All right, let's kick it off with the Tate brothers arrest. This is Eli, if you could put it up. What to know about the Tate brothers arrest. Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, two of the world's most polarizing social media influence who are known for promoting misogyny and flashy displays of wealth, face possible extradition to the uk Keyword possible, by the way, which has leveled new rape and sex trafficking charges against them. The U S Marshal Service arrested the Tates in Miami on Saturday and took them into custody on a sealed warrant. The Tates, who have a British and American citizenship and moved to Romania in 2016, has since been detained and are scheduled to appear in U S Federal Court on Monday, which was today and based on the clip I have, that has already happened. The UK's Crown Prosecution Service, who which prosecutes criminal cases investigated by police and other authorities in England and Wales, said in a statement, if they are seeking extradition for that, they are seeking extradition The Saturday arrest is the latest chapter in the international legal saga involving the Tates, who have faced accusations of rape, trafficking, sexual assault and other wrongdoing spanning from Romania to the uk. While the two have amassed support from the American right as prominent figures so called manosphere and supporters of President Donald Trump. This is clearly a liberal liberal article. Attorney General McBride, who represents the Tates. Joseph McBride, sorry, who represents the Tates, asserted the brother's innocence and called the UK's charges a political hit ordered by a dying empire. Whether the Tates are extradited to the UK ultimately falls in the U. S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The Tate's camp expressed confidence that the extradition request will be denied. Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free, said their lawyer. America does not do Britain's political dirty work. Not here, never, the charges said. It charged from the bro. The prosecution Service Crown Prosecutions, in a statement after the arrest, said it charged the brothers related to alleged offenses between July 2010 and August 2017 involving four alleged victims. It charged Andrew Tate, 39, with seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault, occasionally actual body occasioning. I've never seen that word. For actual bodily harm, and 19 charges for offenses connected to indecent images of child and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate, 38, was charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilities trafficking for sexual exploitation. These are heavy, heavy charges. Yeah.

You think if they were that heavy, they would have been heavy back in 2007. They should have been heavy back then too.

The 38 new charges stem from continuing investigations into the alleged offenses. Reporting reported to the Bedfordshire Police and Hetfordshire. The Tates already faced previous charges in the UK for rape and other crimes. With the additions, the total number of charges against the brothers in the UK is now 59. All right, so we're not going to go too much more into that because let's look at the 2023. Do you remember when they were arrested?

Romania all dropped right to June 2023 indictment. Following their initial arrest in Romania December of 2022, Romanian prosecutors officially indicted the Tate brothers. In June, they were charged with human trafficking, rape and forming an organized criminal group to sexually exploit women. Sounds familiar.

Yep.

Detention charges. In March 2023, they were moved from jail to house arrest. By August 2023, the house arrest restrictions were lifted. This is August, not even six months after that they were lifted, though remained under travel restrictions within Romania. No trial or conviction. The Formal charges did not result in a trial or conviction. The Tate brothers have consistently maintained their innocence and have no criminal convictions on the record. Legal proceedings regarding these allegations, along alongside subsequent charges for the United Kingdom, remain ongoing.

I think we're seeing. Obviously, let's first start with this. If they did any of those things, they deserve to go to prison the rest of life.

Absolutely.

If that's the case and that's what they did. Jail, woodchipper jail, whatever. But we've seen this once before from a government that governments that can just get away with doing this. This is what happens in England. You can't post on the Internet. You can't talk out loud. They come to your house. Two. 2017 is nine years ago and then 2010 is 16 years. Yeah, yeah. You're talking where.

Yeah, I was. Yeah, 2010, I was still narcotics. So it's like 2017. I just went into detective division for the second time. Like I remember one of my big cases of 2017. So how does it take this long? It's. It seems like they're probably speaking out or doing things to that government. And obviously those countries don't follow the constitution. They don't have a constitution. They're kingdoms that el freedom and. But immigrants do like all the Muslims run around stabbing and killing people do. But yeah, it seems like an attack on a certain two dudes that are very outspoken, have a huge following and I bet they consider them, you know, outliners taboo, terrible people. Like you said, all the keywords, they don't really take any. They say what's on their mind and then they're targeted. It'd be interesting to see how because obviously Marco Rubio Trump those guys are very a certain way. So it'll be interesting if they cooperate with a foreign government to extradite these guys back. I don't think it's going to happen.

Well, I just don't understand. If we didn't, there would have to be no evidence. So I'm assuming. And I don't know and I don't know if you know either. I mean, I know you were with the marshals for a long time, but I don't know if you know this of international extradition. Do they have. When we make our determination as a government, the feds make their determination that we're gonna. Is that because the other government has provided some sort. They have a warrant.

Yeah.

Do we usually honor warrants?

[Eli]

There would be a hearing no different than anywhere else. Like you would be hearing to Say, does this warrant us sending our citizens to another country? And obviously these charges would be serious enough if they are true. But our government is going to look at the evidence and maybe go, our Constitution doesn't allow you guys to do xyz. We're not going to cooperate. I'll give you a very big example was we had a very famous case in Vera beach where a. A mother of a bunch of kids had sex with one of the juveniles who was like 16, 17 years old. And she was a mother. She was. He was friends with his, his kids in America. In the United States, she's looking at 30 years. She went through the whole thing, didn't show up for sentencing, fled to Canada and got sentenced at 30 years. Canada said, Nope, it's legal here. Sixteen is consenting adult and we're not extraditing her back to the United States to face charges on something that would be legal where she's standing. Yeah, obviously those charges are not legal anywhere in the world. But if the evidence is weak and the United States looks at it and goes, hm, these really aren't something that we would be able to do to our citizens. Surveil them this way. Or they're just not enough evidence based on our Constitution, I can see them saying, we're not sending American citizens back to your country to face unfair charges. So it'll be interesting, like I said that that's what it's going to come down to. It's going to be some type of probable cause hearing where a judge goes, nah, this ain't enough. In America. We're not sending them back.

Here's what I think it is. I think it's their debauchery of their lifestyle. And I'm assuming that it is true that they did run virtual pornographic, borderline, probably prostitution type stuff, but depending on how you want to swing that, how you want to word that it's. It could be the worst thing in the world. Now, anybody underage, obviously I'm not cond.

You're talking like they probably used Internet servers. Yeah, they probably did something like that. And it's highly. They don't like it.

And now they're going back. It's just like, McGregor, like, you know, he went to run for President. They're like, we're going to arrest you for something you said 10 years ago for talking bad about the government. He's like, well, I don't want that. So the obvious, that happened. Yeah. When he went to run for president.

He was gonna run for president Ireland, Really? Yes. He announced he was doing. Was. He was still probably on the, on the, the stuff, but he was going, didn't do all that. And he had tweeted bad about the government and, and they said, okay, you want to run and we're, we're going to charge you with XYZ for like trying to overthrow the government.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So he obviously stopped. So this is. Yeah, they're. I'm sure they were running some dating, sex, something through there. They have entrepreneurs there. And then they just group that into those disgusting words they throw at the wall and go, we're going to charge you all this. But here's my point. Unless you again, underage, non consenting anything in human trafficking, I'm in. Bury them. But if it's just like you said, prostitution and they were doing it and it was a loophole or it was happening and everybody was consenting to it. If it wasn't important in 2017, why is it important now?

Why is it important now? Murder, sexual battery, burglary. Even though that burglary lines like a two or seven year, I think so, like, none of those charges still stick. These ones do. They're crimes against people if they are. But you have a victim. Do you have a female that says, I was sex trafficked? Now that changes it.

Well, apparently there's four that came out of the woodwork.

Gotta see more. I guess the bottom line is we could talk about it like we're doing, but have to see more. But unless it's solid, Donald Trump is not sending u. S. Citizens back to another country to be detained. You see what he fought for? Brittany Grenier, who hates him. The female that. The basketball player that got caught with weed and was like detained in Russia.

Even though she hates him. He's a u. S. Citizen. Right. He's like it, you know, I'm gonna get my citizen back like he did. So he's not going to turn over people to another country unless it's solid. I can tell you that.

I've become very cynical in my life.

Yeah, I had the chip card I could swipe in the courthouse. I could get in all the access I could get in the government.

I could see things, look up things that regular cops couldn't. Once you're a task force sworn, then there's a next level. You have to actually be like, an actual agent to see some more stuff. Like, I couldn't do. They do those badass missions where they go shoot the boats off of, like. Yeah, I couldn't do that. I could do some things, but not all of it. But do you know, somebody said, hey, man, we're gonna. You know, we're gonna snip these guys. Let's get a kid.

We think about all those gambling Sites, and they're all run in other countries. Those servers are set up and those dealers, those casino sites are all set up in other countries that get away with more. You got to figure other countries get away with more. Usually, like I said, Canada's rules for consent are younger. You go to other countries and it's even more young. Obviously England, those European countries are huge on censorship all around when it comes to anything, so. But you can get away with more taxes, evade taxes better. United States loves money. We're going to tax you. So there's. There's a lot of benefits to going other places and doing those things. You can be. You can buy off politicians. That's another thing. There's another angle. There is a freedom of speech we've saw in Fort Worth where people are getting threatened with arrest for saying things that hurt people's feelings. Saying something that hurts people's feelings and inciting some type of violence are far different. So hard to talk about. But Strickland, I think, is the example of allowed to say what he says. He can. He's allowed. Should you? It was like Holcott saying Michelle Obama's a man at the White House fight. That's not the best place to say it. Does he have a right? Yeah, he can Say it. Do you always want to present things at the. At a certain time and maybe at another time? Maybe. But, you know, Strickland says what he says. I mean, he's a showman. We saw it. We saw it. You know, the Cosmot fight, the one that he just won before, you know, the. They talked about he called him a goat and. And all the stuff about, you know, going back and then they shook hands twice. I watched Rewatch the fight the other day, and even DC Daniel Cormier was like, they touch gloves. He's like, yeah, they touch gloves twice. So they were playing it up. They know what they're doing. And then you get.

No, no, I think he feels that way. But is he. I mean, I think he's allowed to feel whoever he wants. I mean, he's allowed to say whatever he wants. That's what we're here for. That's what the country is founded on. You can say whatever you want. And I think he does. And it's important to be able to do that.

Somebody said earlier, Mushroombo, I have heard that the boss of the cops that arrested Tate work under someone appointed by Trump, but the mayor is from a Democratic party.

Either way, they got arrested. Can't go around it. Have to. Can't.

Well, yeah, the marshals. The head of the marshals is appointed by Trump.

Yes, but he can't say, I'm not going to go arrest them. You start the process.

Well, that's what we always talk about. Even with street cops with warrants, that warrants out there. But that's why I didn't unders. I didn't know for sure if, like we honored other countries like, this is a sealed warrant. We've done our investigation. Any other state would go, hey, as much as we love you as a Floridian, Alabama's got a warrant for you and they want you. We're sending you.

Well, we're. We're detaining. And then they're going to do that. They're still hearing, though, even out of state? Yeah, there's still an extradition hearing.

Yeah. Even within states, there's still a judge

Our judge? Yeah. When you do that fugitive justice form and you sign it, because it's not a real warrant, it's a fugitive justice. You fill out paperwork. When that judge gets it, there's an extradition hearing where they have their first appearance and the judge goes, okay, you have a warrant out of Alabama. We're going to hold you. Then you got like a 30 day and then you can wave it. Like if you want to get back and get busy and say like I know I did it like I had

drugs or get it over with.

Let me, let me roll out. Because you're not getting credit or get to start to due process till you get there. If you don't waive extradition, though, there's still a hearing where a judge then reads all through and goes, yes, S. This is exactly what's going to happen. I find probable cause that this is in good, you know, good light. This is good. This is wasn't malicious. I see the warrant affidavit.

The judge is going to read all of the evidence and then he's going

to go send them back. Then we say, okay, question.

Does the judge just read the probable cause or does he read the evidence too?

[Eli]

No, he's going to read the probable cause. He's going to look at it and go, okay, statement. It is, it is. But if it's shady, that judge, it doesn't happen. But if it was, the judge will go, oh, there's a little. I want to, I want more. The judge, the judge could deny extradition and say, I want, I want more information. Let's say it was a shady case where a sheriff's arrested another guy, they had some beef, something like that, something. And the judge goes, hey, this is kind of hanky. Maybe look into this more. But there's a judge that reviews it. But yes, it's a formality at this point. They just look at it, go, yeah, probable cause. I read the affidavit, send them back. And then you get driven back to Alabama or they come and get you. But it's just this is the same thing on.

Do you think our federal courts are going to look at evidence or do you think they're just going to look at the fact that there's a probable cause?

[Eli]

If you're sending a. Again, if you're going to send a citizen that can. Our first scenario, you're send them to another state. We're still in the United States. We're going to. They're going to find tooth comb. Before we send a person to another country, an American citizen, we're not just going to be like, yeah, take it because we don't ever get them back. That's our problem is usually trying to get them back. So I don't think they're just going to send them over. It'll be interesting to see because obviously I would think Tate and Trump are on that same side of the right. They got some of the same similar

charges, openly supported him.

I don't know. I don't know. I would think they're on the same side, though. Like I said, they're both on that right side. Trump said, grab them by the here and there. He's been accused of multiple things. So, you know, birds of a feather locked together. I'm not saying they're bad people. I'm just saying I think Trump is going to make sure his administration really.

So if they go to federal, this federal court process and they determine that they're not going to be extradited, and then in two years, somebody comes into office and goes, andrew Tate, we're sending back, can that happen, to your knowledge?

I don't know. Usually it would be double. Well, it's not double jeopardy because you wanted of another country. They probably could revisit it. Yeah, I mean, you can't. I don't know. You can't unfuck it. There was a, there was a viral video going around over the weekend where one of the guys, one of the senators, was drilling the attorney who recommended Biden commute all the federal death penalties, and he did. You can't go back and reinstate him at this point. It's done. So it's like, I don't know how that I would think somewhere in there you've been determined. No, but then you got Sal. Shout out to Sal. Sal's in court today. We're waiting to find out what the status is. He's in there today. So it's like one of those things where Sal could be free for three years and then get indicted. I think it always works against the citizen. So I'm thinking they could probably go, yeah, never mind, we're going to come back and get you. Because like I said, he drilled this lady and, you know, they always create race and all that. He brought up the white shooter that killed those eight black people in Alabama church.

The senator. So, yeah, you guys are, you know, you guys are all race and, you know, you know, relationships with the black community. The guy, what's his name? Roof Hoof, one of the weird last names. A kid killed eight black people in church and intentionally waited until it was a worship ceremony to get more bang for the buck. And his manifesto said that. And he said, and you recommended to Joe Biden to let this guy not get put to death. And she's like, well, he's going to spend the Rest of his life in prison, he's like, well, that's not what the sentence was. So I think it always favors the citizen. There's. I don't think. I don't know. I. I think it's a possibility they could go back and be like it. You know, some Democrat wins in two years and send the Tates away.

I would just go live in an unextradidable country.

Yeah. There's not many good ones left. Non Extraditable, unextradatable. I don't think there's, like. I think Venezuela is one. But we extradited their whole president.

Anyways, we'll. We'll continue to cover this. Guys, this is. This is insane. And you know what? It. It would be in my head, a slam dunk if they hadn't been charged with this in 2023 with no results, meaning no evidence. Yeah.

Different country. But yes, we've seen it's a pattern. These guys get hammered. And I think, like you said, the charges, you know, you have all. Even in America, you have. You have lewd and lascivious sexual bad. And you're like, what the does that mean? And you find out, it's like, oh, he was 18, the girl was 17. It's like. Or, you know, the girl's 15 and he was just turned 18. They'd been dating, and then it's like, that sounds bad, but it's not. So what. What do they actually do? Like I said, they raped or harmed any women. They gonna deserve to be. Yeah. Put to death.

But if not, then I don't think. I don't think it's going to be as cut and dry when you're in that world of webcam girls and prostitution and your key word was willing.

Yeah. And when you say they got four people could. They'll just be four people cooperating because then they got popped and they said, you're going to cooperate with our government.

Oh, yeah. Because we don't have laws and rules.

The rest of your life in jail. Or do you want to tell everybody that the Tate brothers did that? Correct. Yeah. Yep. All right, well, I want to move on to old Chitwood. Now. We recently held Sheriff Chitwood's feet to the fire for his unnecessary discipline proposals to a deputy that did 92 miles an hour into a retention Pond, we cut a clip of it. We've covered this twice. The second time we made an actual reel on Instagram. And. And the comments are about 2/3. This is ridiculous. And the 1/3 are just your average guy that doesn't like the cops and wants accountability. But you have some updates on this because what I. What before I forget what I want to say is that we got tons and tons and tons of messages about stuff like this, but specifically there was some about Chitwood. I'm not going to say who sent us. We just saw your video about Chitwood and the canine deputy that. So I had to say my piece. Been in this area for about X years. Can't tell you how many times that deputy has spawned out of nowhere to back us up, help us on tracks when our dogs were out and just be all around a great dude. It's absolutely effed what Chitwood is doing made me stop processing my application to his agency. That deputy is an absolute stud and one of the best deputies I've come across in my short amount of time working down in this area. Absolute shame. Someone else sent us a message that said Chitwood was a Philly guy, which is true. He worked at Philadelphia PD and then he went to Daytona beach as chief. Then he became Volusia County Sheriff. So he was a Philly guy, you said? That's the problem. Charmed career. His dad was the same. They would get in trouble and somehow land better. He ended up as a lieutenant in the detective unit. He would contact the news for every case, perp walks, blowing things out of proportion. Sound familiar?

Oh, yeah.

[Mike]

He never did detective assignments and was out of his element. But he was a media darling. He had such a nice career, yet acted like he was in the trenches. Had some oh babies that other guys raised. We were happy to get rid of him. Total artists who made the detective bureau in Philly look bad. I was told he only testified a handful of times in his 20 year career. Yet he played the role of a career investigator. Total and complete fraud that even our dumpster fire of a department was happy to get rid of. Yeah,

where do I start? You know, I watched. I was on vacation, but I watched it back. Watched a real blow up and you know, I called him a piece of. And as they kind of rings. You were playing it earlier with me and Eli were sitting here. You went out back, it was rolling on the speaker. Here's my point. A lot of the comments and I was reading them before the show and reading them while I was Gone were. I am not justifying cops getting away with being stupid. I'm not justifying cops being held to a different standard. I talk about that often. What I'm saying is I can't as a cop be mad at you because you. Let's say a civilian crashed that car. And we talked about. I can't walk up to you and go, hey, piece of shit. You're acting like a piece of shit driver. Like, I can't do that. So why does a cop get subjected to that from a leader? What leadership? Obviously, these messages come in this dude, you know, to say he testified a handful of times. That also shows that he's never done anything. Anybody wants to pull my stats testifying. Please do. I've been in court a ton. I know what it's like to do the job. And I also don't understand the leadership part of it where you just don't do this to guys. You can't be little citizens like that. Every one of you sheriffs has some freaking stupid accreditation. Oh, standards and professionalism and accountability and. And then you go on TV and trash your own guy. It's moronic. It's stupid.

It's petty. And then, like I said, it's a good guy. We've gotten tons of messages. Myself as well, this dude's a good guy. This dude's a good guy. Why are we screwing the good guys? Yes, he deserves to be punished. You can't go 92. And then there's one comment I think we both responded to where the guy was trying to say, you know what would happen to a citizen if I was in a dump truck or a tow truck? Nothing. Nothing would happen. You might get a careless driving citation. Which. Issue the guy the ticket. Write the dude the careless driving ticket.

State troopers write cops all the time.

All the time. I've been. The Vera beach police department would write their own guys. Their own guys for hitting a mailbox. I saw a deputy get a ticket for backing into a mailbox from this agency that I worked at. So, yeah, write him the citation for reckless driving.

That's right. There was a lot of people that said anyone would lose their. No. No seeing.

[Eli]

Single vehicle, creamed and spun a car out. You're gonna get a careless driving citation and you're gonna leave.

[Mike]

It's an accident.

[Eli]

What's the keyword that means it's not on purpose. Right? It's not on. Now you can throw the careless in. So there. Okay. We step it up. It's still an accident. But you did something carelessly, didn't kill anybody, didn't do anything. You know, I just look at this. Dude is a drama llama. He loves being on the media, he loves running his mouth. Let's talk about some of the ass things Chitwood did. Chipwood's known famous for, for doing a felony stop or doing some type of stop in the middle of the road. No vest, no equipment, with a gun out running up to somebody's window. That's pretty ass of you, Chitwood. Like you claim to be some top dog leader, dress like it, put a vest on, put a gun belt on and do the stop correctly. You looked like ass that day. It was horrible. But you know the, the people that sit behind the, the TV screens and the Karens. Yeah, they think it looks great because they see some, they see some old dude with a Philly accent run around, get on the ground, get on. That's horrible police work. Nowhere would you teach that. If your deputy did that off duty, you would probably call him and ask for doing that as well. So my point is that there's no standard.

[Mike]

I remember one time, one time he. There was a Volusia county is I4 stretches all the way through Volusia county cuts it right in half. And I was working on what we would call the west part of the county and on the east part of the county in Daytona beach there was a, a cell phone store that was quote unquote hit. And we're like, okay, this has been happening a lot, but it's 2pm so the hit, everybody was like hold on, hold on now. If you don't understand anything about police work, which you probably don't if you're not a cop. Property crimes. There's a difference between a burglary, a, a theft, a burglary and a robbery. A theft means I walk into an, an open, an open business and I take a cell phone and I run out the door. That's a theft. I didn't burglarize it because I didn't break in.

You didn't. You went somewhere the public could access.

[Mike]

If that cell phone business is closed and I break in or I even go in with the understanding, even if it's an unlocked door, the understanding is that it's closed and I go in there, that's a burg property crime. But now it's an automatic felony whether or not you take a charger or a three thousand dollar cell phone.

[Eli]

Correct.

[Mike]

Robbery is a forcible felony where you used force to take something from someone else and you hit them, you tackled them, you push them, you carjack them. Carjacking is a form of robbery. It's a little bit more serious. So robberies are a pursuable. Back then, about 10 years ago was a. I don't know how it is now in Volusia was a pursuable crime, right? So somebody, a group of young individuals, astronauts, most likely aspiring astronauts, got, went and hit a Cricket wireless store. But they, they stole. Now grand theft, sure, maybe, but it's still not a forcible felony. You can. Nobody in the world and 80 of agents are not going to pursue a vehicle in the middle of the day for a theft from a cell phone. So Chitwood manages to get. Now obviously the car's fleeing and everybody had. Chitwood finds the car and pursues it down I4. And everybody's on the side channels going, dude, does this guy know it's a theft? And he does the whole takedown, the whole shebang. And he was car one. Car one's at the point, like he wanted to. He broke his own rule that he would fire any deputy for just so he could do the media ass.

It sounds a lot like ass. Like that is the number one problem with leadership. The number one problem. You cannot perform at the top differently than your guys because they'll preach you're an extension of the sheriff. You have to do what he says. You have to be this, you have to be that. What leadership school and what the college degree or leadership school teaches these guys to act like that too. I don't know which one it is, whatever they're doing to go get all these fancy FBI academies and all these FBI leader and all these leadership FDL leader. I wish I didn't go. I worked up a street. I actually did, you know, real work. I testified, I wrote wiretaps and warrants and I was never taught to be a piece of to everybody else and break all the rules and then just, just, you know, tell everybody they have to listen to me. I don't know where they all learn that, but man, that must be a hell of a class you guys go to to learn how to do that kind of stuff. Because I've never been to it. To get on there and yeah, to break your own policies, to do whatever you want. And then, but then we found out nobody can say anything. We have a case in Indian River County. Lt. Daniel Cook, amazing dude, works for the Beer Beach Police department. He got. He filed a whistleblower suit. He was sticking up for his people and Himself. He was targeted over and over again. Documented it like you're supposed to, sucked it up, filed the lawsuit, and it got thrown out immediately. And now it's an appeal. And it's like that case I commented in that thing. That case shows it's impossible at this point to speak out against your agency. Now, for all you cop haters, I want any copyright to listen because you're going to tell us we're all pieces of acab. They're all bad, Right? How do you want us to be accountable? And how do you want us to change your perception of agencies if, when we do speak out, nothing happens? And instead of you guys pulling your head out of your ass and going, you know that one guy is a good cop because he's fighting the man like we're trying to, let's get behind him and make sure this case goes forward. Let's help push this case to the front of the media. No, you just keep screaming, all cops are bad. That does nothing for changing the culture of law enforcement. What does change it is pointing out the. The thin blue line audits. Lance Fisher, Sean Reyes. You hate him or love him, but he's pointing. He's showing things that are problems. You guys get behind him because he hates all cops. And I, I understand, but if you really hate cops and you hate the way things are being done, look for the guys like Danny. Most of the ACAP people, they just hate all cops. But when you see one that's good, we need to get behind that guy and go, we can't let this happen. There are people that I know, very close to me that have spoken out now against agencies and they're targeted. So when you hate, it's like racism. You just can't hate everybody. It doesn't work. It's not going to ever succeed to go, you really don't hate everybody. You don't. You might hate one or two people and then you just group them together.

So when you see a cop taking on the establishment like we do, like we broadcast, like I put out episodes of guys that are targeted. The people that hate cops got to go. You know what? I might hate most of them for whatever reason, but this guy is speaking out. Let's get behind him and let's. Because you got to change it. Guys like Chitwood will continue to do what they're doing. They'll get on the news, the head in the sand, people that aren't really paying attention are just going to go, oh, look at that. We love our sheriff. He's screaming out on tv. Meanwhile, there's a canine SWAT guy who worked his ass off to get to that. I don't know him personally, but I've been. I've had enough people vouch for him that I know he squared away. Who's now going to sit in the courthouse and lose all specialty units that is detrimental to the citizens of in Volusia county. That is not good. He needs to be out on the street. Discipline him. Discipline them. Like I would be. I would expect to be disciplined for going 92 and crashing into a pond. That's fine. He's not. It's not a character issue. It's not a stalking issue. And what are we seeing with cops now? Over the weekend, there was like four dudes stalking women. There was dudes flock issues. Like, they're out there. There's bad people. Let's go after them. The guys. No, we'll get there. I want to do. I want to. I'm going to set up an episode this week to cover, like, all those that are going down and kind of flip into this, what we're talking about now. There's good guys and there's bad guys, and we need to highlight the bad guys. And that's, I think, what we do, right? We. We talk about that. This. This leadership problem in law enforcement. We need people to get behind this canine guy, make him famous. You know, let's.

And it's unfortunate that someone like sheriff Mike Chiwood is ego driven. He's not a leader. Because if a leader makes a bad call and you are flooded with letters and comments and messages saying what you're doing is wrong, a person with a conscience is going to go, am I wrong? Like, hold on. Someone like me is gonna go or is gonna go to a counterpart and go, dude, am I. Am I up right now? Like, no. Yeah. I mean, it is kind of harsh. Like, okay. But people that are driven by ego. I say this a lot in the business side. People that are driven by ego aren't businessmen. They're not good businessmen. They don't know money. They don't know how to grow a business. They'll drive themselves. They're companies and their money into the ground because they have a big ego. And it looks like police leadership is the same. We can sit it right out in the parking lot, buy a license for that camera, install the computer software on Our computer. And we could put an LPR with a Sony's, whatever this camera is and make it an LPR today. As long as it fits the list.

So yes, Home Depot, yes, Lowe's, yes, all the corners. Every single tag is being read by that Exxon lpr. And it's way better than Flocks. When I first got, I was one of the first people to have it in my car. I could drive down the Walmart parking lot and on a 90 degree angle. It grabbed both tags at the same time. Every single car.

So now you're paying flock $200,000 a year for all their system and you're going, you know what I want? I love Flock and I like what it's doing, but I want to buy Fuses because I also want to have the gas station cameras and the intersection cameras and I want to have all these other programs in one. And our CAD system and our reverse 911 system and all these things that are working. And boxes. Yeah, well, sure, we'll play too. 1500 extra hundred dollars per camera. So 80 times 15, another 85,000, $86,000 to now integrate. And you go, I can't afford it anymore.

Yeah. The same guys that are operating this stuff, by the way, ask them to spell paraphernalia. Yeah. Like these are cops. Like, cops are notoriously government workers because they maybe some of them aren't the smartest people in the world.

They just mark out the chips, put a little piece of plastic down and he loses it. And then he's like, give me another. And he does it. And then he. I enjoy the like, the thrills of like going to Disney and going on a ride, going to water park. Like, I don't need to spend billions of dollars. So the just the act of going, I could see I could stay grounded. I just. I think these guys get it too fast. I think young.

You have the dudes get shot. You have the two dudes come up behind the shooter, wax them. Their brain is processing. They just killed somebody. I'm sure, like, holy, I just shot somebody. I wouldn't plan on that. I was just gonna cool out today and go to the, you know, go home later and, you know, play with my kids. Then this guy sees all that unfold and goes, oh, I got a guy over there. And he. Very good by everybody involved. Like, everybody has a job. And in this case, why don't want

to underplay the guy that went and got him. You don't know that, that. You don't know how many shooters there are. You don't know if he's dead. Yeah, I mean, yeah.

I mean, he goes right around this guy. And of course, being the true Internet fashion, there was a bunch of on him for how he put a tourniquet on. And I get. Training is important. Saving lives is important. You can't over do. I mean, and that's what I'm trying to do more of in my own self. I, I know we're critical.

First off, anybody that critiques that in the comments, I guarantee you you have not done anything of that caliber. Not saying that, that, that you're bad for not doing it, but to sit there and on somebody. You have never pulled a cop to safety with a gunshot wound. I 100 guarantee it.

I can unfortunately, I hope I'm gonna get to talk about it one day. I can unfortunately, with all my heart tell you I know what it looks like when you don't go get somebody. I know what it looks like when you stand outside and don't go get somebody and they're no longer with us. So anybody who does anything but that, yes, training is important. Tourniquets are important for life saving. It's kind of like driving into the pond. Like you're not supposed to do it, you're supposed to know how to put a tourniquet on. And in these high risk situations, things fail. But that's where training comes in that if you've done it 100, 200, 300 times, it's going to kick in. But this is the Internet era. This is where a guy can do something heroic and immediately it's application of this, application of that. It is important because if you know a guy misses 20 rounds and doesn't hit a guy five feet away, it's a huge problem. Right? We can't have that. But overall, most of the people critiquing are the same guys that say I wouldn't have dropped that touchdown, I would have made that one handed catch. That would have been easy. And it's like, yeah, sounds good from your couch. And it's the same thing with these guys. I think it's heroic. I think they did an amazing job. You know, that's a, that's the worst case scenario when you're pulling up on a call and you get ambushed and you're watching your buddy take rounds to his windshield. Dudes smoke the dude in the back justifiably. And the other dude that didn't shoot has the wherewithal to go it. They're shooting them, I'm gonna go get my buddy. And he runs around, grabs him and imagine that scene. Imagine looking down your friend with his gun in the hand, he's laying on the side, he's got blood coming from all over. That's. Nobody wants to see that. That's good work man. That was good work by all those guys.

Now here's the thing. This is what we just showed you is real life law enforcement. Every call I would go to this is probably why I got burned out mentally so fast is you're constantly going, me and Mike are walking up talking about dumb dumb and what he just did on the last call and he needs to be fired and I hate him and our boss sucks and he's fat and we're walking up talking about that. But I'm also thinking, where's somebody going to shoot us from? And what's going to happen if Mike gets shot? What am I going to do? Am I gonna. Every step you take, you're running subconscious scenarios through your head.

So it should be.

That is real life. What you just saw right there was real life law enforcement. And I want to share what our friend Dominic is a sheds some light on something. We on these people all the time. But imagine these cops in a scenario like this.

an expert marksman to earn a badge. I would say that's false. It just goes on to how you

are as a person.

And everyone has an equal opportunity through the hiring process. And who you are shines out in the end. When it comes to marksmanship, we do have a standard, but by no means is it an elite, elite marksmanship standard.

even. Not only they don't have to be elite, but if you listen to the, the chick, it was over it and then she said as long it just counts what kind of person you are. Well, I know a lot of people in wheelchairs that move it with one hand. They're really good people. Can they be cops? Think about it. They're really good free.

They're all shoot you.

I don't know why I use that example around you. That was, that was the worst decision. And I watched it unfold in slow motion. I knew exactly what you were going to do when you started to do it. So what? It wasn't the best time to use that example. But what I was getting at was

That was really good. But she glazes over and says if you're just a good person, it's okay. Do you have to be an excellent shooter? No, you have to be a very good shooter. You don't, you don't have to go to keyhole rounds, but you should be able to get what the drills are, like six rounds in an eight inch circle in like two seconds. Like you should be able to get rounds on target.

There was a time when you couldn't go to the past, the police academy. If you couldn't shoot.

Well, no, you. Well, the problem is the qualification is so simple, and we. And we've evolved with everything we're seeing on the Internet, but we haven't evolved. The qualification, the Florida one got a little better. There's actually moving involved. But. Yeah. Do you think that chick or that dude with their. With their idea of the standard is prepared to shoot that dude in the back from 20 yards away and make sure those rounds don't. They got their buddy in the backdrop. They got citizens in the backdrop. To word it like that. The. The biggest thing is that somebody videoed that, edited it, and was like, yep, this is good. Yeah. Yeah.

And then it went to the pio who was like, green.

So what's clearly happening now? Put it back up, Eli. What's clear. We're not done with it. Oh, this is an amazing video. And Dom's take on it's even better. We're not doing it justice. But what's clearly happened is they have a recruitment problem and they're trying to let the public know that you. It's anybody who might be scared. Like, I'm not a good shot. It used to be. Okay, then don't be a cop. Like, I'm not good at physical confrontations. Don't be a cop. Like, if I wasn't good at delivering mail, I'm not gonna be a mailman

and any other profession. This is where it frustrates me.

Or I can't cook, but I'm gonna go apply for a cook job. Like, no. No other entity on earth that runs a business is gonna. You come in and go, hey, we got a line cook position.

Come on in for an interview. And you go, no, man. I was a construction dude. I slung a hammer. But I really am a good person. I'm a solid dude. I'm a solid dude. And I, you know, I want to cook today in your five star restaurant, because I. Person, right. I'm not good at it. Can't cook, but I'm a great guy. Yeah, come on in, man. We're good. Matter of fact, just take over the grill. That's essentially what they're saying. And it's the most dangerous thing we're creating. And then you throw the LGBTQs and the DI and the 30 by 30s in there, and you start making it, like, frowned upon to question these subpar hiring procedures and standards. And you know you can be fat now. You don't have to shoot. You can, you know, you can be 5190 pounds. Like what are you going to do? Like how be. I get it. You're a great per. Like you are awesome. You, you make a great batista or, or whatever else you want to be. You'd be all, you're great with interpersonal skills are great. And then the sidebar to that is, well, we can just hire her or him or whatever and they could just be a detective and they can do these other things. Well, no, you have to go to work. You have to drive to work. You can't get a tank. We're going to tank up all the det that are 5 foot and 90 pounds. We're going to drive them to the station in the tank so that they don't ever have to worry about anything. Then we're going to escort them to the scene. With SWAT is going to take all

these cater lunch in.

It'd be like. Yeah, it'd be like having nine like 11 quarterbacks on the field. In football, they're all really good athletes, but we're not gonna have linemen. It just doesn't work. You have to have some guys got to get in the trenches at 300 pounds and block. Some guys got to go catch the ball, but that's football. In law enforcement, everybody's a quarterback. So everybody has to be able to do that job. There's no, there's no like side jobs.

[Mike]

But what did the quarterback most likely do when he was younger? He probably played a lot of positions so he understands the game. You cannot be a detective. And I see this a lot in young kids that go, I want to be CSI or I want to be detective like. Or the kids coming in now that are in their young 20s and they're like, I want to get off the road. I want to be a detective. Like you are going. The longer, the, the less amount of time you spend as a road cop, the shittier you are going to be at every other.

You have to know the fundamentals, the building blocks. Yeah.

And you have to still be able to do the road cop because what happens every summer, all the SROs get bounced to patrol to do something.

[Mike]

I don't. We don't even want them there. They cause more issues than they help.

I shouldn't say that. There's a lot of good SROs that want to come help and it's not their fault that nine, ten months out of the year they don't do police work.

Well, SROs are a thing. Unless you want to rotate. Tops out.

What they should be doing is working. In my world, they're going to work zones or they're going to SROs in the summer when there's no school.

[Mike]

Yeah, but how do you expect them to be as proficient as the road cops?

Because we have to rotate. I would rotate them through my administration was gonna. Is gonna go on the road like I am.

[Mike]

Your SROs are going to be road cops.

[Eli]

They're going to move in and out. They're not you. You cannot. Here's my point. You cannot go to a job too long and forget how to do it. So maybe.

How about. How about this? Hear me out, okay? Quarterly. Hoover, you're in the. You're in Lake Mary. The world champion Lake Mary beat Vero Beach High School. I assigned you there.

Then can I get through? So let's say you're gonna be the whole year, right? You're gonna be. School starts when school start, Eli.

August.

August. So August, September, 3rd, week of September, you're going to patrol for a week. We're going to get you on the road, you're going to work a week, and you go back, and that's. You have to. My point is, you have to stay proficient in that job. So I can't send you to a position and go. Hoover's been in the school for.

So you need to have a surplus of SROs.

[Eli]

No, no, no. I'm gonna put a real guy because I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna fix it for you. The road guy is gonna get a week in your school to understand SROs. Now, you're both learning both ends of the dub, and you're both staying proficient in multiple areas. So I take Dilks as work in that zone. I. Hey, Dose. You're going to Hoover school for a week. He's gonna. You're gonna. You're gonna do the SRO job, because in reality, your job is to stop a bad guy from killing every. All the kids, all the other little quirks in the doors, in the lunchroom schedule. You can figure all that out, right? We'll get. We'll get you a schedule. Your goal is the SRO is to make sure that a bad guy doesn't come in and kill everybody. So I'm gonna dual train both of you by keeping Hoover proficient in patrol, by going back to the road every Six or eight weeks for a week. And Dilks is going to get a little SRO experience. Understand like, like how this school work and it just benefits the public. And then we're gonna do that across the board. Everybody. You can't. My point being is you can't lose the road proficiency because that is the function. Chitwood driving to work. No vest. He's a right. He's an ass. Whatever we're calling him, he doesn't have any proficiency in that area. Detectives driving around in sweatpants or pants and high heels for, for wait years.

[Mike]

Detectives roll around in sweatpants sense.

[Eli]

I'm sure some do. I bet Nick did. But my point is, even administration, my command staff, Captain Jones of that's a made up person of whatever unit. Hey, Jones, you're going out quarterly and you're gonna go work the road for a week. You're gonna go work with your guys. You take some reports, take some calls, stay proficient. So when somebody says get on the ground, you don't go, oh my God, I can't believe he said to this young man. No, because you realize what's going on out there in the community and that shit's wild.

Yeah.

[Eli]

And you learn. You remember what a crash report and you remember what it's like to. Don't forget to put your traffic vest on when you get out of the car. Oh, dude, these guys are morons. I saw a guy without a vest on. I think bulletproof vest, traffic vest. Hey, hey, have you worked the road? Have you seen how you know how much is going on when you roll up on a crash? You remember what it's like in a chaotic rollover.

[Mike]

You need to hire me as the guy that can bring these ideas to. And I go, here's how it's really, it's really in reality going to play out. You're gonna get the. The idea is great on paper until you start getting these guys on the road. And then it. You're like, holy. They have to go through fto. Like they have to do an FTO phase. I can't. I. These guys, they're already going to be hired.

They're already cop. This is the cops that already worked there.

[Mike]

What about the SROs that are SROs, right?

[Eli]

We're not doing that. No, no, no. But an SRO is going to work the road first.

[Mike]

But what about the SROs that have been in schools for 20?

[Eli]

They got to come out. Yeah, they're gonna have to go. Yeah. Oh yeah.

[Mike]

They're gonna have to figure like, dude,

[Eli]

you have to be. Because what. Here. Here's where the dis. Here's where the disservice is. You did the perfect example. I get. I get elected tomorrow. You're in 20 years in the school. If I just ignore the fact that Hoover all summer is going to drive around.

[Mike]

Yep.

And work the road and get killed and not do. Until it. Until he ends up on this critical incident. He gets murdered, and I got to drive to your house and tell Eli you're dead because I allowed your dad to go 20 years without being proficient in his job.

Problem. Not you. You're the problem as well. But I'm.

I'm more of the problem because I allowed it to happen. Like walk by the problem. So you're, you know, you the problem. You walk by. Whatever that's saying is. I'm sure my wife, she rattles it off. The problem. You walk by is worse to the guy working whatever it is.

So if I know, hey, that Guy's been in SRO for 15 years. He hasn't worked a road, and then he's going to go to the road all summer and fake it. That's not good for you. That's not helping the citizens or you. So there's a way to quarterly keep everybody in the game. You keep everybody in the game, and their mind stays fresh. And that also teaches. Brings respect. You still respect that other job. And, you know, I'm a. I'm a. I'm a detective. I don't have to direct traffic. I don't have to work across. Well, keeps you humble. What if we have a hurricane? What happens in Hurricane Alpha Bravo? 12 hour shifts, the whole road. Everybody goes the road.

[Mike]

As a young cop, every now and again, legends would come by and start doing work with you. And you're like, what are you doing? And they're like, I'm not above you. Like, I. This is. I'm a deputy. I might be, you know, a detective or on street crimes or on SWAT or just a legend in general, but at the end of the day, a lot. A bunch of guys have always told me, I'm a deputy. I'm the same as you. I'm on a higher pay scale because I've been here longer. But I am the same rank as you, deputy, too, technically.

[Eli]

Well, when I made sergeant and there was a crash, and I went. And I'm like, I'm. I was 12, 80, whatever. I was. Whatever I call it. And I'M cracking weight. Like, no, I was in great shape as a sergeant. 1212 was South county, and then 80 as a sergeant already. So I go to the crash. I get there and it's minor. I'm like, hey, start doing it. Like, three zone cars would pull up. I got it, I got it. I'm like, no, I got it. They're like, no. I'm like, I'm working the crash, dude. It's gonna take me nine minutes. It's not like I'm gonna do a massive investigation where I have to be available for like a. But it's like, don't lose that proficiency. If everybody thought that way as a supervisor and didn't go, well, I'm better. I'm not taking a report. I'm not taking a crap. Like, that's. That's a self diagnosis of how to stay. That's why I would do it, is. That's how I stayed proficient. I'm like, I told you. My lieutenant finally had to go, dude, you can't keep going to the jail with warrants. You're a sergeant now. Like, you have to be out here. So when something happens, I need you out here. And I'm like, God damn it.

Here's what happens when you. When you send a real road guy. Guy somewhere. So when I started at Volusia county under Chitwood, Chitwood's first month in office was the month I was sworn in as a cop. December 2, 2016. That was the first he took over from Ben Johnson. And I will give Chitwood credit, he had the old regime ousted. They were pieces of. They were a good old boy, like, cover up stuff. He now it's like the better of two evils you're talking about. But he had them ousted. But. But the old regime got me and sent me like they didn't like me. So they sent me to the courthouse for. I was there for six months. So I got.

Bro, I didn't know you were a courthouse deputy.

[Mike]

I quit hard. Well, I don't know.

For me, I got sent there and. And when I got there, dude, all the. All the employees that were in the courthouse are like, what's with you? Why are you different? And I remember specifically a bottle of water spilled and I went to the bathroom with my coffee in uniform, and I cleaned it up. And the guy. I've never seen a courthouse deputy do anything. No, I'm like, well, I work here. Like, you're not the janitor, so who. Who's gonna Clean.

It just stays there.

And just walk around it.

And it's like I was the guy. Like, you just can't take a road guy out and put him in there without them standing out. I mean, everything I did, I was like, you know, road guys would get in trouble there because they're just. Just bored out of their mind. And so I applied to Orange county when I was in this because I had no there. There was no. Like, they lateral transferred me. And it was. Until we feel like it. And I was like, I'm gonna be in here forever. So I applied to Orange County. They found out about my application process and put me back out on the road. Offered me a new car. Oh, yeah. And then I hit him with a. I was working with Orange and they were like, we are literally going to hold off on everything contacting Volusia until we can bring you on as a civilian. And the recruiter was like, when I give you the green light, you're gonna put in your two weeks. And then we're gonna. Because he's like, I don't trust. I don't trust that agency to botch it. But anyway, let's finish this. Let's finish this.

If you're struggling a little bit, the instructors at the academy and then the instructors at the department are well versed. They'll get you right and they'll make sure that you pass. We'll put in a lot of training

and you'll be all right, but we'll make sure you pass. That's the most dangerous words I've ever heard.

We're not gonna make you excellent. We're not going to make you proficient. We're just gonna make sure you pass.

Dangerous, Very dangerous guys are taking away your constitutional rights guys. They'll kill you using flat cameras. They'll bring their Axon.

Shitwood's gonna teleport through a flock camera and cuss you out if you do something. Means had to have the perfect, perfect shooting score. As long as you're able to shoot and qualify with your firearm.

When it comes to dealing with firearms,

the department is open and teaches everyone and go through the process. Officer DANIEL this is a. If you guys ever wonder why we have Izzo. He's. He is Dominic Izzo for sure. But he's very articulate with this Mike

the cop know that I blame them specifically for this. And they had such a good intentions. Over 10 years ago when police officers being vilified, demonized every single day on the street, there was something that needed to show that we support them. And Daniels and Mike, the cops started the humanizing the badge movement. What had happened, beyond their intent was the fact that people got so pro police that there is nothing cops can do that is ever going to be wrong. And that gave police now carte blanche to say we don't need standards, we don't need excellence. And our performance can be subpar because we are human. And you see this every single day online. Police officers who are so fat and obese and small, they escalate use of force because they don't know what their training is. And now we have a police department openly acknowledging that the highest level of responsibility tool, a pistol, on every police officer out there. It doesn't matter what your level of qualifications are. As long as you come to work every single day with a good attitude and good intent and your heart, you're gonna be okay. It absolutely blows me away that we have now this profession where countless men and women get involved because they feel it's a calling. I was five years old. I knew I wanted to be a cop. My father was a cop, my uncle was a cop, my brother was a cop. But at the same time, when they take this calling and they claim it's all about the professionalism, they'll be the first to. I don't need to go to the gym or the range. I can't spend the money. I can't afford it. The department doesn't pay me more. We are at such a crossroads in law enforcement where we now have you, the blue line supporter, brainwashed to believe that these cops can shoot, kill, maim, wrongfully charge your loved one and it doesn't matter because the intent in their heart was true. And you back the blue. And they are human beings. This should absolutely terrify you that a police department openly admitted that their rounds going down range don't matter as long as you have love in your heart. If they're willing to do this with bullets, what are they willing to do and accept with everything else?

Markmanship was very important when they're in that situation. Right. So why though are. Why is it us and Dominic Izzo? Why are we the ones taking. Like, why aren't all cop. That's my problem with cops. Why aren't all cops as mad? That agency, there's people there that work with them. They're surrounding agencies. If you're a leader of another agency, how do you watch that and go, the agency next door just told everybody it's okay to be mediocre and we'll just get you through and they can carry a gun. Like I don't want if I'm a citizen. I don't want that. I don't want that. I want RoboCop. I'm ready. I want. I want six one dudes with that are on TRT that are ready to fight. I'm sorry, like that.

Let me tell you right now. Being nice. You never heard anybody go, well, I lived because somebody nice showed up. Like, that's not violent. Human beings that are capable of great violence, but can also mask that violence and be controlled when they need to be.

Then we got to take care of that guy who may be. He goes, that was it. I expired that day.

You might have to sacrifice, but if you make the sacrifice of taking another human being's life, we're gonna give you a couple days off and you come back to work to. That sounds like an ultimate sacrifice because you don't know what you're gonna do. You don't know what's going to happen to you when you have to hit somebody with a police car and take them out that's got a rifle in the middle of the road, or you have to shoot a child, maybe a younger kid has a gun and you have to make that decision, just like the military guys. I'm not isolating military guys. You guys went through it as well. And war. But why is that not the ultimate sacrifice? Why is. Why is the goal the ultimate goal? The ultimate sacrifice is you're gonna die, Hoover. That is the best way to represent your uniform. What if you take somebody's life and you go, I wasn't ready for this. I did it right. I'm not talking about being a coward.

No. But let me flip your argument on you. The one that you. You guys use all the time against me. You know what job you're getting into, Correct. So, yeah. Now you did it. You. Now when you shoot somebody, you did it.

Yeah. I mean, everybody I know at the agency, that's mo. Everybody's done. Okay. But if they didn't, that's just as much of a sacrifice. You don't have to be in a box to give up, to do. To do the ultimate deed as a law enforcement officer. That might be it. That might be the day you go, hey, man, I ran in this house and I Had to kill two people. It was a hostage situation. I drugged the lady out. Like you said, I think you've won the game. Like, you can't. Were you gonna be how many times you beat the game now? And you know, and it's not like you can pull a hamstring and go, hey, I'm out, Sarge. Like, I'm done for my career. I want 25 years.

That to me is just as, you know, why do we have to abuse you for whatever and make you go through all this mental health stuff if that was it for you? But it's ironic that the ultimate thing that we do as law enforcement is get killed. That's really what. What is. That's. That's the most heroic thing you're gonna do. And. And you may save a life and you may not come out of it. I mean, think about it. Do you imagine hitting somebody with a car? Like, that's cool, right? Right. We all look at on the Internet, dudes running around the rifle, and you smoke him at 40. He barrels over your windshield and you watch him die. But

Exactly. That's what I'm getting at. And that's. That's the difference in, you know, the guy that dodges, you know, sick call, the guy that's on sick call and milks workers comp. And the guy who goes, today's the day, man. And then he writes the check and that's it. Because the check is always dying. The ultimate check is dying. Well, maybe it's not. And that's where I look at law enforcement from. A different aspect is we. We, you know, we. We have to take care of these guys. And maybe it's one and done. Maybe it's one and done.

This Is Chase Gomez on the left and Jonathan Lazad on the right. Two helicopter pilots that assisted in the capsized boat last year and found the boat and had had them rescued. So, like, amazing. They just got honored over the weekend or last week at a national ceremony. But two dudes, you know, you think helicopter pilots, right? Like. But they're. They're in the game. They went to a specialty position. They got it. Lozado is actually just a street cop and actually put himself through flight school and then got his hours on at the agency and is now a pilot. Both really good dudes. And you know, this is proof. These two guys are proof that you can go to a specialty unit and just not slouch off and suck up the cold AC Take the job extremely serious. Always available when you call them. Just two really good dudes. I. I sent them a message congratulating both of them on that.

Yeah, they got an award from like a. Not only the agency, but they got like a national award from. From. For a rescue over. Like I said that. Think about it. That. That job's. We just assume. Just like canine. We just assume that the pilot of the canine are going to be amazing. And a lot of times they're not. They just get in those jobs sometimes and special units. And I don't think people. You know, you watch tv, you think it's. Oh, it's easy. They got all those fleers and they got all that stuff. They still have to train in it. And these guys are. And he was actually doing that, working overtime as a pilot. He was a pilot at the time. Working patrol that day. So I got to stay proficient, stay proficient on the road. Was working the road with me.
