Hello teachers and CEO teachers. We're so happy to have you. Last week we talked about what I think could be a great way to move your business forward in 2025. And today I want to talk about the best business decision that I made in 2024. Plus I want to give an invitation just for you. Stick around, you don't want to miss it. Welcome to the CEO Teacher where educators turn what they already know and love into a successful and sustainable with actionable strategies, simple business tips and mindset shifts. It's a weekly lesson plan for teacher business owners. Whether you're teaching full time in the classroom or rocking the small business from home life. I'm your host Casey Morris, a former Georgia English teacher, mom at a four turned seven figure online teacher, business owner and founder of the CEO Teacher Movement. Three teaching degrees got me a few extra bucks each year, but what I will show you will help you make that every single month. If you have a heart for education and a passion to use your experience to help more teachers and families, you belong here. When I look back at 2024, man, it has been a year around here from hurricanes and divorces and just so many things went on in my personal life. But what I know is this. The best business decision that I made was joining a business mastermind in February of 2024 because it was this life giving opportunity to breathe fresh air back into my business. One that I've had for 11 years now in its current state. It's been around for over six years and I don't know about you, but I go through like these five year cycles where I am on fire and super excited and then at the end of five years I'm ready for a change. I did this when I was in the classroom. I. I've done this my entire life. I just go through these seasons and I was in this crazy season of life with my business of I'm happy I have accomplished all of the things that I want to accomplish. So what's next? And of course money is always a driving factor when it comes to finding success in the online space. Especially for creating a life like you want to live and to be able to give as much as you can give. But what I really wanted was the ability to share my thoughts and feelings and emotions, ones that only other entrepreneurs could understand, with a group of like minded people. I talked about Napoleon Hill on last week's episode, the author of Think and Grow Rich and he talks about masterminds and how they are the key to success and that people should seek out the company of others who can help them achieve their goals. He first wrote about Mastermind Alliances in 1928 in his book called the Law of Success. And nearly a hundred years ago he wrote about this and yet the idea of being part of a mastermind is still as relevant today. Mastermind groups are more than just a networking opportunity. They are a powerful tool for business growth. A typical and powerful mastermind includes a diverse group of people from a variety of different backgrounds and business models. You get tons of ideas and gain knowledge that you may not be able to get by having a single conversation with just a one on one coach. So I want to break down for you the top five benefits that I found by joining a mastermind over the last year. First was I was able to get instant high value feedback. There are about 30 individuals in my mastermind ranging from a million dollars in a year to hundreds of millions of dollars, ranging from entrepreneurs to people who are in the real business space in the online world. And the value and the high feedback that I got. I remember when I was in Durango, Colorado specifically and I asked something about a membership and someone started rattling off like here are the four different types of memberships and here's the things that you can do to make sure people are the happiest inside of each of types of memberships. And I remember being like wow. The high value feedback that I was able to receive in just a short amount of time was worth its weight in gold. The next benefit is new ideas, insights and accountability. Making a point to put energy and value into showing up inside of our community every day. So we have a channel in Slack that we talk about and every day someone is sharing a new idea or an insight that they've had in their business. Plus it's this little accountability factor where we check in and we make sure that everyone is on the same path. Next is we got to collaborate and connect with other business owners. Of course. No more feeling like though I was on an island where no one knows what I do and entrepreneurship is a lonely space. So being able to be in a space with other people and not feeling like I was all alone was so important to me. Next it helped improve my business by thinking a whole lot bigger. There are a whole slew of business models out there and none of them are a one size fits all. I can't just tell you here's exactly what you should do. The beauty of a mastermind is that all of these people collectively helped me gain clarity around what would work best for my specific audience. And then finally, what I love more than anything is that it allowed me to have these new opportunities for growing my network, such as speaking engagements, traveling, friendships, and being able to collaborate with people on my business and by collaborating with other people on their podcast, inside of their books, and so much more. And the piece of all this that lights me up beyond the amazing people that I got to meet in my own own Mastermind group is that when I decided to join this amazing Mastermind, I've been in multiple other ones, but it allowed me to set the stage for inviting you to be a part of the Educators Mastermind designed specifically for you former and current educators looking to move their business to the next level. What I know is this is that when you put anything into action, you reap the reward. You already know your offers are amazing and you're ready to share them, but you need help with a bigger audience. Believe me, when you invest back in yourself, creating a greater impact and influence, you not only create wealth for yourself and your family, but you potentially created for educators around the world too. If you are an edupreneur, like a community focused teacher, business owner, if you are a doer, someone who is preservant, tenacious and hardworking, if you're multi passionate, meaning that you got a lot of things going on and you know that teaching is at the heart of that, but you don't know exactly how to take all of those beautiful ideas and encompass them into a perfect business model. If you're empathetic, passionate about being a good human and being good to all people, and you're committed, willing to put in the work to try all new things, then this is your special invitation to apply to the Educator's Mastermind.
