Brent
Welcome back to another Thursday night squad cast. Thursday nights are for the boys. And we have a doozy of an episode. We got Brent, he just walked in from shot show. He's barely awake, but he's hanging on. And we have AJ from the Follow on Mission, a charity organization that does adrenaline based therapy. And we have Reagan from the Unbecoming podcast or the popular meme page Conduct Unbecoming. Tonight we're going to cover Trump's wild deportation that's already in effect and the infamous female cop that shoots the guy.
AJ
Classic.
Brent
Classic. Classic. So thanks for joining us, guys. Prepare for a good time and let's go. Without further ado, super chats.
Reagan
Hey, already.
Brent
What kind of name is Tonto for a Mexican? We already covered that. It means quick, right?
Reagan
Yeah. Hit us.
Tyler
Hey, can I. Could I talk about the studio?
Reagan
Send it.
Tyler
I. I got to be honest, I. I thought it was going to be smaller. Showed up early. I didn't want to. I didn't want to pay the.
Brent
Into the mic.
Tyler
Yeah, sorry.
AJ
Yeah.
Tyler
Showed up early and, you know, I wanted to take the guy to tour, but I didn't want to wait. So I paid the 27 bucks and got the guest pass. Incredible. I was going to try to keep this, but that's just sent me a very strongly worded text. I guess this does come back. But. Yeah, I got lost coming from the range to the pool. One of the interns had to bring me back in.
Reagan
Oh, yeah. Nice.
Tyler
Yeah, thanks for the invite.
Brent
Yeah, we don't know we have guest pass. By the way, he's busting you on balls waiting for the punchline. He didn't crack a smile or anything, so. Oh, hold on. Bert, Ernie, BJ and Rogan. What's cracking, homies? Who's bj? Oh, aj.
Tyler
Aj.
Reagan
Nice. It begins. It begins.
Brent
So the first thing we're going to talk about is. Is Trump's. Is it his first day in office or second day?
AJ
Second. Right.
Brent
The inauguration doesn't count or. It does count.
Reagan
Yeah. Yeah. That's the day you swear in. Okay.
Brent
Yeah, that counts. He started doing executive orders that day.
AJ
Yeah, yeah, because Biden did that whole pardon thing 15 minutes while.
Brent
Yeah, while he was doing his.
Reagan
Into the mic, guys. Into the mic.
Tyler
Yeah, I think. I think once again, everybody, it's kind.
Reagan
Of why we have these things. I don't.
AJ
Okay.
Tyler
Once he gets launch codes. Yeah, once he gets launch codes, I think he's. I think he's got the job.
Brent
Are you. You're not. Are you a Trump guy?
Tyler
Me?
Brent
Yeah, you Know, being from a.
Tyler
Being from nonprofit. I'm apolitical, but I'm nice.
AJ
Let's say.
Tyler
Let's say my group of people are who you call when you're in trouble.
AJ
So, yeah, he's got. He's got boots on.
Tyler
Conservatives. Yeah.
Reagan
Who you call when you're in trouble.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah.
Brent
I was getting cops, but yeah. Yeah. So he definitely has already beefed up his ICE game. And Fox News put out a wild video today where they're like, we rode with ice. Did you see that?
Reagan
No, I didn't see that.
Brent
Oh, my God. It's amazing. They held no punches and they fucking. They were like, I mean, we have it. We're gonna play it. But they're like, there was people that were roommates with the targets. They went because they were illegal.
Reagan
Nice.
Brent
But it's in the Instagram. Drew, we play. Drew also doesn't have a mic because right now we only have the capabilities to run four mics at a time. So in the future, probably in a couple months, we're gonna get a new interface where we can run up to eight, in which case we'll have more guests and Drew will have a mic.
AJ
Are our families getting deported too, together?
Brent
Yeah, I don't know if they're getting together. Right up that one down right there.
Reagan
One of those threats is this illegal alien from Haiti. Ice says he's a gang member. With 17 criminal convictions in recent years. Ice Boston quickly takes down its next targets, including this illegal alien from Brazil who has an Interpol red notice for armed robbery. This Salvadoran illegal alien charged locally with rape and released by a sanctuary jurisdiction. And this Dominican illegal alien charged with assault with a deadly wipers and heroin trafficking. This Guatemalan MS.13 gang member facing gun charges. ICE says he was released from local custody just the day before their detainer request was ignored because of sanctuary policies. And in a sign of shifting priorities with the new Trump administration, this man, who was in the same apartment as the target, was also arrested after ICE determined he's also in the US Illegally. This is what ICE calls collateral.
AJ
So you guys got your main target just now, but you got somebody else. What just happened?
Reagan
So our main target was released by a sanctuary jurisdiction, not honoring a detainer.
Brent
That person was released back into the community.
Reagan
And when we went to go find him, he's with somebody else who was.
Brent
Previously removed from the United States. So he's going to go today, too.
Reagan
And that is exactly what border czar Tom Homan has warned would happen when we find the bad Guy, he's probably with others. Others that are in the United States illegally. They may not be a criminal priority, but we're not walking away from them. IceBoston says they will continue to go into sanctuary jurisdictions and do their job. Today was a good day. Today we took several significant public safety threats out of our communities.
Brent
Unfortunately, a lot were released. Sanctuary policies. But we're here to tell the Commonwealth.
Reagan
And the rest of the country that.
Brent
We'Re going to find them whether they're released or not. God, I love it there. That is amazing.
Reagan
Warms my heart, actually.
Brent
It just does.
Reagan
It warms my heart.
Brent
Day three, they're getting these guys in sanctuary cities. I mean, these cities are allowing them to stay their drop. They're releasing them on bail or drop. You know, when they have rape charges, like, that's insane to me.
AJ
What's their reasoning for that? I don't know. How are they just letting them go? Is it they're too full, or what is their.
Reagan
I don't know. I'm gonna take a step back. I think we've been just programmed, you know, as Americans to be like, you know, send me your tired, you're weak, you're poor. Well, that's how America was started. Right?
Brent
We needed people.
Reagan
Right? We needed people. Exactly. At some point, why are we the only country? Why? Why do we just accept that if you come to America and seeking asylum, that. That we have to give it to you? Says who? We don't. Why? Why do we feel the need to do that? Like, if our resources infinite or our resources finite.
AJ
Finite.
Reagan
They're finite. Should they go to your kids or should they go to some foreigner that, sure, you had a bad day, but at the end of the day, we're here to protect Americans. We work for America. Let me tell you. Do you know what it takes to get asylum in this country?
AJ
I do not.
Reagan
Just take a guess. I didn't know he had to look it up too, just to make sure I was right.
AJ
As far as years.
Brent
Wait, you mean like, not citizenship, but asylum?
AJ
I have no idea.
Tyler
I'm gonna guess a sworn statement.
Reagan
Okay, asylum. So, yeah, one, you have to go to a declared port of entry to look for asylum. That's all these people are coming here for. They're saying that they're being persecuted, that they have. They're looking for asylum in the United States.
Brent
Have a reason. Okay.
Reagan
They have to have a reason. Just can't come United States back. I want to be a citizen. Okay, so, one, you have to go to a port of Entry. So you just can't illegally cross and go, oh, but I'm here for a silence. So you already are supposed to get kicked back. So you have to be physically present at a port of entry, demonstrate that they have been persecuted or fear persecution in their home country right off the bat. That's so subjective. Whoever intakes you has to, has to decide that. So it's not just that you've been persecuted or that you fear persecution. Well, hell, in today's mental health crisis, yeah, every, every pink haired girl fears, you know, persecution.
Brent
I'm a straight white male. I'm persecuted like a mother out there.
Reagan
Yeah, it's just insane. Just stop it. How about for now we're good, we're full, no more asylum. But yet you'd be, you were the enemy. If you ever thought that or said that, die on the podium.
Brent
That is the thing is that there's no nice way to say that we're deporting people. There's just no. It's such a touchy topic. Even the people that agree with it are like, but that's mean.
AJ
Well, well, they only said that. I think they've only recorded or put down on paper that we've had 8 million people, but some people think it's up to 30.
Brent
Yeah.
AJ
In the last four years, 30 million people.
Tyler
Of the encounters that border patrol has had, what is the percentage of fighting age males versus families. Are there even families coming across?
Reagan
And again, the biggest problem is we don't know because we only know what we catch, which is crazy. And this is another thing. I read an article. He's looking to push as many as 10,000 troops to the border. He's immediately sending I think 1500 to plus a month up and some, some follow ons. Hey, the wars are over. The wars are over. Generally speaking for, for America. What are we doing?
Brent
All those drones, bringing them here, baby.
Reagan
Yeah, bring them here. Send them to the border like this. They should be stacked with AQ, MQ9s and ISR platforms.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
There's no reason anyone should cross our border right now without us knowing it. I don't. That's. I feel like that, that'd be a pretty. You get, you get ISR platform over there. In less than 24 hours you can mobilize 2 to 3,000 troops and 48 hours and boom, your border secure. Now it takes a lot of manpower and bandwidth to hold that. So do that while we build a wall.
Brent
Yeah. Did we ever finish the wall?
Reagan
No, no, but they've already started back on It.
Tyler
Yeah.
AJ
I refuse to believe that we don't have the capability of keeping our borders secure. Like with. They're talking about these when all the drones issues was going on when they were talking about where they're coming from.
Brent
Let's find out.
AJ
Yeah. Like I refuse to believe that we don't have the capability of keeping our border secure. Like to. To fly a drone. What does that cost, you know, to have several drones with infrared to be scanning. What does that take?
Reagan
We spend so much more and so much more stupid stuff.
AJ
Takes a couple nerds tell.
Reagan
Yeah.
AJ
Who's that big terrorist that came in and said you're going to know my name or whatever that came in. Do you remember the video?
Reagan
I don't remember that one.
AJ
He was. I mean it was probably a year ago now. There's been so much that's come through but.
Reagan
But he's a big.
AJ
He was on the.
Reagan
It's. It sounds conspiracy ish but I can't shake it. Like the. The longer, you know this goes on, I feel like the more they prove it.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
Why that's not a bipoc. By gosh. Forgot the word by almost said bipolar.
Brent
Partisan.
Reagan
Thank you. Gosh. It's been a. Vegas has had its effect on me. While this isn't a bipartisan. It's crazy like you would think Democrats and Republicans both want to secure our border. Only Republicans do. Why is that? Because the people who enter this country illegally vote Democratic. Wildly. And then I know they let him in the country. Then they fight for him to be able to vote. They are absolutely trying to sway elections and the political landscape of this country.
AJ
Right.
Brent
I don't think that's conspiracy theory at all. No, it doesn't sound very. That just sounds like a little. A little bit too much government.
Reagan
I say conspiracy. It is to a degree because they won't come out and say it. So now it's a conspiracy of. Of just beyond. Just say it.
AJ
Do you think they won't say?
Reagan
Although we all know you're right. But it's like worst, worst held, worst kept secret.
AJ
I think it's worth anything to them if they do come here and get asylum and get citizenship just kind of handed to them. Do you think it's worthless?
Reagan
Absolutely. It was another unpopular opinion. This. This might stir someone else up. I don't think you should be an American citizen just because you were born here.
Brent
No. And are they going to change that?
AJ
They were talking. I saw that on the new yesterday.
Reagan
Yeah. I think we can. You know, then we shore that Up a little bit. There's, there's two things. There's two, there's, there's two things about that. If something is, if, if something's important or something's precious. It can't be free.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
That's a fact of life. It can't be free. That we give away our citizenship with very loose rules and we give away our right to vote. And look, and really look what That's.
Brent
I mean they're already doing smaller things like they're giving them driver's licenses.
AJ
Leg ship inflation basically.
Brent
Yeah.
AJ
Like the more money we print, the less valuable it becomes.
Tyler
Yeah. So path to votership through driver's license citizenship.
Reagan
Birth. Citizenship. Birth. Citizenship. Right. Was for slaves.
Brent
It was for slaves.
Reagan
Slavery issue.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
To make them citizens.
Brent
We fixed that issue.
Reagan
It was never to have people come in here illegally have a kid. And as always, this is what I hate most people actually we'll probably talk to you about it. But some people hear that just because it's different than what they've been told their whole life and their, their brain will hurt and they'll just, they'll call you a name and don't want to talk about it. We have.
Brent
That's a liberal.
Reagan
We have to have these conversations like tell me why you know we're wrong. Like let's talk about it. We have to. We can't, we can't stand on these archaic laws forever and just go, well, it's just way it's always been.
Brent
They're starting. Well, we covered this a couple months ago. I mean man, maybe almost a year ago. Los Angeles a while ago, just their first police academy had non citizen graduates in it. So you're gonna have.
Reagan
That's right.
Brent
You're going to have a non US citizen enforcing constitutional laws on you on your own land. Isn't that fucking crazy?
AJ
And then it was San Francisco that got the. Was it the governor or not the government? The mayor.
Reagan
Right.
AJ
Isn't she not a citizen as well? San Francisco.
Reagan
I don't know about that. No, I don't know about that. You might be wrong. But. Or right or wrong. I don't know.
AJ
Maybe it was. She was on the council, but I.
Reagan
In Boston. In Boston there is a illegal immigrant that's on the council and she just got arrested. Good for. For money laundering. Yeah. And all sorts of. All sorts of ridiculousness. Remember when that you remind me about that story about illegals becoming or non citizens becoming cops.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
And the comment section was like, well, wait till they find out that the military allows that like, we were in the military. We. We know that.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
And we're like, one is earning your citizenship through defending your country, and the other one is. Now you're talking about non citizens having the potential to take away your right at a citizen. That's. That's crazy.
Brent
In theory. They don't know the rights they're taking. They don't. I can weigh. I can weigh the caliber of what I'm about to take from you.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
But they. If I don't understand it, own it or have it in any way. And I can't.
Reagan
Right.
Brent
I'm gonna take it from you. I don't know what I. You know what I'm saying?
Tyler
It's crazy.
Reagan
Non citizen can take your rights away as a police officer in that city. That's it. Just. That one blows my mind.
AJ
I've completely forgot about.
Brent
That was a huge.
AJ
I remember being.
Reagan
Really should have been a bigger deal.
AJ
Yeah. Because really, there's so much in the news cycle that I was telling Tyler earlier. I was like, dude, there's so much that happens every day. Yeah. It's hard to keep up. But that's a big deal. Having cops out there that are non citizens enforcing the laws of citizens. But it doesn't make sense to me. So. But how is that. I don't get how that's allowed. How can they legally make that.
Brent
It's California.
Reagan
Yeah. Yeah. And let's take a step back. Everything does. You know. Right. The ship does become right. Why do you think God's burning down the state? God's like, hey, I promised I wasn't going to flood the earth again, but you guys.
AJ
There's no water.
Reagan
You guys are getting fire.
Brent
Zulu whiskey says, Brett and Tyler are so handsome. Hubba bubba. Officer Daniel says, aj who beat you in Australia? Miss seeing you, like, in bike shorts.
Tyler
Oh, man. Who is it who beat the Australia dangle?
AJ
You did say you were.
Brent
Plate design. What's up, bud? I have plate designs books for on the ground.
Reagan
Okay.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Happy late birthday to Colonel Charles Alvin Beckwith. Hope everyone had an awesome week. What's the under over these declassified files being totally blacked out. I don't know. That's gonna be crazy. They got 45 days to release them. Which one's the executive order? The JFK assassination file.
AJ
How much do you think they're actually gonna put?
Brent
That's what they're saying. Like, this is what I hate.
Reagan
This is what I hate. I was just watching a video driving down here, and it was a. Like a. A recording Of Lyndon B. Johnson, like, basically saying, like, he ordered the assassination. And now I'm like, as of the last couple years, I don't know what's real. I don't know what's AI you know what I mean? Yeah. Like, I don't know.
AJ
That's a good point.
Reagan
Because I was like, oh. And I was like, how do I.
Tyler
Know I'm with Rogan. Like he said, after. After the winter of 19 and 20, if it was declassified, we never landed on the moon. I'd have to think about it. I mean, what is real?
AJ
We didn't land on the moon.
Reagan
I. I know we did. There. You. We can see the flag on the moon from any telescope you want. You think that's etched into the. Etched into the glass on every telescope?
AJ
I think, I think they're all programmed. When you look through, it's. You can't really see. It's all programmed through.
Brent
They actually have a telegram. What is it called? Like a beam image?
Tyler
Yeah, it's a hologram. Yeah.
Reagan
So we had hologram technology, but we couldn't get to the moon. Yeah, okay. Sounds about right.
Brent
Goon Parch actual. Bert, Ernie, BJ and Rogan. What's cracking, homies? James Smith with $50 if you. Oh, here we go.
AJ
Oh, yeah.
Brent
If you had to do one, which one would you choose? A. A 10 fight, no holds bars, bare knuckles tournament that you were guaranteed to lose and take a lot of damage, or a 10 fight, all naked jiu jitsu tournament that you were guaranteed to win? Well, I was reading that as a 10, but that's not a war hog. A 10 fight. I don't know what a 10 fight is.
AJ
It's too many words. I already forgot.
Brent
Would you guys rather an A10?
Reagan
Warthog. That's what it's called.
Brent
Yeah, I know, but it's not making sense.
Reagan
Oh, when I read it, I can't help you.
Brent
No hold bars, bare knuckles tournament that you are guaranteed to lose. Okay. Would you rather fight no holds barred, bare knuckle that you're gonna lose, or would you rather fight an all naked Jiu Jitsu tournament that you were gonna win?
Reagan
Who said that?
Brent
James Smith.
Reagan
All naked that I'd win? Because I just. I hate losing. So. Yeah. Yeah. All naked that I win.
Brent
Really?
Tyler
Are you, Are you still winning that though? Is that still a win?
Brent
Yeah, I think I'd go bare knuckle for that one.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Parker, Ahmed, Brent. Hold on.
Reagan
How many rounds? If it's like a hundred rounds, like, do I have. Do I have to get naked and roll like a hundred different tournaments. I need to know how many rounds this is.
Brent
Maybe it's a 10 round.
Reagan
A 10, you know, or different. Like how many people you have to.
Brent
Fight to get a ten round fight? Okay, yeah, that's what it is.
Reagan
The round. The round is one fight, you know, I mean, but like, how many if you know, do I have to fight 5, 10 round fights to get to the championship?
Brent
No, I think just one fight.
Reagan
Just one fight. What does it matter how many rounds is. I'm not just one dude. One dude. One. I don't care if it's 10 rounds. Knocking his ass out in the first round so our winners don't have to touch anymore.
Brent
Parker Ahmed does not watch the show very often because he asked Brent, what is your EDC handgun and why do you choose it? Make it quick.
Reagan
It is the Glock 19. And there's several reasons why I choose it, but the most important is because if you don't, you're an idiot.
Brent
Gene on arrival. Great work, guys. I'm a cop in Detroit metro area. I'm pretty sure I got frostbite there the other night when I was dealing with a dispute over a car over car chargers in the parking lot. That sounds like a cop call. Mm. Salvador Bellonis. ICE is rounding up folks in Boston. What's your take on Stu Scheller getting the job with dod? Tyler, thanks for the swag. Digging it. Oh, yeah. Salvador. Yeah, he's bought a couple times. We just covered ice in Boston. And who was it?
Reagan
Stu.
Brent
Stu Scheller.
Reagan
Scheller.
Brent
I don't know who that is.
Reagan
Let me make sure that they're the same guy so I don't say anything to them.
Brent
We are very pro ICE in Boston. We need ice in every city.
Reagan
Fact.
AJ
Agreed.
Tyler
Yeah. Going back it up. Can I make a Glock comment?
Brent
Sure.
Tyler
Yeah. People. Yeah, it's pro Glock. Okay.
Reagan
Send it.
Tyler
All right. All right. So being away from, you know, being in an area that doesn't have special operations dudes, I could ask a question. What do I need? What do I need for sidearm? I tell people a Glock is a. Is a tool built for the controlled application of violence. Everything else is just a sidearm.
Brent
I'm sure Glock likes that plug.
Reagan
That's right.
AJ
Yeah.
Tyler
And that's not a sponsor. Yeah, that's info@the followonemission.org for donations.
Brent
Oh, yeah. Tell us a little bit about follow on mission.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah. Follow one mission.
Brent
Actually. Hand me a cutter first and then tell me About. No. That's not a cut, does it? No, no. Brent, do you have any cutters over there?
Reagan
Gotcha. I'm on it.
AJ
You got that?
Tyler
There we go.
Brent
Yep. Perfect.
Tyler
All right, Paid my dues, got the cutter. Following mission, it's a veterans line 501c3. And what we do is we provide adrenaline therapy through endurance motorsports to military veterans, first responders and now trauma nurses. What we do is we take dispatchers.
Brent
Do you cover dispatchers?
Tyler
Yeah, I mean so yeah, on the adrenaline therapy, it's a, it's an exciting way to reprogram the sympathetic parasympathetic system to enjoy adrenaline and cortisol. Again, you're in combat cortisol and adrenaline, you're experiencing it at high levels for an extended period of time and it's generally a negative setting. What we do is we put you in a race car for 90 minutes to two hours at a time, elevate those, elevate those hormone levels, recreating physiologically the same conditions of combat, but we do it in a recreational environment.
Brent
You provide all the, everything they need?
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, it's car, fire gear, everything. We do everything except your travel expenses. That's the only thing the individual has to cover is getting himself there. We are working on that, but we haven't got it there yet.
Reagan
The fans want to know what, what kind of car is it? All right, what kind of car?
Tyler
Okay, all right. It is, it's freedom machine. We race in a sea. It's champ car endurance series. We race in a sea. BMWs Miatas, unfortunately, Porsches, the occasional Corvette. We're rolling a, yeah, we are, we're rolling a 1978 Chevrolet Malibu. It's a front mid engine LS powered car, Muncie four speed, Curry rear end. It's, it's a freedom machine. Yeah, it's.
Brent
What about lodging? They got, you got lodging for them or.
Tyler
No, yeah, no, we're, we're not able to cover lodging yet. We are working on that. On that. A lot of guys camp at the track. We always, we, we, you know, get the discounts, book the, book the budget hotel and with, with a group discount rate.
AJ
Camping sounds better.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah. Guys camp at the track and it's a pretty good deal and it really helps us out when you've got, you've got a dude there overnight at the track telling people about the follow on mission and they see, hey man, this isn't just a race team. They're, they're dealing with us.
Brent
Where are you guys out of?
Tyler
We're out of a little town called California. Missouri. Oh, can I talk about that?
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
Central Missouri, Monita County. Got a shout out to Tony Wheatley and the boys at the sheriff's department. So we live in what me and my neighbors call a Missouri misery. It's Missouri. It's a rural county. It's the kind of county you know, my neighbors like to call a. What? Dead body county. So you have a property invasion, you 2:00am you have a property invasion, you call a sheriff's department. It's not the. It's. It's not the watch sergeant coming out to take a statement from you. It's four units and shovels.
Brent
So they're coming as cleanup. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tyler
But a Montauk county sheriff's department and the boys over in Cole County.
Brent
Hopefully you don't get indicted over that.
Tyler
Yeah, no, I. I talked to him, though.
Reagan
Yeah.
Tyler
I told him I might make an inappropriate statement about them, but no great sheriff's department. And they are in large part why we retired to the military. No ties. Could have gone anywhere. Just me and the wife. We chose to come back to Monita County, Missouri.
Brent
Hurricane Dan, what's up?
Reagan
No, I said love it.
Brent
Oh, any chance FRCC gets pipe smoke? Pipes, tampers, etc?
Reagan
We. Yeah, well, I do like smoking a tobacco pipe. Not in the near future. I would definitely consider it. Probably not in the near future. We got some other expansion plans first, and it won't be that.
Brent
Officer Dangle says, DJ, you're my favorite B52 gunner.
Tyler
Oh, man. Who is it?
Brent
I don't know.
Tyler
Who's Dangle? Yeah, I took the. I took one of the traditional routes to Special Forces. Everybody came from somewhere. 82nd, you know, some from Ranger, you know, I was a B52 tail gunner. That's.
Reagan
Were you really?
Tyler
Yeah, yeah.
Reagan
I thought that was a joke. No, no, that's real.
AJ
That's real. Yeah.
Reagan
That's awesome.
Brent
Once I found out Delta Force Apache door gunners were real, now anything's real.
Reagan
Just a follow up with one of those super chats. I heard that name. Want to make sure it was the same guy. Yeah, Stu. I'll make sure I say his name right. Stu Scheller. You. I bet you remember who that guy is. He was the Marine that did a social media post like in his.
Brent
Oh, yeah, the commander.
Reagan
The commander. Talking about. I believe it was Covid. Like vaccinations and like accountability. And then the Marine Corps, he called out his leadership. Called out his leadership in uniform on social media. And they eventually gave him a An honorable discharge or other than like a general discharge under honorable conditions.
Tyler
Yeah. Something you could upgrade.
Reagan
Yeah, yeah. And. And. And basically got fired out of the Marine Corps in the nicest way in that aspect. And the DoD offered him a job.
Brent
Nice.
Tyler
Nice. Yeah.
Brent
We need to get him on the podcast.
Reagan
I was really. While you were talking, and so people know I'm not dick looking at my phone when someone else is talking, I wanted to find out what position, you know, he was going to have. And the couple articles I scanned real quick just said that he got, you know, was offered up a DoD position. I don't know what it is, but I'm glad they gave it to him, and I'm glad they. I think that that type of guy will bring accountability back into the military. I'm telling you, the next four years, not just for the military, but for the military, is going to be good. There's a good culture change about to happen to our military.
AJ
So it was other. It was other than honorable is what they gave him. They didn't give him honorable.
Reagan
I've got to go back and look. It's something like no general discharge, I believe is the wording. Under honorable conditions.
Brent
Yeah.
AJ
So.
Brent
So still not an honorable discharge.
AJ
Okay.
Brent
It's like you were never in.
Reagan
It's like several layers. Like, honorable is the top, dishonorable is a mod the bottom, and there's like two or three in between.
AJ
But what is that? Like, what's the point of giving that instead of just, I don't even know, you know?
Tyler
Retirement, va.
Reagan
Okay.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
So back, man. Union, yo. Conduct, Safety. Also, what's the closing song?
Reagan
I don't know.
AJ
I gotta pull that out. Black Cat by Jake Smith. He's on Instagram. Jake Smithy.
Brent
Oh, and they met our closing song for. You're talking about your opening song?
AJ
Yeah. Oh, is that not okay?
Brent
We do a closing song if you watch the show, you know.
AJ
Oh, my bad. I don't. I don't watch it.
Reagan
Yes.
AJ
I never get in.
Brent
What's funny is that that song has got every video demonetized.
AJ
Yeah.
Brent
On conduct.
AJ
Yeah, we made about. We made about $10, so. Worth it.
Reagan
Worth it.
Brent
There is a path to asylum for illegals, too. They must fill an i589 petition with a year of entry to be eligible for it. If they are late, they are barred any kind of visa.
Reagan
There is another big problem with our illegals in this country, and it's not that somehow has to get addressed and figured out. And it's not just crossing the border. Illegally, it's coming in legally with a temporary visa and never leaving. And we've got to figure that out somehow, some way. Especially with technology these days. I don't know. I'm not a, I'm not against putting trackers in people. I'm tired of it.
Tyler
I mean that's, I still refuse to.
AJ
Believe they don't know where these people are. You know, there's so much.
Reagan
I can put a gps, my dog, come on. I can find where these people are.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
I'm not calling them dogs, by the way. It was. I said I could put a GPS in my dog.
Tyler
I mean, Brent, that's a, I mean that's a known penetration method for CCP with students.
Reagan
The abs. Yes, that's right. Yep. And that because if they're here on a visa, we normally, you know, only give visas to people of that students, engineers, doctors. Like something of, of worth is why you can come here and then they just stay here and it's a much quicker and easier way for, like I said, for the intel community or it's just, it's, it's just bad. We got to be able to figure it out.
Brent
Trump's EO is a good start. If they are serious about stopping illegals. The feds would go after employers when they rely on their labor example. OSHA should go after them, I think is what he's saying. The fact they aren't makes it cheap. The fact they aren't makes it pretty clear that the priorities are cheap labor.
Reagan
Here's another thing that people argue points they don't know. Like, well if we don't do that, who's going to like, we need the, the labor force. Guess what they're called work visas. Like America's not that dumb. Like we've, we've been doing this for a little bit so we can have, we can still have the same thing but through a legalized controlled manner where we know who's coming into our country. Nothing changes coming under a work visa.
Tyler
Yeah, my, my little town's a bilingual town and it is from work visas.
Reagan
Is it like a redneck and English?
Tyler
Yeah, that Gatorade question in the room. Yes, I am, I am from Big's heritage. I'm a full blooded member now. I'm a full blooded registered member North American redneck tribe. But dad's side, on dad's side, we are proud white trash.
AJ
Hell yeah, brother.
Tyler
But yeah, no, we have a Cargill turkey processing plant in the town and it pays good, but the conditions in there are horrendous. And Cargill, they started recruiting out of. Recruiting out of Mexico and bringing people.
Reagan
Up again, which is fine if. If it's through a work visa, which we. Which we can control. We know who they are.
Tyler
Yeah, we've. We've destroyed their culture. They're as redneck as I am.
Brent
Before we lose the super chat, Brian King, Brent Tyler, and Reagan. It's my wife's birthday and I'm working at the station. Could you please wish Mary a happy birthday? She's always in the chats. Happy, happy birthday.
Reagan
Happy birthday.
Brent
Do you want Brent to serenader or just say happy birthday?
AJ
Happy birthday, Mary.
Reagan
Happy birthday.
Brent
You got a good husband. Don't like birthright citizenship, but case law is pretty clear on this. United States. Vers Wong. Kim Ark. Bringing Facts. $100. Brendan Gorman Reagan, will you marry me? Oh, gosh.
Reagan
Just yes or no?
AJ
Yes, Brendan. Absolutely. Absolutely.
Brent
Where you at, Brendan?
AJ
Only 100 bucks.
Reagan
He said yes. Next Thursday, live. Gay marriage, gay fireplace firefighter.
AJ
I still remember that.
Reagan
You don't have to say gay firefighter, but you just have to say firefighter.
Brent
Yeah, I felt so bad. I'm alive in Philly. I didn't feel bad, but like, Bo was getting, like, su. So what he was saying was very, very serious. And I'm like, it's time for lightheartedness. And I brought up the gay joke, and I kind of caught him off guard. He started laughing.
AJ
That is an awesome dude, I'll tell you. My goodness.
Reagan
Got him.
AJ
I'll talk to that dude. We talked to him probably almost daily. And he's got so much wisdom in him.
Brent
Like he's gonna come on the show.
AJ
Is he good? Good. Cause I'll sit there, I'll text him. If I'm ever worried about something or I'm thinking about something, I go if it's just bothering me. And I'll text him and he'll, am I gay? Am I really gay? Am I really the gay firefighter representation. AP Burns. I remember you, but I'll just. He's got so much wisdom in him. And I'm like, that dude. He really does approach everything with love. I don't know how he does it and how he has that much like. I don't know. I don't know what you call it. Not stamina, but.
Reagan
Is wisdom a good looking guy?
AJ
It is on both. It is. See him with his shirt off.
Reagan
He's got so much wisdom in him.
AJ
Have you seen.
Brent
Flight designs? They went to Hollywood for the moon landing. And after talking about the CGI practical Offense and just overall cost. They decided to shoot the moon landing on location.
Reagan
He got me in the first half.
Brent
All right, Harold, Cornbread, Carter, Brett and Tyler, y'all are magical. Magically astronauts. Now you're stuck floating in space and one of your suits malfunctions. You have to share a suit. Who's taking front and who's taking back? We'll be floating through space, fighting for the back.
Reagan
I don't understand why. Why it has to be like that. Like, why can't we go back to back? That's true.
Brent
Butt's touching.
AJ
That's way less like parachuting.
Reagan
Yeah, it's just. Butt's touching. Never pulled a pole. Right. Hold a hole.
Brent
Brad would pull some excuse. Like, I've actually had training in the astronaut field, so I have to be.
Tyler
As long as there's no eye contact, you're fine.
Reagan
That's right. Yeah.
Brent
Bradley Cooper, would you go on Sean Ryan for a traditional interview and try to have TK conversation if given the opportunity? I'm assuming they're calling you Bradley Cooper.
Reagan
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's an insult to Bradley Cooper. It's a good question. I'd really have to. I'd really have to think about it. And there would be some prerequisite. Some prerequisites first that we'd have to talk about.
Brent
But agreed upon.
Reagan
An agreed upon outline. Not just outline of. Of that show. But, you know, he's. He's had now like a known liar on his show. And, you know, we're gonna have to, you know, something's going to have to be addressed about that before. Before I come on, or I might even say liars on the show. And that's not a hit on Sean. Of sorts. Like, it's not. It sounds like it is. Again, give Sean some time.
Brent
I think that's his best business move is to go. Not only am I going to address these issues, I'm going to have Brent Tucker come in here with his expert opinion on it, and that way he doesn't have to go, hey, I facilitated this guy on here. They can just kind of like, he can. He can own up to it, but through you.
Reagan
I don't think people love that stuff too. Now, we don't view it controversial. We know it's controversial of sorts, but we don't really consider it. When is. Why is the truth controversial? I mean. Yeah, but I think that Sean's a good dude, and I think he. That's just not the type, you know, a show he runs. And I Think he's controversial and just kind of. Oh, I wouldn't. I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants to shy away from that.
Brent
Yeah. Right. Yeah.
AJ
He does make videos, though, like, when he knows he got something wrong. So he'll, you know, he'll post his little selfie.
Brent
I mean, little, but that's little.
Reagan
It'll.
Brent
This part of the information I got wrong. Like, this one piece of the story is wrong. Right. The entire story.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
That's different. Yeah.
Reagan
And again. And in his defense, a little bit, you know, just. Just trying to be fair, like, this is a much bigger thing. Like, you know, there's a lot of things that I'm sure he has to consider. And. And look at. This is a. A whole. You messed up on a whole guest.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
You know, not just something.
Brent
Last guest.
Reagan
So we'll see. Like, it's not. It's not. It's not over. We'll see what happens on that.
Brent
We need to close the borders, get rid of the ATF and Kennedy going on food.
AJ
ATF Gay.
Brent
Kane Korsov. The big question is if President Trump's next executive order will finally release Yousef from Gitmo. He's only a boy.
Reagan
He's just a boy.
Brent
Brent, weirdest or most surprising thing found when doing SSC on mission. Do you get specific SSE training?
Reagan
I wouldn't call it sse, but I guess it kind of is. Pull on a guy's hand and having it come off and be a prosthetic hand.
AJ
What's ready for that?
Reagan
That'll surprise you.
Tyler
Yeah.
AJ
Ssc. What's that?
Reagan
Sensitive sight exploitation. It's, you know, like plays with your butthole. No. No. Nope.
AJ
Just asking. AJ was one before the show. First thing he asked me when he walked the.
Reagan
It's. It's when we become cops. And now. And, you know, after Target Secure, we become cops, and now it's a crime scene of. So, you know, we're collecting evidence, we're taking pictures, we're saying, you know, we're showing. This is where I found this document in this room. And we're connecting evidence to. To the. To the people that we're.
Brent
Are you time for that? Like, I. I only. The only thing I can pop in my head is Zero Dark Thirty, when they took down bin Laden and they were on a time constraint to do all that. Do you typically have all the time you need, or is that. Is that quick?
Reagan
We can do it quick. Both. It really. It depends on. We obviously like to operate in the night, so it depends on, you know, travel time, what time we got there, how long it took to, you know, and to make sure we can still get out of here under daylight. But generally speaking, we're not very rushed on that. What takes longer than SSE is tactical questioning. Talking to all the different people on target is usually the takes the longest amount of time.
Brent
Brent, do you know about Scott Man Green Scott Man, Green Beret and the weight of his intel on the imminent threat of the US Homeland?
Reagan
No, not going to look that up.
Brent
Brent, do you know about Scott Man Green Beret Man Scott man with two ends?
Reagan
Okay, that'll help.
Brent
Batman Union. When is TK getting deported? Somebody asked about Tom Lennon said, how about a Godsmack song, Brent? And I could not agree more. I love Godsmack.
Reagan
Yeah, we're all new metal fans here. Yeah, dude, do an old School Gods back song. I'll be looking at that at the end. See if. See if one's.
Brent
Oh, quiz. You're gonna know the answer to this. Where'd Godsmack get their name from?
Reagan
Oh, I actually feel like I know this when you tell them to me. Feel like I'm gonna know because I love this. These little history like quiz things. What do you got?
Brent
Alice in Chainsong.
Reagan
I did not know. Did not know. Did not know. Is that really okay?
Brent
That.
AJ
Oh, okay.
Brent
Coalition asset traveling with NATO Allied Partner or catnap is a prestigious position only TK could fill. Disgusting. Barton, Tyler, tj. It's Dougie Fresh. Dol.
Tyler
Yeah. Hey, I figured it out there, Officer Dangle.
Reagan
No Dol. Depressed. Yeah, I get it.
Brent
Okay, you got a request. Google on air.
Reagan
They want you to Google this on air. Oh, gosh.
Brent
Can you see the USA flag with a telescope on the moon? And set the record straight.
Reagan
Okay.
Brent
Can't be having that bs. Even Google has to fold on that one. Appreciate you guys. Christ is king.
Reagan
I feel like this is gonna end well for me.
Brent
I feel like it's not gonna end.
AJ
Well for CGI if it is there at cgi. Is that what it's called, cgi?
Brent
It's AI. We blame everything on AI.
AJ
But what's the. What's the. Where they get the. The pictures and they put them together. What is it? Cgi. Right. Okay, I want to act like I.
Reagan
Know what I'm talking about. Well, no, that's just special effect. I think like CGI is when, like it's a computer animated, like in motion. Right?
Brent
From Jurassic Park.
Reagan
I'm a slow typer.
AJ
You're telling me how the earth is flat.
Brent
Can you tell Me more about that.
AJ
Can you tell me is it just like a giant ring around.
Tyler
I know a dude that fell off.
Brent
What'd you find, Brent?
Reagan
I'm right.
Brent
Brent. Tyler, any thoughts on doing an episode on Robert. Hold on, let me hold on.
Reagan
I have to, I have to correct the record. You cannot see the American flag for the moon from a telescope. The flag is too small to see from distance of the moon. Get a bigger flag. That's right. The moon is about 238,000 miles from Earth. The smallest objects that can be seen on the moon are about a mile across. The largest flag on the moon is one left by Apollo 17 which is 6ft wide. The resolution of Earth based telescopes is not enough to see the flag. Here's the problem because I didn't say the telescope was an Earth based telescope. You don't know where my telescope's at. My telescope, my telescope, secret telescope was on. This was on the space station. Much closer. And that one can see the flag.
AJ
Yeah, there's still.
Reagan
Right.
Brent
The Delta Force has telescopes that are 10 years in advanced technology.
Reagan
All right, now I gotta think of a different way to, to try to prove my, my point on the.
Brent
Well he even said but. But the proof that you looked up did say that Apollo 17 left a flag.
Reagan
Oh, there you go.
Brent
They're just saying that you can't see it, but it's there. That's my co host Brett and Tyler. Any thoughts on doing an episode on Robert Rogers Rangers and the 20 points of the Ranger Creed from 1759. Compare then versus now. We need a ranger to do that. That would be cool.
Reagan
That's a good one. Just met one at shot show that I wanted to come on. We've had rangers but not true Rangers. They were Ranger. Not just that, but they were Ranger. When I say true Ranger, that's a little bit misleading. But they were, they were in Ranger battalion for a short period of time before they wouldn't be a green break. You know like I want, I want, I want a 1014 year Ranger bag.
Brent
Still got a high.
Reagan
Lived it.
AJ
Like what's the difference the life between you said tab.
Reagan
Yeah. Well once one's a school and one's an actual military unit.
Brent
Like a qualifier tab. Like if you have a ranger tab, that means you went through Ranger school which is in its own a great feat. But then there's Ranger battalions that have a scroll and that's like your unit patch. That's where you, you serve with a Ranger battalion.
AJ
So you not only went through school, but yes okay.
Reagan
This is a bad way to explain, but I feel like people understand a little better. You can go to jump school and you're airborne and you just jumped out of planes during that school. But if you didn't go to an airborne unit, you're not jumping out of planes all the time. You like you just went to jump school. That's different than being in an airborne unit. Right?
AJ
Okay.
Tyler
Yeah, that's. That's kind of the way I look at my long tab. It was like I attended special forces qualification, you know, not really qualified.
Reagan
So.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
Yeah.
Tyler
Okay.
Reagan
But your beret says you're doing the job.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
No.
Brent
Any chance you guys get General Miller on the show? I don't know who that is.
Reagan
Slim chance.
AJ
Who's that?
Reagan
That's a serial. Nope, that's not a serial. General Miller was a former unit commander and he's like I want a two or three star. I think he just retired. I haven't. I gotta go check. But he was high ranking general.
Brent
The infantry.
Reagan
I'd love to interview Mattis.
Brent
The infantry has entered the chat with $50 Jordan Mats. Who is more eregious with the line? Tim Kennedy or the wholesale community?
Reagan
Oh, gosh. I'm still gonna say Tim Kennedy.
Brent
A couple people have asked our super chats get lost if we don't cover them fast enough. We gotta figure out a way to fix that. A couple people have been asking about Slab and Chapman. If there's any updates on that. Why no one is moving to remove Solinsky's metals. God, that was. We need to get Kubler on or Kubler back on to do a whole new.
Reagan
He definitely would love to cover that. That's for sure. That's right up his alley.
Brent
Matt.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
Where are you at?
Reagan
Jesus. In the chat.
Brent
Well, yeah. Correcting us.
Reagan
Yeah. I don't need anyone else to correct me tonight.
Brent
Raven 2, 3. Question for you all. Since the cartel is a terrorist group now meant to cover that Trump has determined that they are deemed them terrorist groups.
Reagan
Nice. I agree with that.
Brent
Narco terror. Well, it's not even called narco terror anymore. They are terrorist organizations.
Reagan
I agree with that.
AJ
And they're specifically wanting to put. Put Green Berets on that. Right. And that. Isn't that what I saw.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
On the.
Brent
I think.
Reagan
I'm sure news.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
But we talked about this a little bit. I'm sure they will be. But not. Not at the level that. Yeah. You would think it won't be at a Hollywood level.
AJ
Okay.
Brent
Do y'all think.
Reagan
But they will definitely have an impact on it through. Through what they do?
AJ
No.
Brent
Do you think it'll be a deterrent for politicians in China working with the cartels? Probably.
Reagan
Well, I don't know. Nothing really seems to deter China, you know, to be honest with you, this. They're. They're a lot more brazen, you know, than. Than we are. I don't. Yeah.
Brent
Back man paid us 50 bucks. Conduct. Let them know the problem in the fire service. It's like a bunch of Tim Kennedy's.
AJ
As chiefs, all these DEI lesbian chiefs.
Reagan
Oh, the Christian out there. The Kristen.
AJ
Yeah, the Kristen Crowleys. The. The DEI bureaus, they're allocating $3 million a year they created. Did you hear about. So they created a DEI bureau at the LA Fire Department and they took away 18 million from their. From their budget.
Reagan
Go on.
AJ
And then. And so now they have a whole bureau of just DEI on how to welcome their new members to the fire department.
Reagan
One of the 3 million yearly. Like that's.
AJ
And so. And that, that. And whenever people say we don't have enough money and all that stuff, I think it's total. I think it's total. Yeah. No, because when they allocate 24 mil or 24 billion. Excuse me, with a B.
Brent
How many.
AJ
24 billion to homeless people in 2019.
Reagan
And. And what. And what have. This is what kills me at the homeless thing. I get really. And it's gotten worse. Show me what? Anything. That if you allocate money to a problem, you expect results from that problem. Like that's. And.
Brent
Right. 20 million. And if there's no homeless people. 20 million well spent. Yeah.
AJ
Like that's. That's.
Reagan
In a weird way, I'm not. This is gonna sound odd, but I'm not upset that they tried that because I would never try it. But guess what? There's probably. There's a good reason that you don't want me running this country. I've. I don't have enough empathy, you know, for people. So for. For someone else to try that. I sit back and I go, well, maybe like. Like, let me see how this works out. And of course it worked out the same way we thought it'd work out. But I'm glad someone tried it. But what they should do is say on us, guys, we learned something. You can't throw money at the homeless problem and fix it. But they didn't. They won't say anything about it. They won't take the L and they won't switch their position on it. And that's insanity.
AJ
Well, the problem is too, if you try tracking the money and seeing where it went and like, I think they, they gave like a hundred thousand dollars to the LA Gay Men's Choir Club is. That's what it's called.
Reagan
You know how we feel about choirs.
AJ
And this is what they call publicly funded choirs. Remember the kid, the guys that were saying, we're coming after your kids during COVID Yeah. The guys think that's that club.
Tyler
Wow.
AJ
And so they gave a bunch of money to them. Another, and this is the name, it was called the Trans Rights.
Brent
That's what they should call their choir.
AJ
So you're only able to track up to like, I think it's, I don't know, a couple million dollars and all the, the rest of the $23 billion. You have no idea where it went. It's like California is like a black hole for, for just funding in general.
Brent
Firefighter shortages.
AJ
Oh, God. So. Well, even to her credit to the lesbian chief over there in LA, she said on, on air that were 63 fire stations down.
Brent
That's a whole ass building.
Reagan
63 fire stations down.
AJ
Which means if you average, if you just put four people per shift, generally departments have three shifts.
Reagan
Okay. Shift.
AJ
Correct.
Reagan
Look at me, you'd be a firefighter.
AJ
Because I know I'm not that gay yet, but. So if you average that out to three shifts, it's 756 firefighters. But most stations have like dual company or they'll have an ambulance. And so I would say it's probably a thousand firefighters that they're down and they have 1,000.
Brent
So. You brought up a great point. Calls for service in any type of first responder industry, as time, as time goes, they go up. So 20 years ago, there was way less calls for 911 than there are now. Because we grow as a society, we have more mentally ill problems, we have more problems in general. Call volume is always going to go up. It's never going to go down. Yeah, they have less firefighters now than they did 20 years ago.
AJ
Reagan
All right, now I got a question for you. And I love, I love having a firefighter on the show. We don't, we don't do it often enough. And I agree.
AJ
You should give us more representation.
Reagan
I understand why, like the numbers for cops are down because it's, yeah, it's the perception of being a cop. It's not a rewarding job, like to do your job and get in trouble for it.
Brent
Right.
Reagan
You guys don't have that, that problem. A lot of people want to be a firefighter. Why are. Why is there a shortage of firefighters? And then. And how do you fix it?
AJ
So it's just a different problem. Okay, so same thing. So recruitment has gone down, especially for cops, as you just stated. But same for. For fire departments. I remember when I was testing, this was in 2013, 2014, we'd go to a testing site and there'd be thousands of people. And then as over the years, when I was trying to come back to Texas, when I was in Mexico, I would go and there'd be a couple hundred people. And then you can already write off like 3/4 of them because they're smoking weed or they're. They have a bad record or whatever. So you're really only testing against like a hundred dudes. And it used to be thousands. And I don't know if that's just a culture thing or less. People are like. People in the job aren't actively talking about how much they love it like they used to, because I think, I would think it's a. Accumulation of things. Because even to even like a lot of departments are still starting at 50 grand a year, you know, and looking at inflation, to sleep and play video.
Brent
Games, that's not a bad gig.
AJ
But I mean, we have cops come over and play games too. When I use your bathroom. Get the out. But when you just. If you just look at a graph of inflation and over the years, like when guys will say when I started, I was making 30 grand a year. Your 30 grand a year doesn't even. Doesn't stretch as far as 80 grand today. Right. You know, cost of living is eight to 10 times. And back then when houses were get.
Reagan
The Christians were making like 400,000 and 500.
AJ
Yes, she was making 530. What's even crazier than that is the water department. How much do you think the general manager made of the water?
Brent
I know, so I'm not gonna say.
AJ
So.
Reagan
I would if you just took a guess. Well, judging by the water shortage, I'm. I'm surprised there is a manager there.
AJ
Right?
Tyler
Yeah, exactly.
Reagan
Who's managing it.
AJ
Exactly. 750. 750 grand with a previous general manager of the water department was making. 430. Why the jump?
Reagan
We're in the wrong business. We're in the wrong business.
AJ
She barely spoke English. So, I mean, it's not racist, it's just truth.
Reagan
Yeah. It's just a fact. All right, so I got another question for you real quick. Keep it going. We'll get way behind the super chats and other things. But it's a tough question and because what you're saying, I think the answer is a little bit different than the same question in the police department, which is this. You're short by a thousand. Right. Do you lower the standards to. And to. Is it. What's worse being that short or lowering the standards to ensure you have people there that can at least answer the call? And that's always a really tough decision. It's hard to make. What are your thoughts on that? Because it's a. It is a little bit of a different thing in the fire department.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
Or could be like, you know, you would know better. So I'm asking you.
AJ
I agree. I think it's a little bit different. Like, but as specifically to la, as far as their numbers, I know they have huge turns, turnouts every year, like they have, they have thousands regardless. But it's the dei, what's where you can apply to take the test and, and you got to wait seven years. Who is the guy that.
Brent
Adam Corolla.
AJ
Adam Corolla, yeah.
Reagan
Adam Carolla was just formally.
AJ
And he was back.
Reagan
Yeah.
AJ
And he was just talking and he said I had to wait seven years just to even test because he's a white male. The lady behind him was a black chick and she, he asked her, he said, when did you, you know, register to test? Thinking she'd say a couple of years. She said Wednesday.
Tyler
Wow.
Reagan
That was.
AJ
That was her. So Wednesday. And so to the back that I had friends from when I was in New Mexico. A lot of guys would come from New Mexico to or from California to New Mexico to get their experience, by the way, to apply to LA or San Diego or wherever. And they all said, yeah, you never put white, you never put Caucasian male. You put N A or you make some shit up.
Reagan
That's crazy. So. So it's actually a pretty simple. So you don't have to decide one or the other.
AJ
It's the guys are there.
Reagan
Yeah, the guys are there. Hire them.
Brent
So law enforcement is not the same issue. They are having no one show up. So they are having to lower the standards to put boots on ground. And when you do that now you're dealing with a culture of cops that are the lower standard. And I'm not taking a dig at these people as at them as people. But it used to be what'd you do before you're a cop? Like I was in the military, you know, I did this. I was straight out of college. All I wanted to be Is a cop. All I wanted to do is lock up bad guys. As soon as I graduated, I applied for the police academy. Now it's. I was just kind of bored at my other job. I wanted adventure.
AJ
Why'd you go? Why'd you change your voice?
Brent
Because they're not dominant men. I gotta be careful how I wore this. But there's people that I work with that are new, that are senior citizens. Multiple of them with no fear that as a senior citizen, what could happen if somebody doesn't wanna be arrested? When you go to arrest them and it shows, because they'll show their capabilities of being a cop. And you're like, so you're never going to be in this situation anyways. Yeah, they're lowering the standards because they have to. Yeah.
Tyler
No, you know, police, that's a. That's a societal problem. But LA County Fire. Hollywood can fix this themselves. They can do it internally.
Brent
The movie industry.
Tyler
Yeah. Backdraft 2.
Brent
Good.
Tyler
Backdraft 2.
Brent
Backdraft 2. No, no, remake. It's got to be a remake. Backdraft remake back. It had the guy from the NFL in it, didn't it? The Raiders player.
AJ
I forget. I watched a little bit. I was pissed. It was horrible.
Reagan
Backdraft was a bad movie.
AJ
The second one.
Brent
Oh, I heard Fireproof was a great.
Reagan
Oh, that was a good movie.
AJ
We'll watch it tonight.
Reagan
You know. Oh, I'm. I wanna.
AJ
How do you know about that?
Reagan
I wanna be a firefighter. Maybe pull the. Pull the. The chat. What do you think about doing, like, movie reviews? Like, not every. Not every, like, Thursday, but, like, randomly. If you're on here, do like a. Like, short clips of Backdraft and be, like, real. Not real. What's up with this? Like, cop movies, firefighter movies, special operation movies.
AJ
The cop would probably be really good too, because. Yeah, they're always doing wild and jumping over hoods and. Yeah, but that would be good.
Reagan
But as always, there's always a little bit of truth, you know, to it. Yeah, they used to do that. You know, unless you're Tim Kennedy, you don't have. You don't need any truth for your story.
Brent
Yeah, that would be up to Drew on whether or not he could pull in all that video, talk about it.
Reagan
That's a good idea. Yeah, I think it'd be fun. Like, I don't, like, the first Thursday of every month or something like that. I don't know. All right.
Brent
Whiskey Tango, Fox Trot said so do you guys have a brick and mortar store in Orlando? Sent you Guys, an IG Messages read and no response. All right, I'm going to adjust the IG messages. There's multiple people in our accounts. I can't. If I open a message, I will at least heart it. But we have thousands of unopened messages in our main folder, in our request folder, in our general folder. So we typically tell people, don't. If you're trying to reach out to us, use an email or something. Don't use or join Patreon. We answer Patreon. Messages. Messages. It's cheap. It's three or five dollars, and you have direct contact with us. But. So if someone opened your message and left it on red, that does look really unprofessional. I'm sorry, but I have seen that, and I didn't open it. But I can't vouch for everybody, but we'll do better as a team to at least heart your message. We're not ignoring you. Brick and mortar store. No, we don't. But we do have our new studio where we can be seen hanging out. If you ever wanted to come, get in contact with us via email. And maybe you can come sit in a live or something. Or come shoot the shit one day if we're hanging out. That was awkward.
Tyler
Make one list if you want to.
Brent
Come hang out with us. I might be wearing clothes, I might not.
Tyler
Yeah. Skip one. One drink a month and be an og.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
Tyler, as an outsider looking in, what is your view on intelligence?
AJ
What does that mean?
Brent
Be the fucking retarded, I guess.
Reagan
Oh, that is a.
AJ
That is true.
Brent
What did I do to you?
AJ
Oh, do you read a book?
Brent
I can't read. Good guys. Did you guys play cowboys and Indians as kids? If I could go back in time, would you be a cowboy or an Indian? Yeah, we played cops and robbers. I did never. Never. Cowboys and Indians.
Reagan
Yeah. Cops and robbers. Yeah. Drew's older, so always made me the robber.
Brent
Well, it's because you like to listen to rap music. Hey, boys. Big fan from Australia. Keep up the top. Quick question for y'all. If you got a proof stuck in your. If you've got a poofa stuck in your back, what would you do? Pull them off or leave them there. Cheers.
Reagan
What's a poofa?
AJ
Yeah, is it like a loop? You talking about a loofah?
Reagan
I don't think a loofah would be stuck in your back. I'm scared to Google this.
Brent
Okay, well, apparently, that was my friend that asked me that.
Reagan
How was it spelled? How's poofa?
Brent
Spelled P O O F A. I just.
Reagan
Just. What do you got? That's not how it's spelled, Drew. Thank you. P O O F A B O O F a poofa.
Tyler
It's British.
Brent
Yeah, because he's Australian. British.
Tyler
Yeah, it's.
Brent
Let's put another shrimp on the bobby.
Tyler
That's a Commonwealth slang term.
Reagan
I don't know. Dang it. Yep. Right back. Right back in English, but yeah, an American. Right back in American.
Brent
Taylor Atlee. He was the one that asked me about intelligence on the subject of the VA shorts. Veterans. Use your patients advocate line. Get the doctors. You are stonewalled. Request community care. I saw that a lot in the comments. Request community care. If able, use the security messages and make sure that they are not contracted facility. Good to know. Have you heard that Tim Kennedy is making a movie? He's replacing Ben Stiller for the movie Simple Jack.
Reagan
He'd take it. He'll take anything, you know, I mean, like, he'll take it.
Brent
Donut shop. What's up, boys? And we're. Justin, what's up? And we are caught up. So there is another video that I wanted to watch. But before that. Oh, yeah, we are gonna hear from our sponsors. We weren't able to get the image up yet, were we? For Shell Shock. Oh, we got it. Let's do it.
Reagan
You know, there's basically a thousand people in here and we're a thousand people short from 100k in our YouTube subscribers.
Brent
Oh, we're gonna make it.
Reagan
I want it. I want it.
Brent
This episode is brought to you by this live is brought to you by. Shell Shock. Cbd. They got the rack out. Sleepy time. CBD gummies. No THC in them. So if you work for an agency or you're in the military and you want to take cbd, most don't let you. However, there's no traces of THC in this, which is why they wouldn't let you in the first place. These are triple checked. Guaranteed. No thc. Get yourself a good night's sleep. Get a perfect night's sleep or your money back, guaranteed. They also do have THC products if you so choose to use them. So go to Shell Shock. They support us. And it's owned by John Burke. He's a good dude.
Reagan
Heck, yeah.
Brent
And then we'll play our commercials for my boys, Big John.
Reagan
Hey, guys. I want to introduce our latest sponsor, Brotherhood Blades. Is that what first responders by cops. They make it the way they do because they know what the job means. Everything is handmade or Machined in the usa. Their blades are made to be used and abused because they have some of the best super steels offered. With the use of super steels, general care is limited. You can use it and forget about it without the fear of rusting something first responders are good at. Lifetime warranties come with every blade that cover pretty much anything other than losing your blade or using it to perform outlandish tasks they wouldn't usually use the blade for. Probably like using it as a screwdriver, something we've all done. They have a lifetime sharpening. You only pay one way shipping. If you want to head over to their custom page, your imagination is their limitation. They'll try anything once they've outfitted numerous teams without blades and have customized the blades to their specifications including custom lasering sheath, color schemes and sheath attachments. Head on over to brotherhoodblades.com and get you one. And by the way, I'm not just a spokesman for them, I'm a customer. I carry theirs every day with me and I wouldn't be talking about them if I didn't trust their product promo code.
Brent
Anti Hero 10.
Reagan
Seracode is what we are known for, but we do a lot more. How Arms is a disabled veteran owned business specializing in custom firearm creation and gunsmithing. Richard Howe, the company's founder, is a two tour army combat veteran of the Afghanistan conflict. After his service, Richard earned his degree in marketing and founded Howell Arms using both the skills from his time in the army and his college degree. Richard's goal for How Arms is to redesign and customize firearms that are both both reliable and combat proven. Our entire team is comprised solely of disabled veterans or family members. This is not a self feature but a choice to help other veterans transition into civilian life with a purpose and support network.
AJ
And we're back.
Reagan
And we're back. I, I saw Rick over at a chat show. Yeah, we could hang out with Rick for a bit and hang out with the guys from Beretta and, and Rick.
Brent
Rick is hiring I think 17 disabled veterans in the next year and a half and he's asked us to do a call of arms for him. Apparently we've already got a couple guys that are, have hit him up. They're interested and so if you're willing to move to outside of Greensboro, North Carolina he'll give you a full time job. He'll, he'll help you facilitate where to live and all that good stuff. So hit up Rick Howell from HAL Arms if you want a job.
Reagan
All right, quiet down everybody. Oh, I need everybody to be quiet real quick. I needed to do that to prove to the chats that I do have the power to quiet everybody down.
Brent
They questioned that.
Reagan
Damn it. The second reason is we got a lot of new listeners right now. Let's reintroduce our guests in the middle, please. Reintroduce the guests.
Brent
Yeah. So we got Reagan. He is the owner of Conduct Unbecoming and co host of the Unbecoming podcast. Probably the best firefighter podcast to get your source for real information what's going on in the fire industry. And I was going to leave you to say anything.
AJ
Best source of information. Yeah. Thank you for that intro. Yeah, we just basically we want to hold accountable those who hold us accountable. So for a long time there hasn't been anybody speaking out against these chiefs or admin or city council that are basically screwing over people that are in the industry that are doing the right job. And we just do our best to hold them accountable and speak our mind about it. So thanks for joining.
Brent
Yeah. And you can find their podcast you Roger. Okay.
AJ
You can heard a lot doing multiple.
Brent
Find them underneath the umbrella of Counterculture Inc. They are our. Our sister podcasts, if you will. They're bringing good numbers. They just got on audio though.
AJ
Finally, finally.
Brent
You're just a YouTube thing.
AJ
So. Yeah, we were just on YouTube and then we just got over on Spotify and now we're working on Apple.
Brent
I was like, are you ever gonna get us numbers? Because that doesn't do a on YouTube, dude.
AJ
And then the whole. I still don't understand it, but I'm just.
Brent
That's what I say.
AJ
I still don't understand it, but I'm.
Reagan
Still just get under the wing.
Brent
We got you with all of this stuff. I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time. I don't think Drew's getting it. He's actually becoming a real sound engineer and a non formally educated sound engineer.
AJ
Yeah. He yelled at me. Quiet in the room.
Brent
Quiet in the room. Get out.
AJ
I immediately I said, yes, sir and I ran out. I ran.
Brent
We all ran. AJ, what about you?
Tyler
Yeah, AJ Jackson with the follow on mission. We're a veterans line 501C3 providing adrenaline therapy through endurance motorsports to military veterans, first responders at no charge to the individual.
Reagan
Love it. Adrenaline therapy. I do. I love that.
AJ
Straight to the veins.
Tyler
Absolutely. Yeah.
AJ
Yeah.
Tyler
We strap you into the freedom machine and let the.
Brent
What happens? So, all right, so they. They go to therapy. They do one session with you and then is it do they kind of like teach them how to like do it themselves or do they have. Can they come back or is that one time enough to settle there?
Tyler
No, it's fully immersion. If you drive with us, you're part of the team. It's like being back on a detachment again. You upload the car, you prep the car when you're not driving. Now when you're in the car, it's an eight hour race. You're going to be driving for an hour and a half to two hours at a time. When you're not driving, you're part of the crew. You're going to be filming timing, changing tires. You're part of the crew, part of.
Brent
The team and you drive Miatas.
Reagan
No, no, there are some Miatas though that are kind of like the starter race cars that people drive because they're cheap and they, they move. They're little go karts.
AJ
Was that the MV7 like the one that you'd see in Fast and Furious or whatever where they don't. I don't think they had.
Brent
Yeah, they had Toyota Supras.
AJ
No, they had, they had the, some Mazda.
Brent
No, I didn't make Miata.
Reagan
I didn't, I didn't watch Fast and Furious.
Brent
Is that, is Miata its own company or is that a type Mazda Miata. That's what it is.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
Made my mom, I have a buddy at work that wanted to buy a Miata.
Reagan
We've already spent too much time on the Miata section.
AJ
I do like the sou of that though.
Brent
Dropping off.
Reagan
It was just dropping off. Like we're away from Y.
AJ
That's way better than sending someone to freaking a therapist.
Brent
Well, I mean, cuz a lot of people go take ayahuasca. So you're a different alternative to PTSD treatment.
AJ
You take ayahuasca then go do the take Ayahuasca.
Reagan
That's right. To marry it up.
Tyler
No, we get your, we get your body. You're feeling adrenaline and cortisol again, but recreational environment I give you a shot at.
Reagan
How's the poll doing? Drew shut it down.
AJ
Mazda riding rx seven guys excited. That's what it is.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
Oh, I said Miata. It's probably Rx.
AJ
Yeah.
Tyler
Our series.
Reagan
Champ Car series.
Tyler
It's all right.
Reagan
So the poll, we got 230 votes in. 68 says yes. 31. 68 says yes.
Brent
What was the poll?
Reagan
Basically, should we do movie breakdowns? 70, 30.
Brent
Oh, speaking of movies, Harold Cornbrand Carter. I've started working on short films, specifically horror, military based what would Yalls criteria to be featured in one or something? Yeah, you gotta invite us. I've never been in a movie.
Reagan
Yeah, I don't know. It's a good question.
Brent
It's got to be would you act or would you. Would you just want a shooter that said a cool one liner and a cigar like got him and that's it?
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
Or do you want Brent to act?
Reagan
Yeah, I'd only do Arnold. Arnold. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Cheesy one liners. Like hit him with something cold and be like, cool off, cool off, chill.
AJ
I'll be back.
Brent
There's. Are there any gay scenes? That's a no.
AJ
Hell yeah. Still straight.
Brent
Still straight. I've been called by team leaders. Does that count as disabled?
Reagan
Yeah, you got one witness.
Brent
Ray Gay. Best advice for. And they spelled it Ray Gay. Not reggae the music, but called you gay. Best advice for tired firemen who just want to be firemen but have the entire admin of nerds who have no seniority or experience and climb the ladder through training or EMS with their fancy degrees and bullshit. Wow, he's pissed.
AJ
Yeah, that was a lot. I'm like, this is.
Reagan
This is. He's gonna be a listener.
AJ
I wanted to say something funny, but I'll try to give you something serious. The best way that I've seen and heard from people that are better than me is implementing a culture of fast search. So if you implement instead of water supply as your second do, implement your second do as search. That'll automatically make you a more aggressive department. So I mean, we got a thousand gallons on most apparatus, you know, anywhere from 750 to a thousand gallons if you implement search.
Brent
What's apparatus plural?
Reagan
Apparati.
Brent
Is it really? I didn't know that.
AJ
I would have believed you.
Reagan
If you would have fit with confidence.
AJ
I would have started saying that implementing a search culture will automatically, I think improve culture at the fire at your fire department all around. Like it'll. It'll trickle in so many different ways than just instead of you trying to fight all these little individual battles. If you can just implement an aggressive search like I said, instead of. Instead of going and doing water supply as your second do. Because everyone knows that first do is going to be a fire attack. Second do. Generally most departments, they'll do water supply. You got plenty of fucking water. Implement search.
Reagan
Not la.
AJ
The only way that we know that a building is unoccupied until the fire department says so. So that alone will start to trickle and change every aspect of the department. I believe if you just wanted to implement one thing to change that instead of fighting all those individual battles.
Brent
Non nerds. What is everybody up in arms? When I say up in arms, I'm not like talking down on it. What's everybody so pissed about? Because you tell me all the time, but I've never really asked, like, fuck safety and all this stuff. Like, are they telling you that you can't go in structures?
AJ
Well, so there's a good example. Danny Dwyer, that guy, he was with Atlanta Fire for, I believe it was like 18 years. So he's a good public example. Not. It's a good public example to give people to show exactly how the safety culture and just ego gets in the way. Danny Dwyer was basically fired for freelancing, quote, unquote. So they got on scene. He was with Atlanta Fire for, I believe it was 18 or 19 years. The dude, they, they fight fire every day. They know what they're doing. And they got on scene and I, I don't remember the story. I think the battalion chief on scene was basically telling not to go or. Oh, no, I'm sorry. He was, they were. He was. He was in there just doing a search off the interior crew. So you can. You don't have to be like, you don't have to have contact with interior crew. Even if you don't have visibility, you can be within. You can be like, hey, you still there? And you know, have contact. But he was just searching off the hand line, found a lady, pulled her out. But the chief on scene or someone had a hard on for getting him in trouble. And by him being in there working off the handline with a separate crew other than his own, they said he was freelancing and they fired him.
Brent
Freelancing is just being a cowboy.
AJ
It's just. Yeah. So just essentially not doing what command told you to do. And then being unaccounted for, which he was accounted for, he. They do this same scenario they do all the time. It's not anything new. It's not like it was. Someone saw an opportunity to get him in trouble and they fired.
Tyler
Yeah.
AJ
And, and, and I'll be honest, I think a majority of the fires that we go on, like, there's a. There's a lot of times we are freelancing. That we are. Because there's. There's so much going on, you cannot see a thing when you're in these buildings.
Reagan
Yeah.
AJ
And you're, you're talking like, you can't. If you don't have these voice amplifiers, you can't understand what anybody's saying. So I would say it's. It's going to be just chief's egos and then safety and red tape in between actually going in and putting water on the fire. And it's such a. So, so fucking simple. But it's.
Brent
Are they arguing that it's just property that you're saving? So we don't want to risk it. Are they saving. Are they saying that people are going to be at risk?
AJ
Well, so here's the.
Brent
Here's the law enforcement goes with that. When we talk about a lot of things for property crimes, we don't risk as much because of the risk, you know, versus reward. So I didn't know if that was the same thing, like, let it burn. We don't want to risk firefighters.
AJ
Right, but you also don't know if, you know, grandma is in the back of, you know, in the house by herself and no one, no one knows. Like, and this, this happens often.
Brent
Okay, so when you said it's not clear of people until we say it, that means you have to go figure out if it's clear if people.
AJ
Yeah, exactly.
Brent
Because if it's a house, if it's a burning building. Burning structure, fully engulfed, and you have. And you, let's say first, you have until you have certified intelligence from somebody that came out that said there's no one in there, are you guys going to go in? Typically, as a fire culture.
AJ
What do you mean certified intelligent? Because we get told that all the time and we find people in there.
Brent
Really? So if I came out of that building, I said it was just me, I'm out.
AJ
Yeah.
Brent
You guys are still going to treat it as people are in there.
AJ
Yeah. You're still going to go in and do your search. Because what information we get, it depends on the house, too. I mean, most residential houses, you know, 2,000 square feet, we go in there, like, what does it take to do a search of the house?
Reagan
It's.
AJ
We get information all the time. That is wonky. We'll go on, we'll get a call for a cut finger and someone's shot in the head or something. You know, it's, you know, and I know you guys deal with that, so we'll still do our due diligence. There. There's been call. There was a call when I was in New Mexico where that same scenario happened. And then there was someone in the back bedroom. The dude that came out, tie shit.
Brent
You know, and on all forgot his buddy was back there.
AJ
Someone was back there. So and so we still have to, because it's still on us if we go in that building. And.
Brent
But they're telling you now not to go in there.
AJ
So it depends. So when I. When I was telling them earlier, I said, prioritize search instead of water supply. So first new engine is doing fire attacks. So all you're doing is fighting that fire. You're gonna have two people on a handline fighting that fire. You have no one searching the house. Whenever there's a house on fire, if this blue. If this room lit up, it would be full of smoke. If you were sitting on that couch, you would die in a few minutes because of smoke inhalation. That's what the majority of fire deaths are related or deaths related to a fire are because of smoke inhalation, not actually being burned. So searching stuff because when it's on.
Reagan
Fire like that, you can't see anything.
AJ
Exactly, exactly. But so it's important to do it quickly. That's why quick search is important to life. That's why every second counts, every minute counts.
Brent
You have to put safety on the back burner.
AJ
Yeah, we have safety. We have million dollar apparatus. One engine is about $1.5 million nowadays. So you have a million dollar apparatus with probably another $200,000 worth of gear. You got 10 to $20,000 on your body, all the training, however much that's worth, you can go in and do a search. But they're saying it's too dangerous for you to search off the hand line or search without an adequate water supply. But I completely disagree with that. You don't need an adequate water supply to do a search of the building. You don't need all these extra. I mean, we do morning checks every morning. We do hose testing every year. Everything works when we get on the scene. All right, well, we don't need all these extra.
Reagan
Not if you're in la.
Brent
Yeah, we'll talk, actually. Well, so we're shooting. We're shooting your episode tomorrow. So we'll probably dive deep into that and have more, better. More better questions for you.
AJ
More better?
Brent
Yeah. Rather than me just kind of trying to understand firefighting and you.
AJ
I'll bring it down for it. We have applications too, if you want one.
Brent
Airborne homestead said TK I heard is putting himself in for the bronze star with valor for Ruck Marsh. He did in D.C. this weekend. Dude makes soft community look bad. Someone donated to Timmy's grenade fund.
AJ
Hell yeah.
Brent
Hey, Bart, Are you ready for Tim Kennedy photo shoot at the border? Give it a week yeah.
Reagan
Oh, for sure.
Brent
Clothes aunt are Harold Kornbread. Carter says he asked us to come on as his short film Clothes on. Haha. I'd want y'all to be a disciplinary board, dark, intense murder board type scene. I've been looking for notable guys, but celeb vets suck. Yeah, they do.
Reagan
They do.
Brent
TK will do it.
Reagan
Yeah, well, usually for a guy who's, you know, chomping at the bits to be everywhere. He was supposed to be at Shot Show Range day.
Brent
I was gonna ask you, was he there?
Reagan
He was not at Shot show range day.
Brent
Was he at Shot show period?
Reagan
He came in today when I left. Coincidence? I don't know.
Brent
Did you take that picture?
Reagan
The. No. So I sent it to me. What else was. He wasn't at the. The Green Beret reunion, which he usually is. I just. I think obviously this year is a very different year for him.
Brent
How was Shot Show?
Reagan
It was good. I mean, it's, it's. It's. Shot show is a show. It just. It is so me boo booth. So many vendors, so many events to go to, so many people to. To. To talk to. It's just a lot. But it is kind of a necessary evil, you know? At the, at the same time.
AJ
How many people are there at that?
Reagan
Gosh, a hundred thousand. I mean, it's. It's okay.
Brent
I. I could be wrong, but I would never do shots. Shot show to me sounds like the. When you're a kid and you're like. It's the who's who. Like, you go into the party, bro, the coolest people in school are going to be there. And it's like a lot of elbow rubbing and it feels like it's a lot of rock star mentality and people that worship rock stars are all going to that one thing.
AJ
Yeah, that'd be weird.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
So something else was going to say about Shot Shows. Can't remember. Do you remember the like, the Wooby guys? The Wooby shoes used to be used after TK Used to be one of their like, like sponsors or people, you know on their advertisements. He. He's no longer and. And wants to give us some. Some free shoes to say thanks.
Brent
Oh, nice. I think they messaged us once and I.
Reagan
And I actually forgot that. That he was associated with that. And that was, that was. That was. That was. That was an integrity move. Good job now. And I will. And I will support you guys now because, you know, you. You care about the right thing and you'll do it.
AJ
It.
Reagan
So you guys looking for Some tactical shoes. Go. Go look at Woody shoes. Now they've proven themselves. So support them.
Tyler
Brent, do you. Do you feel sorry for him?
Reagan
Sometimes. Sometimes, like, you know, I'm. But then I'm. Like, Then I have to remind myself, well, did it to himself.
AJ
Yeah.
Brent
My biggest thing is I feel bad. Like, what do you tell your wife and your kids?
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Like, do you. I mean, do you make up. Do you make up a whole story about your side of the story and how me and Brent are assholes? Or do you tell your wife, like, hey, I can't come clean because of business and we would lose our house, So I have to maintain this lie. I just wanna let you know I'm sorry for putting you through this.
Tyler
Daddy loves you.
Brent
Yeah. Like, how do you. How do you handle that?
AJ
That would be tough.
Brent
Like, letting your kids know. Like.
Reagan
Well, don't put yourself in that situation. And you'll never have to. You'll never have to deal with it.
Brent
Mean old Brit. You guys wanna watch the most popular fucking video right now?
AJ
Oh, yes.
Brent
Yeah, buddy.
Reagan
Did you get a big coin in the box?
Brent
Yes.
Reagan
Okay. Did you see it?
Brent
What was the coin? He sent this back. I was Brett when you were gone. I looked up and down for your kit to put this on. It's an operator. It just says Asperger's. Not find it.
Reagan
Because on my way to the shot show, I had to stop at Atlanta because we had a sentinel event and my kit was with me.
Brent
I was like, it was here.
Reagan
That's right. That's right. It was here.
Brent
Yeah. This video, not a lot of context, just the context you need. It looks like a traffic stop or they asked the guy to get out. He's compliant. This is very routine. And then there's a gunshot, and apparently it's the female. And everyone's gonna be like, that's gotta be female. But it's a female officer that's securing his firearm out of his pants, and it goes off and shoots him in the leg.
AJ
There's a common denominator. I don't know. I'm just saying.
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
You okay?
Brent
Stop resisting. On top of the vehicle for me. Her right there to the right. She pulls out his gun.
Reagan
You okay? Oh.
AJ
She still tries to blame the man. She looks like her at her partner. What'd you do? Why'd you put my finger on the tree?
Reagan
Walk with me.
Brent
Walk with me.
AJ
He's very compliant.
Reagan
He does have a pistol on him, so.
Brent
Oh, this is her view.
Reagan
Where's your pistol? Put it.
AJ
Put the gun down. Put it down.
Reagan
You okay?
Brent
Nope.
AJ
I appreciate that. Put that down.
Brent
Oh, that's it.
Reagan
You okay?
Brent
Golly. Did it show her view?
AJ
Yeah, it was just. That was. I think that that was the last one.
Reagan
It's so bad because the guy was so compliant, so nice, did everything right. And the. And really, the rest of the cops did everything right. They weren't. They weren't doing that overreacting thing that sometimes. Oh, he's got a gun. He's got a gun. Even though he's being compliant, Everyone was cool, calm and collective. Was just kind of doing the right thing. Hey, hint, no, hands up. Come on out. And they still it off.
AJ
And how many times has this happened?
Reagan
I say they. Someone. Yeah. Everyone else there was doing a great job.
Tyler
What was the context of the encounter?
Brent
I mean, they don't give any.
AJ
Oh, people being oppressed by the police.
Reagan
Yeah. But again, none needed, you know, of sorts.
Brent
The guy was compliant.
AJ
Yeah.
Brent
This would be a nothing story. This happens probably a million times a day. Encounters with law enforcement that are positive. He was probably rightfully detained and he was compliant. Hey, I have a gun on me. Even the other cop was like, hey, he said he's got a gun. Calmed everything down. It depends on your department's policies or you as a cop, how you want to handle that gun. If he's being compliant and it's in the car, and I'm not trying to get him out of the car, we're not going to touch the gun. We're going to leave the gun where it's at. Right. If it's on your hip and I'm judging you. I've been doing this job for nine years. I'm looking at you, and I can just feel that you're not a threat to. The best case scenario is just leave the gun there. Leave it wherever it's at. Maybe they had to pull him out. Maybe he had an arrest warrant. Maybe they had charges on him. Maybe they smelt weed in the car. Maybe they wanted to search the car so they pulled him out for whatever reason. Maybe they were on a weird roadway and they're like, hey, this isn't safe. We're gonna get you out of the car. They can pull you out of car no matter what. And everything was going great. And I guess they decided, well, if he's gonna be out of the car and he's got his gun on him, let's just secure the gun. All right? Put your hands up. And now because of this, I guarantee you a lot of agencies are gonna go Away from that, going in and go. Because it's an unknown. You don't know the type of holster. You know, I'm not trying to defend the cop that did it, but you're blindly sticking your hand in someone's pants to get it. Retrieve a firearm.
Reagan
So he's compliant. Right. So I guess that's the wrong way to do it. I don't know. I feel like I could have. I feel like I could have done that without discharging the firearm into his leg. But is there a better way to do it? Are you going to have him, the unknown, handed over to you?
Brent
Because you're asking if he goes. If he goes. Yep, there it is. And then somebody comes on scene that's like, holy good.
Reagan
Right? So what do you do if. If that cop can't pull it out and you can't have him give it to you? What's the right answer?
Tyler
It's partner.
Reagan
It's a. What's that, partner? That's the problem. The partner pulled it out.
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
And. And did that. So what's the right answer?
AJ
That. Well, that, that's tough. Because it's a tough one. Like you said, been on for several years. You can feel if someone's going to be a threat, most likely to you. So. But what do you do for that rookie cop that. Do you tell them. Do you tell them, hey, you should disarm them or just leave it on them? You know, they're.
Reagan
I don't think you leave it on them either. Don't want. Like that. But here's the problem. Okay. Okay, well, there's that. All right, well, here, here's my answer, which is, let's not change policy because of one dumbass. Like, what's, what's the norm? Like, who's at fault? Like that cop was at fault. So was the, was the, was the procedure at fault? No, the cop did it wrong. So let's not do a knee jerk reaction and do something else. Let's just do what you're supposed to do the right way. Of course, that, that probably makes too much sense.
AJ
It does. And did you think the fact that she's female that that will change? I'm being serious, because she is.
Reagan
I don't know.
AJ
I see it unfortunately. I mean, because I could see them blaming policy and then, no, not blaming the officer. And like you said, let's not change policy because of one officer's actions. Because it's a. I think if you keep changing and putting this red tape as we were talking about before, you make it harder on the cops and the officers to do their job.
Brent
Why do you think it's. Is it just the stories we see or is it the common denominator, that this has happened multiple times with female officers? What do you think the answer is as an outside.
AJ
Well, I seen.
Brent
What do you think?
AJ
What would you think? Right here on. I don't. I mean, I've seen a lot of videos with female cops with. Shit's going. I don't know. But there's a lot of males too. Where goes wrong? Not as often, but, you know Acorn.
Brent
Yeah.
AJ
Well, no, ridiculous.
Brent
She started shooting into the car too. Yeah, she p. So if I see my partner dumping into a suv, I'm not gonna shoot because I assume he's acquired a target that I can't see. So I'm not just. She turned around his part, his partner and just started dumping her bag in there too.
AJ
It no back. I would hope you'd have enough trust in your partner, like. Oh, all right. But.
Brent
Well. Okay, here's another one. Remember when the female said taser. Taser killed the guy.
Reagan
That was hard to watch. That was so hard to watch in.
Brent
The bus, in a car.
Tyler
Yeah.
AJ
Well, then the Dallas chick came, I think after that or right before where she walked in that apartment, shot that. She thought it was her apartment. Oh, that was.
Reagan
God, that was a bad one too.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
Yeah.
AJ
I mean, what's the gender. This is a comedy podcast. We're just joking.
Tyler
And joke.
Brent
We're just joking.
Reagan
We're just joking with facts. Called fact. Just fact.
Brent
Just facts.
Reagan
Joking.
Brent
Oh, I'm not making my life any easier.
Reagan
That work.
AJ
That's good. What about the New York. I'm done.
Reagan
You know what sucks is that video. It didn't show her actually put her finger. I didn't see it. Where her actually put her finger on.
Brent
The trigger when she pulled it up.
AJ
Only when she was coming. Yeah, Only when she was coming back down. You could see her finger in the. The trigger guard or whatever. So you could see. You could see her finger in there when she was coming back down, but not as she pulls it. Well, that guy ain't going back to work. He ain't.
Reagan
Oh, yeah. He lived. Yeah, he's. He's about to get some money.
AJ
Yeah. I feel so bad for that dude.
Brent
Yeah, I don't. A flesh wound in the leg.
Reagan
Yeah.
AJ
We'll go out back.
Reagan
Yeah, that's right. So the chats are saying it's Jacksonville. And he ran. And he ran a red light.
Brent
That's. That's what Jack? Jacksonville. When you ride red lights, you get shot.
Reagan
You get shot. People don't play.
AJ
Well deserved.
Brent
They don't. They like to shoot people, even if.
Reagan
It'S with their gun. That's a power move.
Brent
I'm going shoot you with your own gun.
Reagan
Oh, let the beams fly.
Tyler
Not let. Looking big picture at this. I mean, the pressure on her to. She's been told she's trained. Maybe she's not. Maybe she is confident, maybe she's not. If she's not, she probably is scared to say anything. Look at the training officer that signed her off. Think about the pressure on those, on those individuals to get her on the street.
Brent
Well, yeah.
AJ
Well, I mean. Well, there is truth. I've seen that with my own eyes. I'll tell you.
Brent
I'll say it.
AJ
I was told by. I'll fucking say it. I got enough beer tomorrow.
Brent
But we'll.
AJ
I've had instructors tell me they couldn't fire that person from an academy because of the gender they were. Because it's a lot more. They want to get them to quit before they fire them. The guy, the white. The white man, you're gone, you're a. But the female, you can't just. Because then they'll. How do we get here?
Reagan
How did we get here? It's insane. The military's doing it too. Ranger school, Green Berets, you know, firefighters, cops, things that matter, like truly matter. How did we get here?
Brent
Well, I was telling Reagan on the car ride today when I picked him up from the airport. Yeah. You know, we bring up all the time, the sports does it. The Olympics does it. They recognize it's not. They're not discriminating against. They're recognizing that they're two separate things.
AJ
Well, kind. Well, I guess kinda because they have. They're putting trannies in now.
Reagan
But how about this? Is San Francisco super liberal, Right?
AJ
Very.
Reagan
You think the San Francisco 49ers has a 30 to 30 policy? You think they're trying to get 30% females on the 49ers?
AJ
Well, they got that ref now.
Reagan
Nope. That's not what I'm talking about. On the team where it matters. Performance.
AJ
No.
Brent
Because that, that, that with money.
AJ
Yeah. Views.
Reagan
So we won't do it when it's. I wanted Fs with money and fans, but we'll do it when it comes to the, you know. Yeah. The people's lives. Defending this country, putting out fires, chasing bad guys. It's insane.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
Trump addressed this in his inauguration.
Brent
He did?
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
He said people are Only to get hired by character and productivity.
AJ
No more of this.
Reagan
What are you saying? Now that's new? That, that's a new take on things to judge a person by by their character and not by the color of their skin.
Brent
It's like if, I don't know. If only we had thought about that.
Reagan
Yeah. If only a black man said that years ago.
Tyler
I'm gonna get rolled up tonight on the way to the hotel. I know it. I'm sitting here. You guys are committing two crimes.
Brent
Yes.
Reagan
What's that? What, you cry.
Tyler
The two crimes.
Reagan
Yeah.
Tyler
Thought crimes.
Reagan
Thought crime and journalism, you know? Well, that's okay. I mean, Martin Luther King. Yeah, okay. Said that like that's all they, that's all they wanted and fought for, you know, but.
Brent
Well, here, here's. Let me ask you this because we kind of talked about offline. A female. A female. Any female, right? Not the outlier, not the one that takes trend. That should oppress me. The average law enforcement officer. Female.
AJ
Show me a picture.
Brent
She's got a giant. It's like a penis. All right, so she's trading bjj, right. She's in an environment full of males. All right? They're not treating her like one of the boys. I am so sorry. I've said this before on the podcast. Oh, they treat me like one of the boys. They don't. They are trying.
Reagan
No, they don't.
Brent
In one way, shape or form. They are trying to you or they're not talking to you because they're terrified that their wives are gonna get mad at them or they're gonna say something stupid and get fired anyways. But that being said, lots of females do say, oh, I get it. I know I'm not one of the boys. I just like doing the job. And I can respect that.
Reagan
I can respect that.
Brent
But the take on the average law enforcement female going to bjj, right? So now she's getting praised. Oh, you're doing so great, girl. Oh, now she's got her blue belt or purple belt.
Reagan
Right.
Brent
She's moving up in a sport. It's a sport. And now it comes to a real fight with a male that does not want to go to prison. Is BJJ going to matter when he's just got ruthless testosterone to dish out?
Reagan
It's. To answer that question, seriously, it's really a double edged sword, which is just. The short answer is, nope, not going to matter. But if you, if you, you know that you're already at a disadvantage, you're six inches shorter, you're a hunt, you might 100 pounds lighter. You sure as hell better be doing something about it. But you better realize that you're just giving yourself a. The best chance, you know, that you. That you have. I mean then what's the, what's the alternative? Just not just know it and not ever train or try to make yourself better? I mean, you know, it's a really tough.
Brent
Don't rely on that like you like, like you're talking about, like don't go one on one with the scenario because, you know, bjj, it's a, it's a. It's a good safeguard.
Reagan
You should, yeah, you should absolutely be training it. I'll say. But don't let. Make sure there's. That you're grounded in reality and don't. Don't let anyone let tell you or you start thinking I'm. I can take this guy. Now that's where it gets dangerous.
Brent
And I feel like that's. That the environment that a lot of these females are in, it's. They're praised by dudes. They're praised. Like I'm going to be the guy that praises a girl and tells her how great she. She's doing and how she's one of the guys.
Reagan
Right. And I would go as far to say the protocol should be that like a female officer doesn't put hands on, on a male unless there's another male present. Well and there's, there's extreme situations that you know that.
Brent
Well, in theory, law enforcement, the way it operates is a safety is you don't put your hands on somebody unless you have a backup.
AJ
Right now I would like domestic, like domestic violence calls and all that.
Brent
I have to, I have to know I'm gonna arrest you. It has to be a calm scene. I have to get somebody there. But sometimes things go awry and you have to put your hands on something.
Reagan
But on traffic stops, you see it all the time. And you see, you know, guys sometimes, you know, kind of getting their ass kicked or at least, or at least not winning the fight or like really it just, it's.
AJ
Albuquerque has a good.
Reagan
It's tough to watch. Like it really is. And I always have this like, weird thought when I watch those videos of like a cop and a. And whoever they stop like fighting on the side of the road and going off a while like, God, I wish this one time I could drive by and see that. Stop the car real quick, run out there and just jump kick that. You got a free. You get a free shot and just Jump, kick that perf in the head. Be like, oh, gotcha. Don't worry, I got you, buddy.
Tyler
So when, when you roll up, is there, is there a tin code for that or do you just scream eagle when you roll out the car?
Reagan
Gotcha, buddy. Yeah, I don't know.
AJ
Albuquerque is a good example. What you were just talking about where there was like a male cop and he was wrestling with this, what do you call them perps? Is that your thing?
Tyler
Crook. Crook.
AJ
And then the female cops, just like Democrats, she's just acting like she's like pushing on his leg. And the male cops like actively wrestling this guy to keep him down. And females running around like.
Reagan
We had the, I can't remember her name. Megan. We had the female cop on the show. Kelly. Was it way off? Yep, yep. No, no, no, no, no, no. A guest that.
Brent
Oh yeah. Remote guests.
Reagan
Yeah. Whose husband is a SWAT officer. And she showed up and, and got rolled up and she was very, you know, I didn't know how she was very aware, but it still didn't change the outcome in the fact.
Brent
And I think maybe that's because at the time. So she fought a guy in a domestic violence situation. They fought so long that. Where he got her gun and attempted to execute her, but it didn't go off.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
And. And so I wonder if at the time she was of that mindset. Like, I got this, like, I'm an equal to this male.
AJ
Well, that goes to the instructors. So was she doing like BJJ or anything like that?
Reagan
I remember a while ago. But the, but the crazier. Do you remember the crazier part of.
Brent
That story is that guys came and saved the day.
Reagan
No, that's not the crazy part of that story. Was it San Bernardino? Is that the, the apartment?
Brent
Yeah.
Reagan
The crazier part of that story is the, the criminal gets her gun, tries to execute her, point blank backup come, saves the day. They don't kill him. And because he gives up and, and, and he doesn't get that. He doesn't. He wins the court case. Do you remember, do you remember why he won the court case?
Brent
Self defense. They said he had self defense. That she didn't have a right to be there.
Reagan
That's right. Basically saying she introduced deadly force, so he has the right to defend himself in deadly force. And that was crazy.
AJ
What kind of can of worms is that open, right?
Reagan
Oh, that's what she said, right?
Brent
She said that. She was like. That just said a precedence.
AJ
Yeah, like, absolutely. Yeah.
Reagan
I don't like that. That's really why we kind of took that story, like, when we heard the end of that, like. No, tell that story several, Several years ago. And she's been on Fox News as a contributor. She was very well spoken. Yeah, she was very. Yeah, yeah. I actually, that was. I enjoyed that. We should trade Southern California for Canada.
AJ
Just trade them.
Reagan
That reminds me, did you see about the. The Gulf of Mexico renaming?
AJ
Oh, the Gulf of America.
Reagan
After that? I was like, are you kidding me? How did I never. That's a real thing. We're gonna. We're renaming it Gulf of America.
AJ
Trump, baby.
Reagan
Why is it called. Don't get wrong. They can still call it Gulf of Mexico. You should, like, whatever touches Mexico is Gulf of Mexico, but everything that touches America is Gulf of America. And we should refer to it as.
Brent
Y'all underappreciated.
AJ
What I went through the last four years.
Reagan
And you know what I like more about that? Not just that. That may. That may seem petty. I don't think that it's the mindset that's the right mindset this country has to be in to. To move forward and undo this.
AJ
Like, that's mine.
Reagan
Yeah, that's right. That's mine.
AJ
Yeah.
Reagan
Gulf of America. I'm here for it. I'll never call Gulf of Mexico again.
Brent
Yeah. Dude, that's awesome.
Reagan
Should have never. I can't believe I didn't think of that.
Tyler
Yeah, I wanna take Fort Bragg away from us.
Reagan
I will always be called Fort Bragg.
Brent
Even if there's a fire. Yeah, that's a stepbrother's reference. He knew it, but he couldn't get it.
Tyler
What happened with Fort Bragg renaming?
Brent
They renamed all the forts that had names of southern generals.
Tyler
Yeah.
AJ
Why? It's racist or what?
Brent
Yeah, it's racist.
Tyler
For real.
Brent
Yeah.
AJ
I know, I know. Or I know the playbook. That's what.
Brent
That's what it is.
AJ
It's always racist. It's always racist.
Reagan
It's always racist.
Tyler
But, yeah, huge, huge pushback on the renaming of the bases. Oh, we'll just rename an ocean. How's that?
Reagan
Yeah, that's right. We'll take it back.
Brent
I wonder if Trump's going to go back to the original names. Wouldn't that be cool?
AJ
Of what?
Brent
Oh, bases.
Reagan
Yeah, of bases. Yeah, that'd be cool.
Brent
Old odd sneaker says, hey, Bert, did you ever work with any Australian SAS while deployed? If so, what were their thoughts on Australian special Forces?
Reagan
The. They were great. They're. They were good. I. I actually kind of. They're called SES and It makes you think, you know, kind of more along the lines of British sas, which is a tier one. I don't know.
Brent
Oh, you explain this.
Reagan
I know I'm gonna upset some people here, but their sas, to me, is actually more like Green Berets. And then they have a commando unit that's. That's more like rangers. I don't think they actually really line up, you know, to the. To the Delta SAS from the British two. Two sas. But they're. But they're good. They're good dudes.
Brent
British sas. If you had to pick a tier to put them in and if you had to mold them to America. Right. So it's not the same system, but if you had to mold them and you had to pick a tier for the. To put them in, would they be tier one or tier two?
Reagan
Tier one. I'll do them.
Brent
Okay, so that makes sense.
Reagan
They're good dudes. Really good dudes.
Tyler
Comment on their. On their command. At least in Afghanistan, command is brave enough to let them do a lot of standoff in. In Halo entries.
Reagan
Yeah, yeah.
Tyler
And I've. I've watched them on Kill tv. They land, they walk in, they wake the guy up, they take them, they fly away. There's none of this rolling in for two days on gun trucks and getting everybody in the valley lined up on you.
Reagan
But I'll tell you this about the British sas. As much respect as I have them, and they're a tier one unit. It ask me, and this isn't. This is just a true, true statement. If you're a hostage, who do you want coming after you? It is the Delta Force. I don't want them coming after me in a hostage situation. And that's not just like being biased. That's. That's experience.
Brent
Would that. Would England say that? If. If they had. If they had. If they had.
Reagan
If they worked with us, they would. And I have a lot of respect for those guys. So don't. Don't take that out of context.
Brent
Nighthawk says Mara.
Reagan
Way. Way to channel your inner. Your inner drill.
Brent
That's it. Yeah, sorry. That's it. Yeah. Drew doesn't have a mic, obviously, right now, like we said, because we got two guests, and that's an inside joke. So Drew, somebody said America, right? They said, just posture free America. And Drew just reading. It's like Marika, it's just been the inside joke.
AJ
I can't make fun. I would do the same thing.
Brent
Dylan. I feel the whole Brad Brett mix up has caused everyone to forget that his name Is actually pronounced CAG Daddy. You're welcome. Oh, you're not getting away.
AJ
What's CAG Daddy exactly?
Brent
Okay, have you watched the Office?
Reagan
No.
Brent
Okay, never mind.
Reagan
Do we know where that came from?
Brent
Just.
Reagan
It was just random. There's no like.
Brent
Yeah, we have. We have. Our main nicknames are CAG Daddy. Don't really know the origins of how that one.
Reagan
I.
AJ
His nickname.
Reagan
I know what your nickname his is.
Brent
CAG Daddy because CAG is Combat Applications Group Delta Force. And so somebody just started calling him.
Tyler
It's on his Wikipedia page.
Reagan
Do I have to go check and see if. I guarantee you.
Brent
I guarantee you. I guarantee you. If you Google what is CAG Daddy? AI has already said CAG Daddy is the co host of the entire AKA Brett Tucker.
AJ
Should we look it up in real time?
Reagan
Oh, I hope not. I don't want to know.
Brent
And then mine is Tyler Girth. And that was. We were.
AJ
That's not a. That's a good name.
Brent
Yeah, we were. It was porn names.
Reagan
Yeah, that was porn name. Yeah, for sure.
Brent
Girth. But they spell it and then spelled it with a Y. He's like Lynyrd Skynyrd, you know?
Reagan
Yeah, yeah.
Brent
Girth with a. Yeah. This could have been much worse. She could have been disarming Tin Kennedy. Had a female FTO who was tiny. She had many faults, but could talk. Talk a poop covered meth. Meth head out of out. Psycho into cuffs. Verbal judo matters.
Reagan
Yes, yes, absolutely. That's your strength.
Brent
And a lot of guys we've talked about this. Lots of dudes like to confide in witness women. I don't know if it's like a wife thing, a maternal thing, but women can go and get some hella crazy confessions out of dudes just by talking to them. You know, like you're. You're not gonna tell me because maybe I arrested you and I'm like. You're like you. I'm like you back, dog. I don't give a. About you. And instead of getting some crucial information out of you, I'm just like. My pride takes over.
Reagan
But that's. That's the danger of not living in reality. It's a strength. Yeah, exactly, because now you're not playing to your strength because someone's been telling you for years you can do anything a guy can do. No, you can't. You have strengths. You know, I have strengths. And there's even strengths in different personalities. Find your strength and. No, not everyone can do what everyone else can do.
Tyler
Yeah. For looking at that Men have higher bone density. Women have better multitasking software built in. Train, train. And develop your procedures to that.
Brent
And bears can smell the menstruation. Brandon, 20, says, what's up, boys? Y'all see the video of the E4 and a ride along where a dude pulls a weapon on the cop, and as the cop's running around acting like a fool, the E4 chokes the perp, putting him down.
Reagan
Find it?
Brent
No, we've covered it.
Reagan
But did we cover that?
Brent
We covered the part where the cop went running. And I didn't know that was the same video as army ride along taking out the bad guy with no weapon. He had no weapon on him. Choked him out. I was focused on the cop who was backing away with a gun, terrified to pull the trigger, and he couldn't do it.
Reagan
That guy better got a soldier's medal. There's a metal that not everyone you know knows about or realize. That's a big deal. Are you aware of the soldier's medal?
Brent
You can get a codis.
Reagan
Yes.
Brent
It's.
Reagan
It's for conus. Bravery. Like, it's not just, like, meritorious acts or service. Like you have to jump into a lake as a. As a soldier and pull some out of a car.
Brent
Soldiers recognizing the fact that you. You are courageous because you're a soldier.
Reagan
Yes.
Brent
And it reflected on your home life.
Reagan
Right. And it's important because all the other valor medals obviously are in combat, so nothing like they were like, we got to do something like, this is valorous, but not combat, but it's not service. And there. There's a soldier medal.
Tyler
Yeah, there was a. There was a huge, huge deal with 18 Delta getting one at Bragg. Yeah. I think it was a burning vehicle.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
Brent's rescued some people from car crashes.
Reagan
I have.
Brent
You are like the angel of death when it comes to car crash.
Reagan
I got some crazy stories about the car crashes. I've seen people drowning in lakes. I just. For a while there, I was like, death follows me. I did.
Brent
Doesn't want me.
Reagan
It doesn't want me. It just. Or it's like, hey, you're next. I just know I'm right behind you. You're next.
Brent
Applied designs, $20. Big CAG Daddy. What is the funniest thing you've seen on target, Mr. Taylor? Birth. What's the funniest traffic stop excuse you've ever gotten? Oh, you gotta go.
Reagan
We were walking. We were walking to target, and my team sergeant just disappeared. Just, like, disappeared. We're, like, right there at target. We get done Clearing the target. We come back and we. We hear a kind of a cry for help. And did you ever see in Afghanistan they have. They would. There would be like these poles like this. It's like 20, 30, 40ft deep. They're. They're drilling for. For water. Like a water hole. Like looking for. Yeah. He had fallen in one and his gun.
Brent
Oh.
Reagan
Went across it and. And saved him. But he's holding onto his gun, about to fall in this well and we're going to talk. He's a disappeared. I thought it just tripped. That happens all the time. But I don't remember hearing like the, like the rattle of like all your kit and like falling hard. I was like, ah, whatever. And to come back and see him hold on to his gun for dear life about to fall into a well, that. That was funny.
Tyler
Good day. He opted not to run the 10 inch that day.
Reagan
Yeah, I think that bent his gun. I can't. I have to ask him. I think it bent as he probably didn't.
AJ
And you saw this?
Reagan
I saw, I saw him disappear. And then we heard the cries for help and then we came out there like, what are you doing? Get to work.
Brent
Funny excuse for. I don't know if it's an excuse. I pulled a guy over and I always just talked to him. I'm like, I didn't ask him, do you know why I pulled you over? Because I don't say that. But I was talking to him and it kind of like came up like, I think he might have asked, why did you pull me over? And I was like, I don't know. You tell me me. Is it because I have a warrant? Yes, it is.
Reagan
I love that. Why do, why do cops do that? Do you know why I pulled you over? Is that like. Is that just like. Is this a natural thing? Is that a taught thing?
Brent
I don't. No, it's not. It's not taught. I don't know if that's like a. I don't know.
AJ
You're getting them to admit.
Brent
Yeah, maybe they're admitting, like, trying to oppress us.
AJ
I think they're trying to oppress us.
Reagan
It was a short clip. I actually think it. It wasn't a real life clip. Might have been for like an act. I think it was actually for a show, but it's still one of the funniest ones. And it's this cop about to write this girl ticket and then she's like, I thought you didn't give pretty girls tickets. We don't. And then walks away oh, my gosh.
AJ
That was good.
Reagan
So sad.
Tyler
No festing up to an open.
Reagan
Yeah, and if that was a show, I assure you that a cop used that in real life.
Brent
After that.
AJ
Absolutely.
Reagan
Yeah.
Brent
A couple more. Are you pulling something up, Drew?
Reagan
I'm trying to look for something.
Brent
Okay, two more minutes. So we will. Do you guys know anything about the Iron Triangle murders? Did Captain Steele throw those dudes under the bus? I don't know what he's talking about.
AJ
What's it called?
Brent
Iron Triangle Murders.
Reagan
Iron Triangle Murders. I haven't heard of that. I'm about to look it up. I got two minutes to figure it out. You ready for this? All right. The Iron Triangle murders were a series of killings that occurred under Operation Iron Triangle in Samarra, Iraq, in 2007.
Brent
Oh, that was my unit.
Reagan
I'm aware of Samarra, Iraq, in 2007. That was a tough place to be.
Brent
My unit deployed there right before I got there. Hey, we're coming home.
Reagan
Our ODA there had, I think, a couple silver stars that did that rotation. The murders involved the U.S. army squad that captured insurgents and then shot them as they attempted to escape. Sounds like war to me.
Brent
That sounds like a great story to cover.
Reagan
The squad's command center expressed displeasure that insurgents were captured instead of killed. A sergeant ordered the squad to free the insurgents and then shoot them as they ran away. The squad followed the order. One soldier testified that they cut insurgents loose and let them run before the shooting to make it look like they escaped. Another soldier was involved in a mercy killing. Well, that. That's an interesting story.
Brent
I like it. They're saying that was regular army.
Reagan
Yeah. Seems like a regular army. Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah, and it sounds like there's more to it. As if. Could he just say that their commander some, like, throw them under the bus. That's it. Yeah. Okay, real quick. I want to hear what you guys think about. Trump said that he's going to rehire all military if they want their job back, if they were fired for not taking the COVID shot and giving them back.
Brent
I want. I was actually thinking about. I was thinking about that in the shower. Can you imagine? But can you imagine the process of getting in? Like, all of these vets now are going to flood. I want to get back in. I want my five years back pay.
Reagan
Give it to them.
AJ
Do you think they would?
Reagan
No.
Brent
Give it to them. That's fine. But, like, how. Like, how do we facilitate that? Is that a recruiter to the va?
Reagan
You can trust them. You can trust them.
Tyler
I had an approved retirement date and I still had to take it.
Reagan
You had to take what?
Tyler
The shot.
Reagan
Oh, really?
Tyler
Yeah.
Reagan
With an approved retirement date.
Tyler
Absolutely.
Reagan
To make that make sense, I had.
Tyler
To show the post commander I was the second to last. You know, I blew it off. I'm retiring.
Reagan
Yeah.
Tyler
So. But no, I get a text, I'm home on com leave, and post commander calls our unit medic wanting proof right then and there that I had. That I'd taken my vaccination.
Reagan
Get out of here.
Brent
Oh, God.
Reagan
And because you took the vax, like. Is that. Is that why your voice is so.
Tyler
No, actually, yeah, actually.
Brent
He was a smoker.
Reagan
Gave him the old Robert Kennedy syndrome.
Tyler
So, guys, if you haven't heard me in a while. Third group. Guys, don't know this, but during a surgery to repair a neck injury, the nerve to my right vocal fold was cut.
Reagan
And now I'm a dick. I'll see myself.
Brent
Did they wake you up and go, so, by the way, or did you find this out later?
Tyler
I woke up in a full on anxiety attack because it felt like I couldn't breathe and I couldn't swallow. I had.
Reagan
Sheesh.
Tyler
Yeah, it was horrible.
AJ
The chaps love it and they want.
Reagan
You to sing a Johnny Cash. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, you know, people would. Yeah. You know, country singers would kill for that voice. Oh, man. Raspy, raspy.
Tyler
Oh, I used to have.
Reagan
Now I got this stupid high voice I gotta listen to on Brett.
Brent
Sounds zesty.
Reagan
All right, guys, you got the Bluetooth off. I'm sure it off. All right, well, I'm gonna find a Godsmack song for you guys.
Brent
Yeah, I'm up. But once you turn the. Once you turn the Bluetooth on my phone shows dominance over yours, so I'm gonna take it. So.
Reagan
Okay.
Brent

Reagan
Oh, I thought I.
Brent
Word.
Reagan
No.
Brent
Yeah, yeah. Bye, guys.
Reagan
There we go.
