Hello guys. Welcome back to the Cheeseman corner. I know it's been a hot minute. I think it's been like a little bit over a month. I don't have like a huge excuse or anything. I really don't. This is a space where I like, come on here and I'm just like authentically myself and I give you guys, you know, just me and my real life and everything. I just really needed to just like step back for a little bit. That's really all it really is. I wanted to come back fresh. I wanted to come back like with more ideas for the podcast. Like, I just, I just needed it. I just needed a little breaky break. Like there's really nothing else to it. I just wanted to be present in the moment with, with, you know, my family and everything. So I'm sorry, I know you guys missed me. Me. I've been seeing the messages and stuff, but I wanted to come back and like, you know, let you guys know what I've been up to. Like, if you guys like a little update because we are back Baby, we are so back. Right now I'm in my screened in porch and it's so beautiful. Like, well, it's actually gonna be like 102 degrees today, but right now it's pretty early in the morning, so it's really nice and I'm just enjoying it. I love the scenery. I got like my little, my little palm tree here and everything. But I like to like switch up the scenery of like where I podcast and stuff. You guys know that. So I was like, why not just podcast outside today? Like, I'm looking at the pool, we got the birds chirping out here. Like, I love it. I just been really in tune with nature lately. Like, I just been. It just makes me feel so grounded. And I actually just ordered like a bunch of bird feeders because I don't know, I don't know if it's age or what, but there's something about birds. Like, I've been so obsessed with birds and just like watching them. But yeah, I, I am just a bird watching ass right now. But I just, I get a lot of like the little cardinals. We get so many different. I just started noticing how many different types of birds we have out here that come visit me and like our home and it's just so freaking cute. So I'm like, I want a little place where I can feed them. And like, it's so, so sweet. The other day I went to my best friend Shauna's house and. And we were just outside, like, just talking and she has like bird feeders and stuff. And we were just watching the birds. We were talking about how expensive everything is. Like, we sounded like boomers. I looked at her and I straight up said, I was like, yo, we sound like boomers. Like, and she was like, for real? We're all here feeding birds, watching birds and talking about, you know, how expensive everything is. So we were dying laughing. I'm like, this is what, this is what life has been lately.

But yeah, we are on summer break right now, and usually Vivi does go to, like, a camp or something, but the gym that she used to go to shut down. Obviously, I talked about it before, and that's unfortunately where she used to go for summer camp. Like, that's where I used to sign her up all the time. So I asked her, I was like, do you want me to, like, find you another place, or do you kind of just want to chill at home? But if you chill at home, like, I'm gonna have stuff for you to do. Like, I still want you to, like, work on some workbooks. Like, I got her a cursive workbook. We got her, like, a fifth grade workbook that she could start working on. And, like, grammar, and she's got to read a book and everything. She actually has to read two books. I told her I wanted her to read two books this summer and, like, write me a little book report. But I told her I was like, you're not going to be home, like, not doing nothing. Like, you got to do something or you can, like, help me with work stuff, whatever. So she was like, yeah, I want to, like, stay home. So that's what she's doing. And she's actually going to be on the podcast next week. She's, like, begged me. She was like, mom, I want to get on the podcast. Like, can we do a podcast episode? I was like, all right. I told her I was podcasting today, and she was like, without me? Like, the girl loves it. But I'll probably have her on next week for sure so she can get off my back a little bit. We have, like, this little summer bucket list that we made, and it's so Freaking cute. Like, I think there's about, like, 27 things on there, and we've already done, like, seven of them,
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
so.

And then this weekend is Fourth of July, so we're gonna have my mom come over, because, like, my mom, my stepfather, get off. That's really what we celebrate. Like, my family being able to come down here and, like, have off of work, and we just have family time. Like, that's our celebration. Yeah, we're gonna have, like, a little barbecue here, and we're gonna probably be able to knock off, like, three more things on the bucket list. But we have so many great things on there. Like, we already went to the beach. We went to the water park. Me and Vivi got mani pedis. She made slime. There's so, like, they swam in the ocean. Like, those are some of the things that we crossed off. But I highly recommend, if you have not done one yet, do a summer bucket list with your kids. Like, it's so fun. And we made it so that we have, like, a little picture spot in there so that whenever we do the things, that's how we cross it off. Like, we. We tape the picture on there. So Bibi has this little, like, Polaroid camera. We just take the pictures right there on the spot spot, and it prints it out for us, like, right there. And we just put it on the summer bucket list. And it's so cute. Like, it's been so much fun. When I showed it on my Instagram, everyone was like, this is such a, like, cute idea. Like, I love it. And I was like, we just. Everyone needs to have a summer bucket list. It's been. It's been really fun to do, and it kind of keeps you, like, motivated to do things throughout the summer. Because I feel like sometimes summer can be, like, you know, you'll do, like, a few fun things, and then you kind of get over it, and you're just like. You kind of just, like, either run out of ideas or whatever. So it's a fun way to have everything in, like, one place. And you see, okay, this is what we want to do. So you can kind of plan out days to do the things and, like, spread them out, you know? So that's what we've been doing, and we're really excited this weekend. We're going to have all our family over. Like, y' all know, I'm always. We always celebrating. I'm always hosting. So super, super excited for that. I'm trying to think of anything else that I can update you guys on. Vivi had cheer choreography this week. Oh, my God. It was the longest. Like, that poor girl, she had, like, the longest days of her life. Like, one of them was, like, from 9 to 6, and then the next day was, like, 8 to 5. Like, she was doing choreography all day. So I'm like, girl, this is what it is. This is cheer. So all my cheer mamas, like, I know, like, we. We just starting up. We're starting up the new season and everything. So it's been. It's also been, like, very. You know, we're trying to, like, get things together. We're getting, like, her uniform set, like, her sizes, like, ordering everything. Like, it is. It's a lot. It's so much. The only. The thing that I actually really like is that they don't really do team moms for this. They kind of like. Like, when everyone, like, chips in. So, like, they don't have, like, a set person to be, like, team mom. So I was like, okay, this is, like, really interesting. So it's basically like, if you want to chip in and, like, do things for the girl, you could do it. So I was like, oh, that. You know, I'm. You know. You know, I'm gonna do it. Like, I. I love giving the girls things and, like, creating, like, making, like, little bags for them and, like, making sure they have snacks at, like, practices or stuff like that. So I was like, that's really cool. And I think it's a fun way for, like, parents to, like, stay involved, because usually when there's just, like, one team parent, everyone else kind of, like, they'll kind of, like, back off or they won't really do a lot of things because, you know, you're kind of reliant on, like, the team parent or, like, the team mom to, you know, do those things and, like, kind of, like, plan them out. But, yeah, they're giving, like, everyone an opportunity to, like, chip in whenever needed and stuff like that. So I actually really like that. I'm sorry if I sound, like, a little stuffy still. Like, girl, like, two weeks ago, I had the worst sickness, like, ever. Like, I feel like I never get sick, like, ever. But this almost took me out. Like, I didn't even have a voice. I couldn't, like, talk, like, higher than. Like, then, like, this. Like, it was so bad. And then I had, like, a really stuffy nose. Like, I was so congested, I was coughing. Like, I didn't have a voice. Like, it was so fucking bad. And I'm like, what the hell? I feel like I'M still a little stuffy. Like, and it's. This is, like, week three already. Because I was sick. It was like, two weeks ago, and I'm still, like, blowing stuff out. Like, I still have so, like, some mucus and shit that I, like, have to get out. Like, I'm like, what the fuck?
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
Like, just go.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
Go away. Like, I hate that. Like, as soon as summer break started, my ass got sick and I was like, please, like, don't do this to me. Like, I never get sick. But then all of a sudden, like, summer hits and, like, good weather hits
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
and I want to get.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
And I get sick. I was so mad.

So, yeah, I'm like, I feel like I'm still fighting off this, like, congestion and I hate that shit. But, yeah, I just really been, like, living life over here. Like we. Oh, we go to Disney in, like, two weeks. Girl, I am nowhere near prepared. I am not prepared yet. Yesterday Janet looked at me. She's like, are you ready for your trip? Like, are y' all ready? And I looked at her. And I was like, no. I was like, I am not ready. So we're gonna be in, like, Magic Kingdom for my sister's birthday. Like, that is, like, her dream. My sister's, like, a Disney adult, so she's, like, so happy that she's gonna be in Disney for her birthday. So we're gonna be there. She wants to, like, watch the fireworks
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
at night and everything.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
So gonna. We're going to be there basically all day. Then the day after, we're doing Animal Kingdom, which is my favorite. Like, I freaking love Animal Kingdom. Like, the safari, everything. Like, all the rides. Obsessed. Like, I'm so freaking excited. And then we're going to do Epic, Epic Universe, which girl. That is, like, the main reason why I agreed, honestly, to this trip, because I wanted to go there. Like, I really don't care to go to Magic Kingdom, like, anything. Like, I'm not much of a Disney girly, but, like, Nintendo and all that. Like, I was like, oh, yeah, we're going.
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
Like, I.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
As soon as I saw that they did a park with all of that, like, Nintendo and Mario and Luigi, and it's like, it looks just like the video games. Like, it's so cool. It looks so dope. It almost looks like AI. Like, when you see people posting them there, like, on social media, the background looks like AI. Like, it looks fake. It looks so freaking cool. So we're taking the kids, and we're all. We're so excited. Like, we're really excited. And then I have a cousin and that lives in Florida, too, so she's gonna come with her daughter and her son. He just had a baby. He's like. I think he, like. He, like, just turned one. So we're gonna like, be able to meet him, which I'm so excited. I never met. We never met him before. And, yeah, we're gonna be able to hang out with my cousin and everything. So we're actually. We're really, really excited. We're staying in Animal Kingdom, which I just can't wait to, like, look outside and, like, be on, like, the balcony and be able to see the animals. Like, that is, like, my most. I'm most excited for that. But, yeah, girl, I got to get my together. Like, I got to go to Walmart or, like, I got to get, like, my little. I. I went on Pinterest and I started looking up, like, what are some Disney essentials? Like, things that you need? And so I have, like, a whole list of things that I'm going to take with me, like, in My backpack when I go, like a first aid kit, like a fan, I make sure I have like a, a cooling towel. What else? There was like so many, so many little things that I kind of didn't really think about and I was like, okay, this is, is good to have

I got like this really cute little Disney backpack for me to use there and it's like a neutral color so I can use it like all whenever we're in the park for those days. Cuz I figured out, I figured out what I'm going to wear. So like for okay for Magic Kingdom I'm wearing this really cute like it's like a yellow like kind of like a tennis dress but it's like a little like the bottom is like flare like I don't know how to explain
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
it, it's a little ruffly.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
But it looks, it's so cute. Like it screams Disney Princess to me. So the dress is yellow. So the ears that I found, I found these really cute bell ears on Amazon. So cute. So it has like the red rose and then the ears are yellow. And then the next day for Magic Kingdom I got this really cute like ruffled leopard shorts. Like they're like little shorts but they're like ruffled up and they have like the leopard print on them and then the leopard print little ears. So we got that and probably just gonna do like my Crocs too or whatever. I don't know if I should wear sneakers or not because I don't know, I just feel like my. I feel like Crocs are gonna be like the most comfortable. So I'm probably just gonna wear my Crocs. But yeah, super excited about that. I just don't know what the hell to wear to Epic Universe yet. I think I'm just going to wear like red like I might just get like a red skirt and just rock out with like a white top or something. Cuz I don't have anything that's like Nintendo and all the shirts that I've seen are they're like T shirts and they just look like they're going to be hot. Like I need something that's like strapless or like it's like spaghetti strap. I haven't found anything like that. But yeah, that's like the most fun is it has been like trying to figure out what we're going to wear to like the parks stuff and stuff. I know my sister says she wants to do like matching shirts and I'm just like oh my God. I'm not a matching like family. Like I don't do like that. I never really been interested in it. I don't knock anyone who does. I don't care. I think it's cute but I just, I'm not that person. Like I just don't do it. But she was like oh we gotta get like shirts for my birthday for when we're in Magic Kingdom. We still haven't got them yet. So I'm like I don't know if we're still doing that. I gotta ask her. But yeah, it's so funny cuz this is like I think the second vacation that I've been on with my sister so far like since she moved. Oh my God. I'm outside in these two red car car Cardinals just flew by, like, bright as day. Just flew by right in front of. Oh, my God. So cute. Like, I love these birds.
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
I can't. I can't take it.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
I love these birds. But, yeah, I told my sister. I was like, girl, this is the second.
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
Like, we're.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
This is our second vacation so far. And she's like. I know. She's like, it's truly been a blessing that she's moved out here. Like, I feel like we've gotten so much closer. We do so many things together all the time now. I know you guys don't see her a lot on my social media because she's not a social media person. Like, she literally deleted her Instagram and everything. She has. She's been like, instagram list for, like, two years now or a little over a year. And so she's not really on social media. So I don't like to, like, put her on social media like that since she's not on it. So I just respect people's wishes when it comes to that stuff. Especially, like, my family. Like, they're not vloggers. They're not into, like, all the social media stuff. So, you know, you guys don't see them as much as I would love for you guys to see them. But, yeah, I just feel like we went to Puerto Rico. We had such a good time when we all went, like, me, her, Joe, and Shaa. And then now we're all going with the kids. Like, this is our first, like, family. Oh, another cardinal. Oh, my God. It's a beautiful day. I'm so excited right now. I don't know, I just feel like since we're closer, it just makes it easier for us to plan things together. Like, we talk a lot more obviously. Like, yeah, you don't realize like, how much you've missed out on, like, even, just. Yeah. Like, she was three hours away from me in Jersey, but that I never looked at it as, like, oh, it makes such a huge difference until she moved out here. Like, I was like, wow. Like, I kind of really underestimated, like, how, like, the distance between us. Like, I really did, because we're so close. We do so much together now. Like, she was just here yesterday. Like, the kids were in the pool. Like, we're here hanging out. Like, it's a random weekday and we're able to just come to each other's house and chill. Like, we don't gotta wait for weekends to, like, visit each other or, like, do a drive. Like, it's so. It's been so amazing that she's, like, three minutes away from me. I don't know. It still feels so surreal sometimes. Like, it's gonna be, like, two years since she's been down here already, and I just feel like it's been the best two years of my life. Like, I feel like I went through so much. I feel like now I look back, and I'm like, everything had to end, and everything had to. Everything happened the way it was supposed to happen. Like, my sister came, and it was like, everything got better. Like, I was like, that was, like, all I needed. Honestly, I love it so much. I can't wait for us to go on vacation. I can't wait. I have so many videos that I want to do. Like, so much fun content that we're gonna do in Disney. So you guys are gonna see a lot of. A lot of really exciting things coming up, and I can't really talk about it right now, but I promise you, you guys are going to be the first to know. It's. It's pretty. It's really, really, really great. Really great news. Honestly, like, about a month ago, I also started thinking. I'm, like, what do I want to do? Like, as far as my career? Like, I want to. I don't like to stay stagnant. Like, I like to continue to do different things or, like, you know, just, like, pursue different things. Like, kind of stay in my niche, but also, like, try out different stuff. So I actually visited an esthetician school because I really do. I can see myself, like, that being in my future. I was really thinking, like, I would love to get, like, my own studio and, like, be able to, like, really help women with their skincare. Because, y' all know I love. I love all things beauty and, like, put, like, confidence. Like, I love making women. Women feel beautiful and confident and, like, beauty and skin care is, like, my thing. That's my niche. So I told Joe. I was like. I was like, I feel like I would love to, you know, be an esthetician and, like, help people out with their skin, and maybe I can, like, create my own product line. Like, I have so many things that I really want to do and accomplish, and I still have time, girl. Like, I'm only 34 years old, so this is kind of, like, the little plan leading to, like, the bigger plans. But I went and I visited the school, and it was so freaking cool. It's so exciting. The only thing is, like, the schools in Delaware here, like, from where I live, they're all, like, 45 to an hour away. So that's. It doesn't seem like a lot, but like when you're in school all day and then you're getting home at like 6 o' clock at night, like, it's gonna be a very big. It's gonna be something that I really have to like, really focus on and like, you know, things are going to shift in my household. I need to be ready for that. Like, I need to be fully able to like, throw myself into the experience and really do it. So the next class starts in like September, so I have some time. I think it's like September or I could do like October or something. So just taking like the summer. But that's something that I definitely have been looking into. Even, even if I do it this year or next year, whatever. Like, that's definitely like my next step. Like, that's my plan. Plan. How cool would it be if I'm able to like, open my own, like, little, little spa studio and like, you guys can come and like, we can get a facial, we can have girl talk. Like, I, I just really love to connect with women. Like, I love to connect with women one, one on one. And I feel like the best. The times where I feel my best and like have some of the best experience are in like med. When I go to like my med spa and like, I'm so surrounded by all the girls and like the estheticians. Like my, my. I love my esthetician. Like, I love having girl talk with her and like, it's so much fun. And like when I go get my hair done at the hair salon, like those type of environments, I thrive, I feel like I truly thrive in, like, I love it. To be able to like create an environment like that. That's something that I see in my future. So. And it's also going to be fun to like, go to go back to school and like, learn something new. Like, I'm always down to learn something new. I love learning new things. And yeah, I just feel like it's going to be like the best career path for me. So you guys will definitely see that coming for me in the future. That's going to be like the goal, the next step in my career. I feel like the beauty and skin care still goes hand in hand. So I'm still going to do my content creation, still going to be a content creator and still be here for you guys, but then also be able to like, you know, create those connections, like in person person and like build a clientele and like have women who really trust me, you know, and like confide in me. And I love that. Like, I really love that. That's the type of, that's the type of environment that I want to bring to other women. Like when they come into my studio or like they're getting a facial or whether they're getting their eyebrows done, whatever it is, I want them to feel beautiful and safe and like I just want it to be the best time for them. Everyone that follows me, like my demographic, it's so funny cuz I. My demographic on Instagram is like a lot of older women and then on Tik Tok it's a lot of younger girls. So I'm like, that is so interesting to me. But like obviously I post a lot on Instagram. Like I cater more to like my Instagram community and it's not out of like I don't do it purposefully. I think it's just because that's the platform that I started with. Like literally people that I DM with like I've known, I don't, I feel like I don't know them know them personally, but it's this like people that I continuously notice that message me and I talk to them all the time. Like I, I know them already. Like I know their names, I know their picture, like their profile picture. Like I see them and I'm just like, it's so crazy. Like I have so many people that DM me that I kind of like I'm familiar with them and I know them and I'm just like, this is so, it's so cool. But yeah, I've been on there for so long so like, you know, I want to be able to cater to the audience that's growing with me on there as well. And yeah, it's like older women and we're all, you know, we're all get, we're into our skin care, we're into like we just want to age gracefully and beautifully and you know, I just feel like that's where I'm kind of headed with like my content and stuff like that and still being true to yourself and building that confidence and you know, just growing in life with that. Oh, there's a little dragonfly trying to get in to my screened in porch now. But yeah, so I did the tours of the school. I haven't like signed anything. I haven't like, it's. It was just something that I wanted, I wanted to visit first and then you know, gonna like make my decision and like, you know, see when I'm gonna start and things like that. Like, when it. When. When it's right for me, when I feel. And that's something that I feel like I've been doing. Like, I haven't been rushing into doing things or like, I haven't been, like, forcing myself to do things. Like, I just been whatever feels natural to me and whatever feels good. That's what I'm gonna do. Like, that's what I've been doing. And it just feels, like, less stressful when life feels that way. Yeah. Just, like, letting things naturally flow to me and letting. Kind of just letting the universe guide me and what. What I'm. What I'm gonna do with this life. Like, there's so much more life to live, and I'm super excited, and I'm just. I'm ready. I'm ready for it all. And I just. I also love that I'm, like, kind of just showing BB too. Like, it doesn't matter what you're doing in your life. Like, you can still progress and you can still, like, you can change things up. Like, you can do whatever. It's your world. Like, you can do whatever you want, you know, as long as it makes sense to you and your family. Like, you can do what you want. Did I ever think I was going to be, like, going back to school or, like, going back to classes at 34, 35 years old? Like, no, if that's what I want to do, then that's what I'm gonna do, you know? And if I want to chase after a. A career or be an esthetician or whatever it is I want to be, like, that's what I'm gonna do. And if that's what's gonna make me happy, like, being able to show her, like, this is something that I have grown myself, and I did it myself. And I'm able to still grow my social media and do this and, like, build a little empire, whatever it is that I'm gonna do with that. Like, I'm glad that I can show my daughter. Like, you can do anything. Like, you can. You're never too old. You're never too young. Like, you're never stuck somewhere. Like, I don't ever want her to feel like she's stuck somewhere or, like, she can't change careers or, like, do the, you know, like, obviously, you know, think you have to think things through and think about, you know, the risk that you're taking and stuff like that and make sure that it's worth it. But I don't know, I feel like to me, like I. I'm always someone that I just. Just like when I take the risk. I know I always. I never regret it. Like anything that I've ever done and I was like kind of scared about it at first. Like I end up. I never regret it after.

So I really want to raise BB and like show her that like as a. Because I also feel like as women we get put into this these boxes you know like you have to be just wife and your mom and like those are the main things that you have to focus on. Like sometimes they expect you to just put yourself in the back burner and not grow as a person as just as just you. I don't agree with that. I've never Agreed with that. You know, like, I've always been someone that's like, yeah, I can be a mom and I can be a wife, but I'm also a bad, and I'm also a smart ass and I'm also, I can do whatever the I set my mind to. Like, I'm someone who, if I want to do something, I'm gonna do it. I'm creative and I have all these ideas in the world, you know, Like, I'm so capable and I know that about myself. And I think more women need to start thinking about that as themselves because as women, we are like, we are so much more capable than what we think sometimes. And we, we are the ones sometimes that put ourselves in that box. Like, it's like, we'd be like, damn, can I really do this? Or like, am I, am I really gonna succeed in this? Like, yes, yes, you will. If you're putting yourself, you're putting, you're putting your all into the experience and you're learning from it and you already have it in your mind. Like, I'm gonna succeed. Like, this is, this is gonna be it. You're already there. Like, you know, like, I feel like you have to, you have to go into these things with like a positive mindset because if not, you're already, you already failed keeping me in a positive mindset so that the things that I do want to do and accomplish, like, I know I'm going to fucking do them, you know, And I don't need any negativity. Like, I try not to let any negative or like outside opinions like, deter me from doing what I want to do ever, ever, ever, ever in life. I'm just never going to let anyone tell me what I can and can't do, you know? But yeah, right now really focusing just on family and this and, and content creation. And I'll be back on the podcast. We're getting through summer and I'm, I gotta get through this Florida trip. Jesus. I don't, I'm trying to think of what else we have planned for the summer. I don't think we have like anything else really. I know we're planning my, my mom's 60th birthday in September. Like, I can't believe my mom's gonna be 60. But we're doing like a whole like a cute ass theme. Like the, the theme is aging. Like find one wine. So it's going to be like wearing burgundies. And that's perfect because it's like the beginning of fall. So I'm so excited. Like it's going to be so nice and we're doing it here. We're going to have my aunts here and like some family here. So that's going to be like a really cool party. So obviously I'll bring you guys along with that too whenever we get started planning and everything. And I'm going to be. I'm going to be 35 years old, which is crazy. But I'm not going to do anything crazy this year because we have to put plan like my mom. Me and my mom are like two days apart. So that'll kind of probably be my. I'll use that as my little birthday celebration too because it's gonna be a party anyway, so. But yeah, the main focus will definitely be my mom because she's gonna be six years old and she deserves a beautiful celebration of life. And yeah, we just wanna, we wanna give her a huge celebration. My, my. My stepfather Chori, he's like, here, take my card. Like get whatever you get, whatever y' all need for us to make this like the best birthday for her ever. So that's what me, mommy, my sister just been like trying to. Well actually once we come back from Florida, we're gonna like, we gotta really like lock in and we're gonna be like planning everything. But yeah, that's something else that we're like really looking forward to when we're super excited about that. So yeah, I guess this was just like a little update. There's not so much going. I feel like there's so much going on, but then there's also like nothing. I don't know how to explain it. Do you ever feel like that in life where it's like so much is going on and you have so much. Like I literally today I have to like clean up the house. I have to clean this, this little space up here that I'm out. Like me and Joe got to pick up food and stuff. Like I feel like there's so much more planning that I have to do and cuz my mom comes down tonight, but I have so much that I have to do and I have to like clean up and stuff like that. But yeah, there's always like so much going on, I feel. And I'm always like moving and grooving and hustling like the hustle and bustle and it's crazy. And then I know Janet is probably gonna hit me up in a little bit because she wants me to go with her to TJ Maxx. So I'm trying To get everything done before she's done with work so that I can go with her to TJ Maxx. Because I want to go shopping. Like, I am a tj. I'm a maxinista.
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
Okay?
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
I'm a maxinista now. And let me tell you, I've never shopped at TJ Maxx as far as clothes. Like, I shopped there, I think like a couple weeks ago and I found so much for like 100 and I think like 150 bucks. I bought so many pieces, like two like sets. I bought like three sets. I bought some tops, like really cute stuff. I got like this really good body spray. I bought French pins for my hair clips, like so much. Good, good. Like comfy shorts. But like the top tops are screaming like Latina summer.
Podcast Host (Sponsor Ad Voice)
Like, I love it.
Podcast Host (Main Speaker)
Like the florals and like the colors. Like, I. I love it. I'm obsessed. But I didn't know TJ Maxx got down like that. Like, as far as the clothes, I was like, wow, I love this. And honestly, like, I get through. I don't really like shopping at like Marshalls and Ross. And I. I think also because like when I was in Jersey, everything is always so messy. Like, it's so bad. But like out here they don't keep their stores like that messy like that. Like they're really be on top of their stores and stuff. So like, I've been to Ross before, but also didn't really find much there. But like, TJ Maxx really threw me for a loop. And I was like, oh, I'm going back. Like, I love shopping there now for clothes. Like, I love it. Like, I used to just do like, I would go in there for like beauty stuff and like home stuff. Like, I really like the home decor and everything. Like for Halloween and all that. But now I'm just like, I love shopping for clothes there. Like, everything is so affordable and like cheap and like, girl, like, I gotta save my coin because we ain't. You see how these prices been lately? Like, I'm not playing. Like, I literally have. I've been putting myself on a budget. Like, I have not been trying to go to like stores that I know that are super expensive or anything. I'm like, I like for instance, like Bath and Body Works. Their candles are like 25 bucks. But those are like my favorite candles. But they were have like their semi annual sale the other day or whatever and they had them for like $7. So I went and got. There was like a select few. Like, there were. It Wasn't like all the scents that I like, but I was like, you know what, I'm gonna take advantage and I'm gonna go. So I've been hitting up sales. I've been just, I've been like, literally I've been saving so much money and it's the same, like I'm getting the same quality of the candles. Like I'm, I'm getting scents that I like, newer scents that, that I like, but I'm saving so much money and I'm just like, it's the little things that you do. Like you have to just do these little, little things. And yeah, like when I go to Walmart and stuff, I try not to. If I don't need to go to like the, this, the clothes section, nothing. I just avoid it. Cuz I'm like, girl, I got enough clothes. Like I don't need to be spending money on clothes. Every time I go to Walmart, I'm walking out of there with like new sets or like new shoes or new clothes or like a new top and I'm like, I don't, I don't need it. Like, I really don't. I just be, I'll be. I'd be having a shopping problem. Like I really need to put myself in time out. That's all it is. So I put myself in time out and I just been doing that and yeah, because I also like, I'm like, I need to. I got this Disney trip coming up, so I know I' ma spend money there. Like, I know I' ma spend money. So yeah, I've been doing really good and like putting myself on a little budget and like whenever I don't need anything, like I'm like, there's a difference between like needing something and like wanting something, something. And most of the time the that I buy is cuz I want it, you know. So I'm like, girl, you gotta think smarter. You know, Think smarter than that. So making these like little changes and I feel like I'm able to save a lot more money and like have it go to things that we actually need, you know. But yeah, I'm gonna end this episode here and it was so nice to catch up with you guys. Next week Vivi will be on so you'll be able to hear from her. And then I, at some point I really want to talk about Love island because girl, we gotta talk about Love Island. Like there's so many new shows that we got to talk about off campus. There's so many shows that I've been watching that. I'm like we have to talk about it. So I love you guys and we'll be back next week with an all new episode and thank you guys for being here. Thank you guys for rocking and rolling with me and always understanding and just, you know, knowing and understanding that I'm human. And you know, I know you guys are little cheesmosas just like me. So we're gonna keep the Cheese My corner going. We'll be back next week and I love you guys and I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
