So what the deal is. Here's what we know so far about this incident. Around 8:20am On July 20 yesterday, a man ignited an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza, a federal building that houses agencies including the FBI, ICE, what's USCIS, U.S. oh, and immigration court. According to the investigators, the suspect poured a flammable liquid on the building entrance, igniting the fire using fireworks. Fired several pellets from an airsoft gun.

Okay, he's really trying to get it.

[Tyler]

Yeah, he's got fireworks and airsoft guns. This guy's ready for war. He was carrying additional fireworks and other items. Authorities identified the subject as Andrew Arabaca, age 43. According to the FBI, he's a former u. S. Army soldier who served from 2001 to 2005. Officials said he arrived armed with bad intentions. He was taken into custody at the scene. The injuries. It said several people suffered minor injuries. I'm going to assume that that was the scuffle that took place afterwards getting him into custody. Obviously, there's no fatalities. The FBI joint terrorism task force is leading the investigation. And if that's being. If that's so, then they are the ones who identify whether or not it's terrorism or not. I'm assuming if we haven't heard anything otherwise, they're considering it terrorism when you try to set a federal building on fire. As of now, authorities are investigating the incident as a potential act of domestic terrorism. They have not publicly announced final terrorism charges. Investigators are examining the suspect's motive, writings and ideological connections. Possible motives. Investigators have said evidence recovered at the scene included anti ICE messaging, a cart reportedly saying ice off our streets. Additional weapons and incendiary materials were found. Authorities have not concluded that the suspect acted on behalf of Organized terrorist group. The motive remains under investigation. The suspect remains in federal custody. The FBI continues to investigate whether or not there's going to be additional charges, including terrorism charges. Officials stated that there is no known ongoing threat to the public. Boom. That's. That's one. And now I've got mom Donnie piping.

So let's see. I gotta remove this. Nope. I don't know what's going on with that. Sorry, guys. Bear with me. Pulling it up now. All right, Eli, put it up. FBI says man to set fire outside of the lower Manhattan is an army veteran. I just want to get to what Mom Donnie said. God, why is this so not user friendly? Look at this dude. It's just giant ads and pictures. NYPD said it was looking at the cart of the suspect wheeled to him. Going to talk about ICE in just a second too. Officials say that leading up to the incident, a rabaca. A rebaka. Was that his last name? Took a subway train from Harlem down to Penn Station area, then walked down and stayed overnight in the vicinity of the Holland Tunnel. On the street, they say he went to the near 26 federal building. Okay. He ventured to the spot where he started the fire. On 8am New York Mayor Zo ran Zohran Momdani. I hate that name. Called the incident deeply disturbing. He quote, I believed or I believe no one. I relieved. No one was.

Oh, okay. I need glasses. I'm relieved. No one was seriously injured and that suspected in custody. My team is in touch with the nypd and we will work. We will support the federal investigation. Our administration will continue to ensure that every New Yorker is safe in their city and held accountable any who threatened that. So you can remove that, Eli.

He did all that without making sure he didn't support ICE in any way.

Oh, that's a good point.

And the other thing. Let me kill you. When a politician says my team, that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life. It's like that's basically saying somebody's going to do it. We don't know who, but somebody in the team, like, it's just a horrible term, but you know it. You would think something like this would draw some. Some heavy criticism from the mayor. Right? Heavy criticism. We don't need this as an act of terror. We're going to ensure the safety, like all those things that normal people say. It's just like my team's gonna look into it. We'll. We'll See what happens. Like if a cop had knocked somebody down or hit somebody, this dude would be all over the. All over. How tragic it is. And you know, I don't know.

These things are stupid because there's. People are mentally ill. So there's really not much I wish. Well, I don't wish. It would just be so much better to report a motive, a connection, a deep history. This guy. Because the feds are involved. I'm assuming the mainstream media doesn't even have this guy's army official army record. So tomorrow, hopefully that comes out tonight. We'll look into. I know it was like a fuel specialist or something. His. It was. I mean, ironically, it was something of that nature. But. But yeah, I mean this, That's a, that's a layup.

That's a layup called. To call terrorism. Terrorism is like, I, I get it. You can throw terrorism just on anything if you really want. Like one of our.

Yeah, we have a, we have one of our absolute lame, shouldn't be deputy chiefs did like a one person human trafficking case and got like a state award for like one person that was like basically engaged in prostitution. They called it human trafficking because it sounded good. This is like another act of terrorism. You know, Oklahoma City is an act of terrorism that's like a, like a disaster. 9, 11, the 1993 bombings of the World Trade center, that's terrorism. A guy throws some gas on the ground. Yeah, it's not cool. And it's not really, we don't want that. But to label it terrorism and all that stuff, it's like, can a one man guy with a can of gas really be a terrorist?

But I think, I mean, the federal building has kind of a.

He's got the steps on fire. There's a 0.0% chance the gas burns out in 10 seconds.

You're saying. So wasting federal resources, time and energy, that would be. There's a crime, a homeless guy lighting stuff on fire. You think a New York statute will suffice for arson? Well, it's gonna go away.

You want to take a federal, that's fine. But I mean, we talk in the past about how, you know, the feds don't really jump on anything. And then it's like, oh God, we gotta, we gotta lay up here. We gotta do through some gas on the front steps. We're gonna put them in prison for 97 years. And it's like, I mean that you

should, we should treat this with a New York State statute for arson.

No, I mean, if you want to. No, I'm just saying, like, to categorize it in such a. Like, huge deal. And then Sydney up there. Sydney, look. Oh, he's got fireworks and, you know, he's shooting. Yeah.

Him being a bum really discredits, like, any type of terror.

I saw it from another angle and somebody was like, you really showed the concrete Whose boss? Like, it burnt like an area. Wasn't even a trip.

Yes, I bet it was open an hour later. Until once they took the pictures, it was like, didn't damage anything, but, you know, it's kind of like a layup for terrorism. Right. This is a domestic terrorist. And. And then depending on who he is, is. When it'll. We'll really see where the case goes. You know, if he's anti. He's anti ice.

I posted a video when G Money helped me host the show, and we were talking about ice, and somebody came in comments and said, get these goy boys out of my feed. Or something like that. And I'm like, bro, get these. I was like, we need to get these commi. I was talking to him. I said, get your communist ass out of our comments. And he goes, communist? And I'm like, open borders and not. I mean, we're getting political here. And I understand that, but open borders. Wanting open borders for everyone is a communist ideology, unless I'm wrong.

Socialist. But yeah, it's in that. It's like social. It's like everybody gets everything.

What does socialism turn into?

Horrible conditions? Well, yeah, or dictatorship. The concept is there, like, I mean, Social Security is a socialist program. Everybody gets it, right? Like there. There's some things that everybody should get. But socialism does not work. Communism does not work. So open borders does not work. Because, you know, these are like little distractions. Like, you jump all over the news, you know, right now ISIS is here. There's terrorists all over. Real terrorists. There's real terrorists planning, I'm sure, drone attacks. We've talked about that. They're planning suicide bombings. There's. There's real problems going on this is like a catchy news thing. You know, guys, like I said, set the concrete on fire. It's like. But it gets all the keywords terrorism and all that. I don't know why they call us goy boys. I don't understand that, dude.

First off, I mean, just as a business wise, just as a business, every platform Trump involves does not do well. I don't know, I want to sit there and say it's being throttled because Trump or any type of you're being propagandized, they don't do well. And I really don't know if it's because it's literally that bad to where they see you're being propagandized or they see Trump and they just throttle it or if people really don't want to hear that. And I'm not. The go boys thing blows my mind because I think one of the best arguments that you could have or debates is ice on our streets. I think it's a great debate. It's not, it's not like Trump's progress on president is pretty one sided. You know, most people are not happy with him. But ice on the streets, you know, it's argued one way, there are federal stormtroopers here, you know, on our streets oppressing us. And other argument is they're enforcing immigration laws that went rampant for eight years.

My problem, yes, but my pro. And I agree with you, it did. But then the problem I think is they put inexperienced agents too fast out there. You and, and you know, these agents are not trained like cops. They don't handle calls. They don't, we've talked about it. They're interpersonal, inter. And then you just hired at mass numbers with massive bonuses and put these guys out there. I would have targeted if I was. If you give me the magic wand, I would have targeted only prior law enforcement. I would have been like, we're gonna hire only prior. I don't care if you got a ged, all that. You got five years experience, five or more years experience, local law enforcement, you're going fast track right to the streets.

No college kids, don't do it. Your FBI leader kids, your DI and 30 by 30s, they don't get it. Five years of law enforcement experience. I would have fast tracked those people through the program and put ops, just with a different title out there, which is better interpersonal, better control tactics, better vehicle tactics, all that stuff. Better firearms tactics. You just mass hired dudes and put them out there or you took guys that were sitting in an office under Biden because they weren't allowed to do anything three or four years and stuck them out on the street and we saw those shooting, some of those shootings were questionable. I'm not going to re debate them. But they didn't look the greatest. Right. They didn't look amazing, you know, like Tampa or Hillsborough County. That's a great work. Right? Great work. Nobody can debate. That's great work. Shot the guy, took him out. But when you see these shootings with ice, it's like, you know, I blame the Biden administration for putting, you know, Clos opening the border and putting nobody out there to protect it. But then you also got to take a little blame to the Trump administration. Go. You just mass hired and mass pushed maybe inexperienced agents out there on the street. That and we, we see what happened. So somewhere in the, there's always somewhere in the middle of that is the right thing to do. And I would have gone heavy prior law enforcement. Big bonuses for cops that were already on the job five or more years and I would have put them out there.

Yeah. I mean and that's what the borders are says it sounds weird calling them border. I think it's Tom Holman. Holman home.

And he even said when this last ICE shooting happened, he's like, hey, we're pulling back. We've got to train these guys how to do traffic stops. We've got to teach them law enforcement in our streets. And then Trump the same day or the next day said, nah, we're still doing traffic stops. So it's like, I don't know if there's like a pride or ego thing.

It goes back to the conversation. I had a conversation with my Joanna last night and it's like just like we talk about with what we're talking about. Yesterday I brought up what we talked about, the road patrol thing. How important establishing a career in law enforcement on the road is before going to other units. Now you would consider ISIS like the king of specialty units. They got all the technology, the federal government, all the Patriot act leeway to violate the fourth amendment and track people down through cell phone technology, all these other things. But they have no experience a Lot of them. No experience. That's a dangerous. Like, it's a dangerous combination with as much leeway and as much freedom and as much enforcement as they can do. But then no tactical experience. We saw another one right after the Renee Good shooting. There was one in a parking lot where the dude, I think, Jimmy the car back and forth and got away, smashing in the front and back and boom, boom. Like the, the vit maneuvers are bad, the takedowns are bad. Even that guy in the Renee good one man walking around the front of somebody's car videoing. And she's being hostile. If you're saying so, like, do you really want to put yourself in front of a. Ever, ever? Would you put your. In a hostile environment? Would you ever really want to walk in front of a car parked or. Or not? Like, it doesn't like, you know what I'm saying? I'm not going to debate there in a good shooting. I'm just saying I personally would not walk in front of any car where I felt the person is. I was hostile. Like, I wouldn't do that.

So I mean, I know we, we debated that back and forth about, you know, the whole car being a threat to, to law enforcement. Local law enforcement has pretty much for the last decade adopted that shooting into cars is 99 of the a not a no go.

[Mike]

Yeah.

You can't articulate standing there taking accurate shots. Like the situation would have to be. You're laying there, can't move, and your only chance is disabling the vehicle by shooting the driver. Or you're. You're wedged in somewhere and you have no route of escape. That's the only time that I think.

[Mike]

Yeah, and, but. And you're right. Or, you know, yeah, you're, you're. Or the car's coming at you extremely fast and you were stationary like you said. Or you're doing some. But the other problem is, and I'm not gonna blame ICE all the way. The other problem is you have governments like Minnesota that don't enforce a law. So if they got off their ass and stop pandering to illegals and criminals, Somalians and said, hey, we're going to. We're going to help, like, help ice. By helping ice, we're going to eliminate ice. Like, if you really want to eliminate ice, like, hey guys, we're going to take the inner, inner perimeter. We're going to put. We're going to help.

We're going to arrest criminals. They're criminals. Sorry. If you came here illegally, you're a criminal. No way around it. What should happen to you? Another debate for the ages. But at the time, you're illegal, you're a criminal. Until there's a resolution. Let's get ICE out of here. Go ahead. We're gonna, we're gonna do it. And that would be. That would, that would. That would be a way of getting the job done and then not letting your citizens be subjected to the mean agents of ICE and the tyrannical government of Mr. Trump. That's fine. You want him out of here, tell him to leave. But you have to enforce the law. You can't just go, get out of here. And we're going to go back to lawlessness. Like, yeah, like. So if you're gonna. You one or the other, you want ICE gone, send them gone. But tell them, hey, we're gonna, we're gonna continue to round up. But that's a, like I said, debate for the ages. If a Guy came here 30 years ago, he's never been arrested, never been in trouble. Should you uproot his entire family and send them back to Mexico? Like, that's, That's. That's a tough one to really navigate.

It's not. I mean, the prior, they did a priority. They did like an unofficial priority tree of who we're going after. And then once the top of the tree started getting slim pickings, it was

We've talked about this. Where law enforcement. And I don't. No, no. It's not just government jobs. It's law enforcement. You, no matter what your capacity is, you have to produce results or you almost look like, do we need this anymore? Do we need this facet of law enforcement if we're not getting results? So what do you do?

Your job's a hunt warrants all day. It's a dry day. You're like, I'm gonna. I have to get a warrant.

I'm going for the child support warrant.

We're going for the misdemeanors, the Ritz, you know, if there's no felonies. And we spent eight out of 12 hours hunting felonies, and they're all coming up nothing. Well, we gotta do something. So we go for the misdemeanor.

No, I get it. But here's my problem. And we talked about this, I believe yesterday, as well as letting things go. So you go. You come here illegal. It's illegal, right? Come here legal. You shouldn't have. You come here under Clinton and he's like, yeah, whatever. And then you get to Bush and you hide through the Bush area and then you go back, Obama comes, everybody's good. Now you've been here 15, 16 years and it's like all of a sudden Trump comes in and says zero. And are you. Yes, you're here illegally here. I'm not, I'm not justifying breaking the law. But we also said we use discretion with driving on a suspended. We use discretion on dui. We use discretion on. So where does discretion come into? A 20 year illegal immigrant who rooted his family here, has never been in trouble. His kids are in school and he cuts lawns for a living or he does whatever job. Never been in trouble. But he's here illegally. But he's been here 20 years.

It's kind of like, oh, I get you. I, I agree with you. I 100 agree with you.

You know, is that, is that the slim pickings? You're like, I need a guy today. I'm gonna go get, you know, this dude down here.

Because 20 years, the only way to fix that is one guy sitting there with every case that goes in front of him. This is Edwin Gonzalez Ravz. You know Lopez, he's been here 25 years and he cuts lawns and he's got no criminal record. That person has to go. Okay, Edwin can stay next and that. Who decides that? Does that go to a border? Does that go to appointed person?

That's every state having a. Every. There can't be that many. It's a one full time job. Create a state position. That way states can dictate themselves. Right. We want this many or we don't. An appointed position from the governor who literally reads every case file on every immigrant detained and then determines. But when you do that, when you cut them then they have to have some kind of temporary. Hey, he's okay to be here for X amount of time. Like that part probably doesn't make any sense.

No, but in. In to piggyback off that it would be. I lost my whole train of thought. You were saying man, that was rough.

And that is the shitty thing is that it does. The process sucks. And that's what people.

I got it. So we offered two grand to send like you show up, we're going to send you back, right?

There was a like a line, right? You come in here, we'll send you back peacefully. You won't get detained, you won't get arrested. Have that same process and go. If you're here and you've not been arrested, show up here, we're going to issue whatever the court or whatever that process you just talked about, you're going to get a hearing date, right? So now you're sitting at home and you're like, okay, I'm illegal, but I've been here 10 years, I've never been in trouble. And now you get a notice or the government goes across the screen. If you're in illegal and you've been here 10 years and you've never been in trouble here, go do this. And that would be your like a fast track or some way to get citizenship. And it's obviously you have to meet the criteria, but they're going to stay here illegally anyway. You're never going to find everyone. So that olive branch would say, you know, you go to them and say, hey. And even if you get to like attorney, even if attorney gets involved, say, hey, you know, they're going to represent these guys. Get the illegals that have not been in trouble or even minor, you know, we got a driving on a suspended or something. Come on, dude. And just say we're. Because what does that do? That gets them a Social Security number. That gets them now paying taxes. That helps the federal government and it works into the process. There's a whole right side. Everybody, God damn it taking their jobs, they all go back like, okay, in a perfect world if you could resecure the border and everybody was out and we started over. I get it. Enforce it to the te. Nobody comes in illegally. We're not there. So what's the best way to get people back into the tax system? And paying would be something like that, hey, you're. You've got a minor misdemeanor, you've never been in any other trouble. No felonies, none of that. Show up, we'll give you a date and we're going to work you into getting citizenship. I mean that's better to me than.

But imagine how much resources and money that takes federal tax.

[Mike]

But it's going to put money into the tax system. Think about how many equally immigrants are here right now not using, not paying into Social Security and using health care benefits and all that stuff. So at least you can put a dent in that number, in my opinion. And it. And it. It extends an olive band. You know what that does then? Because this is popular. The Cubans are huge about. Because the Cubans struggle to get here. And they dealt with all that. All that stuff way harder than I believe the Mexicans did. And it's. It creates an incentive for other Hispanics to go, well, I did it. Why didn't. You're not doing it. You're not paying Social Security. Now I'm here, I'm working. Now I'm a citizen. I knew I did it the right way. You guys should do it the right way. Yeah, it creates like a. Like a, you know, like a follow the leader. Like, if this guy's listening and this kid's not talking back to the teacher, you know, then the next kid doesn't. It's kind of the same thing, but.

Good, good, man. Hey, this. This New York terrorism thing, we kind of broke it down a little before you got on. There's not much to it. Seems like a bum. Seems like a radical bum set fire to steps on a Capitol bill or federal building. Do you believe. And this is what me and Mike were bouncing back and forth. Do you believe that we should, as a. As a. As a government or as a nation, treat this as terrorism? Or do you think that the FBI should just be like, you know what? New York state statue arson. Let New York handle it. Because although it does fit the criteria of terrorism, it's a bum with a shopping cart with fireworks. What's your take on that?

[Pat Brosnan]

So, first of all, good afternoon, guys. Nice to be back. Thanks for inviting me, you know. Always my pleasure. My take on it is pretty straightforward. Yeah, he's a bum with a shopping cart and some kind of an Air pop rifle. And he's almost like Mel Gibson. And in the Road Warrior, right, when he's pulling out 17 knives and bayonets, remember the guy with the bald head is checking in all his weapons like it's this endless stuff. But I wouldn't, I wouldn't discount for two reasons. I would carry it as a terroristic case for the reason that you want to send both a specific and a general deterrent message to any other low functioning ass clowns like him who are out there entertaining notions of grandiosity. Right. Blown up somehow, 26 Federal Plaza. They have to understand that there's a serious penalty associated with it. And the penalty is federal prison. And they don't deviate downward on the federal sentencing guidelines with the T word in front of it. They deviate. All right, but it's upward. Yeah, it's upward deviance. And it's always, always, almost always upward deviance. So I think if nothing else is to serve a very powerful message for other clowns who are out there who think that this is kind of a cool thing to do. And it's, it's very, very serious. Very, very serious in my view. Although he wasn't able to execute, ironically in a serious way because he, you know, he brought a knife to a gunfight, so, so to speak, you know, he didn't bring the right weapon. But that's only because he didn't have them. Had he had, was he in possession of, I'm sure, a machine gun or a series of handguns, I would say with relative certainty that he would have packed them that day for sure. Just didn't have him because he's a loser.

And here's another thing I didn't even think about till right now. I just said trust. New York is going to handle it with their state statutes. New York obviously right now currently has proven not so tough on crime. So maybe the answer is absolutely, do not allow New York to handle it as an arson kit.

[Pat Brosnan]

Well, I think first of all the Fed should take it. It's a federal case, it's a terroristic event. It falls right into the statutory elements of the crime. Right. It's an easy one. And the fact that he was not successful, no different than those terrorists up at City hall, right where the, the chief got all the credit. And meanwhile some patrolman tackled the guy. Perfect tackle, textbook crushed him. The Chief jumped a 3 1/2 foot fence and they want to put him in for the medal of Honor. I mean it's, it's ridiculous. And by the Way I hear he's a really nice guy. I don't know him, but this is just. We all seen the tape. It's insanity. The guy did all the work was some patrolmen from sector George, right? And he's out there and he pins him, pins him flat. Knocks them right out. You know, these. These guys are metastasizing. They're developing. And we all know why. Tyler and Mike, right? The reason is rhetoric, right? And rhetoric is getting overused. It's become almost a trite phrase, not dissimilar, to see something, say something, see something, report it. Right? Well, they almost become overused cliches. But the reality is. Keep painting ice. Keep characterizing, categorizing, yelling from the mountains that ice and ice officers, sworn federal officers, are identical to the Waffen SS in Nazi Germany. Keep saying that. Keep saying that. And guys who are on the edge and girls who are on the edge and inordinately susceptible to that narrative, who buy into it where it resonates in their thick heads where the madness is ping ponging around, right? And they, then they act, they execute. Now, the fact that he didn't have the appropriate weapons to execute with lethality means nothing to me. It's like putting a gun on a cop. And because the round misfires, somehow you get a play. I mean, the intent is there. He just didn't bring the right weapons to be successful in his twisted mind. You know, it's rhetoric, man. It's rhetoric. It's never going to stop. It's only going to get worse. But it's lethal. It can be lethal.

And I do like your deterrence point. You know, him being a bum, I'm sure he is used to in and out of jail, especially when it's extremely cold. Might go get yourself put in jail, but you know, federal prison time is a long time. No fun.

[Pat Brosnan]

It's a long time indeed. And if you don't make your bed one time, yeah, you're in trouble. 15% off of the good time. 15 points just vanishes like a fart in a breeze. It's gone. You're in for 100 bullets. 100 points. It's the way it worked. I put a lot of guys in federal prison. It's. It's not the camp that is, you know, sometimes spoken about.

Pat, I got a question. Do you think. So we talk a lot about the judges and the prosecutors being a problem in the criminal justice system for light punishment licenses. Do you think that the Democrats have some responsibility for these terrorist attacks by their attacks Publicly on ice, they're advocating for violence against ICE by almost ignoring or allowing or saying we're not going to cooperate. Do you think a crackdown on the politicians that are supporting this anti ICE movement would also help in this, these terrorism problems and all these attacks on the ICE agents?

[Pat Brosnan]

I absolutely do. I think any way that at all that we could put a governor or control. I don't know that we could or how. But if you could, that could at least tamp down this poisonous, this super dangerous rhetoric that's incentivizing, emboldening bad guys and bad girls to execute on their twisted plans. Listen, we've seen it April 29, right, at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Yeah, that guy. Okay. It wasn't Tamara Shane. Tamara Shane was 345 Park. I don't recollect his name, although I know it's three words because all these bad guys have three word names, Right. It's unbelievable. But the reality is they're susceptible to this. And keep saying that Trump is Hitler, keep saying Trump's evil. We've had six documented attempts on his life. Now, the mainstream media will tell you it's three, but I can tell you with certainty of all six. And you guys know that we've went through this. I've been to all six scenes. Who wouldn't, you know, whatever. But the reality is, I, I don't know, man. I think the needle is so deep in the vein, I don't know if they can back it out. I don't know. I don't think, I think so.

I just, I just look at when you see, you know, like AOC and the squad and all these politicians that are, they work for the people, their government, but they work for the people. Get on TV and say these things about the President and you don't have to like him. Just, I'm not, I'm not here to support Trump. I'm talking about the, just the president. When I say that, I mean the government of the number one person. Right. It's like rooting for the head coach of your favorite football team to fail. Like, we're rooting for the pilot not to be able to fly the plane. When these people get an TV and. Yeah. And say these things to me, it's like you're inciting a riot, you're inciting chaos, you're inciting a fight back against the government. There's a difference between peacefully protesting, using your right to vote, going to stand out in front of a building and saying we don't Agree with this all, First Amendment, all. I fully support it. But when you start advocating for violence against the government, if I went outside right now and said, let's go overthrow the government, let's go do this and that, let's go fight ice, I'd probably get arrested or somebody would come visit me. But a politician gets on national tv, says the same thing, and there's no consequences or anything that happens to them, it seems pretty twisted to me.

[Pat Brosnan]

It is. I 1000% agree. And the most jarring, relatively recent analogy would be what de Blasio did when de Blasio locked hands in early 2014 in the city of New York with a lot of folks who really had a big problem with the nypd, because there had been some, in their view, not in mine, questionable shootings, in my view and the grand jury and the grand juror's views, justified. But still. De Blasio locked hands with his wife and his son and daughter, marched up and down throughout Harlem and chanted, as you may recollect, and I'm certain a lot of your listeners do, kill the cops, eat the bacon, shoot the pigs. All driven around pigs, right? I mean, disgusting and reprehensible rhetoric. But what happened? What happened on December 22nd of 2014? We all know what happened. An animal who was emboldened and further poisoned by this wicked, wicked vitriol that he was spewing the mayor. De Blasio gets on a bus in Baltimore, gets off in Brooklyn, and goes up to Officer Wenjin Liu and Officer Rafael Ramos on 22 December in 2014, and shot them both in the face. It's a fact. They were having a roast beef sandwich on their meal, and I said then and I say now, and I said it endlessly. I was driven to the point of madness at what occurred. That was unheard of, a double execution in my time in law enforcement. I know with the BLA it happened, and with the Panther Party in the 70s and 60s way before me, that de Blasio didn't have blood on his hands. He had blood up to his neck. He had blood past his shoulders. It was his reckless, criminal, poisonous words that empowered this animal. It resonated in his head to get on a bus in Baltimore, take it to Brooklyn, and assassinate in cold blood two uniformed nypd. It's unbelievable, but it's the same. You know, it's the same thing. Micah Tyler. It's the same thing. This guy keeps hearing, Trump's a Nazi. The ICE is the same as the Waffen SS, the ICE or Gestapo. They're Nazi Germany in 39. This is really dangerous. These are really, really dangerous words. And they take seed. They germinate in the minds of folks who are inclined to be a little bit off center, who are susceptible to that narrative. Whatever reason they're off center. I don't know why. Drug use. Maybe they're just not wired right. Right. Maybe they were. Maybe they were. Holly that fires on one plug. I don't know. I know they. Mine don't run on one plug. You gotta run on two plugs.

But. But I know, like, like I said, if. I know if I. If I got on the Internet every day and said, next time somebody resists arrest, shoot them. Next time somebody. You see somebody yell at a cop, shoot them. Next time you see somebody talk back to a copy, shoot him. I'd be probably in prison pretty quick, or I'd be arrested for inciting violence. But if you go on TV and say, kill the cops, kill Trump, kill it. It's freedom of speech. Right? It just. It kind of goes both. And I'm not sitting here trying to be some super cop supporter. Cops do things wrong. It needs to be checks and balances. But my problem is that one side of the aisle, on one side of this country gets to say whatever they want with no consequences. And then if you unintentionally, even just insinuate protecting the law, serving the. The criminals in ice, you're like a terror. You're considered a terrorist or a racist or all that stuff. It's just so bad now that, you know you can't even support ice. You can't support the police, you can't support the president without catching some type of slur towards you. But you can go incite violence against all those people on the other side, and it just completely gets blown away. There's nothing.

[Pat Brosnan]

Well, two things. It's absolutely amazing. It's amazing and it's horrible. It's reprehensible and disgusting. I want to throw up when I hear it. But we're civilized on the right. The Republicans are civilized. I never read, nor did I hear any Republicans call for Kamala Scout. No, none of them called her a Nazi. A female Nazi. A female Hitler. A nun called the child predator. Pardoning Tim Waltz. God, we could do five hours on that guy. Don't even get me warmed up. No one called him a Nazi. Nobody said he was a killer. And we're civilized. We really are. And to a fault, perhaps, because we don't partake in that. We just don't and the left and the woke left and the left side extreme leaning Democratic party is really extremely vociferous. And at the root of the ice matter. This is the second piece. I don't wanna lose track. Let's talk for one second. And I try to do this on my show and I do it periodically on Fox. I mentioned this morning on Newsmax last night. Sorry. Let's talk for a few seconds about what sanctuary city means. This is a big deal and I think it gets lost in the wash where people hear it so much they don't understand the fundamental fracture the inconceivable divorce between the state law enforcement and the federal law enforcement when the pursuit and apprehension of criminal illegal aliens. So these are illegal aliens. Granted they here criminally. Right. So that means they have. But they're wanted in connection with separate crimes. Sanctuary cities protect them. And this is, and I know your listeners are extremely conversant on it, but it's not bad to get a primer once in a while. I prime myself all the time. If those sanctuary cities simply allowed the state police in court, when a judge releases John Doe to just simply say, oh, I have a sworn federal officer right here at the side door. That's him right there with a badge around. He's got the vest on. I have to give them to him because he has an open criminal warrant for his arrest. But instead they sneak him outside door. So what happens then? You got to hunt them down the street, you got to stop cars, bang doors down. And then people get shot. They get shot justifiably because they resist. They use weaponized vehicles. Sanctuary cities really is, is at the heart in many ways as both a catalyst and a driver of why these shootings unfold, particularly relating to the cost stops. All of this guys, as you well know and I'm certain your listener and viewership know is 1,000% avoidable. 1,000%.

Yeah.

[Pat Brosnan]

It's the judges and the politicians. It's madness. Madness really is. I mean, you know, I don't even know where to start with. I can't think of how many times I would go to other jurisdictions, even in other counties to pick up a bad guy had a warrant on or had a criminal complaint on. It's the simplest buy you go to D.A. yeah, that guy, when he, when he comes off the stand, when he's released from the docket, he's mine. He's mine because of this. This is his name on it. I got him and I bring them to a different jurisdiction. I don't know how we can be enemies. I don't understand. That's. Enemy behavior.

Doesn't make sense.

[Tyler]

No, I mean, yeah, and you hit a such a good point on the sanctuary cities that to me, I live my life through analogies. And that to me is like, you know, an adult that's enticing a child to do bad. Like you're, you're sanctuary city is not doing anybody any good, especially the people that they are giving sanctity for to. It's. It's hurting them and it's hurting the citizens, hurting law enforcement. It's just over politics and the way they want to be interpreted in. As their office, you know, it just, it blows my mind. But that to me is. And we talk about, we talked about this last week. Yeah, but think about the word. Think about the choice of the, of the adjective. Right. It's modifying the noun city. Sanctuary city. Really? How about criminalizing city? Lawless. How about lawless? Right. Lawless. Right. Correct. Creating a city more lawless. How about creating a city more dangerous? And all of this is so easily mitigatable, so easily solved. And to your point, it does. And it's an excellent point. It has the complete ring of childish behavior. It's like, hey, it's my ball. I'm splitting. I'm not going to play. It's my prisoner. You can have them. You're some kind of a fed. You're not trained, you're not swung. Meanwhile, they are trained and sworn and they're fed. Find out when you lie to them or you misbehave that the, the land up in the federal Twilight Zone,

it follows their socialist mindset because there's no, there's no plan. They just throw it together. I bring everybody here. We're going to protect everybody. Well, who's going to pay for it? Well, everybody's happy. We just have to protect it. Well, who's going to protect them? Who, Who, Who's Going to pay for it. It doesn't matter. We're just, we're sanctuary. We're going to make it all safe. But you can't. It doesn't sustain itself. And I mean, unfortunately we've seen, you know, I mean, New York gets a lot of flag. San Francisco, I see, I follow a page. In San Francisco, there's just zombies on fentanyl just walking around. Like right next door to the nice districts. You go near the Anaheim Angel Stadium, there's miles of homeless tents. They hide that so well.

They push it on New York. New York gets all the flack. I was just in New York for four days over the weekend. Wednesday to Sunday, it's actually, you know, I saw a lot of cops. Thank God they all wear their vest. Kudos to nypd. Wear your vest every day. A lot of cops, a lot of good protection. The World cup was there. It looked, you know, they were, they were everywhere. But you go to these other places where these socialist governors are in charge and these, these everybody eats for free and everybody. And there's just zombies walking around. You can't sustain it. There's not possible. It's not possible to sustain that. It's going to fail and it's going to fail really hard and it's going to be really ugly when it does.

It's sheer madness. When I owned a security company, I sold it recently. We had operations in 43 states. Men on boots on the ground and 500 and change cities. We were a small national but a big regional. That's what I used to say, you know. Four guys in northwest Arkansas, a thousand in Miami. Right. Two in Oklahoma, a thousand in the big markets. But I will tell you, I went undercover for about six shifts in uniform, security officer uniform. The photos are not available. You will never get them.

Well, nobody knew me from the Bronx. I'm stuck. I'm in San Diego, which is where I learned. I mean, I knew San Fran and LA were really proud, but I thought San Diego, I always thought of La Jolla. I remember from years ago, it was a beautiful place. Well, I'll tell you, when I went undercover, and I forget the article, there was a law, so it was about eight years ago, I did two day tours, two 4 12s and two overnights in a couple of different stores, Walmart. So the rule that had changed and this is part of the nightmare that California's become. They made A rule that unless a grand larceny. Right. Was north of $1,000, might have been north of 999. It was basically the same as public urinating or graffiti. It became a non classified misdemeanor or violation. I forget how.

Yeah, because. Did they just give you a court date?

[Pat Brosnan]

Nothing. And a summons. Maybe a $50 summons. So I'm in there and I'm in the uniform that you will never see me in, in a photograph, that uniform. And. And I see these zombies marching in. They were encamped across the street you mentioned. And then for as far as the eye could see, like Mad Max. There was tent cities with fire, little fires burning during the day, and it's hot there. And little kids running around in loincloths. I mean, right out of Mad Max stuff. I mean, it's really not exaggerating. These zombies would come in, they would. They order a pound of roast beef, stick it in their pants. They grab two six packs, they grab popcorn, whatever it was, but it was under a thousand. They'd walk right across the street, 30ft away from the store. And it was a couple of steps on an abandoned building in one of the stores. They pop the beers, have the popcorn, eat the roast beef and no arrest. No arrest. And then if they wanted, and this is beyond mind boggling, I couldn't get over it really, they would throw themselves. They could throw themselves in front of the station house at 8pm, no, sorry, 10pm and sleep there till 8am and the police were forbidden and prohibited by law to even roust them, even say, hey, this is in front of police headquarters. So this is the land of, you know, it's the land of make believe. It's insanity out there. But anyhow, that was my little undercover boss thing. And I learned a lot about how California works. But I'll tell you, I was pretty disappointed. Not disappointed, rather. I wasn't surprised that Ma' am Dami and Commissioner Tisch, who I happen to like, made a big deal about two weeks ago about the Compstat numbers going down on gun violence and the major seven felons, the felonies in New York. This is coming out of the most wicked winter we've had in 20 years when people were buried behind two feet of snow. I mean, there's no context to it, but my thing putting that aside is perception for a city of New York is more important than the reality of the numbers. Even though the numbers may have ticked downward for whatever reason, including all the snow and ice and everything, the tourist from Ohio who comes in for a week and he sees Dopine's mainlining across from Madison Square Garden and he sees zombies lurching between the train cars on the a train at 6pm and he sees all the madness that's going on. Filth. And believe me, no one loves New York more than me. That's the perception. And I would argue that the perception is the reality. And the vast majority of people believe that New York is less safe today than it was last year or the year before. You know, and that's. And it's just, you know, they can sanitize those numbers. They can play with the numbers. Listen, how subjective is a number, right? What's a robbery? A grand loss. Maybe it was a petty loss thing. Who the hell knows what it was, right? You know, they all play these games. I think New York City is. It looks, it looks pretty dirty and crime ridden to me. And I'm in there a lot.

I was just there and it was.

Yeah, what'd you think? What was your take?

Yeah, it was, it looks, I was there and it's been two years, so it looked worse in the last two years than it did. And then an interesting thing was you have to actually think about protecting yourself. I was on one of the subway trains and some dude started screaming God. And by. And just big beard, looked like he could be from a country far away that has different beliefs of ours. And I handed my phone to my kid and I said, start recording. And I said, if I have to do something, it was, I was, it was serious. Dude was going wild on the subway car. And I'm like, if I have to do something, I need to make sure this is recorded so that I don't end up in prison.

Like, you know, for the grand jury

you have to worry about protecting yourself. Was like, I really made the conscious thought, like here, it has to be recorded if I defend myself, myself, because if not, it's going to be, you know, you know, white dude beats up, you know, Muslim guy and all that garbage that's going to go on. Look at that.

Yeah, that's what the first. That's what popped in my head.

But yeah, it was, you know, the, the law enforcement was. Presence was very good, I'll give them that. But it did.

Yeah, but you're a big guy, Mike. They'd be, they'd be, they would be hesitant to take a guy like you want. Trust me. They're pushing 80 year old, 80 year old guys onto the tracks. There's been a couple of them.

But I mean that, that if you, if a cop can articulate reasonable suspicion to, to detain you, if it makes sense, they can. They have to be able to articulate it or it's a violation of your rights. The thing is, is that you don't get. But he didn't do anything wrong. He's allowed to talk a little. And to be honest with you, it seemed a little calm. It could have been way somebody getting handcuffed for no reason. In their mind, they're at work, they're getting handcuffed and detained for no reason. Most people are not going to go, oh, I'm just gonna let the cops do their job. They're gonna be pissed off. Rightfully so. But it's on the job of the law enforcement officer to articulate like the male was doing. You're being, you're not under arrest. You're being detained for this reason. She's repeating him and then she. Then the guy being handcuffed elicits an emotional response. Yes.

Here's the. Here's the. Here's the line. Here's. So, so this is where Dominic's right? Imagine you and I, American City. We're doing nothing wrong. We're standing outside the studio, right? Joe's over. We're just standing there and they show up like that, I guess, right? We have no. We can't argue.

We can't argue with what they're doing. If you resist, if you try to defend yourself, you're going to get shot, you're going to get tased. So here is. It's that catchy gray area of there's a crime. So when you're going to do something like that, what just happened, you need to be very good with your verbal skills to explain up front. Sir, we just had an active shooter a block away. You saw you mildly fit the description. I'm just. For my safety, we need to cut. That stuff needs to be in the forefront of your brain to. I hate using this word because it's gay, but de escalate, right? You have to at least. And maybe not de escalate and be informative and of why you're doing what you're doing. It can't just be, I see cops, I see cops. I do what I want. You can't. It can't be that or you're going to get resistant. Is if this dude did nothing wrong.

And he didn't. Does he have the right to run away from a tyrannical screaming woman who's trying to put him in handcuffs? That's a really good argument at this point in the police world. The other thing I saw somebody comment was these guys are not trained. These two people are terrible cops. On your back. On your stomach. Roll over. Get on your back. Get on your stomach.

Well, she told me to go over here. Okay, that's fine. Yeah.

Oh, under. And then how many times have you seen a handcuff person pull a gun out and shoot somebody? I've seen it plenty. They handcuff this guy and then completely just forget about him. She's got her back to him and they're dealing with the other guy. He's over there talking. She comes and yells at him. This is the problem. These calls like this are the reason why the auditors get so much press while pe. Why people hate cops. It's a high risk job. I get it. It's stressful. I get it. If you never ever, ever train or get yourself in that position on your own to be uncomfortable and have to perform under heat and under stress, that is the result of when the first time you have to do it comes out. She is garbage. That's a garbage way of handling it. That's a terrible call. And everyone has a right to be outraged with her behavior.

Yeah. I mean, would you take two, two, two people, right? In a scenario like that, it's tough enough for one person, but then you got, you just got to have training like that. Two people that maybe don't work together very often. I mean, the whole point of that is security and detention. Right. So I, if, if the wet. If it's a weapons charge, there's two people, there's two of us. It takes two of us to cuff one person. Everyone lay down, face down, put your arms out. And if, if they run away, they run away. Hey, we got two running. I gotta, I got a spot for canine. Get the bird up. I'm not going to do a two on two thing because that causes you stress and then it causes duress in the situation which then it gets taken out on the people that you're detaining. And worst case scenario, you're detaining two people that had nothing to do with it. So if you can't work the detention in a way that keeps calm and that's where it's a Female. No, that's.

That's where the. That's where the office. I'm saying I'm gonna go down the road. That's where the officer presence and your. Your way you look, the way you present yourself, that could have been done like this. Hey, man, I need you to get on the ground. I'm not going to handcuff you at this time unless you do something that warrants it. We just had an officer shot at a block or two blocks from here. I don't know what's going on right now. I need you to cooperate. I don't want to use any force. Just stand here, put your hands out to the side. Don't move. And I think you and I might get that response where somebody goes, all right, bro, Like I get now. You might get the one that says, you, whatever, but you've at least established some semblance of direction about why you're doing what you're doing to walk up to someone with a gun out and immediately go to what they did. A normal person is going to question why the. Am I getting handcuffed in the United States of America, in the most free country on God's earth, when I did absolutely nothing wrong. You have a right to wonder why. You have a right to wonder why. That's why there's these rules and these constitutional amendments and all those things. These guys wrote down a couple, you know, a couple years ago that we just celebrated because we have all these freedoms now. There are times you do have to listen and cooperate with law enforcement. There's a traffic crash, the road's blocked. There's a crime scene. In this case, if there was a high risk incident within proximity, you gotta start maybe detaining people. But then they have to really fit the description really well. It can't just be a black dude that's standing in the area. But I think if you use your presence and your verbal skills to explain to them up front, then if they don't cooperate and you have this same female going, sir, we just had a critical incident one block away. You mildly fit the description. We have very limited information on what's going on. I need you to get on the ground and just stand here, please. Don't reach in your pockets. Don't move. I don't want anything to escalate from here, but I have to determine, you know, what kind of crime I have a block away. Now the guy has an option to go. Well, that was a pretty good description of what's going on. Maybe I should cooperate and listen versus

get on the ground.

[Mike]

Like, nobody's gonna listen to that. And he has a. Does he have a right to get up and run away? He didn't do anything. And then the cop lovers are gonna say, well, he was told to sit down. You can't illegally detain me. You don't have a right to make me do something if I haven't. Is. Was. Or about to commit a crime. But the cops are protected by the thought that they might.

Was. Or about to. So in that blue gray area, you have to be very descriptive and very reasonable when you're not sure that the person you're getting ready to detain is indeed involved. So she's emotionally hijacked. She's completely gone. Then that's the result of what you. You know, I'm gonna go. Lack of training more than a female. Yes, females are emotional. It's an easy pop shot at a female cop. But inexperience, no. Officer presence, job knowledge, all that stuff factors in as well.

And then, you know.

You know what's funny is we weren't dunking on a female cop at all. This was just bad police work in general.

And that was a male. The male probably would. Got it worse. I probably would have used more adjectives if it was a male.

And this happens. This isn't really a female thing. All jokes aside. Yes, it was an emotional and illicit response. So it's easy to say, well, it's gonna. That's gonna happen to all females. But we've seen tons of dudes do it. The one. The. The guy that was pointing. You remember that viral. They made, like, T shirts out of him. Yeah, they did the same thing. You just lose your temper.

Yeah, but it's. It's just dangerous when, you know, guns are out. And like I said, if you thought he was that big of a threat, you literally handcuffed him and then left him unattended, turned your back to him, and went to doing over the other one. How hard is it? How many you work the hood, dude? Even you just say, bro, sit down. This is what's going on. There's a robbery down the block. I didn't do it. I know you. Maybe you didn't. I just need you to sit down, bro. Sit down for a minute. I'll get you out of here. Just the. The. The gift to gab, the ability to communicate. You throw a joke in there, you lighten the mood. There's just so many things I know you. And I would. Would Be able to handle. And that's not a male or female thing. That's just. That's just a. A job knowledge, experience, how to deal with people. And like I said, this is just. It looks bad. The optics are bad to black dude. He throws that in there, and my skin's already against me. Like, it just. The gang's all here on that one, and it looks really bad.

Like, I would be like. I would. I would mock that scenario. You're walking up your third on scene. They already have the two cars like this. They got the guy screaming. They got the chick playing drunk. That's actually a great police scenario.

One time, it was a drive by, and I was first, and everybody on the porch was all shot up. And I'm like, there's still people inside that were hit. And I'm like, you put pressure on there. And I'm like. And I'm going inside because the. It was. It came out that a little girl was shot, and I had no idea. So as soon as I go inside the house, mind you, scene's not safe at all. It's assumed. Drive by, and somebody gives me a little girl that was shot in the arm, right? So I take her. This is. This is cop work. Everybody else can bleed out. As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only one there. I'm taking her out of the danger zone, and I take her to my F150. I put the tailgate down, and I'm like. I'm as far. Like, the scene's not safe for rescue, but I'm as far as away as I can get. So FD Made the call, they drove up, and they. They took her. But when I put her on the tailgate of my F150, her pajamas caught my tourniquet, and it was dark, and I. I sat her down. I laid her down. And then I go, my tourniquet's gone. And I'm like, what the. Dude, it was gone. Turns out it. Her. Her. It was attached to her leg.

Yeah, Dude. I was like. Like, I'm like. I'm such a. I'm instantly thinking, like, dude, I'm such a piece of that. I lost my tourniquet. Didn't know I lost it. And now a little girl needs one. But I watched the body cam, and it's in Chipotle. The body cam shows the tourniquet going up with her leg when I lifted it. But I didn't see it fall to the Ground and it was too dark.

That video reminds me one of my last calls I handled before it all came to a crashing halt. What? Dude was standing in the driveway. Similar situation. He's standing in front of the car. His wife's in the car in front of him. It's a pickup truck. She's leaving. And the tailgate was down. And instead of going forward, she accidentally put in reverse and floored it and just snapped this dude's leg, like, impaled in the driveway. And I remember getting there and putting the tourniquet on and all that garbage. It's horrible. Those people screaming again. That's where you're right. Self inducing or inducing that in training, that is like, the most. You can't even think that scenario up. I'm gonna. You're gonna stop a guy for a warrant, and you're gonna get out of the car. And as you're pulling them back to the car, a DUI is going to crash into your partner and pin you. Like, you can't. You can't prepare for that.

Well, the other part, that and the fact that the person, if we're going to name like, like go after him and somebody for an incident, that person has to be prepared for the repercussions as well. That's why I always make sure. Are you ready for this to come out? The episode I did last week actually filmed it five or six weeks earlier. And he backed it. He was like, nah, never mind, I want to do it. And then we refilmed it and dropped it. So you have to be ready for the repercussions. So you know that. You're right, I can't. We need the. Part of our message is if you're gonna blow the whistle, man, do it now.

These kids are a direct representation of the single mothers that raised them. I've seen more masculinity at a bachelorette parties and sororities. Stop being a all your life. Take a day off.

You graduate high school, then you go on and do something different. You don't overly celebrate the bare minimum. You start celebrating when somebody gets, you know, if you're going to college route and you're going to be a lawyer, doctor, astronaut, whatever you're going to be. You start celebrating those accomplishments along the way. A wedding. You celebrate the wedding. If you want, you celebrate, but you don't celebrate the bare minimum. And I think that society has created this false narrative that, that like graduating high school is a huge event. No, I don't see a reason for a party. Listen, man, I, I know we. We just watched cop get run over, hit by a car. We just watched a shootout. We watched another cops have to take down guys they didn't know if they were involved in a shooting. We watched the Hillsborough breakdown. It's a serious job. And, And I'm not. You know what? I'm not even asking you for you to be robocop. I know it's your favorite movie. I'm not asking for that. But I'm asking.

I'm take. I'm asking to take the job pretty serious. Like it's a serious job. And when you're just dancing around like she is and all that stuff, it's. It's just, it's horrible. And then these companies and. And what it does is I'm not so mad much mad about the business side of it. If you can get, like I said, you want to be an only fans model, go do it. If you want to sell fee picks, go do it, don't do it. If that's what's going to make you money and you can live with yourself at the end of the day and that is important to yourself and you want to burn in hell, it's fine, then do it. But don't. What she does is creates the image that young girls look up to and go, oh well, she can do it. I can do it. And she can't do it. She failed. She's not a good cop. She couldn't do it. And but she's got other females now that maybe got into this job with, like, I'll just go do it for a little while, and then I'll get into this fitness program or I'll get into selling these products and then they get smoked, right? Unfortunately, one of the worst ones, Ella French, the video just came out this year. She got murdered in Chicago in a shootout. Horrible, horrible shooting. But Haley Mirabelli rode her death. Neither of them trained, neither were doing much. And it's unfortunate she died. I'm not that, but. But for somebody to then use that and use her name and not take the job serious after watching her co worker die and then use that job to make money and push products, and then every time she gets in a spot, she uses her name again. It is. I hope they burn in hell for using someone's death and capitalizing on that to make yourself look better or to sell products. It's a devil inside them. And I. I hate it, man. Hate it. I mean, how easy would it be? I lost a co worker if I was a piece of. How easy would it be for me to get on here every day and boohoo, Like, I'm sad, and I am sad, but how easy would it be to exploit that? I lost a co worker. I lost somebody I worked with 25 years. It's so tragic. But do you know, if you buy this sticker right here and you buy this, you know, it'll really help it. It's amazing. It's. That's exactly what they're doing. They're taking the tragedy of this job and using it to capitalize on personal gain. I hope they burn in hell.

So that's the end of the video. So this case ended up going and it is was went all the way to Supreme Court and they ruled that it is a first amendment right to flash your lights. There are certain states that that violate it. But it's daytime. He was flashing his high beam. So it was protected by first amendment and it was a fourth amendment violation. It was an unlawful seizure because he essentially arrested for laughing. The opinion contains language that's drawn attention because the court stated that in case centers on apparent retaliation from the Plano's first Amendment rights by flashing his lights and laughing while in a traffic stop. At that motion to dismiss stage. The the courts let this lawsuit go through. He ended up. They didn't just. He ended up settling out of court. But he got a pretty hefty payout. And that is. It's tyranny. That was a one I wanted to show like he left. He left flashed his lights at people driving because the cops were running radar. That dude took running radar so serious that he arrested a guy for laughing

at him and his feelings got hurt. Dude, that's some female right there. Dude, that is some female. Dude. We would bust, bro.

You let me lead the. Read the transcription of that bwc. I would have lost my life savings. Which isn't much that saying that was a female that did that.

So the interesting part somebody just commented that's almost as bad as the detaining people for civil rights civil matter. It is. That is the reason the first. I agree with the First Amendment auditors because that is the real life version of a first Amendment auditor. That guy flashed his lights because they were running radar. He did nothing wrong. He then was detained. He was then issued two citations. The first one is absolutely illegal because that's not what the statute says. The unsigned registration I guess is and it's arrestable. But then he laughs and the guy changes it. So to me the guy lied because he said you're getting a citation. Then he laughed. But that is the importance of Knowing the detention rules, the Constitution, and not letting yourself get emotionally hijacked and a guy laughing at you led you to. It didn't go to the Supreme Court. It went to the state court of appeals for the civil side. And they ruled that, you know, the state tried to get it thrown out, saying that it wasn't a violation. They ruled it was a First Amendment. It was. He. It was a First Amendment right to flash his lights. So that was not a violation. So then the whole traffic stops bad. And then that. They ruled that the arrest was retaliation, not a actual arrest, and they allowed it to go to trial, but they settled before the civil suit and the guy got a huge payout.

Yeah, they can't talk about how much because it was part of the agreement, but yeah, he got paid.
