Brent
Welcome back to another Thursday night squad cast. Thursday night is for the boys. We got a hell of a show. We got a packed house. We lost two icons this week, and there's some other Tim Kennedy stuff going on. Stick around, hang out. It's gonna be a great night.
Tyler
Let's. Sam.
Brent
Hey. Welcome back. We switched up. We did switch up the thumbnail this week. Yeah, Today.
Tyler
Just today.
Brent
Just today we switched up the thumbnail.
Tyler
What a crazy week. I've been crying all day. I just been listening to Mama, I'm coming Home on repeat and just crying like a baby, like, I don't know. I don't want to talk about it.
Don
But I'm sure we will.
Tyler
We might talk about it. I guess. I guess I shouldn't have showed up here if we don't want to talk about it.
Brent
We just got done wrapping up a very important episode, but I don't think we've told anybody what it's about. So you guys can just guess or wait until Monday or join our patreon. Our patreon knows.
Tyler
What a wild, wild week. Ozzy Osbourne dies. The guy just did his last concert. Super glad he got that concert out of. Out of the way. Yeah. In a weird way like that. That is cool that he got to do that right before he died. And I thought that would be that. I mean, that's a crazy enough week, right? Like, Ozzy Osbourne, just an absolute rock legend, guys. And on the way here, the podcast studio today, I get a text from Devin. It's like, Hulk Hogan just died. I'm like, no, no, Hulk can't die. In the same week Ozzy dies. My heart can only take so much. And I had to. I was like, yeah, he did. That's crazy to me.
Brent
Yeah. I mean. And Hulk Hogan kind of came out of left field, though.
Tyler
Yeah. Yeah.
Brent
I never would have guessed he had health problems. Yeah.
Tyler
Ozzy wasn't as crazy. I think it has to do with. With the couch, actually, because as soon as he moved the. You don't have your headphones on, but it's good now. Yeah. The Aussie wasn't that big of a surprise. Like, it really, really wasn't. Like, still, it felt like a little too soon, but. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was kind of on borrowed time as it was. But for Hulk out of left field.
Don
Well, it wasn't on a radar.
Tyler
It wasn't on the radar. Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't on the one on the radar.
Brent
He's had health problems or he's had heart problems.
Tyler
He's had back problems. He's had, like, a couple, like, different problems.
Brent
Sober when he was 60.
Tyler
Nerd.
Brent
I mean, like.
Don
I mean, when you make a living out of, you know, getting the beat.
Tyler
Out of you, I guess fake cardiac arrest was. Was the cause of death.
Brent
I didn't hear Ozzy.
Tyler
Oh, he was in a coma? No, for Hulk.
Brent
He was in a coma? Yeah, he was in a coma.
Tyler
For how long?
Drew
Who? Last two weeks?
Tyler
Yeah, for the last two weeks.
Drew
They said it was heart failure.
Brent
We should be able to know about his medicine.
Tyler
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Don
That's what they were trying to destroy.
Tyler
It was cardiac arrest, not coma. Some. Oh, gosh damn it.
Brent
Damn it. We need to verif.
Don
Somebody research that I know not gonna.
Brent
Mag is usually the guy that researches it.
Tyler
You can't put out false information. You're a researcher. I'm researching everything now.
Drew
Well, if they pull the plug on.
Brent
You'Ll have some super chats.
Drew
All right, well, let's see. We got JC Hero of Canton says War Pigs is the goated kit up song, five bucks.
Tyler
All right, I got this right off the bat. I'd like to start out with the first article. Hulk Hogan's wife denied he was in coma for days before his death. So he was in coma.
Drew
She might deny it.
Tyler
All right, all right. War Pigs.
Brent
Got it.
Drew
Zulu whiskey is in says TK Iranian name is Fagette. We got JC Hero of canon back in. Real American goated kid up song five bucks.
Tyler
Oh, now we're in a race. Oh, man, here's the thing. I feel like Hulk Hogan's gonna. Gonna run away with it because he really only has one song. Right? Like the all. Yeah, all the. The 30 different really good Aussie songs are gonna split the. The money.
Brent
Yeah. It's obviously going to be Ozzy or Hulk Hogan or both.
Tyler
Real American.
Brent
We had a couple 50. We had three 50 super chats. We didn't lose them, did we?
Drew
At point shouldn't. I've got them all up here.
Brent
Thing saves them. Okay.
Drew
Yep. All right. See, at point man podcast. 20 bucks listening to the live over Bluetooth at a national guard recruiting event at a county fair up in Massachusetts tonight. Thursday night is for the boys. War pigs for the closing.
Tyler
Oh, there we go. There we go. Yeah, it's going to be an active one tonight for that.
Drew
Now the question is, Black Sabbath, War pigs or Aussie solo? War pigs.
Brent
Black Sabbath.
Tyler
War pigs. Yeah.
Don
Got to go.
Tyler
Black Sabbath. Yeah. Yeah, Good question.
Brent
The Aussie one is good, too, but I can't remember who if that one was with Zach Wilde. What guitar player that is.
Drew
Any pinch harmonics, it's going to be Zach.
Tyler
Pinch harmonics. Yeah, for sure.
Drew
Let's see, we got bravo, whiskey911 says Brent Tucker looks like an operator version of Zach Wild.
Tyler
Yeah, that's. And we both play guitar. Just wide. Wildly different levels. Wildly different levels. Gosh.
Drew
Jim says TK was holding Ozzy's hand when he passed away. That's why he died. That's what TK was saying. It's Tim's fault.
Brent
It's awesome.
Drew
Let's see. SF tactician says. Riddle me this. If you say anything about non existent UAP UFOs, the government will self delete UFO 6 times in the back. But if you do some TK stuff, they invite you to the White House apparently.
Tyler
Man. I'm going to pose a question real quick and I've been thinking about this for like. We're rock nerds and music nerds. This isn't. This is an honest question. Get, get like take, take, take. Take your fanness of, of Ozzy out of it. Okay. And not that he doesn't have a reason to be a fan of just Ozzy, but Black Sabbath and then Ozzy is individual career had two of the most iconic guitar players behind them between Zach Wilde and Tony Iommi. I would say Randy Rhodes and Randy and Randy Rhodes.
Drew
Jakey Lee also.
Tyler
So, so you take those, you take those amazing guitars that came out with the most amazing chord progressions, choruses, licks and, and, and riffs and solos. Is Ozzy. Does. Does Ozzy maintain who Ozzy is without those guys? Could anyone. There's a lot of talented guitar players.
Brent
No, but look at those albums. They're not nearly as good. Now granted, Zach Wilde only wrote, if I remember correctly, did not write anything after no More Tears. He was brought in to do the recording for down to Earth. But he did not write any of the music. But just to get that Aussie sound, he wrote recorded for it. But Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath created the original power cord. You guys know that?
Tyler
No, I did not know that.
Brent
Do you know why?
Tyler
No. Because he doesn't have long fingers. I don't know.
Brent
Well, missing a finger. And so he created the power cord for his own fingers.
Tyler
Oh really?
Drew
He had his. The tips of three of his fingers chopped off in an industrial accident on his last day on the job. And then he fabricated these fabric looking thimbles basically that went on his. Okay, his fingers, his nubs gave him. That distinct sound. And because of his accident. Yeah, just. Just a two note chord became his staple. And now like. Yeah, the power chord is.
Tyler
Is the staple. Yeah.
Drew
God bless Tony Iommi and the power chord.
Tyler
Right? You take power. I mean, the rest of rock, from punk to grunge, lived off power chords. It was. It was a whole genre. What's crazy?
Drew
All right, we got Jacob Schneider says, Tyler, I'm enjoying a two week unpaid suspension for telling a dispatcher I'm not listening to someone too fat to fit into the front of an ambulance.
Brent
Hey, one time we got on our.
Tyler
It sounds worth it.
Brent
One time we. We got on our attack channel and we were talking. Our TAC channel is meant to talk from. For us. Right? From me to you. Okay. It's not meant to call county or central. It's just meant for me. But sometimes the dispatchers listen to it.
Tyler
Okay.
Brent
For officer safety in case I'm actually on that channel.
Tyler
Okay. All right.
Brent
And one time my buddy goes, dude, our dispatcher man, who pissed in her Cheerios. And she goes, watch commander, track and tack, which is you're mouth.
Tyler
Oh, gosh, like.
Don
Like that time you accidentally grabbed the satcom.
Tyler
It happens. It happens. Happens more than I'd like to admit. And as the combo guy on the team is even more embarrassing when you. When you do the wrong thing because you. You should. You should know.
Don
Supposed to know.
Tyler
You're supposed to know. Yeah. Supposed to know better.
Drew
Jay Burke says. What's up, boys? Good to see everybody smiling, enjoying the cigars. Hope all is well. Saw David Hookstead had a really solid update on the Tim Kennedy bs. You guys should be proud of policing your own.
Tyler
Let's. Let's cover that just. Just for a second. So I know David covered it, but as always, when you're the first to cover someone. We talked about this before. It's bittersweet, right? Because you like, when you're first to cover it, it's that it's kind of like breaking news, but you have the least amount of information like at the time. And, and so. And that's by no means any sort of like, you know, it like hit. I'm. I'm talking towards like David Hook's dad. Yeah, that's just. That's just the nature. That's just nature of it. And so he. He was quick to. To report on like the civilian gold medal that. The Congressional gold Medal that. That Nader was trying to put forward for Tim Kennedy. Sarah Verardo, Dennis Price, Chad Robichaux. A lot of people on the evacuation of Afghanistan. He put this forward two years ago, and it got denied. Well, it's easy to understand why it got denied two years ago is because the Biden administration wasn't going to award civilians for stepping in and helping out when the military and State Department were. Were too inept to do their job. So it went nowhere. So no good deed goes unpunished. So that was the best of this guy, to the best of his knowledge, decides like, hey, what's two years later, different administration. No one pushed him to do it. He was like, I'm gonna resubmit this, and maybe we can get these. These people an award they deserved. Well, apparently wasn't tracking the Tim Kennedy drama. And it. You know, the memes came out and people, like, call him, tell him he got personal phone calls from people, and. And he's like, okay, my bad. I'll. That. I'll retract that. So everyone that was really up in arms, rightfully so. About the gold medal. Thing is your voices were heard, and it's one of those cliche things, like you would think, like, calling your congressman is like, no one's going to listen. Guess what? Like, they. He heard. Like, he listened. And. And we fixed that. All right?
Drew
We got. Yo, Ben. If you call them to release the Epstein files, you think they'll listen?
Tyler
It's worth a try.
Drew
All right. Yo, Ben. Bamboozled says, hey, fellas. Heard the Hulk got baptized less than a year ago. Ozzy apparently has been a Christian for years. Crazy train outro, 20 bucks.
Tyler
Yep. That's what I'm talking about. All his hits are going to disperse.
Drew
Wiley Coyote, aka is it Wesley, I believe is. Is 500 bucks tonight. Whoa, 500 bucks. He's our big donor. Evening, fellas. Let us pause for a moment to reflect on the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. I don't know whether he ended up in heaven or hell, but one thing's for sure, he is finally free of his freaking bitch of a wife, Sharon. In honor of his journey over the mountain, my vote for outro goes to the song of the same name. Oh, man. Runner up, Mama, I'm Coming Home.
Brent
Over the Mountain's a great song.
Drew
Over the. Solo in. That is.
Brent
Yeah.
Drew
500 bucks for over the Mountain, man.
Brent
Yeah, it's gonna be hard to beat.
Don
Yeah, it's gonna be hard.
Tyler
Hey. Yeah. Sharon was. Was obviously a force to be reckoned with. It's. It's one of the. It's one of the reasons Zach Wilde had had an issue touring, because he couldn't Deal with. With Sharon. Sharon Osborne. They apparently notoriously not like each other.
Drew
No, no. They. They loved each other. It was Randy and Jakey who had the issues with Sharon. Like, Zach speaks very highly, but Sharon.
Brent
Had an affair with Randy Rhodes. You know that.
Tyler
No.
Brent
Yeah.
Drew
No way.
Tyler
Oh, I gotta look. Really?
Brent
Sharon Osborne affair with Randy Rose. I'm schooling y' all on top knowledge, right?
Tyler
So I'm.
Don
I'm something Sam Houston know.
Drew
I'll tell you what, Sharon. Randy. Randy definitely didn't Sharon.
Tyler
Oh, gosh.
Drew
You got to give it to Sharon, though. Not about the whole Randy Rose thing, but, like, she made Ozzy when. When Ozzy, you know, was in the gutter. She's the only one.
Brent
She drove him to the solo stuff. Yeah.
Drew
She made him who he. Who he is.
Brent
Well. And she was very outspoken and trying to get ousted. Pro. They're not just pro Palestine band. They're pro. A Moss band. And she was like, you. You can't be pro terrorist here. Like, we're. We're all for left bands and right bands. Sure. But you cannot be openly pro.
Drew
Who was it? Do you remember? Was it for the.
Brent
Yeah, because Tom Morello was an advocate of them for being social justice warriors or whatever. And David Draymond from a Stir is like, absolutely not. He's like. Well, he's Jewish.
Drew
Tom Morello is a communist. Yeah.
Brent
I mean, but big time Dave, you.
Tyler
Know, Dave Draymond, the whole thing. Yeah. Say what you want about Sharon, but. Yeah, I've just been watching a bunch of clips like, Sharon was on the View. No real surprise there. Gross. But, you know, Ozzy Osbourne showed up on stage, like, flew in and surprised her to give her flowers on stage while she was at the View. I mean, she. She may have been a lot to deal with. A man. Did he love her? Like, a lot of credit? Yeah, yeah, he. He always gives her a lot of. Of credit. And. And it's like, she should have left me a long time ago and didn't. And she's an amazing woman. I think it's really cool that that type of rock Persona ended up with like a lifelong love, you know, that. That. That they had.
Drew
Let's see, the chats are asking who's the guest tonight?
Tyler
What? Oh, this is our first time guest.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
First time.
Don
Green Line T. You must be new.
Tyler
You are a.k.a. i did wake up and choose violence. You did a.k.a. don the Dragon.
Drew
Nice.
Tyler
I've been posting all day. A.k.a. the. The nod Father. Yeah. Green Beret extraordinaire, I would say. Extraordinaire Mr. Mustard the first Green Beret.
Don
You ever met, right? Something like that.
Tyler
You won the first for sure. Yeah, I'll take that. Mr. Mustard saying. You can call him by his proper name, Mr. Mustard saying.
Don
Or Don.
Brent
Out of context. Mr. Mustard stain. Sounds weird.
Tyler
It does, yeah. Yeah. If you don't know what a Mustard saying on jump wings are. Yeah, it is a little. It was a little weird.
Drew
Mr. Mustard Stain in the parlor with the, you know.
Don
Yeah. Candlestick with the jump wings.
Drew
All right. Chris Smith says AI version of Real American by Savage.
Tyler
Oh, gosh.
Brent
Is that if that.
Tyler
Is that a thing? It's got. It's got to be. I'm a fine. I'm a. I'm a fine.
Brent
They're saying make one. If they're.
Tyler
Oh, they say make one or. Yeah.
Drew
Brandon Bailey says war pigs for $20. Also was going through it the last couple months, and you guys helped me.
Brent
Get through it good.
Tyler
Thank you, brother.
Brent
Yeah, man. I mean, you guys reaching out and telling us that we're just a couple shit kickers with a. With a podcast. So it means a lot to us that, you know, the hanging out with the boys. Me and Brent started this 13 months ago. We started the lives. And I remember I went and looked at the analytics and it was me and Brent and 20 people in the chats. And now, you know, we've. We've grown a community together with all of us, and it's good to hear stuff like that.
Drew
Let's see. San Andreas says. Love the show, guys. Bunt. You say that to never pee sitting. But what if you are in a. Hmm. W.V. humvee? I guess one say in a non permissive environment or a go. Or a pilot who cannot stand a Gatorade bottle will save your life. If you hold it in. You're gearing to bust a taint.
Tyler
Yes. Those are dire situations. We're talking about different things, guys. We're talking about you have no option but. But to do that. But when you have an option in your home to sit or stand and you choose to sit and you don't have.
Brent
I'm worried about your brother.
Tyler
Yeah. And you don't have recent knee surgery. I don't know. It's got. I got it.
Brent
I got.
Tyler
I got questions.
Drew
Really drunk.
Brent
Not an excuse.
Tyler
Not excuse.
Brent
Pee on the toilet.
Tyler
You want one? One eye it. Bend your knees just a little bit.
Brent
Closer to like lean down and squat forward.
Don
I mean, if you're in.
Tyler
I don't know.
Don
There's always something, you know, that's Right.
Tyler
You know the rules. That's right. You. You lean forward, you stabilize, you get.
Don
Right over shower curtain.
Drew
You know the rule, right? If you sit down to pee, you got to sit there long enough to where it turns into a.
Brent
And then. Yeah, you're going to be there. You might be there a minute, right?
Tyler
Yeah. Got there. Got. Got there on a technicality. Fully committed.
Brent
Do the right thing, no matter who's watching.
Tyler
That's right. Yeah.
Drew
If you're too drunk to pee standing up, you. You. You need to stop drinking. All right. You did it. Nonsense.
Don
Or just hold it till you're sober.
Drew
Eric.
Brent
VQ.
Drew
I don't know what a sec for $129 is. Sec.
Tyler
Oh. What is a sec?
Drew
Some type of exchange there from Sweden. And screening for the Swedish Ranger Regiment in two weeks. Brent's morals and stories are echoing still.
Tyler
Thank you.
Don
Must be Swedish money.
Tyler
Yes.
Drew
Do they lead the way?
Tyler
Yes. Oh, yeah, man.
Don
Probably my wife.
Drew
My wife drives a Volvo, so. Thank you for the good car, Swede.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
All right. At beyond the Barrel podcast. There he is.
Tyler
Real American.
Drew
20 bucks for real American.
Tyler
All right. It's climbing.
Brent
Hey, there's requests to turn up my audio, Drew. I don't know.
Tyler
Yeah, I feel like it's a little low.
Brent
I swear to God, you sabotaging me every episode.
Drew
No, you're. You're.
Brent
You're.
Drew
You're pinged. And you don't always spike into the mic, but sometimes you do, sometimes you don't, so you're hard to gauge.
Brent
I'm moving.
Don
You think you'd know how to do this by now.
Drew
But that's.
Brent
That's. That was my point. We have no idea what we're doing.
Drew
And now getting more noise. You really did choose violence today, Don. Talking to Tyler.
Tyler
I know.
Brent
Grumpy old man. Leave alone.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Let me know if this colostomy bag starts stinking.
Tyler
Change out.
Drew
Part of my duties, man. I just don't know where that noise is coming from, man.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
It's so hard.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Is it really bad? From time to time.
Tyler
Is it not in your headsets? Can you not hear it?
Brent
Everything.
Drew
Like, I think it's. Sometimes it's mine. And I'll, like, turn my head.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
It'll stay there and then stop. So I don't know if it's me.
Tyler
We'll figure it out.
Drew
There's a lot of people in here. I have no idea if it's cell phones. And I. I just don't know what. What it is. Someone says one mic, it's not one mic. It is. It's not. It's. It's in the system. I don't know what it is. I've turned each mic down separately to try to pinpoint it. All right, moving on. It says new Infantry LT here. Congratulations, I guess.
Brent
Is that.
Drew
I don't know if I. New lieutenant. What.
Tyler
What's lt Lieutenant. Yeah.
Drew
All right. Congratulations. Waiting on the TK Book buyback needs to be more for signed copy.
Tyler
For sure.
Drew
I believe that shite. Thanks for what y' all do.
Tyler
Absolutely. And thanks for researching. Researching into that and having enough common sense to believe the truth when it's. When it's finally shown. There's a lot of people that read the book and then heard the truth. It was like now. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Don
So many deniers.
Tyler
Yeah. So many deniers. So good on you. You got a good head on your shoulders.
Drew
All right, Jackie says let's effing go. With all the tests in the room, why is Tyler's voice so squeaky? Violence.
Don
Violence.
Tyler
Just violence again. Way to go, Don. Look at the domino effect you started.
Don
Now it's my fault.
Tyler
Okay, Take a good look at the bad guy.
Drew
You're a social media influencer.
Don
Yeah, Ye. Yeah, I'm influencing social media.
Drew
All right, I'm turning off the mics in the back. I'm sorry, guys.
Tyler
This.
Brent
I mean, will that work? Oh, it works.
Drew
I have. No, It's. It's lower.
Don
Still hearing something?
Tyler
No, now it's gone. Now it's gone.
Don
It was magnet.
Brent
Well, well, we got an idea. We got our back.
Drew
No, I just. I turned up one of them. All right, both mics in the back are down because I don't.
Tyler
Yeah. Thank you.
Drew
So far. It's all right. So you guys in the couch, you guys just use your sign language at that camera over there. If you got to say anything. Okay.
Brent
Or if you need to say something, just let us know. We'll turn it up. Listen to the buzzing while you say something. Turn it back down.
Drew
All right, let's see. 30. 30 the show. Hey, boys. My vote for outro song is War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Hey, Tyler. I was 4th BCT 82nd from 08 through 12.
Brent
Oh, I was there. Oh, we probably went to airborne school together. I was there. 08 to 2012.
Tyler
Yeah, check that out.
Brent
Third. Third BCT there.
Drew
Bravo. Whiskey says Mama, I'm coming home. 50 bucks.
Tyler
Man.
Drew
We're like a. We're like a podcast jukebox here for these guys. JB67 says, Brent, thoughts on using shields And a hostage rescue for law enforcement.
Tyler
Nope, can't do it. Yeah. And I've heard, I have, I've listened with, with an open mind and I've seen teams do it. I'm not that like close minded to, especially to progress. And I really have taken an open mind approach and looked at it. And you cannot do it. You cannot do it. You have to accept the risk of hostage rescue missions, which is you put the hostage life over your own. A shield will slow you down. One, two. There is no way to be as accurate with a shield and a pistol. Sure as hell knows way to be accurate with a shield and a rifle. And yes, I've seen different shields that allow you to do that. It's not, you're not as accurate. So I don't care if you take a little bit of accuracy down and increase your risk a lot. Anything, anything that decreases mission success, which is the rescuing of the hostage cannot be entertained. Absolutely. No, no, no shields. This is, this is a little bit my forte. So I gotta talk about a little bit. Here's a caveat to that. Shields cannot lead on a hostage rescue. But I say this, A shield should be in the house during hostage rescue. And that's, that's more in contingency planning. If a bad guy wants to keep someone out of a room by spraying rounds through a door, that prohibits the assault force from getting in that door. And that's, that's a realistic thing. The only way you're going to make entry into that room is bring the shield up to the front, force your way in. That's the only way you're getting in as a shield, but not, not as a primary course of action. It has to be in contingency planning and should be at the back of the train or somewhere that can get to quickly. There's, there's a shortest version of S.H.I.E.L.D. hostage Rescue Class. I give.
Don
Yeah, I agree. It has to do with the priority of life.
Tyler
Priority life.
Don
I mean, a priority is a hostage. So like you said, you have to be willing to put yourself at risk. And, and if your first thought is to bring a shield.
Tyler
That's right.
Don
Your mindset is already.
Tyler
It's already off.
Don
Your mind is already shifted away from priority.
Tyler
Yep, absolutely.
Drew
Chase Lee. 20 bucks says, Drew, you should sing the chorus to Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas. It seems to fit for both.
Tyler
That's it.
Drew
Carry on my way. No, I'm not gonna do it. All right. Salvador Balona. 50 bucks says. Oh, here we go.
Tyler
Just a songbird.
Drew
Brenton Hoover, Boston accent. When are you boys coming to Massachusetts? Don, which deployment did you enjoy while on 320? SFG.
Don
Oh, man.
Drew
Closeout song. Black Sabbath. War Pigs.
Tyler
War Pigs.
Don
Favorite deployment, man.
Drew
I don't know.
Don
I'd say probably just because one of the coolest things you could ever do is be a Special Forces team sergeant in combat. Yeah, I would say Iraq.
Tyler
Yeah, that. Iraq was a good one.
Don
Since you were there.
Tyler
Yeah, that, that surge Iraq was a fun one.
Don
That was. That was cool. I mean, obviously it.
Brent
There was.
Don
There was heartaches and stuff like that, but just the, the overall, you know, just the. Yeah, I'd say that just, you know, by nature of, you know, what I got to do and who the guys I got to be with.
Tyler
I won't.
Don
Yeah, as a matter of fact, I.
Tyler
Won'T talk about it too long. But real quick. There are things that happen at a time that you didn't realize how special they were. And my first mission when I showed up was when we were in Saddam's palace and we were doing a company sized hit. Yeah, I've never. And in all my deployments and all my friends deployments, I'm sure they've happened. Someone else has done it. Do you know how rare it is to do a company wide hit as a SF company? Five ODAs? Were we six at the time?
Don
I think we only had five. I don't know.
Tyler
We made five ODAs on the same mission. They were different target sets, but executing five simultaneous mission sets simultaneously. One SF company, it's. It's so rare. And that was my first mission.
Don
And I got. You just showed up.
Tyler
Yeah, I just showed up. I met you guys at the palace.
Don
But that was cool.
Tyler
That was super cool. As a new guy. I just left Afghanistan and that was my first mission in Iraq.
Don
Yeah, that was. That was a big.
Tyler
I mean, that was a big deal. That was like.
Don
What else was cool about that was. I don't remember how long we'd already been in country at that point in time, but that was the first time some of us had seen each other since we left the US too.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
So it's like, bro, what you been up to, man? Been hearing you on the radio.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
And Salvador will be in Massachusetts as soon as Point man podcast who was in the super chats earlier. He's got to find us a place, but once he does, we'll be in Massachusetts.
Drew
PRC says Randy Rhodes died up the road from you in Leesburg.
Tyler
And Leesburg. Did he really?
Drew
Back in 1982, roads up the road, Matt Burns. Shout out to my buddy Levin. Bravo with the 173rd. Who just rotated out to Croatia. He immigrated here legally from Italy and is now serving the country because he loves it.
Tyler
Nice.
Brent
And then he went back to Italy with the 173rd.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
They're like, oh, yeah, you're Italian. We'll send you to Italy.
Drew
Yeah.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Average Joe says favorite Aussie moment, Black sabbath, California Jam, 1974. Four year old. Killing yourself to. To live. To live. Killing yourself to live. Sorry. Favorite Hulk moment. NWO's WWE debut at no Way out in 2002.
Brent
Man.
Drew
Nice.
Brent
I was gonna. I was actually gonna send drew the YouTube when a Hollywood Hulk Hogan turned bad guy.
Tyler
So, like. Like most normal Americans, I. I grew out of wrestling by age 8 or 9. But. But those. But that being said, let me tell you, as it was probably later than that. 12, something like that. Like, as a kid, I didn't miss a wrestling event or a Monday night or what. Whatever. Whatever. I can't remember when it was then, but I know I watched it. I watched it religiously. I followed the storylines like it was. It was huge as a kid. It was so huge as a kid. It was just a couple years ago that I went down this very long rabbit hole of, like, where were all my wrestling? What happened to all my wrestling idols? You know, Heart Attack.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
Andre the Giant, you know, the Hacksaw. Jim Duggan.
Don
Rowdy. Rowdy Pipe.
Tyler
Rowdy. Rowdy Piper. Mr. Perfect. Like that whole late 80s, early 90s macho man, ultimate Warrior. I can still. I remember all the. The Road Warriors. I mean, I remember all those guys. All those guys. I still remember. And I have, like, the worst memory. And I can still remember almost every wrestler in the 80s and 90s, and they all died. And I was like, well, that's all right. Like, Hulk still standing strong.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
And he finally. Ah, man. Who's. Who's the last one standing in that era? Ric Flair. Ric Flair's alive. He was later. He wasn't during that same time.
Brent
About ten years after.
Tyler
Ric Flair lives in Tampa.
Brent
I thought he lived in Charlotte.
Tyler
He lives in Tampa. We might have multiple houses, but I know. And he goes to amso, like, all the time in. In Tampa.
Drew
TG says it's Hop on, Des. Okay. Have you guys looked into doing a history episode about Colonel David Hackworth?
Brent
No. Short answer.
Drew
Give us a reason to do so. Yo, Ben Bamboozled.
Tyler
I'll do one on David Hasselhoff.
Drew
Y' all do y' all do amazing Work. I'm DJ Rink on Patreon. I was in the Persian Gulf on August 26, 2021. The Biden administration failed US sailors too. I appreciate all you do, Drew.
Tyler
They. They failed you. And they failed the rest of the country for four years.
Drew
Thanks, guys. Joe.
Tyler
They tried to fail us again for four more years with their. With their vp. Thank God, man.
Drew
Joe Saunders. Yippee ki. My vote for the closing song is Ozzy Bark at Moon.
Tyler
Another good one.
Drew
10 bucks. If it's too emotional, we could do a song along with Tyler. I Feel Love by Donna Summer. This is a joke request. Put the money in the beer.
Brent
Yeah, you gotta come up with 490 more dollars.
Tyler
But that being said, War Pigs is. It's. It's early. War Pigs is scratching. Scratching back in.
Brent
Yeah, if me and Brent sang that, I would sing Ozzy's part. He would sing le part.
Drew
The creature 96 says Brandt, did you ever come across Casey Ry during your time in service? And reference the note. Oh, is that Steven Segaldi?
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
And reference the notepad that never gets a second look. Is it just full of men's members drawings? Tke who?
Tyler
No, but we did. We did. We did have a really funny guy at the unit that would. That would draw dick drawings. And he had like dick helicopters and. And dick assaulters. It was made by all different dicks.
Brent
Different types of dicks.
Tyler
Dick that I know of. That I know of. And man that. You get a hold of his notepad, you better be mentally prepared for what you're about to see. Oh, he was. He was a good artist too.
Drew
Joey Holt says, who's the team? You. Jelly roll on the couch.
Brent
Go to the couch cam. Go to the couch.
Tyler
T. Boo. Jelly roll.
Drew
Yeah.
Tyler
Hey, yeah, guys got a family. Watch out.
Drew
Raven two three says crazy train by Ozzy for tonight's 20 bucks.
Tyler
All right.
Drew
Chris Durko. Thank you for the love. Jacob Schneider says, Bert, you were wrong on the into the Breach podcast.
Tyler
Damn, I hate being wrong.
Drew
The Garand is five round clip.
Tyler
All right, I'm not. I'm not overly upset about that. I'm not overly wrong about that, but I. But. But not overly upset about that. But. Yeah, thank you. Thank you.
Don
Big deal.
Tyler
Yeah, I didn't carry one, so be really messed up.
Don
Yeah, I know. Those came after my time.
Tyler
Yeah. All right, now I gotta go back to the comment section and see all the 2A nerds. The whole comment section. This idiot was in the Delta Force. He doesn't know.
Drew
He doesn't know how many rounds been in a grand?
Tyler
Damn it. Actually, well, guess what? I didn't load my grand clips all the way. I always loaded into five, so I was right.
Don
So you can carry 50 of them.
Tyler
Hey, dude.
Drew
Yeah, buddy.
Brent
We got to hit our sponsors first. First row of sponsors. Cloud defensive. The best in handheld and weapons mounted illumination. You know I made that up, right? No, I made up their. I don't know if they use it, but I use it.
Tyler
Good. Perfect.
Brent
But go to clouddefensive.com, use promo code ANTIHERO15 and get the best. Best in. Like I said, handheld and weapon mounted illumination and tasty gains. Did you guys know this about creatine? Increase power in your workouts, hydrate your muscles and leave them looking more full. Faster recovery. There's been multiple notable studies on creatine and the benefits to brain health. We wouldn't recommend any supplement that we wouldn't use if we filmed an episode today. I think I ate three of these in the middle of it. We use them and you want to get bigger, have more power in your workouts, recover faster. I suggest getting a couple bottles. Use promo code anti hero for 20 off@tastygains.com. back to soup chats.
Drew
Y' all have to fill some time. I have to get back to them.
Tyler
Oh. Oh, yeah. You know, this is. All right. I'm gonna give you a different answer to this because that one's hard. That one's kind of hard to answer. There's a couple cliche ones you can go with. I'm gonna give you a better one. Even though it's popular, this is my most favorite. Like, Maybe not Top 10 Black Sabbath, Aussie songs, and it's Perry Mason. Love that song. Love that song and Perry Mason. And not a lot of people listen to it. Or maybe they hear it. Like, I think I've heard that song.
Don
Forgotten song.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Perry Mason's is A Diary of a.
Brent
Madman is the best odds. Although the best guitar solo ever written in the history of mankind was no More Tears by Zach Wild.
Tyler
Yeah, it's up there.
Brent
The weird thing about no More Tears in the middle is the weird whale noises. No one ever explains me what they are.
Drew
They're crying.
Brent
They're what? Are you being for real? Oh, that whale sounded better.
Drew
Blitz Chimera says, hey, Brent, you know Larry Washington, friend of J, D.O. sF, SWAT, medic, firefighter, all that. Have him on the pod, brother. He's a Florida man. Or if you want, you could have my buddy Craven.
Brent
Oh, here it comes.
Tyler
Drew's on to you.
Drew
That's love, boys.
Brent
Anybody named first name Craven is a prank, all right?
Drew
You got to keep your gay stuff between yourselves, all right? Zulu Whiskey, would you have D.J. and Slade on to bury the hatchet and so D.J. can publicly denounce?
Brent
I don't think he needs to publicly denounce.
Tyler
All right, here's. Let me. There's. There's something actually, I actually want to address. I may have addressed it before. I'm not the biggest sig hater. I'm. I believe the P320 has issues. I hope they fix it because a lot of people use it. They need to fix it. That being said, I've never said anything bad about Sig Guns. They did. I used. I used their 300 Blackout in combat. I love their pistol caliber carbine, like nine millimeter guns. They're fun as hell. And we've used them at fundraiser events for Sentinel and we have run those things through the paces having like guy after guy after guy after guy after guy shoot them and unload clips and have never had an issue. So yeah, Sig the brand has. Has. Has some. Has some good.
Brent
He just told you what you have a problem with. You should be in politics. You don't have a problem with this.
Tyler
You have a problem with that. But man. And I. And I do. There's. Because a lot of people use them. I hope. I hope they. They figure out whatever it is and they go back to being an amazing gun company completely and not. Not have any issues because too many people use them. Like. We can't. We can't have. We can't have problem with. We can't have problems with our guns. We can't. Yeah. It could end up being a two way issue if there's. If a. The major company like that has a big enough gun problem like you think of like the real. The domino effect that really could have for EDC guys. And it's a huge problem. So I really hope that, that. That they fix it. And if they do, I'll be more than happy to report. Guess what? Sig's back.
Brent
Yeah, they will and they will.
Tyler
They're too big to not fix it. They're going to fix it.
Drew
Jay, Frederick says just got done rolling. Turned on yalls pod 52. Still getting on the mats. Thank you, fellas. Oh, okay.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah.
Brent
Rolling a joint.
Tyler
Okay. All right.
Drew
Rolling on the mat. Very good.
Tyler
All right, I'll tell you what you want to put your body through the paces for. Yeah. Not. Not everyone's done Hand to hand stuff. You know, a lot of people in law enforcement and military, you do hand to hand and do rolling stuff. I mean, you want to, you want to feel how out of shape you are. Go 100 on the mat and. And you'll be, you'll be gassed. You'll be gassed in 20, 30 seconds. And tomorrow you'll have small joints and muscles hurting that you didn't. You haven't felt in a long time. Good on you, man.
Drew
Lumber says, what are your thoughts on SWAT teams running their selection like CAG and allowing firefighters or paramedics to try out Tyler Hart's peen?
Brent
Yeah, I don't know. I don't really agree with that per se, because I don't. I mean, I get why they do it, but there's a lot of logistics that come with that. Getting somebody on the local fire department to try out for the team, but they're still just a medic. I always thought, get your own medics, at least have them, because a lot of them can't. Some of them will go through the law enforcement academy so they can carry a gun on the op. But, you know, I think it'd be better to have your own medicine.
Tyler
Yeah, the. Well, for starters, I'm gonna go ahead and take a little bit creative liberty here and say, I think I know what you meant. But they don't hold selections like gag. You know, they have their own selection process that, that works for them, I think, I think having a. I'm gonna give a little bit of a different take on it. And this, and this is a, this, this here is, this is opinion based. I don't mind a firefighter who's already EMT qualified, maybe even like paramedic qualified to be a part of it. And SWAT guys hate me all you want. You're wrong because it doesn't really matter. You could just assign that guy to the SWAT team without anything other than his medical experience because the medic shouldn't be in the stack and the medic shouldn't be in the building during clearing. So you can take any medic you want and you can put them outside the first line Defense for medical training, for gunshot wounds and things that happen in the house are fellow. Our fellow SWAT members or fellow assaulters. They should be able to handle that. The rest of the objectives should get cleared. And then once it's clear or you take them out to the medic, the medic should not. He's not your tactical guy. He's not your tactical guy. He's a medic. Make him the best medic in the world and don't worry about tax.
Brent
What about your 18 deltas and being part of the team? How do you.
Don
Yeah, well, there's a difference there. So an 18 delta is a Green Beret.
Brent
Well, I know I'm saying it.
Tyler
Yes and no. But, but how many 18 Deltas you have on a team?
Don
Two at best.
Tyler
Yeah, right. And on the assault, where are the two? Where, where do they go? One goes one place and the other one goes another place.
Don
Yeah, I mean it depends on manpower, but yeah, they're not always in the stack.
Tyler
That's right. I don't mind one of the 18 Deltas going the house. Like we, we need the mountain, we need the manpower. But one of the 18 Deltas is outside the house.
Brent
Yeah, but what, what is your argument? What if there was enough people that were medics that could still go in the house that were just as good as the assaulters on the spot team?
Tyler
Yeah, and that's as, as long as you have one medic outside the house. I, I'm that I'm not saying no medic should ever, should ever assault. So. And I'm sure that wasn't very clear, so people would probably take, might take that and run with it. That's not the best use. But yeah, for the, for the best use. But I don't most. I haven't run across SWAT teams that are, are so like manpower short like that. Like they'll take medics because that they have a manpower that's going to get taken wrong. Sure, they're short on, on manpower. But then you need to, then you need to get in. You need more salters.
Don
Yeah.
Tyler
Then do something then. Do something to get more salters, not more medics. Is that, does that make sense?
Brent
I mean, yeah, I just, it seems different when you're like, okay, Green Beret medics. Compared a Green Beret medic and a Green Beret, let's say engineer or comms guy, you would say that equally they can both pro lead the same, you know. Right. Yes, but, so hold on, wait, wait. So but for a SWAT team, you're automatically downplaying the fact that a guy has medical experience and is proficient in medical stuff, so therefore by default cannot be an assaulter.
Don
No, no, I think what he's saying is the dude's not a SWAT member. Not, you know, he's not a cop. He's not.
Brent
Yeah, there's a lot.
Don
So, but what you. Back to what you said in the beginning, was there's no reason that everybody on that team can't do self aid, buddy.
Tyler
Correct.
Don
And all that stuff. I mean heck the, the average just infantry private is a better medic than medics were 30 years ago.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
Teacher, they know about it, I mean long. So it's not that hard. And it's not like they're in a non permissive environment.
Tyler
Let me, let me put it in a little bit of a different way. Even if you have a medical background, when you're, when you're in the stack and you're going. And you're going to that house, guess what you are. You're an assaulter. That's what you are. You're an assaulter. You happen to have medical experience but that is not your job in the house. You are an assaulter. And it doesn't matter if it's medic or commo. As a commo guy we took turns. One comma guy went in the house and did assaults and one comma guy.
Brent
So you don't want him having medic on the mind when he's going to have job.
Tyler
That's right. It's not his job. That's what I want to say. Like it.
Don
So if you got, if you have guys whose, whose actual job in life is to be a firefighter. Paramedic.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
They didn't wake up and choose to be a SWAT cop.
Brent
Oh yeah. They can't. They can't even.
Don
That's not their job. You know. So I get it. I mean I get it that some guys want to get in there and they want to help and be involved but inside the house in the middle of an incident is not where they're going to start triage of patients anyway. Exactly.
Brent
In a good and a good. The reason why those medics are so important is because they go with. As soon as he comes out of the house they are with that SWAT cop from the time they make contact with them through the ambulance ride to the emergency room. So they are the liaison for everything that happened on target all the way to the table. 100% and they can tell you when things were put on. Stuff like that.
Drew
Misfit13actual says just bought a signed bottle of that golden goodness. Got to support Brent and the boys. Quick question for cqb Any preferred barrel length for clearing houses, huts, buildings and porta potties. Cheers boys. I added porta potty.
Tyler
Okay. Ten and a half is the longest you should have and you know especially because when you talk about ten and a half and we're talking about in special operations you have to go ahead and assume or really any tactics that there may be a suppressor attached to it as well. So ten and a half all, all day long. That's and it really is like the, the industry standard for, for, for, for c, for CQB pretty much.
Don
I mean when you start getting shorter than that you start having issues with.
Tyler
Right, right, right.
Don
Well, not just velocity, but reliability.
Tyler
Yeah, I, I, I really, yeah, yeah. I don't care, I don't care about velocity at that point. I really don't like it. It's close. It's coming out, it's coming out with enough to kill anyone and, and placement over velocity is, is, is, is, is rules. What I'd say a little bit different about that is, and it's more on the extreme stuff, but magnetic. What's some of those like real small barrels? Like five, those five inch barrels. The only, so my 300 blackout was, was a five and a half with a suppressor but it had the extended handrail that went over the suppressor and so that, that is fine. So it acts so it goes back to being more like a 9 or 10 inch barrel because I can use that, that handrail. I can't have a 5 inch barrel and that's it. And then have to hold a gun all, you know, cramped up like this. So it can get too small.
Don
Yeah, well Magna, you could probably back me up too though when you start getting short barrels like that, they're difficult to make run well, well his run. But you've got to really, really try.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
And you got to do a lot lot.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, but yeah, yeah but magnet but and not just like shamelessly plug magnet but that those short barrel guns is something you specialized in and something you, you developed for years and years and years and years. You've, for how long you been in the industry for? Yeah, almost 20 years.
Brent
And by the way, five inches is huge.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
I mean that's long.
Don
That's more than you need.
Tyler
It'll get the job done.
Brent
You got to know how to work.
Tyler
That.5 inches will still get the job done. Let me make sure that that's, that's put out. It'll kill a man. Yeah, yeah. For sure. Speaking of, of Seamus Plugs, I don't do this often, but rarely have I ever put so much on the line. He said he got some of that, that golden goodness it is here. It's been a long time coming. This is bottle number one of the FRCC bourbon brand. Seven years.
Brent
The drunks on the Couch.
Tyler
Hey, man, guess what? Ozzy. Ozzy and Hulk Hogan died. And I really didn't. I really didn't plan on. On opening this. I was like, well, this is just gonna be my on the shelf bourbon for a long time. But I wasn't prepared for Hulk and Ozzy to take a nosedive on the same week. It's. It's. It's more. And still bottle number one. It's still bottle number one. That's right. And so it's on pre order right now. You can go to the website FRCC shop and, and go ahead and, and get on the list to get on one of these. I didn't want to do a pre order too soon. Like, I don't want to do a pre order. Like, oh, you'll get like a month later. So they, they, they get to the distributor next week. So the pre order time is the. The flashbang super short. And. And it is. And it is time. I got one in hand. I don't know at least how much they are.
Brent
At least 15.
Tyler
Hey, it's. It's seven years. It ain't cheap.
Brent
Thank you.
Tyler
It ain't. It's seven year bourbon. Yeah.
Drew
Teddy. Bruce, hold on. Oh, my bad.
Brent
How is it?
Tyler
Yes, it's cool.
Drew
We didn't want any.
Brent
You guys got to share the shot glass. There's only two of them.
Tyler
I got more.
Brent
We got solo.
Tyler
I brought more shot glasses. I had. I had already.
Don
It's almost like you thought maybe this might happen.
Brent
Damn. All right, Magnet. Can't wait.
Tyler
I know.
Don
I'm gonna wait for seven years.
Tyler
Come and get it. Come and get it, boys. I've been waiting a long time to pour this.
Don
Well, congratulations, buddy.
Tyler
Thank you. Oh, is no one else now I gotta go too. Yeah, yeah. That one's for you, brother. Yeah. FRCC bet the house on this. So hopefully, hopefully it was. It was either the best thing we've ever done or it's the worst thing we ever did.
Don
Yeah. No, it's good, man.
Tyler
No, thank you. It's not true. Edit that out.
Brent
He doesn't have a mic.
Drew
The mics are off. They might heard it. All right. Teddy Roosevelt says you guys need to build a three man team. Choose between one Rob or Shrek or Tim or Marcus. Random female cop or that Florida police impersonator Jeremy D. Build a three man team.
Tyler
Oh, that Florida police. Was that the guy that rode on a bike? Was he like the bike guy?
Brent
No, what he was, was. He was a. He was a. Never became a cop.
Tyler
No. Like what? Like Yeah. I always say he wasn't a cop, but was on, like.
Brent
No, no, no. He was a security guard, but he did escorts for funerals. And he had a security. But that's right. And he was on Dr. Phil. And Dr. Phil's like, you're. And he. Dr. Phil portrayed the uniform that he's on that he wears. He goes, you're telling me that doesn't look like a cop uniform?
Tyler
He's like, nope. Nope.
Drew
All right. Jackie's back in. Says, no. Say it, Drew. Mr. Mehof, we're just not going to do it today. Papa Penguin, my brother pontificates. Gatorade bottle, question mark. Amateur hour. Try having another man hold an MRE bag for you to shite in because you're stuck in an AAV for 18 hours in full kit with 30 other dudes while you have the rumbly tumbly.
Brent
Your.
Tyler
That's.
Brent
No, that's a.
Tyler
That's a teammate right there.
Don
Yeah, that.
Tyler
That's a teammate. Hold this MRE back.
Drew
You hold your own. Damn.
Tyler
Let me tell you, especially in Afghanistan, although we weren't on the, like, the same missions, but, like, it's. Those are. They're the same stories of sorts. We've been on some long, long convoys and presence patrols. Like, gosh, I can think of some really long. And I've never in an MRE bag on some of those.
Don
I've never had to crap that bad.
Tyler
Oh, we're pulling over. We'll pull it up. Code brown. I'm calling a code brown.
Don
Having an MRE bag implies that you've been eating MREs, which you shouldn't be. You shouldn't be.
Tyler
Yeah. For days. Yeah. Yeah.
Drew
Oh, bad Chris Smith says, surely today we got two Outro Strongs, Real American and War Pigs. Thanks for the best show, boys. Beers up. Joe Schneider says. Brent, do you have any opinions on the Anchorage hostage situation where they failed the hotel door and retreated? Seems like once the breach is put in place for a hotel room, there's no turning back. Damuva, your thoughts?
Tyler
I don't know that, but I'm. I'm interested in this Anchorage hostage. In fact, I'm trying to have an answer for you before then. If I can find the video, we'll break it down tonight. Anchorage hotel hostage situation. I'm gonna look it up.
Drew
All right. This is Cascade Explorers for 50 bucks. Thanks for the love, man says long time listener, first time caller. War Pigs outro song. Gentlemen, 50 bucks.
Brent
And it's so funny because this is replaced. Just clawing back this Is replace calling in is super chats.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
He's telling his age there by saying first time caller. He's.
Tyler
You're online one.
Don
You could definitely cover more people that way.
Brent
Yeah.
Drew
Calling the radio station back in the. The day.
Don
War Pigs is gonna be a popular one. That's for sure.
Brent
It is.
Drew
Teddy Broosevelt back in says, Tyler, did you enjoy your time in law enforcement or the military? More. Got a bottle of FRCC bourbon and a CC Counterculture Incorporated T shirt on the way in the mail.
Brent
Oh, wow. Thanks.
Drew
Let's go.
Brent
I know mine was cheaper than that bottle of bourbon. I. I think I probably enjoyed my law enforcement career more just because there was more to do. I was in the infantry, so I only deployed once, and the other three years was doing details and cleaning out conicses. So.
Don
Yeah, well, you know, when you're young, you don't really realize, you know how to have fun doing it and everything sucks, you know, when you're a private.
Brent
Yeah, I don't know how to make. Cleaning conics is fun, but no, I guess when you get enough senior. Senior rank, you don't have to do that, which is. Is probably pretty cool. You know what's funny? In the military, that's not considered drinking on the job, because my first cop interview ever, they were like, so have you ever drank on the job? It's a pretty standard question that a lot of employers ask you. And I was like, yeah. And they're like, what? I was like, well, I usually was in the army.
Don
I was in 82nd.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
We go back to the barracks during lunch and take back a couple cocktails, and they're like that, son. That doesn't count, man. Jesus Christ.
Don
You don't want to just tell us you're an 82nd. That's all you had to say.
Drew
Goo91b says TK I'm sorry. I missed one. Hold on. Don't call me Pappy. Says my department is banning Sigs, and I'm upset about it. My M17 only goes off by itself when I use a We the people holster. Tyler. Love the landing strip. Stay dangerous, boys.
Tyler
The landing strip.
Brent
Oh, yeah. Usually that's not referred to a woman's vagina.
Tyler
That's right. That's right.
Brent
Yeah, that's true.
Drew
Oh, it is 20, 25, but, you.
Tyler
Know, usually referred to as a happy trail.
Brent
That's your chest.
Tyler
That's a start up there. Yeah. Okay.
Brent
All right. I would. I would shave a happy trail for 500 bucks.
Drew
Goon91 says TK lost my respect in a lot of ways. But when he called widows and mothers biatches, that was the defining moment. And he can never come back after that. In my opinion. Opinions. Rangers lead the way. 175 is the best. Battel.
Tyler
They're good. That's for sure.
Don
They're welcome to your opinion.
Tyler
What would be the best battalion? Dodd?
Don
Well, that'd be third after that.
Tyler
Is that where they stopped at three? They're like. They're the best.
Don
I think it was a fourth now.
Tyler
Well line battalion, but they had to.
Don
Make up for it after.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
All right. Hey, guys. I just sat in on these guys doing the the third episode on tk and it's coming out soon and it is going to be good.
Brent
We weren't telling anybody, Drew, but.
Drew
What? Are you serious?
Tyler
Yeah, we've been hitting on it for a while.
Don
Look at hitting it like they don't know.
Tyler
Let them know I was in the extra.
Drew
Coming soon. I didn't say wins. Coming soon. Coming soon for all y' all who had to wait late tonight. There you go. That's it. All right. Tech cowhand says love the show. Thursday is for the boys. Toby Keith has more legit combat deployments than Timmy K. He does just do uso.
Don
May not be wrong.
Tyler
Spicy.
Don
Probably got more than me.
Tyler
Oh, man.
Drew
Tactical Attic Squirrel. Nice. Brent. Curious if Delta teaches front sight focus or target focus for Pistols. Crazy Train for the Outro. Happy Thursday, fellas. 20 bucks for crazy Train.
Tyler
Front sight focus. Front sight focus it is.
Drew
Focus on the front. All right. Biggest says for 50 bucks. Marika, we need a history episode of SOCOM and JSOC, starting with the OSS War Pigs for the outro song. 50 bucks for war Pig bucks.
Brent
So War Pigs, please.
Drew
It was the first song that Sabbath opened up with on the 13 tour. Thanks, dad, for making that my third concert after seeing ACDC and Rush.
Brent
O. Those are good concerts.
Drew
Nice FRCC. John Todd says Brent does FRCC have a Hawaiian grown coffee. And what about Kawi Kawai? Kawaii grown tobacco for your cigars. And this guy's really.
Tyler
Yeah, he's fu. Yeah, he's fufu. But he knows. Yeah, he knows his stuff. No, we. We don't. We do not do Hawaiian grown coffee or the Cali grown tobacco for our cigars. I'm. I'm sorry, but I'm Tell you what. I bet Hawaii has some great coffee beans. But the. You. You pro. You would want to have that. So no one else would probably want to. Would want to pay for that Hawaiian Coffee is pretty expensive, American made. It's the shipping costs. The shipping costs from it.
Brent
I don't know.
Tyler
I've never had Hawaiian coffee, but.
Brent
Yeah, me neither.
Tyler
I. I could imagine. I can imagine being a little pricier.
Drew
Might taste like pineapples. Kevin Miller. Ten bucks says Thursdays is for the boys. Paranoid by Ozzy for closing song 10 Bucks for Paradise.
Tyler
Yes, the first Paranoid. Yeah.
Drew
Ozzy, John, Todd. Back again, Brent. The racial makeup of the unit, I assume, is predominantly white.
Tyler
Why would you say that?
Drew
Racist.
Brent
You can't say that.
Drew
Your thoughts of why that is. Altro's song is Crazy Train.
Tyler
It's actually really easy to say why that is. And I'll hit the easy button here because our biggest feeder units are other Whiteside special operation units and there's not very many black guys and those units. So we, we already have a low pool of, of black people to pull from. So they, they have to start filling up Seal, Green Beret, Rangers, Raider units first. Or, or we can't. Or they won't even get. Get on our radar. So they have to fill up those units first.
Don
This one test, now, would you say that it's maybe a accurate percentage reflection of maybe the rest of the military? Rest of the army? Maybe not.
Tyler
No. Because. So I've seen.
Brent
Have you ever been to S1?
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, I've seen this breakdown. I said that. I was like, nah, I've seen this breakdown before. And the military generally mirrors the, the public population as far as diversity.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
But here's where splinters wildly and, and as soon as you get into combat arms, minorities are much less. And then as soon as you go to the next step, special operations, even smaller.
Don
Smaller, smaller organizations you need to volunteer for.
Tyler
Yeah, of course, it's just one person, but I'll just tell you like an experience of my own. Sat down at this in processing unit. Sat down next to a black guy and he looked at me, he says, oh man, Special Forces. He said, what's that? What's that bubble? That was, it was the old school dive bubble that looked like an astronaut helmet. Didn't even know what it was. I was like, it's. It's a combat diver bubble. He's like, oh, that's crazy. He's like, he's like, I don't know why you do it, man. I was like, well. And I kind of got. That's. It's a weird question to guys like us. Why? What do you mean why wouldn't I? Yeah, why wouldn't I wouldn't. Why Wouldn't I want to be the best and prove myself and, and work with the best? And that's kind of. I was like, why wouldn't I? He goes, he goes, man, he goes, we make the same amount of money, and when we retire, we're gonna make the same amount of money. Why would I do all that? And I was like, well, I've heard that too.
Brent
In a weird way, he answered your own question.
Tyler
He's not wrong again. But, yeah, but let that, let that mindset sink in. It's one person, but that's. There's a real life story.
Don
I heard that exact same thing a couple times, too.
Brent
Joking with facts.
Drew
All right, John Bellwater says, mama, I'm coming home. Happy Thursday from Mississippi, boys. That's $10 for Mama. I'm coming home. Ms. Rip to the Legends, Ozzy and Hulk having a cold one for them. And other legends like Ms. Chris Robinson heard stories, but how bad was the fight?
Tyler
The so Chris Robinson, how bad was the fight? I can only tell it from my perspective. I was in a helicopter that day. We were supposed to land and be the assault force. Chris Robinson and that ODA were on the ground. There were blocking positions, and they're also supposed to basically secure those block positions so we could land. And it was so bad, my helicopter couldn't even land that day. The other helicopter had to land and recover Chris's body. So it was, it was pretty. What the boys are going through down, down there was pretty bad. It was also so bad that their Afghans immediately left them during the firefight. And that's where it gets dangerous. This is where, like, things are briefed to be. They're briefed to be to reduce risk. And what they do is they increase your risk. So when you show up to target to be a blocking position and you believe you have 40 guys make up the number 12, 12 ODA guys and 30 Afghans with you. And that's the amount of force you need. That's the amount of ass you need to do this blocking position. And then 30 brown guys, Afghans leave you as soon as a firefight gets bad. And it's not just that. So now you're, now you're dealing with numbers that are way below what you needed to do this. When they left their vehicles, they just on asked it and left. And they left their vehicles in a way to where the ODA couldn't maneuver their vehicles.
Don
So they didn't drive away.
Tyler
They just didn't even drive away. They just disperse. That's that, that's how bad it was. What a chaotic scene for those, for those boys to deal with. And it was, it was. It was horrible. And Chris ended up paying ultimate price for it.
Drew
Alex G. Says, what's up, Brenton Tyler. Another night watching my favorite podcast live. Y' all should break down this security guard shooting in Anchorage, Alaska. Yeah, and that thing looked wild. Security guard took care of business.
Don
Is that the same thing we were.
Tyler
Talking about, that what you just sent me? Yeah, that's a security guard. Because this. I was watching that for. That was a SWAT team that, that.
Don
Wow, man.
Drew
Things are busy in Anchorage.
Brent
Yeah, right. Alaska's. Hey, Drew.

Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Okay.
Don
He wrote the book About Face.
Tyler
About Face. Yeah. You know too much, Don.
Brent
Well, I haven't read it, but.
Drew
How do you know it?
Tyler
I mean, I just know he wrote it.
Drew
I mean I read the sequel to that Saving Face.
Don
Older you get the. You know, the more useless that you know.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Justin Carling says question for the panel. When have you ever used full auto in real world? For my favorite Tucker behind the camera. Loud. Marika Tyler party all the time. Kidding. Hulk Hogan's walkout song. Real America.
Brent
How much you donate?
Tyler
100 bucks.
Brent
100 bucks. All right. I've never. I'm assuming he means rifle.
Tyler
Right.
Brent
And I've never used fully auto.
Tyler
Don, I know your answer, but I'll let you give it.
Don
Never.
Tyler
No. No. Only Tim Kennedy has. Yeah.
Brent
And Arnold Schwarzenegger from Commando.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Full auto with five round clips.
Tyler
Yeah. And it's crazy because they're so proud to be like the special operation versions of the M4s have full auto. And like what? We never asked for it. That I know of. Like why. Why do they have full auto?
Don
I always felt like, well, it's nice to have. I might want need this someday.
Tyler
But I never did. Yeah. In case we were doing. Was it the. The Aussie peel is the only thing I ever. In practice even you know that that's where it's acceptable to use a full auto. Yeah. And. And if I had to do it in real life, I. I don't know if I still wouldn't. Like. I just. I'm not. I'm not wasting those bullets.
Don
Wired to not.
Tyler
Yeah. I'm just not wired to do that. Yeah.
Drew
Brent Huberty. 50 bucks, boys. F word.
Tyler
Tim K. Love the PG 13 smack talk bucks.
Don
He wants to make sure Drew Will actually read it.
Tyler
Yeah, that's right. We stand for something here at 30.
Drew
The show. 50 bucks. I can't wait to here the Next part of TK's book about the withdrawal from. You gents. Tyler ever make it to Sharkies for steak and shake? War pigs for outro. 50 bucks for war Pigs.
Tyler
Oh, Warp War Pigs. All right.
Drew
Tyler. Sharkies.
Tyler
Sharky. Yes.
Brent
When I was a young man, I went, everybody, every guy.
Tyler
What? I don't know what.
Brent
Sharkey's a place to get steaks and shakes.
Tyler
Emphasis on the Shakespeare, but never heard of it. I don't know what you're talking about.
Brent
I don't know what you're talking about.
Tyler
Just so you know, War. War. War Pigs is. It's. It's getting there.
Brent
It's.
Tyler
It's. Get there it is. Get there first.
Drew
Samuel 16. 7. $50 just to drive by at work. Wanted to say thanks. Gentlemen have no clue what the conversation is, but put this toward the song in last place, I guess.
Tyler
You know what? Because we just. I. I hate to not do his bidding, but I'm gonna throw it to War Pigs because I. I want to make a race out of it between.
Don
More pigs and what?
Tyler
Over the mountain. Okay.
Brent
Over the mountain.
Tyler
Over the mountain. Because off of one. Yeah, just. Just, just. Just one was all you needed for that one.
Brent
Yeah.
Drew
JB says I saw a video that Miami Dade has medics assigned them from the fire rescue department.
Brent
True. Yeah.
Tyler
There you go.
Drew
Brian Wall says Ozzy Ultimate Sin for the closing song. That's $20. Reminds me of my high school days. Driving fast in an old Nova on country roads and parties by the camp.
Brent
I used to have a 76 Chevy Nova.
Don
Chevy Nova.
Brent
Yeah. They're like the. They're like the cheap Chevelle.
Don
Like a muscle car for high school kids.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don
You're on a budget. You want a muscle car.
Tyler
That's right. But they're still cool. Oh, yeah, but they're still cool.
Don
Yeah, they were badass.
Drew
Now, what does Nova mean in Spanish? No go. And that's why they didn't sell well in South America.
Tyler
No go. He knew it right off the bat.
Don
Yeah, well, it's no Go Nova.
Drew
Oh, sorry, guys. I lost my spot.
Don
Keep going down. We've already read some of those.
Brent
Let me see. I will help you catch it.
Drew
I'm close.
Don
There you go.
Drew
Here we go.
Don
Right there.
Drew
I grew up on the Bourbon Trail. This is Joe Saunders. Yippee ki yay. Back in. Google it. So I am very interested in trying your Bourbon.
Tyler
Yep.
Don
I think you'll appreciate it.
Drew
Timber. Lumberjack says I work for Social Security issuing first time cards. And a lady actually named her kid Shite head. Like Shafeed, but was actually shite head. True story.
Brent
I would tell you, I used to. Where I used to work, there was two brothers. One of them name was lamangelo.
Tyler
Lamangelo.
Brent
It's spelled out. It spells lemon jello.
Tyler
No, yeah, I've heard.
Don
There's actually a guy in Jacksonville named Nasmo King.
Tyler
No Smoking King. Gosh.
Brent
And then, and then I've ran into another guy. I'm like, your, your first name's Demon? And he goes, no, it's Demont. Damon. I'm like, no, no, your mom named.
Tyler
I'm telling you, when the hospital fills these out, like they need to immediately take that and then give it to child protective services and be like, hey, if this is what they're going to call their kid, no chance.
Drew
No chance.
Don
Yeah, you're gonna, yeah, go ahead and.
Brent
Put him on the police record already.
Tyler
Just put a little tight haircuffs in the hospital. Little, little, little baby ankle monitor. Oh, okay. Okay. I don't know why Sirius XM won't pick us up. Oh, my gosh. Oh, here's all right, here's, here's all right. I, I, I have to say that I hate doing this, but I also have to protect people. A high level position, wise individual from the army called me and, and, and was talking about TK and they said, here's a problem we have. Like, yes, we don't want him as a, as a spokesman, but we need someone like, so who, like, you just sit here and tell us, this isn't the guy. This isn't the guy. This isn't the guy. Then who is the guy?
Don
And your first thought was Don Edwards? Right.
Drew
Damn it.
Tyler
I'm not that sorry. Damn it. Sorry I was selfish with it. But the, and, and I was like, you know what? I actually appreciate that question because usually I hate it when people come to me with a problem with no solution. Right. So here we are, just like, hey, this is your spokesman. This is your spokesman. Yeah. This is your problem, and we've never offered a solution to it. And that's actually a good question. Does special operations need a spokesman? Yeah. I mean, I think someone should be it. All that was to say there was a fleeting moment across my mind. I was like, then I'll do it. Yeah. And I was like, oh, hold on. I thought, I immediately started thinking of things we said. I covered the Podcast. I'm like, no, I don't have a chance, Tyler. Erase all the episodes they're not picking me up.
Don
Delete.
Tyler
And we just proved it again tonight. But I will say this. That's a good, that is a good question. Then, then who, Then who?
Brent
I mean, who should do it has to have one. An unofficial spokesperson.
Tyler
I think it's a good thing. I do. I think it's a good thing to parade, you know, someone. Someone or. I don't mean that like in a bad way. Yeah, every brand has an ambassador. Why wouldn't Special Operations have an ambassador? The right one.
Brent
Right.
Tyler
And, and here's the problem. And everyone's gonna maybe say everyone. You're gonna, People are gonna throw you a lot of names that are good names, but most of, the, most of the people that earned like that, that did the job don't want to be a spokesman. So you have, you have this real fine out. People who did the job were worthy of it and want to be in the public spotlight for the right reasons and are, and, and they are articulate, which is ironic that I couldn't even say that correctly. So I'm out. Yeah.
Don
But you know, you're safe here.
Tyler
Besides the lies, clean cut, articulate, knowledgeable about, about topics. Like, he was a great spokesman.
Brent
He already had his own.
Tyler
It was, it was a great, he was a great spokesman. It wasn't for that like pesky lies and integrity.
Brent
Well, they still gotta be in. They can't even be out.
Tyler
I don't know. I actually, I actually didn't, didn't go down that. And, and kind of like specify like, well, who.
Brent
I vote Andy Stump.
Tyler
Oh, but he's not a Green Beret. We're talking like Green Beret.
Brent
Oh, I thought you said special.
Tyler
I did, I did say special Operations. But I mean, we'll talk, we'll say, we'll say. Yeah, Green Beret.
Drew
The chads are saying Nick Lavery should be the.
Brent
Yeah, he's still in.
Tyler
All right, you know what?
Brent
And he won't answer his DMs spell.
Tyler
Spell Lavery for me. Just make sure. Okay, I will. I'm gonna look into him a little bit. I've heard his name before.
Brent
He's a one legged Green Beret that lost it in combat. And then came back.
Tyler
Hell yeah. And then came back. That's right. That's right. Okay, I'll, I'll find them. Okay. Okay. There you go. We've already, we've already started it and it's one of those things I hate to say it. If, if you're. If you do get kind of nominated and you don't want to do it, guess what? Like, if you, if you are the right guy for the job and you're capable of doing it, you have a duty. You have a duty. You do. Yeah.
Brent
He's still in.
Tyler
I love it. That's. That's so he has to, so he has to just assign him to it. There's nothing.
Don
This is your new job.
Tyler
Yeah. Oh, is he. Is he a warrant officer now?
Don
Good luck finding him. I'm just kidding.
Drew
Jacob Schneider says Brent the videos SWAT hostage rescue on body cam by real crime videos on YouTube.
Tyler
So I.
Drew
That's the Anchorage thing.
Tyler
I just, I just watched it. It's. It's. We probably won't break it down because it's so long. They're so like they stop it at all the wrong times and piece it together because they're probably breaking it down to. I wasn't able to hear it. It's tough to watch that. But I will tell you this. If anyone watches it, that is the absolute prime example. And this might blow a lot of people's minds. Even though most SWAT teams might have the capability of going explosive breach, most of them don't really. In reality, it's so hard to get anyone to, to approve that if anyone watches that video, that whole thing would have been a non starter with an explosive breach. They had the hardest time getting in that looked like they had a key, tried to open it, couldn't open it, and then they tried to hit it with the. Hit it with the ram. That door was a formidable opponent and they couldn't. And they couldn't get it open. You have to. You have to. And I get it when I get it. Like with, with cops. Like, maybe it's not your first option if you're super risk averse, but man, it better be somewhere in the ABCs and IT. And you better be able to get to it. Have the option. The escalation of force. Right.
Don
Hotel room doors, they're designed to not be able to be breached. Oh, they're solid, you know, so like there's some, some tricks. But if you've never. If you've never practiced that stuff and you're not aware of certain things you can do. Yeah, you could have a key card, but there's still ways to barricade from the inside. And, and you know, and that's what it was.
Tyler
It was barricaded from the inside.
Don
Yeah, it's. And here's, you know, you can get it a little bit open or something. But still, like you said, if you don't have explosive breach as a capability in your back pocket.
Tyler
That's right, in your back pocket.
Don
If you know you're going into a hotel, you need to know that you know. But that's part of your, your car matrix and all that stuff.
Tyler
And I got to make sure. Like, like, yeah. And this is not hit on cops. Like, this is, it's the exact opposite. This is more the crap that they have to deal with. They want to be able to do these things. They're fighting it all the time. And it's another thing that I've actually have written white papers for police departments to asking for my help. Like, hey, could you help explain this better? And I wrote a white paper to prove that the city council scared to death and higher ups are scared to death of an explosive breach because they think it's going to injure and hurt people. No, quite the opposite. It. Explosive breaching on hostage rescue reduces the risk to force and, and increases the, the, the mission success. Using the appropriate size charge does all good things. All good things. And so by, by saying no, you can't, because they're scared of it, because they want to make it less risky, they've done the opposite. And they have forced these cops in the bad situations and way more riskier situations because you won't give them the tools to do their job.
Don
Yeah, well, not just the cops, but the public.
Tyler
Yeah, and the public. Yeah.
Drew
Now our buddy sort of buddy Jason in Gwin county, they did that explosive breach on that barricaded suspect.
Don
With a robot?
Drew
No, not with a robot, but they, they overcharged and they blew the whole.
Tyler
And that. And then they're gonna, then they're gonna blame that. So because, because we had to turn Mike's down because of that feedback basically talked about a situation where they had a barricaded shooter. They put an explosive breach on. They put too much explosives on, blew in like half of the household wall of the house and killed him. Okay. For starters, barricaded shooter situation solved. I mean let's, I mean let's.
Don
But if I'm not mistaken, that wasn't a hostage situation.
Tyler
Okay.
Brent
Right.
Tyler
Okay.
Don
So it doesn't matter.
Tyler
Yep.
Don
You know, that's, that's a different, that's a different scenario.
Tyler
I was just about to say, well, that was their fault for putting too much explosives on. But actually, no, actually they saw. Yeah, actually they.
Drew
Problem solved.
Don
Problem setting.
Tyler
That's right. They, they took a two step problem into a one step solution. Yeah.
Drew
City council or the brass, that's not a good look.
Tyler
Right. And at the end of the day, it's their job to educate them and say. And say, hey, here's the difference and here's what we will do in this situation. And that city council and the brass has to have trust of on the guys on the ground. Which never happens. It rarely happens.
Drew
Jacob Snyder says Brent, the videos. No. Or he said that one. Sorry, Betty. Imperials meet curtains. Poor one for my late friend Jack. My. Oof. All right.
Tyler
I don't pour one for fictional individuals.
Brent
Or a $99 you're gonna make. You swear. You gotta pay money.
Don
You gotta pay more than that.
Drew
Goon91 says 3rd 75, known for big girls and buck teeth. Over here at frat bat, we got college girls of perfect hair. I keep my tactical will comb on me at all.
Tyler
I love it.
Don
You're not wrong.
Tyler
I love it.
Don
He's not wrong.
Tyler
But you know, he, he, he didn't challenge the killer mentality, the capability. He. He went that way with it. Yeah. And you're like, hey, but you're not wrong. You're right. Yeah. Yeah.
Don
I mean they got, they got Savannah with scad over there in Savannah.
Drew
Andrew says part one of two. Hey, guys. Former cop here did a few years in Nashville, Tennessee, and then came back to Desantis Land. Did a little bit at Boca Raton PD and just recently resigned. When I was in FTO again for my. Oh, and it just.
Brent
I got it part last department, I told my FTO and officers about these fake vet stories. No one believed me till y' all made your podcast. Much love.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Would love to share some cool, funny cop story sometime. Get over here in the studio, bro.
Tyler
Yeah. Come to our part of town. Tell them on live.
Brent
Know what me and Brent were talking about the other day? The reason we had the squad cast was to get cops and firefighters in here and just tell war stories, laugh and joke with the boys. So, you know, if you're a first spawner, former first responder, veteran, this is the place for you.
Tyler
And you know what? I was just in your neck of the woods. Was just on a boat with some former 20th group guys. Devin. Devin's mom's birthday and we were in Boca. They have this like sandbar kind of like inlet. And the water was so clear in this part of it. And it was cold. Cold. It was cool, like, refreshing water. It was only like 4ft deep. It was an awesome, awesome place to hang out. There's a bunch of other boats out there. Anchor.
Brent
I've always wanted to live there.
Tyler
Oh, man, let me tell you, hanging out in South Florida. Not Miami.
Brent
That's.
Tyler
That's not. But like the Fort Lauderdale. Yeah. Like area. West Palm. Like, man, that's. That's just. That's good. Like down to earth. Like beach. Beach people like scene. I. I love it. I love it down there.
Drew
Nate Carter. 50 bucks. Thank you for the love, man. Really, really appreciate it.
Brent
Monster driving a rocket. I love it.
Drew
Jay Fredericks says Ozzy and oh, let me Hellraiser for outro song. 20 bucks. Hellraiser.
Brent
That's how it sounds. Just like that's my Lemmy's voice.
Drew
They're gonna get you to sing the rest of the song. You keep it up. Yo been bamboozled, says Drew. When are you doing the Revelations episode? Also, why does Tyler look like a B movie action hero and Brent looks like an Arabian Santa?
Tyler
Just back to you, Don. You started this.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
He says that guy chose violence negativity. Because you did. Because you did.
Don
Sorry, not sorry.
Brent
What does Don look like?
Drew
Yeah. Nothing.
Tyler
Yeah, the guy who started all this hate ball cap. Yeah.
Drew
Too much respect.
Tyler
Skates by it.
Drew
Nate Carter back in says marine infantry now arng medevac crew chief.
Tyler
Nice.
Drew
Arrived Syria September of 2016. Was on Scott d mission that Thanksgiving. Did you know him, Brett?
Tyler
I know exactly what you're talking about, but vaguely like not good friends. But yeah, I'm aware. And I was there. I was there for that Loaf up.
Drew
Says who wins a blindfolded TK with a sack full of nades or bunt after a bottle of FRCC bourbon.
Brent
Love from Australia ran after a himself.
Tyler
No, you won't. You. You won't see me drinking a. A handle of bourbon. A couple shots of bourbons about. About my limit. I keep it. I keep it pretty low key.
Drew
See, Rick Rasta says simple answer unless Hulk Hogan dies. Simple answer to the racial makeup question. A lot of us dark green blue soldiers can't swim that well. Lol. Except for us from south Florida. Just being honest. Shout out to the boys.
Brent
Well, I learned this on the episode. I don't remember who it was, but I asked you, Brent. Oh God. Who was it? But it was ended up being the swim test. Getting rid of it was a real thing.
Tyler
Yeah, well, kind of. Let's see. They. Did you hear about this? About the swim test for selection is they got rid of it as an initial gate because they. Because they. Because it was racist like. But here's what we're gonna do. We're not going to get rid of it. We're gonna. It. It's not a must pass event now, but at some point before the Q course is over, you will do a.
Don
50 meter like classified as a weak swimmer.
Tyler
Right.
Don
Did they give you give them lessons?
Tyler
Well, I don't, but here's right. So here. So we'll. We'll. We'll teach them how to swim and send them to the dive team and we'll trade them up. Here's the problem I have with that. You are told by your recruiter what the must pass events are. So if you already didn't show up prepared and didn't go find someone to help you swim, everyone knows a friend that can teach you how to swim. Then you're already not made of the right material to do this job 100%. If you show up unprepared, then we have to teach you. That's not how a Green Beret was going to be successful. It's right. It ain't fair. Life ain't fair. That's right. Life ain't fair. Not everyone deserves to wear that funny green hat.
Don
You're already had been in the army for a while. There's a pool on every installation. There's somebody there that teaches people how to swim.
Tyler
That's right. There's a YMCA in every city. You just got to want it. So you've already proved you don't want it.
Drew
John Todd says, did you guys train in trench warfare like Ukraine in World War I? Train with a bayonet at all and its current place in today's battlefield?
Tyler
Go ahead, Don.
Drew
Yeah, since he fought, we all know.
Don
What makes the grass grow.
Brent
That's right.
Tyler
Blood.
Don
Enemy blood.
Tyler
That's right.
Don
Lots of it.
Tyler
The, like basic training. They. They still do the bayonet. Would you go through basic 2007? Okay, so you'd have been the, the, the, the most current basic trading. The most recent. And they're never getting rid of that. This is a staple in it.
Don
Yeah.
Tyler
Why would they. But after basic, did you, did you ever see a bayonet again after basic?
Brent
Yes, we, we had to put them on. We had a pass and review from President Bush or.
Tyler
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Brent
Bush for parades.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
And they made us put them on our weapon.
Tyler
Yeah. Yeah. It's funny, that's actually a really good question because they. Everyone has to do it in basic training and at least me. And if it wasn't for that parade. Never seen a bayonet the rest of my career.
Brent
And it was scary because guys would pass out and they had bayonets.
Tyler
Oh, now you got bayonets everywhere. But the last about that is at current place in today's battlefield. That's a damn good. That's a damn good question.
Brent
Could you imagine if you told this generation Don Banette.
Tyler
Yeah, fix. Yeah.
Brent
You'd be a psychopath.
Tyler
The hell house. Yeah, remember that one?
Brent
All right, keep going. Super chats. No one can hear what he's saying.
Drew
Okay.
Don
Yeah, nobody cares, man.
Drew
Let's see. JC hero says rip Sharkies.
Don
Yeah.
Drew
Because they closed out. Cascade Explorer says just for good measure. War pigs, 10 more bucks. Zulu whiskey says, if you're fired from the Delta Force, even for a gay reason, like a dui, are you also no png?
Tyler
Absolutely not. Two very, very different things. You could. You can be fired from the. I've seen it. You have people fight. Like, you can get fired from Delta Force and everyone wish you weren't like, oh, like. But like, because it's a stupid reason you can. PNG is a whole. That's a whole nother level. Traditionally speaking, if you get png, you can. You can get it for as easy as saying the wrong thing on a podcast. So why I'm not png, I don't know. But saying something really stupid on a immediate png. But. But if. You'd have to say something pretty dumb. But the.
Brent
I won't clip it.
Tyler
Yeah, but like. But before this podcast era, like, if. If you got PNG'd from the unit, like, outside of doing something public, you done messed up. You done messed up. You did something serious.
Drew
That one. Clark says you guys are bad arse. I found your channel when I was deployed and was absolutely floored with the Marcus Luttrell video. Down with Kennedy. Stay up, Kings.
Brent
As. Were we floored by that?
Tyler
Yeah, we were too.
Brent
Hey, Drew.
Drew
Yeah, buddy.
Brent
You run those last two sponsors of the night? Guys that keep the lights on. We're gonna take a break, go pee, get some more drinks. We'll be back.
Tyler
Hey, guys, I want to introduce our latest sponsor, brother. The Blades. They're made for cops and first responders by cops. They make it the way they do because they know what the job means. Everything is handmade or machined in the usa. Their blades are made to be used and abused because they have some of the best super Seals offered. With the use of super Seals, general care is limited. You can use it and forget about it without the fear of rusting something. First responders are good at. Lifetime warranties come with every blade that cover pretty much anything other than losing your blade or using it to perform outlandish tasks they would usually use use the blade for probably like using it as a screwdriver. Something we've all done. They have a lifetime sharpening. You only pay one way shipping. If you want to head over to their custom page, your imagination is their limitation. They'll try anything. Once they've outfitted numerous customized blades, lasering color schemes and and sheath attachments, head on over to and get you one. And by the, by the way, I'm not a customer.
Drew
Yeah, we're the king of audio issues.
Tyler
Every day with me and I wouldn't, wouldn't be talking about them if I did my trust.
Drew
All right.
Tyler
Serakote is what we are known for, but we do a lot more. How Arms is a disabled veteran owned business specializing in custom firearm creation and gunsmithing. Richard Howe, the company's founder, was a two tour army combat veteran of the Afghanistan conflict. After his service, Richard earned his degree in marketing and founded Howell Arms. Using both the skills from his time in the army and his college degree. Richard's goal for How Arms is to redesign and customize firearms that are both reliable and combat proven. Our entire team is comprised solely of disabled veterans or family members. This is not a self feature but a choice to help other veterans transition into civilian life with a purpose and support network.
Don
I didn't think so until now, but I mean having a moral compass compared to Tim Kennedy, I don't think that's really saying it.
Tyler
That's news to me.
Brent
True. Hey, do you know what button to push to get us back on? Because the commercials are done now. It's just black. Oh, there you go.
Drew
That's because the commercial's over.
Tyler
Right?
Drew
Hopefully they heard it.
Tyler
We, we should, we should, we should do that one time and just have. We should do that one time and just have like three of the, three of the random guests just come back when the, when the cameras come back on and just act like nothing happened and just have them. And just have them running. Yeah, yeah. You sit over on the couch. Yeah. And let's go sit on the couch.
Don
Brett had to leave. It's Sam here sitting in.
Drew
Oh, see, not heard. Yeah, well, if I turn off the mics then the thing doesn't play well. We've got some issues. I don't even know if you can hear me now. I know you can hear me.
Tyler
I can hear you.
Drew
I don't know.
Tyler
Can you hear me now?
Drew
I don't know can you guys hear me? I don't know. Say something.
Brent
Check one, two.
Don
Hello.
Tyler
Well, it seems like the problem is they can hear us too. Well, all the time. They can't hear us. I believe the mics work.
Don
Okay, since we hear you, this is hot Mic over.
Tyler
Thank you. Unlisted.
Don
Thank you, guys.
Drew
All right.
Tyler
Why they stick around for this?
Brent
Joe Saunders says question.
Don
Coming back for more.
Brent
If I showed up at your door like an anti hero refugee and brought bourbon, would I be allowed to just sit in the studio audience?
Drew
Only if you know how to fix audio issues.
Tyler
Only if you bring FRCC bourbon.
Brent
Yeah, and a lot of people hit us up, but we give our address away when you're a couple days out. And I had somebody hit me up and asked for the address, and they were coming in December, and I was like, hey, just hit me up when you're close to getting here and I'll give you the address.
Tyler
That's. That's Tyler's copy. That's how comp. Background.
Brent
It gives you. It gives you less. If you were a terrorist and wanted to hurt us, it gives you less time to plan.
Don
Or if the terrorists get a hold of you and try to.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Extract information.
Don
Information out of you.
Tyler
Where are the anti hero guys?
Brent
Yeah, I know how to get there.
Drew
Haywood says hazmat listening at the firehouse. Love the show. No homo. Throw me in for War Pig. 20 more bucks. Justin Carling, a hundred bucks. Thank you, brother. For Hulk Hogan. The ultimate Florida man. Real American. $100 for real American. Thanks for the feedback.
Brent
I think we'll be playing three songs tonight.
Tyler
Well, it's. It's.
Don
Why not?
Brent
We got war.
Tyler
That's right. That's right. It is a real American. Yeah, they're. They've all met the threshold for it. So. Yeah.
Drew
Thanks for the feedback. Fully Auto is cool for the YouTube vids. Also for my second favorite, Tucker in front of the camera. Love you, CAG Daddy.
Tyler
Thank you, Justin. Thanks for the donation. Thanks for the support, brother.
Drew
Break the Destroyer says, how am I supposed to order FRCC booze when you don't ship to my freaking state?
Tyler
That's. That is. That is a. That is a good. Good question. And let me address that just real quick. I think I can find.
Drew
I tried to get his state in the chats, but he never saw mine.
Tyler
Yeah, I think I can get this fast enough. So the laws of bourbon is at. Or alcohol is crazy. Our online distributor can just. Can distribute to 44, 42 states. Here are the states that they cannot ship To Utah, Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Arkansas, Kentucky of all places and New Hampshire. That's. That's an eclectic group of states that won't that. That that have strict online like laws.
Drew
They got powerful liquor.
Tyler
Alabama. You telling me Alabama won't let me ship you bourbon? Are you kidding? Mississippi. So yeah they don't want the competition. So of those Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky are so are a surprise to me. That's crazy. It's time for a revolt boys.
Drew
Again good timber says sorry boys I'm poor thoughts on a 30 year old reinstating and going recon prior 03118 years left because of vax mandate.
Tyler
Good for you.
Drew
And now they'll let me back in.
Tyler
Hell yeah. 30 years old. I went to Delta Force selection at 30 years old. You're in your prime.
Don
Yeah, I was about 30 when I went to SFAS.
Tyler
There you go. Yeah you're in your prime at 30. You really are. Yeah, I do. I think I was in the best shape of my life at 30. I think that's the that. Hell yeah.
Drew
Go for it and get yourself 20 off.
Tyler
Magnuson was a real piece of crap at 30. As if changed. Yeah. Yeah. No change. Yeah.
Brent
That's when I started being a piece.
Don
Of crap when it all started.
Tyler
But hey it's that. That was a half joke. But it's. But it's not at 30. Your testosterone levels even with that are going down and and as we've already covered it like generation generationally like they were going down with time. Be sure to get go to hbtrt get your levels checked out and make sure you give yourself the best opportunity that that you have at this, at this age. Yeah. Because yeah the other. The younger guys have an advantage of on you.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
Take it away from them and, and go out there and kick their ass.
Brent
Hero Hero. 20 off every single month. HP-TRT.com Yep.
Drew
SF tactician says for everyone in the room. You're clearing a room in Afghanistan and find a fist sized diamond. However, the only way to get it back to the US is to butt smuggle it through customs.
Tyler
All right.
Drew
What are you doing?
Tyler
Although we said no gay stuff, I'm going to take exception to this because this is just valuable. This is. Yeah, this is valuable. Valuable. They call it gay for pay fist size diamond. How that's it? Well here's the problem with that. Here's the problem with that. The smaller it is, the least valuable it is. So the bigger it is like the risk and reward is there. You know, so you Want as painful as is. You want a bigger diamond.
Brent
You're. You're with a team, though. So who's doing it? Because if you smuggle a diamond up your butt, are you gonna share the.
Tyler
No.
Don
Well, it doesn't say anything about. It doesn't.
Tyler
It doesn't say anything about.
Don
Did he didn't say anything about a team clearing it.
Brent
We're clearing a room.
Tyler
That's right. You're doing a Rob o' Neill special. You find yourself clearing a room.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
And. Yeah. Oh, gosh. It has to be worth so much.
Don
Then you gotta give him a cut.
Brent
Yeah. Or he'll rat you out.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
So anybody there?
Tyler
Here's the problem. I hate to say I'm not doing it. And it only has to do with this. Like, you can't walk normal and like nothing happened with that. So it's going to cause red flags. And it doesn't matter how. How much it's worth. If you can't get away with it, it's worth nothing and you lose your career.
Brent
What if there was no risk of getting caught? Would you stuff it up your butt?
Tyler
I choose C. There's no risk.
Don
I do something easier.
Tyler
Yeah, I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't believe that's possible. I don't believe it's possible. So I'm gonna have to say. It's gonna be painful to say no. It'd be painful to say yes, but I'm not gonna do it.
Brent
Brett, we need you to do this.
Tyler
Trust me, I want to. I want to, but I just don't. I don't see it possible.
Drew
Herbal Warrior says, hey, fellas. Love the podcast. I think for Tim Scambo Kennedy to clear the slate is to come on Anti Hero and address all his lies, then cough up all the money he made from his bullshite and donate it to frcc.
Brent
Yeah.
Drew
This guy's got all kinds of good ideas.
Don
Talk about things that'll never happen.
Tyler
Things that'll ever happen for 600. Alex.
Brent
Yeah. Thanks for the 50 bucks.
Tyler
That man.
Brent
That's awesome. Here's a. What a 50 mean?
Tyler
Here's. Here's a question. Here's. Here's a question. Tyler. And obviously. And you don. Because you're Green Beret. Like it directly matters to you if someone makes money like this, you know, off of. Off of lies and. And being fraudulent. Is an apology enough or do they have to give the money back or. Because it's hard to tell, like, how much. Matt. And be like, hey, all this Money was made the wrong way. So here is a sizable donation. Because I shouldn't. I shouldn't have had so much money to begin with. There's probably a better way to phrase that, but.
Don
Yeah, I know what you're trying to say, but.
Tyler
You know, I'm trying to say, like. But it.
Don
I think it would be so hard to quantify that. Like you said, you know, it is.
Tyler
It is hard to quantify. That's. That's why I was just like a random, like, sizable. No nation to put action. Because sometimes actions speak louder than words does. Is it require? Is it required socially? Do you think it's a nicety? Is it required? What do you. What do you think about that?
Brent
I think he's.
Tyler
He has a point. He has a point.
Brent
Such a financial hit already. He doesn't have any money to do.
Tyler
He's already spent it, so there's nothing to donate.
Brent
You gotta look. Yeah. If you have a lifestyle. I mean, granted, he's got active duty pay or National Guard active pay. He's got money coming in, but, you know, his lifestyle is based off of all the sponsors and the sheepdog response and stuff. Does sheepdog response have any. Did they close down? No, still running.
Tyler
I'm sure. I'm sure there's less people going through sheepdog these days than there were.
Brent
They get a lot of one on one time, though.
Tyler
Yeah. You're welcome.
Brent
Just me and you.
Tyler
Yeah. Don, what do you think?
Don
I don't know. I mean, I would. I'm surprised if some of those sponsors might look at some of this as a breach of contract or something like that.
Tyler
There's another. Oh, there's a good avenue.
Drew
Hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Tyler
At least. At least hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Yeah.
Brent
You think Millions.
Tyler
Between speaking engagements, which this is tied into, that and sponsorship and. Yeah.
Don
You're talking kind of about just restitution. Like, I'm so sorry as like.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
Like a painful apology.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
I mean, would it be a. Would it be a good start to a gesture?
Tyler
Yeah. Yeah.
Don
Making it a requirement, you know, like a fine. You know, like, it's like almost like.
Tyler
A self imposed fine.
Brent
Yeah.
Don
You know, I mean, self imposed is one thing. You know, if he's. You're, you know, it's like the old saying, you know, punishable by fine means legal for a fee.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
You know.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
So it's like if they make you do it.
Tyler
Yeah.
Don
Are you really sorry if you do it out of the generosity of your heart? And now that we brought it up on the show. It's no longer, you know, his idea.
Tyler
I'm going to go as far to say as I don't believe that's necessary but. But not. Not I'm looking at to that light. I think it'd be nice put your money. That's right. Yeah.
Drew
What about his clearance?
Tyler
His clearance has to go. You cannot have a clearance to someone that you cannot that with no integrity, no morals.
Brent
How do you do the Afghanistan stuff with a clearance? All right. Isn't that a no?
Tyler
No, we'll cover that next week.
Brent
Okay.
Drew
All right. John Todd says have you tried the Indonesian wild? Oh, it's kivit or civet coffee. Civet coffee made from partially digested coffee cherries which has been eaten and defecated by the civet. Looks like a cat.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Yeah. In New York City. Costs 500 a cup. It's cat shite coffee.
Tyler
Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about for sure. That is a real thing. That is a thing.
Brent
It's like wano but the end of.
Tyler
It saying how much it costs cost a cup of coffee will I'm sure answer why no one in here. I don't want to speak all you guys like, you know, maybe you guys are bougier than I thought but. Which answers why no one in this room has had that cup of coffee.
Brent
Yeah. That's insane.
Don
Way better things to do with 500 bucks.
Tyler
Pretty much anything else makes you wonder.
Drew
About the color of that coffee.
Tyler
All right.
Drew
Papa Penguin pontificate says most SWAT units don't train enough or get funded enough for the basic skills.
Tyler
That's an unfortunate fact.
Drew
Some jurisdictions don't even like flashbangs. Because of the baby incident in Georgia.
Brent
Yep.
Drew
Nfw. Boom. Entry allowed most places.
Tyler
Yes. That. That's why most flashbangs the. They'll still use them, but if they do, it's usually the flashbang on a stick. Yeah. Because that'll ensure that it can't. Yeah. It can't start a fire. It can't hurt a baby. Can't hurt anyone. So they'll put us put it on a stick, smash a window and had it have it explode high up in the air.
Drew
Brandon Bailey says married one of those scad girls. That was a mistake. I was 3id though.
Tyler
Live and learn.
Brent
Yep.
Don
I bet it was fun while it lasted though.
Tyler
Is right. That's right.
Drew
Unlisted Brent opinion on.
Tyler
That'S a proud bunch. I don't mean that in a bad way. I love what a unit is. Is prideful and backs it Up. And they. And they do. The Bo Burgdoll thing was. Was horrible. Like. Like, he's. He's a piece of crap for walking off base. But guess what, man? The guy spent, like, five years in Taliban control. Tortured. He's mentally messed up the rest of his life. I know. People really. Last week was, like.
Don
Had, like.
Brent
Yeah. Five times last week.
Tyler
He got brought up a lot.
Brent
Randomly thought he was in the news.
Tyler
Yeah. But guess what? Everyone. Everyone wants. Wants some, like, some sort of, like, extra punishment. And I get it. I get it. My personal opinion. Time serves.
Brent
Wait, so you don't think. You don't count it as treason for leaving. For deserting?
Tyler
All right, so I'd have to look better at the definition of treason. Like, the answer. So now I got to give you, like, an answer of what I believe about it. That's desertion. You're right. So treason to me would be like, you left and you joined the enemy. There's treason.
Drew
Yeah.
Tyler
Yeah. I mean, but no, just deserter. He's a deserter. And they do deserve to be punished. But. But that's why I go back to. And he was punished how? Kind of punished him by the Taliban. Punished the hell out of that dude for five years.
Brent
Smuggle this diamond.
Don
That's your smuggle buddy right there?
Tyler
Yeah, that's your smuggle buddy.
Brent
You think? Never mind.
Tyler
Okay, Wyatt.
Drew
Darrell says explosives would make clearing calls easier. Fire needs lift assist, question mark. VIP it.
Tyler
Bip it. Bip it.
Drew
Song. Real American. Also, can we get a Spotify gym playlist?
Tyler
We do need to get up.
Drew
So real American.
Tyler
Solid, like, connected playlist.
Brent
Anti hero playlist.
Don
Yeah, for sure.
Drew
What's fire needs lift assist, question mark? Bibbit?
Brent
No idea.
Tyler
Fire needs explosive. Would make clearing calls easier. Yeah. Fire needs lift assist.
Drew
I don't know.
Tyler
Dang it. Oh, no.
Don
You're gonna have to use more plain English.
Tyler
Yeah, he's saying all the right things. I mean, he knows what he's talking about. I just have. Yeah, but we don't. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Drew
Too short on the shorthand.
Tyler
Yeah, too short of the short.
Drew
Anders says Boca Raton guy again, responding to that invitation. I'd love to come on the show. I'll actually be in Orlando at the parks in September. Let's make it happen. Time and place.
Tyler
There you go. We'll see you then.
Brent
Yeah. Hit email us the antihero podcast, Gmail dot com.
Drew
This is Goon 91. This is our guy up there. This is my dad.
Tyler
Generational.
Drew
He says my dad was 375from 88 to 98 and was in Mogadishu, so I can't ever downplay them too much.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
But side note, before I went regiment, I was in seventh and loved working with you Green Berets. RIP Mike.
Tyler
Mike Goble. Another guy that mentioned in Tim Kennedy's book. 7th GSB is 7th Group Support Battalion. He's a support guy for special Forces, where he went over to Ranger Battalion.
Don
So I was in 375 at the same time as your dad, so.
Tyler
Yeah, check that out.
Don
We know each other.
Tyler
Hell, yeah.
Drew
Papa Penguin pontificate says the only Thing worse than TK's moral compass is tonight's audio.
Tyler
Even still.
Drew
What are you talking about? This is the best we've ever done.
Tyler
We've done worse. That's for sure. We've done episodes that had no audio, so we've done worse. Oh, my gosh.
Drew
All right, Joe Saunders. Yippee Kayes back in again. Kentucky won't let you ship bourbon. I feel a riot might be coming on. Joking.
Tyler
No joking.
Brent
All right.
Drew
A power Hightower. Thank you very much. 10 bucks right at the end of the chats here in a couple more. All right. Haven't seen him all night. In light of this diamond in arse discussion, Brent's torn taint story is sounding awfully suspicious.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah, the two. Two separate. Two separate incidents.
Drew
TG Paris says Colonel Hackworth's book should be mandatory.
Tyler
Feeling that way after. After reading that, for sure.
Drew
That's it.
Tyler
All right. So mandatory. In honor of Hulk Hogan, Let me tell you what should be mandatory. Watching. And I learned a ton about Hulk Hogan. Joe Rogan experiences podcast with Hulk Hogan.
Brent
Good.
Tyler
He's great. He sits down for three hours and talks about his backstory. He was in a band. And he talks about his first, like, kind of interview as. As a wrestler with his other, like, pro wrestler who breaks his leg, like, in the. Of sorts, like the. The. The mock wrestling, if you want to.
Brent
Call it, like, intentionally wrestling, is mock.
Tyler
Yeah. Breaks his leg. He goes back home to his dad with a broken leg, and his dad beats him up and is like, how dare you ever let another grown man break your leg? And so he recovers from it, goes back and. And does better, and that's what kind of starts his wrestling career. But the whole podcast is crazy because he was in wrestling, as, you know, back when wrestling was very regional and it wasn't a national thing. And so very territorial, almost redneck mob, like. And so he has crazy stories of the old days and talks about the whole transition of when it became like a national, huge popular thing. Just a great podcast. You want to learn. You want to know something about Hulk Hogan? Go watch that podcast.
Brent
The MC Man Netflix series, too, is.
Tyler
I started watching that. I started. I have not finished watching.
Brent
It was filmed. 95 of it was filmed before his scandal came out where he had to resign. And it's still bad. Yeah.
Tyler
Oh, it. Gosh, it is.
Drew
So you guys got any. You guys got any opinion on the news this week about the DOJ coming? You know about the documents revealed on the Russia thing in 2016 being fabricated by the Obama administration?
Tyler
So it was. Well, so to clear that up real quick, we knew it was fabricated by the Steele dossier, and Hillary Clinton campaign essentially financed it. So it was completely originated by Hillary Clinton. Here's the problem. The Obama administration looked into it as they should, to be honest with you. But here's where they went awry. When the Obama administration knew for a fact that it was fake, they should have said, hey, this is fake, and something should have been done about it. I can't think about anything more illegal. Europe's. If you're upset about Russia tainting an election, how about a stop to it? Yeah, how. How about a presidential candidate tainting an election by paying for false information and putting out there like. Like it was. Like it was real. How is that okay? And instead of telling the truth, they doubled down on it and they started talking about how real the Russia interference on this election was, even though they knew it was false.
Brent
Yep.
Tyler
I mean, that's. That's crazy. Yeah, that really is crazy.
Brent
Doesn't surprise me, though.
Tyler
I know. And you guys can flame me all you want for this. I'm not an Obama supporter. But he's a likable guy. The guy's. The dude's a likable guy. I'd probably. I might even have a beer with. With the guy. I sure as hell I'd have a beer with Bill Clinton. Old school Bill Clinton. I would. But then, like, you hear things like that. You're like, you know what? Nope. You're just like the rest of them. You just. You're just better. You're just better at putting on a facade than other people. Yeah, you're just smooth, but you're a turd like the rest of it. Gosh, that it does. Like, there's no room in American politics for that. There. Like, there isn't. The American people deserve better.
Brent
I don't know. Eddie Gallagher blew my mind when he said, you know, he knows people in D.C. and all that. And he's like, it's just a nasty pit of backstabbing and parties with drugs and hookers. And he's like, you, you want to be the guy that goes and changes that, but you'll get nothing done because you don't make deals with all these people and they don't bring you in, you know, gross.
Tyler
How do we fix it? Is it, is it an animal that's too big to be fixed? That's, that's an honest question. I don't know. And I hate saying there's not an answer.
Don
I might have answers, but we probably can't talk about them here.
Brent
Yeah, the FBI has entered the chat.
Tyler
You and George Washington would have the same answer. That's right. So the easy answer for that, which is, I hate to say, an impossible answer they have, like they need to police themselves, but hold on, let me. And he said, well, they're not going to police themselves. How about this? At the end of the day, we do believe elections are, elections are real. And you know, elections. I mean, not, apparently not all. I don't believe, I don't believe Biden beat Trump. But that's, that's, that's a one off national election.
Brent
That is. And it's a crazy.
Tyler
Local elections are real and your vote matters. Vote in people that won't go with the status quo like we, It's a long term plan and you may not be happy about that.
Brent
Well, teacher. So you got to teach your kids that.
Tyler
Yeah, exactly. So who puts these, who puts these dirt bags in power? We do. So who's actually at fault for this? I mean, you're not going to like me spinning this, but it's true, we're at fault for this. So when, so if someone, you know, does baffle you with bs, you're like, well, that's not the guy. Well, good. He's a one term person. Get him out. Let's put other people in there, drain the swamp. So he says, you got a problem with the school system, Drew? You got an answer for that? Because something tells me do. Because I do. And I bet it's the same answer.
Drew
School them like they did in early America at your house, at home.
Tyler
It doesn't matter what the school teaches them. Your kids do, how they were raised. And we have parents and families that aren't involved in their kids life and won't teach their, their kids what's right from wrong. They, they allow the school system to instill morals and to instill thought process and ideas. Into them without checking them. There's nothing the school system to do that. That good parents can't undo. So he said, but the problem is the parents now were taught by the school, and so they're gonna, you know, continue until the circle continues. I. That I don't. That I don't believe to some degree, and I'll tell you why. And Tyler, tell me if you think I'm right about this. Yes, that's true to a point. But, you know, what's the saying? Like, you're. If you're. If you're. If you're not a. If you're not a Liberal in your 20s, it's because you have no spine. But if you're not a conservative and you're in your 30s and you have no brain, like, that doesn't last forever. People eventually hit the real world and they find out what real is like, and they change.
Brent
Yeah. I think, though, that the reason why youth is liberal in their mindset is because they're told that they're supposed to be, and then common sense kicks in. So if they're never told that they're supposed to be like that and they're raised the way their parents taught them to be raised, they might even be able to health. Healthily skip that step.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Yeah. Gosh.
Tyler
Can't even forget his name. Kirk. The guy goes and does all the. The school. Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk. Thank you. In a weird way, I think social media is actually taken and the youth is taking a little bit of a turn.
Don
There's a pendulum swing.
Tyler
There's a pendulum swing. There's guys like Charlie Kirk that are. That are. That are professionally and politely challenging the status quo and saying, well, let me debate you, and let's have an honest conversation about that. And on the honest conversation side, conservatism always wins. And I think they are changing people's opinion of mine. And it's hitting YouTube channels and they're getting wild views, man. Yeah, there's only one Charlie Kirk, unfortunately. That dude. He's good. He's good. He does. But, yeah, there needs to be more of them.
Brent
We kind of saw it when those. Those guys from South Carolina, I think, went. Protected the flag from being torn down.
Tyler
Yes, I believe it was North Carolina.
Brent
North Carolina.
Tyler
Yeah, that's right. They went. Exactly.
Brent
And you know. Yeah, that was.
Tyler
The pendulum is. There's. If you're looking for reasons to believe the pendulum is swinging. It's. It's out there. It's out there.
Don
We just have to celebrate that more.
Tyler
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. And as we grow, like we talked about it, and now you're not a cop anymore, so you have. You have some more freedom of movement. Like, when things like that happens, we need to pack up the studio and help go and help go celebrate it.
Brent
Yeah. The problem is those things happen quick. They're in use, and they're done quick.
Tyler
Yeah, for sure.
Brent
Hey, we're going mobile, though. We've. We've got the. We've got the setup to now go if we need to go somewhere, have a live show.
Don
Heck, yeah.
Tyler
Did you get. Did you get all ordered up? Yeah. Drew, you figure it out yet?
Drew
Figure what out?
Tyler
He's. He's a little jaded from tonight. Tonight. We'll talk about it later. We'll talk about later. Not tonight. We're going simple when we go.
Drew
Yeah, we'll have a different. There'll be a mobile producer. It won't be me. Brody Martin says regarding explosives used by police in 2016, Dallas PD&H. Used a robot buddy delivering explosives.
Brent
Killed that dude.
Drew
Present. Present for that POS who ambushed for teen cops. God bless y'. All. And voting for Hulk Hogan. Walk outside.
Tyler
All right.
Drew
50 bucks.
Tyler
Sure.
Don
Oh, yeah. I got a place.
Drew
William Osborne says, hey, guys. Hope y' all are doing well. Know y', all, like, military history. Have y' all ever thought about doing an episode on ancient military tactics, I. E. Hannibal's tactics against Rome?
Tyler
Oh, I do. I love that idea. I actually haven't thought about it, but that. That. That is a. I. I don. Was there. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we haven't come in as an eyewitness.
Don
We could talk about the Phalanx.
Tyler
Pros and cons and the trebuchets. They have tribute. Yeah.
Drew
Oh, yeah.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Hey, what's up? What was that? What? That thing that we still have not found out how. It was a Greek fire where it could, like, burn on, like, napalm. Like somebody perfected way back in the ancient times. It was like napalm fire, but it wasn't napalm.
Don
It was like naphtha or something.
Brent
Yeah, we've never.
Tyler
No.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
I don't know that.
Brent
I wish I had not said that without research.
Tyler
Anybody? Anybody? Welcome to my life.
Brent
Hey, Drew, can you check the emails I sent a. A link. We gotta watch one Hogan clip before the night's over with.
Don
Hell yeah, brother.
Brent
Oh.
Tyler
If. If we. We'd have been a little bit more prepared for this podcast. We had a lot of ideas, but doing the TK episode for three hours before this did did not help. Man. I. I really wish we'd. Yeah. That. That we were gonna have to talk. Someone was gonna have to talk in a Hulk Hogan voice the whole time. And someone was gonna have to shake and. And stutter like Ozzy the whole time. Should have. Should have done it. Should have done it. Yeah.
Brent
We didn't have a lot of time. I don't. I think Party Party City's probably sold out of.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
All right, we're gonna try this. I'm gonna have no idea what the audio is going to do.
Tyler
Okay, here we go. Look at him.
Brent
This is when he turns bad guy.
Drew
Radiant.
Tyler
Someone described Hulk Hogan as a man with skin like a hot dog and hair like a Chinese woman. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. That's hilarious.
Drew
Go get him, baby.
Tyler
Come on and get some of this. Now, you know this is when he turns evil.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
You called that in the first five seconds of this clip. The atomic leg drop. No, not on the Macho man virgin. Macho man died of a heart attack while driving. Not from the leg drop. Newest member of the nwo. What the hell is going on? Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? When you're nine years old.
Brent
This is real.
Tyler
It rocks your. It rocks your mind. It rocks your nine year old.
Don
Everybody's got goosebumps right now.
Tyler
Unbelievable. I think what's hilarious is when I was watching the Macho man documentary, they're like, I've been saying all these. He never came out of character. Like Macho Man. Like, eventually believed he would. Like, that became his personality.
Brent
I don't understand how the leg drop.
Tyler
Is as devastating as I know it's right there in the crux of his knee that clearly has a bend in it right now. We are not going to even acknowledge that three count. Now what happens to us? What happens now to witness. Too sweet, baby. Tyler, tell me who the other two guys are.
Brent
Kevin.
Tyler
Red, but he's wearing red and yellow. I could have got it multiple toys, but I actually, actually couldn't. What do we do now?
Brent
You can stop it.
Tyler
I'll tell you what.
Brent
They just get bombarded with trash. Everybody starts throwing stuff.
Tyler
Oh, really?
Brent
So Scott hall, actually, he died.
Tyler
But what did he die from?
Brent
He was all messed up. I think probably heart attack, but he.
Tyler
I'm gonna Google it, and I believe heart attack was a good guess. Yeah, he killed.
Brent
He killed a guy outside of a strip club on Orange Blossom Trail. Here.
Tyler
Oh, no.
Brent
Before he was a wrestler.
Tyler
Oh, really?
Brent
Security guard.
Tyler
Okay.
Brent
Really?
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
When he retired, he used to be able to drink with him.
Brent
Really? Yeah.
Tyler
Vito with Froggers.
Brent
Kevin Nash lives. I don't want to say. He lives in a very small city south of Daytona on the beach.
Tyler
All right, you ready for this real quick, but it's cause of death or did I interrupt you? No. Okay. Scott hall, professional wrestler known as Razor Ramon. Okay. Died due to complications from a hip replacement surgery and specifically three heart attacks. Oh, over. And Three heart attacks over the weekend. He was 63 years old. Three heart attacks in one weekend.
Brent
You tell. I want.
Don
So he survived two heart attacks.
Brent
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It took three heart attacks. Take that guy out.
Tyler
And what do they say? Like, there's a statistic out there. Like, it's. It's use the first heart attack that kills you, and if you survive the first one, the chance of you surviving other ones after that's pretty high.
Brent
But the first one, except for the.
Tyler
Third one, three strikes are out. Generally speaking, I don't think that within that. That, that they don't. They don't quantify, like, three heart attacks in one weekend. Yeah, that's.
Drew
He was iners one night drunk and challenged one of the MMA guys from the training gym down the street to a fight. And everyone was like, no, no, no, no.
Tyler
So he was at froggers, he was drunk, and he challenged a MMA guy to a fight. He was a large Hulk Hogan. 66, right?
Brent
Yeah, he's. Yeah.
Tyler
But, yeah, okay, six, three, six, four. So that'd make him like six, six, six, seven.
Brent
Yeah, he would come out drunk, like Hammer drunk. He would do wrestling matches and they just knew that's who he was.
Tyler
Why are you being so judgy? Sounds like you.
Brent
But that's how good he was.
Tyler
He could still wrestle. Anyone can do it sober. Yeah, that is right. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Rock stars do it all the time. They don't get credit for it. Yeah, that's. That's crazy. Hey, we. We say it all the time. And I guess now that Hulk's dead, generally speaking, it seems like, hey, like, the body's like, get lies. Like, guess what, guy? You can do one or the other. You can do a lot of testosterone or you can do cocaine. You can't do both.
Don
You can't do both.
Tyler
It's like, come on, man.
Brent
Yeah, you can't take painkillers for the pain during the day.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Cocaine before the match.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Alcohol at night.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah. Ric Flair's in the chat and says, I have something to say about that. That's what he has to say. About that.
Brent
He's like the Rolling Stones of wrestling.
Tyler
Oh, my gosh. Could you imagine. Oh, could Getting an all. Like a true no holds bar interview with Ric Flair. Just to tell. Like, just a tell all.
Brent
Let's do it. I've tried. I reached out. I.
Tyler
Well, here.
Brent
The problem is that a lot of people, they're very hard to get a hold of. That's just the hardest thing. I even. So I emailed Kevin Nash because he lives around here to come on. No answer. But I messaged the FBI agent that you talked about and he said, yeah, sure, get a hold of my publicist.
Tyler
Okay.
Brent
All right.
Tyler
All right. Hey. All right, here's what we're gonna do. I know people in. In. In Tampa that see him. I know where he frequents. I want to offer him a limo ride up here from Tampa. From Tampa. It's got to be about the same price as a flight. A limo. We get more limo, Right? That's worth having a podcast with two strippers. That's right. Yeah. We're redneck rich now. I don't. I don't mean to flex, but we are getting a. We are upgrading our trailer from a six foot trailer to like a nine foot.
Brent
Here's the thing about our. Our money literally goes back into this.
Tyler
Spring for the extra axle.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
Do you know the maintenance on two axles on a trailer, Don? Get out of here.
Drew
Four tires, toll cost.
Brent
Yeah. Every time we go to an event, it's like, no, this is my half the trailer. Get out of my half of the trailer.
Tyler
It's ridiculous. We're so. We. We live so poor. People have no idea. Like all your.
Brent
We've never washed the white trailer once.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah. Like when people complain about our. All of our ads, like, come see how we come. Come see how we live.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
We got. Let me show you.
Brent
When we have issues in here, we got to pay an audio engineer like a thousand dollars a day to come fix it for a month and then it breaks again.
Tyler
Yeah, for sure. All right.
Drew
Chris Smith says, can't get FRCC cigars or bourbon in Australia. I'm moving to the u. S. Yeah.
Tyler
Yeah.
Drew
Legally, of course.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
Sharks.
Tyler
That should be.
Brent
Hard.
Drew
Stuck says, did you ever run into. Hear about Russian soft during your contracting days or while in the unit?
Tyler
No. They're like, of course heard about the Wagner group, which is the contracted, like, retired version. But I don't know what the Spetsnaz have done to earn like, their. Their mystique other than the classic, like, if you don't give out information. Like people will fill it. I don't know. Show me the last time the Spetsnats traveled half, you know, half a world away to hit a target.
Don
I mean, they can't even go next door.
Tyler
That was a good Ukraine joke. I mean, that was a solid Ukraine joke.
Don
Stuck in the mud.
Tyler
Yeah, he's right. Yeah. Well, that was a, that was a Wagner group. But yeah, that's. But the, the actual Russian soft. Someone tell me what they've done.
Drew
Well, the BDD, they say that they, they're. They have like 90 within the first year of the war. So their airborne core is just. Absolutely.
Tyler
Yeah, they're the. They have. And here's, here's the thing. We'll never really know like what, what the toll has been taken on Russian troops because they won't accurately report it. They. They've. It's. It is easy to assume and anyone here can, can correct me or say something, but I'm going on a limb here and I've, I've done some research on this randomly. It's easy to assume. They've lost hundreds of thousands of people to this war in this war and this war with the Ukraine. Hundreds of thousands.
Drew
British military Ministry of Defense.
Tyler
Okay.
Drew
Places their casualties dead.
Tyler
So the, so the British. So the. He was. Since we have mic problems.
Drew
Yeah, Repeat it. They can't hear you.
Tyler
Yeah, the, the British basically.
Don
Mod.
Tyler
The mod has estimated. So their, their official estimation. Not just like a newspaper, not a podcaster. Their MOD estimates the dead Russian casualty count at a quarter million. Holy. Yes.
Drew
When they tried to take the airport, they quite literally lost entire plane.
Tyler
Yeah. Yeah. They didn't do a good job taking back some Ukraine and airport or taking some Ukraine. They took some heavy tolls on that. Here's some things that, that aren't that's reported, but this doesn't get picked up. It's been going on so long, like it's. I think there's some, some fatigue with the Ukrainian war. Russia emptied out prisons to go fight this war and they gave them the most janky World War II type equipment. And we know this because Ukraine has been in their trenches and they've seen like this equipment and these 1942 guns. And what it's coming from is a. Russia is putting prisoners on the front line and arming them. Being like, well, you could rot in a Russian prison or you can go fight for the motherland. And those guys don't want to fight or aren't trained to fight and can't fight. So some of those numbers are. Are bloated. Not that the numbers aren't real, but like, the reason behind the numbers because they put untrained prisoners on the front line as well. To be like. Well, better you than. Than. Than. Than our first string military.
Don
Yeah, I mean, that's one way to solve your overcrowding problem.
Drew
They're saving money. Coming.
Tyler
They're saving. Yeah, yeah.
Brent
You ever seen that movie Enemy at the Gates?
Don
Yeah, I've.
Tyler
No.
Brent
It's the Russian sniper versus the German sniper.
Tyler
There you go. Okay.
Don
Yeah.
Brent
Yeah. And in that. In the opening scene, it was Stalingrad.
Don
I think y. Stalingrad.
Brent
And they were like the. The. The general. Not the generals, but the officers. The commanding officers were telling the Russians, if you retreat, we're going to shoot you. So you either take the bullets from the front or we're going to.
Tyler
Bullets in the back.
Drew
Goon. 91 says, yeah, I seen this. Go. 91 back in again.
Tyler
Go.
Drew
Yeah, I seen where Timmy put Mikey in his book, then tried to use him for his lies as a defense. It drove me up the wall. Mikey was a solid man. It was a pleasure working with him.
Tyler
Yeah. You get it. Thank you, Goon. You're absolutely right. Thank you for. Thank you for mentioning that, Steve.
Drew
Thank you for the 99 cents. Appreciate it. Bus Bay says TK has the school of Apogee.
Tyler
I don't know if I'll cover it, so I'll go ahead and cover it here or I cover it twice. You know the School of Apogee is in a lawsuit right now. Right. So.
Brent
But yeah, it had nothing to do with anything that we were talking about. We. We brought that up. And at the time, it was for other reasons. Reasons.
Tyler
Right.
Brent
I remember that kind of vaguely.
Tyler
So. So. So what. What it's for. It's for IP theft and intellectual property theft. So apparently, there's a private school that someone at his private school was affiliated with, and when he moved over, stole some IP from the private school. So if you want to make a stolen valor kind of connection joke there. It's. It's. It's just there in the waiting. So not only does he steal stories from other combat vets, he apparently steals curriculum and IP from other private schools for. For his own. It's like. It's. It's crazy. It's crazy.
Drew
Yo been bamboozled back in again. Says I work for local school district as a custodian. Thank you, brother, for your service. Yeah, dad. Gum. This thing just gonna drive me nuts.
Brent
Dad. Dad.
Drew
G. Oh, I lost the.
Brent
I Don't have that.
Drew
Super chats. Give me a sec. I'll get it back.
Brent
Well, I'll go from the ground up. I keep seeing vids of Russian SSO ambushing Ukrainian convoys. Which is why I ask. I know almost the entire VDV got wiped out early in the war, though.
Tyler
That's. That's what he was talking about.
Brent
Yep, I got it. Oh, you got.
Drew
All right. So. Yo, Bamboozled says I work for a local school district as a custodian. It all starts at home, period. I can give examples, but for all you parents, please make sure you thank a custodian. Well, absolutely, man. Thanks for your service.
Don
Clean up after all that.
Drew
Couldn't do. And I knew some good custodians at Seminole High School, so some. Sometimes they. They talk with kids that other people won't.
Brent
So Mr. Gary hated me.
Tyler
You hear the disdain still in his voice?
Brent
At school once. And he kept it in his janitor closet forever. And everybody was new. Is in there. Like, dude, your skateboard's in there.
Tyler
We see it all the time. Your power parole. Your power parole to skateboard.
Drew
Mine was Mr. Beasley. Isn't that amazing that we remember custodians.
Tyler
Look at that.
Drew
Beasley and he went to high school with our dad.
Tyler
Oh, really?
Drew
Yeah. Brandon Bailey says Macho man and Hulk interview where they were both coked up is amazing. Just how. From how insane it is. Have the link if you want it. War Pigs as well, Marika.
Tyler
Okay.
Drew
War Pigs for another five bucks. Yes. Seen that video a long time ago.
Tyler
Have you? And maybe this is. I don't follow wrestling as close. I don't know if I've seen, like, videos of Hulk Hogan being coked up, but I'm sure he was in and around. I'm sure maybe he had. It's safe to say no.
Brent
You watch it and you're like, damn, dude.
Tyler
Maybe over here in denial. I'm over here in a denial.
Don
We're trying to pay respect.
Drew
It's okay.
Brent
Wrestling went downhill when they took out steroids and cocaine. That was just. What?
Drew
When did they take him out?
Brent
What do you mean they took it out of wrestling?
Drew
When all the boys are still on steroids.
Tyler
No, no, dude.
Brent
Regular sized dudes now.
Tyler
That's why I don't watch, apparently. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right, man. That's where they lost me.
Drew
Brody, are we sure they're dudes? It's 2025. Brody Martin says rip to Thunder Lips. Who's Thunder Lips?
Tyler
Thunder Lips.
Drew
Rip to Thunder Lip. Oh, is that Aussie.
Brent
Oh, Name that was Hogan.
Drew
Yeah. Is that Hogan?
Tyler
Oh, that was Hogan. In the Rocky movie was Thunder. That's the best name they could give him in the movie was Thunder Lips.
Brent
That's weird.
Don
I mean, he was the villain.
Tyler
It makes me think of a Thunder Lips. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's. That's the name I'm giving to a girlfriend that. That broke up to me. Broke up with me. I'm so mad at her. So I'm gonna make sure. Behind your back. Yeah. So I'm gon that IO campaign, like, that's. That's what. I can't.
Brent
Did it. All right. And then he did dumbass ones like Mr. Nanny and. But, yeah, the rest of that one.
Drew
Also. Great episode with Chris Hazar. Me and all the voices in my head are great.
Tyler
Yeah. I just.
Drew
You.
Don
You had Chris.
Tyler
Yeah. Oh, man. You know Chris. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Chris has an hour on the show he was on.
Don
You know, like, Chris is like.
Brent
Yeah.
Don
You had this guy Chris, like Hasenhauer.
Tyler
Yeah, yeah. Podcast. That's cool. You know, he's the battalion pa. That's what I heard. That's so crazy. I love it. I love it.
Drew
All right, last super chat for now says hard stuck. I keep seeing vids of Russian SSO ambushing Ukraine convoys, which is why I ask. I know almost the entire VDV got wiped early in the war, though.
Tyler
All right, it's about that time.
Brent
Is that time. We're gonna do three songs. All right, Three songs.
Tyler
I'm gonna kick it off. Where does Drew get his technical difficulties from?
Drew
We got the same mom.
Tyler
No, it's you. It's you and your Bluetooth.
Brent
No, it's not.
Tyler
Yeah, every week.
Drew
Just regular dudes.
Tyler
I should know better. I. I take partial blame for that.
Brent
Every time you go to turn that thing on, I should know to turn it off.
Tyler
Rick Daringer, sing a song.
Brent
God, that's punk me up. Was this made for Hogan or was this a song before?
Tyler
That's a good question. Help us out. Was this. Was this made for Hogan, or is it a song he picked?
Brent
Let us know in the chat.
Tyler
Magnet. Do your job. You get that chair all by yourself as a reward for doing this. Walking out like this. Oh, this still hives. It's not a great song. It's not. It's not a great song. He makes it great, but. That's right. But he makes it because it's associated. Yeah. Because it's associated, it is now a badass song. Oh, man, I can't believe.
Brent
I probably he probably had ones on standby.
Tyler
I can't believe we're now playing this song like in memory of Hulk Hogan. I've heard it a hundred times.
Brent
He would have been a great anti hero guest.
Tyler
Oh, man.
Drew
Well, the chats say he wrote it. You know, he was in a band.
Tyler
He was in a band. He wrote it. He wrote it.
Brent
He wrote it.
Drew
That's what the chat said.
Tyler
Hold on, hold on. Mag, what do you got? Originally made for the tag team US Express, but after they left, Hogan adopted it. There you go. Now there's some controversy. Now there's some controversy.
Drew
I'm gonna rewrite history. He wrote it.
Tyler
Hey, wait, was this during the Cold War?
Drew
Nobody cares like love.
Tyler
That's why he was so, like American.
Brent
Like that American thing?
Tyler
Probably. Probably. I. I think so. Oh, man. Makes me want to rip my shirt. But I'm going to need some of those like, pre cut things to make it a little bit easier. Yeah, for sure.
Drew
Oh, the chats are saying they were being sarcastic.
Tyler
Oh, well, guess what?
Drew
You know I'm going to read it.
Tyler
Well, guess what? Every time I'm wrong now, that's what I'm gonna say. Oh, oh. I said it could only hold five rounds when it can hold eight. I was being sarcastic. I was being sarcastic. Yeah, that's right. I'm never wrong anymore. I'm just sarcastic. No, the chat probably was being sarcastic actually. Oh, thank you, Drew. Chris Smith. Jimmy Hart wrote it. Now you're messing with us. T Bone just wrote one word, brother, which is exactly how. Yeah, brother, man. Night driveway bay watch. That blew my mind in the most negative way I was referring to. But there's several things that could have. And of course, at Tim Lumberjack, which maybe think of LUMBY for some reason. Lumpy.
Don
Yeah.
Tyler
So, yes, it was during the Cold War. Goon back in. Just to clarify, I'm just a 91B wheeled vehicle mechanic, but have had a great, phenomenal time. My career working with Green Berets and now as a ranger. Hell yeah.
Don
Hell yeah, brother. Thank you, Goon. Wheels got to turn.
Tyler
That's right. They ain't getting to the. They ain't right into the objective without you, brother.
Don
And you ain't getting any very many team guys that can fix that.
Tyler
I mean, sometimes. Sometimes, sometimes.
Don
Especially in 20th grade.
Tyler
Yeah, that's right. Let's. What? Oh, gosh. The. I'm gonna head up over the mountain. Over the mountain. Oh, it's.
Brent
This is. Oh, yeah.
Tyler
Hard right off the bat. Right off the bat. Right off the Bat. You know what you're in for. No need for a soft. Work up to it. Ozzy's like, you know, I'm just gonna hit him in the face right off the bat with these cords. Seth, I think Delta Force C Squadron, Uncle Stinky should get a shout out. What a great guy that. That was for you, Uncle St. Oh, there's a good question from Jackie boy. What's your favorite Tires episode? Usually I have favorite episodes when I start, like, re watching things over and over and tires. I will go re. Watch tires and I'll. I don't have a favorite episode off the top of my head, but I'll.
Brent
I'll.
Tyler
I will have a favorite episode. I will. I will tell you that. What else we got? Greg Zabo, Royal rumble cage match, ladder drops to ropes. I'm sure Tyler, if he was listening, would know what that is. Back to the night drive. Gosh, it's a little small night drive. Watch Baywatch. Thanks. I'm open minded, but these things were. Contradictory isn't the right word. Not enough show left to think he goes. Hogan played bass. I. I don't remember in the episode if he said he played bass for the band, but I do know he played regular guitar as well. And. And if you. And. And it's not a far stretch. If you can play regular guitar, you can play bass and use your vice versa. Not. Not. Yeah, you can. Yeah, you can. Guess what I play. Six trig all day long. I can pick up a bit. It's the same. It's the same chord. Same thing. Play bass, but maybe not the other way around. It's a little bit harder than. I'll give you that. It's a little bit harder the other way around.
Brent
You master.
Tyler
Once you master, there's no open chords and bass.
Brent
Yeah, I think. I think you're right. You can play guitar, you can play.
Tyler
Bass, but not necessarily as easy.
Brent
You have some of the basic fundamentals of hand, eye coordination down.
Tyler
Yeah, Yeah, I agree with you.
Brent
What? Yeah, I taught him Smoke on the Water. I say I taught him. Oh, three.
Tyler
Mark's retired. Don, do you have a current EDC blade? Current EDC blade? Yeah, he said. Let me. Let me check what I got in these pants.
Drew
Emerson.
Tyler
Emerson. There you go. I mean. All right, that's as current as it gets. That's as current as it gets. What do you got, Magnus? Got it, Emerson. Brotherhood Blade's gonna have something to say about that.
Brent
Yeah, we carry Brotherhood Blade.
Tyler
The. Let's see what else we got. Oh, W. Devil ZM71C. Brent, mark my bottle to a 10. Oh, lots of. I'll probably forget that, but. But thank you. Thank you so much. Thanks so much for. For supporting our offer on that. Timber. Umber Jacks. I was a hookah maniac. And a. And a holster, I think meant holster. Now I am the real Hawk. I don't know what to say about that. Sometimes reading these random chats or. It's a crapshoot. Every bass is a guitar. But not every guitar is a bass.
Brent
That's true. Damn. That's a good point.
Tyler
Because every bass. Bass is a guitar. Not every guitar is a bass. Okay.
Brent
I think Brent's right. When you don't have to learn chord progressions and chords and scales. I just.
Tyler
You.
Brent
You're almost a mix of a guitar player and a percussionist.
Tyler
Yeah. Anthony James. So thank you so much for. For buying that. That signed bottle. I don't drink bourbon.
Brent
War Pigs.
Tyler
Love all of your podcasts. Thank you, brother. I really appreciate that. War Pigs. Here we go. I know. It's what automatically came up.
Brent
Man.
Tyler
The boys on the couch was right. Thunder lips. Rocky 3 came into the ring with four Hot 80s era blonde chicks. Thunder Lips. Ultimate male. That's the ultimate male. Ultimate object of desire. The mountain of molten lust.
Don
Yep, I remember that. That was Rocky three, huh?
Tyler
Yeah. Rocky three.
Brent
I wonder if he googled that or if he memorized that.
Tyler
Oh, man, I hope he just knew that. Oh yeah, me too. Oh, w. W. Devil. You're my boy, Tyler.
Brent
Yeah, I can't read the screen. I have to rely on Brent to read it.
Tyler
Wiley Coyote. If you can't play guitar, you play. Hey, bass players.
Brent
I played in bands. Bass players show up and they do what they're told and they're reliable as hell.
Tyler
Oh, man.
Brent
Drummers are spazzes and crazy people. Guitar players are usually the organizers and the singers are full of ego.
Tyler
Talking about Thunder Lips, I believe he's referred to. Yeah, and those four chicks had a thicker bush than the Amazon. Nice one, Thunder Lips. I had no idea what that meant earlier until. Explain now. Funny stuff from Greg's abo. Oh, gosh. You know what? Here's. Speaking of the pendulum swinging, I would love to see like a. A resurrection of rock.
Drew
100%.
Tyler
Would you go as far, like, considering the popularity of rock from the 70s, 80s, like even 90s compared to that. Are you mad at me? If I told you rock is dead, I would say. Or has. Or has. Or has a. Has a very light heartbeat.
Brent
You just. The Daytona rockville and Daytona just broke records for. I mean, they're able to have these Danny Wimmer shows that have millions of people that go to them for four days straight.
Drew
So what, they got better advertising now?
Brent
I know, but it's just showing to show you it's not dead.
Tyler
I gotta think of like, you know, just a devil's advocate to that kind of thing. Like, it's limping. It's. We're rock isn't like, the amount of bands that could sell out a stadium tour back then was. Was a longer list today. Metallica could sell out a stadium. But, like, you're gonna have to give me someone else. I can sell out a stadium. A bunch of old guys. A bunch of old guys can still sell out stadiums. No, I mean, so it'd be filled with a bunch of old guys. Yeah. And it's filled. So like. So here's my. My. Like my counter to that, Rockville. Although, gosh, it had a lot of people at it. It's still. It's. It's a single event. It's not stadium tours. Does that. You think that helps my. My argument or. Or not?
Brent
I just don't think you're assessing it because. Right. Because, I mean, I'm friends with the host from Spirit Talk podcast.
Tyler
Yeah.
Brent
He's the head of security for Shinedown.
Tyler
Okay.
Brent
They sat. They're on tour all the time, selling outside.
Tyler
I love it.
Brent
I guess.
Tyler
I mean, I want it. Like, that's what I mean, don't we. That's what I want the answer to.
Don
Be as a genre or a style. I think it may be evolving a little bit. I mean, it's not what it was. The same.
Tyler
The same music. Why learn an instrument? You ever heard of Chicks? I know one song.
Brent
Baby if I woe you by the end of that.
Tyler
Well, I think there's a lot of.
Drew
Talented people out there playing video games, and they're not coming out. They don't know what they got. Yeah, I think there's a lot of that going on.
Tyler
Yeah, maybe. All right, let me pose it a different way then. Maybe it's not that rock is dead. Maybe it's just the rise of pop and hip hop is so much larger than it was. It. It. It makes rock look less because they are so much larger.
Don
I mean, there's so many avenues for people to produce their own music and stuff like that. I mean, there's. There's so much out there that we don't even mainstream doesn't even know about.
Tyler
That was cool.
Don
That could have something to do with Noah's cool.
Brent
Seeing Gojira play the opening ceremony for the Olympics. You see that?
Don
Hey, it.
Tyler
No, I pulled it up just the other day. The super bowl hasn't had a. A rock band since. It's in years. Just years. I'm like Heartbreakers. Like it's. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. I gotta look it up. And then they've had Coldplay. They had. They had Tom Petty. When was Creed. I gotta look up.
Brent
That's when. But the guy flew through the air.
Tyler
Yeah. Like the last five or six Super Bowls have all been.
Brent
Yeah. Garbage.
Tyler
Have all been garbage. Like they really have.
Brent
There's a competition going there been a couple that like, why has Metallica not played the Super Bowl?
Tyler
There's a. Gosh. There's a good question. Goon back in. Good night, boys. Gotta go take care of some business with the lovely lady.
Brent
All right.
Tyler
Get out of here. Thanks, brother. Spring Break 1987 Gnr Paradise City. Just saying. Oh, gosh. I could. I could only imagine that energy. Brett. Hopless bass players don't get laid. Proven. Proven. That's scientific.
Brent
No, I think they gotta make their way to the singer. So.
Tyler
Yeah, that's. I'm sure there's a highway.
Drew
Yeah.
Tyler
But there's an always guitar player right before the city. There's enough to go around. Yeah. J Dog. Pop music is super gay these days.
Brent
Hey, have you seen the movie Rockstar with Mark Wahlberg?
Tyler
I. I haven't. I know what mov you're talking about too.
Brent
Zack Wild's in it.
Tyler
Yeah. Yeah. Soundcloud has changed the game. Yeah, there's something said about that. W. Devil. This one's for you, Drew. Don't beat yourself up, Drew. The technical issues only add to the authenticity of the show.
Drew
That's right.
Tyler
That's a half joke. But you know what? What? That's actually. That's. There's a lot of truth to that.
Don
There's one dude pointing out the fleas.
Tyler
A bass player that. Oh, there's. It's a one off. There's always a one off. But. But if.
Brent
But there.
Tyler
Yeah, please. A bass player. But hey, there's. There's a lot of people love music in this room. Take Flea out. Take Flea out. Name another name another very popular five.
Brent
After we end this. No, I wouldn't say Cliff Burton.
Tyler
Jason New said old. Guess what? Old and isn't even the bass player Metallica anymore. Robert Cheerio.
Brent
Metallica has had Cliff Burton, Jason Newstead, Robert Cheerio.
Tyler
The three.
Brent
Rex Brown from Pantax. I think it's because he's in pan.
Tyler
But you know what? You're. You're not making a case for bass players. You're making a case for Metallica. Is. Yeah. Yeah. Is. Is what you're making.
Brent
Come on, come on, come on. Help me think of bass players. Bass players. Just basically, I'm looking for that maker. That maker.
Tyler
Break after flee. I'm done.
Drew
Chat says Chris from Nirvana.
Brent
What?
Tyler
I don't even know who the bass player from Nirvana. I hate to say. I know.
Don
Somebody said nikki Six, if you have to.
Tyler
If you have to go all the way back to Rush today. My bass player. That proves a point. Okay.
Brent
Nikki six from. But not because of talent, but because of his Persona in the band Motley Crue.
Tyler
Yeah, for sure. Yeah.
Brent
He's actually known to be a bad bass player.
Tyler
Yeah. That guy Kyle said Korn bassist. You're proven my point.
Don
You don't know his name.
Tyler
You don't know his name. But yeah, I could. You can tell. You can tell me the lead singer's name.
Brent
Yeah.
Tyler
So it's not. It's. It's not the same anyway.
Brent
All right, guys.
Tyler
There we go. Another one down. Not. Wasn't. Wasn't the most fun podcast to do because, man, it really. Ozzy and Hulk just have to say it again. It just sucks.
Brent
It's okay. And I won't say this about them. Those deaths hurt, but we didn't personally know them, so we were able to do the memorial part in our brain way faster than grieving like a friend. Some of the extra. You obviously wouldn't go on a podcast the next day and be like, yeah, they're awesome. You know, so it was nice. But losing Ozzy was like. That was huge. Yeah.
Tyler
Because it.
Brent
You. They were so big in your upbringing.
Tyler
That's right. Both of them so big. I. I remember in my bedroom turning on my alarm clock radio and turn it to 101.1 after I was supposed to be in bed just so I can listen, like, to the rock top 10. That happened, like, at 11, when I should be sleeping. Yeah. And listening to no more tears and couldn't wait for no more tears to come to come back on. Like. Like, even he was from 70s to 80s, like, and this is, you know, deep in the 90s, and he's still affecting me. Yeah. You know, as. As a. As a young man. It's crazy, man.
Brent
Godfather, Rock and roll. I'd say the Godfather of Wrestling. Gone in a few days.
Tyler
Yeah. For sure.
Brent
All right, guys.
Tyler
Go ahead, brother.
Brent
That's it. Go ahead, brother. Yeah, we're saying brother now. Thank you guys for showing up for another Thursday night squadcast for the boys. We'll see you next week. Next Thursday.
Tyler
Drew, cut the feed before they watched me.
