Dune Awakening – May 20th for Dune Awakening.There will be AIE in there and at least one non-officer has asked about AIE groups. Ashes of Creation – Beta is in progress. Bhock is playing and I’m sure there are some others. Still a ways out for official release. WoW Patch 11.1 releases this Tuesday Feb 25th, and Season 2 begins the following week on March 4th! Per usual, many class and system changes will come with the patch, and the season brings a new raid and mythic+ dungeon pool WoW Classic Quiet in Cataclysm Classic. The word is the pre-patch for Mists of Pandaria classic will drop before July 31 and full release before August 31. Still some action in the 20th anniversary classic. @redrum is nudging me to run dungeons with a group (Horde side). AIE guild exists on DreamScythe Horde side. I am also working on Hardcore solo self-found on the 20th anniversary Doomhowl server and publishing my progress via my YT channel. The raid team stopped playing cata classic last summer, it looks like there’s still a handful of players logging in though The final cata raid Dragon Soul was released yesterday, and heroic was cleared in an hour by the world first team Season of Discovery is in Phase 7. We had folks in there in early phases but no recent participation. Brand new content like Karazhan Crypts (5-person) and upcoming Scarlet Enclave Raid. Apparently catch-up mechanics are good so perhaps some of us may jump back in to check it out. SWTOR Live stream next week, new content coming, cleared new Lair boss, won another planet. ESO Kraemer will be hosting the next ToT tournament which will run from 02/24 – 03/31. The prizes include houses from the crown store and piles of gold. Let Kraemer know if you’d like to join in the fun. From Kraemer – Greetings to all our Elder Scrolls Online players! We are about to host our 6th Tales of Tribute guild only tournament, and you may wish to play after seeing the prize list this time. In order to participate you need to have the high isle chapter and the ability to play the game tales of tribute if you need help getting the start quest done please ask for help and one of us will be happy to help, The tournament will run the last week of February until the end of March from Feb 24th till Mar 31 the number of games per week will be determined after we see how many sign up.: Sign ups are now open please respond in the tales of tribute channel or DM Kraemer29, Good luck to all players, FFXIV Multiple events getting ready to start in game to prepare for the big 7.2 patch. The moogle tome event which gets you trial mounts, emotes, and glam items starts 2/26 and will run until the patch. Little ladies day starts on Mar 3 and will run for two weeks, featuring a new glam outfit. The patch itself which contains a new 8-man raid tier, a new “Exploration Zone” for crafters and gatherers to build outposts (in space!), and the start of the endgame Dawntrail relic weapons, will be releasing at the end of March, with a final date TBA in the next live letter. At said live letter we will also be receiving new information on Dawntrail’s take at Bozja/Eureka- the Occult Crescent. STO Star Trek Online’s 15th Anniversary event is going on now with Garrett Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser as the reward. This is being said to be one of the better ships in game and you just need to get 40 points, 2 possible points every 20 hours. And the Ark Royal, from the game Starfleet Command, has been confirmed as being part of the 15th anniversary ship bundle, with some potential hints to other ships. The KDF fleet has been progressing along nicely. We just completed Tier I of the Colony, which allows for the coffers to autofill a little each day, which will speed up future progress at the Colony. The Spire is closing in on Tier III, which will unlock the elite tactical consoles. And the Research Lab is pushing the projects to complete Tier II, opening up some nice science consoles for doing space magic. The Fed fleet is still just stacking provisions to allow folks to earn their fleet credits for use in the fleet stores. Fleet Action Report has just passed 240 episodes and started a new series on helping players new and returning from a long hiatus in relearning the game. We are not sure how many episodes this will take, but the goal is to try and cover the things people struggle with the most. We are still doing Fun Nights on Monday at 10pm Eastern and all are welcome. You can bring KDF or Federation captains. And it is a great time if you are struggling to ask for some help. LOTRO The Lord of the Rings Online is excited to announce that four new 64-bit servers will make their debut on March 5th, 2025! Get all of the information about our 64-bit servers, free transfers, and other related topics on LOTRO.com: https://www.lotro.com/guides/lotro-64-bit-transfer-faq-en Here are the details: Monday, March 3rd 12:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): VIP subscribers will be able to log into the game world to access the character creation screen on their destination world and secure up to three names per 64-bit world of their choice. VIPs will not be able to log into the game world to play, or be able to transfer their existing characters, but they can create characters with their desired names and then later rename their transferred character to their preferred name after deleting the placeholder character. Tuesday, March 4th 12:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): Free transfers from 32-bit to 64-bit worlds will be available to all players. The new game worlds themselves will remain closed, but the transfer tool will be enabled to allow for transfers to these worlds. Wednesday, March 5th 1:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): Our new game worlds open! Free transfers from 32-bit to 64-bit game worlds will continue through August 31st, 2025. Free transfers between the new 64 bit worlds will operate on a rotating weekly basis and continue through April 30th 2025. Wednesday, March 12th: We will begin offering free transfers from many previously-closed game worlds to these new 64-bit worlds. See our table in the FAQ for specific server order and timing on LOTRO.com. WoW In WoW news, the Battle Royale game Plunderstorm is back, with new pets, a new mount – the Plunderlord’s Midnight Crocolisk, and transmog including the Swabbie’s Shovel and Oar. You can also purchase Trader’s Tender if you haven’t maxed that out yet, or use it for next month. There’s also a back appearance – Coward’s Azure Target – available until Feb 4 for watching a WoW Twitch stream. The Turbulent Timeways timewalking event is ongoing and great for alts. This week the quest is for 5 Warlords of Draenor dungeons and next week we’ll head to Legion. Coming soon (TM) Will be the Undermine(d) patch, where we visit the massive underground Goblin capital to learn Gallywix is helping Xal’atath with an important project (and it’s not a mani-pedi). Among the features are a customizable, super fast car mount (flying is not available), a quest that awards a rental apartment – which looks like it has bank access, a new dungeon: Operation Floodgate, two new delves with an associated customizable mount: the Gobtrotter. Bran can also now tank, so we can tell him “Don’t stand there!” for a change. And in the new Raid – Liberation of Undermine, we help the various goblin cartels unseat Chrome King Gallywix. Grats to Rogues on their very cool pirate themed Tier set. WoW Classic Classic Refresh has some AIE and Lars is in there, Classic Cata has tapered off SWTOR MFN goes well with a few other event nights a week. Running on two servers, pvp nights, etc. All sorcerer Ops night events are coming up too. New and returning players still. Wed ops team needs fill-ins ESO ESO MFN is back from winter break. We’ve been working on trials and helping each other with endeavors while hanging out and chatting. FFXIV We’re in a bit of between patches lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April. That patch will include the next tier in the Arcadian 8 man raid series, and the live letter should have more details about the upcoming Disciple of the Hand/Land exploration zone and the battle exploration zone. We are still attempting to do treasure maps on Saturday nights in the meantime. STO Fleet Action Report is a video podcast run by AIE personnel on Thursdays at 10pm Eastern. Our show is dedicated to teaching others how to play STO. We feature build videos for both ground and space, show off new ships, and explain other aspects of sto. We also invite you to ask questions during the show so we can answer them live! AIE Classes and/or Honoris run a Fleet Fun Night on Mondays at 10pm Eastern. These events are live streamed so you can join the fun even if you’re not able to join us in-game. These nights are for you! Need help with a mission or build? Want a team of players you know to run TFOs with? Need help working out your first or 300th build? That’s what we’re here for! The giveaway on PC has been moved to Jan. 21st to 26th and there is a bonus Marks “weekend” until then. We do know there is a patch coming this Tuesday to fix the Trait/Loadout bug, and we’re hoping to get more information about the next event then. Consoles are currently experiencing their The Feast event, and it lasts until February 5th. GW2 The next festival event in the GW2 calendar is the Canthan (Lunar) New Year. The dates have not yet been announced, however it should be soon as the actual Lunar New Year starts on Jan 29th this year. LOTRO 64 bit servers, end of this month or so, guild/kinship will move to Peregrin, VIP will have first shot at new names, there might be some things that individuals need to do (like logging in). Dux will be handling moving the guild and house. And with that, let’s get back to us and find out what’s going on in community activities. GAME NEWS With a lot of MMO’s slowing down content releases or releasing smaller patches, the need to always be logged on and grinding something has lessened, which leaves more time for other activities (there’s so much room for activities!). WoW Classic There are a handful of folks still playing on the fresh servers, last time I checked there is nobody at 60 yet. SWTOR Snowball cannons have been put away and keybinds have been reset to blasters and lightsabers. Mostly. Also, Warzone Wednesdays have returned for the new pvp season. Dynamic encounters are providing a quick-hit way to work toward achievements and Conquest targets. 2025 has started! ESO ESO MFN is back from winter break. The event typically is at the end of this month or very beginning of February. They just released a new Sol System map with the updated ESD exterior as it was shown in Season 3 of Picard. Unfortunately with the patch that brought in the new art, there have been several bugs. From loadouts dropping, traits unloading, and even for some people equipment being unequipped. They are aware of the issues and hopefully have this all resolved soon(tm). FFXIV We’re in a bit of an inbetween patch lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April. GW2 A guildmate has requested maybe doing a Guild event next Friday to run Strike Mission: Kainang Overlook. LOTRO Some exciting things on the horizon for lotro. Orion did release a letter in December to show us what they have planned for each quarter in 2025. The first look at update 43 is hitting Bullroarer (pts) hopefully this week. The current legendary rewards track has 1 month remaining. New 64 bit servers are arriving soon. These will be open to all players. These servers will see the culmination of the 2 years of work the devs have put into fighting the lag boss. Standing Stone Games hopes to have these new servers open sometime in February, but no later than March. While we wait for all this, we will still be running some delvings and other instances at lvl cap and running stuff at the other lvl ranges. Still have a couple months to finish everything up. The Public Test Server (PTS) is up with content from the next patch 7.6 on it. One of the things being tested are dynamic events, which are like world quests in other games. A new single boss operation is being tested also. Lords of Light has taken it down, but there are some different mechanics that are not working correctly right now. Should be fun when it’s in the live game. There are rewards for doing 100 dynamic events and a title for defeating the operation boss. Keep an eye out for groups getting together on the PTS if you want to finish those rewards up. We have four operations (raid) teams that are running different things. Check in the SWTOR channel in discord for when spots are open and subs are needed. There are a couple teams that have some regular spots open. Join up if you want to see some different content in Star Wars: The Old Republic. FFXIV New patch is out, more MSQ, more Alliance Raid, and you can combine level 1 outfits in the glamour dresser so they only take up one slot instead of many. Also, update your adventure plates! ESO We’ve been attempting some new-to-us trials, with varying degrees of success. Kraemer has all of the mundus stones and crafting stations currently available at his primary residence. Feel free to stop by to use them if you need to. GW2 Extra Life event running until the 19th. Take your toon into Lion’s Arch. where it will give you a bunch of Karma kegs. Buy Extra Life sponsoring goodies from the gem store, get more prizes, and the money goes to the Extra Life charity via the GW2/Arenanet team. The Extra Life karma boosters are good for getting maximum value from the Orphan Run daily during the upcoming WIntersday. Do both go to LA and buy, and it will give you a couple of Victory Caches. Wintersday event is starting on Dec 10th, running for 3 weeks (as usual). This is the event for stacking up karma, so make sure you have karma boosting food/utilities/etc. stacked up. WoW Noob Raid resumed last week and since cross-faction LFR isn’t a thing, decided to make an attempt at Normal difficulty. They managed the first boss, but still needed a lot of practice for the second one. Next week is time walking so they will be making another attempt at getting rare mounts with a full clear of Ulduar. WoW Classic With the launch of Season of Discovery Phase 5 on Thursday, September 26 at 22:00 CEST, Blackwing Lair will become available. Blackwing Lair is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. Blackwing Lair is on a 7-day raid reset timer. Zul’Gurub is tuned and intended for ~10 players, but the instance is capped at a maximum of 20 players. Zul’Gurub is on a twice-weekly raid reset timer. New Raid: The Crystal Vale Prince Thunderaan the Windseeker has broken free from his prison with the release of Phase 5 and will be available to all players as a newly reimagined raid encounter. Thunderaan is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. The Crystal Vale is on a twice-weekly reset timer. Old Raid: The Molten Core Available with weekly resets starting on September 24th, The Molten Core will become available to raid with an instance capped at a maximum of 40 players. It will remain tuned for 20 players. SWTOR We continue to work through Galactic Season 7, which has been extended 6 weeks. WoW In Wow Retail, players were able to unlock Earthen as an Allied Race following a campaign update this week. The cinematics are glorious! In a coming patch, Drak’thyr will be playable as six additional classes: Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Warrior, Rogue and Priest, with shadow priests getting some cool visuals for their wings. The first Raid of War Within – Nerub-ar Palace – opens September 10 and Queen Ansurak has much to answer for. Blizzard also announced plans for WoW’s 20th Anniversary, an event so massive that it’s going to run through November and December. Features include a revamped Blackrock Depths raid/dungeon, Timewalking for Deadmines, Dire Maul (both sides), and Stratholme (also both sides). There will also be timey-wimey stuff with Chromie at the Caverns of Time, PvP fun in Alterac Valley, and special Warcraft 3 flavored items at the Trading Post. Among notable loot, there will be a new mount: Coldflame Tempest – a blue version of Ashes of Al’ar, baby Doom Lord battle pets, and an updated Appearance for the Iconic Tier 2 armor sets. Paladins are rejoicing (YEAH!) and Gustyail can’t wait for a new set of goofy moose antlers. Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Monks and Evokers will get brand new sets, since they were not around way back then. Raids and mythic 0s are opening with this coming reset. Mythic plus the following reset. There will be timewalking Zul’farrak as well. WoW Classic From Bhock: Got my first Sinestra kill, so only 2 hard modes (Nefarian and Council) remain and I doubt we’ll ever do Council HM. Still making good gold running a gDKP on Saturdays, so good time in game overall, even if I’m not sure of attendance with Firelands and the rest of the expansion, as most players will skip the rest until Mists of Pandaria, And me, I will be a lot on Ashes of Creation, starting 10/25 Alpha 2 SWTOR See Game News ESO We’ve been working on trials, killing world bosses, and helping each other collect gear. FFXIV The next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXIII (83) Set for September 28! This is the first live letter that will debut some of what will come with Patch 7.1. Alternated between low level and max level. 8:30pm EDT Fridays alternate between GSF, Master Mode FPs, and stuff on SV. 8:30pm EDT Game Stuff: There have been a few updates in the last few months. 7.5 and 7.5.1 have been released. 7.5 had the next part of the story and ended on a bit of a cliff hanger. Interested to see where it goes from here. Might be some good surprises coming for us. 7.5.1 launched the next Galactic Season The Greatest Bounty. Bounty Contract week is active while the Season is going on. No new companion again which is good. Also no rep except the one that is for the Bounty Brokers Association. DvL bosses have returned to the game. Only the ones that are needed for the weekly objectives. Can be tough, but with enough people it can be a bit easier. This is something that we have been focusing on for MFN. Only the first 16 in a group get drops from the boss for some reason. Tokens are currently per character, but will be legacy wide once the patch goes in on 10 Sept. Vendors for those tokens have some new items that are legacy bound, but old stuff has restrictions. The SWTOR team publishes a monthly in game event listing each month, and this month’s is really really good. http://www.swtor.com/info/in-game-events?intcmp=sor_bwa-mkt-t-us-lp-117 In preparation for the upcoming patch 5.2, the SWTOR team has decided to help you gear up, level up, and generally speed up your progress in game. They are providing a 250% XP bonus (while leveling up) and a 250% command XP bonus once you reach max level. This will be starting Feb 7th and lasting through April 10th. So that will give returning folks, and players leveling up alts (to max level) plenty of time to take advantage of it. And for those with max level toons, this will speed up gaining CXP, which I know Max and Sema will be very happy with as it’s a constant topic they touch on in their podcast.
