Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. I want to thank Charlie. He's an incredible guy. His spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point usa.
Charlie Kirk
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and. And we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here. Go to noblegoldinvestments.com I was on campus at the University of Florida. We had an amazing turnout, a record turnout, actually. I have been at the University of Florida multiple times, in fact, Ryan could probably go back into the archives. I, back in 2019, visited the university of Florida and we were getting screamed at and we had protesters. It was not an easy campus visit. I mean, it was typical at the time. A lot of opposition, a lot of activist spark on the left. Andrew went to the University of Florida with me. I actually went with Donald Trump Jr. Two or three weeks previous to that. And there were protests everywhere. When we returned to the University of Florida and we were met with over 2000 friendly supporters, 2000 students that were in support of us. In fact, it was so overwhelming at the end, there almost was a creation of a tunnel where I had to walk through to be able to exit. People asking for selfies and for signatures. It was very similar to, like a college football team entering a stadium. There were a couple liberals, one interaction in particular that will probably go viral of a young man who was not dumb. He was very passionate, well read. And I asked Him. I said, are you guys willing to move on from this idea that men can compete in women's sports? I said, it's not popular. Can we just end the chapter on this? And he said, absolutely not. He said that trans men should be able to compete, trans women should be able to compete in women's sports. He was so married to it. And for any of you that think the Democrats are going to adjust from the grassroots, it's not gonna happen. Now, there might be a candidate that comes in and declares war on the base of the Democrat Party, but the base of the Democrat Party is more on board for this nonsense than ever before. The base of the Democrat Party thinks that there's nothing wrong with men stealing medals and awards from women. They have made a deal with the trans zealots of the base of their party and they are married to it. But more broadly, the biggest takeaway is how the Democrat base has never had to deal with losing a culture war battle. They can't psychologically accept it. They've never had to do this in their existence. They are outnumbered now on campus. No, not necessarily outnumbered. I think if you took a poll on campus, these campuses are still probably five to 10 points to the left. But there's a passivity to the Democrat activism on campus. There is none. And there is energy and there is vitality behind any one of us that are Trump supporting conservatives. Everything they can remember as far as being Democrats and leftists has always been a one way ratchet. There were professors. It's very interesting. I'm getting more and more teachers and professors that are coming up and asking me questions, which of course I'm, well, this is not just a student. Prove me wrong, anybody. There was a PhD professor of history. And oh, one of those moments. I wish that Blake would have been there. Oh, I wish Blake would have been there. This guy was a PhD of the interwar period between World War I and World War II. And look, I know a little bit about that. I know in the general population a fair amount, but a little bit compared to this guy was he was like, well, Charlie, don't you see the similarities between the rise of Hitler and the rise of Donald Trump? I teach this professionally. I'm a PhD and I think that everyone needs to know that the rise of Hitler and Donald Trump are very similar. And it's just, it's such a sloppy, shallow analysis. It's total garbage. It's complete garbage. And this was his contention in front of the entire audience, him being the PhD. And Blake just made A great point in the chat, which is exactly right. I told him, I said, can you please get another reference point other than Nazi Germany? So Blake and I are on the same page. I said, can you read about any other country at any other time? There's a lot of other things that happen in history other than the evils of the 1930s and the 1940s. And he's just so focused on this, saying, nope, most important thing ever. Donald Trump's rise is very similar to the rise of the rise of Hitler. What is so important, everybody, is that we are living through a potential generational realignment that could become permanent. James Carville wrote a piece, if you guys can pull up this piece, I think it's very important. James Carville wrote a piece giving his recommendations for the Democrat Party. James Carville said, listen, we as Democrats don't have a leader. We don't have the energy on the ground. He suggested and recommended that Democrats roll over and play dead. That was James Carville's recommendation. Roll over and play dead. That is a very dangerous and unusual political strategy. He said, quote, we need a strategic political retreat. A strategic political retreat. And I can tell you, in modern digital political warfare, I don't think that's going to work for them. Again, I could be wrong, because every day we are winning over new converts, every day we are winning over new young fans, and there is no sizable, well funded opposition. And it really makes you wonder that once you start, once you stop the funding at usaid, all of a sudden these campuses simmer down a little bit. Now, I know I might be going a little too far in that direction, but it really makes you think, how much of a racket of a money flow was USAID towards the pressure campaign of the left? James Carville is basically saying this, stop, stop at all, Wait and hope Trump screws up. But so far, Trump strategy been popular. And I think we're in a brave new era. I think we're in a completely new chapter, the digital online chapter, where news is moving with such high velocity. We are reaching new demographics and new audiences. James Carville says, quote, the best thing Democrats can do at this moment, roll over and play dead. Allow the Republicans to crumble beneath their own weight and make the American people miss us. Only until the Trump administration has spiraled into the low 40s or 30s in public approval should we make like a pack of hyenas and go for the juggle. Until then, I'm calling for a strategic political retreat. It's very, very risky. Mr. Carville. Because what if we're actually increasing our ranks? And by the way, it's not just funding usaid, it's cuts to nih, NSF and the ban on DEI at colleges. Do you guys know when you get an NIH grant? Let me take the University of Pennsylvania for example. The University of Pennsylvania will do a lot of NIH research and they'll apply for these grants. Do you know that they are able to mark up on top of the grant 10, 25, 40% for overhead. Donald Trump signed an executive order capping what is called a supplementation. It's a supplementation adage to any NIH grant to only be 10%. If that ends up being held up in court, which of course it should be, the University of Pennsylvania will lose $270 million a year. Let me say that again. The University of Pennsylvania will lose $270 million a year if they only get 10% for supplementation. That's just one school. That is a singular school, everybody. $270 million a year. These universities are now sending out panicked emails. We got an internal email from an Ivy League school notifying everyone that an all conference at their conference are brown bag lunches now. No more free taxpayer lunches. Literally. James Carville says for the Democrats, stay put, don't do anything rollover, play dead. While we at Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action are embarking on the most aggressive evangelism campaign, for a lack of a better term conversion campaign, persuasion campaign. And it's working. And obviously I want the Democrats to fail, not succeed, but they're going all in that we are going to fumble. But we have our foot on the gas, we are ascendant and we are multiplying our numbers on a daily basis. Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here. You just saw it. The privileged get tax pardons while hardworking Americans do not just stepped up enforcement. If you owe back taxes or have unfilled returns, do not wait for the IRS letter to act. Waiting to get caught makes you look like a tax evader and it will not end well. Getting ahead of this is the smart move. But never, never contact the IRS alone. Turn it over to Tax Network usa. Why? Because not all tax resolution companies are the same. First, Tax Network USA has a strong relationship with the irs. Second, they have a preferred direct line to the irs. And why is that important to you? Because they know which agents to deal with and which ones to avoid. And third, their genius strateg are designed to quickly settle your tax problems in your favor whether you owe 10,000 or 10 million. Their attorneys and negotiators have resolved $1 billion in tax debt. I trust Tax Network USA. Call and talk with one of their strategists. It's free. Stop looking over your shoulder and put the IRS troubles behind you. Call 800-780-8888 or go to tnusa.com Charlie I learn a lot in these dialogues. In fact, the dialogue at University of South Florida. I had a young man bring up something in regards to the trans debate that I should have known, but I didn't. And I did some research called the Swire Syndrome at a campus at University of Florida. There were other little elements. There was a young man. You guys will get a kick out of this video saying that we need to legalize LSD made a pretty compelling case. I wasn't able to counter it either way or counter or support it. Not exactly a subject matter that I care about, but almost like clockwork. I would say the number one question I receive with regularity is not even abortion. I did not get a single abortion question yesterday at the University of Florida. Pretty amazing when you think about it. I will get marijuana a lot. And there was some guy smoking marijuana the whole time yesterday. It smelled terrible. But I will always get a question on Israel. And of course, we are America first here on this program. We are not America. Only Israel is an ally. I love Israel. I treasure Israel. It's a beautiful country, not a perfect government. And not everything they've ever done is admirable or good or defensible. Nor is the American government. That's not the point. But Israel as a nation is. Is a place worth defending. Israel as a place with sovereignty and borders. And Israel shines a lot brighter when you contrast it with the barbarism and the disgusting behavior that's being very sweet, the butchery of its neighbors for anyone that has eyes to see and ears to hear and actually reads the cadith and reads parts of the Quran. You know that conquest is an Islamic value. To submit is literally what Islam means to make those submit. It's very hard to get serious Muslims to admit to this, that they actually do want conquest, that they do want to take over. Gaddafi said something similar in the late 90s saying that we're going to take over Europe without ever having to lift a sword. So there has definitely been a enough intellectual cover that said this. We've had imams in England saying they want to mount the west like a woman to be mounted and subdued. This young man and understand he's just a young man I believe though is an embodiment of a lot of the Islamic world. Islamic has rules for how to distribute the spoils of war, including sex slaves. This is a mindset that is dominant, a worldview that is popularized in the Islamic Arab world. This video is going viral. It is worth listening to carefully. Placot 245 if Israel laid down all of their weapons and said our military is no more, what would happen?
Unknown Student
At this point in time, I don't believe they would come to a two state solution after everything that's gone on.
Charlie Kirk
That wasn't the question. If Israel disbanded its military, what would happen?
Unknown Student
The Palestinians would take over, but they would listen, listen, listen not forcefully. This is the, this is how they operate. This is how Muslims operate Islamically. They let them live under them in Jizya. They tax them and they let them live and they take that tax and give it back to them. How do you think the Ottoman Empire worked and lasted 600 years? How do you think the golden age of Islam lasted and lasted for 300 years? Because this is history.
Charlie Kirk
So no, I just want to make sure I understand. So they would just take over mostly peacefully?
Unknown Student
No, most definitely peacefully, because that's what.
Charlie Kirk
Can you show me an example of Jews living peacefully under Islamic rule?
Unknown Student
Most definitely. Where when the Hamas had Israeli captives.
Charlie Kirk
Have you seen the Israeli captives they killed? There was a nine month old baby that just got returned home as a corpse by Hamas. But understand that that young man, which is not an embodiment of all Muslims, I get along with a lot of Muslims, but that young man, who I do not believe is a vast minority, believes that the example of how Jews and Muslims should coexist, the Middle east is what happened when Hamas took these Jews hostage. That's what he believes is an example of living peacefully when they slit the throats of these young little babies and return them back as corpses. The Israeli Hamas struggle is one versus civilization and barbarism. Remember that even if you think it's a bit overhyped. AI is suddenly everywhere from self driving cars to molecular medicine to business efficiency. If it's not in your industry yet, it's coming fast. But AI needs a lot of speed and computing power. So how do you compete with costs spiraling out of control? Time to upgrade to the next generation of the cloud. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or oci. OCI is a blazing, fast and secure platform for your infrastructure, database, application development, plus all your AI and machine learning workloads. Oracle is a very, very impressive company. So see if your company qualifies for this Special offer@oracle.com Kirk that is oracle.com Kirk okay. Joining us now is a very important guest, Scott baller from Saturate USA that is saturated saturateusa.org Scott, welcome back to the program. I know you want to update our audience on the incredible growth and numbers you've been experiencing. Scott, welcome back.
Scott Baller
Thanks, Charlie. Thanks for having us on. Yeah, no, you know, we got together last time in July at the Believers Summit and it was just such a great event. That was the one I think a lot of people saw that President Trump was on, made the comments about challenging Christians to get out there and vote, that he needed their vote. And they got a lot of play, I know, on a lot of the different networks, which is great. But yeah, we were able to be at that conference, meet a lot of great people, a lot of great young Americans, and the results for us are great. We had, if you can believe it, within a month after that conference, we had about 95 zip codes adopted for saturated USA, which accounts for about 575,000 people that were shared the gospel. So great stuff. Love you guys. Love the Believers Summit that we had and excited to continue to work and partner with you guys on getting the word out about Jesus Christ and sharing the gospel with people in the United States.
Charlie Kirk
So let's put up that chart that we had yesterday. It's really interesting. The New York Times wrote a piece saying that America's religious decline is actually curbed. It's flatlined a little bit and it's going up slightly. Scott, as you can see that chart over the last couple decades, there was a steady march downward of people no longer identifying as religious or spiritual or Christian. And so they are. It was marching down. But in the last couple of years post Covid, we've seen it tick up a little bit. So during COVID it went down and now we are seeing a slight resurgence. Dare we call it a revival? Do you see this in your work that you are doing at Saturate USA and tell us some of the data and the stories that you're experiencing?
Scott Baller
Well, definitely, Charlie. You know, Covid was Tough because obviously the government was keeping people from meeting in churches. And so that's a very tough thing. But since then, I think we're seeing a huge revival in people's values, wanting to get back to Christian values, understanding that that's where we need to be as a country. And so we've seen huge numbers. We've actually had on a guesstimate, there's about 120 million households in the United States. We've had 53 million adopted already over the last four to five years. And it's been incredible. We see churches going out there every day, sharing the gospel in their neighborhoods. And the whole premise of Saturate USA is not to uplift some organization, but really to get the churches back out in the community. And my personal opinion, as we've seen what's happened in the election here in November was I think that we're seeing that people are realizing that we've got to get back to some truth. We got to get back, as Musk said, about caring. We've got to get back to, you know, the values that are there in our country. It's not just about, you know, how you feel. There is a right and wrong and there. And we believe, you know, that's very clear in the gospel message of Jesus Christ. And so we are seeing that uptick. And the hope is, I think as a country is as we get back to more values of biblical values, I think then our values as it pertains to family, as it pertains to politics, all it changes as well. And I think that's, I think the American people have made a pretty strong case for that in the last election. As you look at the things that Trump, you know, went on and then the reaction and the numbers, as you see polls with people really caring about their community and so forth. And then I think with Christianity, a lot of times when things get tough, which we know, man, they were really tough there for four years under Biden, that people rely on prayer, they rely on their neighbors, they rely on help. And that's where the church can jump in and just help people out. So much.
Charlie Kirk
History, economics, the great works of literature. Did you study these things in school? Probably not. Or even if you did, maybe it's time for an enjoyable refresher. Hillsdale College is offering more than 40 free online courses, including their newest course on totalitarian novels. In this free eight lecture course, you'll learn from Hillsdale College President Larry Arne as he goes in depth on 4, 1984 Brave New World, Darkness at Noon and that Hideous Strength. I love all four. Even though these novels written in the 1930s and 40s, they're highly relevant today as they show what a tyrannical government does to human nature. More importantly, they can show us that faith, family and friends are worth fighting for. Maybe you read these books long time ago in school, maybe you've heard others talk about them and they seem a little intimidating. Let Hillsdale College, America's greatest college, help you make the most of them. Go right now to charlieforhillsdale.com to enroll. There's no cost and it's easy to get started. That is charleyforhillsdale.com C H A R L I E for hillsdale.com we must remind people the Constitution is incompatible with a faithless nation. The Constitution and a faithless nation cannot coexist and we need a belief in the eternal and the divine. And I do want to mention this just because it's about this topic of faith, that there has been a terrible situation for Christians. And I'll connect the dots here in a second. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, 70 believers were beheaded in church and it received no attention at all whatsoever from the mainstream media or from any coverage. That's right, 70 Christians were beheaded and these were Islamic jihadists and are a threat to Judeo Christian civilization. We as Christians need to realize how good we have it here in America and how amazing the freedoms and liberties that we enjoy. Scott, as you do this work at Saturate usa, remind our audience how all of them can take it upon themselves to spread the gospel and spread the word. What does this look like in practice?
Scott Baller
Pretty simple Charlie. What we ask people to do is get out there and either through individuals, through neighborhoods, through churches to go out and spread the gospel through their neighborhoods. Basically we provide them a packet. We call them Saturate packets. They have a DVD with online streaming capacities to look at the Jesus film in over 1800 different languages. It has Magdalena as well which is a movie about her and it's a great movie for inner city people. And then the last one would be Jesus film for children which is pretty self explanatory. Those are provided on the DVD but really are provided streaming wise for free for people. And then the last thing in there there's a booklet, it's called do you want to know God personally? And it's a very simple way to lead people through accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior. The last thing we ask them for the people to do is to put in local church information in the Back it. The goal is to get these people in their neighborhoods to be connecting with each other, with their neighbors, and then getting them into our local churches because that's where we need them to be. And so the impact's been incredible. We have, like I said, had over 53 million homes adopted. And people are going out with these packets with their church information in. They are walking the streets, they're praying for houses as they do it, and they're putting these packets either in hand by knocking on the door, but most people leave them on the door and then follow up weeks later. And we have seen church after church after church have huge impacts in sharing the gospel in their community, helping people in need and getting out there and doing that. And, you know, it's pretty amazing. You know, as I drive down my neighborhood, I don't know half the people in there, but I should, I should be sharing with the people in my neighborhood. I should be having community with them because if I'm doing that, then the values I have, they're going to know them and I might be able to impact them in greater ways, not only with their faith, but with politics and all those kind of things. And so it's really simple. You go out to saturatedusa.org, you fill out a form that takes about 10 seconds and one of our representatives will call you and get you set up. The key to this, Charlie, is everything is 100% free. There's no charge. We ship for free. Usually it takes about two to three weeks to get the materials. If we need to expedite that, we can, but the whole process is free. And the goal is to share the gospel with our neighbors.
Charlie Kirk
And is it fair to say that people can spend 20 minutes on this, two hours on this, two days on this, talk about how people can fit it within their schedule and then recite the website one more time, please?
Scott Baller
Yeah, so I mean, we have anywhere from, I know a couple in Denver, Colorado that has done, if you could imagine, over about 25,000 homes and they've been doing that for the last year. They go out on Saturdays and spend an hour or two walking, doing this on, on their, their free time. We've had churches that do, you know, weekend events where they get 100 to 150 volunteers and they'll do 15,000 in, in a Saturday. But you know, as you can think, you know, depending on your neighborhood and how spread out homes are and, and your, you know, how. Well, you know, walking, I mean, high school kids can do phenomenal things. I'VE seen youth groups do, you know, a couple thousand in an hour. But it's very simple. You basically do it in your time, when you want to do it, and in whatever way you want. We're more than happy as an organization to tell you best practices or give you information and connect you with other churches that have done it. But the key is it's done in your time and it can be done at your speed when you want to do it and so forth. We are doing a special thing where we're really trying to do a big push for Easter. We would love to get 2 million homes adopted in the next month or so so that we could have a big push before Easter. I think Easter is always a great time for the church to get people to come to church and to get involved in, in their community. So that's one of the things. But the website is saturated. There's a two minute video you can watch. It explains the whole process to you in detail. And then like I said, there's a, there's a form you fill out, takes about 10 seconds and we'll have someone call you and get you guys going on it.
Charlie Kirk
Scott, excellent. Thank you so much. You're welcome back anytime. Keep up the great work and God bless you.

Podcast Summary: The Charlie Kirk Show – "Is It Time for Democrats to 'Play Dead?'"
Episode Information:
In this compelling episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, host Charlie Kirk welcomes Scott Baller from Saturate USA to discuss the resurgence of religious values in America and the strategic landscape of the Democratic Party. The conversation delves into Kirk's recent campus tours, the impact of grassroots activism, and the evolving dynamics of America's culture war.
Charlie Kirk shares his experiences from recent campus visits, particularly highlighting a transformative event at the University of Florida.
Record Turnout and Support: Kirk recounts returning to the University of Florida to find "over 2,000 friendly supporters" (00:50). This marked a significant shift from previous visits where he faced substantial opposition and protests.
Engaging with Opponents: A notable interaction occurred with a passionate young man advocating for transgender athletes in women's sports. Kirk challenged him, asking, “Are you guys willing to move on from this idea that men can compete in women's sports?” (09:15). The student's unwavering stance exemplifies the deep-rooted positions within the Democratic base.
Psychological Stance of Democrats: Kirk argues that the Democratic base is "married" to progressive policies, making a strategic retreat unlikely. He emphasizes that the base has "never had to deal with losing a culture war battle" (10:45), indicating a reluctance to adapt or change direction.
The discussion shifts to the Democratic Party’s internal strategies, referencing a piece by James Carville.
James Carville’s Recommendation: Carville suggests that Democrats should "roll over and play dead," advocating for a "strategic political retreat" (12:30). This approach aims to bide time until the Trump administration's approval ratings decline further, providing Democrats an opportunity to seize the political momentum.
Charlie’s Counterarguments: Kirk counters Carville’s strategy by highlighting the ongoing successes of grassroots movements like Turning Point USA and Saturate USA. He asserts, “We are winning over new converts, every day we are winning over new young fans” (13:50), implying that active engagement remains crucial.
Impact of Funding Cuts: He also points out that reduced funding from sources like USAID could dampen Democratic pressure campaigns on campuses, suggesting that financial constraints may inadvertently benefit conservative movements (14:20).
Faith plays a central role in the episode, with both Kirk and Baller emphasizing the resurgence of Christian values.
Religious Revival: Kirk presents data from the New York Times indicating a slight increase in religious affiliation post-COVID, challenging the long-term decline in religiosity. He asks Baller if Saturate USA is witnessing a revival, to which Baller affirms, “Since then, I think we're seeing a huge revival in people's values, wanting to get back to Christian values” (19:22).
Saturate USA’s Mission: Baller elaborates on Saturate USA’s mission to re-establish Christian values across neighborhoods. He describes their methods, including distributing "Saturate packets" containing gospel materials and engaging communities through local churches (23:34).
Christian Perseverance: The conversation underscores the importance of faith in overcoming societal challenges. Kirk emphasizes the need for a belief in the eternal and the divine, stating, “The Constitution and a faithless nation cannot coexist” (22:10).
Scott Baller provides an in-depth look into Saturate USA’s initiatives and their impact on American communities.
Adoption of Zip Codes: Baller shares impressive metrics, noting that Saturate USA has adopted 95 zip codes, reaching approximately 575,000 people with the gospel (17:36).
Community Engagement: The organization empowers churches to distribute gospel materials, fostering connections within neighborhoods. Baller explains the practical steps involved, including the use of DVDs and booklets to guide individuals towards accepting Christ (23:34).
Volunteer Mobilization: Highlighting the flexibility of participation, Baller mentions that volunteers can tailor their efforts to fit their schedules, with some groups handling thousands of homes in short periods (26:10).
Easter Campaign: Looking ahead, Saturate USA aims to adopt 2 million homes before Easter, leveraging the holiday as a pivotal moment for community engagement and church involvement (26:22).
The episode touches on broader societal issues intertwined with politics and faith.
Comparison of Political Movements: Kirk criticizes the comparison between Donald Trump’s rise and Hitler’s, dismissing it as "complete garbage" (11:20). He calls for more nuanced historical analyses beyond such parallels.
Media and Religious Persecution: Addressing underreported issues, Kirk mentions the beheading of 70 Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo by Islamic jihadists, highlighting the ongoing threats to Judeo-Christian civilization that receive scant media attention (22:10).
Constitutional Integrity: The discussion reinforces the idea that America's constitutional framework is founded on faith-based principles, advocating for a nation grounded in belief to uphold its liberties and freedoms (23:34).
In this thought-provoking episode, Charlie Kirk and Scott Baller explore the intersection of faith, politics, and grassroots activism. They argue that the Democratic Party’s entrenched positions and suggested retreat strategies may falter against the rising tide of conservative values and religious resurgence. Through initiatives like Saturate USA, they emphasize the pivotal role of community engagement and faith in shaping America's future.
Notable Quotes:
Charlie Kirk (00:50): "We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and. And we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country."
Scott Baller (19:22): "Since then, I think we're seeing a huge revival in people's values, wanting to get back to Christian values."
James Carville (Referenced at 14:33): "We need a strategic political retreat."
Charlie Kirk on Carville’s Strategy (15:09): "Until the Trump administration has spiraled into the low 40s or 30s in public approval should we make like a pack of hyenas and go for the juggle."
Scott Baller (23:34): "The key to this is everything is 100% free. There's no charge. We ship for free."
For those interested in fostering community and faith-based initiatives, The Charlie Kirk Show offers valuable insights and actionable strategies to support the resurgence of Christian values in America.
