Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of the Candy Valentino Show. Thanks for tuning in with me today. We have got a great episode planned for you. But I'll tell you what, this almost didn't happen. I actually lost my voice fully the last three days since sounded like a frog. Still don't fully sound like myself, but I'm at least feeling a little bit better. And you know, when you get paid to talk for a living in every area, whether it's consulting with a client or working on someone's financials and doing recaps or doing this show, it's really hard when you're not feeling great and especially hard when you don't have a voice. But it's back, we're here and I don't know, depending on where you live. I don't know if you saw this, but this was phenomenal. I had to share it with you yesterday morning. I was kind of like, I normally get up like 5:30 ish. It was probably like 6:30 ish just because of not feeling great. And I happened to look outside of my window and I normally get to see these amazing sunrises which I normally post on my Insta stories on Instagram. If you are following me on Instagram, I sometimes will share like an inspirational quote or a verse or something that I'm feeling or inspired by. And so yesterday I shared one of the wildest sunrises I've ever seen. And it got me thinking, like, wow, that was really cool. I wonder why. That was like so crazy. And then this morning, the exact same thing happened. I woke up, I was up a little bit earlier than normal just because I'm feeling better again. And then I look out and boom, I see this, like wild. It was actually crazier than it was yesterday. And I'm like, all right. The nerd in me is like, I gotta find out why these sunrises are so crazy. Because it was like the sun itself looked like it was on fire. But you know how, like, when you see a typical sunrise and the. The sky turns orange or pink and you know, obviously those are gorgeous, but the sky stayed blue. But just the, like, ball of the sun was hot fuchsia pink, and it almost looked like it was radiating on fire like levels as opposed to just being one solid color. And so I was like, what is that? Like, what's happening? Is there a reason for it? Well, turns out after my quick little looking around on Google, as far as what is happening, there was this intense coronal. I'm hoping I'm saying that right, Mass injection from the M 8.1 flare that rocked the Earth's magnetic field on May 31. Isn't that crazy? So there was this initial impact from this flare, and then it created a storm that peaked at G4 levels, which is super severe. And there were solar wind speeds soaring of up to 11, 700 kilometers per hour. Like, how wild is that? And those things together triggered this, like, aura that was visible on the sun's surface from certain parts of the Earth on June 1st and June 2nd. So I literally got to see a sunrise. And a friend of mine who also lives on the ocean down the street, I text him, I'm like, are you looking at the sunrise? And he's like, yes. He sends me a picture back and I'm like, oh my gosh, here I found out why. And they were like, typical candy. She's got to know the reason why is this happening. But it was so neat to see something that we're likely never going to see again in our lifetime. And I thought about that. And how does the sun relate to business and finance and what we're going to talk about today? Well, it does, because so often we see times in the market, times in business, times in our own life. And whatever the circumstances that created that moment, whether it was a certain storm in our life, a certain challenge that we overcame, who we are as a human right now in this moment is actually extremely unique. Like who you are. The cells in your body at this moment are so unique to this time right now. And I was thinking about the broader scope of the financial and business landscape, how unique it is right now where we are. We've got so many things going on as a country and in the world that is really changing the landscape of how things are going to operate and how and be different for years gener to come. And as I'm Thinking about that sun that I saw this morning and yesterday, and I think about the circumstances that caused it to look like that, everything that we couldn't see, everything that was happening in the sun, at the sun itself, the solar winds, the storm, the pressure, the winds, we can't see any of that. We can't feel any of that, we can't experience any of that, but it's happening. And I think that's the same thing of what happens in our life, whether it is a relationship goal, a health goal, a business goal, a finance goal. So often we think because we start the initiative, because we are showing up, because we're doing the hard things and we're not seeing the result, we're not seeing instant gratification, we're not seeing the other side of this challenge yet we think nothing is happening because everything still looks the same as it was yesterday. There's really no difference, right? So we think that the breakthrough isn't coming because we're still currently in a battle. We think that we are not going to get the miracle, the desire, the achievement that we want because we are still in the mess of it all. So if that speaks to you, if you are going through a financial challenge, a business challenge, a relationship challenge, a challenge at work, a health challenge, whatever it may be, and you have been putting in the effort, you've been doing the work, you've been showing up, you've been working hard, and you're like candy. I am just not seeing the fruit of all of this. That doesn't mean that the roots have not been planted. It doesn't mean that the growth isn't happening where we don't see it. You often have to go deep in something before you can go wide. And I want to use the analogy of a bamboo tree. I don't know if you know this, but I thought this was wild. I've actually used bamboo products in my renovations over the years, and I had no idea that when you plant a bamboo tree, it takes five years for the roots to grow under the surface before you will see anything sprout. 5 years. Imagine owning a bamboo tree farm and you plant all of these seeds. How do you even know that the soil is okay for it to grow? How do you know that you have the right amount of water, the right amount of sunshine, the right amount of fertilizer for the field? How do you know if it's growing underneath the surface surface for five years? So much of that is business and finance, guys. It's success. It's a life Principle. So often we want to see the fruit of that labor. But just like the bamboo tree, it will grow and grow and grow under the soil, and then the second it sprouts, it can shoot nine feet in the air in weeks. And if that isn't a microcosm of life, of money, of building wealth, of growing a business, of having a family, of trying to get successful, being the first in your family to accomplish this next level of growth, I mean, if that and that sunrise that I saw these last two days from 93 million miles away doesn't show the example that so often in life we're going through a storm, we're going through a challenge, we are planting the seeds and we are watering and watering and fertilizing and trying to figure out the soil because we so desperately want to see the fruit of our labor. We get caught up in this world of social media that tells us that everything should be happening now, when in reality, real growth, sustainable income, real businesses that last, all take time. And there are going to be times that you want to quit or it doesn't make sense because you're not seeing the fruit of all of those efforts. And in those moments when your confidence starts to shake, you have to double down on your discipline. And when you start to lose motivation, you have to double down on that mindset. Because just like that bamboo tree, you may be on year two or year four and you've worked so hard to get to this point and you may walk away and just months down the road, you're going to see the greatest reward of all of your efforts.
