My name is Charlie Kirk. I run the largest pro American student organization in the country, fighting for the future of our republic. My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth. If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're gonna end up miserable. But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful. College is a scam, everybody. You gotta stop sending your kids to college. You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible. Go start a Turning Point USA College chapter. Go start a Turning Point USA High School chapter. Go find out how your church can get involved. Sign up and become an activist. I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade. Most important decision I ever made in my life. And I encourage you to do the same. Here I am, Lord.
B
Use me.
A
Buckle up, everybody. Here we go. The Charlie Kirk show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold. But the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
B
Hello. Welcome to Friday edition of the Charlie Kirk Show. We've got a big crew here. We have Michael McCoy, Mikey McCoy. We'll figure out his name eventually. One of those names right across from me and right next to me, also.
C
Two names to choose from.
B
We have Joe Bob. He's got a few titles. We were debating what to refer to him as Director of Joe Bob, President of Joe Bob, hi, Joab.
C
So I do actually have Joe Bob in written form, trademarked.
B
Really?
C
U.S. patent Trademark Office recognizes me as the official owner of the Jobab trademark. So I will have to charge you royalty fees for using the name. I know you're introducing me, but that is gonna come on your next expense report.
B
Ah, dang it. All right, we have a lot of fun things to talk about. First of all, we saw that Amfest promo again. We are one week out.
D
One week out.
B
Now, if you want to buy a ticket, you can't. It is totally sold out.
D
But tune in live.
B
Tune in live.
D
You'll be the president.
B
You'll have a lot of other speakers. You can tune in live. You can get in line for tickets next year. They go on sale pretty early. You can get yourself hyped up, and there will be tons of clips, tons of episodes. It'll all be extremely exciting. I've been getting emails that are asking, how do. What should I do at amfest? And my advice is just meet people. This is about grassroots energy. Make friends, because that's how you have engagement in the next election. People, you know, you go out, you organize, and do Things together.
D
Yeah.
B
A few other housekeeping items Stop in the Name of God remains on sale. It is sold out in various venues, but it'll be replaced soon enough. That's the great thing about capitalism. When you run out of something, they make more of it. And it's a lovely book, getting great reviews from people reading it all across the country. I like it.
C
One real quick thing on that. I thought it was so interesting when that. When it was kind of made aware, stopping the name of God, kind of the idea of honoring the Sabbath. I went back and looked at a couple text messages with me and Mikey where I sent him videos. And it's like, hey, can I, can I send this along to Charlie? And he said, yeah, but he's on Sabbath. And this is two years ago that he's been doing this. That he was doing it, it was very like prominent in his life. Not necessarily known to the entire world, but like even then, kind of in private chats, it's like, yeah, you can not going to see it for another day.
D
But yeah, he called it his secret weapon. It was like he. And he would always say too, you know, the punishment for missing the Sabbath.
B
Is you missed the Sabbath.
D
You missed the Sabbath because it was actually a gift that was just waiting for you to receive it. And by not doing it, by not honoring it, you were missing out on the gift. It was a punishment in and of itself, but it was the secret weapon to Charlie. In six days he worked his butt off. And then the seventh day he rested and you could, you could see. And he would talk about this all the time, how he would be even more exhausted if he didn't get a full Sabbath. But he looked forward to that day every single, every week.
B
All right, well, so another Charlie thing besides that book, he always said he wanted to put a Turning Point USA chapter, and later a Club America chapter in 30,000 high schools across the U.S. which shows two things aggressive. One, Charlie was incredibly ambitious. And two, we really needed to increase America's birth rate because there are only 27,000 high schools in America. So we gotta open 3,000 more.
C
Well, that's why he kept push that.
D
That's why I said have more kids.
B
And he wanted to build new towns because new towns would need new high schools. That was clearly his agenda item. So he wanted a lot more Club America chapters. So we have a very exciting announcement related to that. So we have turning point USA's enterprise director, I believe is his title. We have Nick Koca. Are you there, Nick?
E
Yes, gentlemen, I am Here. Thank you for having me.
B
Yes. All right, well, just cut right to it. What's the big announcement?
E
Well, I'm here in Nashville, Tennessee, in the state's capital. We just had a big announcement with Governor Bill Lee and Senator Marsha Blackburn partnership to put a Club America chapter in every single high school in the state of Tennessee.
F
Wow.
D
How many states does that bring us to, Nick, where states have made that announcement?
E
Well, Mikey, it all started with. With the amazing former superintendent Ryan Walters in Oklahoma putting out a declaration of support for Club America chapters. From there, we went into Florida with Governor DeSantis and then we just wrapped up on Monday our announcement with Governor Greg Abbott in the state of Texas. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, as you know, committed a million dollars to TPUSA and Club America. And so we just finished our partnership there. And today Tennessee makes number three or number four.
B
That's amazing. I'm already just checking. Now You've got over 3,000 high schools in Texas. You have about 2,500 high schools in Florida. I'm looking here, 1800 public high schools in Tennessee. I think these are all public. So you'd have about 10 boost that by about 10 to 15% to get privates. Oklahoma is probably another few hundred to a thousand. And we're actually getting well on our way there to 30,000. We just need the birth rate part.
D
Yeah, we need the birth rate. Are we on pace still? I think we are doing 50 new chapters a day across the US both between college and high school. The amount of inquiries are through the roof. The amount of students joining. Nick, do you know the number of how many students have attended a Club America meeting or TPUSA college chapter meeting since 9, 10? How many people have come?
E
Yes. Since Charlie's assassination, we have seen chapter numbers from for high schools spike to about 50, 60 per meeting. I was at the first meeting of a high school chapter in Alabama. We were standing room only in a classroom. More than 50 students came in to hear about their new Club America chapter.
B
Wow, that's amazing. That's amazing. And we want these to be vehicles for a lot of different things. It can be for discussing philosophical issues, for getting engaged at the grassroots level, for just normal community involvement, running a Bible study. It's really. It runs the gamut. What you can do with this if you're an engaged student. And if you have any good stories, email us. Freedomarliekirk. We love hearing stories about the success of our chapters, things they've been able to do. We love sharing those.
C
Nick, one of the things. Well, one of the videos that came up in my feed the other day was Charlie talking about how little his high school did on the founding and the founders and the brilliance of the founding of the country. How much do you think these Club America chapters will kind of infiltrate into the actual curriculum itself? Because these are clubs on campus. But I do think there's going to be some more intrinsic value into the actual education. I think teachers would probably be more likely to be able to talk about the founding a little bit more even beyond what the curriculum might already be.
E
That's right, Joe. Bob. We are a future leaders club. Club America serves to empower those patriotic leaders of tomorrow. So they're learning about the constitution, they're lear how to have a respectful debate and dialogue on the issues of today. They're networking with community leaders that could be anyone from their local mayor to the governor of their state. So they're making connections with these folks. They're going to make their career. And they're bringing in speakers like Riley Gaines, who is at our event today for this announcement to learn how to stand up for girls for girls sports and a wide range of issues. So I think through the leadership of our students, they're gonna change the culture on their high school campus.
B
There are already turning point alums who have become members of Congress. I don't think America is not old enough. They cannot legally run for Congress yet.
D
But we have crazy stories of business leaders coming to us and just begging us to get access to the student pool that we have across the US both in high school and college. But there's stories of students in high school graduating and immediately getting a high paying job.
B
That's an amazing thing. Yeah, Nick, you said it.
D
We're a future leaders club.
B
Future. You can learn running a organization in your high school for real. Not the fake ones that people found so they can look good on a college application. Way too much of that. But if it's a real organization that's trying to do real things in your community, you learn skills, you look at. That's what Charlie was so amazing at. Charlie didn't need a college degree. He had. He learned on the job of how to organize, how to be a leader. And he became this stupendous figure. Every single person running a Club America chapter can be future Charlie Kirk. And that's what we want. We want everyone to be Charlie Kirk in the future. 30 seconds, Nick. Are we looking at, are there other states that have expressed interest we might be able to be hearing from soon?
E
Hopefully There certainly are. I do want to say I hope that we can see more come from states like Montana and Idaho and Iowa and maybe even my home state of Ohio. But we're going to be working with anyone and everyone we can at the state level to simply say, hey, we, we have the students back and we support their right to free speech and to form a club.
B
That's amazing. Thank you so much.
D
Nick.
B
We gotta get to those 30,000. It's a lot.
E
We're gonna get to work.
A

B
We got a very breaking news email in that must be read to the entire country. Mikey, reveal it.
D
It says Joe Bob in the daylight. I thought he was only a nighttime vampire.
C
I think they might be referring to the show Turning Point tonight which airs at 10pm Eastern on Real America's Voice, which I usually do so that I do come out during the day. It's not often. It's rare.
B
So you're a vampire. But it's like the Twilight vampires who just kind of sparkle in the daylight.
A
Yeah.
C
More tan, but yeah, definitely also a vampire.
D
He does go to bed around 3am and wake up around noon every day.
C
That is. Yeah.
E
Wait, really?
C
No, but I should probably. That's what a lot of comedians do.
B
I did that when I worked at Fox. Basically I didn't, I didn't like to do things before I went to work. And it was an evening show, so I would just roll in work at 1pm So I would get up really late and then step.
C
Now the question is, did you use that as an excuse just to sleep in later? Like, were you. Was that your primary goal? And then you just got a job that allowed you to be a lazy.
B
No.
C
On the topic of Club America, I thought I had a really good idea. Turns out it's not that great of an idea. Obviously, we want to have more kids, therefore bolster more high schools, which would allow us to get to that 30,000 number. But also, what if we acquired high schools? So I thought, how many high schools does Greenland have?
A
Two.
D
So, yeah, that's.
C
That's the problem. I thought it was a good idea. Greenland has four high schools, upper secondary schools in the entire country, so that's.
F
Not going to work.
C
That would be. Does help.
B
It does about 1.1,000th of the additional high schools.
C
Okay, so are you against making progress on this goal, Blake? Is that what I'm hearing?
B
That's right. You are kind of.
D
You know, we do have a lot of Greenlanders coming to Amfest. We have a whole group of them.
F
Really?
B
That's like 1% of the population. If we get five or something, there's.
D
Like 15 of them coming. Speaking of, we'll give away 2am Fest tickets on the show today. If you email us, freedom charliekirk.com and you have interest in coming. I know we're sold out, but let's give out two on the show today. What do we think, Blake? Is that a good idea?
B
I think that's great. Let's do it. Okay. You're gonna have to run this. This lottery because I don't know how those work.
D
We're gonna do it.
C
I have several friends who have now not necessarily come out of the woodwork, but in the last couple weeks, be like, hey, how do I get tickets to Amfest?
D
Tell them to email freedomarliekirk.com that is.
C
Literally the only way you can do it, because I kind of text back or say back, laughing, like, you can't. It has been sold out. And sold out is probably even an understatement because I think capacity limits are probably a concern.
D
You know, Elon Musk, is this true that he quote tweeted you?
C
He did. Wow, that was really interesting.
B
What did he quote you about?
C
Well, I was talking about some of the percentages.
D
Do we have that clip of the percentages?
E
This is such a.
C
Might be able to pull it for later on in the show. But I effectively was outlining some of the lower percentages of Somali immigrants in other countries. In other.
B
We actually have that. We have this. Let's do 337.
C
When people criticize Somali foreigners in Western countries, here are a few things to keep in mind. In Norway, 27% of Somali born households do not rely mainly on government assistance. In Sweden, 36% of Somali born adults are either employed or in education. In Denmark, 31% of Somali immigrants and their descendants are not on public benefits. These are just a couple things to remember during the discussion of whether or not we should let more third worlders into the United States. I hope this helps.
B
So Elon Musk, the world's richest man, he replied to that. He kind of, he weighed it in his head and he replied, Put up 336. He replied, wow.
C
Well, I'm just so grateful that he understood the sarcasm of it.
B
Yes.
C
Because I think I got. I got. The overwhelming majority of people understood, oh, these are very low numbers. And maybe it's not advantageous to let a bunch of third worlders into western countries.
D
It was the music for me.
B
We've already got a few entries in the Amfest 2 ticket lottery, so keep.
D
Emailing, keep freedomarliekirk.com oh, the odds are pretty good.
B
The odds are great. They're paying attention and you're able to get here. Oh, wow, this is very good odds.
C
That's fantastic. I mean, to go back to that fun little Internet video, there was a little bit of concern of the sarcasm not reaching everybody entirely. There were a bunch of. There were not a bunch, maybe like five or six comments that go, wait a minute. These numbers are terrible. What are you talking. Why is this lib trying to push his ideology on me? And I kind of said that this.
B
Is why we need Club America. Because among other things you can learn through Club America is how to make good arguments, to be America first, to be pro America, and to do it.
C
With sarcasm, satire, and do it with wit and humor.
B
And, you know, maybe if you have a big enough chapter, you could have Joe Bob come to your chapter one day.
C
Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
B
All right, fine, fine, fine, fine. This is Lane Schoenberger, chief investment officer and founding partner of Y Refi. It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and.
A
For Charlie to endorse us.
B
His endorsement means the world to us and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come. Now hear Charlie in his own words tell you about why refi.

B
All right, so we're all upbeat. We're getting a ton of emails. Very excited about these Amfest, about these Amfest tickets. We'll choose one before probably at the end of the hour.
D
Maybe end of the hour.
B
We'll see. But one of those people who asked Jessica says she would love two tickets to Amfest. But she also said something that is very important. She wanted us to shout out that she's planning an event with TP action in Indiana because she says two of the trader state senators in her county didn't vote for a very important bill yesterday. We've talked about this a lot on the show.
C
Yep.
B
Indiana, we've got President Trump has been whipping Republicans across the country. Redo your maps. Get more Republicans elected to Congress. This is important for executing the agenda I got elected on. Indiana voted for Trump by about 20 points.
E
Yep.
B
They voted for him in all three elections. The base seems to like this. But the Indiana senators do not.
D
No.
B
And so they didn't. They voted on it yesterday. There is a, there are 40 Republican aligned senators in the state. They needed 25 and they got 19. 21 of them failed us. So we're gonna talk about this with Tyler Bowyer who is joining us long distance. Are you there, Tyler?
F
What's up guys? How we doing?
B
Well, we're not doing great right now. These Indiana guys failed us, didn't they?
F
Oh man. Yesterday was a dark day for Indiana. Probably one of the worst days and the most embarrassing days Indiana's had since it voted for Obama in the first election. And you can see why you have some slippage in the state because you're surrounded by really terrible Republicans who make really terrible decisions. The bill that was being produced was a pretty straightforward bill. It was to offset the manipulation schemes that are being run by Democrats nationwide and states that are far less deep blue. They are hijacking congressional seats. And in Indiana. Indiana is one of the unique states that kind of made a mistake last redistricting, and they gave two seats to Democrats that many argued were not really justified. Indiana is one of the deepest, reddest states in the country. And there are many arguments to be made for a nine zero, Republican map. And so naturally, the President's team said, hey, you know, now's the time to go back and redistrict and look at this thing and get us a 90 map instead of a 72 Republican, 7 Democrat 2 map that currently exists because we need you to step up. And so they produced the bill. The grassroots, the entire Republican Party across the country and across Indiana supports this. All of the polling shows 70, 80% of Republicans support this. It's a no brainer. And yesterday was the time to shine for the Senate Democrat or Senate Republicans. And they showed up and they needed 25 votes, as you mentioned, Blake, or 26 votes to pass it. And only 19 voted for it, 21 voted against it.
B
All right, I want to get Joe, Bob and Mikey in here, but very quick, because Charlie would do this. We need some just direct accountability. Let's throw up 326. And if you're a Hoosier, pay attention to this because these might be your senators. These are the Republicans who did not vote for this new district. We're just going to go through them. We have Senators Eric Basler, we have Vanetta Becker, we have Mike Bohachek, we have Roderick Bray, Brian Buchanan, Jim Buck, Ed Charbonneau, Brett Clark, Mike Kreider, Spencer Deary, Dan Dernolk, Blake Doriot. Ooh, letting me down on the Blakes. Sue Glick, Greg Good, Travis Holdman, Gene Lysing, Ryan Mishler, Rick Niemeyer, Linda Rogers, Kyle Walker and Greg Walker. I apologize if I missed any of those names, but if you'd voted with us, we wouldn't be reading them.
F
You did pretty good, Blake. And there's a couple of people to really point out here that are in deep, deep red. Like we're talking 20 to 30 point Trump districts. A couple of them, Senator Durnel, or spelled Dernalk with a C at the end. Dan Durnall, was one of those individuals. Greg Good, who is a person that has. Has who works currently for US Senator. Senator Ryan Mishler was actually in Florida. He spent so much time outside of the state that he actually had to. He missed a couple of the votes. Misses a lot actually in the end because he spends most of his time in the state of Florida instead of being there voting. Linda Rogers actually is in our TPA Faith Pastors district that he lives in in Indiana. So I mean, you've got a couple of people here that this isn't one of those things too, because there's a handful of people here that are in, you could argue, swing districts or fairly Republican districts. But vast majority of these individuals are in districts that are deeply, deeply conservative and it won't be difficult to challenge and get them out of office. So we've actually posted jobs already yesterday, the moment that they voted. Turning Point Action posted five jobs yesterday on our website tpaction.com careers. We're hiring up people to actually help recruit and hold these guys accountable because their election is on May 5. The primary election for most of these individuals is on May 5th. Where we're gonna be hopefully getting many of these people out of office.
C
Tyler, I think, you know, if we're gonna zoom out 30,000ft here and look at kind of the primary causes as to why some of these squishy Republicans don't want to side with their constituents. But also the president is. Some of these people have been in office for 30 years in the Indiana state legislature. They don't have term limits. There's. And so they're concerned of, well, what if I lose my seat that I've kept for 30 years. In your opinion, would having kind of term limits in this instance maybe get some of those more squishy people to go, hey, you know, I'm out anyway, I might as well do what the. Do what the people want.
F
Yeah, I mean, there's different reasons why people are motivated. Sometimes it's you've got like really creepy insider type stuff where there's some kind of lobbyist or some kind of local corporation that's keeping somebody in, that's funded their life like all throughout. So they're not really beholden to the people or the president or anyone else to beholden to these very specific special interests that are super and hyper local. And that's why you see most of these guys in most of these states kind of go against what you would because you look at this situation, right? Joe, Bobby, you go, how is the US President the President of the United States, the Vice President United States more in tune with what the grassroots and what the people of Indiana want than their own state senator that lives around the corner from them. And it's, it's truly mind numbing. But when you start to look introspectively like, like we're talking about here, and you start to discover, oh, well, there's one or two key lobbyists that have been funding their way of life. You know, their steak dinners, their, you know, their special events that they get to do. You know, the things that keep them warm and cuddly. Sometimes it's land developers, sometimes it's again, different interests. You know, there's hospital lobbies, there's education lobbies, there's all sorts of. Each of these people typically have one or two of those that make them tick, and that's who they, they respond to. One guy got up yesterday and actually talked about this. You know, this is how mind, mind blowing it is. He talked about the pharmaceutical lobby and that's the reason why he was voting no. Well, you know, that very company that he had brought up had been benefited most greatly by the President of the United States and the work that he had done on, on behalf and with bringing back a ton of business and a ton of interest for the United States, particularly in the pharmaceuticals area. And that's just how mind blowingly dumb some of these state senators are. And they don't care. They have no interest at all in getting it right. They just want to try to run over their own people and benefit their, their own pockets and their own boats.
B
Mike, you travel a lot with Charlie, so you were with him, I think, when he'd meet a lot of the, you know, like. Well, for example, when he went to Nebraska and he had to lobby these people. Do you have any insight on what's going on with these people? Is it just that they're, they're very local in how they view everything?
D
I just think they're very weak people in general. I'm gonna mark these the terrible 21. Very shameful.
B
Shame on them, I guess.
C
Terrible 21, that's good.
D
Shame. No, but in all seriousness, traveling with Charlie, you see all these people, even Nebraska, when we were trying to get that electoral vote there in Omaha. They're just weak and they think they know more about the world because the world is in need of their very small.
B
Because their world is their state house. Yep. Their little rivalries, their little grievances, or they're mad. Trump didn't. You know, he bashed them on this specific thing. That's Trump. Get used to it.
C
Yeah. And then.
D
But they're very stubborn. And because they, that is their world, they can, they refuse to think outside of the box or to think bigger than their small jurisdiction that they're in or be a team player or coalition builder. But Tyler, you see this all the time. Like, you see this at Turning Point Action. There's so many state senators, there's so many congressmen, there's so many people like this that just refuse to think outside of the, the jurisdiction of their own mind and local community or what they care about most. It's hard to see. Yeah.
F
Keep in mind too, a lot of these people are influenced, unfortunately, by the, the mind control schemes of the former Pence relationship. So, you know. Yeah, so remember, we knew this was going to play a factor. I mean, Mike Pence is licking his wounds after getting kicked to the curb by MAGA and by the President, by everybody, because of the way that he acted after the 2020 election. And many of these people kind of had this, this mental thing where they thought that Mike Pence was going to be president someday. And now they're kind of, you know, kind of butthurt over this whole thing of, oh, I'm not going to ever help the president ever again because, you know, because Mike Pence isn't going to be president someday.
B
To make a bad joke, they're being Pence wise and pound foolish. I had to.
G
President Trump walked into a catch 22 when taking office. Do nothing and America would be staring at a ticking debt bomb, the kind of crisis that could cripple our future. Instead, he's taken action with strong policies to slow the train and buy us some time. But the effects of past administration spending are still working through the system and experts predict dramatic price increases and market uncertainty. Trump is doing all he can, but no matter who's in office, protecting your retirement savings is ultimately up to you. And that's why many Americans are turning to real assets like gold and silver. Preserve gold is our go to choice here at the Charlie Kirk Show. We use them because they make it easy to own physical gold and silver even inside your retirement accounts like an IRA or 401k. Now hear from Charlie in his own words.

B
We're talking all about Indiana and the great disappointment.
C
I was wondering where you're gonna go with that. You said the great disappointment. That makes sense. Yeah.
B
I disappointed you with my rhetoric, just like they disappointed us with their votes. We have a good email. We have an email from Jason in Indiana. He says, I am in a big union here, the local 150. He says the leadership of my union was against, but I was not. I contacted, I believe he means Governor Braun in favor. He says they are RINOs who want the country club. They want the power, they want the money. They don't like the MAGA movement, but this is too important. The country is at stake. Sad day. Amen. Jason, what I've really tried to say here is I think some people just didn't like that President Trump picked this fight that he asked they wanted. You know, we have this tradition you redistrict at every decade and you don't mess with it in the middle and you don't maximize it. You tend to leave a few seats for each party. And Trump, his nature is he's going to go for the maximum advantage. And some people didn't like that. And, okay, you didn't like that. Too bad that fight happened. California's already redone their map. Maryland redid their map. You have to play ball now or you're deserting the cause.
C
Well, and yeah, if you want the policy that you want passed, you have to win seats. And if other states are taking away those seats, what other option is there to make sure that you get those seats back?
B
Exactly. And we have a raise within House majority. If you don't have the House after the midterms, you still have a lot of things your administration could do, but you're weaker. You can't pass an immigration reform. You can't pass ICE expansion. You can't control what's getting investigated by the House. You could get impeachment one, impeachment two, impeachment 10. Yeah, that's what's at stake here for a candidate they voted for overwhelmingly. We need to hold accountable these Republicans. And I know it stinks. It's sort of annoying that we are spending money fighting against other Republicans, but there's just this element where you said, play ball or we're going to primary you. You do have to primary them now or your threats don't hold water.
F
Yeah. And this is the problem, right, that exists, is that these guys are so selfish that what was said to them was very clear, which is like, hey, we're going to be successful at primary in you. If you do not help us in this battle against Gavin Newsom, if, I mean, Gavin Newsom is on the pathway right now to being the nominee for 2028, and if Indiana state senators won't step up to challenge the guy who we're going to all be running against in 2028, I mean, they just have no place within this party. And that's not speaking from Trump, that's not speaking from J.D. vance, that's not speaking from Turning Point, that's speaking from the grassroots that vast majority of people agree with that sentiment that are within the Republican Party. So our job now has to be to expend resources to follow through with what the majority, the vast majority of people want is to get rid of these people. Now, what that means is that resources that otherwise would have been spent to help defend or take ground in Congress in other states now has to be expended in deep red Indiana to hold our own people accountable. So we're having to fight not only the Democrats in other states and swing states, which we're doing in Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire and other places, we now have to fight our own deep state establishment in Indiana. So you're having to fight a two front battle at this point. And unfortunately that is the way that it is. But if they just work together with people, if they would have just voted yes yesterday, all those resources could have gone into helping the rest of the country, helping lay the foundation to win in 2028.
B
Ryan asks if they could revote on this in Indiana. I believe in technically they could. Anytime the governor could call the legislature back together and they could do it. I doubt they will unless they feel strongly that they have the votes to flip it. So the main way you revote on this is you get better senators and they've greatly disappointed us this time. But you could potentially get a better roster for 28, for 2020, 30 and beyond.
F
Yeah. Primary elections are May 5th in Indiana. And so there's only a handful of months left at this point with individuals who will be stepping into the pocket to run against these individuals and then for the general public to become educated enough to vote them out. Obviously you're never 100%. It was probably going to be a combination effort between now and 2026 and then 2028 as well. But yeah, I mean, the likelihood with this current legislature in Indiana of getting anything done that's gonna help the President is basically, they're telling you it's a zero. They're not interested in helping the president.
B
Kathy, a lifetime Indiana Republican, says, I am furious our senators didn't get this through. She says the problem is no one will run against them. I jokingly said I should run as a retired teacher. Greatly disappointed one if you feel tempted to run, Kathy, don't let that just die. You're a retired teacher. Maybe you do have. You might have potential as a candidate. But Tyler, she says no one's going to run against them. I doubt that. We already.
F
That's not true. Yeah, there's. We already have pretty much a full slate of people who are good people who want to run against these individuals, many of whom serve on the House side currently. So remember, there's a House and there's a Senate. There's some good candidates that already exist on the House side who are willing to step up and run against these senators. And again, we've been in these situations before here in Arizona. We ran after Arizona state senators voted for Obamacare and Medicaid expansion way back in the day. We went to work against millions of dollars to remove those people from office and all of them were removed from office almost immediately. So I do have a belief that a core amount of people in Indiana will do the right thing and get together and vote on their normal primary day to get rid of these people. It just, again, it just sucks that you have to spend time and money and resources as outside organizations, as the president's team, instead of focusing on the places that we need to win in order to keep Congress.
C
Tyler, I would probably say, and pardon me for being the ever optimist, obviously this is not good. But if I were to find a silver lining here, the more that TP action is successful at primarying a bunch of these squishy Republicans, I feel like the more the message is received elsewhere, this is not going to be the only time stuff like this happens around the country. But seeing how successful turning point action has been, that's going to reverberate for election cycles to come. And I would hope that sooner or later the squishy Republicans get the message. Oh, this is actually going to be a big bigger problem for me if we we don't do what the people want.
