It was stolen like months ago, maybe years ago. I will explain in just one moment. We'll get into that. Plus why Zor Momdani is cosplaying as a Knicks fan. What happened at the TPUSA Women's Conference over the weekend? What the hell is going on in the Middle east and a short trip to the movies and things I like and things I hate. Welcome to the Ben Shapiro Show. So over the weekend, one of these sort of hot news items is that President Trump did a long interview with Kristen Welker and eventually he got annoyed and left and One of the reasons that he left, apparently it was sort of an uncomfortable situation physically. They were interviewing in a tent just outside in the rain and he'd been there for about an hour. And she later revealed that he said he would do another interview with her, not in the rain. In any case, this was the hot talk over the weekend because the President got up in the middle of the interview because he was annoyed with Welker and took off. He was talking about election integrity at the time. Here's how it went. Your elections in this country, we're like a third world country. Your elections are crooked and you're crooked and Meet the Press is crooked and so is ABC and CBS and CNN. But Mr. President, one sided, crooked networks, right? Let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time. Mr. President, let's please. I traveled all the way to Wisconsin. I've sat all I know for an hour on and off in the rain. And I've given you enough time. You ought to straighten out your press because you know what? A country can never be great with a dishonest. Listen, we traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview. So obviously the President very, very annoyed with Kristen Welker. And he'd sat there for about an hour. But the thing that ticked him off is they he was pushing on the election integrity stuff and she was pushing back. Which brings us to California. So there was a mayoral election June 2nd in LA, that mayoral election. The initial results showed that the top two finishers were going to be Karen Bass, the current mayor of la, who is a crazy leftist, and Spencer Pratt, who's running as an independent slash Republican, the former reality TV star who'd been running this extremely viral online campaign. And the other person who was in the running was a person named Nithya Rahman, who's on the LA City Council and is a complete psychotic leftist. So you have Karen Bass, a person who literally trained in Cuba as a revolutionary, and she is the moderate Democrat in that particular race. Well, the initial results came in on June 2, the evening of June 2, and it looked as though Spencer Pratt and Karen Bass were going to be the people who were going to win. The very early results on election night showed that Pratt was up some 25,000 votes on ramen. And meanwhile, Karen Bass was up another 30,000 votes on Spencer Pratt. And then as the election results came in, by June 4th and 5th, basically the voting results for Spencer Pratt had flatlined and you started to see this fairly significant incremental increase in votes for Nithya rahman. So by June 6, the mayoral counts started to shift radically in favor of Nithya Raman. Now, one of the things that's fascinating here is that you can see that basically the lines for Karen Bass and Nithya Rahman start elevating at the same rate between June 4th and 5th and June 6th, and. And they flatline completely for Spencer Pratt. Which means that virtually all of the early votes that were cast on the, on the sort of Rahman vs Pratt side, were cast in favor of Pratt or at least heavily biased for Brat. And all the late breaking votes, meaning the mail in ballots, were heavily biased toward Nithya Rahman. This is not a glitch. It is the blueprint. Now, I know a lot of people right now are very upset about the fact that the initial results look more Republican, more conservative, and then as more results come in, the graphs tend to shift toward Democrats. And we saw this obviously in 2020, most obviously when the early results seem to show President Trump in lead. And everybody had been talking about the fact that mail in ballots, which in many cases were counted after the actual day of election, those would shift toward blue because Democrats were voting significantly by mail. Well, according to state regulations in California. So when I say that the election was stolen months ago, what I mean is that the state regulations benefit ballot harvesting. I think the way that people think of stolen elections is generally wrong. I don't think that you have a bunch of people who are sitting there falsifying ballots, or you have a ballot tabulator who is sitting there picking up an empty ballot, filling in a fake name or fake ID number and then writing in the ballot. I don't think that's what's actually happening here. What's actually happening is widespread voter registration and then ballot harvesting. According to state regulations in California, first time voters can register using, I'm not even making this up, a commercial credit card or a health club id. So that LA Fitness ID is somebody got five years ago and never used because they're fatty. They can use that to register to vote. The law in California explicitly says any doubt must be liberally construed to let a person cast a regular ballot with zero real verification, by the way. Now when you combine legal ballot harvesting with a total collapse of voter id, you end up with some pretty shady election practices. And this is why I think people were sort of shocked here. Nithya Rahman, the night of the election, gave a speech crying. It looked as though she would basically conceded the race. And then it turns out now that she probably will be in the runoff against Karen Bass. Decision desk called that race last night for Nithya Rahman and Karen Bass and cut Spencer Pratt completely out of the final two. This is a flashback to election night when Rahman thought she was going to lose. I hope you know that everything every person in this room is fighting for in this case campaign has been about building a city that's worthy of you and every child in this city. Okay, so it looked as though she was gonna lose. Well, Spencer Pratt has reacted to this 43,000 vote swing from election night. He's at a net swing of more than 43,000 votes since Tuesday. 43,000, huh? Where have I seen that number before? Probably nothing. Well, that 43,000 is a reference to the fact that The City of LA currently has approximately 43,695 homeless people, including people in temporary shelters. Now, again, what does that mean? Well, it means that ballot harvesters will go to homeless shelters and then they will ask people if they wish to vote and then they will help them mark the ballot in some cases, or they'll stand over them while they mark the ballot and then they will take those ballots to a Dropbox and drop them off. According To California's Vote 411, you can cast a valid vote by mail as long as your ballot is postmarked or dropped off in a Dropbox on election day. And in 2021, California law mandated that every active voter in the state receive a mail in ballot. And so what you've seen since 2016 is a radical increase in not only voter turnout in California, but a radical increase in mail in balloting in California. In the 2024 election cycle, 80% of all Californians voted by mail, 72% of LA county voted by mail. Voter turnout in 2024 was 62.1%. That is the second highest turnout in California state history. That is higher than 2008 when Barack Obama was on the ballot. And you got this sort of historic voter turnout in 2020, which of course was a wild outlier election because of COVID 87% of all Californians voted by mail, 78% of LA county voted by mail. And voter turnout was almost 70%, the highest in modern history in California. I mean, that stuff is pretty dicey. Pretty dicey. If you wonder one of the reasons why President Trump has talked so much about the stolen 2020 election. And again, I think the evidence is scanty that there was voter fraud sufficient to overcome the burden of proof. It is worth saying, however, that 24 states and Washington, D.C. allowed a voter to designate any person to drop off their completed ballot. So what ballot harvesters do is they go to the houses of the people who they know are registered Democrats. They knock on the door, they say, give me your ballot. I want to make sure that it gets in on time. Some states allowed a designated person to return an unlimited number of ballots, like California. Other states put a cap on the quantity to prevent large scale operations. So California, Colorado, for example, caps at 10 ballots per person. But in California, you can go pick up 100 ballots like you're a Democratic state representative, a party worker. You go out and you pick up 500 ballots from addresses that you know are registered Democrats, boosting your voter turnout. That's the reason why President Trump is very sketchy on the 2020 election. Because again, the combination of mail in voting and ballot harvesting meant that two thirds of Americans turned out to vote in 2020. If you wonder why people are suspicious about our elections, this would be the reason. Again, the question is not whether or not the ballots that are coming in are, quote, unquote, legit or not. The question is, who's doing the voting? Are these people who would normally show up to vote are these people who are basically the equivalent of 19th century drunk voters. So back in the 19th century, balloting, shall we say, was a little bit loose. And so what you would do is you would have people to an election party, you'd get them unbelievably drunk, you'd give them a keg, and then you'd have them vote once, sometimes twice, because there was no way to actually police it. Well, if you're going to a homeless shelter for voting, I understand that a lot of people who believe that drug addicts and, and paranoid schizophrenics have a right to vote. I will say it's a little strange if all those votes turn out to be Democrat. And so if you're wondering why people in LA are frustrated, this would be the reason why. And it doesn't help that you have the results that tend to change over time. And California is almost built for this because by law, you are supposed to count the mail in ballots because you can mail in your ballot until the day of the election. Because of that, the ballots, the mail in ballots aren't counted until the day of election. Votes have been counted. And so you see a major change in election results in Florida, by contrast, your mail in ballot has to be sent in advance and it's all tabulated before election day. And that means that Election Day results are available basically the minute the polls close California. That is not the case. But the bottom line is this. It is hard to think of a better case for the Republican SAVE act than what has been going on in states like California for years. Ballot harvesting is the enemy of good voter policy. It is a recipe for corruption. It is a recipe for the sort of again, drunk voter type model. It is quite bad. And I'd be fascinated to find out what is the voter turnout percentage for people living in homeless shelters in LA who can't be bothered to find a place to live and aren't helped by the state in terms of finding a place to, you know, dry out or get treatment but somehow find the time to vote. I would imagine in kind of shockingly high percentage. All right, coming up, Zor Momdani is cosplaying as a Knicks fan. So is aoc. It's so obnoxious. First, most people spend a tremendous amount of time thinking about how to grow their business, but not nearly enough time thinking about how to protect their business. And that is understandable because growth is exciting. Risk management, not so much. But here's the reality. Your business faces risk every single day. Your business is always evolving. You're hiring people, expanding operations, taking on new responsibilities and new opportunities create new risks. That's why I want to tell you about Super Sure. Super sure is the super agency built specifically for growing businesses that are licensed in every state and they provide both business insurance and employee benefits along with year round support for you and your team. All your policies in just one place. Again, that's super sure.com Shapiro paid for by Super Sure Insurance Agency, LLC, a licensed insurance agency. And meanwhile, speaking about places that are horribly governed, all eyes on New York tonight for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. I have to say, one of the things that annoys me more than almost anything in politics is when people pretend to be fake sports fans. It drives me up a wall. I hate it. I hate it with the fiery passion of a thousand Suns. I despise it. I'm a die hard lifelong Chicago White Sox fans. My great consternation is a horrible fate. Although they're playing well this year, Barack Obama famously was a quote unquote White Sox fan, by which I mean he pretended he was a White Sox fan. I, I'm annoyed by 1 million things about Barack Obama. One of the most ridiculous things Barack Obama ever said. He was at Kamisky park, which he called Kaminsky park. And he suggested he was asked, who is your favorite White Sox player? He was wearing a socks cap. And he said, I like all of them. Which is the same answer my wife could give and she doesn't understand baseball. Well, we are seeing that play out in New York right now as Zoran Momdani cosplays as a die hard Knicks fan. First of all, we should point to the cal odds. So 54% of people believe that the Knicks are going to win tonight compared to 46% for San Antonio. I have to say I will be very, very, very upset if the Knicks sweep the Spurs. My son will be even more upset. My son is really annoyed. There are a lot of New York fans down here in Florida and apparently they annoy him at school. Our sponsor Kalshee again says 54% for New York, 46% for San Antonio, and man, San Antonio totally blew that game Friday night. Just a heartbreaking, horrible end of game for Victor Wembanyanama. Just, just terrible all the way through. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I cannot allow Brent Shur, our editor in chief, to win this bet that he has with me because then I'll have to continue to employ him. I think that was the bet. I will say that my son was so upset by all of the Knicks fans down here who are nasty and they taunt people and they're just the worst. The Knicks fans are the worst. They're just, ugh, insufferable. So what I told him to make him feel better is that I'll lay a little money on the Knicks and that way if the Knicks win, I'll buy him some extra basketball cards. And if the Knicks lose, then he can taunt his friends from New York. Anyway, both President Trump and Zoran Mandani plan to be at the Knicks game Tonight. Now, Trump is a longtime Knicks fan. I mean, you can find him at Knicks games going back decades. Zoran Mandani discovered he was a Knicks fan about the time he wanted to run for mayor. This drives me up a wall. He famously showed up wearing like a brand new Knicks jersey in the middle of the mayoral election. And he showed up in the nosebleed seeds because Eric Adams was mayor of New York. He was down on the floor and mom Donnie wanted to cosplay as a blue collar New Yorker. So he went up into the rafters and pretended he was a Knicks fan. Well, now Smarmy McSmarmalot is claiming that he and Trump share a love for New York City. He loves New York City so much that he wants to kill it. If you love something, never let it go. Strangle it to death. Here is Zoran Mandani again. The smarm factor on this dude is so high, it's astonishing. It is unfair in that I have an advantage in that we are both from New York City and we share a love of this city amidst many disagreements that we have, whether about the country or about the city. And one thing that the President said to me as well as to the public is the better this city does, the happier he is. And in that, I ensure that our conversations are focused on how we can do better for the city. And that doesn't mean shying away from disagreement. You know, I've sat directly with the President and I've spoken to him about the that fact that I believe that ICE raids are cruel and inhumane. I believe they do nothing to serve the interests of public safety. It just means being honest and ensuring that it isn't a conversation around personality or the two people who are there, but rather around the people of New York City and how we can deliver for them. Now, the Shah of Smarm apparently is also going to attend the game, but he says he's going to be in a very different section because of course the President will be sitting near the floor. Those tickets are going for something insane. $150,000 a ticket to be on the floor. Mamdani says that he's going to pay for it himself, which again is a rich people problem because the tickets up in the rafters are going for 7, $8,000. Mamdani spokesperson says the mayor is paying his own way, which again is not a poor person thing. Just going to point out if you're a true blue collar person in New York, you are watching this game at home because those tickets are going for a Lot of money. He is not the only politician cosplaying as a die hard Knicks fan. AOC got a henna tattoo for the Knicks. Just going to point out that I believe the first documented showing that AOC is a Knicks fan, like really a Knicks fan, was like 20, 22, four years after she was elected to Congress. I hate this stuff so much. I really hate it. It's so phony and fake. Now here is, here is AOC suddenly a Knicks fan. She is. She is. The Knicks have also enacted a no bag policy, TSA style security. So apparently it's. It's only bad for us to have this in our, in our, you know, actually having law enforcement check security. Only appropriate Knicks games. Everywhere else bad, they're in. They are putting forward a strict no bag policy. JLo had a hot take. She says you have to be born in New York to be a New Yorker. Interesting, Interesting take. That means that Zormandani is not a New Yorker since he was born in Uganda. So what's your take? You have to be born in New York to be a New Yorker. Yes, I know everybody wants to claim the city. No, I know everybody wants to claim our city, but you have to be born in New York. You have to be born in one of the five boroughs to be a New Yorker. Mmm. Well, you should have a conversation with the mayor. You know, Zahramdani is conflating poverty and being black in New York, you know, as one would do if one were a tacit racist. And when we talk about a focus on the cost of living crisis, we know that for black New Yorkers, that's not an intellectual concern. The City has lost 200,000 black New Yorkers over the last few decades alone. From 2010 to 2019, we saw a 19% drop in the population of black children and teenagers. So in focusing on the affordability crisis, in delivering on that crisis, we are finally bringing the struggles of black New Yorkers and New Yorkers across the five boroughs to the heart of our politics and not just to the footnotes of it. So again, apparently being poor and being black, same thing. Also, Mamdani says it's time to develop a new vision for the Democratic Party. That new vision presumably will be being psychotic socialists. What do you say to people who say language? And There's Democrats in D.C. who say language like abolish ICE are unhelpful for the political health of the Democratic Party? I think if we, we've listened to them before and look where we are, I think it's time to develop a new vision for this party, one that is unflinching in its beliefs and also uncompromising in its principles. Well, by the way, the new vision for the Democratic Party looks like zormandani, meaning unapologetically anti Semitic and socialist. Which brings us back to Graham Platner, who, let's hope for everyone's sake there were no home invaders at Graham Platner's house last night. Or anytime, actually, because once again, it was reported last week and his campaign did not deny it. That Graham Platner, the Democratic senator candidate for Maine, has said that if someone tried to invade his home, he would rape them out of a desire for dominance, not because he's gay. Never gonna get over that one. It's been days. I'm not gonna get over that one. But Graham Platinum, another part of the Zorn Mamdani wing of the Democratic Party, here he was preaching his socialist nonsense from his perch atop an oyster farm that feeds his mommy's restaurant, saying, hard work isn't enough anymore. Grand planner, go. When I was a kid growing up in Sullivan, I remember guys who you could stern in the summer, plow in the winter, do some carpentry, do some reeds, and that was enough. That was enough to live a small but decent life, enough to own your home, enough to send your kid to a decent school, enough to maybe even save a little bit for retirement. I knew clam diggers that put their kids through college. It's not enough anymore. You do that seasonal work. You're also taking on an extra shift at Home Depot or at Walmart or you're not fishing. Because instead of being able to go out and make a living on the sea, you've got to take some shoreside job just so you can get health insurance for your family. That clam digger, that guy's kid's now taking on a lifetime of debt just to go to school. And that changed in my lifetime. Again, this guy is blue collar, hard scrabble. Clam digger is a hell of a pitch, but this is the Democratic Party. All right, coming up, Graham Platner. You know, when he's not trying to rape home invaders, he's blaming everybody else for noticing that he said that kind of stuff. Well, mostly he's just blaming the Jews. We'll get to that in a moment. First, most Americans assume their medical information is private, and in one sense, it is. Under hipaa, doctors and medical professionals are legally prohibited from sharing your medical information without your consent. That's fine. Federal law but there's a strange loophole in the system that almost nobody thinks about. The moment you leave the doctor's office and start searching for information online. Symptoms, medications, possible conditions. Suddenly your privacy largely disappears. Every search, every click, every article you read can be tracked, recorded, compiled into a behavioral profile connected to you. Data brokers can package that information and sell it. Companies can use it to target advertising. Again. When it comes to your Internet privacy, that data is your business. And that's one reason why tools like ExpressVPN matter. ExpressVPN sends your online activity through secure, encrypted servers, so Internet providers, data brokers, third parties can't easily monitor the websites you visit or the apps you use. And the practical reality is that most people are carrying around enormous amounts of personal information on their devices every single day. Financial information, medical searches, private conversations, family photos, all of it. ExpressVPN makes protecting that information extremely simple. One click. And it works across phones, tablets, desktops, smart TV, up to 14 devices at the same exact time. Right now, you can get ExpressVPN at just3.49amonth. That's less than 12 cents a day. My fans can get an extra four months. When you use my special link, go to expressvpn.com Ben get four extra months of ExpressVPN. That's E X P R E S S vpn.com Ben Great video emerged from Maine of a Graham Platner supporter suggesting, as I said last week, as not really a joke, but kind of a joke, that a tattoo of the flag of Israel would get him removed from the Senate race. Whereas if you have a tattoo, you know of the Nazis and apparently not. Well, don't worry. Graham Platner has his defenders, including Ro Khanna, who's out there saying that all the allegations from last week, including him grabbing Lindsey Fifield and throwing her in a bathroom and locking the door, or him sharpening an act while watching tv, or him saying that he wanted to rape home invaders. Actually, that's not evidence of violence. Actually, it's all good. It's all good, says Ro Khanna. There's nothing credible at this point. My view is that even according to the New York Times piece, they said there was no harm, no injury, there was toxicity, and there was verbal intimidation, which I condemn. But Graham has made it clear that there was no evidence of violence. That, to me, is a red line. Oh, the red line would be like if he's what? He admitted to it, that would be the red line. So he doesn't admit to It. Because allegedly. But if he admitted to it, that would apparently be the red line. John Fetterman, the last honest Democrat in the Senate, he points out that there are all of these sexts, from Graham Platner to various women, and also that he was on the grooming site Kick that he had profiled there. And Fetterman says to Platner, listen, I wear a hoodie, but I will put on a suit every single day. If you can prove that none of your sexts were to underage people. Yeah, well, I know, of course, I never heard from Pete Hussle, but what's strange with Pete Hussle is back in April, he was doing an interview on that pro Hamas ZDEO network or whatever that thing is, and he said that I am. I am the bane of his existence and really was angry how I dress, too. And now I said, now, P. Hustle. Here's a great chance, you know, you can just prove that all these people that you're dropping those dick pics and saying these things to were over 18. And now I will. I will wear a suit every day in the Senate. And now you can set the record clear and prove, provide all those texts and all those conversations that you were having as a newlywed just before you were going to run for the Senate. Well, Fetterman's honesty has not endeared him to Platner. And Platner, as a Nazi would, immediately goes to. It's the Jews. So Fetterman, who is not Jewish, and the idea is that Fetterman is going after Platner because of, wait for it, the Jews. Of course, of course. Because this is where every dumb online conversation ends. Platner put out a statement. John Fetterman seems to genuinely think the reason no one likes him is because he refuses to wear a suit. It's not the hoodie, dude. It's because you've become a stooge for AIPAC and the Republican Party. Well, that's weird, since he votes 90% of the time with the Democrats. And then it turns out that apparently it's not just Fetterman, it's also Susan Collins. It turns out everyone is in the pay of the nefarious Yudin. According to Graham Platner. You can take the Nazi tattoo off the Nazi, but he remains, you know. Anyway, he put out a tweet. Susan Collins's latest financial report just came out. A staggering one third of her money raised this quarter came directly from aipac. Susan Collins is bought and paid for by Benjamin Netanyahu. And she votes accordingly. I'll point out at this point that AIPAC is not run by Benjamin Netanyahu, that AIPAC is a bunch of Jewish and Christian Americans who like Israel. And then naturally, Abdul El Sayed, who himself is a terrorist supporter, put out a statement. AIPAC is going to spend $30 million to try and buy a U.S. senate seat from the people of Michigan. $30 million. Okay. How much are the Democrats and their anti Semitic allies going to spend to buy a Senate seat in Michigan? It's just wonderful. And then Hakeem Jeffries was asked, do Democrats have an anti Semitism problem? And he was like, no, everything's fine, everything's fine. Just ask the guy with the Nazi tattoo. Or maybe our terrorist supporting mayor in New York. Or maybe our terrorist supporting candidate in Michigan. Or maybe the actual guy who testified on behalf of a terrorist running for Congress in New Jersey. No, no, no. We don't have an anti Semitism problem at all. Blaming the Jews seems like a risky defense for a guy with a Nazi tattoo who's trying to convince people that it was just an innocent mistake and it doesn't mean anything. Are you concerned that your party has an anti Semitism problem? He's going to have to speak for himself. And that's what any candidate, particularly in a high profile race, is going to be called upon to listen. The effort to crush anti Semitism in America shouldn't be a partisan issue. It can't be a red or blue issue. It's a red, white and blue issue. It's an American issue. And we should all be committed to crushing anti Semitism and all other forms of hatred into the ground, bury it and make sure it can never rise again. Unless you need to be the nefarious, horrible right wing zealot Susan Collins, in which case the guy with the Nazi tattoo, maybe he's okay and maybe so is the terrorist supporter in Michigan and the terrorist supporter in New York and the terrorist supporter in New Jersey and various other terrorist supporters around the country who are running as Democrats. Yeah, it's going well for the left and the Democratic Party when it comes to anti Semitism. All right, over to the Middle East. So things got hot again over in the Middle east over the weekend. So the quick update in terms of timing is that over the weekend Israel had made clear that if Hezbollah, which is a terrorist group, an Iranian backed terror group located in Lebanon, that if they fired into northern Israel, that Israel would strike at leadership of Hezbollah in Beirut. Now remember, the Lebanese government is not Hezbollah. The Lebanese government is actually on the side of disarming Hezbollah. So Israel and the Lebanese government are on the same side of this particular thing. Right. In fact, the Lebanese President Joseph Ayoun said to the irgc, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, which again is Hezbollah, it is not your country. He's going to point out that when Israel is doing stuff in Lebanon, they are not targeting the Lebanese government, they are targeting Hezbollah. According to the Lebanese president Joseph Ayoun, it's not your country, it's our country. It's our obligation. It's not your job to interfere into our country. I reject the statement totally because our people being killed, our houses being destroyed, they are using Lebanon as a bargaining chip in their negotiation with the United States. It's unacceptable. And here also Hezbollah must understand that. Hezbollah must understand that no other way but to sit and talk. No other way to solve this problem and to save what's left except through negotiation and diplomacy. Okay, so Hezbollah, the Iranian terror group located in Lebanon, has been panicking and so they've been firing into Israel in an attempt to get Iran to defend them. So Abbas Araki, who's the foreign minister of Iran, is similarly attempting to reconstruct the Iranian axis of terror. So Iran has a bunch of terror groups that it supports all over the region ranging from Hamas to the Houthis in Yemen to Hezbollah in Lebanon. So Abbas Arahi put up a tweet show, this demonstrates, showing that they are trying to tie together Iran and Lebanon. So his entire tweet is just the Iranian flag and the Lebanese flag, as though Iran and Lebanon are basically the same thing. So Netanyahu had said if Hezbollah fires on Israeli citizens in Israel, then we are going to attack in Tahiya, which is a segment of Beirut that everyone knows is run by Hezbollah. And Iran said if you do that, then we are going to strike Israel. So Iran again has been trying to tie together Hezbollah and Iran. They've been trying to tie together Lebanon and Iran for a while because they're afraid of losing their allies over in Lebanon. They're afraid that their most powerful ally, Hezbollah is going to be defenestrated by the Israeli military and now by the Lebanese as well. And so they say if you do this, then we're gonna fire missiles at Israel. That is their whole goal. That's their whole goal. So on Sunday the Iranians fired some 10 missiles at Israel because Israel hit Tahia and The Iranians fired 10 missiles. And when they fired these 10 missiles, the question was, would Israel strike back Now? No self respecting country on planet Earth can have missiles fired at it by another country and not respond. That would be absurd. All these missiles were cruise missiles capable of killing hundreds, maybe thousands of people. They were all shot down by the IAF and the American military or fell in open areas. And so the question was, would Israel fight back now? Obviously they have to. They have to because otherwise they have now given Iran the ability to basically veto any self defense action Israel takes at any point. Hezbollah has been taking again offensive action that has killed dozens of Israelis over the course of the last couple of months because Israel had to move into southern Lebanon and, and they moved into southern Lebanon because Hezbollah was firing over the border into northern Israel. And the reason Iran is doing this right now is that Iran is basically in its death rows. The Iranian regime is on very, very thin ice. The blockade has been working, their economy is toast. And so now they are lashing out and they're gonna attempt to use any piece of leverage they possibly can. That is the goal, to use any piece of leverage that they possibly can. And the biggest piece of leverage that the Iranians think they have right now is the American and Western desire to open the Strait of Hormuz. That is the whole game right now. The whole game in the Middle east is who can stand the pain. That's true for any war. It's the princess bride to the pain, right? Any war is about which side has the leverage, which side can stand more pain. And it's not about the absolute amount of pain inflicted. It is about which side can stand it. This is true for any war. For example, the Vietnam War, the United States on a raw level, inflicted far more pain on the Viet Cong than the Viet Cong inflicted on the United States. In economic terms, in military terms. In military terms, the United States had a kill ratio far higher than the Viet Cong had against the United States. But the United States was unwilling to suffer a certain amount of pain. And so the United States gave up the ghost. This is true in any war. And so if you wish to win a war, you have to show one, invulnerability and two, a willingness to inflict pain right on the defensive side. You have to show that if you hit me, you can keep hitting me. I'm not going anywhere. And second, I'm going to inflict so much pain on you that you will stop what you're doing. That is the goal of every war. That is the goal of every single war. Which is why I have been saying since March, since the war was actually active, that we should seize kharg island or blow it up. That is the Iranian refinery center, responsible for the distribution of 90% of the of their oil and natural gas. Because that is an infliction of tremendous pain on the Iranian regime that probably they could not stand. It would put them on their last legs. There'd be no way for them to recover. And so I would like to see the United States inflict significantly more pain on the regime because they are not giving up the ghost. They are not. On the other hand, the United States also has to show invulnerability because it doesn't matter if we break their legs, if they're willing to have their legs broken, and if we are unwilling to deal with the pain of a hangnail, they can still seize some form of diplomatic victory out of the draws of defeat. So Iran has been trying for a while to find America's pain point. So our pain point is oil prices. That's what the President has shown. Now, what the President has done that is really brave, and I've given him tremendous political credit for it, is he says, listen, we'll stay there forever, right? We will just put our aircraft carriers right there. We will just put our shipping right there, and we will stop. We'll put our boats there, and we'll stop any Iranian oil from coming out. And if the price of oil sticks around $100 a barrel, then we'll just stay there until you guys collapse. Pretty much forever, right? We have shown a willingness to absorb that economic pain. So what Iran is now trying to do is to up the pain. Iran is trying to increase the amount of pain. It's why they closed the strait and now why they are threatening. They're looking for an excuse. It's not they care deeply about what happens in Lebanon, although they do. They care about Hezbollah. But what they are trying to do right now is increase the pain of the hangnail. They're trying to threaten that they're going to radically increase the price of oil. Now, the President's behavior since the ceasefire in April has been to talk down the oil markets, right? We're now in the middle of June, and the President has been talking down oil prices for two months. At this point, he's been keeping it hovering somewhere between 95 bucks a barrel and $110 a barrel. That's why he keeps talking openly about the negotiations. Well, what the regime is doing. The regime is trying to increase the pain. They believe that they have found the pain point. They believe that if they threaten further economic pain on the oil front that they can win back concessions from the United States that they can get, for example, the president to pressure Israel not to respond to missile attacks on it or can pressure Israel to somehow stop action against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel, of course, will not do that, nor should they. And the President, to his credit, apparently did not tell Israel not to hit Iran last night. He suggested the shooting should stop. But, and maybe I would assume he told the Israelis not to hit the people he is negotiating with. But the reality is that either if you want to end this, if you want to get to the end of this, there are basically three options. There are basically three options. You let the Iranians sit there and threaten, they threaten and threaten and threaten and you just stay there basically forever. And the oil prices continue to go up and the Strait of Hormuz continues to be closed and the Iranian government continues to fracture. Right. That is possibility number one. If that is a pain point the United States does not want to actually undergo, then the United States has a couple of choices. The United States could blow up the oil fields in Iran, destroy the South Paris oil field, blow up Kharga Island. They could do that. And we'd inflict tremendous pain on the Iranians. The Iranians are threatening that if they do, if we do that, which would basically be taking them out completely, I mean, it would do tremendous damage to them. They would then blow up the oil fields. And that is the thing that is preventing us from getting to the end of this. The Iranians are assuming that our pain point is not $100 a barrel oil. It is $200 a barrel oil. And so if they pressure us by threatening to blow up oil fields in Saudi, Qatar, UAE and Iraq, then we'll cut some sort of crappy deal. Right? That, that is the game that they are playing right now. Now, if the President does cut that crappy deal, that would be a huge, huge, historic error of massive proportions. I don't think the President's going to do that. He keeps saying he's not going to do that. So I have faith that he won't. But if he does cut that crappy deal, let's just be clear, he is listening to all the people who hate him. He's listening to all the people who have been yelling at him this entire time. He'd be listening to the Tucker Carlson's and the Candace Owens is and the Megyn Kelly's and all those people. If he cuts a crappy deal that allows Iran to rebuild its nuclear weaponry, allows Iran to rebuild its ballistic missiles, allows Iran to rebuild its terror axis. And so the question here is really one of time. How long can the United States take the pain of elevated oil prices and how high can those oil prices go before the United States does something? Now, if we wanted to get to the end of a negotiation quickly, what we should be doing is we should not be talking about. If I were advising the President, I'd tell him, Mr. President, do not talk about the negotiations publicly. Every time you talk about the negotiations publicly, the Iranians take that as a sign of weakness. They take it as a sign that they have found leverage, and they are unlikely to actually give you more things. They are likely to figure that you want the deal more than they want the deal. And therefore, they are going to continue to press and up the ante and put pressure on Israel to make military strikes on Iran or in Zahia? They're going to attempt to divide you off from your allies and force you to cut a bad deal. So talking about negotiations openly, I advise the advise the President to stop doing that. And if the President does want to get to a deal, if it's not just a matter of a stringing out the negotiations so that the blockade continues and Iran is weak, if he actually does want to get to an end deal, you have to up the pain on Iran and you have to show that you are willing to undergo pain on your side. Again, that is the formula for long a very victory in war. The formula is up the pain on the other side. Demonstrate your invulnerability on your own side. That's the entire formula. Okay, so the president over the weekend did an interview in which he suggested that Iran has already conceded they would not have nuclear weapons. Again, Iran has denied this. This is the Meet the Press interview that concluded with him walking out on Kristen Welker. Are we talking about days, weeks, months? Mr. President, I think we're very close. We have a couple of points. They don't even seem like big points points. They've conceded the fact that they will not have nuclear weapons. We had a clause in there that we will not develop nuclear weapons. And everybody was very happy with it except me. And I said, well, what happens if they not develop but they go out and purchase? They acquire. I want to put the word if they buy or purchase or acquire, you know, you've got to have that in there too, because that's not developed development. So they don't have the right to develop or purchase, acquire or buy. Okay. And the president said in this interview that he would not lift any sanctions up front that he would have to actually get the concession. So, again, no bad deal. Would you unfreeze any Iranian assets or lift any sanctions up front as a part of any deal? So that would come after. Comes after. Yeah, if they behave. Yeah. Material, unlike Obama. And the President pointed out that we have blockaded them. We are damaging them far more than they're damaging us. Is this a war as long as there's a naval blockade in place? Well, we have a blockade. It's been extremely effective. And the reason we have it is they try to blockade, and now we blockaded them, and as you know, they're losing 4 to 500 million a day. It's not sustainable for them. They have an economy that's shot in addition to everything else. Their leaders are gone, their generals are gone, their first tier and second tier are gone. Much of their third tier is gone. But they put up a blockade, and so we blockaded them, and we have the ultimate blockade. I don't consider that a war, but if you want to define it as such, I guess you can. And the President said, listen, this has not been endless. It's been three months now. This is, again, the president doing the right thing. It is him showing that he is willing to undergo a certain amount of pain in order to get to the objective. What changed? Because you insisted no new wars. First of all, I didn't guarantee no war. Why would I have built the strongest military in the world? I built our military. I inherited a terrible military. We had no equipment. We had nothing. I built a tremendous military. Biden gave a lot of it away, but it's still a relatively small portion of compared to what I built. But you said it over and over again, why would I build a military Now, I didn't want to use this, but I'm doing you and everybody else a big favor. Now, here is the question. The question is, is there really a good deal on the table? I am skeptical. I think the Iranians are trying to play Trump. I think they're trying to play Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff or the ones who are negotiating this deal. The fact you have Steve Witkoff trying to analyze what nuclear negotiation looks like, he would not be my pick for a person to negotiate a nuclear deal, given his, shall we say, lack of historic acumen in doing such things. So again, over the weekend, Iran fired these missiles. Israel went after some targets in Tehran, mainly drone and missile factories and a petrochemical complex in Mashar, which is in southwestern Iran. And the President immediately came out, and he Said Trump and Iran must immediately stop shooting. Right. This is the President's statement. He put up on Truth Social and then he put up a follow up statement that was at 4:36am and he put up a follow up statement that said Israel and Iran are looking for an immediate ceasefire, which I have questions. He said both sides, Israel and Iran are looking to do an immediate ceasefire. Final negotiations on peace are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way. The blockade will remain in place and in full force and effect until a final deal is reached. Things should move quickly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Enron has already announced that they've ended their wave of strikes toward Israel. Again, Israel should have fired back. They had no choice but to fire back. Here is Marco Rubio pointing this out just a few days ago that you'd be a moron not to shoot back when you're shot at. If you fire at a US Navy ship, what are we supposed to do? Say, oh, there's a ceasefire, we're not going to shoot down your drone. That's a stupid question. That's a stupid position to take. Of course we fired back at them. They were shooting at us. That's what I would expect to do. Only stupid countries don't shoot back when you're shot at. And we're not a stupid country. Well, that's correct and neither is Israel. Now the question is going to be what exactly comes next. Now, if it's a bad deal, the President needs to walk away from it. A good deal, we've drawn this before. A good deal looks like full scale verification of nuclear disarmament. It means shipping out the so called nuclear dust. It means no more rebuilding of ballistic missiles. It means no more terror support across the region. It means freeing up the Strait of Hormuz. That is what a good deal looks like. Anything short of that would be what we call a bad deal. And at that point we're advising the President. I would tell him, Mr. President, you need to up their pain and you need to demonstrate durability against their threats. That is what needs to happen next. Because if you demonstrate any sort of vulnerability to them, if you show that you want to deal more than they want to deal with, they'll continue to play you. Iran is out there making the case that they have a new strategic doctrine that basically anytime Israel does anything, they're going to fire missiles at Israel. The only reason they believe they can get away with that is if they believe that the President is going to put pressure on Israel not To respond, which of course would be insane. I would actually put Iran in a stronger position than they were prior to this war. I don't believe the President is going to do that. We'll have to see how all of this plays out. You were taught that the Civil Rights act was about equality, full stop. But what if the full story is a lot more complicated than your textbook ever let on? Today on Daily Wire, Matt Walsh is back with episode five of the real history of the Civil Rights Movement, Part two, the Looting of America. He's laying out exactly how a law sold as liberation became the blueprint for the modern nanny state. Government mandated outcomes, affirmative action, dei. It all traces back to that same playbook. This is the series a lot of folks on the left do not want you to take seriously. New episodes every month. Next month, Matt covers communism. If you're not a Daily Wire subscriber, now would be the time. Head on over to DailyWire.com and watch episode five, the looting of America. Understand what really happened to our cities and our country. Okay. Meanwhile, on the media front. So President Trump, in that Kristen Welker interview, he went after Kristen Welker. He said, I know you're a big lib and a big progressive, which of course is true because as you know, in the last term, we were dead country. Kristen, I know you. You're a big liberal or a big progressive. No, I'm just a journalist. We were a dead country. Okay, so she says she's just a journalist. Yeah, the journalists at places like Meet the Press, they are not actually. They are not actually just objective journalists, obviously. And it's always funny in the post journalistic life of every one of these pseudo objective journalists, they demonstrate exactly what they are five seconds later. So years and years and years ago, it's like 2012 at the RNC, I remember was walking around and Sam Donaldson was there. Sam Donaldson had of course, been one of these pseudo objective news journalists for one of the major networks. And Sam Donaldson at this point was doing a show for ABC Radio. And I walked over to him and I asked him, you know, Mr. Donaldson, I noticed that your show is extremely political and extremely left wing. Did you hold those same views while you were pretending to be an objective reporter for ABC all those years? And he got very upset and he said, do you think you're better than I am? And I said, well, I mean, at this I do because I'm honest about my own politics. I'm pretty honest about exactly where I come from on every issue. But you guys are Not. Well, the same thing is true of Scott Pelley. So Scott Pelley apparently doing a, a reboot of Lonely Islands. I'm on a boat, went on a boat, showed himself gazing off into the distance with an American flag on the back of his boat. Real man of the people. Scott Pelly the, the self aggrandizing nature of the people in journalism is truly an astonishing, astonishing thing. Well, he did an interview over the weekend of course, with the New York Times in which this humble journalist explained that he is, he's never seen political bias before. Only, only Barry Weiss is politically biased. Ah, there was a thumb on the scale for the president's version of events that I felt was a level of political influence that I had never seen in 37 years at CBS News. Yeah, CBS News, perfectly objective for 37 years, perfectly objective, never any pressure, nothing. Well, it's weird because it turns out that Americans do not trust mass media and it's been sinking consistently for decades. This is a Gallup poll taken from 1972 on and it shows confidence in media at an all time high. Basically after Watergate in the low 70s, dives by the year 2000, all the way down to the mid-50s and then just continues to plummet down to 28% today. A great deal or a fair amount of faith in the news media that is not because the news media has been traditionally objective. Well, Scott Pelley says, by the way, that these people need adult supervision. Apparently he's gonna be the adult supervision cuz he has glasses that he sometimes chews. SCOTT PELLEY CBS NEWS it was doing great. So why are we making these changes? We need adult supervision and at the moment we don't have it. We have people who've been installed in these jobs who through no fault of their own, have no experience in television. It's not their fault, but they don't know what they're doing. They don't know what they're doing. Only he knows what he's doing because he's been reading off a teleprompter for years. He's the king of 60. He's a talking head, guys. That's what he does. He is a head who reads the news off of a teleprompter. That is what he does for a living. And then he's, and then he gets choked up because news life threat. He's a hero, guys. He's an unappreciated hero. Scott Pelley There are people in that room who go to war zones when they are pregnant. Oh God, boy, newsrooms are sort of like the military or the police or the beautiful people at the FDNY down the street. It is a life threatening job in many instances. And very strong bonds, very emotional bonds are found or are developed in that kind of setting. And to have people running CBS News who don't know that, have never felt that, and don't understand it is a tragedy. I never expected to see. It's a tragedy because probably the prior editors at CBS News, they were like soldiers or something, right? They're all American heroes. We are now just doing outtakes from Broadcast News with William Hurdle. For those who don't know the reference, go watch the movie. William Hurt plays a Broadcast News anchor who's vying for sort of the chief anchor job. And one of the things that he does, he cuts an interview with a woman who's been victimized and he cries in the interview. And this gets him the job. And it turns out later there was only one camera in the room, which means that he actually had to flip the camera around and later splice in himself crying. That's what. He's an actor. He's an actor. Hey, give me a break. I just weep for all the other journalists in there and their stalwart heroism. And then he says he didn't expect to get fired. I don't know. I feel like if you walk into an all company meeting and rip into your bosses as tools of the president and talk about how they're totally unqualified, you may be figuring you're gonna get fired. I mean, how else is he gonna get some sort of interview with the New York Times interview podcast? But it really didn't occur to you that you could be fired after so many of your colleagues had been let go, after you'd had this very contentious interaction with your new boss? You know, some reporter I turned out to be, I just didn't connect the dots. I mean, was this meeting contentious? Yes. But 60 Minutes is known for two things. A ticking stopwatch and hard questions. And we ask ourselves those hard questions in the shop because they sharpen us and make us better. Oh, oh, it's so emotional. This interview itself demonstrates why Pelly should have been fired. Anybody who has this level of self involvement should not be the person who is covering the news in pseudo objective fashion. And again, he went out there, he said he had no idea who Barry Weiss was when she was hired. And he said that when he, when he did that ridiculous display in front of all of his colleagues, it was behind closed doors. I was with my Family in a closed room. No, no, no, no. If we have an all company meeting at our company and somebody gets up and rips into the executives and says they're stooges and all this kind of stuff, you can pretty fairly expect that you're not going to have a job the next day. This is really, really, really silly. But, you know, our objective news media doing their best. All right, well, the actual, the actual award for ideological heroism of the day goes to my friend Dana Lash. So Dana Lash was speaking at the TP USA Women's Leadership Conference over the weekend, and she was pointing out that it turns out that there are a lot of people who have been ripping into Erica Kirk for, you know, what, almost a year at this point. We're getting close to a year. Here is Dana Lash going after people like Candace Owens and, yes, Tucker Carlson for spewing conspiratorial nonsense about Erica Kirk and the death of Charlie. Our Lord God defines himself as a, quote, father to the fatherless and a defender of widows. God has ordered his church to care for widows, that widows be included. So they are not isolated to protect widows, to care for widows, to not persecute a widow in the most ungodly of ways because you're jealous that you are not the one controlling an organization that that widow's husband built. Okay, so why is this relevant? Well, it turns out that people who are supposed allies of TP usa, Charlie's organization, they spent the weekend humoring conspiracy theories about Erica Kirk and Charlie Kirk. So the pseudo comedian Jimmy Dore, who's basically just turned into an online conspiracy theorist, he, of course, was on Tucker Carlson's show because as long as you hate Israel and spew anti Semitic conspiracy theories, you are always welcome to Tucker's fake cabin in Maine. And Jimmy Dore then just jumped into a 9 and a half minute monologue about how Charlie was killed by a wide variety of conspiratorial forces. This comedian Jimmy Dore, here he was, and you can hear Tucker Carlson laugh at the end, loving every second of it. Takes the gun apart, leaves the screwdriver there, puts it under a towel. Spider mans his way off the top of a building, runs across campus with the gun apparently under a towel. Nobody sees this. He runs into the woods, puts the gun back together again without the screwdriver. He's a regular MacGyver, this guy. And then he hides the gun in the backyard of a house owned by Palantir. And if you think anything else besides that, you're a crazy Jew hating Conspiracy nut. That guy is. Man, the things Elk does to your brain. Same episode. Here's Jimmy Dore mocking Erica Kirk for grieving wrong to Tucker Carlson. Remember, great friends to Charlie Kirk, great friend to TP usa. Again, I don't think that you have to be friends with somebody to defend their. Their widow. I really don't. I don't think you actually have to be close to that person or, or any. I think that actually you can just defend the widows of people who get shot from conspiracy theories about how they did the shooting. But if you are going to pretend to be close to that organization, then this is how to do it wrong. This is obviously a setup and you're not allowed to ask questions about it. And if you are, you're. You are attacking a grieving widow. And that's again, when did Jackie O ever say, quit looking in. Stop. Quit looking into who killed my husband? Never. That's not what happens, and that's not how you grieve. By the way, I remember when my dad died, my mom immediately bought a gold sequin pants outfit, started carrying sparklers around and selling T shirts. And my friends are like, jimmy, what's with your mom? I'm like, she's grieving. Unbelievable. Well, that was on Tucker Carlson's show. Some people need to do a better job of identifying who at least the people who, who hate them are. They should probably do a better job with that. Now, speaking of people who hate America, Candace Owens was out there posting the magic of Russian Starbucks, intellectual property theft. It's good times. Now she put up a tweet quote, we told Russia they couldn't have Starbucks. And they really said, okay, now we own it and we call it Stars Coffee. Same great taste, no American demands met. They did this for virtually every brand that got sanctioned, by the way. Just made it their own. Oh, you mean they engaged in intellectual property theft. That's the thing that they did. What wonderful people. And then she talks about how Russia is amazing, quote, if by you mean everything in their society is exactly the same, but somehow cheaper, cleaner, and more inspiring than we can import some of that Russian to America. Gas is cheaper, food is cheaper than they have less debt. Our media lies day in and day out and pretends Russia is on the brink of collapse to justify our own citizens struggling to afford basic necessities. Keep playing up to the Western delusion that Russia is failing because we punish them with sanctions for their moral sins while we roll out the red carpet for the genocidal state of Israel. Keep applauding the same dumb foreign policy initiatives which brought us. We can OOVERTAKE Persia in two weeks, Mr. President. Everything we are doing and have done is stupid and we owe it to a bunch of geriatric ball worshipers. She means Jews who think that if they kill enough Palestinian children, they'll prove themselves chosen for Satan. Reality, the Eastern hemisphere is now on the rise and you can't gatekeep that reality forever. Okay? So, I mean, when she goes, she goes. I will say that if you're going to go full fifth columnist, like Russian stooge points for honesty. There should point out that outside of Moscow, indoor plumbing is uncommon in Russia. But Candace loves it over there, so they should probably just give her a dasha. She can live with the Richie Riches. It'll be nice for her. I feel like she'll do better over there. America should be more like, Russia is a hell of a take. Is a hell of a take. But, you know, so many smart people, so many smart people in the online space. Geniuses. Wow. All righty. Time for a thing I like and then a thing that I hate. So, things that I like. So Gwyneth Paltrow has now been reduced to saying that her husband thinks she's a Republican just because she's not a psycho. Now, again, this is funny because of course Gwyneth Paltrow is not a Republican. Gwyneth Paltrow is basically a, a down the line liberal. But just because she is not mimicking the most crazy excesses of the left, this now means she's a Republican. This is the Elon Musk chart in real life here. You know, I notice with my own husband too, who's the best person ever in the world, and he's so progressive. Like, he has such a sweet heart and he wants to make sure everybody's looked after. And I think in this climate, you know, sometimes I'm like, can you. I'm like, can you just listen to this? Like, can you, you know, can, you know, it is very triggering for people. Like they've become. It's become so binary, I think. And, and, and I, I am trying to, in my journey through being an American right now, trying to, I don't know, I guess, sort of weave together lots of different points of view. And also to get out of that place of righteousness and anger and fear. I'm pretty centrist and my husband thinks I'm a Republican, but I think it' swhich I'm not a Republican. I don't feel anything right now, to be totally honest. With you, I feel like I'm completely an independent now. Again, this is what's happened. The left has gone so crazy that Gwyneth Paltrow is politically homeless. Great job, guys. And now I've been told by producer Justin that this new Masters of the Universe movie, I know that the right is somehow putting out the idea that it's a left wing movie. I've not seen the movie, so I'm gonna take producer Justin's word for it because, you know, producer Justin is very conservative. He says that essentially the movie is actually pretty right wing. He says that the movie actively makes fun of human resources culture. It mocks the blue hair brigade and it goes after the empathy and feelings crowd. He says that the. The film is actually a massive, thinly veiled mockery of the modern corporate grievance complex. Apparently in the final battle, Skeletor refuses to negotiate and refuses to stop and keeps coming for he man's home and family because he says he's a villain and he loves it. And so he man is forced to fight him. And also, there's a character called man at Arms played by Idris Elba. And he actually has to teach a young Adam about courage and strength. And he says that there comes a time when the time for talking is over. So I haven't seen the movie. I will have to see it now. On the other hand, we have some things that I hate. So Lewis Hamilton, who is dating a woman with $2 billion and is himself worth a fortune, he was on the Jay Shetty podcast and he says that there is a limit to how much wealth you can have. Okay, dude, let's start with you. Let's start with you. I'm. I'm always amused when people who are extraordinarily wealthy suddenly try to buy their way back into the good graces of people who hate their wealth by claiming that we need a redistribution. It's called. Okay, you've got. There's a thing called charity. You can do it right now. You can do it right this very instant, actually. But here's Lewis Hamilton doing this dumb routine. The. One of the things that I'm like, I struggle with every day is. And it's just how life is, and it's been the way for thousands of years that there is such a disparity between wealthy and. And the poor. And, you know, you still, when you drive around la, there's still so many people living on the streets. There should. You shouldn't be able to have billions, right? I think there should. There should Be a limit to how much you can have because there's enough to go around to everyone. So somehow creating a law that creates more equality. Yeah. And equal access for everyone. You know, I don't know how that you would implement, implement that law. That's all good. But like, geez, man, I've met kids that are starving. Yeah, same. And you think, oh God, like, how are we? We are so, so lucky. So many of us knowing that and not taking advantage of your everyday is so, so important. His girlfriend is Kim Kardashian. He's one of the richest people on earth. She is one of the richest people on earth. There's a thing called charity, guys. You can do it. I do a lot of it. You can do it. It's really, really easy. You sign a check to a charitable organization, you can do it right now. You can even give them some of your stock. You can do whatever you want with your money. I love when everybody, these richy rich socialists come out like, you know what we should really do? I wish that we would redistribution. I'm not going to give any charity. I understand. But I think that everyone should truly, truly. I don't even know how this would be achieved. But what if, what if I could take my money and give it to someone poorer? No, I'm not going to do that. You understand? But I feel like if there are a system to do that, then maybe I would want to do that. I mean, I wouldn't want to do that, but maybe I would. Come on. Come on. Well, again, the socialist culture is on the uptick right now. There's a trailer out for a new movie called how to Rob a Bank. There have been a spate of movies recently that are just overtly anti capitalistic. Overtly. So the idea in these movies is that if you are rich, you must be the thief and therefore people stealing from you is totally fine. So here's the trailer for how to Rob a Bank. They're going to rob this bank because this one's personal. I don't worry about the ambitions of thieves. Didn't your bank just get bailed out and like screw over a lot of people? Just also kind of seems like, Theo, this is what you. I love you guys. Robbing fingers will be start. This is what you get. They're making a point. The system's corrupt. This is what you get when you mad. Are we in the car chase? We just need to get there fast. Get out of the car. Is this humble Huge. Fast. Yeah, there you go. Dope. I love your show. Thanks for watching. This is what you get. You've got Pete Davidson and John. John C. Reilly and Nicholas Holt. Oh, yeah, Christian Slater's in it too. Zoe Kravitz. It's a big cast, Ken. The idea is that robbing people is fine because they took a government bailout. So first of all, you guys didn't disagree with the government getting. Why is it that you are not angry at the government for giving the bailout, you're angry at the bailout recipient? I noticed that. That is not a logic that you ever apply to anyone else. It's never applied to people who are recipients in any other way of government largess. I'm angry at the government. I don't think the government should have done the betting bailouts. I don't. I think the government created a ridiculous incentive structure whereby banks made risky bets on subprime mortgages at the behest of the federal government. And then the federal government bailed them out with our money. And I think it sucked all the way around. But the idea that this somehow is now making robbery morally righteous. The next wave in American politics is clearly economically left unless people get their heads right. And the reality is, I think that given the propagandistic nature of our news media and our entertainment culture, that is very When's the last time you saw a robust defense of free markets in a film? Ever? Has it ever happened? Even when when that happens, it happens by accident. Truly. It's usually the villain who somehow ends up a breakout figure because he's speaking logic already. Folks, the show continues for our members right now. We have a lot to get to still. We will get to the AI economy, some pretty good May jobs growth numbers. Title: The California Election Is Corrupt, Just Not How You Think
Date: June 8, 2026
Host: Ben Shapiro (The Daily Wire)
In this episode, Ben Shapiro dissects post-election drama in Los Angeles' mayoral race, explores broader concerns around election integrity (with California’s voting laws as the case-in-point), and critiques what he calls systemic weaknesses tied to ballot harvesting and mail-in voting. The show then pivots to deriding performative politics and fake sports fandom, covers infighting within the Democratic Party, and provides Shapiro’s perspective on the latest developments in the Middle East, media bias, and contemporary pop culture. Throughout, Shapiro maintains his trademark blend of sarcasm, polemic, and rapid-fire commentary.
[05:35–18:50]
Early Leads, Dramatic Swings: Ben describes how the June 2 LA mayoral election results favored Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt early on, but shifted days later in favor of Nithya Rahman. He attributes the late swing to the pattern of mail-in ballots arriving after in-person voting ends—a dynamic he argues always benefits Democrats.
“All the late-breaking votes, meaning the mail-in ballots, were heavily biased toward Nithya Rahman. This is not a glitch. It is the blueprint.” – Ben Shapiro [12:20]
No Classic “Ballot Stuffing” Conspiracy: Shapiro rejects conspiracies about machines or fake ballots, instead arguing that the true “corruption” is legal—but dangerous—systemic issues: widespread voter registration with scarce verification (even with, e.g., a gym ID), universal mail-in ballots, and legalized ballot harvesting.
“The way people think of stolen elections is wrong... What's actually happening is widespread voter registration and then ballot harvesting.” – Ben Shapiro [13:45]
The Homeless Factor: Shapiro speculates on high rates of voting among homeless shelters due to concerted ballot harvesting by activists.
“Ballot harvesters will go to homeless shelters … they will help them mark the ballot, or stand over them while they mark the ballot, and take those ballots to a Dropbox.” [15:20]
State-by-State Differences: Contrasts California's lack of ballot return limits with other states (like Colorado, which caps per-person returns at 10), arguing that such loopholes enable mass collection of ballots, thereby skewing results.
“Ballot harvesting is the enemy of good voter policy. It is a recipe for corruption.” – Ben Shapiro [18:15]
[19:00–25:30]
Politicians as “Fake Sports Fans”: Shapiro rails against Dem politicians Zor Momdani and AOC for suddenly posing as Knicks fans, contrasting it with Trump’s long-term fandom. He accuses them of “cosplaying” for political gain.
“What annoys me more than almost anything in politics is when people pretend to be fake sports fans. It drives me up a wall.” – Ben Shapiro [21:31]
Class Warfare and Populist Angles: Ridicules politicians for buying expensive game tickets while posturing as blue-collar.
Intersection of Race, Poverty, and Policy: Mocks Momdani’s rhetoric, linking focus on black and poor New Yorkers as politically opportunistic and, in Shapiro’s view, superficially conflating identity and economic class.
“Apparently being poor and being black, same thing.” – Ben Shapiro [24:57]
[25:30–35:15]
Graham Platner Controversies:
“Blaming the Jews seems like a risky defense for a guy with a Nazi tattoo...” – Ben Shapiro [33:17]
Resurgence of Far-Left Faction: He frames all of this as evidence of the party’s leftward and, in his view, antisemitic drift.
[35:15–52:45]
Recent Escalations:
Warfare & Negotiation Theory:
“Any war is about which side has the leverage, which side can stand more pain. It’s not about the absolute amount of pain inflicted.” – Ben Shapiro [43:02]
Shapiro’s Prescription:
Analysis of Trump’s Statements:
“I think the Iranians are trying to play Trump. I think they’re trying to play Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff or the ones who are negotiating this deal.” – Ben Shapiro [49:21]
[52:45–63:20]
Post-Journalism Culture:
Declining Trust in Media:
[63:20–end]
TPUSA Conference Drama:
Candace Owens & Russia Praise:
Class Envy & Wealth:
“I'm always amused when people who are extraordinarily wealthy suddenly try to buy their way back into the good graces of people who hate their wealth...” – Ben Shapiro [68:35]
Pop Culture Trends:
The Left’s Cultural Push:
On Election Integrity:
“When you combine legal ballot harvesting with a total collapse of voter ID you end up with some pretty shady election practices.” – Ben Shapiro [14:27]
On Sports Fandom Fakery:
“He (Momdani) discovered he was a Knicks fan about the time he wanted to run for mayor. This drives me up a wall.” – Ben Shapiro [22:50]
On Party Infighting:
“Blaming the Jews seems like a risky defense for a guy with a Nazi tattoo who’s trying to convince people that it was just an innocent mistake and it doesn’t mean anything.” – Ben Shapiro [33:17]
On War Dynamics:
“The formula is—up the pain on the other side, demonstrate your invulnerability on your own side. That's the entire formula.” – Ben Shapiro [47:19]
On Media Self-Importance:
“The self-aggrandizing nature of the people in journalism is truly an astonishing, astonishing thing.” – Ben Shapiro [55:10]
On Wealth Redistribution:
“I'm always amused when people who are extraordinarily wealthy suddenly try to buy their way back into the good graces of people who hate their wealth...” – Ben Shapiro [68:35]
