You gave a phenomenal speech from the Senate floor yesterday where you talked about what the Democrats are bringing us back into. You said partisan rancor, almost wanted to redo the election. And I was actually really stunned to see that the resolution or the measure you put forward got 45 Republican votes behind it. Can you talk about what you presented to the Senate and how it got so much support and how was it even able to be called for a vote? I was pretty stunned by that.

But there is a constitutional privilege. If you bring up a point of order and challenge the constitutionality of an issue, it actually gets privilege. They also knew, though, that if they tried to deny me the vote when they put up the rules for the impeachment, I could amend the rules. So they were going to have to deal with me one way or another. But I was glad we got it up as a separate issue. And knowing the rules helps. Forcing the issue, knowing that you'll persist and you will pester them until you get your voice heard. Helps. And so we're a little bit of all those things. And they did relent. We were able to get the vote, but the other reason was to smoke out people. You get all these people trying to pretend like this is a valid hearing and they're going to wait and hear the facts on both sides. They are not. They all know how they're going to vote. Why don't we decide this from the very get go? We didn't think we'd get to 50, but I thought we could get into the 40s. But really anything above 34 proves that the impeachment is over. The impeachment is now dead on arrival. And this was to prove that, but also to let people see if you don't say anything, no one would realize the great anomaly that the person sitting in the chair is not the Chief Justice. Why isn't he there? Constitution says the Chief justice shall preside when you impeach the President. That's because they're not impeaching the current president. Well, if they're not impeaching the current president, where does it say they can impeach a private citizen? So they're either impeaching a president or they're not. The Chief justice says it's not the president any longer, but then it's a private citizen. And that how can that be constitutional? Well, that means they can impeach Charlie Kirk. I mean, really, who couldn't they impeach then? What are the limits? President Trump is no longer an office holder. How are they impeaching him? And so it really is ridiculous. It shows their bitterness. But really this was a real chance for President Biden. He could have risen to the occasion and been a statesman and said, you know what, it would just bring up the bitterness of the election. And let's move on to my agenda and his point. His numbers would have gone up 10 points, but instead he's beholden to the left wing crazies in his party that want nothing but, you know, anger and vitriol and they want their pound of flesh. So. But anyway, I think we foiled their plans because everybody can go and yawn. This is over. This is a debt on arrival.
