Our God that is monumental. Our God that can be non exegetical. He can do what he wants. Our God who was on Mount Sinai, who said he is that he is. Lord, we give you limitless thanks. All praises, all praises. All right, family. Our topic today is the significance of genealogy. The big breakdown, part two. Let's go to Revelations. In the book of Revelations, chapter 22, verse 16, verse 16. I, Jesus, have sent my angels to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root of the offspring of David. So Jesus the Christ says, I am the root and offspring, the offspring of David. Continue. And the bright and morning star. Okay, let's continue. In Revelations, chapter 5, verse 5, verse 5. And one of the elders said unto me, we we not behold the line of the tribe of Judah. The line of who? The tribe of Judah. So if Christ has a tribe, that means that his tribe goes all, all the way back up to his lineage of his forefathers. And he's from the tribe of Judah. Continue. The root of David had prevailed to open the book and loose the seven seals. So the tribe of Judah is all there in scripture and it's going to explain. So let's go to Genesis, chapter 49, verse 10, verse 10. The scepter shall not depart from Judah. So the word scepter is going into king kingship to be a king. A scepter has a king. So a king shall not depart from Judah. Continue. Nor a lawgiver from between his feet. Nor a lawgiver. A lawgiver is a high priest. So a king and a high priest, those are two titles. And it says it shall not come from between Judas feet. What's between Judah's feet? Let's think about that for a minute. His testicles, his balls, meaning his semen. That's what. What's going on here? Let's read it again. Genesis, chapter 49, verse 10. The scepter shall not depart from Judah come from Judah. Nor a lawgiver from between his feet. From between his feet his semen. Continue until Shiloh come. Until Shiloh come. Read. And unto him shall the gathering of his people be. So just in case you're confused with what the word Shiloh means, we got the definition right here. Shiloh, generally understood as denoting the Messiah. The Messiah is talking about Christ to come. Continue. The peaceful one. What is it called? The peaceful one. That's what the word Shiloh means. The peaceful one or the peaceable one. And just in case you forgot, just in case you forgot, what is one of the titles that was given to Christ? Who is that child that was prophesied to come from the children of Israel? So we go to in the book of Isaiah, chapter 9, verse 6, verse 6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulders. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. The what? The Prince of peace. So under Christ is how we're going to get that peace? Because he's going to bring his whole world. He gonna bring this whole world in dominion under the authority of his Father. And guess what? At that point in time, this whole world will be at peace. That's when we're going. We're going to be in our right rightful rulership as the twelve tribes of Israel whom he made us covenant with. So now go back to Matthew 1:1 Matthew chapter 1, verse 1, where we be dealing with David from the tribe of Judah, who it was prophesied that Christ was come from that lineages. And when you read in Romans, chapter one, verse three, where it says the root and the offspring of David from the tribe of Judah. Now we dealt with David, dealing with Christ coming from the seed. Now we're going to deal with Abraham. So we're going to read in the book of Genesis, chapter 17, verse 1, Old Testament, verse 1. And when Abraham was 90 years old and 9. And so he was 99 years old. Continue. And the Lord appeared to Abraham and said unto him, I am the Lord almighty God, walk before me and be thou perfect. So he told Abraham to walk before me and be thou perfect. Where Abraham did that and because Abraham did that. Continue. Verse 7. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee. So he says, I'm going to establish my cover covenant with you. With you. Continue. And thy seed after thee and thy word and thy seed after thee. Continue. In the generations foreverlasting covenant to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee. Unto thee and thy seed after thee. Continue. And I will give unto thee and to thy seed after thee the land wherein thou or a stranger and all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession. And I will be their God. So the Lord told Abraham, I'm going to be a God to him and his seed after thee. And I will give unto thee and thy seed after thee the land where thou art a stranger. Let's keep on topic of focus, focusing and dealing with the seed of Abraham. So let's go to Genesis, chapter 22, verse 18, verse 18. And in thy seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed. So in Abraham's seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed. We're going to figure out what that is talking about. We read, we read it early, earlier. So all the nations of the earth is going to be blessed in Abraham's seed. So first let's deal with the seed. Go to Galatians and let's see how heavy Paul the apostle was in the Spirit. Because Paul is going to make reference to those precepts we just read, but he's going to elaborate, elaborate more on that seed. Continue. So therefore, in the book of Galatians, chapter 3, verse 16, verse 16. Now, to Abraham and his seed where the promises made. So to Abraham and his seed where the promises made. Continue. He said not two seeds. He didn't say two seeds plural. Continue. As many, but as a one, as a one being singular, one seed. Continue. And to that seed which is who, which is Christ. So that promise that was made to Abraham pertaining to his seed and his seed is going to inherit a land. And his seed is going to have an everlasting God that's going to be with him. That was referring to Christ. That was a prophet for. For Christ. So that seed is talking about Christ coming through Abraham's seed from generation to generate generation to fulfill those things that was written. So let's go to Hebrews. So we dealt with Abraham, we dealt with David. Now watch. Now watch what it says here. Listen for the precepts. Continue. In the book of Hebrews, chapter 2, verse 16, verse 16. For verily he. He took not on him the nature of angels. So verily Christ took not on him the nature of angels, meaning that celestial body. He didn't live like them when he came on this earth. Continue. But he took on the seed of Abraham. But he took on the seed. He came from Abraham's seed. Continue. Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, to his brothers. So remember what it says. In Deuteronomy 18. It was prophesied. He told the twelve tribes of Israel that there's going to be someone that's come from amongst you that be like unto Moses, amongst the brethren, the brothers. He was made to behoove himself to be just like the brothers. Meaning he came in the flesh. Why? Why did he have to do that? Continue. That he might be merciful and faithful high priest. Continue. And things pertain to God to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself has suffered being tempted. So Christ himself, because he came in the flesh, he was tempted. He wasn't part. God put all these different mythological, mythological doctrines and Catholic different comprehensions. No, that's not how Christ came. Christ came through men just like it was prophesied in the Old Testament. And he came so that guess what? He can live on earth. He got to deal with the exact same temptations that we had to deal with. That way he can be established as a faithful and high priest. To. To say, guess what? I live with.

You got to be able to understand to have a mind frame occupied on the kingdom like me, you got to resist sin. Continue. He is able to secure them that are tempted. He was able to secure them that are tempted. Now this is the last precept here in the book of Hebrews, chapter 4, verse 14, verse 14. Saying then that we have a great high priest. So then that Christ. Remember what it says in Genesis 49. It says the Scepter and the lawgiver. That high priest. That's that the type. That's the title right down, right here. High priest is a lawgiver. Seeing then that we have such a great high priest. Talking about Christ Jesus. Continue. That is passed into the heavens. That went into the heavens. Continue.
