Brent
And we're live for Thursday night. Squadcast Thursday is for the boys. We got Mike from Copville. We got Justin from Donut Shop. ME Brent Bradley, producing. Is Derek Chauvin gonna be pardoned? We'll find out soon enough. Yeah, I spent about nine hours. Hours the other day in here, and I figured it out.
Mike
Perfect.
Justin
All right.
Brent
All right, we're here. We're live. We got the new. We got the new studio. Halfway built. Halfway built. So let's. Let's show the cameras around. We got, obviously, the me cam, the Brent cam, but then we got the producer cam. Hey, there's Bradley. We got the guest cam, we got the wide cam, and we got the couch cam.
Mike
The crotch cam.
Brent
The crotch.
Derek
I don't sit like this. I don't.
Mike
Sharon Stone over there.
Derek
Don't see anything. I promise.
Mike
It's nothing to see.
Derek
No.
Brent
But, yeah, man, we got a couple. A lot of viral videos kind of hit this week in the last couple days, so we'll be breaking them down. The big topic, obviously, would be Derek Chauvin, which blows my mind, because last I heard, President Trump didn't have the authority to pardon Derek Chauvin.
Mike
Is that right? I did not research that, but no.
Derek
He'S in the state. The state case.
Mike
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not a federal thing.
Brent
No.
Justin
So it would take the governor. A governor's pardon.
Brent
Yeah. Hopefully they're a Republican governor. What state is it in?
Derek
Minnesota.
Mike
Minnesota? No chance.
Justin
Minnesota.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
He's in charge of something. Maybe he's the Minnesota mayor. Whatever he is, he's Walls has something.
Mike
Yeah, yeah. I think he was the governor.
Derek
Yeah. He's not doing anything.
Brent
Yeah.
Mike
He's not busy.
Justin
Tampon.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
You're almost vice president.
Mike
Yeah. Gosh, it could have been your vice president. He's not pardoning Derek Chauvin for sure.
Justin
Yeah. I can't. Can't think of a worse nightmare than. Than that. Really. Cackling Kamala all the time. Word sandwich backed up by that douche.
Derek
Can you imagine, like, what the press conferences would be like? Can you imagine what our country would look like?
Justin
And. And. And the. And the media just eating it up the whole time, like everything's good.
Mike
Wow, look at how great they spoke during this.
Justin
I just saw they were going to have a coming out with some sort of special or documentary about some whistleblowers coming out to say how bad Biden's mental health truly was while he was in the White House.
Mike
Oh, yeah, Yeah, I think I heard that.
Justin
Which is a. Which is a Surprise to no one.
Brent
However, however like this.
Justin
If, if we had an unbiased press. Press and unbiased people, they would say, hold on. Who was covering for the President, the most powerful man in the country and was lying to the people. That's what the Democrats did.
Mike
Here's the real.
Justin
Lied to the people and said, no, no, he's fine. He's fine. When he wasn't. And he wasn't making decisions at the end of it. So who was. That is such a bigger story than what's getting put out right now. Yeah.
Mike
And it's so much easier just to show you, you know, but look here, I mean, I mean, wizard of Oz puts it all out. The, the emperor, whatever he was.
Brent
We talked about that on counterc Culture. The fact when they put something out, it's like, yeah, we know. We wanted, we wanted you to put out that Biden was declining in mental health two years ago. That would have been nice.
Derek
You wouldn't, you wouldn't let that dude watch your grocery cart in the store to go get like the bathroom and come back. He wasn't, he wasn't qualified to watch your groceries in the store. He was making critical.
Brent
No, he wasn't making your cereal.
Derek
The media wanted you to believe he was making critical decisions for the country, which is not.
Justin
And if you won't be honest with us about that, how can I be, how can I trust you with anything? I mean, that's pretty straightforward that I expect you to be honest with me about.
Mike
But yeah, you see Trump sitting there at a table with Qataris and Saudi princes and stuff like that. What about that video of Trump getting the proud to be an American? Lee Greenwood, the whole song. They stood for the whole song.
Derek
Yeah. And then they gave him a plane for our country and they made a big deal about that. Well, they gave us, they gave us a plane.
Justin
So let's talk about that for just a second. Here's here, here's Trump's problem. At the end of the day, he can never just, he can never help himself. This is what I mean by that. I love the idea that someone's going to give us a free 400 million dollar plan, which is what? It's going to take like two to three years to retrofit it. But he said at the end, at the end of it that he won't rule out, that he won't use it for.
Derek
Analogy was great, though. The Sam Snead analogy with the reporter that you never, if somebody gives you a putt, you always take it.
Justin
That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he said that and he said he was gonna, and he was going to retire, basically retire with it and, and put it in his, in his presidential library, which Reagan actually did because Air Force One was being decommissioned between, between Reagan and Clinton. Yes, but Reagan like decommissioned it like it never flew again.
Brent
Yeah, he's going to take a brand new aircraft and put it in his.
Derek
Trump ordered the new ones lost and now he's back and he's supposed to get the new one behind. That's why they're letting them.
Justin
And, and, and here's. And Trump. It's something kind of ridiculous that I feel like no one lives by an elected official. A federally elected official could only receive gifts up like $500.
Mike
Right.
Justin
I'm within $50 of that. It's really close.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
So he couldn't even take this airplane without congressional approval. So it's going to take Congress to approve it. But here's, here's another. I don't know. I'm sure there are friends. Do you take a plane from a foreign country that your president and secrets will be on even though you're going to go through them and just trust that it's clean?
Mike
I mean you, are you dismantling what.
Brent
The Israelis did with those pagers?
Mike
Exactly.
Brent
I would never trust a piece of one, one circuit board from another country ever.
Derek
Yeah, think about that.
Mike
No, that I thought about, bro. One fuel line. It's all you got to do is put one little thing and then the whole plane goes down.
Justin
Yeah, you know, I know they're gonna go or listen to, but ah, that just, I don't know. I'm not. We could, we could save money so fast in other places. Let's, let's not skimp on the security of, of the president.
Derek
He just wanted to flex, man. He got a plane. You're not going to get a better sound bite than Trump in the free plane. I mean, he's going to flex on that, that's for sure.
Mike
I mean that's, that's the funny part is just that he's, he's going to play with whatever he's going to play and he's going to, he's going to, hey, look over here. I'm screwing around here. I'm doing this like, this is what.
Justin
I kind of enjoy about just watching the show. The guy lives by no rule book in a place that's not. It's the government. It's nothing but rule books. And the guy's like, rules, rules.
Mike
And I'm Going to say whatever I want. Like I pale or. There's a lot of people paid a lot of money. He may not pay them, but a lot of people paid a lot of money to fix those problems. And he really just doesn't feel like he can caused that much of a problem or he's already caused the highest level problems that there probably is available. So he's like, whatever it. I'm just gonna go.
Justin
Yeah, he's, he's fun to watch. He's fun to watch.
Derek
Well, they screwed up by rigging the last election because he wouldn't have had the House and the Senate in the last month. So now he's got it all. Well, I just handed him the keys to like do whatever he wants.
Justin
They did it to themselves.
Derek
They really did.
Justin
They did it to themselves. And there's a few, there's a few common sense people on the left like Bill Maher that are, that are, that are saying what they already know, but, but saying it out loud and kind of ringing the ring.
Derek
Stephen A. Smith, for being a sports guy has become very down the middle and very intelligent with his same thing.
Justin
He's seeing it too. He's just calling a spade a spade.
Derek
And he's starting to get a little flack from that side because he's not.
Justin
Supposed to think you gotta walk the line.
Derek
He is saying some very intelligent things and very educated things.
Justin
In a weird way, I'll give the Democrats this. They walk the party line, the left walks the line. So much better to the right than the right. You ever, you ever watch like a year's worth of congressional voting? It is so rare to see someone from the left vote, vote out of line.
Derek
Yeah. There could be an elephant in the room. And the left's gonna say there's no elephant. There's no elephant there. We don't see it. Well, it's right there.
Justin
Lock step.
Mike
It's just like those montage videos of all of them that it's like, hey, they got slipped the paper. This is exactly what you have to say when you get asked this question. And they say it word for word. None of them regenerate it, recreate it.
Derek
But I think that some of the people's argument is that they're not using their individual brain for common sense.
Mike
Exactly.
Derek
They're staying so party line that it's becoming uncommon sense. Whereas like a Stephen A. Smith is starting to say they don't even know.
Mike
They don't even know what to think.
Derek
No, they're told what to think.
Justin
The talking points is what's scary. And I think that's what you're talking about when they. When they get on not just the liberals himself, but the media. And you see his montages of the news saying the same thing from different news sources.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
Local news, you know, worldwide news. It's crazy. They're all saying the same exact thing.
Mike
In 2025, you could say, Chad, GPT. Give me 50 different ways to answer this. And it might at least. It might at least rewrite it 50 different ways. And then you go, all right, this is Kamala's. This is Waltz's. This is. This guy. This is. You know, and just give them each.
Justin
I use chat a lot on the. On my research for this. Last is my first time. Really leaning heavy on it.
Brent
Yeah. Scary, isn't it, for memes now it's like I don't even want to use my own brain anymore.
Derek
Yeah, you can do a lot with it.
Justin
I still don't complete. I mean, it's not the end all be all, but it's definitely, you know, catapulted my. My research.
Brent
I mean, time and half.
Justin
Yeah. Yeah.
Brent
All right, so we got to get some shots. I just want to. I just want to reference the chats that are super toxic tonight. They are fucking ruthless.
Mike
Kyle Rittenhouse is here.
Brent
They said they definitely told you to stop skipping leg day, like 80 times. They called it the.
Derek
They called it the bulge can mile, dude. So the bulge cam.
Brent
They said, Cotteville's cooked in the corner. They said, anybody notice Brent dyed his beard?
Justin
They're right. I did.
Derek
Yeah.
Justin
I got a story for that.
Brent
They said, who's the lesbian in the middle?
Justin
Okay.
Brent
All right. Well, so Brits Camaro. That couch looks sus. It does. Everyday American. What about that female cop that had her gun taken from her? We are going to cover that. Clark McDonald Tyler's sketchiest situation you've seen firsthand as a Leo. Love the show, guys. JV team for life, right?
Derek
My legs right.
Mike
Right now.
Brent
Oh, man. I'll get back to you. I'll get back to you on that. Clark Zubi. Zubi Trump making money moves. Flamingo Tactical. Good evening. Thank you guys for what you do. Song for the night, Volbeat. A warriors call for 50 bucks.
Justin
All right, man. I like that one.
Derek
I love to put your wife up. Comments? It's right here, right on the back of my phone. It's sticking.
Brent
You got you monitoring the comments?
Derek
Yes.
Brent
Applied designs. Apparently the BBC is reporting a story about Big Black Caucus. I am sus about these comments. Now, but I think they mean the British Broadcasting. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Reporting BBC about members of the SAS committing war crimes. To include shooting detainees while handcuffed and also shooting unarmed personnel on targets. I got the link if you guys want it.
Justin
Fake news.
Brent
Fake news. You heard it.
Justin
There's no reason to look into fake news. Nobody look into fake news.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
Yes.
Brent
Don't give it to him.
Justin
Yes, yes. We never do that.
Mike
But it's plate designs. Can't be.
Justin
I know, but it's flight designs. I know. I don't. I want to be disrespectful to him.
Derek
He's.
Justin
He. He reads a lot.
Brent
How much of a gap is there between CQB and HRT and Delta? Oh, of CQB between HRT and Delta, should there be police units comparable to Delta cqb?
Justin
No, there's just not. I've seen them. HRT is great for a law enforcement agency, which is what they are. And they are great. It's not, it's not comparable. They, they, they could not get on our stack and be safe around us.
Derek
It's just.
Justin
Just how it is. Okay, but they're great. But that's. But again, someone's gonna take that as me like sliding, you know? HRT.
Brent
Think if you ran your whole life and you can run a four minute mile and then go. You probably can't run as fast as me. Like, oh, that's fucking bullshit.
Justin
But it runs like a five minute mile. Like I'm not shitting on the guy that runs a five minute mile. Okay. It's a great time.
Brent
Timmy. Fragged my family. Just sending some love, boys.
Mike
What an asshole.
Brent
Matt Byrne. Did you guys hear about the female officer that had her firearm taken from her in Fountain Valley, California? Suspect tried to take her vehicle and was shot by the original responding officer.
Derek
Mail?
Brent
Yes. We were going to call. Cover that. Caleb Booten for 50 bucks. Brittany and Taylor. I get the range once a month and bring 1k rounds as 9 and 5.56. What are some good drills to maximize time and ammo? Transition drills. If you got both.
Justin
I, I'd. I'd hit the cheat sheet and I'd go right to ipsic. Go to IPSIC drills. Do ipsic. Ipsic. Find an IPSIC drill that you like and. And go with it.
Brent
What's IPSIC drills?
Justin
International pistol series competition.
Brent
Keep up the good work boys. From shooting.
Justin
Pistol shooting competition. Sorry.
Mike
Something like that.
Brent
And New Zealand SAs use food deprivation and have 10 day selection. Would it be better if US best operations used food deperation? In their selection and shortened selection to days like New Zealand sas.
Justin
No. Why. Why would we. Is the New Zealand sas.
Brent
You figured it out?
Justin
Better. Better.
Derek
What do we do?
Justin
They're doing great with what they got.
Derek
They only run a five minute mile.
Justin
And they do a ten day course because that's all their government can afford. Okay. They're not. They're not shorting them food. They can't afford the food. Okay, let's. We're good.
Derek
Cool though. By twisting it that way, right?
Justin
No. Guys. We're doing food debt.
Derek
Yeah. For four days.
Justin
I'm kidding. I know, man. Someone's. Again, someone's gonna be upset about that.
Mike
One coming at you.
Justin
We're not. We're doing just fine with what we do.
Brent
All right.
Justin
Longer, longer selection process. Slowly, slowly beat them down and drag it out and see what they got left in the tank. There is no replacement for just hours and hours and hours. Yeah. And miles under your feet to. To really see what a guy's made of.
Mike
Beat him down to nothing.
Justin
You want to hear the Blackbeard story? Yeah. So.
Mike
Oh, you're a pirate.
Brent
Oh, man. You just damned yourself. You didn't even know it.
Justin
So as you know, last. Last week was my birthday. Okay. And I went to. I went to. It's called Rock the Country in Ocala. By the way. The time. Great time. Great time. The Marin county sheriff's guys were there. FRCC is donated to one of their guys before great dudes even got to hang out with them in between as a two day concert. So my girlfriend's like, hey, let's. Let's go all blacked out like in. And I was like, oh, that's awesome. For the first time in my life, I know this isn't too weird. I bought black jeans, black boots, black jeans. Tyler's got plenty black tank top, black cowboy hat. I bought some like black rock star jewelry. Just, just, just to. Just to fake it and have some fun. Well, I was having a lot of fun until. And even blacked out the beard. I was like, I'm just gonna. I'm just gonna. I'm just gonna have fun. I'm just gonna go full. What you don't think about because eventually Shadow. No. Well, not full. Retard.
Mike
Black face. Black face.
Justin
I didn't go. I didn't go J.D. vance on it. But here's where it goes.
Mike
No crayons were eating.
Justin
Here's what goes all wrong. Devin looks at me and goes, hey, you want to ride that bull? I was like, it had like a Mechanical bull there. I was like, I'm not gonna ride that bull. Like, I've. I've ridden things. So much more power from that bull. That does nothing to me. He's like, oh, you don't want to ride that bull? I'm like, you want me to ride that bull?
Mike
Oh.
Justin
So I get on this mechanical bull.
Derek
Oh, man.
Justin
45 years old riding mechanical bull, and I'm not. Now I got an impressor. And I tighten my legs as hard as I can on this mechanical bull. And I, you know, I grabbed my hand real tight.
Brent
Is it on? Is it on like the standard setting?
Justin
I saw the setting. The girl was on before me.
Mike
No, they're not going to give you that.
Justin
It wasn't that setting.
Derek
That was a tit. That was a tit bouncing set. That was intentional.
Justin
This thing comes out the gate like a raped ape, and I. I clench my legs even tighter, and I feel a pop in between my legs, and I can no longer. I lost all ability to clench my legs.
Brent
Holy shit.
Justin
So I fly right off. It feels, to be honest with you, a little euphoric. I'm not sure that I pulled anything, but I'm like, I don't know what that is. When I woke up the next day, I couldn't walk. I don't know how to explain it. I pulled my taint.
Mike
It was also black.
Justin
There's. There's a. There's a muscle.
Derek
It's.
Justin
It's your taint. I don't think it's.
Mike
No. Like a hip flexor, but whatever's underneath.
Justin
Your tank is a muscle, and it controls everything for your ability to move your legs and walk. And I was down for the count for days.
Derek
Gotta be a name for that.
Justin
I pulled my tank.
Derek
Yeah, there's something.
Brent
We got a few doctors in the chat. What's the taint? Muscle.
Justin
Oh, it was. It was one of the most painful things I've been through a long time.
Derek
It's like the life pipe is right there.
Brent
The life.
Justin
So I don't know. I'd sit there and tell that embarrassing story to everyone. But it happened. But it happened.
Mike
They're saying, stop skipping Kegel days. You did your Kegels a little more often. You'd have to learn.
Brent
Joe Saunders. Vote for the closing song. Hot chocolate, you sexy thing. Only $20, though. We need $30 more for.
Justin
You're writing that down? Because I don't have a pen over here. Thank you.
Brent
What president slash other senior politicians have. Have good to us. Leo. This is a foreign currency, so it's somebody asking Trump mayor or mayor. Governor DeSantis from Florida. He gave all of his first responders bonuses.
Derek
Abbott in Texas. He's good.
Mike
That's about we're running out there from experience.
Brent
Lincoln.
Mike
Yeah, no, I know. I know for a fact, like going to Police Week, which is just wrapping up in D.C. trump spoke during one of his, during his first term. I was there in 2017 and Trump spoke during it, which I never, you know, I also went during Obama's years. Never saw Obama. I mean, I saw Eric Holder, which again was also like lackluster. Like, this guy doesn't care about us either.
Justin
How can you not talk to him during Police Week? It's they don't care.
Mike
They don't care. The people enforce the laws created by the land and protect it in country. Like, and you can't go talk. But Trump was there in 2017 when I was there.
Derek
They hate cops. When Hillary Clinton used to have to land in Fort Pierce to come to where I worked in Vera beach, she would give directives to clear the road in front of her hotel so that none of the cop cars were out there. Didn't want to see cops, didn't want them around. They need to protect her. She didn't even want to see him. That's how they feel about cops. They do not care. It's that bad. Lost.
Justin
She lost her mind. She forgot who she worked for. She really did.
Mike
Meanwhile, Trump's walking around handing challenge coins to cops.
Derek
Jumps out in the middle intersections and gets out of his car.
Mike
Beautiful. Like dinner plate challenge coins that say 47 or 45. 47. I've seen them. They're really nice.
Derek
See him hand that Marine one the other day. He was getting on and off the helicopter and he like walked up the Marine salute and he put in his hand, made him take it. Yeah, that's got to be a cool.
Justin
Crazy thing about Trump. The guy just said, I'm gonna take a free plane and I might use it when, when I' being the president for my personal use. But he's also the guy that does that. And I, I, and I love it.
Mike
Secret Service trying to usher him over. And he's like, no, no, hang on, I'm going to talk to some of these guys.
Derek
And then you have the Democrats indicting cops and, and, and doing all kinds of crooked like up in Jersey. So how can you not side with a guy like Trump?
Justin
Yeah. And judges going to bed and indicted for literally trying to safe haven illegal immigrants as a letting them in their house.
Mike
Like, keeping. Like, having barbecues in their backyards with them.
Brent
What?
Mike
And then going, no, no, these illegals are fine. It's like Ms. 13 gang members, polite.
Brent
Design says, happy late birthday. Cue the daddy black. Cue the daddy Blackbeard comments. What Would you say your taint. Would you say your taint is three shades of black? Wow. I checked it.
Justin
I checked it for. For bruising. I do. I do see the. The Hank Williams The. The third reference there, and I like it. But no, it never bruised, but it popped. Gosh. Until it popped like a. Like your finger snapping. It popped.
Brent
Did you think it was your lower back at all?
Derek
Like, that's way far from your back. All right. That's off a little bit.
Brent
Your legs.
Derek
All right.
Justin
We're not gonna act like I didn't Google it.
Derek
Yeah, here we go.
Justin
I think it's called your. Your lower pelvic floor.
Derek
Somebody put that in the chat is.
Justin
What I think it is, but I. I'm not even certain I'm telling you.
Brent
Humbled you a little bit.
Justin
Do I say, like, I was thinking about going to the. On day two, I was thinking about going to the hospital because it was getting worse and not better.
Derek
Hey, babe, can you bring your low, lower pelvic thing over here?
Brent
Work on my pain muscles.
Mike
And you don't necessarily want to put ice cubes on it or anything like that or an ice pack, because it's also, in a sense, I don't.
Justin
Do you? Yeah, I can't. I can't. Next thing you know, stress enough how painful that was.
Mike
All right, the audio changed. I feel like the audio changed a little bit.
Brent
What do you mean?
Mike
I don't know. My audio changed a little bit, but.
Brent
Why do you got to bring that up? I would be worried about it for the better.
Mike
The chats will tell us. Yeah, they don't want to hear me anyways.
Brent
Let's go a couple more. A little coffee. Money donation from Bullwinkle.
Mike
All right, Valhalla's in the chat, and Chris Blau.
Justin
What's up, Nate?
Brent
How should frontline cops be for fitness marksmanship? What changes should be made to training to achieve this? God, asking all the hard questions. All of it. Everything we talked about.
Mike
All of the above.
Derek
Right before we started, we were watching a pepper spray video of the still. They're still swinging the stick around and yelling, get back. Like, that's 30 years outdated. Like, that's not how it should be anymore. And they're still teaching that in the academy. Like, why are we not advancing the academy Training for cops to get into, you know, that stuff.
Brent
Yeah. Or it's just like we talk about all the time taking that. That. That hostage shot that 10 years ago, I would say a street cop's never gonna have to take. And now all of a sudden, we've watched two or three videos where your cops are responding and taking headshots.
Mike
Yeah. Yeah.
Justin
And some of them cameras, one for sure didn't. And it's unfortunate. And it's. And that's just what it is. It's unfortunate you will never be able to train enough honestly to. To take that shot as a. As a law enforcement officer. I hate to say it. Yeah. And. And the community expects you to. And you would talk about. Yeah, that A burden.
Mike
You know, there's a lot that goes into that thought for a law enforcement officer as you're going through it, and we harp on it consistently, is the. The constant thought of. Of everything that goes through after the fact. We're so thinking about what happens after the fact when we take those shots that.
Derek
But the first time you think about it shouldn't be the day you're taking it.
Mike
Agree.
Derek
Like, you should have a lot of drill, but.
Brent
Does anybody know of an academy that has that as part of their training? A scenario where you run and you take. It's okay. Your new cops. We want you to. If you're going to shoot the hostage, we want you to shoot the blue hostage on paper, you know.
Derek
Yeah.
Mike
Instead of a real one.
Brent
So let's do some videos.
Mike
I lost. Can you guys hear me on your headphones?
Justin
No, I have a shortened.
Mike
We all. We lost them all.
Justin
No, it's shortened, Evan. I can move it just right and it comes back in.
Mike
Oh, really?
Justin
It's a wire for me?
Brent
Yeah, I got you.
Mike
I'm just making sure.
Brent
Mine go up. Up. Okay, this is down. Down right here. Don't really know what happened, and I assuming there's a lawsuit, but that one right there. Play it. Did he already bite her in the ass? The police.
Derek
The police.
Justin
Is that what it did it bite her in the ass?
Derek
It's going.
Brent
Oh, no. It's going to.
Justin
Right. Okay, good, good.
Brent
That's it. That's good. You go back. Guys, I was rooting for that you video. Yeah, I mean, I would. I would imagine that's a lawsuit, right?
Mike
Yeah. No, you can't. You can't use dogs like that for crowd control.
Brent
It's in the 60s.
Mike
It's not 60s. It's not Knox, Germany. You can't use dogs like that for Crowd control. We had that happen in my agency one time after a high school football game got created.
Derek
Effective.
Mike
No, it's.
Derek
I think it's very effective.
Brent
The whole crowd backed up a little.
Derek
I think it's a dog is worth a hundred cops.
Mike
Yeah, no do. I think it's effective 100. But let them shake their ass and do whatever the heck crap they want to do. Walk around outside in public, out in the free air with freaking masks on, do all that trash that they want to do with whatever they're doing.
Justin
Move down the street, make a deal with the city that you'll, you'll pay out $5,000 for every, for every dog bite. Yeah, just send it. Yeah, just like. Is this a five thousand dollar bite? Yeah, that's what it is.
Mike
Dude, it was just a nip.
Derek
It was just a nip.
Justin
It barely broke the skin.
Derek
I am smart enough to not go near that dog. No, if you're not smart enough to not go near that dog, but you deserve what you get.
Justin
You're also smart enough not to be there during something like that. And shaking your ass from a police officer. I default back to a lot of indicators.
Derek
You don't touch the stove. Right. You don't, it's hot. You don't reach for it. If there's a dog barking, it's a police dog. You don't shake your ass at a police dog.
Mike
Those are the same people that want to run across the street that's got a 45 mile an hour speed limit and goes, yeah, yeah, well I'll get a lawsuit. And I go, you aren't going to win against the car is the problem.
Brent
Yeah, you may win the whole you.
Mike
Want in two years, but you're not going to win the original battle. And you're right, you're going to be messed up for the rest of.
Justin
Probably are going to get money from that in the lawsuit. But where are the common sense judges that look at people and go, I don't know, were you shaking your ass in front of a attack dog?
Mike
These aren't even judges. These are the, these are the. But the city's paying it out. The cities are paying it out before it even goes to court.
Derek
Lost common sense.
Brent
We lost common sense.
Mike
They're paying this money out because they're going to pay more money going to court. But yeah, it's, but it is, it's so ridiculous.
Derek
I think if you said 10 people down, 10 out of 10 are going to say don't shake your ass in front of me.
Justin
Yeah, yeah, let that go to Jury.
Derek
I just.
Mike
Jeff Fox.
Derek
It was a Dotson maybe or something, but not a German. Jeff.
Mike
A little Corgi.
Brent
I like this name. Allison Chains. This isn't about topic tonight, but I just read Mob 6 by Justin Sheffield. He was the team leader for Seal Team 6 Blue Squadron on the Jessica Birch Bucket, Buchannon Buchanan. Buchanan Rescue. I think he would be a great guest. Yeah.
Justin
Wrote a book.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
All right. Well, if you wrote a book. He's out.
Brent
SEAL team.
Mike
Yeah, he's out.
Justin
He's out. He's. He's. He's ready to talk.
Brent
Three shades of black. Hank Williams III for 20 bucks.
Justin
We need a couple more people to get behind that.
Brent
Salvador Belanos. Brent. Got my cigars and swag. Thank you. While you were in the unit, were there any prior Division 1 or professional athletes in there? Tyler, what was your favorite detail as a deputy Closeout song? Everyone's a Winner by Hot Chocolate.
Justin
Yeah, we had. We had a few Division 1 athletes, couple football players, couple wrestlers. One guy played for the Dolphins for a little bit, but. Yeah, but not, Not, Not a whole lot.
Brent
Okay. Correct me if I'm wrong. You play teams. You play. And see, that just goes. You were in teams your whole life in sports. In Green Beret. To me, when you compare just like listening third party to your stories about Green Berets and you talk about Delta, it does not seem like Delta is as team oriented as it is like a group of guys completing something.
Justin
It. It's a group. I mean, it's the tightest team you'll ever work with on target, but as like social and, and they're, you know, they're. They're a tight team, but, you know, going out and drinking and, you know, stuff like that. But it's just. And there are certain teams that are. That are a little more like, socially and, you know, social gathers as. As teams and team dinners and coming over barbecues than others. So there's always a exception to the rules. But it's definitely more of a.
Brent
Is it because of the. The type A personalities?
Justin
I do, I do. I think it's because if everyone's a. I don't know. It's really. I think that's part of it, but I don't think that's. I don't think that's all of it. I think it has to do with a bunch of competing type A personalities. I think it has to do with a bunch of people that are just. That are both extroverts and introverts and at some Point. They just want their introvert time.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
And so, you know, so their. Their work is their extrovert time. But. But they. Yeah, they have to go back and. And reset that. Another thing is you're gone so much. So, like, that's your time to say, hey, like, I'm. I don't have a whole lot of time at home, so this is going to be my, you know, my home time. I just think there's a lot of. A lot of things that. That goes into it. Yeah, it's hard to pinpoint, but it's definitely different. That's for sure.
Brent
Favorite detail as a deputies got to be concerts. I love working concerts. So that's the. The free. The free concert experience right up and close. Going backstage, you know, that's. That's the best.
Mike
Yeah. I used to work the garage all the time for the arena as an officer, and Garth Brooks would do three nights in a row or like five nights in a row sometimes. So it's like I'd take all of them and his. His set would change every time. So I just go at different times in the night, and it's like, you see all the songs and just all the stuff, and then it's like Trisha would come out and you just some. Some good. And. And for me, that was walking through the guts or the belly of the building. Come out right on the floor and you're just like, right there. And it's like, all right, cool. All right, time for me to get back.
Brent
Lots of artists do not like the police backstage, though, because they're terrified that they're going to get arrested for weed.
Mike
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They are.
Brent
They're. They're terrified.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
Well, all the cops said hi to me that knew who I was. None of them got me backstage. I was drunk enough to ask too.
Brent
Shat on 10 bucks. 100 men versus one silverback. The first 15 will have to be sacrificed, but I think humans will win. Thoughts?
Justin
We talked about this last week.
Derek
Not happening. Just.
Justin
I don't see it happening.
Mike
I don't even.
Justin
World in which you live in, if it's just everyone has their hands that anyone can do anything against that and.
Derek
They'Re going to get in each other's. We talked about it. They're going to get in each other's way. At some point, there's going to be too many humans trying to do something, and they're going to be three, four deep, and they're not going to even be effective, and they're just going to get mowed down in layers.
Justin
Yeah. It doesn't even matter. They're getting that. They're getting each other's way. Only 5, 6, 7, 8 can put hands on them at one time to.
Mike
Be in that circle.
Justin
Yeah.
Mike
Everybody else is just really a hundred.
Justin
Versus gorillas given anyone one time.
Derek
If the gorilla's given taint shots, it's really gonna get them. Yeah. And the gorilla taint shots, it's gonna.
Justin
Be.
Derek
Gorilla learn the tape move.
Justin
Yeah.
Derek
And he does.
Justin
Gorillas don't play by any rules. They're out there ripping dicks off, gouging eyes, ripping necks.
Brent
I watched a video of a monkey or chimp or a gorilla in a tree eating one of its own babies.
Mike
It was headless.
Brent
I'm like, monkeys are still priming chimps.
Mike
Yeah, yeah. Chimps are bad.
Brent
Tim Huns with $10 says BBC Blackbeard cigar line coming soon. Condolences to your taint, Bart. In the academy, I once pulled my butt cheek muscle. I didn't know what that was. Possible. But I sure learned.
Justin
I've never heard of that either. But it's a muscle. You'd think.
Mike
You'd think three of them.
Brent
What. What is it?
Mike
Gluteus maximus, minimus. And there's one other one.
Derek
A lot of guys pull their butt cheeks apart, and then they get promote. They get promoted. Or they get, like, ahead. That's. That's nor normally what happens in the.
Justin
Okay.
Derek
They pull them apart.
Mike
Glad you're here for that knowledge.
Derek
Yeah, that's how it goes.
Brent
Blew my o ring Evan for $10. Hey, guys. Combat arms instructor for the military. We shoot the M18. Never seen any issues. Whoever heard recently it might be the holster setting them off? Anyone know of anyone nding being held like one being held and ending.
Derek
It's always been around the holster. The expert will be here maybe next week.
Justin
Well, although I don't believe her. Remember that video we broke down where the one chick police officer shot her? Her partner in the leg. It just went off. And I was like, that's the Miami one.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
Yeah, I. I have a hard time using that one as justification, to be honest with you. There's. There's one that comes to mind, but I don't know if I honestly could use that one.
Derek
I've seen. Everything I've seen has been in and around the holster. Something going on in and around the whole street.
Brent
Like, they're like, user error operator.
Derek
I don't. I don't want to take that stand because people are passionate about it. But I will say I've never. When it goes.
Justin
Because when it goes. Allegiance to Sig. Because your wife.
Derek
No, I. I actually prefer the gun. I like it. I carry one or I carried one, and then I. I own several, but I don't care. It's gone as a gun.
Justin
Did your wife buy them for you and make you halfway?
Derek
But I keep a Smith and Wesson on my nightstand as my ready to go in the middle of night gun. So I'm not biased to the Sig, but when one goes off my closet, I'll be the first one to come out and say it's up. It goes off in the closet or it goes off in the trunk.
Justin
Yeah.
Derek
Then there's a huge problem.
Mike
Are they pointed in a good direction?
Brent
Anybody ending is going to be like.
Derek
It'S a Sig, It's a Sig. Yeah.
Justin
And, you know, maybe. Maybe I was too harsh on. On DJ last week when dj, you know, came out. He got a lot of heat for Sig. Simping that guys were calling it. That's what guys are calling it. He's like. Until you show me a video of. Of that exact thing. And there are. Was like, well, there are videos of them going off, but there are. But now we're going a little deeper into it. I don't. I don't know.
Derek
We had one at our agency and a bunch of people watching.
Justin
Maybe. Maybe.
Derek
Maybe that's why we went transition. We had Sigs. One went off. I saw the video, and there's still something going around. On. Around. He's taking his vest off. He's putting it in the car, and there's something going.
Justin
But it's still in the hole holster.
Derek
So it's not.
Mike
How is there video?
Justin
Weird.
Derek
Where's the video? Parking lot. It was in the park. Yeah, it was our evidence building. He was coming back from lunch, but. And he's suing them and. Is there a problem? I mean, obviously there's one gun that continues to have something go on, but it doesn't help if nobody has said falls in. Well, holsters. This thing is also very. You can do a lot of things, too. You can put different grip. Like Glock is a Glock. Do you have a Glock? You have a Glock. There's no real modifications other than a dot trigger. You see, you can get a different. A grip.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
From another couple, like Wilder Tactical makes a grip. Well, but that's changing things. Then you got. Then you got whole holsters where Sig says, you shouldn't use this holster with this because of the depth of where you can get to the trigger and all that stuff. So there's a lot of things that go into it.
Mike
Well, Matthew from Tone Alert, that's how the guy got him. When the guy was on his back, the guy put his hand into his holster. He had the Safari Land holster that has the kind of more open area for the. For the tactical light or the light underneath it. And the guy was able to get his finger inside of it and. And pull it while it was still holstered.
Derek
And then I got like a girl today. I posted that doesn't have a gun at all.
Mike
Yeah, that's really the safest way to be.
Derek
Maryland captain is in a bank for a meet and greet and she has no gun.
Mike
Coffee with a cop.
Derek
They deleted the post too.
Justin
So I think at least this we can all agree if. If it's the holster. That's still a poor design on Sig that a holster can set off your gun. Sig still has to bear the blame to this and bend the knee to Glock.
Derek
I don't know.
Justin
I had to put the end bend in there.
Derek
I'm gonna go home and shoot myself in the leg with a clock and say it went off. It's happening. I'll be here with a cat. I'll be here with a bandage on these little itty bitty legs will be bandaged up next week. The clock is going to go off.
Mike
That's the good thing. The bullet will actually miss the leg as it goes down.
Derek
I'll be the first one to shoot the Sig off in my. It doesn't hit anything because my s missed.
Mike
That was the whole purpose for the legs.
Derek
I don't train legs, man. Do you want the Sig? I'm scared to sig.
Brent
Chris donated 10 bucks. Says I've asked before but was curious if you guys will ever do a breakdown on Tongo Tango. Would love to hear your perspective. You've asked before and we've answered a couple times for a lot of people that want to know. But the answer is yes. Guess we're just waiting on the right guest to pick a date.
Justin
Yes.
Brent
So once we have that guess like. Like secured to a date. Well, I'll. I'll say it. I'll let you guys know.
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
Nate, Taylor, Bryson, Tristan. Have you gents seen Brimble and Clark's new tweed blazer? It's called the embellishment. Top tier quality. Check out the new brand ambassador. Brimble and Clarks is. What is that?
Justin
Does anyone get that?
Brent
Tim Kennedy. He's talking about.
Justin
It's got to be.
Mike
Yeah, I'll look it up.
Justin
Please.
Brent
It's called the embellishment. John Todd. Brent, does CAG have a reserve element, like 21, 23 SAS or 19 SFG? If not, why is that? You can't take time off, right?
Justin
No. No, no, they don't.
Derek
Well.
Justin
No, they don't.
Brent
Okay. Heartstruck. My date made fun of me for saying tats are only cool if you military, Leo. But imagine being a banker with a. With a. With fortune favors. With. With fortune favors the bold on your back in Latin. That is super lame. Who's in the right?
Justin
Wow.
Mike
Tim Kennedy, Brimble and Clark. Welcome to the family.
Justin
So no tactical company will support him anymore, so he's going for jackets.
Brent
Oh, it's jackets.
Justin
Yeah, it's. Yeah. Someone sent me the. Someone. Nate from Valhalla sent me the post and said enjoy.
Mike
Suits incoming and more. Yeah, There. Yeah, there he is.
Justin
Wow.
Mike
Washington, D.C. i was just. Three days ago. I was there. I could have hung out with you.
Derek
Yeah.
Justin
There you go.
Derek
Maybe Haley will find him.
Mike
Why didn't he call me? I'm sure she already found it. Him.
Brent
To answer your question, tattoo culture is probably 80% not Leon military. So the alt culture and the tattoo universe, most of them have never served a day in their life. So to say that it's lame for them to have tattoos, I. I don't agree with. But, I mean, this is.
Justin
This is what I love. The guy that served, and then when he gets out, that's when he gets all, like, his killer tattoos. And I know this is going to sound like I'm being super judgmental, but the. Generally, this is what happens. And then he kind of reinvents himself.
Brent
Because he doesn't have his peers to call him out.
Justin
That's right. And he. He grows. And I'm not saying, like, you can't grow a beard when you get out. I'm just saying. But you add, like, everything that he's doing.
Brent
The bro.
Justin
That. Yeah. All the brochure vet shirts and all the. All the kill them all tattoos and the big beard, and I can't talk about what I did when he kind of reinvents himself on the way out. Like, you were a supply Kirk for a leg unit.
Brent
We got. We got a call.
Justin
Slow down there, Rambo.
Brent
We got a call from the VA to go check on somebody. He was a crackhead. He was a Desert Storm veteran, and he was having a PTSD episode. And of course you try. Not with those guys. You Try not to be disrespectful because you want to ask, like, when were you in? Where did you serve? And he was like, I was a fuel specialist. And I'm like, Like, oh, man. I was like, okay, all right. What'd you do in the Gulf War? And he's like, oh, I went to Gulf War. Then I did a bunch of stuff I can't talk about.
Justin
Oh, yeah.
Brent
And all my buddies were ragging on me like, he's cooler than you. He's cooler than you. This guy was only 80 seconds.
Derek
I was putting. I was putting 90 octane in an 88 octane. Octane engine. I was crazy.
Justin
Yeah, I was just over octaining the.
Brent
Yeah, I was putting helicopters sabotaging our own fleet.
Justin
And when the CIA found out that I was over octane and things, they.
Derek
Scooped me right up. That's why I got this tattoo.
Brent
That's right. I called you to crack.
Mike
Pulled me and threw me into Columbia.
Derek
I'm really not on crack. I'm just undercover.
Brent
John Todd. Brent, when you left the army, could they have called you back in a time of need? Is there a period of time after you leave where you know you could be called back in? Or when you are gone, you are gone?
Justin
I medically retired, so I don't believe so on a medical retirement be a bad.
Derek
Hey, we're going to put you in this wheelchair. Bring it. Bring out here.
Brent
We need every gun we can get.
Justin
Yeah, when. When you. When you call the guy back pulling his taint muscle. You are digging the bottom of the barrel.
Derek
We created robotic prone for you now checks up.
Brent
That's about it.
Derek
You can't ride any horses, but we can. We can wheel you in with a sniper rifle.
Justin
Someone's going to have to carry it for me.
Brent
All right, let's go back to the Instagram.
Mike
Oh, man. You can't ride a bull.
Brent
All right. Okay.
Derek
I just.
Brent
I want you to see this, Brent. I just want you to watch it. That's it. Okay. That's it. All right. Play. Oh, wow.
Justin
Oh, wow. He put in the work on this one.
Brent
That was what I was saying is where do people get the time for this?
Justin
Yeah, that one's a great.
Derek
Conspiracy theories. Well.
Brent
Okay. Is he dead? Timothy McVeigh.
Derek
Yeah, they executed. Executed him?
Justin
Yeah, I think so.
Brent
Okay. Or did they.
Derek
Well, I don't know.
Justin
Yeah.
Mike
Or did he just go back to work?
Derek
He's with Epstein somewhere.
Justin
They're.
Derek
They're hanging out.
Mike
Not with Diddy.
Derek
No. Did. He'll kill himself in prison.
Justin
John McPhee.
Brent
We should cover the.
Justin
You.
Brent
You do have to admit this. There is some trippy surveillance footage of maybe a second person involved in that helped Timothy McVeigh. That was never brought to justice. Have you ever seen that?
Justin
No, I haven't even heard that.
Brent
They said that they think that based off video and I've seen the video. They. That he might have had an accomplice.
Justin
Got the cutter.
Brent
Cutters right there. Your phone's on.
Mike
Underneath your phone. I'll hold your phone.
Justin
No, I have not heard that good.
Brent
Series because of no information. Everyone ran with. Well, that was his CIA. So. Because there's no information.
Justin
That's right. And when there's no information, that's when it gets. John Q. Public will fill it.
Mike
It's easy. Just think they didn't have podcasts back then to figure everything out.
Justin
Yeah, right.
Derek
Cnn, NBC, msnb.
Mike
That's it. We only had them.
Derek
And you believed everything you saw. You believed everything you saw, right?
Justin
Because that's what CIA operatives want to do. They want to find ways to mass murder Americans. That's why they joined the agents agency. I mean, it makes no sense. It makes no sense. You can hit the CIA all you want. There's no one volunteer in the CIA to go kill to mass murder.
Brent
It kind of goes back to what you say sometimes when you're anti conspiracy and anti fun. You say that somebody in the last 50 years would have went, you know what CIA tried to get me to do?
Justin
Right, Right.
Brent
And it would have been like 10 more people would have said yes.
Derek
But would they.
Justin
That's right.
Derek
Would they be so isolated that they.
Justin
Commit suicide at some point?
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
And. And you go down that road. But it's not just this one. You know, it's. It's that. It's whatever. It's Katrina. It's September 11th.
Derek
Cameraman on the moon that filmed.
Mike
George Bush hates black.
Justin
But there's never been one whistleblower that was like on their deathbed is like, it's time to tell.
Brent
I have a question. So, okay. Do you believe that there could be something to mysterious suicides when it comes to.
Derek
Yes.
Brent
Yes, absolutely. Do you think that those are field operators doing that?
Justin
No.
Brent
No. You don't think those are people breaking into houses, tying nooses around their necks and making it look like they killed? No.
Justin
I think this is going to be. This is what. I hate using this word because what does it really mean? I think those are deep state operatives. Which. Which is. What does that mean? I don't know. And anyone that the Clinton administration will pay ten grand to that has dirt on them.
Derek
So not necessarily government employee, somebody, something.
Justin
Right. Yeah. There's killer for hire. Right. There's. There's hitman for hire all over this country. People get in trouble for. For it all the time with their spouses.
Brent
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Justin
You're telling me the Clintons can't find one?
Brent
Well, I always thought. I mean, has there any ever been rumors, like, in the. In the. In your community where, like, where'd so and so go to work? Like, all of a sudden he's on a yacht. Yeah.
Derek
Imagine the pressure of being in that job, like, with everything you know and do, you're gone. You're signed up.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
You're signed up for death. Yeah.
Derek
You look wrong. You don't answer your phone one time, and they're like, well, he's gone. He must be with the CIA. He must be talking to the feds. He's gone. So it's like, for sure. It's a really not fun job to that. I would think you'd want to have.
Brent
A hitman for the Clintons.
Derek
No, no, no.
Brent
You'll do about two jobs, and then you're done.
Mike
The next guy in line.
Justin
That's right. Yeah.
Brent
Zulu whiskey. What's up, boys? Brent, thoughts on ground branch? Good, bad, or gay?
Justin
They're good, but they're good if you know it. They really do like about that as well. If. When. When there's not enough information about them, people make it up. They. They do great. They're. They are essentially, you know, green Berets for hire. I say Green Berets. That's the type of job they do. They do Green Beret type of jobs for the most part. And they're force multipliers, and they go to different countries and they train that force and. And they help that country become more stable. And they do it for a lot of money and not a lot of resources. It's just not a job that I would want to do. But if you still have that itch that the military didn't scratch, there's your job.
Brent
You have.
Justin
You'll have a great gym, you'll have a great chef, you have great living conditions, and you'll have a job that you can still shoot people every now and again.
Mike
Yeah.
Brent
I'm not even trying to say that name for 20 bucks. In. In the Deming episode, he made allegations about conditions of last recovered seals remains in Red Wings, indicating he passed within a day or two of recovery. He's talking about.
Justin
His name Dietz?
Brent
No, the other guy. Axel.
Justin
Oh, Axel. Yeah, I think Axel. I know I should know the names better.
Brent
It was either Axel or Dietz and.
Justin
Said he made it all the way back to, like, the Exville Point.
Brent
Had. Had he not said they were dead, they could have made it a rescue rather than recovery and maybe gotten him before he died. Maybe.
Derek
Yeah, it was said that he was, like, just dead when they found him.
Brent
Like, yeah, he. He would.
Derek
He was alive for a good significant. A significant amount of time.
Brent
If the. The argument is, is Marcus Luttrell had said, I don't know if they're dead or not, it could have made it a rescue mission rather than a recovery. That's all I remember Deming saying.
Justin
Right.
Brent
And Brent, Ever heard this from other sources independent of Deming?
Justin
I. I haven't. I can say I haven't. I'll say this. It's like one of those things. Like, what's it, the blue car theory or red car theory? Like, once you start looking for it, you see it. Yeah, I've. I've heard it more since then, and it jumps out to me, but I don't. I don't. I honestly don't remember hearing it before that.
Brent
Yeah, me neither. Randy Albert. 20 bucks. Thank you. TK's Nades. 20 bucks.
Mike
Don't forget, Nathan Wilson wears my favorite Drew P. Balls. Much love, fellas.
Justin
He is at the Okaloosa SWAT competition up in the Panhandle.
Mike
Practicing.
Justin
He's. He's feeding them all coffee and cigars for the. For. For a couple days.
Derek
Favorite group of people, the old SWAT boys.
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
What I'm missing, what's Drew P. Balls mean? Is that just a.
Justin
Thursday night?
Derek
Never.
Justin
Never lets us down.
Derek
Remember, remember, he's investigating your car burglary tomorrow morning. If you get your car broken into, old deputy Droopy Balls is coming to to check your car.
Brent
Droopy Balls.
Mike
So excited to read it. I was hoping I was going to get him.
Justin
Oh, hey. He's in the comment section.
Derek
Me and you.
Justin
What's up, boys? All the Z's.
Brent
Oh, there he is. TK's Nades think that I just saw one of Copville's nads. Looked like a coconut.
Derek
You wouldn't see it.
Brent
There's only.
Mike
There's only one.
Derek
With the amount of steroids I'm on, you wouldn't be able to see them. They're shrunk up.
Mike
It's a uniball.
Brent
Brett and Tyler, any plans to do an episode on the American Taliban? John Walker, Lind and Any more thoughts on doing an episode on Mike Spann? CIA contractor killed at Qualing Jing prison uprising in 2021?
Justin
That one's crossed my mind. Not. Not the, not the. Not the American Taliban guy.
Brent
Him.
Justin
Exactly. He deserves no notoriety. So many other good stories to tell before we get to him for sure. Oh, I said. I said I would do this. I. I figured I'd forget. Every now and again, I get into the comment section on. On videos, and someone said something about a gun comment that we made.
Brent
They said a lot about gun comments.
Justin
And they actually said something good about it now. And I said, the cops should have. Remember the, the conversation we had? Something like the cops needed the. The firepower to match the criminals. And then I said, and, and like it or not, because of the, The Second Amendment, the. The criminals or the citizens deserve to have the firepower to match the cops. And you may not like how that sounds, but in a weird.
Brent
He said, you redeemed yourself.
Justin
Yes.
Brent
From a past episode where he taught.
Justin
I don't remember what. And he, he couldn't remember what the past episode was either. Then at some point he's like, I doubt this is really. I doubt this is really Brent from the podcast. And I said, I'll.
Brent
I'll.
Justin
I'll bring it up during the podcast.
Brent
Yeah, yeah. He also said that it might be Tyler sitting there eating donuts, reminiscing. I'm like, you, dude.
Mike
Of course it's Tyler.
Brent
No, but then somebody said that I critiqued the fact that law enforcement gave these two guys conspiracy to commit robbery, did 100 days in jail, gave them back most of their arsenal. I said, what the fuck were they thinking? And everybody, the. The, the extreme two right people said, no, Matt, those are the people. No matter what, you shall not infringe. Shall not infringe. No matter what. No matter.
Justin
And we talked about that because I said, well, if they, if they were legal guns, they absolutely should have had him back, no matter how bad it looked. If you're not going to charge them with a crime and you're going to let him go, then you have to give them their guns back. You may not like it, but that's how I said if they were legal. And then someone else came back and said that they believe that story had to do with they. That they were illegal, but they wanted to give them the guns back because they wanted the ATF to get involved. Do you remember that? Com. The rest of that comment?
Mike
Some sort of a possession type one.
Justin
Yeah. And. But they, but they wouldn't and I.
Brent
Don'T want the ATF getting involved in anything.
Justin
And I'll tell you why that sounds suspicious suspicious to me because in the 90s the ATF was looking for wins. I don't know Ruby Ridge, Waco, they were. They were looking for.
Derek
So if they.
Mike
Could get something set up on a team.
Justin
But oh but he also said that's what one of the LAPD police officers that that was working at that time told him. So I'll take people at the word and if that's true there's there might be some validity.
Brent
Well I mean the only thing worse than the private news network is the cop news network. One cop saying like I think this happened.
Justin
Yeah. He said he heard it directly from an LAPD guy. So I I don't know who was.
Mike
Talking to another LAPD that was joking around about some terrible making it up up as a joke and then another guy takes it as the gospel and starts spreading it around anybody.
Brent
Yeah. But maybe yeah.
Derek
Mormon religion. That's why the some guy looked in a hole and then made up his own story.
Justin
I tell you what I do like about the comment section can be annoying and and a little bit fraught with.
Derek
It.
Justin
There's. There's also a lot of good comments of people like adding. Adding information because we'll never get all the information.
Brent
Small detail.
Justin
Right. And it was good information and that.
Brent
Happens almost every because yeah there's no we're not. We didn't spend five years researching this topic and then producing a book about it.
Justin
Right.
Mike
We're covering also a one hour to two hour show.
Justin
Right.
Mike
You can't talk about it.
Justin
And when it goes out to 1020000 people like there's going to be people that were much closer to it and have like actual either inside information and this and those comments are actually really.
Brent
The most impressive one was when literally solve the mystery of the five guys that walked up to the crash site.
Justin
Ah that was a good one.
Brent
I'm sure other people knew but the fact that the family couldn't get answers and they got answers because somebody saw it and goes I can tell you exactly who that was. I think it was like 10th Mountain. Yeah like they're out there so I mean that's cool. And I hate shedding light on the negative comments because it takes. It does. We don't. We don't show any credit to the 85 positive comments. No that because yeah negativity.
Justin
I guess that is a good point.
Derek
Yeah it gets you excited. The negative ones get you Excited.
Mike
Gets his own video.
Brent
Brian Tyler. Okay, Bright and Tyler Boober, active 16 years. SoCalio here. Bright, can we get a quick walkthrough of FRCC humidor? Number one on my Father's day wish list. Number two is frcc, and number three is frcc. Thanks, fellas.
Justin
It's a lot like my. It's a lot like my pistol list. Redundant. The. Yeah, I mean, wish we could detach a. A camera and walk through the one right beside me, but it's full of. It's kind of. It's full of everything. I usually have some Maduro's in there, some Deltas or some Delta Limiteds.
Derek
Those.
Justin
Those are my top three. And I keep the. The humidor flush with them.
Mike
Them.
Justin
But I have some Connecticuts in there for guests who. Who are occasional smokers and want a lighter cigar as well.
Brent
High tower, 20 bucks. Thanks, bro. Flight tax, 85. 20 bucks. Love the show, boys. That's all.
Mike
I think you skipped one. Did you do D? Michael Bren, have you ever worked with French sas? It's a question that's been asked, I'm sure.
Brent
Thank you.
Mike
If. If so, how good are they? Do they compare to a tech guy? Man, he's great at this.
Brent
This.
Justin
I've been in the same country with them several times, and I've. I've seen their missions. Never worked directly with them. They can be aggressive. They can be in Syria. To be honest, they can be a little overly aggressive, and they would end up getting themselves in the ticks, which would pull air support away for the thing that was really going on. And you're like, what? You. There was no reason for you to do that. And now you're taking assets. They're not bad. They're not great. They're just. They're the French.
Brent
They walk in the bar, they're like, these Americans are fighting all the time. We got to get into a bar fight. Yeah, we got to be able to compare.
Justin
They've definitely done some good things, but they're. But they're not the Brits.
Brent
Conrad Healy. 10 bucks. Former Army California medic, now firefighter medic in Connecticut. Brent, have you ever worked with rrc? What's your. Your no BS assessment on them?
Mike
Yeah, stop with the bs. All right.
Justin
My no BS assessment on them.
Brent
You were going to, but since you said not to.
Justin
They're good dudes. They have a ridiculous selection process, and their selection is so hard. My challenge to them would be, if you're going to go to selection that hard, just go to the unit the unit and have. And have a real mission. They're good dudes. The lifelongers that really loved and were proud of their unit, as they should be, would probably say, oh, we did have real missions. But they could have went somewhere else.
Brent
And had a lot better missions all day, every day. 25 bucks. Interview Sergeant Scott DeCarlo from Weehawk in New Jersey PD about the dancing Israelis on 911 and how Shirtoff let them bounce back to Israel.
Derek
I saw a little bit about that. There was supposedly some guys dancing and celebrating and they got pulled over. They were in a van. And there's. It's a. Obviously a story, but there's something to that effect. Like, these guys were celebrating the towers being hit and they were stopped and questioned slightly and then let go. And I read it the other day somewhere like that.
Justin
There's. All right, there's. To me, there's no way that's like the North. Like, I'm not painting Israel with that. With that paintbrush, because that's. That's not. Generally speaking, you know, their. Their reaction, like, the. Israel was not happy that 3,000Americans were killed by their. Their hated enemy, correct Islam. So. But that would be like us having to justify stupid liberals as at. At college universities, you know, that are.
Mike
Dancing over libraries that.
Justin
That are dancing for dead Americans or dancing for dead, like, good people around the minority. Yeah, yeah. And like, they're like, oh, you see the Americans that did that, like, no, they're not. We're not claiming them.
Brent
The Canadians say that the. The Canadians that booed the Americans during the. The hockey were a silent minority of Canadians. And then I said that. And you said, well, they're still Canadians.
Mike
Yeah. And then you also get the crowd. You get crowd think or group think where they start hearing noise and they're just like, all right, let's make this a little louder. And I'm gonna start booing. What are we booing at? Oh, the American. Oh, no, I'm not gonna boo with the.
Derek
Nationally, you know?
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
Anybody will see me drop my cigar on my crotch, I'm gonna act like it didn't happen.
Derek
Did you do it?
Brent
Yeah. The camera was on Brent.
Mike
On your. On your lower floor muscle.
Derek
Do you have a teen injury now as well?
Brent
We are at the hour mark, so we're going to go ahead and take a word from our sponsors. Refill on beer. Go pee. But today's episode is brought to you by Cloud Defensive. The best in weapons mount and handheld illumination. Go to clouddefensive.com use promo code ANTIHERO15 and get 15% off some of the best lights. We were just talking about them. Everybody uses them. They are what you need to stay in the game. So cloud defensive.com anti hero 15 15% off roll the commercials.
Justin
Hey guys, I want to introduce our latest sponsor Brotherhood Blades. They're made for cops and first responders by cops. They make it the way they do because they know what the job means. Everything is handmade or machined in the usa. Their blades are made to be used and abused because they have some of the best super steels offered. With the use of super steels, general care is limited. You can use it and forget about it without the fear of rusting something first responders are good at. Lifetime warranties come with every blade that cover pretty much anything other than losing your blade or using it to perform outlandish tasks that you wouldn't usually use the blade for. Probably like using it as a screwdriver. Something we've all done. They have a lifetime sharpening. You only pay one way shipping. If you want to head over to their custom page, your imagination is their limitation. They'll try anything once. They've outfitted numerous teams without blades and I've customized the blades to their specifications including custom lasering sheath, color schemes and sheath attachments. Head on over to brotherhoodblades.com and get you one. And by the way, I'm not just a spokesman for them, I'm a customer. I carry theirs every day with me and I wouldn't be talking about them if I didn't trust their product promo code. AntiHero10 Seracode is what we are known for, but we do a lot more. Howe Arms is a disabled veteran owned business specializing in custom firearm creation and gunsmithing. Richard Howe, the company's founder, is a two tour army combat veteran of the Afghanistan conflict. After his service, Richard earned his degree in marketing and founded Howell Arms. Using both the skills from his time in the army and his college degree. Richard's goal for Howell Arms is to redesign and customize firearms that are both reliable and combat proven. Our entire team is comprised solely of disabled veterans or family members. This is not a self feature but a choice to help other veterans transition into civilian life with a purpose and support network.
Brent
And we're back. All right, so continuing the super chats, jettison 11 captain kag america blink if the boys picked up El Chapo and I'll try to send the link to the dev vehicle interdiction.
Justin
They didn't.
Brent
Zulu Whiskey oh I forgot to tell you I Talked to Philip from hptrt. Starting the process asap. Thanks, guys.
Justin
Feels great.
Brent
Yes. Phil has been a lifesaver with the little mishap that happened. What's not a mishap? It's just lots of miscommunication with hptrt. So they're. They're unfucking it. It's just it. It got fast, and unfucking it takes a minute. But Phil's been integral in that he wants you guys to call him. So message us if you want to talk to Phil about any issues you would like to talk to you first before you jump ship or choose to leave hptrt. Talk with Phil first. And. And he can kind of sometimes expedite things.
Mike
He just wish I had known that.
Brent
He just needs to know. Were you with him?
Mike
No. Yeah, I'm with him. And I was like, bro, I can't log in, change my email, change my password. What the is going on?
Derek
And.
Mike
And so I was like, help desk this. That I'm sure are what people are going through.
Brent
Yeah, Phil. Phil would have go down to the.
Derek
Corner store and buy a quick hit of testosterone.
Mike
Corner store. I go to the corner, gave me something, shoved it in my ass.
Brent
Evan. For five bucks. Has there ever been another incident happening? Like the Ash street shootout with 75th vs. Crips? Wedding was a success. Got honeymoon tomorrow.
Justin
Nice.
Brent
The popo medic guy did a great breakdown of that bat in Washington. The second bat Ranger dude bought some property, tried gentrifying it. Kind of the movie Gran Torino is based on that story. Oh, yeah. Where he just didn't back down to the gangs. He called up his buddies and said, tonight, they're coming after me. They had a big shootout. I don't think anybody died. And they don't know if anybody was hit on the bad guy side because they all took off.
Mike
Off.
Brent
So when the police won't solve your problems, this is America. You got to solve them for yourself. Chris Ledemza, 20 bucks. Another $20 for Shades of Black.
Mike
Three shades of black.
Brent
Three shades of black.
Justin
Give it to me.
Brent
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Justin
So where does that go under three shades of black, Hank. Third. Hank.
Brent
All right, we're at 40, 20, and 20. Randy Albert, 20 bucks. What about the gay Marines posting themselves on Tik Tok in uniform?
Justin
Don't do it.
Brent
In overt debauchery, Jay at Green Beret Chronicles tackles this and other gay trans military tick tock videos. What's happening, Jaywood?
Justin
Hopefully enough people like. Like Jay will shame these people into acting, right? That's the only way to do it. You have to shame them into acting. Right.
Mike
Do they have shame?
Brent
I don't think they have changed.
Derek
I shame myself into getting black by a new one.
Justin
Here's. Here's. Here's my rebuttal to that. They're. They're obviously influenced easily because they saw it and they thought it was cool, so they jumped on that train. So if they can be influenced that way, they can be influenced the other way.
Mike
Influenced out of it. I just. I have such a hard time because Marines get such a indoctrination in boot camp and stuff like that.
Brent
How would that happen?
Mike
It's like, yeah, how do you.
Derek
We.
Mike
How do we get here?
Brent
Have you ever visited a Marine when they graduate? They're like robots.
Mike
Yeah.
Brent
They have to, like, learn how to be human again.
Mike
Right? Like, so I just. I. I find it almost like, are they even really Marines? You know, just my defensive Marines conspiracy. Are they even Marines or are they. Did they just go to an army Navy surplus and buy an outfit?
Justin
But here's the thing. Now we have to go down the whole rabbit hole, which would be, are those TikTok dancing cops really cops?
Brent
I can tell.
Mike
Of course they are.
Justin
A couple aren't. Because you can. You would be able to tell a lot better than me. You can look at some of their kid and be like, come on, dude.
Brent
Yeah, that. Or they're in.
Derek
There's like a couple TV show cops that are like, I get sent out a lot. It's like a show that they're filming, like, Netflix show, and they dance and people think it's real and it's like actors. But you can always tell, like, Reno 9 out where they work.
Justin
Work.
Derek
Like, he'll catch a glimpse of their patch, and before you know it, Izzo's in the DMS of, like, the agency.
Mike
Like, he's like, enhanced. Enhanced.
Derek
He's good.
Brent
Hard stuck, says Brent. I bought a patch from your old teammate last year as a collectible. Obviously it's a cool piece of history, but if you want. If you or him want it back, please let me know.
Justin
No, man, if you got a hold that, I'd keep that. I mean, yeah, but right back in the comments, I'll see if I can't find it. Describe the patch to me.
Brent
Me, Nate Taylor, 20 bucks. Played the theme from Airwolf.
Justin
Oh, I love that. You know, they have a remix of it too. That's really good.
Mike
I'm sure they do, like, one of.
Justin
Those, like, house remixes.
Mike
Yeah, I used to have the little. Like the individual games, like just the little gray and black screen of Airwolf.
Justin
Yeah, I rarely listen to any, like, EDM house type music, but when they remix a song like that, I'm in for it.
Brent
Did you guys see the Valhalla VFTA video breaking down the failures regarding the communication during Operation Red Wings?
Justin
I did not.
Brent
I did not. Tyler, hopefully you didn't sustain an injury to your taint by dropping the cigar in the crotch. Worried about your brother? Rock on. Oh, man. Speaking of the last episode, the comments did not let me live anything down, so I said a couple words.
Justin
Oh.
Brent
I said. I said the. The fed, the feds or the authorities put a kebab to it. Instead of kibosh, they put a kebab. Oh, they were times camping.
Justin
Okay, that one, to be honest with you, I heard in real time, and it was a recorded episode, and I almost went. Hold on. You said kebab? I think you said. I wasn't certain. I was like, I think you said kebab, but. But I. I let it go because. And I shouldn't have.
Mike
That was.
Justin
That one is on me, to be honest with you. And then I didn't catch the second one, though.
Brent
And then I talked about robberies resubmerging in the 60s, and they're like reemerging idiots.
Mike
So Tyler speak is like reading Fat Thumb. It's like. It's like I'll read something slowly in a text just so I'm like, I think I've got the genuine feel of what you're trying to say.
Brent
I'm not a news anchor, guys.
Justin
All right. Interested in your opinion on this As a fellow music enthusiast, you like to go to concerts, as I do. Kid Rock opened the next day after Nickelback. And who. Who opened for Kid Rock on Saturday was Hank Williams Jr. Super excited to see it. Know a lot of his songs. Love to sing along with him. You had a concert?
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
You sing along. He would redo the lyrics a lot.
Brent
What do you mean?
Mike
He would go off script?
Justin
Yeah, he would either like change this word for, you know, ocala or change. That's a bad example of it. But, like, just change words and it really screws it up as a fan in the audience when there's a bunch of people around you singing along and he's going pretty off script. PC and it's over and over and over, and it kind of took the experience out of it a little bit. Like, just. I don't. It's. It's live. I don't you can sing however you want occasionally. But to mess with every song and how much he messed with it, it kind of became him. And people are going to be like, hang Williams. You can do whatever he wants. And then they're probably right. He can do it.
Mike
They're probably right. And then the thing is, is how long he's been doing this.
Justin
Yeah.
Mike
Music game forward. How many times he's been singing that before. So maybe he mixes it up. But in defense of him. But I agree. What do you think you're there for the first time or the second time you've ever seen?
Brent
Yeah.
Mike
So you want it.
Brent
I paid.
Mike
You want it Perfect.
Brent
Yeah.
Mike
But he's done it as long as.
Brent
He wasn't doing it to be PC and changing our words like.
Mike
Like no or something.
Justin
There's only one song. There's only one song. He does that too.
Derek
Gosh.
Justin
Which I remember it was like he used to say, I get stoned and.
Mike
Get drunk in the morning. I get high.
Justin
But now that he's not, he's older and he's a Christian, I think he changes those words. He G's down that word. I don't agree with that if I remember right. But. But it was because you got to.
Mike
Own up to who you at least.
Brent
Yeah. I mean, that was a hit. That was a hit. It so.
Mike
Said I get stoned on Jesus.
Brent
Brad Hewitt. 20 bucks. Love the show boys. Tyler, Airborne all the way. Brent, of course. No, no name drops. But do you know the boys from ODA 3435, 2012, 2013. Being an SF diver from Cocoa beach paratrooper.
Justin
Oh, I don't think so. I don't think I know them. That. That would have been at the unit then. So I wouldn't have known a lot of. Of SF guys currently roadies at the time.
Brent
Hightower, five bucks. Kyle Morgan and Blake Cook versus Brenton Tyler. Range day testing. One SFD versus Leo versus one SFD versus Leo. So we've actually talked not to them about it. So if they hear this, this will be the news. But we've talked about doing a paintball tournament for charity because speedball with the paintball and the big airbags and is a different game. And I feel like if you did. Like if you did team them team Blue bearing versus team anti hero or even if you did Leo versus soft paintball, it might as well be paying air hockey against each other. Like there's paintballs. I mean, it's got a little different.
Mike
Yeah, it's got a little different Technique.
Brent
And I thought that would be so fun. Either one of those. Either the their team versus our team. And we recruit players. Players. Right. We recruit or we do LEO versus off and we recruit high end Leo people and paintball players versus. I think that would make a lot of money for charity.
Mike
The good at it.
Derek
Mike. Yeah, sure.
Justin
Yeah, sure.
Mike
Are you a high end love?
Derek
No. I gotta say, man, I'm just gonna get everybody.
Justin
Maybe even yourself.
Derek
Yeah, yeah. When I'm ready to go. Like I'm four. When I was out four. You always carried the cat. AIA car when you're ready.
Mike
I'm pretty sure you guys have talked about it. Those YouTube videos of like SF guys that'll infiltrate an Airsoft, I've never watched.
Brent
When I've seen them.
Mike
Oh, I watched it. Yeah. Sometimes I get them because I'll get the ones that some guys, like sniper type guys will pick out cheaters, like in Airsoft stuff, you know, and he like does cheaters.
Brent
Airsoft is more. I could see that. Milsom. It's military simulation. Paintball is just run around sliding in bicycle gear.
Derek
Yeah, yeah.
Mike
And just waste money.
Derek
Consequences to your actions, you know, there's no consequence to your actions.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
And more directly about that, I, I see some videos of, of Kyle shooting. And you know, Kyle still trains a lot and he still shoots a lot and he's, he's still got it. I watch him like. Nice. That's something. That's, that's a good drill.
Derek
Unless you do it shirtless, you get welded up.
Justin
Yeah, Yeah. I, I, I do not shoot as, as, as much as Kyle. And I'm sure Kyle would wipe the floor with me.
Brent
And I do not shoot as much as Blake. So we might need some prep time.
Justin
Yeah, we're gonna need some train up time.
Derek
Is your gun, is your gun rusted? Can you work the slide on your patrol weapon?
Justin
Depends. We're doing this like next weekend. We're doing this like two months from now.
Brent
All right, let's go to Instagram. All right, so the next one down. All right, this is, this is the infamous video, guys. All right, you ready?
Justin
Put it down. You should probably put it down. Hey.
Derek
Put it down.
Justin
Or walk away.
Brent
998.
Derek
998.
Brent
Okay, at face value, what do you guys think?
Derek
Well, this is the part that you gotta see.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
That was the end. This is why he has a gun.
Brent
So he took it from her. There's that stupid one minute buffer. You don't get anything now.
Derek
Wait, she's gonna turn her Body cam off.
Justin
She's gonna take the time to turn.
Derek
Her body cam off. Up. I got a lot to say about this. This is bad. Somebody said they're watching.
Brent
Please don't shoot me. Is that what she said?
Derek
Yes. Yes.
Brent
That's tough to watch.
Derek
Oh my God.
Brent
It's tough to listen to.
Mike
You're saying she actually put her body. Tried to tap her body cam.
Derek
Go back and that's my first big.
Mike
But the body cam would have been on when the gun came out.
Derek
Or now that not everybody has that.
Brent
Or.
Derek
Or there's the big brother going back anyway.
Mike
Yeah. It's always going to be 18 hours.
Derek
But my problem is that we are so indoctrinated to make sure that body cam goes on. She relinquished a two handed grip on her gun while fighting for it to tap her body camera on with one hand. Giving him the advantage now to have two hands on the gun and take it away from her. So that's a massive training issue. And that's also that I better get my body cam on or I'm going to get fried.
Mike
Yeah.
Brent
Over.
Derek
I need to protect my gun and not get killed.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
And that was me that was subconsciously made that decision to turn her body cam on. That should be the last thing on your mind. The radio out the window. You don't need your radio.
Brent
They teach you radio. The radio. You need to figure out what's going on for five seconds.
Justin
She was. She was overcome by events.
Derek
Correct.
Justin
And. And lost. Lost sight of what was important because she wasn't mentally prepared. She wasn't physically able to. That wasn't a big dude. That was a crackhead that came up and just ripped. It didn't even just rip. Fought her gun, you know out of her hands. Had. You have to be fired. You. You would.
Derek
And happened.
Brent
You. You caught somebody their life essentially because.
Justin
They did you almost cost yourself your life. Yes.
Brent
They committed the action. So all blame does go to them. We talk about that. It goes without saying. Obviously I'm a cop. We're very pro police. So it goes without saying that yes, that is that guy's fault. Now when you take the way the public perceives that and the way it goes down in court sometimes is had that been a capable cop that guy might still be alive because he didn't get the gun.
Justin
Right.
Brent
He took off running on foot. They caught him with a dog and he went to jail. Right.
Mike
But yeah, caught. Caught some.
Brent
He'll probably get killed later on.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
He'll.
Mike
He'll eventually die earlier than he Would have, should have of either by his own hand taking drugs or someone else.
Justin
It's funny, I didn't. I. Because the first video was kind of far away and it looked like a male to me, but it wasn't certain. And then after the guy was shot in the, in the police cruiser, I heard a girl moaning. And I thought, oh, maybe it was a girl that just got shot up. But it was the female police officer in the distance still moaning for and following in her. And I get it. By all rights, you should be dead right now. If he wanted to kill you, you would be. Be dead right now.
Derek
Yes.
Justin
You cannot be a cop.
Derek
I agree.
Justin
And, and it's not because you're a female.
Brent
Well, well, no. I mean if, if, if, if, if.
Justin
That guy came up and took it out of your hands and you did the same thing that he did.
Derek
Mike. Yeah.
Justin
I'd ask you to be fired.
Derek
Yeah. No, and I agree.
Justin
But here's the problem. That guy's not taking the gun out of your hand.
Derek
Probably not. And that's where the whole female thing comes in. Like male, female thing comes in where it gets Harry. Because there's a lot of people that critiqued her for pulling her gun out in the first place.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
Inherently, women are smaller, men are larger. Even though he's a crackhead, I would assume. And I've seen this girl's picture now.
Brent
Yeah.
Derek
Way bigger than her. She's in a coffin. She's in her car.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
She can't go anywhere. So drawing the gun and presenting it isn't my problem.
Justin
That's not my problem.
Derek
The problem is what did you do next and what was your plan? And that is my, my biggest issue with that entire thing is you had two hand gun retention. She took the time to stop the two handed grip on her gun to turn her body camera on. That's a social issue with the, with our. All our videos have to be on. Everything has to be recorded. And that's a training issue. That when your gun is in jeopardy. Biting, kicking, stomping, everything. And then everybody's making a great case now, which is a new trend is edge weapons. Police should be carrying edge weapons to slash that dude's throat while that fight's going on.
Mike
My microtech right here up in the top of my chest in case I'm ever tucked in.
Justin
She, she wouldn't have went for it.
Derek
Yeah, I agree with you, but.
Brent
And here we need to be.
Derek
And that's where I get back to the. Get down, get back, get back. That's the training we need to be doing. That's what needs to be being trained regularly. That's what America has come to.
Justin
I don't want it to seem like this, but I almost feel like just being blunt with you that you're almost giving her an out because you're like. But she felt the need to turn on a body cam and that is, and that's a problem that the department plays responsibility in. No, the department never told her that. I agree that you have to do this when your gun's getting pulled out.
Brent
The pressure, the pressure on camera. I would do the same thing if I'm about to fucking plug someone in the chest. I mean, but the whole to the argument, the whole point of the 1 minute buffer is to do it.
Justin
And.
Brent
It goes back a minute so it catches the shooting.
Derek
Well, if Evan would stop lying to you. It's on all the time anyway. Yeah, it goes back 12 hours. So it's always going to be there. But I see what you're saying. I'm not giving her a pass. I think that's part of it. The bottom line is she was not able to defend herself. She was not able to overcome, nor.
Brent
Should a female have to defend herself against a guy taking a gun from. That's what men are for. If I was walking with my wife and a guy tried taking something out of her hand, I would stop that man.
Mike
Can. Yeah, well, and you mentioned, you said the coffin of the car for me, the, the car and we've talked about it on other videos and other shows that the, the car is, in my opinion, it's a tool. It's just like something on your belt. You have to understand how to use it fully. You can't just think, oh, this just gets me from point A to point B. It's either a coffin or if this guy's approaching you and you aren't physically able to defend yourself in the doorway of your car, shut that door, put it in drive and move. Get the hell away from position, get out, separate yourself from the door. Attack.
Derek
Advance exactly two minutes. So that started video actually starts like two or three minutes early.
Justin
Okay.
Derek
That's like a three minute foot pursuit. So my other problem with that is why is she still sitting in her car?
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
You know, a guy is running through a parking lot and I'll tell you another terrible thing about the video. The mail officer actually at one point says if he runs again, we'll just gonna let him go. So you got this methed out mental health maniac roaming a parking Lot. And your mind actually thought you were gonna let him go. It like he's got to be detained. He's a danger to everybody, as we saw. But that was ongoing. She knew he was running, which direction. Knew he was get. Knew she never even put her car in park. If you watch the car rolls forward and crashes into the mail truck. I mean, we've all been on. We've all been on perimeters. We don't sit on our car in a perimeter. Yeah, we get out of our car on the perimeter. We're prepared for looking around our music. Everything else is going on in the car. You get out of your car and you're looking. I have a problem with her sitting in the car during a foot.
Justin
And I say this all the time. Excuse me. We talk about this sometimes when I train SWAT teams. Sometimes I'll just. I'll say law enforcement now, but it could be anyone. They do things to. To try to be safe, but in actuality, it actually makes the situation more dangerous. And there is a prime example of her being halfway in her car, feeling like, hey, I'm in this safe spot. When you are not either be out of your car. And you would have known way before he got there that. That. That is. You're not. You cannot. You can't let safety play a role in your tactics. Good tactics are the safest thing.
Brent
Or lock your door.
Derek
The second he reached for that gun, she was justified to shoot him.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
Yeah.
Derek
The second his two hands came forward and put anywhere near that gun. Based on her size, everything else, she can shoot him.
Justin
But what she should have done with what she ended up doing should have been more useful. Just saying, hey, for all you men that were out there actually doing the. The foot chase. I'm gonna go to 7 11, get you guys some Gatorades. I'll be right back. And you'd have been more useful not lying.
Mike
I think the chat blew.
Derek
I don't like to on people but. But from. I was sent that video like immediately. It just had come out yesterday. What I'm told the agency held onto. It happened in January and they were dreading letting this thing out. So they finally let it out yesterday. I got it right away. I made my little meme put it up. But I got a lot of former TikTok cop get ready with me videos. You can see the fancy nails in the. In the video. Someone who didn't take the job serious and was actually up. This is just what I've been told. Maybe shouldn't have made FTO And Mad Men said let's put her through maybe shouldn't some training issues in the past.
Brent
Allegedly.
Derek
So we. That's where I get the building failed as well. She's her own person. But if she's already showing the inability to be serious about the job, which is a big argument from Dominic Izzo and and the anti female Comptons. If you're not prepared, just like men to be ready for the job, that is your end result and that's what's going to happen.
Justin
This is another great topic to hop back on that we've talked about before which is well, you have a. You have a staffing issue. Would you rather have more cops that at least are out there or less competent cops? And at the end of the day we always end up going back to I'd rather have less people that are more competent because fewer people I want vacation days. Fewer people on that scene would. Would have been better and. And she made the scene worse by being there. The numbers did not help them out. The numbers the weak links think made everything more dangerous for everyone.
Mike
Once you introduced the deadly weapon into the scenario that didn't need to get introduced.
Brent
Six foot tall male.
Derek
Going back to my generation, I take some of the responsibility from my old generation of 23 years of law enforcement. There was a time and guys still say but there was a time when just a female showing up to a call and doing anything, we kind of like made it a big deal like oh so and so's here. She did great.
Justin
Great.
Derek
No, she was below average. But at some point because of the man thing like Dominic Izzo talks about like that, that you want to praise women, you want to pep them up. As a male, you want to make the female feel comfortable. It's a nurturing thing. So it's like we over exaggerated 100 their participation and their ability and then it carried on and it carried on and then they started getting these young little prissy girls making tick tocks into the job and then they thought they.
Justin
Could get on SWAT teams.
Derek
Yeah, I am.
Justin
I mean it's hard on.
Derek
I'm hard on Haley Mirabelli and I say it all the time. There's a reason she promotes being mighty and being a female is somehow okay and makes you sufficient for the job. You as a female are way behind the curve of a male. You have to work harder. Can females be cops? I still believe they can. You have to work 10 times as hard.
Justin
Right.
Derek
And there's only 14 females in law enforcement. But all the videos we're seeing women shooting mirrors, women giving their gun up. It's inherently higher among women that we're seeing these massive failures. Men fail every day. Men are. Men do dumb, for sure, but women are such a small percent. But we're seeing major mistakes from women that you shouldn't be making.
Mike
Do we have that video?
Derek
The problem I have of the cop.
Justin
Shooting the mirror is that, well, we did it.
Brent
Oh, we did it when you weren't here.
Derek
Yeah. That's another just absolute disaster because we.
Brent
Talked about how she went false, false, false, and then she kind of laughed like, I. I. Yeah, it's just a mirror.
Justin
Oh, my God, bro.
Brent
I shot the mirror. Zulu whiskey. The face you make when you shoot your Glock at a paintball match.
Derek
The yellow Glock or the. Or the black?
Justin
Oh, gosh.
Brent
Conrad Healy. 10 bucks. Would you rather be stuck in a nursing home for 24 hours as a young girl surrounded by 100. 100 scantly clad and stimulated Joe Bidens or support and help write Tim Kennedy's name?
Derek
Next book.
Justin
O.
Mike
I'm taking the book.
Brent
Do I have to be a young girl? Can I be me? Fight off The Joe Bidens.
Mike
One, Tyler. 100 Joe Bidens on VI. Get off me.
Derek
Not if he's at the beach. He's like the penguin walking across the beach.
Brent
Rudy Botol. Botello. I don't know where I got that from. Evening, gentlemen. I was searching FRCC and noticed y' all got TK on the LEO blend. Good on y' all for contributing to his resume. Also, would y' all rather have a tree glow or a Negro?
Justin
Oh, my God.
Derek
Gotcha.
Justin
Got it canceled.
Brent
Cancel it, said K. I'm taking a screenshot. I'm taking a screenshot.
Justin
I think you can still say Negro.
Derek
Demonetized Negro league basketball. Negro League baseball.
Justin
You can still say Negro.
Brent
All right, all right, all right. You got me, Rudy.
Derek
Still got him.
Brent
Stay just like that one where that lady, she gets Nick something.
Justin
Happy birthday.
Derek
It's on the.
Brent
You see her face?
Derek
She goes, yeah. She knows.
Mike
She's like, oh, God, there's a wrestler.
Derek
A great wrestling clip, too. Booker T. Back in, like, the 90s.
Brent
Oh.
Derek
Drops the N word right in the middle of a promo. He's like Hulk Hogan. And he's like. He says it. He's like, oh, my God.
Mike
He's like, I'm definitely getting fine.
Derek
And everybody's trying to console him, and he's just walking around the promo. He's like, oh, God.
Brent
The. The guy in the Leo blend is not TK Although I'm sure if you tell him somebody said he looked like tk, he might get a laugh.
Justin
This is an Orlando police officer, actually Britain and Trinidad.
Brent
Did you see that judge that was. Oh, God, these guys are getting crazy with the name. Did you see that? The judge that was arrested for aiding an illegal says she's immune from prosecution because she was acting in her official, official capacity as a judge. Oh, I did not see that.
Justin
So you're saying as long as you're acting in your official capacity as a judge, you can't do anything illegal? I find that hard to believe.
Derek
We had a judge get popped for cocaine last week. Two weeks ago.
Justin
Was. But were they acting.
Derek
Trying to. On the side of the road when you pulled over. And they actually did a search warrant on his house and he was using his bar card to cut the cocaine up under his bar card. I got actual pictures of the search.
Justin
Warrant because they got a tip, they.
Derek
Were following him and they got him dui pulled over with some back and he was like ghettoed out like hat sideways, chains on and everything. Judge judged. Run his mouth. It was Martin County Sheriff's office that got him. Had intel. They end up doing a search warrant at his house, going back. And under his sink was the chopping plate for his cocaine. And had his Florida bar card in there. All. All residued up.
Brent
Whoa.
Derek
County judge elected in charge of glorious drug court.
Justin
He got it from.
Derek
Yeah.
Justin
Pay for that.
Brent
I need that. That video. That's a good reel.
Justin
Yeah. He was just doing his homework. Yeah. Was that. Was that real?
Derek
Yeah.
Brent
I'm trying to live in the field.
Derek
I know that. I know. That guy's cocaine's weak, man.
Brent
Good stuff.
Mike
He only gets 20 days.
Derek
Yeah. Yeah.
Brent
All right, let's check. I think there's one more Instagram Big topic.
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
And then we'll go into the Chauvin. I got some Trump stuff. I'll go up. Down. Sorry. Down, down, down, down, down. This is the. The kid up there. Play that one. Brent, you sent me this one.
Justin
18 year old Trayvon Johnson, the teenager, was shot and killed last night by a homeowner who police say was protecting her property.
Brent
He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trayvon had goals.
Justin
He was a very funny guy. He was very big on education.
Brent
He loved going to school. He loved learning.
Justin
Last night, Miami Dade Police say the D.A. dorsey, Technical College student, burglarized a home south of 79th street near I95 Life, just blocks away from where he lives. You have to Understand?
Brent
You have to look at it from every child's point of view that was raised in the hood.
Justin
How he gonna get his.
Brent
His money to have clothes to go to school?
Justin
That's a good question.
Brent
Got a father, he goes to work and he buys you clothes.
Derek
Yeah.
Brent
I'm just saying fatherless homes are the problem for these crimes.
Derek
I think she's a child.
Brent
I'm not lying.
Mike
Yeah, yeah.
Justin
You can't talk down to the Negroes like that. I know those are the terms you like to use.
Derek
He's just throwing the word around, but.
Justin
How else was he going to get close for school?
Derek
It's. Did you see the graduation video that's going viral like yesterday?
Brent
Oh, my God, the girls.
Derek
The whole place turns into like a disaster. They're throwing money. Dudes are making like during graduation. That's what I guess it's called. Yeah, the comment section is amazing.
Justin
But yeah, when I see videos like.
Brent
The doctors.
Justin
That'S how you know there's still a little glimmer, hope for society. When the comment section is still. Yeah, just rag.
Mike
My favorite social media joke is the. The. The smoke alarm detector stuff. I was on a call. I was on a call the other day. It was domestic. And I'm upstairs with the wife, talking to her, getting her side of the story, and she's telling me about how he's such a good provider for this family and why is she saying it? It goes beep. And I go. And I pointed up, I'm like, I should pull my body cam video. I'm like, I pointed up and I go, but he can't provide a 9 volt battery. She just kind of looks at me, she's like, he gonna fix that.
Justin
He's gonna fix that.
Mike
And I'm like, okay, he gonna fix that.
Justin
Okay. I'm like, okay, okay. Trading with Tampa SWAT, there was some Section 8 housing they're just about to tear down. So we were going over there and using it as the, as. As the. As the venue. And I was like, you guys, you guys have been here before when people were living here, right? Like, oh, yeah, we. We've hit that house. We've hit that house. We've hit that house. And as soon as I walked in to set up the training, the smoke alarms went off. I look next to the. The. The head training guy. I was like, nice. Way to make it realistic.
Mike
Very realistic.
Derek
I was a courtesy officer in a Section 8 department and you could hear it all night long. That was like eight units. The next.
Brent
Did they pay?
Derek
Was free I got free rent and all I had to do is like do a, a patrol every night. But it was.
Justin
Doesn't that annoy you at night to hear that loud ass?
Derek
It was bad.
Brent
Did you wake up to your patrol car on bricks?
Mike
What's his name?
Derek
I got keyed a couple times. I had stuff thrown at my car, thrown in my door. But the one guy on the Tony.
Mike
Hinchley show, he said, that's cricket. It's a cricket. I heard it's cricket outside. And they're like, they're like, no, it's not.
Brent
But yeah, what, what you. I mean, in all reality, the video clip we just watched, my opinion is that obviously they're trying to make excuses for that culture, but the culture is. There's no fathers.
Justin
Yeah, yeah, that, that is. And this is, this is really what I hate. I truly hate this. That guy. And that, that culture, I'm just. That culture, race, regardless, that culture, right, is absolutely toxic. And they will look to you and you and you and all you guys did this job and say, how are you going to do your better to work around that? You shouldn't have to work around that. The problem has never really been law enforcement. You can jump down my throat all you want with that. The majority of the problem has not been law enforcement. The majority of the problem has been that culture. And show me anyone, any city leader that has stood up and said, hey, we need to fix this. They're not, they're not coming after us with because we don't have warrants. They're not coming after us because we're not running from. They don't come after us because we're not committing crimes. Let's just, let's just try this crazy, crazy experiment and let's just stop committing crimes. So I don't know for just a couple months and see what happens. But no, they sit there and they blame you for bad policing.
Derek
There's so much wild stuff that goes on to and that you don't realize. Like I remember going to calls where like seven year old grandmothers have like eight grandkids dumped at their house. And I'm like, where's the moms? They're like, we haven't seen the mom in like five days.
Brent
Yeah.
Derek
And they're like four different moms with like eight grandkids and one 80 year old lady trying to take care of.
Brent
Like six, seven kids.
Derek
And you're like, and there's like one year old kids running outside in diapers, the ones down the road. And you're like, what do you do for that? And then you go, make an arrest for, like, child ab. And then you're the dcf.
Brent
DCF looks at it and goes, there's food in the fridge.
Derek
Hedge. Yeah.
Brent
There's a roof over their head.
Derek
Yep.
Justin
I didn't understand this until, of all people, Drew made me think about this a little differently. I'm like, I thought for a second, like, grandparents raising kids might. Might be a good thing. Like, they have so much experience. They've already raised kids. They have 40, 50 years of experience under their belt. They usually have a little bit more money. Why is it such a problem? And. And Drew's like, as a youth pastor, had to deal with kids that had grandparents raising them. It's like. Like, because they didn't raise kids good the first time.
Mike
Yep.
Justin
How are they so they're not going to raise kids well the second time? They already failed once as a parent. That's why they're raising their grandkids.
Mike
Yeah.
Justin
It was like a light bulb moment. I was like, oh, my gosh.
Mike
A lot. I told grandparents just the other day, I had to go, because they have a kid who's. I think he was nine years old. They adopted him. It was their daughter's kid adopted him. He's definitely some version of a crack baby. He's on a spectrum of some sort, but he's. And he's a hellion. He's. He's pulling the. The water out of the washing machine, the water pipe, and it's like, she's like $2,000 in damage in this apartment. Our landlord's on our ass and all this stuff. And they're like. And we're both pastors and all this. And he. The. The man's like, severely overweight and all this stuff. And they're both like, in their 60s. And I'm like. And I'm like, first off, I don't know what you guys want me to do about this. The kid is sitting here perfectly fine. He's obviously a psychopath because he's just I him. And I go, what do you have to say about yourself? And he looks over his shoulder, and he just kind of smiles and talks a little bit of talk. So he's a psycho at nine years old. But I'm like, he's not committing any crimes right here, guys. There's nothing I can do for you. And I can't turning him off and.
Brent
Turning him back on again.
Mike
I go, what do you guys do to punch?
Derek
Use a broom. Like a broom or something. Like that.
Mike
So they were just telling me and I go, you're out of your element. You guys are out of your element. You're 60 years old. Told you. Explained to me that there's another road that you can go down where you can give him back. And they put him in some sort of a facility. You're trying to save him. I can't. I can't help you save him. Like you have.
Derek
The damage. The damage being done is worse than maybe going back. It sucks to see, like DCF take a kid, but. Yeah, when it's apparently more dangerous to be at home. Maybe that's a weird one. Home could be anywhere. But, yeah, I mean, and he might.
Mike
You know, hurt them someday. But I can't foresee the future either. So I can't. I still can't do anything to this kid. So I just told him I'm out.
Brent
Guys, Charlie Elliott said check out my messages in the anti air dams under C.J.
Justin
Elliott.
Brent
I saw it. And we are going to cover that. It's our last video. Check out Clark County, Washington Sheriff Department body cam, Ridgefield incident. This was new today. Drunk went for the gun, got stabbed. Oh, so maybe they're talking about a cop that used an edged weapon.
Mike
Oh, okay. So the drunk got stabbed.
Derek
That's a new thing. Coming, coming.
Brent
Just saw this. Not a super chat, but someone in the comments. Strike nine. Placebo. I don't know how to say that.
Mike
Placebo.
Brent
Just quit my job, walked out before lunch to catch the show currently watching in the parking lot in my car. Hell of an ad. To jump.
Derek
Beautiful.
Mike
To jump.
Brent
To jump in.
Mike
Oh, I was gonna say. I was gonna say, wait a minute. I used to be a hostage negotiator. Crisis negotiation shooter. Don't do it, brother.
Justin
I can promise you this. Life sucks right now. And you're in a bad way, in a bad position. You walked away from that, probably without a good safety net. You're like, I'll figure it out.
Derek
That's a bad idea.
Justin
You that. And that is a bad idea, to be honest with you.
Derek
But you did it.
Justin
So we can't go back on this. How you act and how you deal with this right now will decide whether you come out on the other side. Okay? You deal with it, right? You'll look back on this and you'll be glad you did it.
Brent
Yeah.
Mike
And welcome to the squad cast.
Justin
Yeah. Yep. Thanks for listening.
Derek
Diving in.
Mike
It's for the boys.
Brent
What?
Derek
You diving into the topic.
Brent
What? Oh, we got one more video. It's the. It's the jig. Carried them out like a jan sport.
Derek
Oh, this is great.
Brent
All right, here we go. Yeah. Oh, we got two more, but yeah, that one with the doorway cop.
Mike
Bill's gonna have to start covering some of the AC bills because he's on the show so much.
Derek
Oh, no, I didn't buy the pizza.
Mike
I added in.
Derek
I tried to buy the pizza.
Justin
This starts out so, like, just, hey, Tim, we got sublime. Like, like what's, what's cool about this? They're just walking out. I still didn't realize what was going on right now.
Brent
Carried her like a Jane Sports.
Derek
Catch me outside. How about that?
Mike
She's £85.
Brent
He's carrying her like a book bag.
Derek
Hey, throw uniform on her, man. Put her on, Put her on the job, man.
Brent
That's good.
Mike
She be giving guns?
Justin
No, there were, there were female cops on scene. None of them carried her out like that. And no, none of those female cops were going to carry a dude out like that. It just, we can go just, just point after point after point. What is going on? Like, why? Why?
Derek
I don't know why we can't say it. I, I, I, I agree with you. We said it, we say it all the time. A normal female cop cannot arrest. Arrest me, absolutely. If I do not want to go.
Brent
To jail, I'll stand firm. A goddamn purple belt or a blue belt, whichever one's better, cannot arrest you because you're just gonna have that raw rage, that raw power, that raw testosterone where, I mean, if you, but there's.
Derek
The argument goes back, there's men that absolutely are not going to be able to arrest me. But by inherently, there's gonna be more men that can than women. But I, I, I'm having a tough time with it. I'm having a tough time with it.
Justin
The let's go to this. Let's, let's, let's level the playing field a little bit. Yes. There are times, you guys, I don't pretend that I was in the job. There are times you'll be by yourself and have to go hands on. It sucks. And it, I'm sure that sucks, but if you have a partner and the partner's always coming at some point, can, can two dudes take you?
Derek
Yes.
Justin
Yes. Two guys are going to take you. Can two chicks make you go to jail?
Derek
Probably not.
Justin
I still don't think two chicks make you go to jail if you don't want to.
Derek
Probably. Probably not.
Brent
Your wife's gonna hit you with a strap on an eyebrow.
Derek
She is very much. She's very much on the same side as that. And it's a very un. And a lot of comments and stuff in these posts of women that are in that very elite category, which there are. Are sick and tired of females making them look bad. And there are some women that can get down and do the job, but by statistics, it's not working. That's always fun working.
Justin
When we talk to a, like a. A female, a single female or a female whose husband is not a police officer, they, they think they can do anything that, that they need to do. Generally speaking. I've had a tiptoe around the conversation before only to find out if they're married to another cop, even the female cop. And that really should be like, nah, I, I really.
Derek
I'm gonna throw that. I'm gonna throw a curve at you. The girl in the video getting her gun taken is married to a cop.
Justin
Oh. Something tells me if we got a chance to interview her, she.
Derek
I thought about, I thought about reaching out.
Justin
I thought about be very humble.
Derek
Right now she wants to give her side of what happened.
Brent
Hey, well, we got. When the guy filmed and go. You may carry it around like a backpack.
Justin
I sure did.
Brent
We got one more video. While we'll watch the video. We'll talk about it after. While we're talking about it, can you look up on YouTube the Clark County, Washington Ridgefield incident.
Justin
But do it. Jamie.
Brent
Would they call team you Jamie? Oh, no, that's not it. Don't worry about. That's not it. That, that's totally different.
Derek
Real quick. There is a comment in there and it's true. The initial male officer failed to get that guy under control. He went hands on.
Brent
You can go back to us.
Derek
And he got. Got away from him. So there's a little argument in there. The male officer that's chasing that ends up shooting him initially had his hands on that guy and did not get him in custody. And he broke free and ran away from that guy.
Brent
Which is.
Justin
But it's not. But it's not. But it's not. Apples. Apples.
Derek
It's not. It's not. But I think some of the comments are saying like he had an opportunity to end it by getting.
Mike
And I think Brennan from BJJ cops would offer him a free class.
Derek
Correct. Because obviously his tactics were terrible and he didn't do anything great. But there was a male could have had a chance to get him in.
Justin
Custody early on and didn't lose his weapon.
Derek
No, he did not.
Justin
Okay.
Derek
He got a free shoot. He got a Free vacation worked out.
Justin
For him in the end.
Derek
Yeah, he got a free vacation.
Justin
Got a conus kill out of it.
Derek
Nobody even knows. Nobody even knows. Nobody's talking about him. Nobody's knows his name. Nobody's worried about him. 886 or 889 is his ID number. I think somebody wrote, Boy, if 89 didn't show up, everything would have been.
Brent
You know what got stolen in Orlando today? Oh, you hear about it?
Justin
No, no.
Brent
A Veterans affairs police car. So it was being decommissioned and it was being. It got dropped off at wherever it is. They take off all the decals and lights. The guy who dropped it off left the keys in it and parked it like. Like on the sidewalk outside. And some guy that was jiggling door knobs goes, oh, it's a whole police car took it. So now there's a Veterans affairs police car roaming around Orlando somewhere.
Mike
And just like normal, nobody's going to give it any respect anyways.
Derek
Nobody can chase it over here. They don't chase him over here either. So no chase. No chase.
Mike
No one slows down for it.
Justin
No one.
Brent
I'm behind that stolen car. Turn around.
Justin
I see him in the comment section, the Flamingo Tactical. Just everyone knows he's got a shooting competition Sunday going on this Sunday. And I'll be out there. Yeah, out there hucking cigars and smoking with the boys. I'll be out there in Miami with Flamingo Tactical.
Brent
You flying or driving?
Justin
Driving.
Brent
Driving.
Justin
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Mike
It's down to Homestead.
Justin
Yeah, Miami's. Yeah, it's in Homestead, actually. Yeah. Yeah. That area is about my limit for driving.
Mike
Homestead is pretty freaking far. I mean, from me.
Brent
All right, you found that video, Timu. Jamie. He's fucking premium. Jamie. We want to get back to this morning's breaking news in Ridgefield. The Clark County Sheriff's Office says one of its deputies stabbed and killed a driver who was suspected of driving under the influence. It happened after they took the driver to a Washington State Patrol facility to breathalyze them.
Justin
Thomas Schulz joins us live in Ridgeville.
Brent
Thomas, what else do we know here?
Mike
Well, guys, we've been on scene for a couple.
Brent
I don't know if they're going to show the body.
Mike
Show you a look at what it's.
Brent
Looking like right now.
Justin
Still about a dozen.
Brent
Office or Fast forward, See if.
Justin
Yeah, fast forward through it first.
Brent
No, that's just give. Give it to us. Give it to us.
Justin
News.
Brent
Go back.
Mike
Here's one.
Brent
You might have to put in body.
Mike
Cam or BWC Brits, Cam, Camaro, $15. Hey, I don't know if y' all cover, but Biden accidentally doxing the boys with that pick.
Justin
I know.
Mike
Docs.
Brent
There you go. That'll be it right there. We'll go back to it. Can you go full screen?
Justin
Oh, no, giant screen.
Brent
Oh, there you go. Oh, man.
Mike
I'm below J.
Brent
Can you. I'm telling you, can you fast forward this part?
Derek
Can you get us to something we can walk through?
Mike
Can you get us past the six minute disclaimer?
Justin
Okay, so what's going on?
Brent
I was just trying to calm him down.
Justin
Okay. And make him not leave because he was trying to run.
Brent
Sorry. Clearly I've been drinking.
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
And okay, I ran and see these cars battle, man. This guy. No, I do not.
Derek
But this guy, until it turns bad. I've seen it.
Mike
I wouldn't go that far.
Brent
You do not need medical attention, Correct? I do not.
Justin
Well, for diabetes, he does, but.
Brent
Yeah, he's not smart enough driver. Okay, and like I said, like, over.
Mike
How much of you at the gin tonight?
Justin
Two beers.
Brent
More than 90.
Justin
Look at that.
Brent
Anne, answer. What do you say? More than.
Justin
More than I need to.
Derek
Is that what happened?
Brent
No. All right, let's see if we can tactically fast forward. Somebody else is involved because this is a true breakdown. They're giving us the whole.
Justin
Five.
Brent
Almost 73. All right, they're gonna give us multiple angles, so.
Justin
Yeah, right there.
Derek
No, drop it.
Brent
That.
Mike
She might need two.
Justin
All right, well, he's in.
Brent
Well, what happened?
Justin
All right, now, he transported him.
Mike
Okay.
Brent
Oh, okay. Okay, cuz.
Justin
Yeah, I was about to say I thought it happened at the. At the breathalyzer.
Brent
Then they stab him.
Justin
Keep.
Mike
Keep going. If you cooperative with me and your.
Justin
Co, we got it in the podcast cast tonight.
Mike
You're in San Ha the whole time.
Justin
You understand?
Mike
Got places.
Brent
There you go.
Justin
There you go. He's on it. He's on it.
Derek
Yes.
Justin
You're getting there.
Brent
Oh, right there.
Mike
Yeah. Turn around.
Justin
Face away from me right now. Oh, sure. What is your plan, old man 73?
Brent
I'm fighting with one. He's going for his gun.
Derek
Oh, don't do that, Mark.
Brent
You're gonna get shot.
Mike
Could be a different policy.
Brent
Yeah, that's what I want. Oh, okay. One of them.
Mike
Oh, it's a. It was a common history.
Brent
That old man is getting the best of you. Wait for me, Mark.
Justin
No, on bj and on bjj, you want to be on. On your butt. You want to be on the ground, right?
Mike
That's what he's going for?
Brent
Oh, his thing got deactivated. Oh, man, he got a good jugular.
Mike
Did some pig sticking.
Justin
Oh, yeah, yeah. All right. I, I, I'm not Monday morning quarterbacking this way. What he did is what he did. But I'm, and I'm not much for de escalation. I'm just gonna throw this one out there. Like you really could have just, just, just, just stiff armed that guy and, and waited like you if, like, I really don't see how that old man, like completely overpowers you complacency. He, he got, he got, he got on his gun for a little bit. He got him away. But once you get someone away from you, once you lock in like you're, you're at arm's distance, like you, you can hold that didn't seem, that guy.
Mike
Didn'T seem actively strong enough to overpower him.
Derek
Drunk, belligerent.
Justin
I'm just more for argument's sake than saying that's what I think that he should have, I think what he should have done. But it's, it's, it's an option. I feel like if an old man, if you wanted to keep an old man away from you, I feel like you could, but apparently not that old man. He's got that old man strength. I mean, that's, that's a term for a reason. I don't know.
Brent
That goes to show, that goes to show that a man also, I don't want to say can't do the job, but.
Derek
Well, he did, but he did. He finished it.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
Help, help, help. Didn't come.
Derek
No fast enough stuff.
Justin
And he still got it done. He was prepared.
Brent
I, I think that when you're on a traffic stop, you're on a heightened sense of, you know, alert, like you're ready for some street like that. You're sitting in the DUI room, like monotone air conditioning, like, just waiting on the next step. And that guy just goes, you know what it, and he starts going for your gun. You're probably like, you know, but he.
Justin
He had that moment when he stood up and he stood up with him and squared up to him. So he kind of was prepared in that moment and was like, what do you call it? Mark. What he keeps calling him Mark. Don't do it. Yeah. And I was like, mark, you know, and, and so it's not like he had the jump on him like they, they squared up and, and he started pushing him away. I don't think he was prepared for it to, for that old Man. To go for his.
Mike
He didn't treat him as much of a threat as he turned into.
Brent
Yeah, maybe he didn't think. Maybe he didn't want a two nil man up. And then he went for the gun and that's when it got serious.
Justin
Yeah. I still somewhat agree with you that. That even though he squared up to him, he was ready because of his age. I don't think he was fully ready. Like. Like you were talking about. More like an unknown situation of a traffic stop.
Mike
Yeah. Because you watch these videos of like the. The Asian guy that got flipped and turned on his head, you know?
Derek
Yeah, that old guy in that one video.
Mike
Oh, you know, but, you know, so it's like, oh, man, how could they treat an old man like this? And it's like, well, put his hands.
Justin
On me.
Mike
You know, I mean, what do we want? You want to flip and turn his head or do we want to, you know, feel us up for a little while until we finally just.
Brent
You don't like optics of that mic.
Derek
But the old man, the. The. The deputy Mike over here, Asian dude is not really doing anything. This guy's trying to get his gun.
Justin
He was still Wong. All right, I'mma head out.
Mike
Back, man. Union, what's up? $20. Kent, Skyler and the rest of the gang. I think that's us and Rooster by Allison Chains. 20 bucks.
Brent
We're sitting at Volbeat for 55 minutes.
Derek
You haven't even talked about Chauvin man.
Brent
Oh, let's do it. Last couple minutes. Clearly none of us know much about how Trump. But I saw a video of Trump putting a kebab to it.
Derek
Own it.
Justin
Just own it.
Brent
Oh, yeah.
Justin
Yeah. So I see this topic has resubmerged.
Derek
And I still stand in my position. But.
Justin
But here's some things and. And if. And they're right. Like points you brought up. So it's. It was a state case. Yeah. The feds can't necessarily get involved, but if Trump wanted to apply leverage, he could. He could. He could probably move the ball.
Derek
I'm sure he could.
Justin
Yeah. Yeah. But.
Derek
Well, I saw today that they were briefed like the. The State waltz and all that were briefed on the potential of it happening and getting prepared for what could happen from it.
Justin
I think we talked about this on. On the podcast, Tyler, and you know, our podcast on it changed my mind. I was. I was wrong. I was still like. I mean, it could have a lot of that had to do with George Floyd, and he was. All he had to do was comply but you know, I look like it looked like there was blame to go around. And I was like, I understand after our podcast past like people and I say like unapologetically, there is an innocent cop in jail right now who should not be there. Tell me I'm wrong.
Derek
I'm telling me. I'm not completely sold on that. Tell me. And here's where I'm gonna make murder one charges.
Justin
Did you watch the podcast?
Derek
Yes.
Justin
Do you feel like you're up to date on it?
Derek
Yes.
Justin
Because I was not. Okay.
Derek
I've. I look at what happened with that female losing her gun. Derek Chauvin knee is the equivalent of that gun. He let a tactic and a tool that he was taught go too far.
Brent
But he didn't do it. His knee on his neck didn't kill him.
Justin
You can't hold on, can't say it didn't.
Derek
Deputy Chief Dilks, you cannot, you cannot say like I said in the live up in Jersey that for maybe it didn't. But staying there the, the nine minutes and not checking or starting life saving procedures is negligent. Do I think he killed him? That's debatable. Was his negligence a factor into something happening? Why would you not check the pulse breathing of a person not moving underneath you for that length of time? So that is my. I won't debate you on whether or not he killed him. I will say that I think he.
Justin
Was negligent coming from in something he.
Derek
Did, which is not checking on him for an elongated time.
Mike
Time.
Derek
That's my stance.
Justin
I'll give you that. I'll give you that.
Derek
Because.
Justin
I'll give you that.
Derek
If I, if, if I went down on the floor right now passed out and you guys just looked at me for the next 10 minutes.
Justin
My hard stance is, is he is not guilty of murder. I agree with you.
Derek
I agree with you.
Justin
So what should he be charged with?
Derek
I think that it goes down to that manslaughter violation, which is the negligence of his actions led or contributed to something. And that could be as simple as not doing cpr. Like, hey, the dude's fucked up. I'm just gonna let him sit there and die.
Brent
Like if I was on a call and I didn't give somebody cpr, I.
Derek
Think it falls into that. Does it now? It looks horrible because of what he was actually doing. Do I think he choked him with his knee? Absolutely not. Do I think, did he contribute or negligence contribute to George Floyd's death from him? I think it did. And that could be as simple as not performing life saving measures on a non moving, non breathing person for multiple minutes.
Justin
Maybe.
Derek
Should he be in jail? No, because what's jail for maybe rehabilitation.
Justin
Maybe he thought he was finally compliant.
Derek
Jail to me is rehabilitation. And do I think Derek Chauvin is going to go down in the hood and choke anybody else with his knee? I think he's never going to do that.
Brent
Good job, Derek. We're proud of you, Derek.
Justin
Yeah, George? I would, I would not like to call it choking him with his knee. I would like to call it what is called, which is the maximum restraint technique, which is what he was trained to do. I agree 100% in policy.
Derek
100%.
Justin
And, and we'll all agree as long as you're saying loudly, I can't breathe every five seconds.
Brent
You can breathe.
Justin
You can breathe.
Derek
But then he didn't for about nine minutes. That's my only problem.
Mike
About nine minutes.
Derek
I don't think he killed him. I don't think he committed murder by any means, but I think he was negligent.
Justin
Let's, let's walk down this road then helping him and I think you just kind of touched on it. But then does he deserve jail time over negligence that turns into a homicide?
Derek
No, that's where I kind of walk because, because what jail is for is rehabilitation. Okay. And he's, I don't think he's going to go do that again. Whereas a drug dealer or a murderer, a real murderer needs to be really rehabilitated from that behavior. I don't know. They needed to go to jail.
Justin
You're talking about it more from like a, like from a, a morality. I don't know if morality is the word I want to use. I'm talking from a legal standpoint. I don't know if that changes like the question or how you answered it.
Derek
I think legally. Do you think he should have got a different trial? I think the, I think the murder charge to have been completely gone because I don't think he intentionally caused the act. He should have been tried for manslaughter and those factors of what manslaughter is.
Justin
Okay.
Derek
And those instructions should have been brought separate from a murder charge.
Justin
So. So, yes. All right, so to, to dig down and be a little more clear. An innocent man is in jail because they overreached on a murder charge and should have never gotten to a murder charge. It should have, it should have gotten innocent of murder.
Derek
Correct.
Justin
And he should be free. Had they, had they tried something more like that and whatever the punishment was, it'd take a little of manslaughter.
Derek
He's probably served enough time at this point that for a third degree, whatever that charge is for negligence. He's done his time.
Justin
He got shanked in prison, too.
Brent
Yeah. Quick announcement. Crazy announcements. The boys at Cloud Defensive just said the first five people to use anti hero 40@clouddefensive.com gets 40 off.
Justin
About to be the first four.
Brent
You go to Cloud Defensive right now. Shut it down or leave the podcast up. Use Anti Hero 40. First five people get it.
Derek
Before you start the ending, can I shout out real quick? I did the Sal Oldradi case out of Jersey.
Brent
Yep.
Derek
I was able to get Andrea and Eddie Gallagher involved. And the Pipe Hitter foundation is actually helping Sal and his family.
Justin
Nice.
Derek
Good. He applied for the grant. They're in the process of getting that pushed through and they're going to start providing support and a place to donate as soon as I get that link and where you can donate to help Sal, I will post it. But I spoke to Eddie today and they are in the process of helping that family. For those that don't know, he was indicted up in Jersey for what is absolutely a clean shoot. And Eddie Gallagher and Andrea are great and they're helping out.
Justin
I know we got a few. Just, just Reader's Digest. Explain to people what happened.
Derek
Just real quick. So he gets a call with no cat notes and no other information that a two armed subjects are breaking in a house house and doing a burglary. They get to the scene. No information on the homeowner's description, no description on the suspect. As they pull up, his first partner pulls up, is confronted with a man with a gun, speeds off and yells, he's got a gun. Sal jumps out of his car. You can see in body cam the guy is raising the gun. All the information he has is two guys are breaking into a house armed. He fires and shoots and kills him. It ends up being the homeowner, which is very unfortunate. But he had talked about suicide by cop. He was inebriated on methamphetamine and alcohol and he had talked about killing himself. It got to the point that the. The victim's girlfriend actually testified for the police and said he. He was in this condition, wanted to die.
Brent
Did she change her?
Derek
He worked 20 months. Cleared, promoted officer of the year. He is driving along.
Justin
That's where the story really gets crazy.
Derek
A call that says you have two hours to turn yourself in to the jail. You've been indicted for murder. Had it. Got married, had a kid living Any. And that's a mental health issue. That call is never going to get by you. That you killed a homeowner.
Justin
That shouldn't be any more by the book. We've. We've done two videos now of homeowners showing up to the door with a gun.
Derek
Yes.
Justin
Which we talk about that. That's got to be a cop's worst nightmare. I mean, it's, it's, it's legal. It's a horrible idea. But you're talking about a guy who's outside in his yard blatantly walking up to police officers and raising his own body cam.
Derek
He brings the gun up.
Justin
Right. What other option do you expect that cop to do?
Derek
He did everything he was trained to do. He saved other people. He saved his fellow officers. He is a good dude. He has a great family. Dad is a 36 year SWAT operator out of the city of Philadelphia. Law enforcement family. And he did nothing wrong. And a Trump. Anti Trump Cory Booker supporting attorney general came in and just started rolodexing all the cop shootings and he gets indicted 20 months later. It is the worst one I've seen yet.
Brent
Yeah.
Mike
That's crazy. He didn't even know that that was coming down the pipe.
Derek
No idea.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
He's driving along one day, minding his business. Back to work, living and, you know.
Justin
Doing what he's doing.
Derek
And you know, he gets into some of the stuff me and Tyler talk about is the thin blue line. You don't hear from anybody. Nobody calls him.
Brent
Yeah.
Derek
You know, nobody checks his friends.
Brent
His peers got told they couldn't contact him. You. You can't tell me a brother.
Justin
That's right.
Brent
You cannot tell me.
Derek
You can kiss my ass.
Brent
Yeah, maybe not talk about the case. Okay.
Derek
Yeah.
Brent
Because I don't want to get him.
Derek
I'm gonna come sit at your table. We're gonna break bread. We're gonna have a beer. We're gonna see how you're doing. I don't care. I don't care. I'd quit my job before I wouldn't go see him. And that's for sure. It's unfortunate.
Brent
Go to the. The Instagram DMS. Okay.
Mike
Chris Leadsma with $50 for Hank the third. Three shades of black.
Brent
So we're tied at 50.
Derek
But didn't I already have money?
Justin
Yeah, but doesn't Hank already have money? I thought it was Hank Jr. No, it was. It was. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brent
Okay.
Justin
Yeah.
Brent
All right, so here's this.
Justin
I'll get it set up. Keep going.
Mike
I'll get it Set up.
Justin
Your allies are calling on you to pardon Derek Chauvin.
Derek
Are you concerned, considering pardoning Derek? No.
Brent
I haven't even heard about it. No, Mr. President. That's it.
Justin
I haven't heard that.
Brent
That's it. That's the president saying he has no idea what the hell anybody.
Justin
Sarah. Code is what we are.
Brent
Will Darren Chauvin get parted.
Mike
Darren doesn't sound Derek. He said will Darren.
Derek
His first meal is going to be kebabs when he gets out.
Mike
Brought to you by the anti hero body delivered by a white guy.
Justin
If I can't wait actually to have Sal down here and have him on the podcast.
Derek
Yeah, he's got to wait. He's in the court process. They're trying to attack his expert witness. They're just giving him the rigmarole, man. It's terrible. But he's staying strong and he's very motivated. His family is great. He's got great support system. He thanks all of you as well. He thanks all of you. I talked to him almost every day.
Brent
Dude, his parents fight in a good fight. Yes.
Derek
Yeah, he's a great.
Justin
Could ask for.
Brent
They can't. They can't. Like Eddie's wife. Andrea fought his battle for him. I mean, he did what he could. He's in a jail cell.
Derek
That's right. You know, the agency actually supports him, which is good.
Brent
Yeah. That is.
Derek
They just can't pay him because of the statute that it's a murder charge. They're not allowed to pay him. But they brought him back. They agree it's not a bad shoot. But if he gets.
Justin
If he gets cleared for with this, will they have to back pay him?
Brent
Them?
Derek
I don't know.
Justin
I hope so.
Mike
Yeah.
Derek
The other good news is that the governor election is in November and they're hoping that the Democrat is out and the Republican takes over and comes in with some sense.
Justin
All right.
Derek
And says this is not something we should be doing to cops.
Mike
But, oh, yeah, I hope Jersey's got enough problems.
Brent
All right, we got. We got Hang 3.
Justin
Yeah. Load it up. Ready to go.
Brent
Oh, another 10 for three shades of black. That's that. You win.
Justin
Yes.
Brent
All right, guys, thanks for hanging out with us. It's another Thursday night squad cast for the boys. We'll see you next Thursday.
Mike
What's up, Jerry? Worms.
Brent
Yeah, check out everybody's podcast. You got Cotteville locked up with Cotteville, Donut Shop podcast, Counterculture Inc. Podcast, and of course, yours truly, the anti hero podcast.
Justin
All right, Dr. Regini, good to see you. Back.
Brent
Is that a woman?
Justin
Sean Brent, do you think you can convince your former teammate Xavier Lindoff to come on the show? I bet I can. Xavier was. Was a great, great teammate. I'll see if he's in the States. Last time I heard, he was in Germany, I think, or Europe somewhere. But I'll reach out to him. Would love to have him on the show. The 2A boys, as always. And Magnet.
Brent
Why is he not here?
Justin
Magnet, why aren't you here?
Mike
Where is Magnet? I'm even here.
Derek
I know.
Justin
We got a. We got a camera just for you, and you're not even here.
Mike
Backman Union says maybe we should get a Pink Floyd song. No pun intended.
Justin
That's. That's not a bad idea. We should do squad cast shirts. Yeah.
Mike
Why not make more merch for the boys. Can it be a black shirt, Tyler?
Justin
Tyler, can it be a black shirt?
Brent
It can definitely be a black shirt.
Mike
Okay, good.
Derek
I want to make sure that it's a black shirt. The tape muscle shirt, too.
Justin
Broken tank shirt.
Brent
So awesome.
Derek
I broke Tate Mountain.
Justin
That tape a bad idea. Magnet. I'm watching Max. Magnet's been watching my dog for a couple weeks now. I owe him a big time for that. Oh, and we can make that a tank top. Maybe. That's the tank top. Yeah. And do a tank top episode. All right. I like that idea. We do need a tank top squad cast. Write it down.
Mike
Copville fought off the comment section for this show.
Derek
I always do. I'm abused here at. At home.
Mike
It's.
Derek
It's just same environment.
Mike
He's used to it.
Justin
Mark S. Brent, your EDC pistol. You messing with me? You know, ever watch. Did you watch this show? You have not watched any shows.
Derek
A Sega.
Mike
Mark's first episode. First time, long time.
Justin
Glock 19 EDC. It's gonna upset some people because I'm so pro Glock. I do own a staccato and I do like taking that thing to the range, but it's not my edc.
Derek
It's not my edc.
Justin
That's my. It's my range beauty. And I actually don't take to the range that much because when I. I said I don't shoot a lot, when I do, I still enjoy out shooting people. I never want people to look over and be like, oh, it's because it's staccato. So I still shoot with the Glock mainly because of that reason.
Derek
Oh.
Mike
Cop Bill's headed off to do his legs work on his legs.
Justin
He brushed Bulgarians. He brushed that right off.
Derek
I'm shaving for next week. What are we talking about going to be.
Justin
They're going to be tight. Flamingo Tactical.
Derek
Bring it Sunday.
Justin
I'm in between houses. I don't know if I'm going to the. To the other house where.
Mike
Where.
Justin
Where the guns are. I'm moving in. I'm moving in. I'm moving into a new place. Half into an old place, gone all the time. I feel like I'm never going to get settled in this place for, like, two months. Like, when I come back, this, like, eight packages at the door. I was just. I was just happy to get my bedroom set delivered today, so I actually have a bed to sleep on tonight.
Brent
Oh, you did?
Justin
It's tough times. Yeah.
Brent
Nice.
Justin
Yeah. Yeah. It's the only. It's the only piece of furniture that I have in the whole house is. Is my bed. And it's bachelor living at its. At its finest.
Derek
Peace out, y' all.
Brent
Got an air mattress on the floor.
Justin
That was if it didn't show up today. That was the bachelor backup plan. It sure was.
Mike
From ghostbed.
Brent
From ghostbed.
Justin
All right, guys, thanks so much for tuning in on another great Thursday. It was indeed for the boys yet again.
Brent
Yeah.
Justin
See you guys next Thursday.
