I'm like five people I messaged five people that I had good relationships with. Like going in the comments and saying some and I'm like, these aren't people that I want to go publicly clap back at. I don't want to start a war with or I don't want to lose as acquaintances, friends, whatever. But I had to tell two out of three of them that I was like, I'm allowed. I don't know, maybe I told other I'm allowed to have an opinion, right? If this makes you so sad that I have an opinion that grown ass men with service dogs I don't agree with and I can't take them seriously. Makes you that mad, then you need to go get a service dog. I guess I, I like, maybe you're the person.

Like it's, it's been pretty entertaining. I could say, like I don't really engage a lot but I couldn't help to get in that comment section again because it Was again, I trolled a lot of people who have no idea that I'm part of the show.

And I can see the messages pop up. Obviously, we share everything when it comes to Instagram. I see all. We see each other's messages. So I saw some of it going down, but, yeah, I mean, the people. It's like, again, it's like seeing your favorite wrestler, like, out of the arena, like, at the grocery store and yelling at him because he bit Hulk Hogan's ear off. And you're like, bro, it's. It's entertainment, man.

Yeah. Like, you made this McMahon explode in his limousine.

Yeah, he died in his limousine because of you. And thank God he came back next week, or you would have been dead forever. But it's, you know, it's entertainment. Like, that's the only way I can explain it. You're very, very good at it.

You. Although I do believe you can't stand death with service dogs, I think you're being.

Well, it's just. Dude, it's. It's on, dude. I'm not hating on anybody. I'm not on anybody, but I'm allowed to have an opinion. And that's where this has gone in our sphere. We talk about the mainstream media a lot, you know, and everybody knows we're being lied to 24. 7. That's not a secret. But where are we at in 2026 right now is if you have an opposing opinion against the. The mob who can't form their own opinion. You are an uphill battle. And as the counterculture king, I cannot lead my troops into battle without being honest about service dogs. I'm not even being mean about it. I'm just saying, like, there's people out there that we laugh and joke at that say, I hate entire races of people. I hate them. And everyone's like, dude, that's funny.

I think you're battling a lot of dog people because it's Kind of like the dogs catching astray. And I think they're battling their inner love for dogs more than probably they care about.

When you talk to the guy at the Warrior foundation, you were explaining to him like, this has gotten so out of hand where the people that pro the the foundations that provide the dogs are upset, dog lovers are upset, and the vets that use them are pretty quiet. You know, there's some people out there that want to make content out of vet on vet hate. And you know, we're all putting each other down and I get that too. But I have a dog. I rescued him three years ago off the street, right? You have dogs like I love. I love my dog. I have nothing against dogs, and I think that dogs are a very useful tool as man's best friend that can be utilized for a lot of things to help cope and to help just us as run as a society. Dogs are used for tons of things. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna.

I'll spin an angle for you. I'll jump in. Let's see if somebody can hate me. You're right. Dogs I love my. My wife just commented that this Tyler Mike's addiction that like whatever she said about dog. I do. But. And I agree. If dogs have test. If dogs detect diabetes when you're having a blood sugar incident, seizures, that dog should be with you 24 hours a day, right? You should not go anywhere without the dog if it can detect something to save your life. But I will say. How do I say this? I'll be in tact like you. I love my dogs probably more than the average person. I'm probably borderline over the top, right? But I still go places without my dogs, right? I go to cruises. I go to Disney or Hard Rock. I go places, right? If you're that right that you can't leave the house without a dog, then. And then that would put you in a pretty wild category of like, you're pretty messed up, right? So that I just. Are there that many people that guess what I'm getting at that you're telling me you can't go to Publix for 20 minutes to grocery shop without your dog? You can't go to the mall without your dog. Maybe a few of them. Maybe legitimately, maybe, maybe, right? But I'm pretty bad about my dogs, dude. I. I don't. Well, you know, I spent like an hour in this morning with my dog in the vet. Like second time, like stressed. I'm stressed out. I'm not having A great day because he's got a stomach issue. But, like, it's my dog. I love him, but can't. If, if you're that bad that you can't even go to the store without your dog, then I. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know that there's that many people that have that level of ptsd, and if they do, is the dog really. Is that. Is that it?

It's almost like it's multifaceted here, Mike, because it is. Because I never once said people with ptsd. I'm talking about frauds now. I, I did in the original thing. I said frauds that claim war, ptsd. There's people out there right now, right now, that me and you are very, very, very, very, very close with that have gone through trauma, and it's taking years and years and years to get through and probably years off their life, and they're functioning without a dog. And I feel like it's the war vets that they. That's their identity. They're about 40 pounds overweight, maybe now. And, you know, they have not done anything with their life because they didn't like the military. They got out, they realized the realtor is my life. But it. There's tons of people out there that go through traumatic events that have to get over it. Nobody cares that cops have. Let's just use cops. Because me and you, what combined 30 years experience, you're the majority of it. Just easier to say that when all the, that first responders see, no one, no one can. No one cares that they have dogs. It's just these veterans that.

Here's another. I'm gonna do it again. Here's another unpopular opinion. If I walk up to you in a store right now, you're. You're Tyler, and I walk up to you and I'm. I see you in the, the yingling aisle and I say, I say, hey, bro, man, I was a cop, man. Or that I got ptsd, man. You're gonna be like, yeah, dude, like, what? But if I walk up to you with a dog and I show you, I'm like, bro, I got ptsd, man. Look at, look at, look at Rambo with me here, right? Are you gonna, like, oh, whoa, that guy must be really messed up then, right? You know what I'm saying? It's all, I, I. I hope everybody hates me, too. I mean, I'm not trying to make that happen, but I'm trying to be, like, realistic on what most people are going to look at when they first see. Like, I talked about yesterday before, I don't tell people what I did for a living. I can go on a cruise. I can go anywhere. And I would say I'm retired. What did you do? I worked for the county. Like, I don't. I don't. I. I don't care now. A lot of times, I can't hide my tattoo. And they're like, oh, were you in the military? And I, you know, I just have a GERONIMO, you know, versus the 509th. Because I like that unit. Like, so I'll answer that question. But when you lead with that, and I think that's what you were going with, in my opinion, is like, there's a lot of people that lead with their. Whatever they did or lead with. Like, bro, I got ptsd. And it's like, that's the same guy to me that goes, bro, I was attached to Delta. Or I. Bro, I. You know, bro, I was. You know, I was. I can't really tell you what I did, bro, but I was in. And I go back to. I don't have very many interactions of. Limited interactions with service dogs. I do know a lot of people have like. Like Citizen Dogs like that for seizures and all that stuff, but that's what service does. I have very little limited. And the one guy that sticks out to me is a complete fraud, in my opinion. And it's like, does that mean all of them are. No, that would be wrong to categorize everyone. But I can only reach from. Reach in a small drawer and pull out a few people that I know. And that dude is the same guy that tells you what he did. Every time he tells you how much he shoots, he tells you that he was a Delta and he was attached to this. I'm just like, all right, bro, like, go have PTSD over there. Like, yeah, I mean, I like your dog, but.

And. And. Hey, Eli, can you do me a favor? Can you go over there and. And mess with the focus on the camera? Do you know how to do that? I'm a little out of focus.

I mean, dude, like, if you're so up that you need a dog to walk around, like, that's telling me, like, dude, you can't function in society.

I guess I'm just under that because I would take my dog everywhere if I could, but I think it's more like. I don't know. I'm a little different than everybody else. But, yeah, like, I miss my dog, but I go do things. And you're right. I guess the. The answer would be if you're that shot out, like, to be man. But what does the dog do if it doesn't perform an actual function? Like I said, like, save your life, like, immediately. Then you're right. What does again?

There's tons of service out. They're seeing eye dogs. There's. Apparently there's low blood sugar dogs. I just saw there's seizure dogs, and somebody said they don't. I don't know. I don't know how any of them work, but people that have seizures can't function in society, right? People that have low. Like. But if the PTSD dogs is what. It just doesn't. Like, you can't. You can. I guess maybe it's. You can diagnose pretty easily. Seizures, low blood sugar. There's no frauding that. Like, there's no being a fraud in those categories. PTSD is. Is. We know, is a very common thing that's fraudulently claimed. And no one really cares because vets are like, go get your stuff, man. Go get your. Go get your rating. Go get it, man. Go get it. But it's like, now, like, how are you gonna prove a guy doesn't have ptsd? You can't. And then if. What if he. What if you attack the guy that does? So everybody just goes, you know what? We're not gonna talk about it. We're just gonna. And. And my Opinion just stands, dude. Like, call out those frauds, dude. Because you notice the only people in the comments section are dog lovers and people defending vets. I don't see anybody in there. I ask most people, do you have a service dog? And they're like, well, no. I'm like, well, then chill, dude. Yeah, I have a plethora of good. Of good comments.

It's a over. It's an overused thing, too. Not only vets, but I know people just slapped. Like somebody said in the comments, they just slapped the service dog thing on it. Nobody can ask you about it. I met a guy who takes his dog to every baseball game, and it's a little dog. It doesn't really bother anybody. It's well trained, but it's just his dog. And I know another person that, again, you can just send away, get a thing in the mail, put a service dog tag on it, and then they ask you what service it provides, and you can just say, it helps with PTSD or it helps with. You know, you can't ask any more questions. So.

And ptsd, mind you, PTSD in the. In the category of VA falls under I can't remember. It's like a umbrella, and it's like depression, and. And they all. Ptsd, depression, anxiety, and insomnia, they all are, like, coexist in this one thing. So just because somebody might get a lot for ptsd, they might have things that they. They got like insomnia, anxiety, depression. That goes under ptsd, if I remember correctly. So again, I'm not on dogs. I'm not on guys that need dogs to function. I. I've never met one that I've. Usually those people look at people like me and you and pop smoke the other way because they're like, these guys don't have dogs, and they did what I did, and they might make fun of me if I rely on a dog. And. And look at the long. The last thing I want to talk about is longevity. You're. Are you gonna get another one when that dog passes away? Are you gonna try to get over it? Because there's women getting over PTSD. There's women and children getting over PTSD. There's women children getting over PTSD. I'm not gonna hide. I'm not gonna sugarcoat that, dude. If you're so up as a war vet, all the generations of Warf fighters before you, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Korea, all of them didn't have PTSD. Service dogs and still came home with no benefits and worked in a factory until they died. But you need a service dog.

Yeah, I guess. Yeah, I guess my answer question would be, imagine the PTSD is going to happen when that dog dies. It's gonna be double, double ptsd. It's gonna be, you need two dogs. I don't know, I, I always try to think if human beings did what was right all the time, then we would not have to have these discussions. But we know people fabricate. We know people do things for the wrong reasons. We know people slap service dog vests on dogs just to be like, I'm taking my dog wherever I want to go. I would love to take my dog everywhere. I would. I love them, love them. I'm probably over the top, but at some point you have to be like, well, I gotta leave my home. And if, if, if there was a way to say for sure, like this person's not abusing the system, kind of like with workers comp and everything else we see. I guess. But I'm not an expert. They all hate you. So I'm gonna stay neutral and yeah,

Yeah, and again, it's a, it's, I will end it with this. It's my opinion. These are my platforms that I co own and I built. And as long as I don't say anything that my co owner disagrees with or impacts negatively, I can say what I want and you don't have to watch it. But that's not my opinion is this. And a billion people in the comments section saying, you're just shitty. How dare you do this? How dare you talk about it. Well then go away. We lost a couple followers on Instagram. A significant portion, but I call that trimming the fat. Because what we're trying to do is we're trying to create a real community, a broadcast of people that tune in, get to know each other. We engage with on here all the time. And we do have to trim some of the fat, the fat people in particular. And then maybe people that just disagree with us and can't allow someone to, to, to have their opinion. Because one of the people that I talked to in the comment section, we DM'd. I didn't want, I was like, hey man, I just kind of make sure you don't want to burn that bridge. He said, you know, how could you say something so Atlantis and blah, blah, blah and I was like, he's got Andy Frisella all over his stuff. I was on Andy's show. But even if it didn't, it's like who's brave enough? Or hooting it and brave who's. Who's doesn't give a enough to go. We're going to get some positive conversations because I also know you well enough that if somebody presented you with some Some data or some actual factual way to show you you were. Accept it. I think a DUI doesn't do anything to someone financially. He's got to worry about getting dropped, right? Stigma, negative stigma. But I don't know, maybe she. Maybe he was so intoxicated like she. He appeared to be that he was a danger to traffic. I don't know.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and CB sports analyst, a CBS sports analyst, Tony Roma was arrested on the evening of Thursday, July 23rd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on suspicion of OWI. It was a traffic stop around 6pm unpaid UN unsafe passing and then release body camera footage shows a deputy reporting that Romo had red glassy eyes, smelled of alcohol and had trouble balancing. Romo told the deputy he had zero drinks and was driving from the Wisconsin golf tournament to visit his grandparents. He later stated he had consumed one Corona. Romo repeatedly requested to call his attorney. Call his attorney. Before exiting his vehicle, he was placed in a handcuffs, transported to high rise building to a level station environment to undergo standardized standardized field sobriety tests. Investigators reported that he performed poorly of these exercises. During the test, Remo expressed difficulty with the physical instructions, noting that previously back surgeries impacted his movement. He consistently refused to submit a preliminary breath test and later in an event evidentiary breath test at the station, stating that multiple lawyers advise him to never do so. Tony, if you ever get a dui, don't do this.

Because of his refusals, deputies obtain a search warrant for mandatory blood draw to check his blood alcohol content. Romo booked in the Milwaukee County Jail and released later that night. Because of this. It's his first offense. Wisconsin law treats the primary charge as a civil traffic infraction rather than a criminal offense.

Yeah. However, he was also issued a formal citation for refusing to take an intoxication test. Due to the refusal, the Department of Transportation filed a notice of intent to revoke his license, putting his driving privileges at risk for up to a year. Romo has requested a hearing to challenge the citation and is scheduled to make his first court appearance Sept. 21. Professional fallout? Not much. Following the arrest, Romo withdrew from the MMP Group. Texas State Open golf tournament. Reports indicate that CBS Sports has no plans to terminate his 18 million dollar per year contract. Though Romo plans to maintain a low profile for the short term, which again I saw somewhere else that CBS was like, yeah, we advised him for right now you need to go just lay low, play the game. So it's not even close or it's close to football season, so maybe he'll. He'll be good to go. But here's the. Here's the thing I want to ask you. I've never seen this before and I don't know the legalities of it. I don't know the case laws behind it. Mike. But taking. Detaining somebody to take them to a safer place to get the probable cause you need, is that, is that a thing?

So you have enough prop. She has probable cause that there's a suspicion of DWI or DUI or owi, whatever it is. So based on the probable cause, you know, her observations, you have a right to detain him and therefore no one's going to be able to do roadsides like she's standing in the road right now. So, yeah, you're good to go on all that. The lawyer thing keeps coming up about asking for a lawyer. There are certain times you do not have a right to call your lawyer, actually ever. You can call them at the jail, but during the police encounter, there is no right to stop the police encounter and call your lawyer. You have the right to an attorney, which is in Miranda. You can invoke your right to an attorney and then they stop asking you questions. But you do not have a right to just call your attorney. Once you're booked in the jail, you have a right to call whoever you want. Obviously. The old one phone call in the movie, I get my phone call and all that.

I've never seen that ever, anywhere in real life. They usually just let you call until you handle your business. When you're in jail, even in jail, I see them getting multiple phone calls.

Nobody. The one phone call thing, I don't know where that came from. But you do not have a right to your attorney to be present or respond or call. You do have a right to an attorney. That's during your process.

Which for Everybody watching, that's. DUIs are very, very. They're misdemeanors, and apparently in Wisconsin, it's your first offense. It's a ticket, it sounds like, but it. DUIs are very, very, very hard to nail down and be proficient at because there's so many things that can be ripped open. And it's like, once you rip it, everything starts falling apart and Here, let me.

Let me be very clear. If she knows who this is, it's probably stressful. So let me give her that. The. When I comment and make these jokes, I know I'm doing it as. Because I've been on the other end of a deposition in these cases, and I know what the defense attorney is going to say. So I'm not just dunking on her completely for what she's doing. I can just hear a defense attorney going, do you think he understand what followed my stimulus met? Because that doesn't make much sense to me in that context. What she's trying to say is, I need you to follow the tip of my pen with your eyes only. Do not move your head side to side. Do you understand the instructions I've written? You know, and then you do the horizontal gaze of stagnant. She's trying to say that. But when you say something silly like follow the stimulus, that's probably the textbook you're going to have. You're going to create a stimulus through HGN by your. And they explain it scientifically to you. When you go to your DUI class or an fto, you don't relay that to somebody on the street. You have to have, like, a savvy way of. And you have to also make sure that they clearly understand what you're saying. Just like using 10 codes to 1023 there, sir. Like, what, what, what, what? Standby. Like, you're over.

And when they get at maximum deviation, where you can just see the pen or the stimulus out of the corner of your eye, your eyes will kind of flutter. And it's the easiest way. It is foolproof. You can't hide it. You can't eat a breath mint. You can't fake it. You will be able to do this very easily once you learn what you're looking for. The problem I have again is the way she's explaining. He has no idea what she's saying. Follow my stimulus. So that means if I'm him, I'm just going to turn like, that's what he's going to probably do. It has to be very clear. Instructions. Don't move your head. Use only your eyes. Sir, you're going to follow the tip. My pen. With just your eyes. Do you understand these instructions? And then when they start doing this, you're like, sir, I explained to you this is. This is.

In the corrections world, and that's not any reason in particular, just for the fact that we don't have any experience in it. And. And a lot of people, no one's ever really volunteered to kind of like, bring us in on it, so.

Well, you see why this is what I gotta do to talk about it. And.

Yeah, the Bureau of Prisons.

[Host Tyler]

That's got to be an absolute wonderful job.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah. Honestly, guys, I love my job. I love it. But right now, it's just. It's a debacle.

[Host Tyler]

What would you say is the biggest problem you're seeing? I mean, obviously law enforcement, command staff, we talk a lot about that, but what is the. What is it inside the Bureau of Prisons that you see as a problem?

[Guest Bam Bam]

So right now, staffing is our biggest problem. There we have a hundred and about 120 institutions nationwide. And the institutions that I'm around right now, we're probably like 60% staffed. And we get one to two buses of new inmates every week.

[Host Tyler]

But not one to two buses of new corrections officers a week.

[Guest Bam Bam]

No, it's getting. It's getting bad.

[Host Mike]

Are the. As a. How is payment? How is pay and things of that nature? Is it fair pay and fair benefits? I mean, it's the fed, so. Or is it. Is it not enough?

[Guest Bam Bam]

So used to be. And then as time goes on, pay freezes and, like, the pay compared to, like, local, like the state and stuff, we. We might make a dollar, $2 more an hour.

[Host Mike]

Okay. What made you get into corrections, if you don't mind me asking?

[Guest Bam Bam]

I started. Well, my whole family is kind of like military law enforcement, and I started at the state at the local jail, and then, you know, went to the feds after that. And it's just. I don't know, man. It's been something I've. I've done my whole life, and I just. I really. I really have enjoyed it.

[Host Tyler]

So you were state corrections and then fed. What. What is your. What's the glaring difference between the two that you see as far as how they operate?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Okay, so state to fed. State. The. The. It's a lot more hands on, as in us versus the inmates. And the reason that is is because there's so much turnover at the state, so many new inmates come in every day because it's as you know, you guys were cops, so you're bringing DUIs in. You're bringing, you know, people. It was more hands on. The feds, like, the. The Bureau of Prisons is hands on, but it's more inmate on inmate violence. And. But honestly, the. The biggest problem right now is drone drops.

[Host Tyler]

Really?

[Host Mike]

It's what?

[Host Tyler]

Drone drops?

The hell is that?

[Host Tyler]

Oh, you ain't. Oh, listen, listen.

So. Have you ever watched Mayor of Kingstown?

[Host Mike]

I know what it is. I've seen clips and stuff. I've never watched an episode.

So there's. The first episode is them with drones and just dropping stuff over the walls. I don't know what happened. Okay. It's every week there's a drone, and

[Host Mike]

it is a drone. Not trackable like they do. I'm assuming the drone just dies somewhere.

And so we're surrounded by. Most of our prisons are surrounded by woods. And these people, they. They can be up to a mile away. Drop this stuff in, get it back now. No, don't get me wrong. We've found several drones, several that have died and lost for seven. But. So the most recent. It's been a while ago, but we had one. I don't know if you've ever heard. So you got fentanyl, right? There's a new drug called W18, and W18 is. I think they said it's 100 times more powerful than fentanyl. And Narcan doesn't work on it.

[Host Tyler]

That sounds like a great drug.

[Host Mike]

Wow.

[Guest Bam Bam]

It's all over the prison.

[Eli]

Is.

[Host Mike]

Is it. Is it the same? Is it the same? Is it a. Is it opioid? Is it like heroin?

[Guest Bam Bam]

I think they. It comes in, like, a liquid where you can. Like, they get it in the mail, too. They soak papers. Like, they've even found legal documents completely soaked in this stuff. But. And then they'll, you know, give them the mail and stuff, and they. They just smoke the paper. But, like, it's. Yeah, it's like fentanyl, dude. Yeah.

[Host Mike]

So real quick.

[Host Tyler]

Yeah, I got it up. W18 is 100 times more potent than fentanyl and 10,000 times stronger than morphine. Its effects in humans are largely unknown, but animal studies indicating extreme potency, with even tiny amounts potentially causing severe toxicity. Exposure can lead to respiratory Depression, unresponsiveness and death. Yeah, Sounds like a. Sounds like a winner.

[Host Mike]

Wait, so you're telling me, as a society, we've created a drug to finally kill these people off and not be able to revive them. Them anymore?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah, but it won't kill them. It kills us.

[Host Mike]

Oh, I. Oh, yeah, because they're used to it. Yeah. Oh, so you guys get exposed. Okay, that's fair.

[Eli]

It came out in 1980.

[Host Mike]

Oh, really?

They've got. We've had several guys that like. So if you do a pat down or whatever, and this substance, they use their ID cards to like cut this stuff up sometimes when they finally dry it out. And if you take their ID card and you touch it without gloves, and they say latex doesn't work, but if you touch it, you're gone. Like, it's instant. I've had several buddies of mine pass out, throwing up, get sent to the hospital because of this.

[Eli]

Whoa.

[Host Mike]

And that's all. So, but you're saying it comes in multiple different ways, but the, the most effective way that they're getting these drugs is through drone drops?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yep.

[Eli]

Yeah.

[Host Mike]

Do you guys detect any of them or they are drone drops just successful based on, like, you people like, you see, you find out later on that it was a drone drop or are you guys catching these things in real time?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Well, we've done both. We can catch them in real time and. But normally what they do is they do it at night time. And at night time, you know, we're low staff, we're locked down, and there's not a lot of eyes. Luckily, we have perimeter vehicles that are constantly monitoring. But yeah, it's. If. If like nighttime you're. That you could easily make one pass in a mobile vehicle and then that thing's right behind you. Wouldn't even know it. But a lot of them are real janky.

[Eli]

Yeah.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Setups. So they sound like a weed eater,

[Host Mike]

you know, Is there really parts of a prison yard that aren't 100 monitored? Audio and video?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Oh, there's blind spots everywhere.

[Host Mike]

Really. I mean, I could imagine in prison's big. So huge.

[Host Tyler]

So we have a contributor that comes on who was in federal prison. He kind of talks about some of the things that go on in there. So can you, like, obviously one of the big things is they vet, I guess the other inmates. Vet inmates to make sure they're not snitches before. And then also sex offenders have a really tough time as somebody who's been in there. Can you cover both of those? What it's like for a snitch coming in and what it's like for a sexual deviant coming in.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Absolutely, Mike. It's so it's, it's, it all depends on what prison you're in. Because we have yards that are check in yards. We have yards that are sex offender yards. And like a few of the prisons I've been to, because I've been to several over the past, you know, whatever, almost 20 years. If, if you're on a, a yard that's not one of those, you're not going to have a good time. You're probably gonna get checked in. You'll get the option to check in to shoe special housing. And they, they do, a lot of the inmates do require you to produce paperwork. But you know, people fall through the cracks all the time because I know everybody wants to hear, you know, he's a child molester, he's going to get what he deserves. Not always.

[Host Mike]

We have one question that says what about the prison politics between the races and how do they deal with it? Eme, BGF area North, south, etc.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah.

[Host Mike]

Is that as, I mean is that like, is it depicted well in entertainment? I mean to be fair, that's the only thing I know about prison is what I've seen in TV shows and movies. Is it that political?

[Guest Bam Bam]

No idea what's going on. So it is political 100. But they all, if, if, if, if they want to deal with each other, they all deal with each other. But like, and of course they have like in the childhood, whatever they got their separate places they sit and all that. But honestly, this is going to offend some people, but the biggest gang in federal prison is the Muslims.

[Host Mike]

Oh no. Really?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah.

[Host Mike]

They don't want to tell you that. I'm surprised it's not the Jews.

[Guest Bam Bam]

No, there's not a lot really.

[Host Mike]

They're smart. They go to white, they go to white collar prison.

[Guest Bam Bam]

No, yeah, that is funny. But like you'll have, say if you have 300, you'll have 300 muzzles on a yard. You might have 10, 10 jewels.

[Eli]

Dude.

[Host Tyler]

Is it, is it like that's again the entertainment is the only thing I have in stories is is there a way as just say you did whatever you did, you murdered somebody in a parking lot, you got an argument, you go to federal prison, whatever it is, is there a way to go there and just do your time and be left alone? Or you. Or is it like they show on TV where you have to affiliate with something to survive?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Again, it depends on severity. Like if you're a medium, you're high penitentiaries, you're more like you want to have to go with your race.

[Eli]

Okay.

[Guest Bam Bam]

But like whether you putting in work or not, that's, you know, it's. I know tons of inmates that, they've came, they've done their time, they just want to, you know, they watch tv, they go to class, they just want to do what they want to do, go to visitation. And then, you know, it's.

[Host Tyler]

But in a higher, in a higher violent atmosphere, you're kind of stuck. You have to group together with your people or you're just, you're going to get picked off like a, like pretty much.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah.

[Host Tyler]

Gazelle on the Serengeti by a line or something. You just can't. You have to.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah.

[Host Tyler]

And you're saying lower, lower level ones, you can kind of. I mean, I know there's places are like work camps where they get to go away for the weekend and, and come back.

[Guest Bam Bam]

So the lowest we have, we have a camp, absolutely. But okay, they never leave for extended period of time. You know, they'll go, they might, we have like a town driver that might take inmates that are getting released to the local bus station or whatever like that.

[Host Tyler]

But those places are pretty safe. I mean, you're not going to really get in shanked in a low level camp, right? You're kind of like.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Not really.

[Narrator]

[Guest Bam Bam]

It can happen anywhere because these guys, a lot of these guys are still violent offenders. But by that time, by the time you get to a camp, you've, your points have came down and you've been in the system long enough, you're probably not going to do anything.

[Eli]

Is all the things we see with like cell phones and, and all that technology they're cooking like on grills and makes it. That all really happens?

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yes, yes. Yeah. The, the like I've been on Instagram before and hit a video and it's an actual cell phone video out of a sale onto the yard. And I'm like, I just, I just don't know how. I don't understand it.

[Host Tyler]

How do you guys deal with that? Like, to me that's like, that's the equivalent of like a drug dealer flexing in my neighborhood with his dope and guns and, you know, it's my job to go make sure he gets pulled over. How do do you guys look at that the same way like, you know that's going on in your jail. Is it like we got to find this guy, shake this guy down or is There. That kind of proactivity in there.

[Guest Bam Bam]

Yeah, we do have, like a. We have a special investigation unit and kind of like a gang unit. And they. They do their best, man. They're everyone I've been around. They. Those guys were on. On time because they'll. They. They keep up with inmate, like, money transactions, all that stuff. Yeah, it's good.

[Host Mike]

There's a good. We got some young people in the crowd. Would you suggest the Bureau of Prisons Of Corrections. Sorry. Federal Bureau of Corrections. Would you suggest that as a career to somebody young?

[Guest Bam Bam]

You're right, though. It is the Bureau of Prisons. Okay, see, here's the thing. Yes and no, because it has. It has. It has given me a good life. I'm not gonna lie. But if you. If you're weak and you're gonna come in weak, it's not the place for you, because you're just gonna put everybody else's life in danger.

[Host Mike]

What if. What if somebody relies on a service dog to function throughout the day? They. No. Okay, man.

[Guest Bam Bam]

I don't think that's gonna fly. Now. If the inmates wanted a service dog, they'd give them one.

[Host Mike]

Oh, really?

Oh, yeah. Oh, okay. Here. I'll blow your mind. So we have our director, and we have our deputy director. What would you guys say if they hired a sheriff? Mike, that was a former convicted felon?

But at the same time, when you're working multiple 16 hour days and you're, you're, you're mandated like you're supposed to be there for eight hours a day, you get mandated like three, four or five times a week and there's no recovery like, like on the weekends, Weekends were basically locked down the whole time because there's not enough staff to let the inmates out of their cells.

Well, and that's another thing is everybody thinks that they're locked down 237 and all this stuff they get out for one hour. No federal prison. They're out all day from 6:30 till 9:00 o' clock at night.

I would think, you know, and we talk. You do listen because, you know, I talk about, we talk about fitness stand. I would think the jail, inside the jail would. I would. If I were in charge, I would raise that fitness standard almost. That's got to be up there. Probably above patrol, man. Like you're, you're now relying on. You have no citizens that can run up and help you. What's on the street. You can be lucky. You can have a citizen come out. You can do. You're in the jail. You're talking massively outnumbered, relying on two. What is it? Two, three cops per, like hundred, probably more.

You got one. So yeah, 12 housing units, you got one per 130.

And like, if you say they hit a body alarm, your body alarm goes off. You're talking like there's parts of the prison. You could be running 400 yards in the drop of a hat and still be able to do something when you get there.

You can't, you can't leave. If you hit a body alarm, you can't leave your housing unit. You're. You're relying on other staff, like compound officers, guards and. Or service those guys. You couldn't pay me half a million dollars to do that. I wouldn't do it for half a million. I wouldn't do it.

When they're just trying to get pander to people. I literally, I could not do jail, corrections, prison. And I know just like I just like I know I could not do construction. Like, I'm just not built for it. I'm more of a people person and I'm good with my verbal judo. And out on the streets where I'm not confined, I really don't think I could do that job. And you know, corrections gets a bad rap in, in our community. I, I don't know why. I've always respected, especially when a sheriff's office runs it, that that working relationship that you have. I think it, I've never, I've always looked at them like I look at firefighters. Like it's the same thing, just different. And I've always, never understood and everybody that wants to on corrections at all, I go, bro, you couldn't last a second in there, dude.

You could tell you the two places I looked in law enforcement is corrections and dispatch.

Jobs I would never want to do and I did dispatch for a while. It's a miserable job. Everything goes wrong. You have to do. No cop wants to go in there and do it. And I think it's the same as corrections. No norm, like no road guy is going to go, yeah, let me go work in the jail. And I'm not saying that because it's a bad place where I just like what Tyler just said to me. It's just you guys have a miserable, difficult job. You're dealing with people already convicted. There's no incentive for them to behave. They're there for years and years anyway. It's just I, I envy you guys, man. That's, that's a tough job. And to be that down manpower and, and to be that over outnumbered is even worse. I mean, I appreciate it.

Like honestly, like, like you talking about the verbal judo when it comes to. You just got to know how to like you, you get, you give respect if you get respect and that's how it's always been. These guys, a lot of these guys, as long as you treat them like, like you, you give them what they have coming and that's it, you know, if you like, it's not that bad.

I get it. I'm sure it's a lot like dealing with you Know, there's certain communities where you have to just deal a little differently. If you have an ego or whatever, they're gonna. I get what you're saying. There's. I guess. I guess even though they're inmates, they still run on respect, as far as most of them will run on respect. And not a bully or not somebody that's trying to throw their weight around and act like a. And I would imagine that, again, like, Tyler just said verbal judo, and you did as well. Like, that's got to go a lot further in there because, you know, any given moment, a hundred people, there's. I don't care what Jiu Jitsu you do or what even what weapon you have, you are never going to beat 100 people ever.

So we just recently, I think within the last 2013, we had a guy killed in USB Canaan, Eric Williams. He was beat to death by, I think it was a Mexican mafia. And after that is when we got OC and then something else happened. And then in 2019, we finally got stab vests. And, you know, it always takes someone to get hurt or killed for us to get something.

Talk about, talk about mental health and like physical health. I mean that's just. Actually, thank you.

5 o' clock in the morning on March 15, 2024, a New Mexico State Police trooper pulls behind an apparent broken down vehicle to assist. Unbeknownst to the trooper, the man he will soon speak to has just gone on a rampant crime spree. Although this footage is taken in New Mexico, Jeremy Alexander Smith began his crime spree 1500 miles away in Marion County, South Carolina. There, Jeremy allegedly kidnapped a woman named Phoenicia Machado, 4, taking her hostage after stealing not just her vehicle, but her roommate's handgun. This is a repeated offense for Jeremy, as his past charges include taking hostages and rioting in jail, burglary, breaking and entering, armed robbery, resisting and evading police, auto theft and shooting at or from a motor vehicle. The way I understand, like I told you, the weird connection was my groomer who's coming the 11th to groom all three dogs and she said prepare for me to be there from about 12 hours to groom three golden doodles. But they. I don't know the exact story, but somehow the person lost their house and they had. The parents of this dog and his brother were four big golden doodles, very well kept and they could not keep them. They ended up separated and this dog just happened to be on a website that my wife commented and asked how big it was. And from that I slithered in, worked out the arrangements to go meet the dog without her knowing, then presented it to her. And just like any good personal husband that's, you know, knows what to do once she saw the dog, it was game over.

So does he get along with your other dogs?

Yeah, so that. So the. The also what? This is a southern doodle rescue. I believe it's called part of. When they're in foster they actually train them. So he's been through eight, five weeks now.

Yeah. Here's the problem with doodles because you did Mention they're expensive. What, these. It's not. It's Golden Rescue Southern. I'm sorry. Golden Rescue South Florida. What they do in other states, and it pisses me off, is the Mills. The Doodle Mills, essentially, will find a dog that's been like this dog and go adopt it immediately for. I think it cost me $600 to adopt it. They'll turn around and flip that dog for 2500 bucks.

I paid $2,000, I think, for Charlie and Murphy, that were from a. A breeder in South Carolina, and that was. You know, that's a going rate. But what they'll do is they'll rescue, and then they'll turn around and flip it because, you know, I could be a piece of. Go adopt this dog for 600 and turn around and sell them for 3,000, which I don't like, but he fits in well. Three visits. Two. One with just us, two with the dogs that was in our house. They got along great, and we'll pick them up Sunday. So I'm excited about that. And then the other dog on the right has been having explosive diarrhea. It's been amazing the last 12 hours.
