Let's get right into it, people. Are emailing us lots of different questions. Okay, let's go here. Hi, Charlie. It seems fairly likely that there will be at least some illegal aliens that will be made citizens. What are some ways that conservatives can start marketing themselves to these people? If they are going to vote, they might as well vote red. Thanks for taking the question, Grace. We got a similar question a couple days ago about this, which is, shouldn't we grant amnesty in exchange for border security? Absolutely not. No amnesty, under no circumstances we should support. First of all, they would just promise us border security and it would never actually happen. But it is absolutely completely immoral to reward blatant law breaking. It's not just the breaking of the law across the border, but for the adults that broke into our country and continue to live illegally, harboring themselves in the interior of our country every day they were here was breaking the law. Now some people say, charlie, where's your compassion? Our compassion is built into our legal immigration system. You see, part of the calculus of how we design an immigration system should be about protecting American workers, first and foremost, protecting American citizens, trying to have a vibrant American middle class. And then since we do have abundant wealth and resources, a small component can be, say, okay, we will take some immigrants if there is a war torn country. And there's been a lot of good scholarship about the scam of refugee resettlement, such as how it plays on the system and how it's not what it's supposed to be. But the point is, we already have based into our system the most compassionate and I would argue, overly generous immigration system in the country. And this is why last spring I said that we should have a moratorium on all new people coming into the country. What about our recent college grads? What about our recent high school graduates that cannot find jobs? Our immigration policies right now disenfranchised them. But the question was, what can we do to win over illegals that are given amnesty? It's not an easy question to answer, but I do believe that Hispanics and Latinos, and by the way, we have our Young Latino Leadership Summit coming up here in Phoenix, if anyone wants to attend, are more conservative than they are liberal, especially on issues of values issues, morals, pro life, pro marriage, anti rioting, not at all in favor of BLM Incorporated, pro entrepreneurship, pro small business. So I believe that the Hispanic and Latino community can be won over on conservative values. Do I think that's a reason to relax our immigration laws? Absolutely. Not. In no way whatsoever. How do we grab more of the share of higher education and culture? Do conservatives open up their own colleges? Do conservatives open up their own studios like the Daily Wire is doing? Thanks so much, Jeff. Jeff, great question. Well, that's part of what we're trying to do here on the Charlie Kirk Show. And when you guys Support us@charliekirk.com Support you guys, allow us to continue to do it. The answer is yes, Hillsdale is a great college. There's a few others that do a wonderful job, but not enough. We need to take back cultural terrain everywhere we possibly can across the country. One of the big problems is that we are always on the left's terms. We are always contesting on their terrain. They're always the ones that are defining the rules of engagement. So how do we grab more of the share of higher education and culture? I have three moonshot ideas that are somewhat provocative that I believe can save the country quickly. Number one, we must double the homeschooling population in the next five years. Double it. Give financial assistance where necessary, curriculum assistance, create co ops. We must double the homeschooling population. Number two, we must make sure young people marry earlier. Young people waiting till they're 30 or 35 or not getting married at all is a tragedy for our country. And those families need to have many children, lots of kids. And number three is that we must reduce college enrollment significantly. We need less people going to four year college. This is my next book that will be coming out in August or September where I'm going to make the argument that you should not go to college. Now, maybe if you want to become a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer, maybe, but that's less than 10% of people that go to college. We have way too many people in America going to college. We need more plumbers, electricians and carpenters, computer engineers, entrepreneurs, police officers, firefighters, and a lot less people that study North African lesbian poetry or South African migratory bird studies. We need people that, first of all, producer Connor, who does an amazing job, has a degree from an esteemed university, I might add. And he said, when I got my political science degree, we were just taught Plato's Republic and not ever taught Aristotle. Those are his words. And we went through Aristotle in great detail and will continue to, because I believe that the more we study the classics, the more we'll understand exactly where we are today. The point is that there's so much that is not taught in these universities that where you think what you're paying for, you're not even getting. So we have a generation of young people that's borrowing money. They do not have to study things that don't matter to find jobs that don't exist in a cycle of indebtedness. And so those are the three very somewhat provocative objectives that we need to go at. And I understand that homeschooling can be very intimidating for a lot of young families. It could be expensive. You have to remove yourself from the workforce. I would make the argument that it is absolutely the best decision possible. One of the top correlations of making sure that your child remains either a Christian or a conservative or consistent with your viewpoint is homeschooling. Homeschooling used to be something that got a bad rap when I grew up. Like all the nerdy kids were homeschooled with no social skills. I find the exact opposite to be true. They are the wisest, most clear thinking, most driven, most qualified young people that we deal with at Turning Point USA or here are on the Charlie Kirk Show. So it's a great question, Jeff, and I'll close with this on that question, which is we need to think more critically about what institutions that we automatically support. What companies do you purchase products from, what streaming services do you use, what authors do you support? And if they are not consistent with your viewpoint, or if you at least don't believe that they're tolerant of your viewpoint, then maybe it's time to disconnect and seek other pastures. hi Charlie. My name is Teddy, a Turning Point USA chapter president. What should I tell students who are scared to join Turning Point USA because they are afraid the school will fail them? Well, I don't think the school will fail them, so I think that fear can probably be addressed. I think more directly though, your fear is not incorrect. If you get involved with a conservative group, if you get involved with Turning Point usa, you will likely lose many of your friends and you'll become socially targeted. Aren't I a wonderful recruiter for Turning Point by saying this? But our numbers are unbelievable at Turning Point USA. We're starting new chapters. TPUSA.com and one of the main reasons is because this generation, unlike generations before, understand the threat of the left and they're willing to do something about it. And so, Teddy, I first want to say thank you for starting a Turning Point USA chapter. I hope to meet you if I have not met you already and I apologize. I meet so many of you. We have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of these unbelievable young leaders. And so Teddy, to answer your question, though, it's understandable that people will be afraid, but continue to try and advocate and organize and tell your friends, like, look, it's going to get tough. We have a high threshold of what we have to articulate because there's always going to be the label that we're racist or misogynist or sexist or homophobic. But don't allow that to be a reason not to get involved and advocate for pro American ideas on your high school, your college campus. So God bless you, Teddy. Thank you so much. Okay, let's get to the next question here. Hello, Charlie, I'm a current high school senior who's trying to make the massive decision on whether or not to attend college. If I did, I plan on majoring in political science with the end goal of going to law school and. And becoming an advocate for constitutional rights in the courtroom. But I also understand that colleges have now become indoctrination camps. It's true. I'm very open to not going to college and getting involved with Turning Point USA or similar organizations. How would you advise me? Thank you so much for all you do. Sincerely, Gabriella. First of all, Gabriella, love to send you a signed copy of my book. Say that five times fast. I'm not going to give you specific advice because I don't know everything about your life. I'll give you some general guidance. Number one, you've already articulated a pretty good reason to go to college. To become a lawyer, you need a law degree. Law school is something where you will learn something applicable. You will, unlike getting a general humanities degree, women's studies, communication psychology, which is generally a bunch of balderdash. If your goal is to argue for constitutional rights in the courtroom, then you should go to college. So you might say, well, what college should I go to? It depends how confident you are in your conservative beliefs. If you are confident in your conservative beliefs and you are convinced you will not be indoctrinated, then go to the best possible law school you can and graduate as quickly as possible. Now, you obviously have to get an undergraduate degree before you go to law school. And it looks like you have your act together. And so that would be my advice. Do it as economically feasible as possible. Graduate as quickly as possible. But you already have answered my most important question that I ask young people, or they say, should I go to college? I ask, why do you want to go? Here are some bad reasons to go to college. My parents are making me, all my friends are going to. It seems like the only option I have to go to college to get a job, which is not true. And I'll prove it to you. Those are bad reasons. But Gabriella, you have a good reason. You have a specific goal in mind. The protection of constitutional rights in the courtroom. And my goodness, Gabriella, do we need people like you right now? So you have a moral good you're pursuing. There's going to be plenty of demand in law, in that arena of law. And you know why you'll be going to college. The only question is which college and how much money are you willing to spend? So, Gabrielle, I hope that's helpful, but the majority of people will say, I'm not really sure. Where I want to go. Well then before you make any of those decisions, take a pause and maybe take a gap year. Go right into the workforce, get an internship, get some credits done, maybe at a local community college. Take a deep breath before you go borrow all this money into debt and then all of a sudden you have a liability for the rest of your life.

hey Charlie, I have a gender perspectives class. Hope you're not paying for that. It's composed of all liberals and they seem to be convinced we live in a male dominated society. How can I convince them that no one gender dominates America? Well, actually Ryan, I'll push back a little bit. One gender does dominate America. Women dominate America. Women are not just doing a little bit better than men in our country. They're doing better in almost every single statistic. There's a couple big lies that exist in American politics, one of which is that the parties somehow switched in the 1960s. The Democrats have always been the party of racism and they are the party of racism today. The Democrats went from the plantation to intimidation to entitlement with their handling of black voters. That's one of the biggest lies. Another big lie that is constantly told is that America is a systemically racist country. One of my least favorite lies is that America is a fallow, logo centric society advancing and protecting the teachings of a white, heteronormative patriarchy. That sounds like a bunch of rubbish, you're right. But for $2,000 a credit hour, you can learn about all that garbage. So Ryan here asks a great question. How do I respond to this? When a bunch of liberals in my class or professors or friends or neighbors say that America is a patriarchy and that women are suffering, the exact opposite is true. There is a war on men in America, and every statistic shows this. Do you know that boys have higher rates of suicide and mental illness and lower achievement in education? As boys become young men, their suicide rates go from equal to girls to six times that of young women. Another alarming statistic is that young men appear to be losing a sense of purpose, increasingly feeling alienated, withdrawn, or addicted to immediate gratification. Do you know that there are millions fewer boys that are enrolling in college? I think that's a good thing generally, but the point is that they just disconnect from society altogether. It's not like they're going and pursuing other careers. Tens of thousands of young men perished last year, victims of the opioid epidemic, which, by the way, disproportionately impacts young men. And yes, you're not allowed to say this, but young white men, you know, 1 in 10 black men in his 30s is in jail, and more women are doctors and graduates of college and getting master's degrees. The Princeton economist Dr. Alan Kruger reported that more than 11% of men ages 25 to 54 were unemployed and not seeking work. Other data suggests that many of the nation's white men are struggling with both physical and mental health problems, while other ethnic and racial groups have seen their health improve over the last couple years. Julia Pollack, a labor economist at jobs marketplace ZipRecruiter, told CNBC that in 2019, female dominated industries soared while male dominated industries plummeted. Quote, the economy created exactly 10 times as many jobs in services sector than in the goods producing sector in 2019. So to summarize all of this, men are more likely to kill themselves, men are more likely to die at work, men are more likely to die at war, men are more likely to declare bankruptcy, men are more likely to be addicted to substances, and women are more likely to be financially solvent. By the way, you know, life expectancy for women is substantially longer than it is for men. You know that women have less health problems than men in America. Can you show me a singular statistic that shows that men are doing better than women. 1. Now the 1 they might show is they say, well, look at this. It shows that men are earning more money than women in the workforce. Not true. It's not true. If you account for years in the workforce, degree and occupation, women actually earn more than men. One of the reasons those statistics are even publicized is because a lot of women voluntarily leave the workforce in their late 20s or early 30s to have children. That is when most raises and promotions occur. And that's when men who don't usually leave the workforce to raise children get those raises and promotions. But guess what? We're seeing that flip upside down as young women are being told, go pursue some corporate career. And it creates single, angry, miserable, college educated women who are 32 and 33 that have a biological clock ticking, saying, maybe I should reproduce, but no, I'm gonna go try to make partner at some law firm. I end up being eternally miserable. Whereas there a new phenomenon in our country is the working woman and the stay at home dad. And in certain circumstances, I guess that's fine. I've seen where it can work. In most circumstances, it's a complete and total disaster. The emasculated man and the masculated woman or the masculine woman is a recipe for disaster. Basically. I don't even call that. It's a partnership that is just waiting for divorce. And I've seen it happen dozens of times. And the data reinforces it. So to answer your question, Ryan, and you should use these statistics against your professor and just ask the question, what is dominated by men now? They say, well, there's more men than women in Congress. Yeah, because more men run for office, less women run for office. True. They say, well, more men run corporations. Again, men are more likely to dedicate their life to climbing the corporate ladder where women are less likely to do so. And when they do, they actually are climbing the corporate ladder faster. I would make the exact opposite argument. We need to focus on the war on men in our country. Without strong men, your whole society falls apart. Strong men, strong women. You know what we have right now? Angry women and weak men. Thank you for your question. Let's get to the next question here. Hi, Charlie. Do you think that the division within the Democrat Party will result in the development of a new political party? I find it humorous that this is more of a possibility than Trump starting a new party, which has proved to be false. I'm interested to hear your thoughts. Potentially, I think that the Democrats could splinter. I think that they have so many competing factions. But I think it's more, it's more of a danger that Republicans actually fracture and we have to try to keep the Republican or the conservative movement together. And one of the most important announcements of the last few weeks that was not mentioned, of course, in the media is that Donald Trump has said he's not starting a third party. That Donald Trump has said that, that he's not going to start a third party is going to work within the Republican Party. Do you notice how the media conveniently didn't cover that story? They don't want you to hear that. They want the splintering and fracturing of a third party. Let's get to another question here and email us freedomarliekirk.com hello Charlie, I'm a huge fan. I started going to college five years ago. I went for a year at a community college. I got so frustrated how hard to they were teaching all their leftist policies and all their viewpoints on me. I realized I could do better for myself if I were to change directions and go to trade school. Good for you. I'm now an electrician where my political beliefs are not questioned every day. My question is this. Why do high schools across the country not push trade schools? It's always college this and college that. They never say how great of a living you can make if you were to join a trade. Ryan, I want to send you my book, Free Freedom. Charliekirk.com and Ryan, your story is one of the reasons why I'm writing my next book. You're an electrician, you have a wage, you're working in the muscular class. No debt. Well, I hope you have no debt. And you bring up an unbelievably important point. High schools are pushing college upon our kids in a predatory fashion. You must go to college to succeed. No, that's not true. The national graduation rate is 59%. 41% of people that graduate college will graduate and I'll get the exact number. But somewhere between 20 or 30% of college graduates actually end up getting a job that is directly applicable with their degree. So Ryan, why are they pushing college so aggressively? Well, because college makes great liberals and dependent voters. College makes you a weaker person, not a stronger person. It makes you a more intolerant person, not a more tolerant person. And of course there's exceptions. There are people that say I did wonderful because of college. That's fine. The general rule though, the general trend is you will become an angrier, more indebted, more self involved person and less wise person. Why Is there no wisdom in college because there's no God. No God, no wisdom. You do not need to get a four year college degree to succeed. Now I did not go to college and some people say, well story. Your story is not applicable to everyone else. Charlie, that might be true, but I can tell you that not having a college degree made me work harder and opened up more doors for me than feeling entitled that I was supposed to be given something by going to college. And I know plenty of people that have gone to college and they found value in it. But I know more people and based on all my study and all my travel and the data supports this, the macro data, there is a massive disgust with the value that is delivered for most universities and colleges. According to the Washington Post, only 27% end up getting a job in a field related to their major. Thank you Connor. It is exactly the number I was thinking of. 27%. So if you go to college, you only have a 6 in 10 chance of graduating. 6 in 10. And then if you graduate of that 6 in 10, you only have a 3 out of 10 chance to round up to actually get a job in something applicable to your major. If a business had a track record like this, they would be criminally investigated for racketeering. It's a legalized racket. In fact it's a taxpayer subsidized racket. If you go actually and see what degrees people get based on major, only about 11 to 12% of all the degrees across the country are in science, technology, engineering, math or law. The rest are communications, sociology, humanities. Which might be fun ideological explorations, but why do you need to go into debt redirect your life to go learn about Nietzsche's nihilism or the Hegelian dialectic or Rossoian philosophy? You don't. The Lord has blessed us with phenomenal Jesus loving teachers and administrators to work alongside us in the education of our children. Do you have any specific supplemental materials that you'd recommend to ensure they are getting a well rounded foundational views when it comes to history, civics and political science? Thanks for all you do. Mary Michael Taylor yes, the Hillsdale courses are phenomenal. I take them. There's 25 of them. And we might have some big announcements there, you know, about how we're going to continue to promote them. I think they're phenomenal. I really do. Hillsdale is great. And then also my other recommendation for you have a wonderful bible verse, Luke 1:37 for nothing is impossible with God. Go to the foundation for Economic Education or go out of your way to make sure that your children understand economics. What I find in some church circles is they get the morals, they get the values, they get a little bit of American history and very little to no economics. God made the laws of nature. Our founding fathers understood this. In the Declaration they said the laws of nature and nature is God. They mentioned God four times in the Declaration. Well, the laws of nature also apply to the laws of economics. Laws of supply and demand. They're all playing out in real time. Economics can be a lot of fun. And I my one suggestion, Mary, thank you for your question is teach your children the eye pencil. Make sure you go read Larry Reed, Henry Hazlett's Economic in One Lesson. If I could recommend one thing, it's Henry Hazlett's Economics in One Lesson. It is terrific. Thomas Sowell Milton Friedman. That's where I got my start and it still is very impactful to me. Now I'm not a libertarian purist, but if you do not have some economic literacy, then you'll start to do exactly what we're seeing in our government in both political parties. So that would be my 1 recommendation and suggestion is really dedicate yourself to teaching your children about economics and doing it correctly. Your podcast has been such an encouragement and has made me start to research and pay attention to politics in my own city in British Columbia, Canada. I love Canada. Everyone's so polite. I have two questions for you. First, any recommendations of a left leaning liberal news site I could add to my list to be able to listen to at least say, my liberal friends, that I do not get all my news from the right. Second, do you know of anyone in Canada that is doing similar work to you? I'm embarrassed. Say I'm now more informed about American politics than about Canadian, that there's nothing wrong with that. So I don't know actually anything about Canadian politics. Producer Andrew says. How about the Associated Press, Reuters? I would not recommend them. What I would recommend is go find thoughtful, analytical, honest liberals like Eric Weinstein who comment on the news. They come at it from a liberal perspective, but they're very fair and they'll expand your horizons. Glenn Greenwald, Eric Weinstein, Bret Weinstein, I used to say Sam Harris, but he's been awful lately. You agree? Andrew? He's been terrible. He's been so nasty. Eric and Bret Weinstein have been better. Bret's been a little nasty to me. So Eric Weinstein, I think. But there's a couple liberals like that that I listen to cuz I find it very interesting to see how they analyze the news and information. So that would be my recommendation there. Nancy, thank you.
