Go to noblegoldinvestments.com Email us freedom charliekirk.com we have a very important show here today. The signal situation is continuing and I would love to no longer talk about this. It is my preference to go talk about other issues that are occurring right now. There's a lot of good things happening. Our southern border is secure. Governor Kristi Nunn is going to and she's visiting El Salvadorian prisons. But this is a very, very important story and let me tell you why, because it is revealing a fault line of actually what divides the Republican Party. The Republican Party is not divided based on domestic policy. We're actually largely in agreement. We want low taxes, we want economic freedom, even deportations. You're not going to find a lot of fight amongst rank and file Republican senators about this. Instead, the fault line, the dividing line in the Republican Party is foreign Policy. It is foreign policy. It's whether or not you want to continue the great American empire, if you want to invade more sovereign countries, if you believe the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war were a success or a mistake. The JD Vance America first force that President Trump has been pushing forward, The President Trump J.D. vance Force, I should say, is one of America First. Not America only, but America first. Where the other side of the Republican Party is America everywhere, all the time, regardless of the cost, the consequences, or the issues that we might intentionally or unintentionally make happen. The fallout from the signal chat is revealing this fault line. It is revealing the fault line because on one side, you have the neoconservatives, and on the other side, you have the realists. You have the America first patriots. And they are trying to use this as an opportunity. The neoconservatives on Capitol Hill, the neoconservatives within our deep state of government, to remove the good guys in our administration. So you have two teams here. I'm going to break it through. No one else is making this analysis right now because I happen to be in the weeds on this. I'm telling you exactly what's occurring. Number one, there is a coordinated hit. There is a concerted attack. There is a collaborative strike against Pete Hegseth. Front page of the Wall Street Journal. Hegseth faces rising scrutiny over security breach on chat front page, the New York Times, right here. Leaked signal chat excerpts from the signal chat published Wednesday. It's all about Pete Hegseth. Now, understand, whose job is it to make sure that established order is followed in military communications first and foremost? It's actually the national Security Advisor's job. It is Mike Waltz and his team to even say, hey, Pete, we should not be having this conversation here. Who set up the chat? Did Pete Hegseth set up the group chat? No, no, no. Mike Waltz and Alex Wong set up the group chat, not Pete Hegseth. Pete Hegseth merely participated in it. Should he have done that? Maybe, maybe not. Signals an approved device, said it wasn't classified information. But what you're seeing all of a sudden as a response is someone who is not responsible for this, under any fair analysis, is getting all of the media scrutiny. It's a coordinated attack on our friend of this program, Pete Hegseth, and we are not going to put up with this. They are trying to, they being the neoconservatives on Capitol Hill. I'm going to tell you who they are, name by name, to now go remove Pete Hegseth. And remember how hard we had to fight to get Pete Hegseth across the finish line. We had the whole Joni ERNST Situation. Mitch McConnell voted against him. We had to go to 50 votes and J.D. vance had to break the tie. And they are now trying to remove Pete Hegseth because Pete Hegseth is not a warmonger. What bothered them the most about the signal chat is not the fact that they were using Signal to discuss, quote, unquote, attack plans or war plans. What bothered them is Pete Hegseth and JD Vance are simpatico in a prudent use of American force and a cautious foreign policy perspective. Not a belligerent one, not a aggressive one, not a George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, John Bolton view of American foreign policy that gave us the failures over the last 20, 30 years. What bothered the people on Capitol Hill is the fact that J.D. vance and Pete Hegseth have a much more nuanced worldview to put America and Americans first. So the hit is underway against Pete Hegseth. But it's not just Pete Hegseth. Also, there was an article this morning in the Jewish Insider citing seven US Senators attacking JD Vance for what he was saying in the group chat this morning. And those seven US Senators were all anonymous. The seven US Senators refused to even go on the record. This is revealing the fault line of the actual divide in the Republican Party. And it is foreign policy. You know who else shares Cheney and George W. Bush views? It's Jeffrey Goldberg. He was a fake news hack used to stoke the Iraq War. Coincidence? Maybe. So what's really going on here is is a fight for the soul of our Republican Party. It's not about Signal group chats. It's not about security. It's not about any of that hocus pocus stuff. It's not about Roger Wicker who's sending this ridiculous letter from Mississippi saying, well, we need to have a Department of Defense IG investigation. Do you notice that none of them on Capitol Hill, from Tom Cotton to Roger Wicker, are drawing any fire on the person that actually created this group chat, or his lieutenant, Alex Wong. Do you notice that they're not criticizing Mike Waltz at all? That they're not going after Alex Wong, his deputy, who's the one that was responsible for putting this all together? No, instead, out of nowhere, it's Pete Hegseth's fault. What is that all about? Because they want to remove Pete Hegseth regardless of this entire situation. Oh, and it gets even richer than this. So Alex Wong is the deputy national security adviser under Mike Waltz. Alex Wong, discovered by Laura Loomer. His wife, Candace Chu. Wong worked under the Obama administration and the Biden administration as an assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. attorney's office. Oh, she was involved in the prosecution of many January 6ers. This guy is married to someone that was locking up our Patriots. Mike Waltz. According to reporting that I've heard, Mike Waltz still has a ton of Biden holdovers in the Trump national security office. A ton people that have donated to Kamala Harris. They're still working in the National Security Agency right now in the Trump White House. Mike Waltz has defended them. So why is it that Pete Hegseth gets all the criticism, but Mike Waltz and Alex Wong are just kind of skating by? They're not on the front page of the New York Times. They're not on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. It's a little bizarre, isn't it? It's because Waltz can be replaced easily. It's barely a win. And also, Mike Waltz is friends with all of these neoconservatives. Let me show it to you. Out of nowhere, Tom Cotton, the chief warmonger on Capitol Hill, the head of the Senate Intel Community Committee, tweets out this morning a defense of Alex Wong. Remember, Tom Cotton has been behind trying to stop Elbridge Colby. Tom Cotton was the one that was pushing against Tulsi Gabbard. And they're back for revenge. The military industrial complex, via the neoconservatives on the Senate Hill, are back for revenge against our America first movement. And they are all after Pete Hegseth. This simultaneous strike against Pete Hegseth is not a mistake. It is a coordinated plan. It is a unified, synchronized attack. It is orchestrated. So Tom Cotton tweets out this morning, and no one asked Tom Cotton his opinion on this. Alex Wong and his wife Candace are complete and total patriots. Oh, so Tom Cotton thinks Candace is a total patriot, even though she was the one that was locking up January 6th protesters. Really? Tom Cotton, 100% MAGA warriors who always put America first. That's quite a statement. For three years, Alex worked hard for me until President Trump smartly hired him away. Oh, he worked for you to go try to have war plans against every sovereign country that we shouldn't invade. Interesting. Remember, Tom Cotton is like the chief cheerleader to send more money to Ukraine. Number one, America's safer and better off with Alex in the White House. Thank you for your service, Alex. What a weird flex. Tom Cotton, we didn't ask you for your opinions. On Alex Wong. And do you think this actually helps the case? The fact you're defending Alex Wong makes us very suspicious because you are chief warmonger usa. You are number one. You are the new Dick Cheney of the Republican Party. It's obvious. We see it. We know it. The lady doth protest too much. Me thinks. And let me tell you right now, our movement will awaken from its slumber if you dare lay a hand on Pete Hegseth or the America First Patriots that are in this cabinet to try to defend Alex Wong and the warmonger cabal that you guys want to keep on having in this administration. We would have been happy to move on from this story. I didn't want to talk about the signal story. I'm sick of it. It's over. Whatever. You made a mistake. But all of a sudden, I wake up to both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and we have Pete Hegseth receiving all this fire, and we got Roger Wicker sending. Oh, we need a DoD independent investigator investigation. No, no, no. We see what's happening here. This is an op. This is an op where you are trying to take out a big, big scalp. Someone that you never wanted to be a DoD secretary. And guess who wanted to be DoD secretary himself. Tom Cotton wanted to be head of the DOD and he didn't get it. And he's bitter and spiteful. That's really what's going on. Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. The April 15 tax deadline is coming fast. Do you have an unfiled tax return? Can't pay the irs. The IRS is more aggressive than ever. And the longer you wait, the. The worse it gets. Wage garnishments, bank levies, even property seizures are on the table. You need to get ahead of this. That is 1-800-958-10000 or visit tnusa.com charlie so we have to see the forest from the trees on all this. We have to take a step back and realize, wait a second. Why is it that Hakeem Jeffries and Pete Buttigieg, like who asked him? And the DNC chair and Jason Crow and the National Review. That's right, the National Review are all saying that Pete Hegseth should be fired or resign. So let's put this one up. Let's start with the National Review because they pretend to be on the right. So they put this up, the National Review. Trump should fire Pete Hegseth. It's weird. Did you say we should fire Mike Waltz or Alex Wong? The person who brought Jeffrey Goldberg into the chat? The person who created this. Oh, but no, Pete Hegseth. Really? Oh, you mean you wanted to get rid of Pete anyway, even though Pete had nothing to do with this controversy. Nothing. And then Senator Mark Kelly's coming out and then the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, they're beating this drum all about Hegseth. And this should be a little disorienting to you because it has nothing to do with Pete hegseth. There were 17 or 18 people on this chat. John Ratcliffe was on the chat. Stephen Miller was on the chat. Tulsi Gabbard was on the chat. Maybe there's something else going on here. Maybe the Roger Wickers and the Tom Cotton's don't care for Pete very much. Are they defending him? Has anybody in the media that is not on the right called for the resignation of Mike Waltz? If not, that's awfully strange. I'm not even calling for the resignation of Mike Waltz. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying if all of a sudden you're Gonna Bizarrely pick one out of the 18 Pete Hegseth, explain yourself. Exactly why is it that you're picking Pete? It's because you don't want Pete to be in charge of the US military. Cuz he's doing stuff you don't like. He's dewokifying it. He's challenging government contracts. He's pushing back against the hyper aggressive posture in Russia and Ukraine. If anyone should resign, maybe it's the people that created the group chat and invited Jeffrey Goldberg. Pete Hegseth did not invite Jeffrey Goldberg. At the most you could say Pete Hegseth should not have been participating in the group chat. Fine. He's new on the job. It's a government approved device. It's a Government approved messaging platform. That is a completely different threshold of the person who invited the editor and the chief of the Atlantic. And are any of them being gonna be held accountable all of a sudden? We have to now be hypnotized to believe that Pete Hegseth is a problem. Now look, let me tell you this. President Trump is awesome. The chances of anything happen to be hegseth is very little. That's not the point. The point is who's calling for it. Roger Wicker. This morning we should put this up. Roger Wicker sent out a letter trying to now tie up Pete Hegseth. Why do we need Democrats if we have Republicans like this? This morning, Roger Wicker sent a letter to the Department of Defense Inspector General demanding the IG to now go investigate Pete Hegseth. Hmm, that's interesting. So they write a letter to the Department of Defense saying the IG should now tie up Pete Hegseth time. Looking into this text message. Has anybody on Capitol Hill called for an investigation to Mike Waltz? Why not? Has Hakeem Jeffries or any of these Democrats called for Mike Waltz to Resign? You're just one of many to 64 stops with the President of the United States of America. Which is why I made clear to.
Cliff Maloney
President Trump yesterday in my correspondence that the Secretary of Defense should be fired.
Charlie Kirk
Immediately if he's not man enough to.
Cliff Maloney
Own up to his mistakes and resign in disgrace.
Charlie Kirk
That's strange. Hakeem, did you not call for the resignation of Mike Waltz? Why not? Because he's not a threat to you guys. Because he might be leaking to the Atlantic. We don't know. Maybe Mike Waltz is back channeling to all you guys. I don't know. But Pete Hegseth certainly isn't. Republicans got strong armed into approving the nomination of Pete Hegseth. They would love to undo that vote however they can, but they were too cowardly to do it in public because they knew in this audience you guys would not put up with it. These are cowards. The same people that did this Jewish insider piece this morning where they say, well, all seven of us disapprove of J.D. vance's approach in the private group chat. None of them are willing to go on the record, so now they're anonymously trying to go after J.D. vance, but not any one of them are going after Ratcliffe or Mike Waltz. What is going on here? We know exactly what's going on here. This is a fault line of a worldview in the Republican Party. That's all. This is what you are seeing is the bubbling up of something that's been below the surface for quite a while. And we hoped that it wouldn't have to come to this. But the neoconservatives are forcing the hand of the actual base of the Republican Party and it's a red line. It is a hard, bright red line that you're not going to get after Pete. And by the way, if we're going after anybody, then we deserve answers from Alex Wong and Michael Waltz. How did Jeffrey Goldberg end up in this group chat? You want an investigation? I don't think you're going to like that investigation. We see it all the time. When I visit college campuses, young adults demonize the concept of free markets and think government is the solution to every problem. How do we change this? By teaching our kids the foundational principles to counter what they are taught in public school. Parents want to teach their children about liberty, limited government and free markets, but often wonder, where do I start? That's where Tuttle twins can help. They empower parents by providing quality resources that break down these ideas in a way children can understand. Take their book. The Tuttle twins learn about the law in this story. The twins learn about their rights, that true laws protect people and that we should help others and that stealing is always wrong. Children can only change the world for the better if they learn these important principles. Now go to tuttletwins.com Charlie today and purchase their 14 book children's series for your family. They'll learn to think for themselves, to stand for Liberty. Go to tuttletwins.com Charlie today. Tuttletwins.com Charlie joining us now is great American patriot and friend of the program and someone who went very viral on election evening and he's wearing the obligatory 47 hat, Cliff Maloney. Now, we're going to go through some not great news here in this segment, but that's why I love that you're wearing the hat, Cliff. Even though it might not be great news, we still won the White House. Cliff, how you doing? Great to see you.
Cliff Maloney
It's great to be here, Charlie. Love how fired up you were for that first half. Man. We've got a lot going on. Feel like every hour we've got something new. But we've got our country back, which is great.
Charlie Kirk
Well, look, as you know, I have a special disdain for neoconservatives who pretend to be America first to their voters. If you want to go be a neoconservative, happy, go lucky, invade Iran, colonize Venezuela and go bomb Every country that you can't pronounce, at least tell your voters that's who you are. Don't go send mailers and say, I'm America first, by the way, let's go to war against Iran. It's repulsive, it's dishonest, it's deceitful. Cliff, tell us what happened last evening, I believe, or at least a couple days ago in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Cliff Maloney
Yeah. So Pennsylvania, we had two special elections. The first was a state House special out in the Pittsburgh area. This is a Democrat seat, 75, 25, no way to win that seat. And so obviously the Democrats kept that, which kept the majority in the House. But the major shocker, Charlie, was there was a special Senate election. This is Senate District 36. This is Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a district that Trump won by 15 percentage points. It's actually R +23. When you look at Democrat to Republican registrations, Republicans are up by 23%. If you look on the screen here, you can see this was a shock result. Democrats ran up the score. You see there the mail in voting, 8,000 mail in votes, the Republicans 3,000. And we ended up losing the race by about 500 votes. And Charlie, the most frustrating thing for me is we offered to run our phase program and we were told by the consultant class, hey, don't worry, it's a waste of money. We've got it. We're going to get the mail ballots in. And now we're finding out they didn't chase one mail in ballot with no paid ballot chasers. There was no program whatsoever. And so it's just frustrating for us to lose a seat like this in a time where we're supposed to be mobilizing in the off year. I thought that 2024 was going to be the time when groups like Turning Point, groups like Citizens alliance, we went out and proved to folks, listen, all you have to do is take these Trump supporters and make them Trump voters. That's a great line of yours. That's true. But the consultant class has yet to figure it out. Charlie, I'll take the blame for this. You know, I believe them, that it was going to be a cakewalk, that it was going to be some sort of just easy win. And because we rested on our laurels, the Democrats have now shifted a Senate seat and we cannot let that happen again. So I'm committing on your show that no more will I listen to the consultant class and these corrupt folks in Harrisburg. We're just gonna go do our program and we cannot listen to these people who don't understand the power of chasing ballots.
Charlie Kirk
So I just. I'm gonna ask a provocative question. Do they really care that much about winning, or is it more just about the graft and making money? And if they happen to win, then it's a nice little bonus.
Cliff Maloney
Well, look, I actually think it's a little worse than that. I think we were pushed out because, you know, people want to be able to take full credit. The nice thing about 2024 is we all work together, right? We all say, look, we don't care who gets credit. We just want to win. And so we took the different tactics, we took the different assignments for certain states and certain ways that we were going to reach voters, and we all just owned it. And so what I find is, yeah, Charlie, I'm looking at the reports here. These folks are lining their pockets. They're not understanding how to communicate with voters. And it's every single excuse that we hear from the Ronna McDaniel types from the previous GOP leaders. It's candidate quality. It's too extreme of a message. They're too maga. They're too America First. This is all the Monday morning quarterback you're hearing now because the consultants just don't get it. So, yes, they're lining their pockets, but I also think they just don't understand we're not the party of Karl Rove anymore. The rules don't allow us to just spend millions on TV ads and then wonder why we didn't win. It's an election month. It is not an election week. It is not election day in Pennsylvania, and it's time we actually adapt. I think the silver lining here, Charlie, is that these consultants have been so embarrassed that even the most, you know, I would call them establishment type voters are like, how in the world did you lose a Trump +15 seat? Maybe this chasing of ballots is what we should focus on. So I'm hoping this is the wake up call for all of the patriots across PA to say we cannot miss an election. We have to chase ballots in every election in Pennsylvania.
Charlie Kirk
So. So, Cliff, here's the good news. The good news is that we know it can work in a general election. You did it. We helped a little bit, but you were the pioneer. You were the vanguard, especially to get Dave McCormick to be a U.S. senator. We have a special election problem right now. Randy Fine is in a big fight right now in the Florida 6th congressional district. There's a new story breaking today that Elise Stefanik might not end up resigning to Become UN Ambassador because it might put the margins a little bit. Now, I think that if Josh Parker became the nominee, it wouldn't be a problem. But that's a separate issue for another time. What do we need to do to change the mindset of our base, our funders, that these special elections matter?
Cliff Maloney
Yeah, well, I'm with you. I think if it gets to be pretty close, you know, we like Elise, but I think the, the power of having the majority is extremely important. So I would double down on that. But I think, Charlie, it's what we preach for the last year and a half, which is, look in a lot of these areas, look at Randy Fines district, you know, look at Jimmy Petronas in this district, Florida 1. They have the voters. Okay. We're not talking about swing districts where, hey, you know, maybe we have to work on registration or maybe we have to do persuasion or maybe we have to message correctly. No, we just have to do the ground game to turn out our voters. So, yes. Do they need to run traditional advertising? Sure. But I think the shift in mindset, the shift in the culture within Republican strategic circles has to be taking the model from 2024 and making it permanent infrastructure.
Charlie Kirk
Right.
Cliff Maloney
I mean, that's what we're doing in PA. We're doing 500,000 doors every year. And I think the folks in Florida and the folks in New York, if it does come up for an election, we have to understand, if you have the voters and you said this, you're the first person I heard ever say this. Take Trump supporters and make them Trump voters. Meaning we have the people, we have the energy, but we need to double down on the ground game the same way the Democrats do. And by the way, this race in PA, Josh Shapiro had 105 full time people on the ground. He gets it. They might be in disarray nationally, they might not have a leader, but politics is business to them and they take it seriously. We as Republicans have to start understanding and taking it serious that we are going to double down, work the doors, chase the ballots and exploit the rules legally the way the Democrats do.
Charlie Kirk
It's a major mentality issue. And also comment on Wisconsin. Right now we have this Wisconsin Supreme Court seat. We're working our tail off. We're driving turnout in the wild counties. The problem is that the Democrats, they have more full time bodies. If it wasn't for turning point action, it would be a little bit of a nightmare on the ground there. We're doing everything we can to squeeze out, but every day, let me Tell you, we are knocking on doors in Wisconsin and the team's doing a great job. Tyler and Brett, they're working their tail off at Turning Point Action. But every day we're knocking on doors and someone will say, what election are you talking about? We just elected Trump. What do you mean this is a problem, Cliff? We have to change the entire philosophy of a Republican based voter when it comes to these special and one off elections.
Cliff Maloney
Yeah. And I think the message, you know, at the door, I'm sure, you know, you guys are getting the same feedback that we get in PA is we have to figure out a way to tie this to something that is if you want to continue the Trump agenda. And Charlie, the best part is, I mean, look at the approval ratings, right? If we can tie these candidates to Trump, that's a huge net positive. Despite what the Rove and the Romney type folks are going to tell you. People want the message. They want maga, they want America first. They want the golden age. And I think you're right, it's an institutional, it's a cultural shift. But I think the nice thing is we still have Trump to at least to try to attach onto. And obviously he's not on the ballot, which makes it difficult. But with Elon in the White House doing what he's doing with Trump continuing hour by hour to create massive reform to save this republic. That's the challenge for us, is how do we connect whatever election it is, if it's Brad for Supreme Court in Wisconsin, if it's these specials in Florida connecting that our candidate must win. It is vital that you vote because it's going to continue these Trump reforms that are saving the country. It's not an easy task. Right. It's a challenge because people aren't as motivated without Trump on the ballot. But I think that's our excuse, that's our hurdle to have to get over. And I think we're doing the legwork to hopefully deliver some strong results.
Charlie Kirk
What is on the docket of other races that we should be aware of beyond Wisconsin in this year? And look, everybody, we're going to be in a midterm cycle by Christmas. By Christmas. We are in a midterm election. We're just months away from being well within a midterm cycle. Cliff, tell us.
Cliff Maloney
Yeah, well, I think you've got, you know, big races, obviously New Hampshire in terms of the Senate seat, I think is going to be huge at the state that we play in. Hoping you guys go out there and help us out. We've Got some big talks there with Tyler. But look, let me come back to PA which is my bread and butter because we do have some crucial races. If we're talking 2026, we've got three congressional swing districts. We won all three of those in 2024. We don't win those. We don't have the majority right now. So they're going to be three defenses now that we're going to have to win. We're going to have to do the typical Chase program. But Charlie, let's, let's just look at 2025, right? Obviously, Wisconsin and these Florida races are going to be huge. Greatly appreciate what you guys are doing in Wisconsin. It wasn't for you guys, we'd have no shot to win that race. 2025 in Pennsylvania, there's something very interesting. The people that control the elections in terms of the election day decisions, these are called judge of elections in Pennsylvania. We are actually trying to go out and elect 1,000 of those. And that's why we're doubling down this PHA's program. And here's why it's important. If you want JD Vance in 2028, if you want fair elections in 2026, the people who get elected for judge of elections in Pennsylvania, the largest swing state in 2025, they control the election day decisions for 2026 through 2029. And so my push to you and what we're doing is we want to make sure that we have this entire grassroots army to get to make those decisions. And Charlie, you reported on all the crazy, wacky stuff. It comes out a lot of these counties with just the possible thing. But yeah, really, really focused on general elections.
Charlie Kirk

Attempted judicial supremacy. As we've said many times on this program the last 100 years, the power in America has largely concentrated an unelected bureaucracy and unelected judiciary. We can look to other countries to see where this goes. Right now in the country of Brazil, there is a shocking and a horrifying development happening. Remember back in 2022, Bolsonaro lost by a razor thin margin. As you might remember, he won every part of the country except the poorest, the most crime ridden and the most corrupt corner of the country, the Northeast, where left wing candidate Lula da Silva won. There was a ton of agitation. They had their own January 6th like moment where they rallied in support of Bolsonaro and it went way too far. And ever since then, there's been a gigantic Joe Biden style lawfare crackdown. Judges in Brazil have exerted far more power than even in the United States. Judges and counties, attorneys general equivalent have imposed sweeping speech controls on X and other speech platforms. Now Bolsonaro is going to be put on trial for supposedly plenty plotting a coup. President Lula said today that it's Bolsonaro's duty to quote, prove his innocence. It's not innocent until proven guilty. It's guilty until proven innocent. This is in a country of Brazil that we allegedly call an ally. If Russia were to do this, we would sanction them. If Brazil does it, why are we putting up with it? And the answer is we shouldn't. Is the U.S. state Department, Marco Rubio and President Trump should issue tariffs and if necessary, sanctions on Brazil for this kind of reckless, immoral behavior. But even more than that, this is a warning sign. This is what judicial despotism looks like. This is the type of behavior that should have no place in the western modern world. They are going to try to put Bolsonaro in prison to have him die in jail as a martyr. The left believes in democracy, allegedly. But do you know what they mean by democracy? They think democracy is judges making themselves dictators. The judge is an avatar of democracy. They don't believe in voting. They don't believe in the will of the people. They don't believe in the sovereign. Democracy, for a left winger isn't elections or rights or constitutions. It's just being a liberal. It is a judicial oligarchy. These are all warnings to us, as we now have judge after judge stopping President Trump from doing what he wants to do. We can look to Brazil and Israel to a lesser extent to see how the will of the sovereign is undermined on a daily basis. And praise the Lord because when we dodge that bullet as a civilization on July 13, this is where we were headed under a Kamala Harris presidency. This is where we are headed under a Joe Biden regime. If Donald Trump would have been shot and killed there, there is no guarantee that we would have won the presidential election in November, no guarantee if the country would still exist. They would have locked all of us in jail. They would have raided our homes. And what they are doing to Bolsonaro is exactly what they would have liked to do to President Donald Trump. And Brazil is a canary in the coal mine, a harbinger of things to come, a warning that if we do not stay vigilant, that if we do not take the midterm seriously and chase ballots and register voters, that we can lose all the gains that we have. Because it is in a remarkably fragile state, that right now a good man and a once duly elected president of Brazil, Bolsonaro, has to prove his innocence and is destined to die in jail. Podcast Summary: "Why Some Republicans Want To Betray Hegseth"
Podcast Information:
In this pivotal episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, host Charlie Kirk delves into the escalating controversy surrounding Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of the Department of Defense. He unpacks the underlying tensions within the Republican Party, highlighting a significant foreign policy divide that is reshaping the party's dynamics.
[00:00 - 01:00]
Charlie Kirk opens the episode by signaling a "very important" discussion about the recent backlash against Pete Hegseth. He emphasizes the significance of understanding why certain Republicans are now targeting Hegseth despite his pivotal role in the administration.
Notable Quote:
"This reveals why all of a sudden the knives are out for Pete Hegseth. What's going on here?" – Charlie Kirk [00:00]
[01:00 - 16:24]
Kirk outlines the crux of the issue: the Republican Party is not fracturing over domestic policies like taxes or economic freedom but is instead divided over foreign policy. On one side are the "America First" patriots led by figures like J.D. Vance, advocating for a more restrained and pragmatic foreign policy. On the other side are neoconservatives who support maintaining and expanding America's global empire through interventionist strategies.
Key Points:
Notable Quotes:
Kirk critiques the media's selective accountability, pointing out that while Pete Hegseth is under intense scrutiny, others like Mike Waltz and Alex Wong, who were instrumental in setting up the problematic group chat, remain unaccounted for. He suggests this selective targeting reflects deeper political machinations rather than genuine concerns over security breaches.
Notable Quote:
"Why is it that Hakeem Jeffries and Pete Buttigieg... are all saying that Pete Hegseth should be fired or resign?" – Charlie Kirk [14:45]
The episode underscores the existential debate within the GOP about its direction. The neoconservative faction, according to Kirk, seeks to maintain a hawkish foreign policy that many party members now find unsustainable. Conversely, the America First faction aims for a more measured approach, prioritizing national interests without overextension.
Notable Quote:
"This is a fight for the soul of our Republican Party." – Charlie Kirk [12:50]
Transitioning from the internal party dynamics, Kirk and guest Cliff Maloney discuss recent special elections in Pennsylvania, illustrating the challenges the GOP faces in maintaining its hold on key seats. They express frustration with traditional campaign consultants, advocating instead for grassroots strategies focusing on voter turnout and ballot chasing.
Notable Quote:
"The most frustrating thing for me is we offered to run our phase program and we were told by the consultant class... they have yet to figure it out." – Cliff Maloney [19:37]
In the concluding segments, the focus shifts to upcoming political battles in Wisconsin and Florida. Kirk emphasizes the urgency of adapting Republican strategies to ensure victory in these critical races, urging a departure from outdated methods and a reinvigoration of grassroots efforts.
Notable Quote:
"We have to change the entire philosophy of a Republican based voter when it comes to these special and one-off elections." – Cliff Maloney [27:30]
Charlie Kirk wraps up the episode by reiterating the importance of understanding the current divide within the Republican Party. He calls for unity among America First Republicans to resist the neoconservative push and to safeguard the party's foundational principles.
Notable Quote:
"These are cowards. The same people that did this Jewish insider piece this morning... They're cowards and we are not going to put up with it." – Charlie Kirk [16:50]
This episode of The Charlie Kirk Show offers a deep dive into the internal conflicts plaguing the Republican Party, using the case of Pete Hegseth as a lens to explore broader ideological battles. Kirk and Maloney provide a compelling narrative on the importance of strategic voter engagement and the need for a cohesive foreign policy stance to ensure the party's future success.
For listeners seeking clarity on the current political landscape and the future direction of the GOP, this episode serves as a crucial analysis of the battles being fought within and what they mean for America's conservative movement.
