Ms. Emily
Hey, Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily and this is the Bible recap for the wicked. Here we go with another seven day roundup. What did we read about the last seven days? Well, let's zoom out. We read some beautiful psalms and we followed some of the early days of David's time as king. He moved the capital to Jerusalem. And after a failed attempt that disregarded God's instructions, he moved the Ark of the Covenant there as well. We saw that God is in control of the details and he does wonderful things for us. We reviewed too old and learned too new words to remember.
Narrator
Unity is being joined together as parts of a greater whole. The Trinity is one God in three God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. Messiah means Savior. It's from a Hebrew word meaning chosen or anointed one.
Teacher
A prophecy is a message God speaks to people through a person. We call the people who speak the messages prophets.

How can we use what we learned in our own lives? Let's talk about it in an application. We Learned in Psalm 133 that one of the great earthly gifts we have is unity. You have realized by now that the Bible wasn't written during some magical time period when everyone got along. That period ended with the first sin way back in Genesis three Kids in the Bible who sang psalms of ascent with their families who weren't too different from you. They argued with their parents and they fought with their siblings. And they felt hurt by their friends too. Psalm 133:1 says how good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity. I want to give you a challenge. Memorize that verse. And then the next time you find yourself out of unity with a family member or a friend, say that verse to yourself. Tell yourself the truth from God's word. Pray for his wisdom on how to work toward unity in this situation and in the future. It's good and pleasant when God's people live together in unity. My friends, here's where the joy is. Sam.
