Hey teachers, welcome back to the show. Today we are going to be talking all about building and launching your teacher membership this summer. We just wrapped up our amazing summit. We had the most fun talking about lessons to lasting income and so many amazing educators got to share their stories about how their memberships have changed their lives. I was left inspired and emotional and really thought hard about what I want for my future membership and how we want the CEO teacher membership to grow. And I want to share just some insights that we learned in the summit and also teach you how to build and launch your teacher membership this summer too. Well, welcome back to another episode of the CEO Teacher Podcast. Friends, I think it's important for you to note why this is the summer to stop winging it and start earning that recurring revenue that last so it's summertime for the most part in South Georgia. Teachers are getting out of school on Friday and so it's going to be a sprint to the finish for some of you. Some of you get out in the next couple of weeks. And so while you're planning your pool days, which you definitely need to reset, I want to help you reinvent as well. Because you're here to dream bigger. You're dreaming beyond stacks of paper, the Sunday Scaries, a 40 hour work week, and moving into a place that feels a little bit more in alignment. And if I could give you any advice that I got from our summit this past Sunday, which was just an entire day worth of presentations, not only from myself, but from other amazing teachers who what I gathered the most from all of these amazing conversations was that life doesn't have to be hard. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Life is meant to be here in the present and meant to be everything you ever dreamed it could be as a teacher, even if that means doing it on your own terms. And if you've been sitting on an idea, maybe it's curriculum, maybe it's something you're passionate about, maybe it's just some lessons that you're really good at teaching and you know in your heart that it can change lives. Then this episode is exactly what you need to turn any idea into a teacher membership that pays you again and again, even while you're beachside or poolside or once you get back in the classroom. Today, I'm walking you through why this summer is the perfect time to launch that teacher membership and what you actually need to get started. No, it's not a huge following, but also how I made the leap to do it. So let's go. I wanna take A little moment and go back to the summer of 2017. I was just like you, about to get out of school. Exhausted, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I had spent the school year doing all the right things. Smiling at pd, nodding through staff meetings, grading papers, sometimes in baseball practice, other times during our weekly meetings. And I was just doing it all as best as I could. But deep down, I felt like I was trading my time for pennies. And I was definitely still running. Funny enough, I actually quit my job the year of 2016. 2017. And then after a random accident on the last week of school, two of my students were involved in a car wreck with a school bus. They were injured, sent to the hospital, and I went to visit them in the hospital. And I sat on the edge of their beds, talked to them, thanked God for his mercy, hugged their parents. I was so grateful that they were okay. And when I went to leave the hospital that day, one of the parents stopped me outside on my way out and said, casey, you can't leave teaching yet. This is your calling. I get chills just thinking about it. I went and got in my car and I remember crying, just sitting there, looking at the hospital. And I felt a tug to say, so I stayed. I stayed another year, even though my heart was in another place. I knew then, in the summer of 2017, that it was my time to leave. But I really needed an extra year to get the courage to really go for it. I wasted that year of my life, I think. I don't know. Nothing's a waste. I learned a lot that year in my life. I was very laid back as a teacher. I actually had a great year. But I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was capable of this. And that's why I decided to leave. And I remember sitting in my car later on that year before I asked my principal to leave one more time, thinking at the state park and asking God, a place that we speak a lot. Is this it? Is this really the life that I'm meant to live? Well, that same week, I opened my laptop and I decided to create something small. It was my first podcast episode where teachers like us could get ideas and support. And I got to share my stories and my encouragement and an idea of a community. A few clicks, a few emails, a few recordings, zero perfection. And that became my very first idea to launch into the world. I had no idea what I was doing, but I showed up anyway. That summer, it changed everything. And that was the summer that I became more than a teacher. Now that was the summer of 2018. So fast forward from 2017, the accident. Then I taught for an entire year. I realized it was time to go. And then I had this idea. That was when I truly became a CEO and friend. If I could do it when I was at that time probably five to six months pregnant with zero clue what I was doing. You can too. You can too. So let's break this down. Summer isn't just a break, it's a window. A window to get out of survival mode and into creator vision mode. Your brain isn't fighting fires all day. You finally have a margin. And while most teachers are scrolling Instagram with a cold drink, you could be building the foundation for your future. Creating just one piece of content a week that turns into your offer and launching even to 10 people to build something sustainable. I learned a lot. Again, like I said on Sunday inside of our summit, but the main core feature that every single presenter shared was that you don't have to have a big following. In fact, you can have a very small following to have a very successful membership. And let's get real. Teachers are looking for help in the summer. Even if it's not when they first get out of school. They are planning, they are buying. They're actually thinking clearly for once without a line of kids asking to sharpen pencils. You feel me? If you want to launch with ease, this is it. Summer is your secret weapon. So here's what you actually need to launch. Spoiler. It's not a perfect website. Which is a good, good thing I think. And here's what most teachers are getting wrong. They think they need a huge audience. Nope. A finished website? Definitely not. Or 47 pre built lessons built out? No ma' am. What you actually need is a clear promise. What problem do you solve? For who? A founding offer just starting. A price for a beta group, A place to deliver it. This could even be a private Facebook group or Google Drive. And a way to accept payments. Stripe, PayPal, Kajabi. Let's keep it simple. You are not launching a full blown business here. You are inviting teachers to join you in building something valuable and you get to co create it with them. Keep it light, keep it real. Progress over perfection. So I want to teach one of the frameworks that I taught inside of our summit. It's called the Teacher Membership Framework or the Flow Method. And inside of the CEO Teacher Membership Builder program which is right now open. It's a three month intensive which is 12 full weeks of me walking you through hand in hand, side by side. A way to launch your teacher membership before you walk back in the doors next school year, I want to walk you through a small portion of what I am teaching inside of the program. But the first method inside of our CEO Teacher Membership Builder Program Intensive that is open right now through Friday night at 7pm Eastern Standard Time. You can join us at Casey morris.com build is the flow method. The Flow method stands for flow and it's the first step in building and launching your teacher membership this summer. The F stands for finding your focus. This is where we will definitely nail your niche. Not just quote unquote teachers, but what kind of teacher and what specific pain points do they have. You will learn to launch with love, inviting founding members in, testing your idea and building it out to the public. Oh, with a membership you have to offer consistent value, understand what it means to deliver monthly resources, trainings or coaching. Remember, it's whatever aligns with you. And then the W stands for win Long term. This isn't just a summer project, it's the beginning of something scalable. And inside of our Membership Builder Intensive program, we walk you through each step so you never feel like you're doing it alone. So here's your challenge. Instead of just relaxing this summer, which, yes, do that too, I want you to carve out two hours a week to build the business you keep saying you want. That's all it takes. That's all I did. And if you want the exact roadmap that I use to go from selling $3 products on TPT to to waking up to monthly payments on Autopilot, then I would love to invite you to the CEO Teacher Membership Builder Intensive. We're starting soon and I want to let you know that we are doing a live webinar tonight and Thursday. So tonight and tomorrow, if you're listening to this on the day that this podcast airs, which is May 21 and the 22nd at 8pm Eastern Standard Time, I'm teaching a brand new free masterclass called the Teacher's Blueprint to recurring revenue. Build your online membership in 90 days. This isn't fluff. It is the exact blueprint that I've used and taught to help other teachers turn their passion into monthly income, one that has generated millions of dollars. What we're talking about inside of this webinar is what kind of membership you should create based on your strengths, how to get paying members without a huge audience, the three most common mistakes new teacherpreneurs make when it comes to starting a membership, and how to skip them. And of course a 90 day roadmap that'll make this all feel doable. You can join us by going to Casey morris.comblueprint that's K-A-Y-S E M O R-R-I S.com blueprint and whether you're dreaming of just leaving the classroom someday or you're ready to finally stop living. TPT sale to TPT sale. This is your next step again. Come hang out with us tonight and tomorrow night, 8:00pm, same class. Two options. Pick the one that works best for you or come choreography. Join us for both options. Let this be the summer of becoming. Remember, you're not just recovering, you are reinventing. Starting with the flow method. This summer you stop waiting. This summer you finally say, I am made for more. You've got this. I'm rooting for you. I hope to see you soon. And as always, remember, your best is yet to come.
