Mike Cernovich
I want to thank Charlie. He's an incredible guy. His spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point usa.

We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here. Noble Gold Investments is the official gold sponsor of the Charlie Kirk Show, a company that specializes in gold IRAs and physical delivery of precious metals. Learn how you could protect your wealth with Noble gold investments@noblegoldinvestments.com that is noblegoldinvestments.com it's where I buy all of my gold. Go to noblegoldinvestments.com we want to lead with a story that has been bubbling up for quite some time and it's happening in the great state of Texas. It's a little bit of a third rail topic. Some people would say it's politically incorrect. You're not allowed to talk about it. You're not allowed to dive into why this is happening. That sounds like a perfect story for the Charlie Kirk Show. When I first read it, I'll be honest, I didn't believe it. I said, ah, this sounds like it's being exaggerated. Some people are trying to get clicks, but the more I studied it and the more I researched it, the more real it is. Now the story actually harmonizes with the tragic news of the death of my friend David Horowitz. And David Horowitz passed away yesterday, a legend who warned his entire career that if you keep on importing Muslims and Mohammedans, they're going to try and create their own communities that are not welcome with Western values. They are going to try to implement Sharia and that Western civilization is incompatible with Islam. That was his main contention. And we'll play some pieces of tape from David Horowitz later in the show. He is a legend of a man, truly. So what's going on in Texas of all places? Mind you, this is not New York. This is not California. This is Texas. And as you know, Texas Republicans are rather weak at times. They don't really know how to fight. Well, Muslims in Texas are looking to build their own epic city. Literally. It's called Epic City, the East Plano Islamic center, deep in the heart of Texas. It's in the northeast suburbs of Dallas. The plan right now is for these Mohammedans to build a 402 acre community in the Dallas suburbs. For reference, that's about four times the size of Disneyland. It would have over 1,000 homes, a K12 school, a college, retail stores, and of course, a mosque. Now, let me pause here. When's the last time Christians decided to do this? Christians should build communities like this. I look at the master plan here and I say, despite the fact that their worldview is toxic and that they want to destroy the west, you got to give them respect. It's well designed, it's well configured. They're here to spread their value system to the West. And we're like, oh, well, you know, religious freedom, really. Do the founding fathers have in mind Mohammedans coming to the great state of Texas or one of our states to build an exclusive city for Muslims? The idea is that this would all be on private property, so it could exist as a dedicated Islamic area. Developers claim the area will be open to all, which of course is rubbish, though we know. And we get the feeling anybody moving in would find themselves not very welcome. America has freedom of religion, of course, but we should be frank. Large, dedicated Islamic areas are a threat to America. We've seen how this unfolds in Europe. There are massive, huge no go zones in major European cities in Britain and in France and in Sweden. Those are real. You're not allowed to talk about them, but they are real. The police stay out of things. In no go zones, Islamic values reign supreme. Blasphemy laws, for example. If you dare question the Prophet Muhammad, they will come after you. Free speech is not an Islamic value. Free expression is not an Islamic value. It's actually the exact opposite. Submission is an Islamic value. That's literally what Islam means. Islam has conquest values. They seek to take over land and territory. And Europe is now a conquered continent. It is not what it used to be. It's a husk of its former self, which is increasingly Mohammedan So what are core Islamic values? Again, look at what happens when you run under Sharia law. And remember, under Islam, it is a requirement that believers try to get their societies to run on Sharia law. There are other takeaways here. The fact that this is even a possibility shows how our leaders, including Republicans in Texas, have for decades facilitated the great replacement of Americans with foreigners who hold dramatically and drastically different values. If your enemies are dumb enough to let you in, then you go in and you gradually build your numbers until you dominate them. Why are we putting up with this? Do we really need an extra half a million people coming in to build their own Islamic city? One of which the architect behind it said, I'm gonna read the quote here that this is going to be a Muslim only space. Then he had to backpedal that a little bit. Now this is getting a lot of attention. Now. We were fed the line about America saying, well, they're gonna assimilate. Instead they're building Islamic cities. And I say this as somebody who actually my primary care doctor is Muslim. I know plenty of good Muslims. We're not talking about individual Muslims that are good people. I'm talking about institutional Islam. Of course there are good individual Muslims. We all know them. They can be sweet, they can be charitable, they can be honoring. I trust him so much with my own personal health. And Dr. Zudi Jasser has assimilated, in fact, so much so he speaks out against stuff like this. He's trying to lead a reformation within Islam and good luck with that. As I always tell him, I hope you are successful. It's very rare. He has very different values from a lot of Muslims. Dr. Zudi Jasser. In fact, we're going to have him on the program again soon to talk about this. And he speaks out against Hamas. He speaks against Iran. He is a model of what I hope more American Muslims would be. We are not seeing that in the West. Though he is a rarity, he is an exception. Instead, we see the further radicalization of Muslims that come to the West. They don't assimilate. Has Ilan Omar assimilated to America? No. Ilhan Omar has instead tried to infect the United States of America with her radical anti American Mohammedism amongst her extreme leftist beliefs. Let's go to cut 348. This is Governor Greg Abbott. This is the all Muslim city in Texas being built with no building permits. And we're just saying, well, we can't stop it because religious freedom, a bunch of rubbish. This is a conquering ideology to Take over the west, whether by sword or whether by development. And yes, Muslims have a lot of babies and their clever tactic is to continue slowly envelop the west. Play cut 348.
Governor Greg Abbott
There appear to be multiple violations that have taken place here. One is information has been provided to investors that appears to be misleading. Another is they appear to be in violation of fair housing laws. Also we found that, you know, they talk about doing all this building, but they don't have any building permits to actually do any building. And they have challenges even getting those building permits, believe this or not. We've even received information that they may have been conducting a funeral home without legal authority. Bottom line, Laura, is that there so many questions arose, especially information that we received that led us to need to call the elite Texas Rangers to conduct a criminal investigation to find out if criminal laws in Texas have been violated.
Charlie Kirk
That's a pretty good answer by Governor Abbott. But of course he's not getting down to the core of it. And I get it. He's the governor of a big state. He's got to be political. I actually think he's doing a pretty good job on this to his credit. But I can say stuff that he can't say. I'm not the governor of a big state. And so let me just tell you plainly what he might be thinking. This is outrageous. Go assimilate. Go buy homes in Plano. Don't go build your own private development of Muslim only communities with a mosque as the center. The details here are remarkable. In their own words. Their own words they said. And by the way, there's a whole funding model. There's a recreational center, there's a senior center. This is a Muslim only community. And I'm going to read this here. Yazir Qadhi has emphasized that this will be a Muslim neighborhood. But now he had a backpedal say, oh, it's going to be well integrated. Oh, really well integrated. What example do you have that why don't you go build this in Riyadh, go build this in Lebanon, not in Plano. Go make the Middle east great again. Oh, because you want as like a parasitic force to take over the West. Got it. How's that working for Europe? I sure hope Texas has the stones to stop it. Charlie Kirk here. When faced with a threat, you might think of lethal force, but consider a less lethal option like Burna to avoid legal issues tied to firearms. As a strong advocate for the right to bear arms, I value diverse defensive options. And Byrna offers an effective alternative. Proudly assembled In Fort Wayne, Indiana. Byrna's less lethal pistol launchers loaded with tear gas and kinetic ammunition can incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes, allowing you to safely escape or call for help while reducing the risk of severe injury. BYRNA is about preventing tragedy and preserving life without the consequences of of using lethal measures. It's legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks, and over 500,000 units are in the hands of responsible citizens and law enforcement. Burna can be shipped directly to your door. I've personally tested the Burna pistol and can vouch for its effectiveness and its ease of use. Get 10% off my personally curated bundles by visiting byrna.com Charlie that's by rna.com Charlie I really want Dr. Zudi Jasser back on the show in person. At some point we should probably do that as a long form interview. I think it would perform very well as a Muslim who speaks out against this stuff. But let me also just give you some plain commentary. I'm by no means an expert in Sharia law. I think we're all about to become one. We're all about to become one because it's coming. Just understand the core elements of Islam, from sodomizing women, from female genital mutilation to one that is just so important. Our birthright as Americans. How many times we said this on the program is freedom of speech. They don't believe that. There is no reconciling that period. That should be a deal stopper. We're not gonna let you into America if you don't believe in freedom of expression. Probably a good idea, but instead we are importing hundreds of thousands of these people who believe that under Islam this is not heretical. If you blaspheme against the Prophet Muhammad, you should be killed. Oh, that's nice. So if you say for example that Prophet Muhammad was with was it her name Aisha at the age of nine? No, no, no. Off with your head. Islamic law also teaches you that if you leave Islam you should be killed. Well that that makes for a great society and the weak gutless wonders of many people. In Texas, the Texas House passed a resolution recognizing the Sharia law, Islamic month of Ramadan and Eid alt Fitr, whatever that is. They recently created Pakistan Day and a Sharia law city as we know is being built. Christians should speak out more against this. But to be perfectly honest, where are the American Jews also speaking out against this? As much as Muslims don't care for the west and care for Christians, they really don't like Jews. And you would think that the Jewish leadership of America would say, you know, this is a problem. Basically. I guess it's on us Western Christians to fight it. It's fine. We're used to it. There's so many pieces of tape here that I could play about this. And just so we are clear, this is not just a popular view. It is written in Islamic texts and it is believed by the rank and file one by one. Let's play a piece of tape here. This is very vulgar, but this is a conversation that was happening about Islam in Europe. It's very vulgar. A Muslim man explains how Muslim men see the women of the West. And so essentially, this is how. Just. This is your trigger warning. It's very vulgar. Between a guy by the name of Ahmed Khan and Halal Hogan talking about how Muslims view the women of the West. Play 361.
Mike Cernovich
Do you hear it?
Ahmed Khan
The Muslim mindset. I'm gonna have sex with these Swedish girls. Because the Muslim mindset, they're garbage. Only for sex. But I'm gonna marry a Muslim woman. Right?
Charlie Kirk
Yeah.
Mike Cernovich
I'm not gonna lie. But did you?
Charlie Kirk
No.
Ahmed Khan
I love you, man.
Charlie Kirk
No.
Ahmed Khan
I'm proud of you. But I want the Christian women to.
Charlie Kirk
Hear what you said.
Ahmed Khan
The Muslim mindset. We go to the west, the Western women, they're all garbage. They're whores. We sleep with them, dump them, and we marry Muslim women.
Charlie Kirk
Yep. Yep. Oh, it's in Texas. And here is the Texas State House just groveling to the rise of Mohammedism in Texas. Could you imagine, like Stephen F. Austin and the founders of Texas, how they would react to this? The intrepid entrepreneurs that started the state of Texas when no one else could figure it out? Play cut. 357. The clerk will read the resolutions. HR 34 by Leilani. Holy month of Ramadan. HR 36 by Leilani. Eid Al Fatir 2025. HR 38 by Leilani. Mother's Day. HR 39 by Leilani. So there they are, reading out the recognized holy days of Texas. This is in Texas, everybody. This is not Illinois. This is not Michigan. There's a very thin line between religious tolerance and cultural suicide. We will cease to exist as a country and as a civilization if this continues. So what is the solution? The first solution should be, obviously, epic City should not be built. Number two, stop importing people from these countries. Cut it off. It's done. Over. Because Islam, as I've said many times, will take out the knife. And with the slow motion slitting of the Throat of the West. Will we let them? We lost a legend yesterday. David Horowitz. David Horowitz was a mentor and a friend of mine, one of the original people who really believed in the vision of Turning Point usa. He would have these things called the David Horowitz Restoration Weekends. They would almost always be the second week of November. They'd be every year, but they would be most famous for being restoration after an election. So after a midterm election or a presidential election, they either be a time to be amongst friends if we didn't like the result, or a time to also celebrate if we loved the result. David Horowitz is a titan. He was a former communist. He wrote prolifically. He was an incredible mind. Being a former communist, he understood what motivated the left. We hit it off. I would go to the restoration weekend and he would introduce me to donors that I had no business knowing. You see, he kind of had this confab of all these donors. And as I look around the Turning Point USA complex, that building, that building, that building, all named of people that donated to us that I met at the David Horace Freedom Center. Our biggest donors to this day are people I met at David Horowitz's donor retreat. And he never cared an inch that I was there trying to meet donors. He said, charlie's doing good work. The more the merrier. You know how rare that is? Do you know how rare that is to actually go to an event where they're not trying to block you and say, these are our donors and my donors, and I try to do the best I can? Okay? People want to show up to Turning Point usa. I just kind of shrugged my shoulders. I learned that from David. No territorialism, no gatekeeping. Instead, David say, charlie's doing something great for kids. Let's do something for him. We get attacked so much by people that are so protective of their donors. And he was genuine and he was grassrootsy. And David, to his credit, I remember sitting down with him back in 2014. We were only two years into Turning Point USA, and I've cast the whole vision. And he said, charlie, you gotta be aggressive on these campuses. Make the liberals come to the mic, make the communists expose who they are and put it on the Internet. Of course, he was one of many people that inspired me to have that hyper aggressive tack to go right into the belly of the beast. And I want to play one of his pieces of tape here. This is David Horowitz doing what I now do. Way before me. This was back in 2010. I was still in high school, he would go to these college campuses and he would do an open mic, and, man, did he understand the left because he was raised as a communist. Let's play right now. Cut 340.
David Horowitz
Will you condemn Hamas here and now?
Halal Hogan
I'm sorry, what?
David Horowitz
Will you condemn Hamas?
Halal Hogan
Would I condemn Hamas as a terrorist, organ, genocide? Are you asking me to put myself on a cross so you won't?
David Horowitz
I actually have had this experience many times. You didn't read the pamphlet because the pamphlet is chapter and verse. The main connection is that the MSA is part of the Muslim Brotherhood network.
Halal Hogan
I meant, if I say something, I'm sure that I will be arrested for reasons of homeland security. So if you could please just answer my question.
David Horowitz
If you condemn Hamas, Homeland Security will arrest you.
Halal Hogan
If I support Hamas. Because your question forces me to condemn Hamas. If I support Hamas, I look really bad.
David Horowitz
If you don't condemn Hamas, obviously you support it. I'm a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn't have to hunt us down globally. For it or against it?
Halal Hogan
For it.
Charlie Kirk
And that sends chills down your spine. Boy, does that not complete what we've been talking about. This entire episode about the rise of Islam in Texas. And he had a way to provoke it and to flush it out. I encourage you guys to check out David Horowitz's books. He just wrote one right before his death that was incredibly powerful. He had this book called the Black Book. I want to get the exact title. He had a great book called Radical A Generational Odyssey. And my goodness, that's right. The Black Book of the American Left is one of the greatest books to understand the left. He also wrote a book called Hating Whitey all the way back in 1999. He was the head of the curve on all this stuff. We're gonna keep on honoring David Horowitz with Mike Cernovich at the top of the next hour because, honestly, he deserves it. And I can say this. I do not know that Turning Point USA would exist in its current form and impact if it wasn't for David Horowitz. Gentlemen, let's get real for a second. As we've been remembering David Horowitz, this program, I wanted to try to get a guest who really respected and understood the profound impact that David Horowitz had on the conservative movement. You see, David was a former communist, was a fighter. Oh, a street fighter. He loved to fight and he was good at it, but he was really on the cutting edge. I put him in a group of people, small group of people that predated my involvement in the national conservative movement. I was involved in local politics. A small group of people. It would be Andrew Breitbart, it would be David Horowitz. Bannon would definitely be on that list. Rush Limbaugh, that kind of held up the conservative movement in that 08 09, 2010, 2011 bracket where things seemed really dark. Obama looked ascendant, the country looked like it was going left, and Horowitz was one of the few people to hold the line. Joining us now is Mike Cernovich. Great friend, author, filmmaker, and really understands this, and that's why I wanted to have him. Mike, thanks for taking the time. It's too bad, it's tragic that we lost David. What is your thoughts on this whole thing?
Mike Cernovich
Yeah, I mean, losing David hurt. And then of course, Dennis Prager, we've all been praying for his recovery. You know, that hurt and what I respected about David Horowitz, and you touched on it too. But what David did, even more than, I think Andrew Bright brought a Rush Limbaugh is most people assume that people got into MAGA for the money. But I remember when, you know, you at the RNC in 2016, I remember early MAGA. I was buying a lot of dinners There it was just completely under resourced. There was no resourcing at all.
Charlie Kirk
Nothing.
Mike Cernovich
Nothing, Nothing. Yeah. And, and David Horowitz was an exception where it's not. He wasn't even a billionaire. Imagine if he had been a billionaire. The good that he would have done, but even with what he, he did is he would resource a lot of young conservatives. Give them, you know, give them stuff to do, help people out here and there. He had his Freedom Fellowship and he would promote people. And, and that's something that in 2025, people take it for granted. But there, there was no. If you were a young conservative, you couldn't really become politically active. That is why the right wing was losing. The culture was, you know, there's all these purists who say, oh, how dare people make money doing this? And it's, it's like, great, okay, then you're 22, 23, you're a conservative. What do you do with all that energy? Well, you're not going to do politics, you're not going to do media. You're going to have to go do something else with your life. And then people go, why? And then those same people go, why do we lose the youth? Gosh.
Charlie Kirk
Wow.
Mike Cernovich
What, what a mystery, right? So Horowitz, he understood a lot. He went through a lot. The early cancel culture stuff because he was a little bit older, I feel like fell under the radar. Mastercard deplatformed him.
Charlie Kirk
That's my Patreon. That's right.
Mike Cernovich
I forgot about that.
Charlie Kirk
You're right. You're exactly right.
Mike Cernovich
Yeah. So he, he was patient zero for the deplatforming. He had, you know, Jihad Watch that was always getting attacked. The SPLC smeared him and he withstood a lot of devastating hits and he was always building people up. And then what, what? Also, you know, he understood, and I don't know why people don't understand this now, but he understood that if other causes are near and dear to your heart, the best thing that you can do is help young conservatives. Because then when you want to talk to them about a cause that's near dear to your heart, they're willing to listen. It doesn't mean that they're going to agree with you, but they're, they're going to be willing to listen. So he wasn't a finger wagging moralist. I think in, in a way a lot of other people are these days.
Charlie Kirk
We can go through the list of people that got their start at David Horowitz Freedom center retreats. I'm one of them, Stephen Miller. Stephen Miller was an upstart kind of anti immigration speaker and David Horowitz was his mentor. And it's just one of many people. And can you talk, Mike? He understood the left in a time where a lot of Vichy, French, Mitt Romney Koch brother mentality was dominating the GOP. Meaning that in 2012, 2013, 2014, when I, when I was first getting my start, it was all like, look, Charlie, it's a battle of ideas and if we win the debate, we'll win the country and decency will prevail. And David would always say, that's a bunch of crap. He said, these people want us dead, they want us in prison, they want the country burned, and we must fight them and all they understand is power. Can you comment on how he was so insistent on the tactics to fight the left because he was a former communist himself?
Mike Cernovich
Right, that was interesting. You bring up the Koch brothers, because that was again, a lot of people take this for granted because the Koch brothers were anti Maga. They funded all of these libertarian, libertarian things. And everything before Horowitz was not about culture. It wasn't about the spiritual dimension. Everything was really just commerce. This is again in 2025, if you're new to politics, you don't understand that the GOP worshiped at the altar of money.
Charlie Kirk
That's right. And David never cared about that. That's, he was like, I'm talking about Islam, I'll talk about the trans stuff. He talked about race before anybody else.
Mike Cernovich
Yeah, Jihad watch got him in all kinds of trouble. Robert Spencer, even though Robert and I get into it now and then, they, they understood these cultural issues, but yet the GOP people take it for granted. And this is something we have to fight against even to this day is primarily was the party of Moloch about money. Oh, we need unlimited free markets, we need open borders. And who cares if your spiritual life suffers and who cares if you have to move away from your family to get a job? We're just all economic widgets. And that was the prevailing orthodoxy that Horowitz was fighting against. And that's what Trump was fighting against. I mean, and recently, you know, I, I enjoy me making fun of Canadians because, you know, mainly because I'm tired of certain high profile Canadians coming to my country and then, you know, telling me that we need to, to tone it down. It's like, well, you, you just left Canada though, so maybe go back to Canada and fight for Canada. But if we're being unironic or we're just being serious for a moment. Had we not had people like Horowitz and Andrew Breitbart, have we not had Trump in 2015, 2016, how would we be? We would have Mark Carney as president right now.
Charlie Kirk
That's right. This is the most profound point, Mike is probably five people that kept us from a liberal takeover of the country. It was Trump, which by the way, Trump is the inheritor of a lot of Horowitz philosophy. You know, Trump loved David Horowitz. In fact, I put them on the phone together once cuz he was like, oh, I love David. He's so good for me. And I. It was one of David's favorite moments of his life to be able to talk to the President on the phone. But Rush Limbaugh, Bannon, Breitbart, and I love what you talk about too. Can you comment on this? About two minute remaining. It was so ragtag. It was this like insurgency, guerrilla army. This was before Turning Point had anything. Right. You and I were out in the streets just kind of arguing. This is before all the trappings and before MAGA was a thing. And David was the backbone of so much of that.
Mike Cernovich
Yeah, David gave people inspiration. He gave people enough. Enough where you could kind of like figure it out. Right. The, the big thing lacking right now in the conservative world is a lot of these young people. Nobody's trying to get rich. Just help them out a little bit. Help, you know, buy a few dinners, do a few events, buy a few plane tickets. But yeah, people don't get. I found that old video of, of Charlie Kirk in 2016. I lost all my periscopes. Was a catastrophe for journalism. But for whatever reason, I had one and I posted it just Charlie Kirk on a megaphone. So. So in 2025, people think, oh, Maga this dude. You don't, you don't understand. People just showed up with a megaphone. Me and Paso just like, show up. That was all you did, right?
Charlie Kirk
And there was no Charlie Kirk show podcast. There was no. It was just. It was literally. We were at the rnc, there were a bunch of commies and we said, hey, let's just go get a megaphone. We weren't even filming it. We were just like, let's go. Let's go defend our guy. And it went viral and you were periscoping it. And you gotta understand and appreciate people in the audience. I think do that now that right. Literally, as we're talking right now, Mike, there's this cabinet meeting. We're in control of the government and all that. And it's wonderful, it's great. But we were inches, inches literally in July 13th, but despite that, inches away from becoming Canada. And David Horowitz was the one that was just in the brink, in the, in this gap saying, nope, like we're not gonna do that. Here is how you fight. You know, frequently I hear from people, man, in some ways I'm glad that my uncle, my aunt is not alive to see this. I actually with David, I'm super thrilled that he was able to see Donald Trump win back the White House. That gives me great comfort. He saw this story come to some form of completion, one that he helped design and fight for. Mike Cernovich
Yeah, because, because he was a former leftist and, and I'm glad you had me on for this second segment because something we were, we were kind of talking around but didn't put really into words between Horowitz, Breitbart and others was it's called the fighting spirit.
Charlie Kirk
Right?
Mike Cernovich
The, the left gets in our faces and we go, oh, you know, we're, oh, we're so precious. We're, we're so afraid. Oh, I don't, I don't feel safe on camp. That's totally anathema. Like the David, David Horowitz way, right? Is.
Charlie Kirk
Oh, I totally.
Mike Cernovich
I don't feel safe. I don't feel safe at Columbia. You don't feel safe walking around an Ivy League campus? Really? You guys don't? And that strain of Paul Ryan conservatism, if you want to call it that, or cuck servitism is reinfecting the younger generation. The Horowitz way, the Breitbart way. You, you know, you just, like I said, that's why I posted that videos. You just walked into a group of goons at the rnc. Communist goons. And you just walked in there and you had one guy with you didn't have some army of Navy Seals around you, nothing. And I was there keeping an eye on. And Posobic was around there somewhere. And you just walked into the fire, as Breitbart said. And a lot of that is an energy which for reasons I don't understand, traditional conservatives kind of struggle with is vibe and aura. What do you mean vibe? Or what do you mean? It's get, get in their faces. So just yesterday, you know, Jamie Raskin incited looks like a hate mob on Pasobic because Posobic went to an event and said, well, why did you waste all this money on impeachment? These are things that we do now or that we did the early OG Maga, that whether we knew it or not, it was due to the zeitgeist being created on the right by the Horowitz, Breitbart and those other types. So I think the lesson that everybody should learn is that, hey, hey, we're not potted plants, we're not wallflowers. We don't run from the left. We don't cry. We don't throw little temper tantrums. We use the, the tactics, if you will, that they do, which is go to their events that, that, you know, there was a video of a woman recently going to an event in Texas and saying, you know, saying things about Islam, which personally for me is. Is a little bit of soft spot because I try to respect all religions. But. But there is a sense where they're left wing activists, activists doing left wing things. They'll come to our stuff. Why don't, why don't we go to their stuff? Why don't more people do what you did and go into the commies and speak the truth? Why don't more people do what Posobic did just yesterday to Jamie Raskin and say, oh, you Guys are, you know, you guys are frauds. Or Hakeem Jeffries is sitting on the Capitol steps for six hours, you know, doing impeachment hoaxes and standing up for Ms. 13. Why doesn't it just occur to the right wing to say, well, wait, they're there on the Capitol steps. Why don't I go them and ask why? Ask them why they love ms.13. Why? You know, why doesn't it occur to our people to do that? Because if you had two Republicans there on the Capitol steps, leftists would be there in a second, Right? And I'm not saying be violent like the left, but leftists would say, wait a minute, we got two Republican Congress members here on the Capitol steps. We're going to go there and we're going to ask them questions. Okay, I watched that and I was upset because I was already out of town. I was on a flight, I think, when it happened. And all I could think of is, why doesn't it occur to young conservatives. Go up there and ask them why they love Ms. 13. Go up there and ask them why they love Hamas. Right? I don't want to see people because I've gotten into it with some people and a lot of people are upset with me and I don't really care. I don't want to see people who are in their 20s, the prime of life. Oh, I'm afraid to walk on a campus. No, why don't you go up there and say, hey, Hakeem Jeffries, why do you love Hamas so much? And they'll go, oh, I don't know that they do, though. I mean, they do.
Charlie Kirk
That's what David Horowitz would teach us to do. That's right.
Mike Cernovich
Right. Go do it. How are you gonna let him be there for six hours and then you want to. You want to cry in a little corner? This is not the Horowitz way. It's not the OG MAGA way. It's not our way. And that's the message. I hope people be like, more like David Horowitz. Go up to these people. Again, not violent, but just say, hey, why do you guys love Hamas so much? Make them defend themselves. Because the left wing tactic that OG MAGA was great at, and this wisdom is getting lost, and I don't know why. It's endlessly driving me crazy. The Horowitz way, the brighter way. Make them answer the allegation.
Charlie Kirk
That's right.
Mike Cernovich
Right. Make them. Why do you love Hamas? Oh, I don't. Make them. Why is it always us playing?
Charlie Kirk
It requires you to be on the offensive and literally get out of your studio. Right. Do what I to go to these college campuses and to be around people that don't always agree with you and to set the tone and set the directive. And David embodied that better than anybody else. Mike, great work as always. Anything you want to plug 15 seconds?
Mike Cernovich
No, but I will tell more people, be like David Horowitz. You're going to get a lot further in life.
Charlie Kirk
Very good, Mike. Thanks so much. Email us freedomarlykirk.com yeah, we should make Horowitz a verb to Horowitz them. I love that idea. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us. As always, freedomarliekirk.com thanks so much for listening and God bless.

Podcast Summary: The Charlie Kirk Show – "Can Islam and America Coexist? + Remembering David Horowitz"
Release Date: April 30, 2025
Host: Charlie Kirk
In this compelling episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, host Charlie Kirk delves into the contentious topic of Islam's compatibility with American and Western values. The discussion is further enriched by reflecting on the legacy of the late David Horowitz, a pivotal figure in the conservative movement and founder of Turning Point USA. The episode weaves through current events, historical insights, and personal anecdotes to provide listeners with a comprehensive exploration of the subject.
Charlie Kirk opens the episode by addressing a provocative question: "Is Islam compatible with America and Western values?" He immediately highlights a significant development in Texas—a planned Muslim-only city named Epic City. Situated in the northeast suburbs of Dallas, this expansive 402-acre community aims to feature over 1,000 homes, a K-12 school, a college, retail stores, and a central mosque. Kirk expresses skepticism about the feasibility and intent behind such a project, questioning whether it aligns with the foundational principles of American religious freedom.
Kirk provides a critical analysis of Epic City, emphasizing concerns about its exclusive nature and potential implications for broader American society. He states:
"Large, dedicated Islamic areas are a threat to America. We've seen how this unfolds in Europe. There are massive, huge no-go zones in major European cities..." (04:54)
He draws parallels between Texas's plans and the "no-go zones" in European cities like London, Paris, and Stockholm, where Islamic values purportedly dominate, undermining free speech and cultural integration.
The discussion takes a turn towards official responses when Kirk plays a segment featuring Texas Governor Greg Abbott addressing the controversies surrounding Epic City. The governor outlines several violations, including misleading information to investors, breaches of fair housing laws, and the absence of necessary building permits. Abbott hints at initiating a criminal investigation to ascertain any legal infractions. Kirk praises Abbott's approach but criticizes his inability to fully address the underlying cultural and ideological concerns.
Governor Greg Abbott:
"They don't have any building permits to actually do any building... we may have been conducting a funeral home without legal authority." (08:28)
Kirk interprets Abbott's statements as a cautious yet insufficient response to the deeper issue of institutional Islam's integration into Texan society.
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to honoring David Horowitz, who passed away shortly before the episode's release. Horowitz, known for his staunch criticism of the left and his role in shaping conservative thought, is portrayed as a mentor and a foundational figure for Turning Point USA. Kirk reminisces about Horowitz's ability to challenge and expose liberal ideologies, citing his emphasis on confronting Islam's influence in the West.
David Horowitz:
"Will you condemn Hamas here and now?" (19:16)
The episode features archival clips of Horowitz engaging with Islamic representatives, showcasing his confrontational style aimed at eliciting definitive stances against extremist groups like Hamas.
Co-host Mike Cernovich joins Kirk to reflect on Horowitz's impact and the current state of the conservative movement. Cernovich highlights Horowitz's strategic approach to grassroots activism, emphasizing the importance of aggressive tactics in combating leftist ideologies.
Mike Cernovich:
"David gave people inspiration. He gave people enough... The big thing lacking right now in the conservative world is a lot of these young people." (24:03)
He criticizes the contemporary conservative leadership for being overly focused on economic issues at the expense of cultural and spiritual battles, attributing much of the movement's resilience to Horowitz's groundwork.
Returning to the central theme, Kirk and Cernovich argue that Islam, as practiced by its adherents in the West, inherently conflicts with American values such as freedom of speech and expression. Kirk raises concerns about Sharia law's potential implementation and its repercussions on societal norms:
Charlie Kirk:
"Under Islam, it is a requirement that believers try to get their societies to run on Sharia law." (07:45)
The hosts express fears that exclusive Islamic communities could lead to the erosion of Western civilization, drawing on examples from Europe to illustrate potential outcomes.
Emphasizing proactive measures, Kirk advocates for conservatives to adopt an assertive stance similar to Horowitz's. He encourages engaging directly with leftist individuals and institutions to challenge their beliefs and expose perceived hypocrisies. Cernovich echoes this sentiment, urging young conservatives to embody the "fighting spirit" that Horowitz championed.
Mike Cernovich:
"We don't cry. We use the tactics... Go to their events and speak the truth." (36:42)
The hosts stress the necessity of being on the offensive to prevent the gradual undermining of American values by insidious cultural shifts.
In wrapping up, Kirk reiterates the existential threat he perceives from the unchecked growth of institutional Islam in America. He calls for immediate actions to halt projects like Epic City and urges political leaders to reconsider immigration policies that allow for significant cultural divergences.
Charlie Kirk:
"We will cease to exist as a country and as a civilization if this continues." (14:51)
The episode concludes with a poignant tribute to David Horowitz's enduring legacy, highlighting his role in sustaining the conservative movement during turbulent times.
