So tell us, how did you get into the satire publishing business? What I love most about the Babylon Bee is that it goes after Democrats and it goes after kind of leftist third rail political issues. How'd you get into this?
B (2:07)
Well, I actually acquired it. I didn't found it. Adam Ford is the founder and he started it back in 2016 and I just saw it as like the best thing on the Internet. I mean, it was just blowing up really quickly. It's getting a lot of attention and it was really quality conservative comedy that wasn't cheesy, which was a breath of fresh air. And so, you know, I approached Adam just looking to invest in it initially, but he was looking to get out largely because of tech censorship, which I'm sure we're going to talk a little bit about in this discussion. But he was. He was trying to find an exit. And so we were able to work out a deal. I saw it as just a great opportunity with this property that was just growing and blowing up and having a big impact. And satire has always been something that I thought was just the most effective tool for speaking truth to culture anyway, so tremendous opportunity I couldn't pass up. So we worked out a deal back in 2018, and I've been running it ever since.
