Excuse me. Verse 9. After this manner. Therefore, pray ye, our Father which are in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Verse 10. That kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Verse 11. Give us this day our daily bread. Verse 12. And forgive us our depths as we Forgive our departures and verse 13 and lead us not in temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. So in in the Lord's Prayer, as part of the famous Sermon on the Mount, Yeshua Hamashiach disciples asked him to teach them to to pray as John the Baptist has taught his followers. You know, rather than telling them to to repeat these exact words, he presented it as a model prayer focusing on God Yahweh, Yahwah's glory, daily needs directed to his kingdom and in his heaven. So Matthew 7 verse 9 Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Hallowed means to greatly revere and honor. Jehovah's name is sacred, supremely valuable and set apart from secular deities and other worldly limitations. Verse 10 Thy kingdom come, Thou will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Lord, just give us a new opportunity to learn how to to love each other and to have heaven right here on earth right now. Lord. So Yeshua Hamashiach the so called Jesus says we can have heaven on earth. Verse 11 Give us this day our daily bread. In the book of Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 3 Man shall not live by bread alone, but every word that proceed out the mouth of God jehovah Elohim verse 12 and forgive us our depth as we forgive our debtors. Depths equals sins. The word depths is used metaphorically for our sins, moral failings and things we owe to Elohim. Righteousness that we can't repay. Debtors, those who wrong us. These are people who have failed us, disappointed us, or owe some emotionally, financially for conditional forgiveness. That this as we forgive, that as we forgive part is crucial. It's a request for Yahwah to deal with us as we deal with others, emphasizing that receiving God Jehovah's grace requires us to extend grace, a call to action. This phrase isn't just about prayer. It's a command to actively, actively release others from grudges and resentment. Just as we ask to be released from our own shortcomings. God Jehovah's perspective is outside this network. He isn't adept, but the ultimate Creator who can forgive. And he wants us to model that forgiveness in simpler terms. Elohim, please forgive me for the ways I messed up and failed you. Just like I'm choosing to let go of the hurts and offenses caused by others. That's what I'm trying to do. Verse 13 Let us not lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. So lead us not into temptation and request for Elohim to keep his children from being led into situations where they might fall into sin or severe trials that test fate.
