what is progressivism? We hear this term a lot. It comes from this idea that we must have this onward march through the institutions. There's been a couple news items lately that have been confirmation of the warnings that those of us that are conservatives have been making. In essence, progressivism in the political sense is a rejection of of human nature. You see, progressives in its purest sense. They must create a pattern of deconstruction and undermine things that work and things that are permanent. You might have saw this story in the last couple days. It says that Laurel Hubbard is the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympics. So Laurel Hubbard, who is a man who thinks that he is a woman, has competed in men's events in the past, I'm reading from foxnews.com will become the first transgender competitor to qualify to be on the country's weightlifting team for Tokyo in 2020, Laurel Hubbard said. I am grateful and humbled by the kindness and support that has been given to me by so many New zealanders, Laurel Hubbard, 43, said in a statement, according to the BBC. The report continued to point out that in 2015, the International Olympic Committee changed its rules to allow transgender athletes to to compete as long as their testosterone level is below a certain level. There's another story that came out. Chelsea Wolf, who is one of is a man who thinks again that he is a woman to compete in the Tokyo Olympics, potentially United States women's BMX riding. Now, it's bad enough that this person wants to compete against other women as a man, but then if he were to win, he said that if I win, I will burn the American flag on the podium. That's right, I will burn the American flag on the podium. You see, the agenda of decay that is at work here is a campaign to corrode the composition of our society. Now many people ask the question why? Why are they trying to do this? It's because they find the fabric of our society to be unjust. This idea of endless historical progress comes from Hegel and then was embraced by many other German historicists. Actually started at John Hopkins University. And Woodrow Wilson was probably the first American president to want to wage war on the conservative constitutional founding of our country. You see, Wilson declared War on the Founders and their moral ideas. Woodrow Wilson was an academic. He became president of Princeton University and then governor of New Jersey. And by doing so, he thought that human beings and humanity was a project. Progressivism believes that human beings are eventually perfect. It really is this struggle of whether or not you believe Darwin or do you believe Newton? Sir Isaac Newton was, of course, a Christian, wrote more about biblical prophecy than he did even in the Principia Mathematica. But this idea of, do you think humanity can't be perfected? Do you think that human beings are. Are built, are made a certain way? You see, the founders and the Framers thought that humanity was something that you cannot change, that there is a certain nature to human beings in the Declaration of Independence that is best articulated as the laws of nature and of nature's God. You see, if you believe that humanity is perfectible or constantly evolving, then you would have no problem with a man who thinks he is a woman playing in this BMX competition. Chelsea Wolf. Chelsea Wolf wrote on Instagram, quote, it's taking a bit to fully register that after so many years of work, we finally have the squad for the Olympics. And then after so much work and overcoming for so many obstacles, I'm qualified to represent the United States as an alternate rider. You see, this man who is confused about who he is, thinks he's a woman, is not good enough to compete against men, and is not even good enough to compete on the first team, the women's team. But you see, Chelsea Wolf, I'm guessing that's not the birth name. They are nothing more than a vessel and, dare I say, an embodiment of the worst aspects of this corrosive agenda of American progressivism, which is, if you think that there is an institution that is impenetrable, it is your right, it is your duty actually, to. To try to infiltrate it and corrode it. And so this is a very. This is an important question that if you send a college to a university, they'll have an answer to this that is wrong. Which is, do you think that human beings evolve from their natural state and therefore change their composition? Or do you instead observe how we are and then try to have human beings operate within a framework of laws and rules and order? That's really what's at play here. And interestingly, some states have decided not to protect female sports. The governor of North Dakota, a Republican, decided to make a decision, Governor Bergam, that women's sports are not worthy of protection. Not understanding that there's a much broader agenda at play here, which is, it's an agenda of decay. Something that is, that works, something that has order and rules must be protected and preserved where the other side thinks it should be infiltrated and usurped. And a very simple question by those people that wish to corrode is what is worth preserving, what shouldn't change? You see, the progressives, as they call themselves, are anything but progressives. They say that we want advancement, when in reality it's an agenda of discord, one of confusion and disunity. And it's best embodied by Chelsea Andrea Wolf saying that if you do not let me compete against women because I think I'm a woman even though I'm a man, then therefore you do not have empathy, therefore you do not, you do not have a heart for people like me, when in reality it should be, hold on a second, we have a heart for the women that do not have the same sort of physical advantage that you have. And so Wolf continues to write that if she wins, not only she will not have gratitude for the nation, but no, no, no. But she best embodies this by saying, I will burn the American flag if I win. That if I win this competition in the Tokyo Olympics, I will burn the American flag. And now this agenda of decay, as we have said, it only stops when we are willing to endure the names they are inevitably going to call us. And we fight early and we preempt this. This transgender nonsense that's happening in the country is largely because we, those of us that believe in biological standards and eternal and divine truth, were afraid of the potential names they were going to call us. And now we see how it's actually impacting the rest of society. We're seeing that it does not just stop with this, it goes to, no, no, I'm going to blow up the American flag with dynamite.

Charlie to learn more, I'm going to read Just Hilarious. In Newsweek, it says critics say Hubbard has an unfair advantage. We're talking about the man who thinks he's a woman in a weightlifting competition. But others have argued for more inclusion at the Games. So if it's all about inclusion always, then why have any sort of age parameters? Why do we not have adults competing against 12 year olds, though? Because inclusion, inclusion is the ultimate priority. Then why have any sort of discrimination at all based on age or based on sex? Belgium's Anna Venable again will likely compete against Hubbard and said her presence in Tokyo would be like, quote, a bad joke for women's competitors. But New Zealand's government and the country's top sporting body have backed her inclusion. BMX rider Chelsea Wolf will travel to the Tokyo Olympics with Team USA making history as the first trans athlete to go to the Olympics on the US Roster. Wolf will only officially compete if one of the other two qualifying riders, Hannah Roberts and Paris Banegas, drop out. So this man who thinks he's a woman is not even good enough to make the team despite him cheating. Fox News had some comments on this. A great segment on this play. Cut 29, please.
Fox News Reporter or Commentator
This Olympic athlete, Chelsea Wolf. There's a Facebook post that has surfaced from the March of last year. She says, my goal is to win the Olympics so I can burn a US Flag on the podium. This is what they focus on during pandemic, hurting trans children.
Charlie Kirk
And then cut 30 is Fox's Carly Shimkus continues to point out that winning a medal is not just about you, but your nation and national pride.
Fox News Reporter Carly Shimkus
Cut 30 Olympics and winning a medal is not just about you. It's about your country representing your nation. National pride. I mean, think about that moment where you win and you are in the tallest podium and everybody in the country is looking at you representing them. The national anthem is playing and she said that she wanted to burn the American flag on that podium. What an unfortunate moment. It's a slap in the face to this country that actually affords her the ability to say those things without ramification with dynamite.
Charlie Kirk
He said, not she. He said, and this athlete, I guess, who's not good enough to compete against men, decides to change to be a woman and then can't even make the first team, and then says to any sort of duty to their nation, if I win, I'm going to go burn the American flag with dynamite. But this is exactly their agenda. The agenda is to corrode the composition of a working society. They find everything so unjust. Anything that exists, they must attempt to infiltrate it. And so this really is the struggle against what is worthy of preservation, if anything. And those of us that actually see things at work, we have practical wisdom and prudence and hopefully some form of a judgment. We must be unafraid to endure what any sort of names they will call call us to say, no, you're not actually competing against women. Go find something else to do. Go try to compete against men. If you still think you're a man and if, if you think that humanity is some sort of ever changing project, then this makes perfect sense for you. But for those of us that think that you're made in a certain way, then all of a sudden we must say there are certain things that should not change that. The cult of progress that wants to change things for the sake of changing them has had such an incredible track record of destruction in our country's history. And for any of you that might have young ladies in your life that are athletes, what kind of message does to send to them? You know, the left always says they stand for women's rights. Well, what is a woman? They're not even able to define that. They say anyone who chooses to be a woman. We got an email@freedom charliekirk.com hello. My two teenage daughters, 19 and 15, attended the Young Women's Leadership Summit in Dallas last weekend. We loved every minute of it. Thank you for all the work you do. We are now faced with a problem that I'm hoping you can help us with. My girls are both Olympic weightlifters at the national level. Our goal is to make a world team and go to the Olympics. USA Weightlifting just announced yesterday their new inclusion plan for men athletes or transgender athletes. My girls have been trained tirelessly for years. We've moved to be closer to our gym and our coach. We have spent thousands of dollars with travel and competition Fees. Now we are faced with competing against biological born males, which is not right or fair. After we're given this announcement, I knew right away that there's something must be to speak out. I email the lawyer and the law firm page any insight you could give us. I'm sorry to say, but you said right or fair. No, those are objective terms. In the new America that is being ushered in by the cult of progress, nothing is right and nothing is fair. It's only your opinion. It is your truth. Who's to say that a man who has muscle mass cannot instantaneously has more muscle mass change his identity to go compete against women? And Candace with your question. I'm going to answer it in the following segment in one way that if we do not challenge us in the courts or through our legislatures, which the governor of North Dakota decided not to do, there will be no such career for your daughters. Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

Darwin or Newton? Which one guides the American left? Darwin believed that everything is constantly evolving, that things are going to change always. Newton did not have that belief. Newton was an observer. He was a friend of Sir Francis Bacon, who of course invented the scientific method. And the Founding fathers had a Newtonian view of the world. The framers of the Constitution believed that they were the laws of nature and nature's God. They said that in the Declaration of Independence. It was built into the soul and the imprint of who we are now. The President who is probably one of the least known presidents in American history that was probably the worst philosophical president in American history, who's largely to blame for this kind of cult of progress that we're living through, is Woodrow Wilson. Now, Woodrow Wilson and Joe Biden have a lot in common. First of all, Woodrow Wilson never deserved to be president. He became president by accident, largely because of Teddy Roosevelt running against William Howard Taft in the election of 1912. Secondly, Woodrow Wilson wrote openly and rather eloquently, but in a very, very, I think, deceitful way. He declared war on the philosophical underpinnings of the American founding. You see, Woodrow Wilson believed that the American founding was outdated because they had not yet been enlightened with the teachings or the writings of Charles Darwin or Hegel or the historicist mind. They believed that human beings evolved from their natural state and that Hamilton and Washington and Adams and Madison, they were not as enlightened as Woodrow Wilson, the head of Princeton University and the Governor of New Jersey. This is best embodied by their pathological focus to try to debase and undermine anything that might have existed before that. Woodrow Wilson famously said, quote, if you want to understand the real Declaration of Independence, do not repeat the preface. Now, the Declaration doesn't have a preface, but what he meant is that opening couple paragraphs where Thomas Jefferson talks about eternal truths. And so a question for the International Olympic Committee is, will there be women's sports in 10 years, or will it just be one big sport category? Will there ever be a protected sports category? Is there anything worth preserving? Now, Interestingly, in the 1960s, there was this belief that some of the Soviet countries or the Soviet Union, they were trying to put men disguised as women to become weightlifters and bodybuilders. The way that they were able to figure out that wasn't the case is a very simple chromosomal test. XX XY ended the conversation rather quickly. But now we are subjecting our young women competitors who have on average 9% less muscle tissue, have 9% more essential fat and 3% more non essential fat. Men have at least 3% more bone density and about the same level of organ composition. And even if you were to take hormonal blockers, men against a female, man who takes hormonal blockers against a female still performs better despite all of the chemical induced therapy. But even beyond that, this is not about women's sports. This is about a question of what is worthy of preserving. And is there ever going to be a moment when this cult of progress as, and I encourage all of you to go read Woodrow Wilson's 1913 essay, what is Progress? He says, that is the human ideal, the ideals to change things. And do you see how clever the collectivist left is in doing this? Is they say, oh, for example, Barack Obama, his 2008 slogan was literally changed. And then 2012, forward. We must continue this forward march through the institutions. Now, hilariously, some members on the left actually want some things not to change. In fact, when they're presented with their own pathological ideology, some of them get slightly more nuanced. The greatest example is probably one of the most corrupt and one of the most scatterbrained and dare I say paranoid, somewhat schizophrenic senators out there. One of my least favorite people in office, Sheldon White Club. I mean, Sheldon Whitehouse. I'm sorry. So let me just tell about Sheldon Whitehouse. This guy is very, very paranoid. He actually attacked Turning Point USA in an open letter in January or February saying that the Internal Revenue Service should investigate Turning Point usa, our organization, because we had an event where people weren't wearing masks. I kid you, that is reasoning that we were not social distancing. Therefore, the Internal Revenue Service should come after Turning Point USA 2017.
Interviewer or Moderator
You had expressed concerns about the membership of the All White Bailey's Beach Club, said that you hoped it would become more diverse. Has there been any traction in that? Are there any minority members of the club now?
Interviewee or Local Official
I think the people who are running the place are still working on that, and I'm sorry, it hasn't happened yet.
Interviewer or Moderator
Should these clubs continue to exist?
Interviewee or Local Official
It's a long tradition in Rhode island and there are many of them. We just need to work our way through the issues. Thank you.
Charlie Kirk
Do you see Sheldon Whitehouse? He then makes a moral argument. He implies in his answer, tradition's a good thing. He ever so quietly and subtly. Not quietly, he subtly says, well, it's a tradition, therefore how dare you question it. Are you saying, Sheldon White Club, that certain things should continue to exist in its current form? Are you trying to say that things should not change? Always. You see, Sheldon White Club house or House club, who is again, not a fan. I'm not a fan of his and he's not a fan of mine. So we have that in common. Actually, we don't like each other. And he's attacked our organization, I think, unfairly and unjustly. He even says, well, look, it's been around for a while, so what do you want to get rid of history? Well, that's exactly what they want to do you see? And I'm going to play a tape here. This is part of the agenda. What if I told you that a Colorado mayor has now gotten rid of the Pledge of Allegiance? Let's play cut 33 first, then cut 32 again. This is part of the agenda. It's an agenda of usurpation. It's an agenda that they call advancement because the Pledge of Allegiance was written before we were all anti racist and that we were awoken to the reality that even some Democrats like Sheldon Whitehouse say, well, hold on, some tradition must matter and this is a collision course that's going to end up happening in the Democrats because yes, some things are actually really nice and worthy of protecting that even Democrats enjoy, including their incredibly upper middle class communities like Aspen, Colorado. But I just want to give you this, one of these examples here. FOX News report on Shane Vernon who says the Pledge of Allegiance should no longer be used. Cut 32. Let's talk a little bit about.
Fox News Reporter Shane Vernon
Let's take you out to Silverton, Colorado, where out of nowhere Mayor Shane Furman decided at the board of trustee meetings, which apparently he presides over, there would no longer be a Pledge of Allegiance. Said he suspended it, he said due to direct and indirect threats, comments in and out of public meetings and general divisiveness and issues created, created in our community.
Charlie Kirk
I don't know what this mayor thinks he's doing, but he thinks he's a member or a participant in the progressive agenda that we've talked about that Woodrow Wilson articulated. Again, it's this historicist belief, endless historical progress. Nothing must be permanent. Get rid of the flag, get rid of genders, get rid of sports. What they will replace it with, they're not so sure about. But whatever it is, it must go. But the people rose up against it. The members of the city council said
Charlie Kirk (Ad Reads)
we're not going to take this.
Charlie Kirk
They defied him. And then he immediately says I'm going to kick you out if you do it again. Cut 33.
Interviewee or Local Official
Direct and indirect threats, inappropriate comments in and out of public meetings and the general divisiveness issues creating in our community. We will not be doing the Pledge of Allegiance during town of Silverton Board of trustee meetings.
Charlie Kirk
But it's just been done for a long time.
Interviewer or Moderator
We all took an oath and we as a board collectively decided it would be done.
Interviewee or Local Official
This is not up for discussion at this moment. I'd note that that's out of order and we did have a one strike policy. I'm not going to ask everyone to Leave tonight. But if something like that happens again, we will.
Charlie Kirk
Shane Vernon, whoever this guy is, is the ultimate definition of the micro tyrant. You see, people, Joseph Stalin was able to assume power because of thousands of smaller micro tyrants like Shane Vernon, who decided to go remove history and were willing to implement that. This guy's. This guy is a mayor of a rather decent pro American town in southwestern Colorado. And his agenda is not to get people back to work, not to stem the curve of the Chinese coronavirus.
Guest or Supporter of Charlie Kirk
No.
Charlie Kirk
His agenda is to remove the Pledge of Allegiance and then his members defy him. And he says this is out of order, this is out of protocol. I'm not going to ask you now, but I'm going to have to use force if necessary. And this all plays together with Chelsea Wolf. Is that the person's name? Kelsey? Andrea Wolf. Laurel Hubbard, who's a New Zealand athlete. Do you feel like things are changing too fast? I do. Do you think that as if there's a almost religious fervor to move something that might exist away just because it existed beforehand? This is not sustainable. In fact, it's very unhealthy.
Charlie Kirk (Ad Reads)
It's.
Charlie Kirk
It's deeply disturbing and it's a rejection of. Of a. Of a pattern and a rhythm of the ancestors and the people that came before us that had things that worked. And it's also rooted in another word. It's rooted in pride. Imagine how prideful you must be to think that all of a sudden you're so enlightened to want to remove the Pledge of Allegiance, to want to destroy women's sports. Come. What do we do about this? What do we do to confront this idea that it seems as if everywhere we turn there's something that exists and they want to take that down. The only thing we can do is to play offense. We no longer have to. We no longer can just allow the other side to determine or dictate the terms of engagement. I want to show you what playing offense is. Playing offense is when a 9 year old goes to a PTA meeting and says, you said there were no politics or BLM in our schools and you were wrong and you lied. Playing offense means you go find powerful people that are doing bad things and you call them out, full of grace and truth and love, but direct to their face. This is a nine year old student. And if you're sick like I am and you are exhausted at seeing every institution that has worked decay in front of your eyes, it's no longer upon us to manage that decay. It's time for us to play offense against the people that are administrating the decay.
Young Student
Weeks ago, at this very meeting spot, no politics in school. I believed what you said at this meeting. So at lunch I went up to my principal to tell him about the BLM poster and that I wanted it down. He said, it's not coming down. I was like, yeah, it is. Because the school board said on May 25, no PLM or politics in school. He said, that's weird. They were the one who. They were the ones who made them.
Interviewer or Moderator
I was stunned.
Young Student
When I was here two weeks ago, you told us to report any BLM in our schools. Apparently, you know they're in our schools because you made the signs.
Charlie Kirk
There's a student who says, wait a second, you made a rule publicly and then privately you're deceitfully and almost engaging in treachery, undermining that rule. That's what must be done. Because almost at every single turn, for example, the International Olympic Committee says, we are dedicated to fairness. If you're dedicated fairness, why are men competing against women? Hold them to their own book of rules. And a nine year old has the wisdom to actually be able to spot this and then the courage to do something about it. Play cut to cut 8.
Young Student
There should be no BLM in schools, period. Does not matter the color you make, the posters and the font you use. We all understand the meaning. It is a political message about getting rid of police officers rioting, burning buildings down while King Governor Waltz just sits on his throne and watches. We all know changing the font or the color of posters does not change the meaning. I am nine years old and I know that
Charlie Kirk
that nine year old has more wisdom than the combined Harvard faculty. And that's what it's going to take. That's an offensive strategy. No longer just reacting, but going after the source of the administration of this cult of progress. Remember, progressivism at its core in the modern American sense is a rejection of human nature. Go read Woodrow Wilson's 1913 essay of what is Progress? He says very clearly that he thought that this idea of permanent, permanent checks and balances were unneeded to the enlightened man, to the 20th and 20th first century man. They think they are above the sort of trappings of ancestral America. If you think human beings are constantly evolving, then progressivism is for you. If you think that human nature is constant and broken, then you need to design a framework that acknowledges that it will implode. And they don't know how to play defense. They are the only offensive creatures they have no defense when they are called out. When we when we spread the light and we shine this darkness to light with truth, it shatters under the pressure of courageous action. Let me say that again. It shatters under the pressure of courageous action.

Episode: A Trans Invasion of the Olympics and the Left's Evil Campaign of Decay
Date: June 23, 2021
Host: Charlie Kirk
In this episode, Charlie Kirk tackles the participation of transgender athletes in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, specifically focusing on Laurel Hubbard and Chelsea Wolf. Framing these events as symptomatic of a broader progressive campaign to "corrode" American society, Kirk draws connections between progressive ideology, historical movements, and contemporary culture war battles. He repeatedly advances the argument that tradition and immutable institutions are under siege, and calls for listeners to go on the offensive to protect these values.

"It's no longer upon us to manage that decay. It's time for us to play offense against the people that are administrating the decay." (27:41)
The episode is confrontational and unapologetically combative, employing vivid language ("agenda of decay," "cult of progress," "micro-tyrants") and framing the issues in stark, existential terms. Kirk frequently uses direct, simple language for impact and appeals to a sense of embattled tradition.
This episode of The Charlie Kirk Show frames recent developments in athletics and culture as part of a much larger battle against what Kirk sees as insidious progressive forces seeking to uproot core American values and institutions. He urges listeners to recognize these patterns, resist passivity, and take the offensive—whether in legislation, litigation, or everyday community actions.
