What's up? $10 for Justin because he looks 12, but it's actually cool. 43 years old. Even though I'm kind of young, I moisturize, so. All right, all right, we'll get to it. I'll try to pay attention for super chats for you guys. We are at three so far and there's a little note for it. So as I said, Justin from Donut Shop podcast, the boys will be back tomorrow hopefully. And let's, let's get into it. So let's start with the thumbnail. The thumbnail was Luigi Mangione. You all remember that, right? So we got Luigi Mangioni. The judge has suppressed some key evidence. So let's see. Pretty interesting development in the Luigi Mangioni case. The guy accused of killing United Healthcare CEO. Let me throw his little graphic up there. UnitedHealthcare CEO. Back in December of 2024, a New York judge ruled that some of the evidence recovered from Mangione's backpack is going to be excluded. Now at first glance, the people here and immediately think, oh, this case is going to fall apart. We're going to lose it. This guy's going to get away with murder. But legally speaking, that's not really what happened here for anybody that's followed it closely. He was arrested after a five day manhunt. Police eventually located him at a McDonald's of all places in Altoon, Pennsylvania. Changed the photo there of our guy getting, getting caught. And investors say investigators say they recovered a backpack containing a notebook, a silencer and or suppressor and a 3D printed handgun. Prosecutors also say they have sev surveillance footage and DNA evidence tying him to the case. So it sounds pretty solid, wouldn't you think? Defense argued two major things. First, they claim that the backpack search itself violated the fourth amendment because it was done without a warrant. They're always going to do this when they kind of do like a motion to suppress before the trial. They're going to try and suppress any evidence or any information that you got or that the police got. So it's important officers out there to make sure you cross your T's and dot your eyes. Second, they argued Mangione's, that he made statements to investigators before properly being advised of his Miranda rights. Listen, guys, yeah, okay, he's, he's in custody, he's under arrest. Unlike the TV show, you don't have to read him his Miranda rights as soon as you place the handcuffs on him. If you're not asking him any questions that could incriminate him, then let him go. If he wants to get in the car and he wants to chit chat and talk, as long as you're not asking him questions that could incriminate him and stuff like that, then just let him, let him sing. Once you're, once you're going to actually ask him questions about the, the crime and his involvement and stuff, then, then you read them as Miranda rights. So, and this is where it gets important from a, from a law enforcement and a constitutional standpoint, the judge partially agreed with the defense, meaning that some evidence or potentially all statements won't be allowed in front of the jury. And that doesn't mean that the judge declared him innocent. It simply means that the court believes that certain evidence may have been obtained improperly. So they didn't do the best job when they picked him up. This is one of those moments where criminal procedure becomes just as important as actual allegations. Because in America, courts aren't only deciding whether someone may have committed a crime. They're also deciding whether the investigators followed the constitutional rules while building their case against them. And honestly, this is something cops and investigators and prosecutors deal with all the time. A strong case can still take damage if procedures aren't followed correctly during detention, questions, questioning, and searches. So now, despite the ruling, it's prosecutors still appear confident. They reportedly still have surveillance evidence, the, the videos that we saw of him shooting the guy, DNA evidence, and multiple other pieces tying Mangione to the homicide. So this doesn't look like it's a dismissal situation. It's just more the prosecutor losing a few, few tools from the toolbox before trial starts. Other things worth mention mentioning is how high profile cases become. Almost immediately, you've got the killing of a major healthcare executive, a nationwide media blitz, a manhunt, allegations involving a 3D printed gun. Holy crap. And now a constitutional question about police procedure. It's basically every major criminal justice debate rolled into one. These motions to suppress rulings are always fascinating because they show the tension between aggressive policing and Constitutional safeguards. So things that protect us. Kind of like our Miranda rights investigation. Investigators are under nor enormous pressure in homicide cases such as this. So did they do their job right? Yeah, I mean they got this guy off the streets. But you know, going through the bag, other than just a cursory search to secure any weapons or anything, like make sure there's not a bomb in there and then otherwise don't label that as a search. That was just, that was just cursory going through to make sure that there was nothing to, to harm anybody and then take it into evidence, get their warrant, all that kind of stuff say what they believe is in there. Obviously his backpack is going to be going to have fruits of the crime in it because it's what he used to, to get the heck out of there and to hide. So pretty, pretty crazy. But the case dead per se. It's, it's not going, it's not, you know, going bye bye. We, you know, he's, he's still going on trial. He's still most likely gonna be, you know, held accountable for what they saw on video, him shooting him and stuff like that. So I'm not too worried about it. But you know, we got to make sure that we're, we're doing our job. When we're, you know, arrested people, we're documenting it properly. We can't just rely on these body cams to do, you know, all that kind of, you know, hard work for us. You know, we still got to write, we still got to be able to explain exactly what's going on after we, after we make that arrest. So he is not free. So let's, let me just go back. I just, I see this chat just going crazy. It's, it's, it's hard like when I'm on, when I'm in the studio and I'm not like a host or even a co host, I, it's, you know, I don't, I don't notice it as much, but it's good to see some of you in here. Clint, what's up? Catching alive. Nice to see Clint back in the thing, back in the swing of things. Aqua Pong, what's up? Copville would like to get on. He's back from Boston. Yep. So we got like three hours of sleep. Drove to see Mishman and his squad. Good. I'm glad you guys got to see them. So I hope, I hope there's some photographs to document. Said things. Liz, what's up? Liz is in here. Mark. So yeah, you guys, everybody's in here. So it's basically just everybody greeting each other and saying, what's up? So it's, it's a family reunion in the chat. I want to say thanks to everybody for, for, for catching the show. Throw a little ticker down there at the bottom. Where's Nick? That's what we want to know. Where is Nick? All right, now let's get on to the next one. What do we got here? Oh, well, yes, we can't forget yesterday, some pretty crazy stuff came out or happened over in San Diego. Terribly tragic situation at a mosque, at an Islamic center that also has a school involved in the Islamic center. So try so tragic. So I'm gonna kind of read some of this stuff. Tragic and disturbing attack unfolded today or yesterday in. Let me get this one off. I'm already messing up there. All right. So it unfolded in San Diego, California. Authorities are now investigating it as a potential hate crime. According to investigators, the violence began hours before the shooting itself. At approximately 9:24am San Diego time in California, San Diego PD received a call regarding a juvenile runaway. During the course of multiple conversations with the officers, the mother of the juvenile reportedly told police that she believed her son was suicidal. She's also informed. She also informed them that several firearms were missing from the home. I mean, that's like a huge red flag, like when that happens because juveniles run away, but when they run away and they're suicidal, it becomes like a serious incident. We, we do a whole lot more than just your basic juvenile runaway. And, and then with firearms involved, that's going to be even more freaking crazy. And then her vehicle. So the kid's missing, her fire. Some firearms. Some firearms are missing. And a vehicle like, that's freaking. So she told investigators that her son was accompanied by a young male who was reportedly dressed in camouflage. Okay, so I wear camouflage. Doesn't mean I'm going to shoot anything up. But still pretty crazy. At that point, law enforcement began escalating the situation. Good. Police used alprs, or automated license plate readers. So, you know, it gets into the conversation about, you know, big brothers watching us with these license plate readers and stuff. But I can tell you we use them a lot in investigations like this, especially like this, that are like real time things going on. Like if you can get multiple ones of those to show, like the blip and the direction that that vehicle's going in, it's, it's huge. So that we're not looking for this needle in a haystack type situation. Along with patrol officers Surrounding Agen agency and surrounding agencies. They tried to locate the vehicle before anything happened. Investigators later said that the vehicle triggered ALPRS near the Fashion Valley area, which is like, kind of like a shopping mall area, so causing officers to respond out there out of concern that the suspects may be targeting a crowded public location. Police also received information suggesting one of the suspects had ties to Madison High School. So then that's going to prompt San Diego Unified Police Department to do increased security around the schools. Like we used to get this stuff all the time on the road where like the night prior some kids said some stupid stuff on social media. So we're not locking down schools, but we've got three, four, five extra police officers out there on the road in front of things like the high schools, the middle schools and then like roving the elementary schools. Like my, my city I used to work for had 13 schools in just in the city that were just public schools. We're not talking the charter school we also had, which I'll talk about kind of after I report this. We had a mosque similar to this that had its own school. So it's, it's pretty tragic and crazy. Authorities later clarified that the individual was actually enrolled at an online virtual program and was not actively attending classes on that campus. Then two hours later at 11:42am the situation turned deadly. Multiple 911 calls came in reporting an active shooter at the Islamic center of San Diego and Claremont. Officers responded immediately to the Moss complex, which also housed a school known as Bright Horizon Academy. When officers arrived, they found three adult male victims shot and killed outside the center. Among the victims was a security guard who is now. Change this out. Security guard who is now being credited with preventing an even larger massacre. According to community leaders and investigators that the guard reportedly warned staff and teachers that lock to lock classroom doors before he was killed, potentially saving the lives of approximately 200 children inside the school portion of the complex. Authorities say that the two suspects, ages 17 and 18, were later found dead inside a nearby vehicle from what investigators believe were self inflicted gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. Enduring subsequent searches, investigators reportedly recovered writings and materials containing anti Islamic rhetoric and hate filled language. Because of the evidence, the San Diego Police Chief, Scott Wall stated publicly that law enforcement is treating the case as a crime, as a hate crime. While the investigation continues, the FBI has also joined the case and has a tip line established for it. So it's just super, you know, super crazy, tragic. Obviously we, you know, I'm in Broward County, I'm in South Florida. There was a, you know, there's a benchmark in south Florida as well as much, much of policing in general, but definitely in the state of Florida. Uh, Marjorie Stoneman Douglas. Uh, so 17 people were killed that day at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas. And it was, it was super tragic, but it was one of those like benchmarks that kind of changes and kind of course corrects law enforcement in, in what we were doing and what's going on. Some of these schools like these, like these mosques and stuff didn't have. Now now in the state of Florida they're called guardians or private security. So this, this gentleman looked like he was a private security officer. California is, is pretty well known for having private security, armed security and a lot of places that even patrol neighbo neighborhoods, which seems odd to me. But it, that's California versus Florida. They, but the, the mosque that was in my city, they have private security guard. And when I was in community policing I used to have to go out there and do sort of just like some, some community outreach but some teaching or messaging to the students at the, at the mosque, talking to them about law enforcement and then about safety and everything. And so I would talk to their. Because their security guy was there doing their thing. And it's, and it's a school just like, just like how daycares have jewelry buzzers at the front doors usually at least in south, in south Florida and a lot of schools nowadays and, and it's sad that it does happen but you just look at the crazy stuff that's happening where you know, this, these kids. I couldn't find any reports or any news about their, their mental health. You know, these, these two kids, these two utes and, and what they're, what they were into or what their deal was and why they were you know, decided to do this. You know, they like it said in the news report that I read there was anti Islamic writings in a journal about it. So that definitely to me speaks to what their, you know, what their mentality was or what they're thinking on that, that, on that situation. But you know, this guy must have been, you know, out front, you know, doing his doing his duty, doing what he was supposed to be doing. And he died protecting those kids which, and, and the people inside that school, you know, it'll be nice to know if he got around or two off to, you know, maybe injure these guys. But part of that, part of that shows, you know, some of the training when we go through some of these trainings as law enforcement officers, you know, with active shooters in general. Just a response compared to the one in Texas where they, where they just sit quietly and for, for. For long periods of time and waited till this guy showed himself, you know, this security guard actually presenting himself. And, and, and I'm assuming going after the threat or going at these kids caused them to change their mind. They. There was no reports of them trying to breach the doors or circle around the school and stuff like that. They must have gone back to a car and, and took their lives. And so that's, you know, similar to like GB mentions Columbine, copycats, you know, like that type of thing. Columbine, I'm not 100 familiar because I was still in high school at the time, but Columbine, once, once the cops really started, you know, getting into it or getting into schools and stuff like that, these kids, like, they committed suicide. They, they. They got out of, you know, they, they killed themselves. You know, Broward County, He. He ended up dropping everything and slipping out with the students on evacuation. So there's, there's always, there's different methods, but one of the main things that, that we know is once these people are presented and we train as law enforcement is once these people are presented with some type of resistance either from law enforcement or by like a school security, they may give up. Like, just give up and, and say, you know, my bad. Whatever the. They say, because they're. They're kind of up or, or they kill themselves. So what do we got here? What do we got here, Mark? Have the big, big store media outlets started pointing fingers at each other yet? I don't know. I don't know about that one. I was, I was digging in, trying to do. Trying to do some good research to write up that, that, that report that I read you guys, but, you know, that's, that's. That's the biggest thing for law enforcement is we got to get our. Together and we got to get in there. You know, it said that pretty soon after those reports, I mean, because thankfully law enforcement was already out in force. You had all hands on deck searching for these kids in the area. So as soon as that first 911 calls, that. That butt puckers up and it's like, all right, we're going, you know, code three. Off we are to the school. Get in there and get ready. As you see in this picture, you've got bearcats all on scene. You know, those guys, those. They were definitely, you know, trying to hit it hard. Those SWAT team guys were, were already activated. I saw some Videos of, of all the kids and everybody getting escorted off. All these schools have evacuation procedures in place. You know, this, this guard, the, you know, provided the alert that I'm sure that the school already had to. To do a lockdown. The doors already should have been locked because Uvalde showed us that if you prop a door gives somebody an opportunity to come in. So all these schools, the exterior doors need to be locked. I know the, the, the mosque that was in my city that had a school, those doors were locked. You were checked in by security. You, you basically went through a gate and security was right there. So there was. Unless you were jumping fences or something like that, you know, so, so, yeah, so respect on that security officer, you know, thank you for laying your life down for these kids. And, you know, I, I don't know who the other two individuals were that were killed. I mean, although, although, it could be one of those things where in the news report they list them as three people, maybe security guy and the two shooters. So it could have been that, you know, but otherwise it would have been, so they said three adults. So it could have been school staff, two school staff members, but it may have actually been those two kids and, and the security guy. So, you know, you know, it's there, it's, it's going to be a tough, it's gonna be a tough few weeks and time for, for them, for sure. And it's, it's, it's, you know, it's a tough time. I live in South Florida and we still, you know, deal with Marjorie Silman Douglas conversations all the time. Especially, especially when you're around schools. It changes. It changes for sure. What do we got, Joe? I install commercial windows and doors for a living, work at a lot of schools. It's amazing how many times the kids will try to open a door for me to get into the school. It is, it is, it's. It's crazy that happens, you know, I mean, people just try to be nice and stuff, and, and they, they almost feel like they're going to be rude if they're like, I don't know who this guy is. Like, pull that door shut. You know, don't let him in. Let an adult buzz him in. It's, it's tough and it's sad that in, in today's society, you know, just common courtesy may end up getting, you know, allowing something crazy. And I know some of our school resource officers, we had one that was a float, and so he used to do kind of like, almost like tests for These schools where he, he'd just go around and he would, you know, see what's going on, or he'd get, you know, one of the plainclothes detectives. I know I did it when I was an sro. We used to have to do. It was called Code Red when I was in it. And we would have to do at least one Code Red drill a year. So a lockdown drill nowadays, and we had to do it with the, the county personnel, and they had to be there. And so I would bring in some of our plainclothes detectives, and I'd be like, look, you can get into the front office without being buzzed. To get past the front office, there was another door. You had to be buzzed in. I go, just come on in. And, you know, I gave them like, sort of a script. Like they were coming in, they wanted to pull their kid and all this stuff. And they'd be talking at a desk that was right near that second door. And the one guy, he, he bolted in. And so one of the front desk clerks, she was an army vet, you know, she's a bigger lady, but she was an army vet. And she took off running. And she came running after, went running after him. She was on the radio, you know, Officer J. Officer J. And I was like, I was damn proud of her, you know, because she didn't know who this guy was. The, the story that we gave was that he was coming to pick up his kid. He was going through a divorce. They obviously had no paperwork on him because he wasn't really a parent, but I gave him a student'. And, and so they, they were looking through the paperwork to try and clarify if he was allowed to even be in there. And I wasn't, I didn't always, like, sit in the front office. I'd be around in the school doing stuff. And so she came, she came on yelling for Officer J, and she gave out his location stuff. So she did a good job. You know, I, you know, I talked to her, obviously, after, and I was like, I appreciate everything you did. We all do. You never know what's going to happen. This was pre Stoneman Douglas, but it was, it was a pretty, you know, it was a pretty eye opening, you know, and the biggest thing about running some of those drills is front office staff is sometimes like old ladies. And I don't want to give anybody heart attacks and stuff like that. So, you know, kind of, kind of scary if, if, if you cause another medical emergency to your, to your school staff. But, you know, they, they need to have some of this stuff in the back of their minds to, you know, be prepared because you never know when, you know, this, this wasn't something that, that they knew about. This was a situation where a mentally ill person most likely just went to it. You know, sometimes if you have like an employee that gets fired and they're pissed off and they start running their mouth and saying they're going to come back and shoot the place up, cops will get called about that sort of stuff. But it, you know, that there was no warning for this other than a general thing and they're not going to put out like a news bulletin saying we got two possible crazy kids with guns running around. You know, I mean, this is California. There's probably a few crazy kids running around. So, yeah, so it's, you know, tragic and all that kind of stuff. Appreciate, appreciate all you guys in the chat running through. Yep. Hate crime in California for sure. Mark asked earlier about the Luigi Mangioni stuff. Justin, if that guy's found guilty, is it a life sentence? It, it really depends. It depends on the Luigi Mangioni thing. You know, will he go for some sort of plea bargain? That, that's still yet to be seen on a lot of that stuff. So, you know, who, who really knows what. We'll see. So. Yes, security officer. One brave dude. Thank you. Moon Cricket Ultra. Yeah, they. Mark asks, they have school police officers in Florida. Yeah, you like in my city, we had a police officer in every school. That mosque has a, a security officer. All schools have to either have then maybe like a, a guardian, which is another like a security officer. They go through a course and they are armed and carry. And then there's a Catholic school, a small Catholic school in my city that uses a police detail. They have one of our police officers works a detail each day. So it's different officers. So you lose sort of the, the, the knowledge of the school. But. Excuse me. A lot of times it is the same officers that'll work. You know, you have a pool of maybe five that'll work that detail a lot and then sometimes an odd person will work it. But we have a police officer at that school. So you know those schools that have larger numbers of students beyond daycares, you know, we just, we just don't have enough cops to, to monitor daycares and do all that kind of stuff. They've got to do their own security. Security precautions, security cameras, jeweler doorbells, that kind of stuff to prevent people from, from getting in there and in just, you know, dialing 911. And then. And then us for police officers. We just, we know wherever our schools are in our zones, hopefully know the layout well and know how to get there quick. And, and then. And then we know we got to get to work because we got to either rescue people, take out a bad guy, all that kind of stuff. So. Yes. Has anyone checked on David, David Hogue? I know this is going to be tough on him. Yeah, he's. He's probably standing outside with a. With a sign or something like that. Right. All right, let's move on to the next one. Trying to determine where, you know, Tyler said I only really had to do an hour or the 51 minutes. We'll see. We'll see where this gets us. Us. We'll see. We'll see where the show gets us. But. But let's. Let's keep on cooking. I think it's going well. Here's one that I thought was quite interesting. A reinstatement after refusing the jab. I. I am a pure blood myself, but I've definitely thought about this kind of stuff. So let's, let's take a walk, watch. I do have a video for this one. Let's take a watch and see what our illustrious Secretary of War has to say.
D
Date to force military service members to take the COVID 19 vaccine.
C
Oh, I'm already screwing things up. Can't stack these. These overlay or these videos or these additions don't.
D
Date to force military service members to take the COVID 19 vaccine. Was wrongfully and unlawfully awfully applied because the Biden Pentagon refused to grant exemptions for certain medical and faith reasons, not to mention it was an experimental vaccine. As a result, many service members and their families suffered severe hardship, and the Department lost trust with the American people. President Trump's executive order on this topic stated that the military unjustly discharged those who refused the vaccine, regardless of their conscience or the years of service given to our nation. He called this what it, an unfair, overly broad and completely unnecessary burden on our warriors. Under the leadership of President Trump, the War Department is committed to doing everything we can to make it right. As you know, we want warriors of conscience, warriors who made a principled stand for truth.
B
Truth.
D
We want them back in our ranks as soon as possible. We are welcoming back to service patriots who refused the COVID 19 vaccine and were discharged for that reason. If that is you and you still have the desire to once again wear the cloth of our nation, we are ready to reinstate you with.
C
Yeah. So thank you very much, Mr. Secretary, for calling in to the. The. The broadcast. That's probably the first time that we've had the Secretary of War on the broadcast. And I appreciate you for coming on, sir. Yeah. So Kenny Kelly, a CW5, which in my readings is otherwise known as a unicorn in itself. So unicorn has been brought back into the United States Army. One of my best friends from high school is a CW5. Huge respect to him. Receive, you know, reaching that rank, doing good work. Love you, Tommy. And. But. But. Yeah, so. So this guy refused to, as. As the secretary was saying, refused to take the jab back in 2022 and was, you know, pushed out, which. Which is kind of crazy. You know, we've got people that volunteer for the military that want to get in, and you want to give them this. This. This, you know, new set. I know you guys are. Are. Are stuck with a whole lot of experimental medications in. In the beginning when you. When you start. But, you know, to. To. To come in to anybody and force them to have to take this. We talked about this, and I'm gonna go back to my experience. We talked about this during COVID and during that time, and there was a lot of conversation in my police department and even locally about us being forced to have to take the jab, you know, within the police department. So. Oh, yes. All right. Thank you, Clint. Very, very true. The CW5 is like the emperor's royal guard, those red cloaked, uh, super warriors that help guard the emperor. Uh, so, yes, we did get a Star wars reference in here. Thank you, buddy. Uh, but we talked about this, you know, in 2020, 2021, 2022, during the COVID era with my police department. And it was. And it was kind of freaky because you had big ones like NYPD forcing people to, you know, have to. Have to get the vaccine or have to get the jab. I don't know what gets US canceled on YouTube if we say that, you know, forcing people to have to get that. So, you know, I had that question with my wife, you know, like, hey, listen, 2022, I was 15 years on. 15 years on. So I was like, man, you know, it's. It's been a nice career. You know, do I want to take this? Especially at the time when they were for. When. When places. Granted, like, I. Like I mentioned before, I live in the free state of Florida, so we didn't really deal with that that much in Florida anyways. There wasn't really any agencies that were forcing our officers to get. Get the job lab. But you know, we're looking at stuff like New York and everything and different agencies and then the military saying, you had to do it. So all it takes is one chief that says, you know what, I'm gonna placate. And I'm in Broward county, which is a very blue. Which is pretty much just a blue county. It's a blue county to. To have to take it. So if, if. If we, you know, if they wanted to impress any of our electeds that, you know, want us, you know, stand on 10 toes about that kind of, you know, our. Our chief probably would have said, yeah, yeah, sure, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're gonna make them all have to do it. And, you know, my question was like, you know, do I. Do I, you know, push that 15 years aside, forego. Get into my pension, which needed to get to 20 years, which was just last December, or, or do I just take it? And, you know, nowadays probably we end up with some type of a heart arrhythmia or something like that. So I, My wife and I said, like, yeah, let's not. She. She actually did it. Her. She worked at a hospital, and so hospitals were. Were definitely making you have to do it. And she was able to find an exemption, and she got a hold of that exemption and didn't end up having to take it. So we. We both were able to skate by without having to. But, you know, there's. There's definitely police officers, like in, like nypd, they got pushed out. I think some of them are. Are getting the opportunity to get their jobs back and, and rejoin at the same status, all that kind of stuff. So same thing goes. Same thing goes with. With Chief Warrant Officer Kelly. He's getting back his retirement. He's getting back his years. He's getting back, you know, all of his merit. It just so happens that his two sons are in two other branches of the military, so he's actually getting to serve together with his sons, you know, is he's getting to serve this country at the same time. And as the secretary said, you know, anyone willing to put on that cloth of the United States, you know, should. Should have the right to make that choice. So. So, you know, so, yeah, big up to him. And congratulations, Chief Warrant Officer Kelly. Let me. Let's. Let's go through this a little bit and what do we got here? Copville says my captain gave me a special. A special jab. Special type of jab. Whale team. Whale team one. What's up? Was voluntold by the sheriff or no job that Sucks. That sucks. Clint. I got the anthrax vaccine back in the day, then became allergic to shellfish for 10 years. No shrimpies now. I'm not. That's weird. Not sure if it's connected. That's super weird, dude. It's my boy Joe.
B
He.
C
He used to eat the. Out of shrimp. Not the actual, but. But figuratively speaking. Eat a lot of shrimp. And he just started like, eventually, like, getting a little itchy, and he'd just go, it, no, I'm not. I'm not allergic to shrimp. And his wife's a nurse, and she'd be like, yo, you're. You must be allergic to these shrimp. And so he went on. He went on a cruise and went ham at the buffet on shrimp. And like, he's having tough times. So he is now when we go out to dinner, he does now have to say shellfish allergy. When we're at Benihana or the hibachi place, he has to get his food cooked on a separate side of the hibachi. Before us. Before us shrimp eaters. Get it. So, yeah, Mark, hope those firefighters, cops and military get those positions back. You got to exercise your objections. Conscientious Objector to the COVID 19 vaccine is refus refusal based on deep seated moral, religious or philosophical convictions rather than a medical or scientific concerns. Yeah, it's. It's. It's my philosophical belief that this was a Rust vaccine and. And y' all were trying to make some money off of it, off of the federal government by making everybody. By everybody getting the jab. Oh, I said it. All right, all right. So what is. What else, everybody, I got another. I got another one. But you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna run that Flexner report for us and then. And get right back to you.
E
Over a century ago in 1910, the Flexner Report, funded by John D. Rockefeller and the Carnegie foundation, re engineered medical education from a holistic whole body approach, which appropriately treated the body as an interconnected system, to a compartmentalized approach under the guise of specialized medicine. They shut down or consolidated medical schools, marginalized naturopathic, homeopathic, allopathic and chiropractic medicine, replacing them with symptom management and synthetic drugs. Allopathy is a marketing strategy rooted in fear and manipulated science. This philosophy carried into veterinary medicine, resulting in over vaccination, unnecessary surgeries, and manufactured food, just like they did for people. They call it care, but it's predatory and based on profitability. The truth, duck toxicity, compromised immunity and chronic Inflammation. They're not fate, they're engineered. And so is your power to undo them. We built three targeted formulas to return the body to homeostasis for pets and people to detox, defend and restore. We are the correction to decades of corruption. We are vengeance.
C
I'm back. Let me, let me, let me finish this up and go back to it just, just for a little bit with him. I did have, have some other notes that I had written down, so the, so I can, I can confirm that. According to multiple reports, Kelly is receiving full back pay, restored benefits, retirement credit and active duty placement. He. Some reports even say that he's received station preference and restoration of entitlements tied to his prior service. So, you know, so it's, that is pretty cool. And then, and then it also said thousands of service members across different branches, either separately or voluntarily, were involuntarily discharged or led under pressure or left under pressure after refusing the vaccine. The Pentagon officially rescinded the mandate in 2023, but that did not automatically restore careers. It's not like these guys got reactivated, you know, retirement benefits or retirement time benefits. Rent bank for many of the people who had already been forced out. That's where this is a current policy shift. With this new administration, Under Secretary Pete Hegseth, Department of War has launched a broader effort aimed to bringing back service members who were separated solely because of the vaccine mandate. Remember, it's just because of the mandate. You can't say like, oh, I was separated for, you know, a court martial or something like that, and then, oh, but I also didn't get the job, so can I let me get back in again. Officials have described that some of those individuals are warriors of conscience and announced programs intend to restore benefits and offer pathways back into service. Some estimates say more than 8,000 service members across all branches were affected by the mandate. Related separations. Now, politically, this story obviously is going to generate strong opinion from both sides, but we know what side the anti hero broadcast is on and, and the 99. So again, another aspect people online have started pointing out is that officer or Chief Warrant Officer Kelly is black. Which has sparked debate from commenters who argue that stories involving black Americans regaining opportunity, regaining opportunities or positions under Republican administrations often receive far less media attention. Probably why you haven't really seen this in the news than stories involving losses or cuts. So, you know, like job loss or, or lower income stuff. That conversation has become part of a broader political reaction surrounding this reinstatement. So, you know, Trump's out there getting it done. Doesn't care what color you are, who you are. He's getting done with. He's getting done. What's right is right. So. So. So no Fauci Ouchie here from Nick the gun guy. What's up, buddy? Where we got. Oh, so yeah, you guys are. You guys are responding to me. I'm the one typing anti. From anti hero broadcast. I was asking how it's going and you guys are answering me, so thank you very much. Jay wanted to let Tyler know in case that was him. It's been 48 minutes of Star wars talk and the rest is about sponsors plus. So, you know, we're getting something done here. We're talking sponsors, we're talking. We're talking that. So, yeah, leave it to the media for sure. Let's see. Aquapong. I got one of the Johnson and Johnson and my wife had. And my wife had to. For work. My oldest kid chose to get it. Yeah, I mean, look, I ain't looking bad on anybody that chose to get it. One of my, you know, one of the huge turning points for us in. In our department was my sergeant. Three of us, like, we worked in the same unit. We all got sick at the same time. We all caught Covid at the same time. He. Something. Something led to him catching it the worst. He spent 79 days in a. In a coma in the hospital. Touch and go for a lot of it. We did a lot of prayer outside. We. We held a few events, you know, outside his window of his hospital room. We supported his family as best we could. Just, you know, super crazy time, you know, that caused a lot of us to go, oh man. You know, like this thing's real. Like the news is not just showing us like some weird stuff like this is happening. So, you know, and I. And he. And he, you know, thankfully amazing was able to make a recovery and he came back. He was number two on the list to get both lungs transplanted. I. I use the description of his lungs were basically grocery bags bags and. And it was crazy. But. But with the hard work and a lot of prayers and stuff, he was able to get well, get back to us, get back to work. And you know, but the. The doctors basically told him, they were like, hey, it's probably a good idea if you get these. Get these vaccines. At the time. That's. That's what they knew was best. And, and he had seen some. Some. Some craziness obviously. Obviously. So. So thankfully you're here. Love you, Darwin. Glad. Glad he's still around to to torment us. But it. But it. It made a lot of us, you know, kind of think differently about the vaccine and what we were doing, you know, and a lot of people chose to get it. But, you know, I. I still, you know, I. I had kind of. I had already been through it. You know, I. Almost. The beginning of when he had it, I had been through it. You know, I sequestered myself in a room, all that kind of stuff, drank a lot of soup, got a lot of rest, and I was able to fight it off. So I was like, look, if my body's strong enough, I was 40 or 39. I was like, my body seems strong enough. Seems like it's. It's good to go. I'm able to fight this. You know, I caught it, and. And, you know, I got through it. So I was like, I don't think that, you know, and at that time, we were all sitting there juggling. Juggling the balls going, you know, oh, well, if you got it now, you have higher antibodies and all that kind of stuff. All that crap that we used to. That. That. The news and that. Joe Rogan and whoever we were all talking about in those days, we dealt with it, and we all lived it. I know all of you in here, there's nobody that's, you know, five years old watching this podcast, so. So all y' all are in here doing it. You live through it. You made it somehow. Thankfully, you're here. And. And. And some of us right there. Nick's. I'm partially reading it, but I'm gonna read it fully now. Got it early. Lost 31 pounds. Probably not because of it, but. Oh, well, yeah, maybe for six months. Had lingering stomach issues. Yeah. And. And that was also one of the other things my wife said to me. She said, hey, you know, we're losing friends for. From various reasons. We lost a friend to heart disease at that same time, too. I'm sure Covid didn't help her either, but, you know, we were all dealing with all kinds of stuff. So my wife looked at me and was like, look, you gotta. You gotta try to make yourself more healthy. You know, I was one of those, you know, cops eating, you know, not taking care of herself, not. Not taking care of myself, not working out. So change the flop philosophy, switched gears, started eating better, started working out a whole lot more. And. And it's. And it's helped me, knock on wood, it's helped me do better. And so that's. I hope all you guys do better. And take. Take from that kind of stuff too. So Nick, nick couldn't be 15 minutes away from a bathroom. Are you ever really 15 minutes away from a bathroom? I mean, just. Just go in the grass and your brains out or whatever. So. But yeah, I was in. Yeah, I'm sure it was embarrassing always having to jump up. Mark got it twice. I think I'm a three time. I think I'm a three timer. Definitely a two timer. I think I got it three times. And Clint for some reason takes his Flintstone vitamins. Thank you, Hulk Hogan. Clint or his wife never got it. My wife got it and I didn't get it. One time. She. She got it because of the hospital and she. I was able to stay away from her and never caught it again. But I probably had it two or three times already. Flintstones. Flint Stones. What's up, everybody? All right, I got one more story and then I think if you guys, if anybody wants to, while I go through this story, if you guys want to, to throw anything into the chats. Give me some more ideas. Give me some more something. Something to. To goof around with. Let me throw a little plug to our boy, G Money. G Money Show Tuesdays at 7pm Eastern on Counterculture Inch YouTube. Not this YouTube channel, Counterculture Inc. It's a whole nother YouTube, but there's a whole bunch of other shows that's the network that we're all a part of. You know, we all have some fashion of a show over there on Counterculture. It's good time. I. I do open mic on Fridays with Tyler and Nick as well, and we, we have a good time kind of talking about the background of what's going on. I usually don't have many stories because I don't do a broadcast during the week, but now I might have some stories doing this broadcast this week. So. But tomorrow night, Nick should be ready to go 7pm to bring you some more political news, political information with. With a G Money spin. So yeah. What's up, buddy? So, yeah. All right, so I'm gonna switch this up. What do we got next? One, we got some baseball news. I know that, I know that our buddy canine wasn't talking about this. Didn't bring this up. But over the weekend, I'm an American, and I'm an American flag guy. So I, I got a lot of pride in my flag. So I, you know, I stand for it. The United States of America. So next up is a story that exploded online over the weekend involving Boston Red Sox pitcher Oran or Orlandis Chapman orlandis Chapman and an upside down American flag display on his cap during Major League Baseball's Armed Forces Week weekend. Now, for people that don't follow baseball closely, which might be some of you, Armed Forces Weekend is one of those. One of the league's annual tributes to the military. Teams wear camouflage themed gear, special patches, military inspired uniforms to honor active duty service members and veterans. During the Red Sox series against the Atlanta Braves, fans noticed that Chapman, who was in the bullpen, appeared to be wearing a military themed cap with an inverted American flag patch on on it. Photos quickly spread across social media and the reaction was immediate. Some people believed that it was intentional political symbolism. Others argued that it may have simply been manufacturing or stitching error involving the hat itself. For anybody that does buy some stuff from fanatics, you know, it comes straight from Mike's factory in China and sometimes it can be screwed up, up. So you know, who knows about that? But social media, social media was basically split into two camps almost instantly. Now for context, an upside down American flag has, has, has historically been recognized as a symbol of distress or protest. Under the US Flag code, it is traditionally supposed to represent extreme danger or national emergency. So when people saw that during a military appreciation event, emotions obviously ran high. What made this story especially more controversial is Chapman's personal history. Chapman defected from Cuba in 2009 while he was part of the Cuban national baseball system. After leaving Cuba, he eventually signed a massive Major League Baseball contract and went on to earn well over $170 million during his major League Baseball career. He became one of the most recognizable relief pitchers in baseball history, an eight time all Star, a World Series champion, and a holder of the fastest recorded pitch in MLB history at over 105 miles an hour. That's what a lot of fans viewed. That's why a lot of why a lot of fans viewed the incident through a specific lens. Their argument was basically he's a player who escaped communication. Cumulus. I can't, I can't read. Just call me Tyler. Communist Cuba again built generational wealth in America and is now wearing an upside down American flag during Armed Forces Weekend. On the other side, some fans argue that people were reading way too much into it and there's just likely a defective merchandise and an improperly attached patch from the apparel manufacturer. Seems kind of convenient. It though online discussion specifically mentions, like I said, fanatics, which has faced criticism over quality control issues with league uniforms and apparel. As of now, neither Chapman nor the Boston Red Sox have publicly issued a major statement explaining whether the Upside down flag was intentional or accidental. And that silence has honestly fueled even more speculation leading it to the anti hero broadcast and our chat. So, so we'll see after this what the chat thinks. And I'm also slightly an idiot and I meant to do this. I got you guys a little poll. So let's take a poll. So for those of you in the chat, drop a one if it was a whoopsies or two if he meant to do it. So go for it. Now's your chance to vote chat. Drop that in there. And let me get back to what I was lamenting on. What's interesting is the that the controversy controversy completely overshadowed his actual performance on the field. Chapman has been having an incredible season for the Boston for Boston. So far reports show he's carrying an ERA that's an earned run average for you non baseball fans. Barely over half a run with double digit saves already in this season. So he's doing pretty well. But instead people are talking about but instead of talking about baseball, everybody's debating patriotism, symbolism, patriot or protest culture and intent. And honestly, this story also shows how different Americans interpret symbols. Right now everything is politically heated. So we'll, we'll, we'll check it out. You know, at this point there's still no definitive explanation on whether the hat was intentionally modified or whether it was simply an apparel mistake spiraled into national controversy. But, but this thing's for sure. For the weekend that was supposed to focus on honoring the military, a lot of controversy ended up focused on a baseball cap. So you know, I'm, I'm, I'm a big proponent of the American flag. I love my flag. As a police officer, I organize a June 14 Flag Day retirement ceremony with the American Legion to create a video. I created a video for our department social media to teach people about the proper respect and retirement of American flags. I had also been placed in charge of our Dropbox. A lot of communities, police departments, parks and stuff like that have American flag retirement drop boxes. Please don't drop your State of Florida flag in there. That's not what it's for. But if an American flag is tattered or torn or weathered and it doesn't look presentable, it you can retire it in by dropping it off in, you know, certain dropboxes. You can google it, it's pretty easy to find. And then we get them to places to organizations that are allowed to, to legally burn and retire an American flag. American Legion is one of them. I know the Boy Scouts of America are another one. And I believe that the Marine Corps also has the ability to respectfully. Pretty much anybody can do it if you're doing it respectfully, but ceremoniously and out in public, you know, there's a way to do it. So for. For two years, I. I held and like a. A cool presentation. Freaking June 14th flag day. It's usually raining in South Florida. We get the fire department a big burn barrel. And. And we would take a whole bunch of those flags that. That we had received that we didn't give to, like, Boy Scout troops and stuff. And, um, and we'd have members of the community, we'd have members of the armed forces that wanted to come in uniform. We used to have. Have some of the veteran motorcycle groups. They would come out and. And put flags. And then we had the. We had the fire department there on standby in their bunker gear in case that barrel got a little crazy. Part of the problem is nowadays is, is the safety aspect of it because a lot of these flags are poly flags. They're like a vinyl polyester flag that burning is. Turns into a dangerous gas ass. So, you know, we're not making flags out of cotton anymore. So I. Obviously, whenever I found a flag in the. In that flag Dropbox that was made out of like, a cotton or a canvas, I would save it for that specific event just because I'm not trying to kill all the people that showed up for that good event. You can find it on the Sunrise Police Department's YouTube channel. It's up there. And. And so we would use those, but eventually we would get to some of the poly flags because those, Those are the flags that people leave up there up at their flagpoles for, like, years. And they get super washed out and tattered and stuff like that. So, I mean. And I remember my neighbor, one time, he put his flag upside down. I was in high school, but I. But I knew these facts. I was in high school. So I walked up to his door and banged on his door and I said, yay. What's up? Up, Everybody okay? What's going on? And they're like, yeah, what's up? What's up? And I was like, flags upside down. Sign of distress. You guys okay? And they. They're. Oh, yeah, yeah, they. They're Cuban. And. Oh, Little correlation with this story. And, uh, we had just had the Ellie and Gonzalez raid down in Miami where, uh, Miami PD for the feds, uh, rated Ellie and Gonzalez was. Was a Cuban migrant. They came over on a raft. His mother died during transit or during the, during the ordeal in the Florida Straits. And he was found, his, his father was still in Cuba. And, and so he got placed with family members here in Miami. And Janet Reno, I know this because I interviewed my former police chief who was in charge of this raid. Janet Reno called him, him, my former police chief and said, hey, we need you guys to go pick up, pick up this kid. So my neighbor was mad at the federal government, so they were doing it in a sign of protest. And I was like, hey, you know, at a request of me, could you show a little more respect for the United States? You can, you can put whatever signs up in your yard you want, but keep my American flag upright and waving and, and present. So they, uh, they didn't necessarily listen. But I was just a high school kid and I wasn't about to fight some my neighbors, which are now my dog watchers. So we're still friends. But you know people, you see it in these, you see it in these protests now. BLM protests, you know, all these other kinds of crazy protests. You know, you see it and they, they put the American flag up because they feel that they're in distress. So it's, it's some fashion of a free speech speech. But if you're not in distress, you're always going to get me to ask you, are you in distress? What's going on? I'm going to ask you some stupid questions. Especially when I was a police officer and I'd see it, sometimes people would put their flags upside down. Sometimes people are just dumb and they aren't paying attention and they put the flag upside down. Or like at a school, you know, like not to knock on my custodians out there, but our blue collar workers love you. But sometimes they're not paying attention and they throw that flag up there upside down. So when I'd be on the road and I'd be zipping by a school or whatever u turn maybe we got something going on and pulling that school. And I would, you know, not check them out and say, hey, you guys, okay? I'd call the sro. Hey, meet me out front. What's going on with your American flag? You guys okay? Is this, is anybody under hostage? And they were never under hostage. It was usually just the custodian that put it up immediate properly. So. All right, well, now we will. I don't know how to reveal. I don't know if you guys can see this. Can you guys actually see the, the, the, the poll? Not my poll, but the poll. Can you See, it. It was a 100 resounding. Yeah, he meant to. He meant to do it. He. And. And I believe. And I believe that is the case. That's my personal opinion. We give personal opinions out here. And, And. And we say, yes, I know, Moon Cricket, you are not a janitor, but you are part of our blue. Blue collar crew, and you're the president and also a member, and you represent janitors of America as well. So I'm happy that you're here with us. And, you know, thank you for being a man. But, yeah. So 100 resounding. Yeah, he meant to. And I will give my personal opinion. I believe he did mean to. I believe that he knows what's going on with that hat. He probably figured, yo, I'm in the bullpen and I'm just gonna wear it. Maybe somebody will catch my picture, you know, because there's a lot of going on with Cuba right now. You know, the blockade is doing its blockade thing. They re Cuba recently said, hey, we're out. We're out of gas. Like, literally and figuratively out of gas. So. And I know it's sad. I've got a lot of Cuban friends. One of my boys that. That I interviewed on my podcast, he has flown to Cuba. Not recently, but he's flown to Cuba in the last few years. He's a. He's a paramedic firefighter down in Hialeah, and he has brought medical supplies down there because his grandmother, who took care of him when he was growing up in Cuba, she, you know, she's not in great health. And, dude, they don't even have. They don't even have the little stickers, you know, for the EKGs that, like, our firemen and EMS just. They throw seven or eight of them on you. And just even on dead bodies, they put them on freaking dead bodies. They just waste them. You know, they're just there, you know, like, hey, that body's dead. And they're like, nope, we're gonna still stick them on there. Stop messing with my crime scene. Nope, we're gonna still stick these sticks. Stickers on there. So they do that. And. And in Cuba, they don't even have them. So it's sad. I hope that. I hope that we can, at some point, soon help them out, take over Cuba, whatever we got to do to get them fixed up. Because, you know, it's seems like it used to be a nice place. Um, you know, so let's. Let's see if anybody. Before my little poll here, the little poll not my poll, before the poll. What do we got? If anybody. Here's, here's a little. Here's a little. Here's a little thing. All right, Donuts. I'm just gonna put this up real quick. If you're watching this over on Twitter or Facebook. X. Sorry, X. Or Facebook. Come on over to, to YouTube, subscribe to Anti Hero broadcast and then subscribe to Donut Shop Podcast. Sorry, just doing a little bit of. Doing a little bit plus plugs here. So let's see. Did anybody else throw any other fun little things they wanna. Yeah, Nick. Nick the gun guy says they all check uniforms before the game at many levels. So him, yeah, he was definitely. Somebody definitely looked him over and said, hey, you're good. And then there's a. And then there's a uniform guy. There's a uniform person that works in the locker room that sets up their entire uniform. Uniform that, that places all their hats, whatever, you know, batting practice hat, game time hat, batting practice uniform, regular uniform. These guys get their asses wiped in the locker rooms. So it was, it was on purpose, I'm sure. Purpose for sure. Sports ball is cucked. Okay. Joseph says the US Is a danger or is in danger because Cuba has drones from Iran and 10 intended to use them against this country if attacked. Yeah, that's definitely one of the things. And I think they talked about it yesterday on Anti Hero. Their Cuba, for all intents and purposes, is 90 miles away from Key west down in South Florida. Granted There's a naval station in South Florida in Key west. And then there's Homestead Air Base for the Air Force. That's the one that blows the doors off my house if there's ever an incursion at Trump's in Palm Beach Beach. So they, they activate those jets and they boom. Light speed. By the time they go over my house. And, and we're like, what the was that? And then you look in the news or you look on X and then all of a sudden it's like, oh, yeah, there was a Cessna or something that, that flew into the airspace of Mar a Lago. But yeah, it's, you know, a little bit of. A little bit of saber rattling going on with Key, with, with Cuba right now. And what's going on. The left has become anti American. Baseball is my sleep aid. Yeah. You know what? My sleep aid used to be NASCAR on Sundays. I used to work early on Sunday mornings at Old Navy in college. And when I get home, NASCAR would be on and great for taking naps. That, that roar of the car just puts me to sleep. That or Champions League soccer, sucker. What else do we got? I'm gonna go through this just trying to. I'm just trying to extend this show a little bit. You know, guys always want to do an ex. Always want to have some extensions. So what? Most community, most Cubans are moderate or conservative. Yeah. Living in South Florida. I definitely know that Cubans are definitely, if not even more conservative, you know, because they, they've seen and they've known. Even if they're first generation here, you know, they know what their parents went through or their grandparents. So they're, they're definitely big on freedom, stuff like that. Yeah. Moon Cricket Ultra has an infatuation for Janet Reno. She could probably pick you up, Cotton is a bold move. Bold move, Cotton. I got you. I got you. Dodgeball. And what else do we got? Nobody's. Nobody's throwing out any, Nobody's throwing out any stories here for me to go into. You know, I tried to. Oh, here we go. Yeah. Thoughts on Star Wars. Yes, thoughts on Star Wars. I don't wanna. I don't wanna this. It's not really my show. I'm just a shepherd of the show right now. So I don't really wanna, you know, take too much liberties on their show. I've already been scolded for taking liberties on other shows that I didn't necessarily get permission from. And so I was, I was vehemently denied my request to fly the tower. And I definitely Flew the tower during that show and you know, what's in the past is in the past and now I've been trusted, entrusted with the opportunity to fly this ship, this, this Millennium Falcon for a little while. Chad is like, Nick, nothing of merit. Thank you, guys. Thank you, guys. What kind of a starfighter? The last Starfighter. We'll go, we'll go deep cut into that. The, that last starfighter is pretty dope. Flying machine in that movie. What are your thoughts on Trump backing down from bombing Iran? Yeah, bombing the, you know, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. Trump was definitely, he was definitely talking about it a whole lot and then I guess so he put out a, he put out a post on Truth Social yesterday that, you know, a couple of the other Middle Eastern countries have gotten with them and they're, they think they, that, you know, some real progress is being made. Allegedly. Realistically, a lot of this stuff. I mean, his Truth Social stuff, in my opinion is, is just a way to fluctuate the markets and get people talking. It causes the markets to, to fly up and down because they're like, oh God, we're going to war. Oh God, we're not in war. And, and so I think a lot of it, there's, there's probably some truth to it, it like a joke, but then there's, there's other purposes to it. You know, he's, he's not completely clean from what he's doing. And, and, and I think there's people making, making good money off of just these, these social media posts that he puts out. But I think that they're definitely. He's, he's doing it a little more in the open than, than some of the others used to do behind closed do doors. We never knew what was going on. At least we're looking at some of this stuff going. I feel like that's what's going on. Whereas we only learned about a little while later when the Dems were doing it. So, you know, he, he definitely is doing some of that, you know, so I think, I think tomorrow it's just going to be a flip flop. Tomorrow it's going to be, yeah, you know what? The bombing's back on. You know, ultimately people got to get their oil and they got to get it from somewhere. You know, what happened to the China stuff where, you know, the, the thing that's frustrating to me is you look at all these social media stories. There was social media stories put out that said, hey, we, oh, I thought about something else that I wanted to do. That I'm gonna bring up. We thought about, you know, they were like, hey, when he was over in China, China's now gonna buy oil from Alaska. And you know, Trump's making deals, the art of the deal and stuff like that. And it's like, like. But did that really happen or did, you know, somebody just make up that story and put it into a social media post? Because I'm not seeing any more coming out forward to it, you know, because it's like, how is, you know, how is this not being followed up? Because that sounds like a huge deal that Trump signed. A deal that China's gonna buy oil from freaking from Alaska and, and bring it over from Alaska, which, which would make super sense that it would come from Alaska instead of from the Middle East. But you know, why are we not talking about that more? So that's where I'm like, I think that was just a social media story to get us fired up or to. Hey, look over here, look over here. So I'm gonna work on something. I'm gonna try and pull. I got. Did I. No, I didn't set this one up. I'm gonna to bring. Got to find it. All right, here we go. Here's ig. Let me pull this up. It's not going to be. I don't, I don't tend to do the audio stuff very well. So I'm going to do a, A stream poll of. Stream poll. Actually, maybe I won't, maybe I won't bring it up. I'm gonna leave it up to, I'm leave it up to the boys because they, they may want to talk about this some more. Yeah. But our boy Nick over here, Nick is from Alaska just like Juliet. We've got a little bit of an Alaska, Alaska contingent going on over here. Alaska could be its own self sustaining country. Yeah, I'm sure with, with minerals, gold, oil, all that kind of stuff. It's just, it's just not necessarily hospitable. Which is why you're here in the great free state of Florida, right, Nick, thoughts on the American Indian? Oh boy. What do we got here? The Art of Armed China ship. Wait, hijacked by irgc. Please don't steal the ship. Please don't. I don't totally have all that. And then Joe Ring says, I heard that he sold us out at China. Or yet again with China buying land and giving them student visas. Yeah, that was another thing. China buying up land, you know, around military bases, farmland. A lot of these farmers in the Midwest and in the the west are selling off their properties and the Chinese are buying it up, especially around military bases for that kind of stuff. So super, super crazy with that. So get a couple more of these. Saudi Arabia is trying to get east west pipeline up and running to bypass the, the Strait of Hormuz. The problem is Saudi Arabia would 100% control any movement of oil. Yeah, I mean, it's their oil. We're, we're pretty, we're a pretty cool ally of Saudi Arabia, aren't we? So we should, we should be a little bit of a helper in that. But yeah, I mean these, these land straits are a big deal. You know what we, you know, like with us with the Panama Canal, dealing with China coming in and kind of trying to take over the Panama Canal and then us being like, no, no, no, not gonna do that because that's a, that's a huge part of shipping cutting through the Panama Canal. So what can we do? I, I had seen an article also could be fake news about an area north of Panama. Also trying to create. They're. They're creating a rail system that these, if the Panama Canal were to become unviable or, or too expensive that, that the, these ships, these ships would come, they'd offload in the port, load it on rail, bring it across the country and then unload it on the Pacific side or vice versa and then load it onto a new ship. Ship sounds counterintuitive or like a throwback to pre Panama Canal, but you never know what's going to happen. You never know if a country like China gets a stronghold on the Panama Canal and makes it to where it's just not going to work. It, it might be able to work for. I forget if it's, I forget if it's Costa Rica or. Who was talking about doing that. Somebody was talking about, about doing that. Obviously it's going to be a country with less of a land mass to, to have to cross because the, the less amount of train tracks you got to throw down, the better. Thoughts on. We, we've got, we've got actual Inuit, actual Native Americans. Juliet is an actual native from Alaska, so. And she's a friend and you know, they're, they're good people up there. I'm sure she could come on and, and talk plenty about the native Alaskans and the people of Alaska. So. All right, guys, I think this is probably it. Tyler is not giving me the hook yet. Yet. But you know, I appreciate everybody for being here and for, for sticking around for this whole show. Thank You, Tyler and Mike for giving me the opportunity to shepherd the Anti Hero broadcast for the day while you guys have a thankfully safe flight home now that I've seen that you've both managed to make it home and you know, thanks for, thanks for having me on. Hope to get to do it again sometime soon and I definitely will. I'll tell you guys this one. If, if the guys are ever out of town again and need somebody to run it now with our boy Jerry Worms living in South Florida or living in Florida, I think we may, I may pick Jerry Worms up and we may come up and do a, a J and J show in the studio at Anti Hero Broadcast. So if Tyler and Mike ever need a, ever need a day off, maybe, maybe Jerry Worms and Justin will come and, and run the show and give you a different point of view or something like that. Whatever the hell we can do. We did something. I mean I got almost an hour and a half in here. This is, this is normally the Tuesday. Uh, previously this has been the Tuesday Patreon show but now it's just going to be a, a normal flagship style broadcast. But you know, since I'm just a fill in substitute teacher, I am, I'm gonna, I'm gonna end it a little early. You guys get to, you guys get to get out of class early today for, for you know, a half hour early to go to go study and remember, part of your job if you want a free Anti Hero or free, if you want a free Donut Shop podcast hat, go to Donut Shop Pod on Instagram, comment in or anything on the post that I did saying that I was going to do Anti Hero broadcast today. It's a, it's a post that I made. Follow the page and say what's up and comment there and thank you everybody again and I'm gonna let it go. Go. The, the watchers have gone to 66 so we're going to call this order 66 and end the show. Have a great rest of the week. Back tomorrow one o' clock with Mike. Jv team for life.
Date: May 20, 2026
Host: Justin (guest hosting for Tyler and Mike)
Duration: ~1:41:15
This episode centers on the legal twists in the Luigi Mangione homicide case, where key evidence was recently suppressed by a judge, plus a headline-making San Diego shooting, a major policy reversal on military vaccine discharges, and the firestorm around an MLB pitcher's upside-down flag cap. True to the podcast’s style, Justin offers practical explanations for law enforcement and blue-collar audiences, blends news analysis with personal and professional anecdotes, and interacts live with a chatroom of regulars.
Main themes:
[~16:20–27:50]
“At first glance, people hear a judge tossed evidence and immediately think, 'This case is going to fall apart.' But legally speaking, that's not really what happened here.” (Justin, 17:50)
“This case is not going bye bye...he’s still going to trial.” (Justin, 26:30)
Cops and investigators must strictly follow search, seizure, and interview procedures to avoid giving defenses an opening—especially in headline cases.
[27:50–44:10]
"He died protecting those kids...respect on that security officer, you know, thank you for laying your life down.” (Justin, 39:17)
“Active shooter response training—unlike in Uvalde, this security guard actually presented himself, alerted the school, possibly saving hundreds of lives.” (Justin, 41:55)
[36:54–47:20]
“We are welcoming back to service patriots who refused the COVID-19 vaccine ... If that is you and you still have the desire ... we are ready to reinstate you.”
— (Secretary of War, audio clip, 38:02)
“The Pentagon rescinded the mandate in 2023, but that did not automatically restore careers...Now, this new administration and Under Secretary Pete Hegseth are aiming to make it right.” (Justin, 47:00)
[56:14–1:12:40]
“Anytime I saw an upside down flag—even as a cop or just as a neighbor—I’d bang on the door: ‘You guys okay? What’s going on?’” (Justin, 1:09:50)
“For the weekend that was supposed to focus on honoring the military, a lot of controversy ended up focused on a baseball cap instead.” (Justin, 1:12:00)
Throughout, Justin riffs live with the regular chatroom:
| Segment | Start | Quote/Highlight | |-------------------------------------------|------------|------------------------------------------| | Legal suppression in Mangione case | 16:20 | “At first glance, people…think the case will fall apart…” | | Police procedural advice | 20:24 | “Make sure you cross your T’s and dot your I’s.” | | San Diego shooting coverage | 27:50 | “Tragic and disturbing attack…investigating as a hate crime.” | | Lessons from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas | 40:53 | “A benchmark that changes law enforcement…” | | Military vaccine policy reversal | 36:54 | Secretary of War audio statement | | COVID vaccine discussion & personal story | 47:20 | “My sergeant…79 days in a coma with COVID.” | | MLB upside down flag controversy | 56:14 | “Drop a 1 in chat if it was an accident, 2 if intentional.”| | Flag etiquette & retirements | 1:09:32 | Community flag burn anecdotes | | Show close, chat humor | 1:31:15 | “All right, guys, I think this is probably it…” |
Justin kept the show lively, blending serious news with everyday policing perspective, practical advice for law enforcement and blue-collar workers, humor, and a sense of patriotic community. The chat shaped the show’s interactive and irreverent tone, while key national news stories were examined with both inside knowledge and personal reflection.
