B
Welcome back to another episode of the Blondest podcast. And we are so excited today because it's the new year and we have some newness at sba.
A
Yeah, you guys are gonna learn with me live on the podcast right now, because Savannah does her research on these products, and, you know, she's the visionary. She's the decision maker for what we.
B
Carry at St. My 5 to 9 is dedicated to reading literature about skincare, clinical studies, journalism investigations.
A
And so I trust her. I mean, she tells me, I want to bring this on. I find who the contact is and does it. Yep, we get it brought in, so. But we have some new things coming to SBA that are here. They're coming. They're here. Yeah.
B
But for those of you that maybe haven't been on the up and up, maybe took a detox for social media during Lent, as you should. When's Lent? February.
A
You're asking the wrong.
B
It's February.
A
February through May. February through April.
B
I think it's just 30 days.
A
Oh, again, wrong person to ask. So we have four new products, actually. Yeah, four.
B
And one device.
A
But one device and one more product. We got a lot of new things coming out yesterday.
B
Yeah. That happened today. Which today is three weeks before when this came out.
A
So very well.
B
It's probably there.
A
Yeah, probably. But you'll hear us talk about it. Yeah, at some point.
B
See? So number one, coming in hot with sieve. This is reintroducing bio care. Biome care back into the spa. So this is a bacillus spore. And this is going to help with your leaky skin, just like some people have a leaky gut. This is going to help with balances in the skin and just really help it function optimally. Look beautiful. Help with reactive skin. I mean, there's so many things that a dysfunctioning biome can produce, such as dermatitis, acne, rosacea, eczema. And you guys know this saved my son. And it has been a game changer for, like, perioral dermatitis, especially, and just any kind of skin irritation. So, Tyler.
A
So I'm going to take you guys through what. And I think this is interesting. You know, this is what we receive from the companies to educate ourselves. Savannah's already read all this, but think.
B
Of it as an audiobook.
A
Yeah, I'm gonna take y'all through.
B
Give me a good narrating voice.
A
Okay. So, Siv, the biology of resilience. Leaky skin. Leaky skin triggers the activation of inflammatory cytokines. Leaky skin drives systematic inflammation due To a compromised skin barrier, further driving skin aging and dysfunction. A compromised skin barrier leads to water loss and creates a path of pathogens. Water loss is dehydration and.
B
T e.
A
W. I was gonna say tool, but water loss is in that.
B
Yeah.
A
Trans epidermal water loss.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. I didn't know that was what you were cuing me for. I thought because tool is dehydration. I think I got my cue right. Skin aging and leaky skin start with a dysfunctional skin microbiome. So, symptoms. What are the symptoms of leaky skin? This is actually my first time hearing the phrase leaky skin. So skin aging, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, inflamed skin, acne, eczema, dermatitis, irritation, rosacea, you name it. Am I doing well?
B
Yeah. What are spores? This is a. This is important. Quorum sensing helps to rebalance the skin microbiome. So they're communicating. That's what that means. It's selecting, it's being selective.
A
So that's not smart.
B
Yeah, you just need. This is not very much what I like.
A
Each of us has a unique skin microbiome, Home to millions of naturally occurring bacteria, fungi, and viruses that react to our hormones, diet, and environment. The skin microbiome is involved in ensuring optimal barrier function and skin homeostasis. The skin microbes also secrete several molecules that help keep the skin healthy. A healthy skin microbiome protects the body from penetration of potential pathogenic microorganisms. Dysbiosis in the imbalance of the microbiome, leaky skin, a term for skin dysbiosis, can be the root cause of various skin issues.
B
There you go. So, hey, that's really it. So it's. Instead of engrafting in the pour, this is communicating and then dipping out. So it's just communicating what needs to be done. It's like a little messenger bird. And then it leaves.
A
And the results from this are absolutely insane. I think, you know, I'm not in the treatment room. I'm not necessarily the one who is selling it all day, every day. So I don't get into this nitty gritty a lot. But what I do care about seeing is the before and afters. And so again, even with Savannah's son, he has been through the wringer with steroids with literally anything under the sun. And. Poor kid. And now, how long Was were those two pictures apart that are on your Instagram?
B
48 hours.
A
48 hours. Back to new. Okay, so this next one, we talked about it briefly on the podcast. With John, this is the factor 5 eye lash cream. And it was funny enough on that episode, he talked about how this product was just intended to be an eye cream. It was for, you know, they were taking their growth factor technology and putting it into different products, formulating it specifically for certain areas. And then when they.
B
And I love that this has retinol in it too. It's not retinoic acid, so it's not as strong as IMAX for anti aging. But with the addition of growth factors and lash growth, I think it just is a really good option. And it's. How much is it? Like not expensive. Right. I don't. You're the money man. I don't look at prices.
A
I typically, I think it's like a hunt. Like around $100.
B
Yeah. So but it's not like 170 bucks.
A
Yeah. No.
B
Okay.
A
And for a growth factor serum, that's really on the.
B
That's what I meant. Yeah. For growth factor, it's not 200 plus.
A
So the. But as I was saying, it was just funny enough in the initial studies of this product, they saw a exponential increase and lash length and strength. And it was like a funny coincidence. They were like, oh my gosh, did you know that this grows your lashes? And John was like, no, but that's cool.
B
Yeah.
A
And so it's awesome to see that because I mean, for a while we were looking for an alternative to have.
B
Yeah. Because a lot of people are against prostaglandins and I personally don't.
A
You don't react from them.
B
90% of people don't.
A
Okay.
B
It's very rare that it can cause orbital fat loss. And that's if you're like over applying it and putting like, you know what I mean? Like it's people that are over not using it probably should you put it on your lash line, let it dry, go to bed. It's not gonna. And make sure you're putting on your eye creams and stuff first and not moving it around. But even if you did move it around, it's very, very rare. It's a lot of people doing fear mongering and scaring people or vital ash is the best. I mean the results have been absolutely insane. But I do know there are people, you know, that want an alternative. And so I thought this was a really great option. And then I also love that it's a two for one. You guys know I love multi use products. I think it, you know, especially in this economy, it's great to find something that combines Two needs and knocks it out with one product.
A
You love that.
B
Yeah.
A
Total I three in one. Total.
B
You okay?
A
Yeah, I just had a little burpee. Sorry.
B
Total lash.
A
Yeah, yeah, total lash.
B
Like there's a lot.
A
So yeah. This in four weeks, people saw like over a 35 reduction in wrinkles and they saw over a like, I think it was like 50 increase in lash growth in four weeks, which is like insane.
B
Yeah, that's really great.
A
It has obviously the growth factors, human cell, human stem cell factors. It has biotin and I talked to this about Savannah because I know that biotin can cause acne.
B
But it's topically it's fine.
A
Topically it's fine. It's when it gets into your gut, that's when you start seeing issues. Has caffeine, which is a great too. Doesn't it constrict blood vessels to like help with dark under eyes and stuff like that. And what do you want to say?
B
I said all I need to say. Yeah, I mean it's good for fine lines and wrinkles. It has retinol in it and human stem cells.
A
On to the next, on to the next topic. This is arctogenin brightening treatment. This is Epicutus new product. It's a brightening treatment.
B
This is not a replacement for vitamin C, but this is a great addition in your regiment to vitamin C. If you already have it, I would definitely say this is going to help a ton with brightening pie pigmentation. It has hyvia in it as well. So that's also in the hyvia cream. Hyvia is also found in lipid body treatment. I love it. So this is a really cool way that brightens the overall skin tone. We've seen really good results with it with melasma too. And it just treats a different pigmentation pathway than like vivid and even tone do. So it is a great addition and you'd use it first before even tone and vivid and you would use it, I would say after lipid serum. Go over key ingredients though.
A
Okay, so key ingredients. The first one is the abso Arctium, lapa or burdock seed oil. Seed oil. I was getting there. I was getting there. Lapa or burdock. See, is lapa, do you think like the scientific name of burdock?
B
Yeah.
A
This is patented extract oil. What did you say? Patented.
B
Patented.
A
It's a patent.
B
Patented.
A
Yeah, that's what I said. It's an oil that is enriched for arctogenin. Arctogenin. You got me messed up. No, you Got me messed up questioning my witches. And anti pigmentation active. So this is their molecule.
B
It's the first and only skincare product on the market with arctogenin.
A
Yeah, you slayed, you ate that.
B
Octogenin. You know, it takes me a minute to get.
A
Words are hard and then.
B
But I know my brain knows the things.
A
And so this is really just also an alternative to. To like ascorbic acid. Yeah. I mean they even say that it. The way it functions is similar to like kojic acid and hydroquinone, but it doesn't have the negative side effects that those carry.
B
Yeah, it's not over stripping. It's. This is great for sensitive skin. So if you have pigment and an impaired barrier, you'll love this.
A
And then as Savannah said earlier, it has hyvia and that's also a patented.
B
I don't like the way you say that.
A
Patented.
B
Patented. Patented.
A
Patented.
B
Patented. Patented.
A
I don't like that word.
B
Patented.
A
I don't like that word.
B
It's a patented product.
A
I've always been made fun of since I was younger because there are some words that I over pronunciate. Like my T's, especially patented. Like, what's another?
B
Like triceratops.
A
No, I don't know. I'll have to think about it. But it's like words that. Words with the T, you know, like they. They.
B
Patented.
A
No, but you know, like say it. No, but like, see, you say patented. You're not saying that first T. And that's where my brain says patent. Patented.
B
It was just patented.
A
But do you know what I'm saying? Like you're not pronouncing the first T. And that's something I've always done. I used to get made fun of for it.
B
Well, I'm gonna make fun of you now. Fucking loser.
A
Cause you see what I'm saying? Like I say patented. No, but you say patented.
B
Patented. Yeah, I'm saying both T's that are in there.
A
No, you're saying pat. Pat.
B
There's no T in tid. Patented.
A
No, but you're not saying pat.
B
Patented. Patented.
A
Y'all know what I mean? No, but you're saying patented.
B
Patented.
A
Yeah, but the first T is not pronounced patented. Anyway, this is going to boost the barrier function, hydrate the skin. And as Savannah said when we were talking about IVA cream last episode, it protects you from blue light slime. And then this also has Canadian white pine bark extract.
B
Razzle dazzle.
A
This is clinically proven to illuminate and even out skin tone in only 14 days. Clinically proven to improve skin translucency and clarity and it inhibits melanin synthesis. So and then, you know, further down the line.
B
Sodium disodium bile vital file. And then it's. Don't tell me. It's dysgly colo. Dysglycolo.
A
Cocoloco.
B
Dysgly coco. Loco.
A
There's no dense.
B
I know. It's diglycological. Chlo. Diglycolycysteine. Diglycolycysteine. Disodium S phytol. Disodium S phytol. Diglycolococysteine.
A
You just have to go. What's her name?
B
Zinali. I just channel my inner Zinali, which is an educator for skin butter. She's so good.
A
She's so funny. I think she's from Australia or somewhere in that. And so like you just want to listen to her talk and she says like these long ingredient names and what you just witnessed is what Savannah will do for like three hours at home to remember, like, what's the one.
B
I'll be doing this on the way home. Disodium S Vital. Vital.
A
I think so.
B
I don't trust you.
A
I don't think it's phytol.
B
Disodium S, Phytal vital. Disodium S vital. Diglocology, Glycolo. Disodium S vital Dichol cysteine.
A
You'll get it. Yeah, I know you'll get it.
B
Yeah.
A
And this protects the skin against UV and pollution induced inflammation.
B
You know what I hate though? Hot take is those estheticians that think they like are better than everyone else because they're like, have good grammar. Like, I'm sorry, that wasn't a part of our schooling. And a lot of these scientific names are hard, but once I get them correctly, you better watch your back, period.
A
This pronouncing, this is not in anyone's curriculum unless you're a chemist.
B
First and foremost, I have dyslexia.
A
That's true.
B
Second of all, grammar is really hard for me.
A
That's also true.
B
I mispronounce things every day. But I don't care about other words. The words I care about saying right, skincare words. And it takes me some practice. And usually you guys don't get to see this. You get to see it when it's perfect. So you're welcome for letting you in.
A
Yeah, that's what I told you guys.
B
We're gonna see me with tetramethyl hexadecimal sexy cysteine. That was like 24 hours of like I sounded like a fucking bird just repeating it.
A
So. And then the last bit are some healthy antioxidants. We have ferulic acid and vitamin E. This helps neutralize free radical damage from sunlight. So you are being protected, you are being brightened. We are helping with pigment and we are helping prevent future pigment with using this product.
B
Amazing.
A
So yeah, that's pretty much it on the brightening treatment.
B
Anything else, my king?
A
Last but not least, we have something that is the same but also not the same. We have the lipid recovery masks for the eye.
B
It's a little different because your eyes are more sensitive and delicate. So you need a little bit of changes. We love these.
A
This is the first product from them to combine two of their technologies. IPC molecules.
B
Yeah.
A
So I don't think the regular lipid mask has.
B
It doesn't have hybea in it.
A
Well, it's the qfc.
B
Yeah.
A
So the. This has tsc, which is tetramethyl hexadecinyl succinyl cysteine slay. And that is Epicutus is like OG patent molecule. But this also has qfc, which I don't think we're gonna do a round two of that.
B
I want to. Okay. Acetyl glucamoyl Glucomin oil. Yeah, Acetyl.
A
You sound like doodlebob. Do you remember that episode Poi min oil F you.
B
Okay, I got this one. Acetyl glutamin oil. Farnestiolcysteine.
A
Okay, slime, I know you want to do it one more time, so go for it.
B
Okay. Acetyl glutamine oil. Barnes. Still cysteine. I want a call from the owner and founder of Max. I want Max Doc to call me and tell me I was right.
A
So tsc.
B
This is the OG anti inflammatory molecule.
A
It is clinically proven to combat fine lines, wrinkles, reduce blemishes and improve skin texture. Protects against collagen breakdown by inhibiting collagen collagen production in human dermal fibroblasts promote skin repair. And my favorite thing about it, it's a strong anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties. So qfc, what does this do it report? It's reported to block U UVB and chemical induced inflammation. What is uvb? These are ultraviolet burning rays. So these are the molecules that. These are the UV rays from the sun that don't go deep into the skin. They go more surface level and they're the ones that cause the burning. Those are the ones that can or cannot penetrate glass.
B
They can't.
A
Cannot be. Yeah.
B
Cannot.
A
Okay. And this also promotes moisturization. And shown to boost HO1 which helps to clear free. This is above my head.
B
Free heme. A key to the appearance of under eye circles. Yeah.
A
So this is Savannah's new favorite under eye masks.
B
Yeah. I also like total eye.
A
Total eye is really good. Total eye is crazy.
B
Total eye does really good. The mask. But this is like way more hydrating.
A
I think that this is also more of a clinical. Yeah, like long term total eyes.
B
Like kind of a right away.
A
Yeah.
B
Life of the day. But there's no like patented technology with it. It's just a bunch of good ingredients in an eye mask.
A
It's like comparing skin betters in sinefect eye gel versus interviews that.
B
Yeah, I would agree. And we have a new device coming. And we have another new product coming. A lot of newness coming in this new year. I want to finish this episode out with our ins and outs for 2024.
A
Okay.
B
Or I guess you say what?
A
Gucci?
B
Yeah, Gucci's back. Bitches in headbands are in. Okay. I actually made a list so I'll give you time to make yours while I do mine.
A
What? That's not fair.
B
I know. I didn't think I'd do this, but it just came to me. Okay.
A
Were you sitting there doing that while I was.
B
No, this was this. No, I did this at 6:30 last night.
A
Okay. I felt. I feel ambushed.
B
No, you're fine. And matching your perfume to your outfit. Okay? Like not just wearing the same scent every day. Like feeling the vibe of the fit and matching it with a scent. You know what I mean? Going to the beach three times a year, that's in not judging people you don't know. That's also in Cooking at home five times a week. That's my goal. Romanticizing everything. Romanticizing your life. Getting cute little straws for the holidays, Seasonal cups. Like you know, just curating and customizing your life to be so fucking fun. You know what I mean? Daily affirmation cards, nightly bubble baths, forgiving others, dirty martinis. Recycling. Buying quality clothes. Being a passenger princess.
A
Okay, was that not in for most of this year for you?
B
It's been in since I was born.
A
Okay, okay.
B
Out is negative self talk. Uber. Eating every meal, pumping your own gas. Buying things to feel good. Like only buying things that you need and not just buying stuff to feel good about yourself.
A
Can we back it up? You should move to New Jersey.
B
No.
A
Did you know that?
B
And in Portland in Oregon. They don't pump their own gas. I know, I know. Also out is copying other people over consumption fast fashion. And don't come for me with it's affordable. By the time you're gonna keep buying a new the same shirt 75 times, it's gonna rip after one or two uses. So. And think about all the slight. The slave labor and children, child labor. So. Okay. Also out is butt fries.
A
Do I have to ask what that is?
B
Yeah, it's the butt of the potato.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Like, I think collectively as a nation, that we should all hold Chick Fil A. Yeah. Specifically Chick Fil A to higher standards and say, if you're gonna charge $20 for a fucking meal, dispose of the butt fries.
A
Yeah.
B
Or maybe for the sick out there, you could just make a butt fry special.
A
Yeah, no, they should do that. Because some people love.
B
I think Zoe does.
A
Yeah, some people love them.
B
And that's fine.
A
My dogs love them.
B
You can be wrong.
A
But then my dogs eat half my fries.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, that's not what I want.
B
And it's okay to be wrong here, but. But fries okay. Also out. Sugary cocktails. They give you hangovers. They're not good for you.
A
I fear an espresso martini.
B
I mean, I'm not like, lemon. I'm going with, like, bitter for that one. I'm going to go with bitter.
A
Espresso martini is bitter.
B
Espresso.
A
I guess I put cream in it. That's why it's not bitter.
B
Also out is saying that you're a fan of an artist, but then when blind karaoke comes on, you don't know any of the lyrics. And then I would also say disagreeing with Savannah Bota is out. And I also think we don't want to go there. No, I do.
A
No, we don't.
B
I do. No, I'm not scared of you, bitch. Disagreeing with me is out. And I also think unnecessary amounts of pillows on your couch is out. Like, nobody needs that many fucking pillows. And like, to be honest, if I go to your house and you have that many pillows on your couch, I question who's been there and what's been on them.
A
Hmm.
B
Like, less pillows.
A
Like, how many pillows are we talking?
B
Like, if I can't find a bare seat on your couch because there's so many fucking pillows, there's too many pillows.
A
Yeah. Interesting.
B
Hot. Take your turn.
A
Interesting. You know what's in because of how your guest bedroom looks.
B
Okay. I live in a shoebox right now.
A
It's always been, like, that since day one, there was 12 pillows on that guest bedroom.
B
That's because I overbought pillows. I was getting high, and I would buy throw a pillow because I thought it was cute. And then it come in. I'm like, oh, my God, this is so cute. Then another one would come in. I'm like, oh, my God. But this is so cute. And I didn't want to throw it away or donate it.
A
No. I'm telling y'all, when you walk into her guest bedroom, the bed, there's literally. It's a queen size bed, and there are pillows that stack standing up.
B
By the time this episode comes out, there's gonna be nothing in that room. I'm gonna take everything out.
A
No more pillows.
B
You said no picture everyone. Nobody gets Apollo in my house.
A
I'm not saying that. I was just saying it was a funny point for you to make because your guest bed has, like, 12.
B
Okay. I'm talking about, like, living quarters where people see. But thanks, cunt. Your turn.
A
You were coming for me.
B
I said I was nice. I said you didn't know lyrics. Okay. That's not that mean. 2. I just said agreeing with me. That's not mean. That's just what should happen is crazy.
A
I don't have ins and outs.
B
Okay.
A
I feel like I. My in should I. I know what my ends should be.
B
What are they working out?
A
Yeah. Like, I should definitely. Mullets train.
B
Ear piercing.
A
I should. Tiny tots.
B
Tiny tots.
A
I should train my chest. That's what I need to do.
B
Okay.
A
Did you know that apparently you can't get emsculpt done on your chest because it can, like, stop you. I was really hopeful. I was looking into it.
B
Yeah. No. Anything else?
A
I mean, all the things you listed are things that I do, but I don't think are a problem. Like, it's just supposed to be fun.
B
It's just supposed to be fun. Like, you know, it's not that deep. It's just fun.
A
But I think I generally live my life how I want to live it, so I don't know.
B
Okay.
A
And rot in bed more. I think rotting is in. I think taking time to yourself is in. Out. I think drinking is out. Just in general. I don't think it works well for me. Savannah knows I can't.
B
It's not great.
A
Slightly. I just.
B
I have a hard time keeping his liquor down.
A
Not well. Yes. Controlling myself. It's like, I either. I'm really good at having two drinks.
B
Or 75.
A
Yeah. Or 75. So what else Is out for me. You give me some outs in reading. I think everyone should read. I think it enriches your life. I think it's calming and it can be anything you want. You know what I mean? If you prefer non fiction. If you improve, if you prefer.
B
I think we should bring you down to like four Dr. Peppers a week.
A
Oh.
B
And more water. I think N should be.
A
N should be water. Dr. Pepper should not be on out.
B
It's not out. Water should be N. It's in moderation. I also think N should be spending more time with me as friends and less as co workers. And I think out should be your fear of going on dates. I think in should be exploring options and not being afraid of connections with others.
A
Yeah.
B
And playing the field a little bit.
A
Yeah, no, I think that's. I think I, you know, started that journey a little bit in the summer and then we both just got really busy and then.
B
Yeah. Or, you know, you just. People, you don't like the way they text you and they just stop answering.
A
Well, I just don't ever answer in the first place.
B
Yeah. So maybe we start replying.
A
Yeah.
B
People that message us and are interested in us.
A
I just like.
B
Yeah.
A
In moving to Dallas, I think that's what I would need to do to meet people. Actually out moving to Dallas, but also in. You know what I'm saying?
B
Have so much fun.
A
No, like out. I would hate to live in Dallas, but in. I feel like it's the only way I could meet people. No, the way I would want to. You know what I mean?
B
You just need to go out more.
A
Yeah.
B
You don't have to live there to go out there.
A
But like, here's the thing. It's like when you live there, you can be forced to drive. Like you're going to drive 45 minutes to work every day. You know what I mean? Like that. Not an optional. But on a Saturday night, I'm not driving 30 minutes out there to go like, have fun or like do whatever.
B
I think you just meet someone on a nap like other people do. Because you're the kind of people that you're gonna meet on a Saturday night are not the kind of people that you're gonna want to make a home in life with.
A
The kind of people in Dallas in general are not the people I wanna.
B
So how about we like hop in a skip away?
A
Yeah.
B
Fort Worth. Okay. I think a Fort Worth crowd could do it.
A
You're out of your mind for that one. You know, that is a lot of rancheros. Yeah. That should be on my ends. Ins is replying to people.
B
Yeah.
A
Ends is actively listening.
B
Yeah. Ends is be more supportive of my dreams.
A
Loving unconditionally.
B
Okay. Also, I think letting me explore my creativity instead of trying to just be all like, it's not possible. You can't do that.
A
I don't say that. I don't say that. I don't say that. I don't say that's not possible.
B
Trying to put me in a cage.
A
I don't say that's not possible.
B
Trying to box me in. I just want to fly.
A
And this is why I said active listening. She's hearing what she wants to hear.
B
Okay. Ask anyone. I felt very shut down the other day.
A
I'm not saying you didn't feel that way.
B
Anyways. Also, N. I think would be designated lunch times at work doesn't really bother you because you can have a full meal, but no one else. None of us. He's the only person in the office that can actually like, enjoy a fucking meal at lunch.
A
I don't.
B
And mostly Maria too, but lately not because she's doing Lauren's job. So Lauren can train.
A
Yeah. Lauren or Maria was always able to.
B
Yeah.
A
This entire time. It's like only these past three weeks.
B
Yeah. So now all the rest of us.
A
Are just like, now everyone cannot enjoy their meal besides me.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, put a laser in my hand.
B
I would also say you're out. Should be. I don't know. You're pretty perfect. That's all I got.
A
That was so sweet. That was the nicest thing she said all day.
B
Yeah.
A
Let us know in the comments what Yalls ins and outs are.
B
I want to know.
A
Yeah, I am very interested because I probably, as you can tell, I need some. So I need some guidance.
B
He clearly thinks he's perfect too. So, like, you know, I. I go.
A
To work, I do my job, I go home and I enjoy myself. I, I, you know, what a life. I mean, like, that's.
B
What a life.
A
That's kind of so nice. It is nice. I love you guys. I hope you love me.
B
Tell him to be nice to me and support my crazy dreams. Thank you.
A
Tell her to be nice to me.
B
I am nice to you.
A
And to. When I'm. When I'm saying something, I think she just doesn't know where it's coming from.
B
Okay, hold up, bitch. Because I am nice to you first and foremost.
A
You just said I'm not nice to you, so why are you getting offended when I just said I'm not?
B
Because I'm telling the truth. One of us is lying. Okay, first and foremost, here's the thing. It's not that you're not right when you say things to me. It's that, you know, when you. I told you this, it's triggering for me because it's. My mom used to do this all the time, and maybe I'm a little sensitive, especially when I'm passionate about things, and I'm used to just doing everything by myself and, like, telling everyone about it after it's already done. And I've, like, worked through this, so sometimes I want to, like. Even if it's just something I want to talk through, you don't give me the space to just get my idea out there and then problem solve. You're like, immediately, like, this won't work. You know what I mean? And so it's like. Reminds me of when, you know, I'd get in a fight at school with a girl, right? And, like, maybe I was in the wrong. Okay. With this girl. And I come home. But, like, they're wrong. There's hurt on both sides. Okay. I come home, I tell my mom about it. Instead of being, like, comforting, she's like, well, that's your fault. You shouldn't have done xyz. You know that? You know, and just that for me, I don't work like that. I need, like, a compliment sandwich. Like, Savannah, wow, your brain, so creative. Love the imagination. But let's think about this in a more realistic way and how we could accomplish this on a smaller scale. You know what I mean? It's just like gentle parenting. Not that you're wrong. It's just the delivery.
A
Okay.
B
Do you not agree?
A
I. Yes.
B
No, don't do that.
A
I agree.
B
Don't do that.
A
I agree wholeheartedly.
B
Don't do that.
A
I agree.
B
No, you don't.
A
Yeah, you do.
B
No, you don't.
A
I agree. Do I think I get a compliment sandwich ever? Not really.
B
So, yeah, you're a man, you know.
A
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
B
I'll give you a compliment much more.
A
It's just I'm. We're both direct with each other.
B
Yeah. That's the issue, is we're both really direct, and usually she doesn't.
A
She's never had someone in her business that challenges her.
B
Yes. I don't like it.
A
She's never had that before. And, you know, I. And it's not like, again, I think.
B
That'S how it is because, like, you used to be. I mean, we've all You've always been so direct with me, like, as my friend, and I've always loved that. But I think when it comes to business, I'm so, like, sensitive about it for some reason, and, like, protective. And I think I just take it, like, to heart.
A
No, like, she takes it more personally than, like, when I would be.
B
Tell me, like, I should lose weight.
A
Okay. I've never said that to her.
B
Yes, you did.
A
No, I guess you did.
B
And you were right. And I did. And, like, honestly, it was what I needed to hear it.
A
I don't remember doing that.
B
I do. I said, do I look fat? And you're like, do you want me to lie? And I was like, no.
A
And you're like, that's what I always say to her. I'm like.
B
He's like, you don't look great. And he was like, you could totally lose, like, 40 pounds.
A
That's crazy. I'm going to get so canceled from this.
B
No, you're not. But I don't want you all to think that. It's just been tense. It's been tense. And, like, we're in a. Honestly, I think the downfall for us is my office is so fucking small and, like, I need a minute to, like, be alone. And Tyler needs. I need, like, an hour to be alone. Okay. And it's hard when you have someone that you're comfortable with because he's my best friend, too. So, like, I feel like I can, like, be my truest self with him while with, like, my other team members. Like, I'm, like, maybe a little more chipper. That's crazy. Yeah. I do suck their dick.
A
Yeah.
B
And I don't suck yours. And I. Maybe I should suck it more, but.
A
Okay.
B
I just think I. It's just weird because, again, you. And. That's a really good point. I don't know why I'm so sensitive and so protective over SBA when, like, you'd be like, spanner being like, a. And I'd be like, yeah, you're right. But then if you tell me that.
A
I don't, like, I don't think your idea is the best flow. She's like, that's the rudest thing you've ever said to me, ever. I'm like, girl, I was just giving you my opinion. That's my opinion.
B
Yeah. I don't know. I definitely think I'm a little more sensitive with SBA stuff than I am about, like, you as me as a person. Like, you can tell me how you feel about me as a person. I don't really give a fuck. I do care. I just. Like, it doesn't hurt my feelings.
A
It's better received.
B
Yes.
A
You can take it and you can process it. And. Yeah, but like, this, it's like.
B
But if you tell me my floor plan idea is bad or you don't like the wallpaper I chose, like, I'm ready to go to fucking war with him.
A
And here's what. Like, here's why I was getting so frustrated, is because I'm not. Like, at the end of the day, like, it affects me because it's my job, but these things we're talking about don't affect me. I'm not working in these spaces. We're not. So it's not like I have some personal vendetta to have the argument. No, but you know what I'm saying, Like, I don't have. Like, I'm not making the argument because it's better for me personally. Like, I have a very unbiased opinion of it because these two spaces that we're talking about, I don't work in. I'm not doing it. So that's why, to me, it's like, I'm not.
B
I think you don't want me to do what I want to do because it's gonna prolong our project, and you don't think it's as pressing as in my head it is.
A
Change. No, I. I liked the. No, the change is something we had discussed at Links and months ago.
B
Yeah.
A
And so that's why I was talking to Jana about that, and she was like, yeah. Casey pulled up her notes on, well.
B
Sometimes your first plan is the best plan, you know? So I say your first thing you're drawn to is what you should go with.
A
You guys are really getting an inside.
B
Look on our dynamic. Oh, my God. But you make yourself seem like a sweet angel, and, like, I'm a fucking cunt. And I'm not. I'm such a nice person.
A
Yeah, you are.
B
You're just a little harsh sometimes. Me? And I'm a little sensitive sometimes.
A
No, we're both a little harsh sometimes.
B
Yeah.
A
Let's be completely honest here. I think I'm. Generally, we have different views. We perceive things differently, and that's okay. And I think that's the thing is, like, I think I perceive you as harsh when you don't intend to be. And I think you perceive me as harsh when I have no intention of being. And I think you. You don't like when I'm stressed.
B
Yeah.
A
And that's where, like, I don't even have to say anything. And you're, like, kind of upset because you know what I'm thinking in my head.
B
Yeah. No, I think that's the worst thing is when I say something and I'm hoping for positive feedback, and I can see his brain working, and I know what's about to come out of his mouth is not what I want to hear, and I know it's about to happen. It's like watching a car crash happen before it happens. It's the worst feeling.
A
Yeah. That's what happens a lot with us.
B
But we love each other.
A
I do. I love her so much. We talk it out. It's.
B
You know, it's like siblings working together, you know? I mean, it really is. It's. It's. It's hard, but the love's always there, and it's always for the greater good. I think both of us, maybe in the new year, need to be a little bit more softer with the way we speak to each other at work.
A
I think having separate offices will be a great first solution to it.
B
I think we should just say everything with a huge smile, even if we're like, don't mean it.
A
That's what I've tried to do the past.
B
That's like. You're like, yeah, okay.
A
I'm like, whatever you want. Whatever you say.
B
Shut up. All right. Love you guys. We are going to go get to bed because we have to work tomorrow. Our boss is such a mean, mean, mean motherfucker.
A
I know.
B
Such a. We should burn her house down.
A
Love you guys. Have a wonderful rest of your week. And happy Monday. Happy. Oh, it's 2025 now. I think it's been.
B
Let's jive in 2025.
A
Love you guys. Bye.
