Today's Bible verse Joshua, chapter 17, verse 4 says so Joshua gave them a grant of land along with their uncles as the Lord had commanded. As the Israelites divide up in the promised land, even though God had given very specific instructions on how to do this, drama unfolds when Jacob Israel adopted two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Those sons and their descendants had rights to become tribe leaders and landowners. And since Manasseh split in half, they don't feel like they're getting their fair share. And then the daughters of Zelophehad remember them. They come back, they remind Joshua about the land Moses had promised them and Joshua fell follows God's orders. On top of all the drama, seven tribes still haven't received their land. So they are getting impatient. And the Israelites aren't fully obeying God. Most of them are letting the Canaanites, the people living in their land, stay in their land today. Baja God marks His valuables In Hebrew, the letter shin is viewed as God's initial because it's the first letter of his name, Shaddai, which means God Almighty. Jerusalem is surrounded by three valleys that look like a shin. God marked Jerusalem and he chose the Israelites, called them his and marked them as his own. And because of Jesus, we get to be marked by the same name.
