Hello, everybody. I'm Blake. We'll be having Charlie join us in about 10 minutes. He's racing into the studio right now. Welcome to the show. If you're here, you all know what's going on. About an hour ago, President Trump announced via Truth Social. How else? He just said, quote, we have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordeau, the Natanz and Isfahan. All planes are now outside of Iranian airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site. For doe, all planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American warriors. There is not another military in the world that could have done this. Now is the time for peace. Thank you for your attention to this matter here. He then said a few minutes later, I will be giving an address to the Nation at 10pm from the White House regarding our successful military operation in Iran. This is a historic moment for the United States of America, Israel and the world. Iran must now agree to end this war. Thank you. So he says he'll be speaking at 10pm Eastern. That is about 40 minutes from now. We'll obviously be watching those remarks live and then we'll reacting to them afterwards. Like I said, Charlie will be joining us. We'll also have producer Andrew, probably Jack Posobic, maybe some reporters. We'll be getting them all right here. So to highlight those places we struck, can we get our map of the locations in Iran? The main one they were focused on is Fordo. Fordo. That is a location in central Iran. It's one of those little red cylinder shapes. That is a major underground facility where Uranium Enrichment for potential nuclear weapons was conducted. The reason that was a big deal, the reason there was a lot of people in Israel and in the United States arguing for the US to strike it is it's an underground facility, deep underground. So normal bombing for the most part, can't damage it. So what they wanted was a US big bunker buster bomb. We have this 30,000 pound bomb that can go deep underground and detonate. So it's capable of destroying locations that are hundreds of feet underground. I saw some reports on X that we dropped. I believe they said 30, or maybe it was. I think it was 30 tons of bombs, which would basically amount to two of these. It's about £30,000. So £60,000, 30 tons of those. We also struck one of the other sites, Natanz, that's another enrichment plant. And then Isfahan, that is a major city in Iran, but it had one of their nuclear facilities in it. So those are the locations that they hit. As Trump said, it sounds like we hit them at this point about two and a half hours ago. And all of our bombers would already be out of Iranian airspace and back to wherever they took off from, which might be somewhere in the Middle east, might be as far away as the Pacific if they flew in from our base in Guam or wherever. President Trump has signaled he wants this to be the end of America's intervention in this. We've talked a lot about this on our program. You know, what would the results be if we intervened in Iran? You have people who are campaigning for full regime change. They want to topple the ayatollah, that's the religious leader of Iran. They want to overthrow the Islamic regime, install a new government. Some of them want boots on the ground. We have been arguing very strongly against that level of intervention on this show for reasons that you can anticipate. Regime change has not gone well for us in the Middle east for the past 25 years. Afghanistan failed, Iraq was a bloodbath, Libya was a disaster. We don't really want to do another one of those in a country that is three times as big as Iraq has, has four times as many people as Iraq did when we invaded it. Lots of downside to that. But the argument that some have made and that it seems won over President Trump is you can do a limited strike on Iran. You can hit their nuclear facility, keep them from getting a nuclear weapon, show that we are dead serious about that, but then signal, that is as far as we want to go. Our goal is not to destroy your country. Our goal is not to overthrow your government. Our goal is you can't have a nuclear weapon and we won't let you. And that's something President Trump has been saying for the past decade. He said in his very first, I believe his very first speech as a candidate about 10 years ago, he said Iran. He said Iraq was a disaster. And he said Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. And that would chart out to. I am willing to bomb Iran to stop their nuclear program, but I am not interested in regime change.
