I don't know if she knows, but, like, where I. Where I'm from and, like, where I feel, like most people that hear you good, like, that's you trying to check me. Like, that's not you genuinely asking me, like, are you okay? Like, that's different. Like, are you okay? Are you feeling okay? She could have, like, said something like that, but she said, you good. I love me some tea. So get comfy because the chisme starts now. Hi, Cheese mosas. I'm so sorry I haven't had an episode for you guys the past couple weeks. I really had to take a little step back a little, I guess you would say a little mental health break from podcasting. I also had a ton of stuff going on. Like, baby had, like, her last cheer competition, and cheer was, like, taking up a lot of time. But we're finally done with that. I am finally getting back into the groove of work, life, motherhood, life, balance. Like, I don't know. I feel like I'm constantly trying to balance the two, and it just. It never gets easier. But I'm sorry that it's on me, but, yeah, I'm sorry if you guys are mad at me or upset or like, where the is this, where the this been? Like, I'm sorry I've been, I've been here just going through all of, all of the motions of life and you know, the craziness of it all. But I'm back and there's so much to update you guys on. I don't even know where. I don't even know where to begin, girl. Like, it's been, it's been a plethora of events, but nonetheless, everything has been pretty good right now, I think overwhelming, but like in, in a good way, you know, like there's overwhelming where it's like too much and it's like stressful and everything. But then for me this has been overwhelming as just is like, I feel like there's been a lot of things happening like back to back to back to back event wise and just like a lot to keep up with, you know. But we. Mother's Day weekend was this past weekend and I got absolutely spoiled. And I mean I, I feel like I get spoiled all the time, especially by Joe. He's a very, very good partner. Like he understands my needs and my wants and he's just very, he's very like emotionally in tune with me. But Mother's Day, he always makes me feel like ten times more important. Like, I don't know, it's just. He does a really good job at that. And I actually just got the ninja slushy machine. He finally bought it for me. I've been, I've literally been like, like wanting to pull the trigger on it for so long, but I just can't. I can't come to terms with like spending 300 on something that I wasn't sure if I would be like using it as often, you know. But he finally pulled the trigger for me and got it for me for Mother's Day because it has. It was on my Christmas list last year. So when I saw it, it was so funny because my sister had came over, right? And this, this was hilarious. She brings in my packages because whenever she comes, she comes in through the front door. She has her own key, whatever, whatever. You know, that's my sister, of course she's gonna have a key to my house. So she comes in, right, and she brings all the packages, whatever. So I'm assuming that the packages are for me, right? Like, I'm like, okay, she's giving me these packages. They gotta be mine. And especially like 90 of the packages we get are usually PR. Like, it's my Amazon stuff. Like, Joe doesn't. He gets, like, one package maybe every, like, a few days, and I get one, like, almost every day. So she's bringing stuff in for me, and I just start opening them, and then there's an Amazon package. And I'm talking to her, like, we're having a conversation. So I'm not really looking. I'm not looking at the name or anything. I'm just opening packages. Like, I'm just going at it. So we're talking, and I'm distracted. So I'm opening the package, and I pull out a book, and it's a Ninja Slushy when you're making, like, alcoholic drinks, basically. So it says, like, Ninja Slushy alcohol or something. I don't know. Something like that. And I'm, like, looking at it, and I look at Jess, and I'm like, get the out. Like, I look at her, and I'm just like, get the out. And she starts laughing. And Joe is, like, in the living room. I think he's, like, watching something around his phone. And I'm like, babe, I just opened your package by mistake. And mind you, there is also a huge package in the front. She goes, there's a really big package in the front, but I'm not bringing that in for you. Like, y'. All. Y' all can bring that in on your own. So I start to put two and two together, and I'm like, oh, shit. And then the other day, too, Joe was like, oh, don't look at the package that comes in for you. Like, just try not to look at, like, any big packages, because I'm not sure if it's coming in another box or if it's gonna have, like, the. Like, what it is on the box. You know how sometimes Amazon will mask it with, like, another box, but sometimes they'll just send you the box and you can see what it is. So he was like, just try to avoid, like, looking at the packages in the front until I can get it. Whatever. So my. My wheels are going. And I'm like, oh, my God. I'm like, he got me the Ninja Slushie. Like, why else would he buy this book? So then he comes into the. The kitchen, and we are just cracking up in my. He's like, this is. He's like, yo, why are you opening up my packages? Like, what the hell? Like, I basically ruined the Mother's Day surprise. And he's like, this is why I can't get you things, because you either get it out of me because I'm always like, give me a hint. Give me a hair. Or, like, tell me what it is. Like, I'm just so bad with gifts and stuff. And he was like, damn. But then we hand. He was like, you know what? Let me just bring it in. So he brought it in, and I had posted on Instagram, like, me a picture of me, like, holding it and everything. And everyone was like, oh, my God. I love how everyone. When I get something, everyone's, like, excited about it because they know I'm gonna, like. I don't know, it just becomes, like, a thing where you guys were just like, oh, you gotta make this and you gotta make this. And it was just so funny. So we're all very excited that I have a ninja slushie. And then I think it was like, on Tuesday, I had text my best friend, and I was like, yo, like, I just made the best splits spike slushie. Like, I just made a peach Bellini. Like, I'm over here making mimosas. I had these two wine bottles. Because when me and BB Went to Virginia beach, we went to a Walmart over there. And me and Vivi like to go to different Walmarts in different states because I feel like they're just all different. Like, I like to hit up targets and Walmarts to see what everyone has, because I get tired of going to, like, the same places. Like, we only we. I have my Target and my Walmart. I don't have, like, anything else out here. So we just, like, going to different places. And she was like, mom, we have to go. Like, we got to see what they have. So we ended up getting, like, they have wine and beer there and in Delaw. Like, you can't sell wines and beers and stuff like that. We have liquor stores out here, but it's not sold at Walmart. So I was like, wow, this is crazy. Like, I was, like, in heaven. So I got those two bottles, and I was, like, running it through the machine, like, to see if it'll slush. And it came out so banging. So I called my friend up, and I'm like, girl, you gotta come have a. A Bellini with me. And she's like, word. Like, I'm on my way. Like, I'm literally. I just got done working. I'm on my way. So she came, and then, like, 10 minutes later, my sister just comes randomly. Like, she didn't. I didn't even know she was coming. And she comes to drop off, like, a whole thing of books for Vivi. And she's like, yo, what. What the hell? And I'm like, yo, I literally just called her up to come have a drink. Like, you are right on time. So we just sat there. We started. We were just drinking and talking, and it was so freaking good. And then we got the genius idea to put one of my Corona sunbrews in there, because Corona sunbrew is my favorite. Like, if y' all haven't had a Corona sunbrew, it is, like, my favorite drink in the summertime. And I'm not even. I don't really drink beer like that. I'm not like, a. I'm not normally a Corona person, but the Corona Sumbru tastes more orangey. Like, it has more, like, limey. Like, a. A fruity flavor to it. So we put that in there, and it slushed up even better than the wine. Like, it was so bomb. So I'm telling y', all, like, that ninja slushy, if you have it, you use the out of it. Like, I. Today I made frappes, and then I made milkshakes for Vivi. Not, like, a couple days ago, too. Like, we just been. I've been having time in my life, so that was the best Mother's Day gift. And I told Joe. I was like, you've gotten me a lot of things, because he's gotten me a. A ton of things throughout the years. Me and Joe have been together for, like, 15 years, so I'm filled with. With gifts. Like, we constantly are giving gifts to each other for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, birthdays, Christmas, like, Father's Day. There's constant gift giving. But this one, he was like, wow, you. You really wanted this. Like, you could tell. Like, you're genuinely, like, excited for this. And I'm like, yeah. Y' all know I host a lot in the summer, too. Like, we have a pool here. Like, my house is, like, the house of hosting. Like, I bring everybody to my house. My family always comes to my house. Like, I have all the space here for it, so it's just easier for everyone to just come here. And I love hosting. Like, I genuinely like my Latina soul. Like, I feel like I was made to just host my family. Like, there's something so beautiful about being able to have your family come over and, you know, have food that you cooked for them. And I like to just. I like to wait at them. Like, I like to. To give. Here, have a drink. Like, here, take this. Take this. Like, that's just who I am at My core, I'm a host, I'm a hostess, and I just love to have people come into my home and feel, you know, feel. Feel like they're at home. So that's just what I do. And in the summertime, now that I have this machine, like, everybody's going to be coming to my house. They're going to be boozed up, and they're just gonna have a good time. I just bought, like, some pineapple and, like, coconut cream because I want to make pina coladas. This weekend. We just got our pool opened, and it was, like, green as when we first opened it. We opened it two days ago, and then today, Joe couldn't sleep, really, so he woke up at like, five in the morning and just started cleaning the damn pool. And when I went to look at it in the morning, it was, like, blue. So I'm like, oh, my God. Like, and it's gonna be like 90 degrees in a couple days. So I'm like, maybe we'll be able to use the pool. Like, I'm just so excited. I feel like the. I can feel the seasonal depression lifting off of me. I don't know. There's a. There's a point where you get to in the springtime where you're just like, oh, my God. Everything feels kind of light again because winter and depression, like, it does. It just. It does its job. Like, seasonal depression really does its job on me. And once I hit, like, spring, summer, I start to feel like myself again. So, yeah, we'll have our pool open in a couple days, and then next weekend we have Memorial Day weekend. And I'm not doing, like, a huge party. I used to do really big parties and, like, invite everybody and their mother. I don't do that anymore because I feel like I once I stopped reaching out to people to even just come and hang out and come to my house. Like, I never heard from them again. So I was like, why am I going to be reaching out to people to come bring their energy to my house when they don't check on us, they don't look for us. And I know there's like, people, like, are like, oh, that's a little. It might be childish to people, but I don't think so. I think I'm just. I give that same reciprocation as far as friendships and energy and everything like that. And I just. It's. It's like no love lost. But it's like, I just want to celebrate with the people who celebrate with me every day. Like, the People that I would normally call to, like, come over and. And the people that we talk to. And so we invited a few of our friends over that, you know, that we have that with, and not people that I haven't spoke to in, like, two years, three years. Like, literally, if I wouldn't hit them up and be like, hey, I'm having a party, or, like, I'm having something, I would never hear from them. So I'm like, I don't. I just don't want to live my life like that anymore. I just want to be surrounded by intention and intentional people. That's, like a kickoff of the summer. But I got to get my menu together, girl. Like, I. Last year, I. I made this really good salad. It's like a watermelon salad. And so all you put is. You chop up watermelon. What did I put in it? Watermelon, Red onion. So I chopped up some red onion. Cucumbers. Like, you slice up the cucumbers, and I like to slice up my cucumbers really thin. So you slice up the cucumbers really thin, and then you add feta cheese. Like, the feta just brings it all together so damn good. And then I put lemon juice in it, and then I put, like, a little bit of salt in there, so you get, like, the sweet. And then you also get, like, the savory from the onions and the. The feta cheese. And. Oh, God, it is one of the best. Like, it's so simple, but it's such a refreshing salad. Like, I made that shit last year, and everybody was like, girl, like, you got to make this every year. So I'm probably going to do that. And, like, we'll do burgers and hot dogs and stuff. So, yeah, really, really looking forward to a lot of stuff. And what was I going to say? Oh, yeah. So back to, like, Mother's Day weekend. Last weekend, we had Bibi's last cheer competition in Virginia beach, and she got second place. But I'm. I'm so proud. I'm so proud of her. I'm so proud of these girls. Like, I know I've said it a million times on here, but I'm just. They've come so far, and I'm so happy for them. And she's been going to, like, these cheer clinics because she has tryouts on Saturday. So when you guys hear this, she'll be trying out tomorrow to see what new team she's going to be on and stuff. And she's really nervous. She's like, she really wants to be with some of the same girls that she was on her other team with because they got so close. Like, she's so close with those girls. So it kind of. It kind of sucks when you have to, like, go and start, like, on a new team. But I was like, I think a lot of you are still going to be on the same team. So I'm just hoping for that crossing my fingers that she'll still have her girlies with her. But I'm also really happy. Like, I don't have to, like, take her to cheer practice today. Like, I don't, like, you know, we get a little breather in between seasons, so I'm happy. I'm really happy about that, cuz I need it. Yeah, we've been just doing the damn thing, but I'm really proud of her. So we just had a really good time. It was just me and her. Joe was supposed to come, and he really wanted to come, cuz he actually. He loves Virginia beach. And we were gonna, like, do some things out there too, but he had to stay behind with our animals. And I just feel like me and Vivi kind of neat. Like, I don't know, I'm. It kind of worked out. Like, I was, like, a little happy. I was telling him. I was like, as much as I would love for you to be here too, and you know, we love hanging out all. All of us together. Like, I just feel like it was so needed for me and her to, like, just go together and like, I don't know, it was just like a little mother daughter bonding. And he was just like, yeah. He was like, no, you know what? Like, y'. All. I love that for y'. All, Like, y' fun. And we indeed. We indeed had fun. We went on the boardwalk with, like, her coach and all her friends, and I just. I wanted it to be an experience where she, you know, got to hang out with her cheer girlies for, like, the last time and really, like, bond with them and stuff. So I kept in contact with, like, the coach and whoever was, like, doing, you know, whatever people were doing while they were down there. And it was so, so much fun. And I. I loved it. It was really great. Like, anytime I spend time with BB it's just like, my favorite time. You, like, last week, I think I got on

I was, like, talking a little bit on my Instagram stories about how, I don't know, I was just, like, feeling a little off. And it's not depression or anything. It wasn't depression. I think it's just, you know, life can sometimes just be overwhelming and, like, get to you. And I started to feel a little down, and I was like, talking down on myself, which I don't, you know, me, I. I normally do not do that. Like, I lift myself up all the time, the same way I try and lift other people up. And, you know, I have so many beautiful women that follow me and I try and lift them up. And even if I. Even if my crown is falling, I would try and lift y' all crown up all the time. Yeah, I just. I wasn't feeling it. I really wasn't feeling it. It was really taking. Taking a toll on me and I feel like I felt like I had. I was saying how I felt. Like I had this little voice in my head and it was like trying to bring me down and I had to really bury. I had to bury it, be like, you're not. You're not real. Like, you know, and like, you're not gonna. I ain't gonna let the devil, like, come up in here and try and take my joy. Someone actually, she's a. A listener of the podcast and she's a longtime follower of mine. And I asked her actually, because she sent me this amazing dm. Like, it was so beautiful I could cry. Like, I literally, like, got teary eyed when I was reading it. And so many people sent me so many dms and were like, like, the nicest words, like, y' all are just some of the nicest people. And I really appreciated it. But I asked her, I was like, can I read this on the podcast because I feel like not only did it help me, but I feel like it could help anybody else, you know? And she was like, yeah, absolutely. Like, please. So I just, I'm gonna read to you guys what she said because girl, like, it was, it was beautiful. She said, v imposter syndrome is a. As your older 43 year old Prima. I love that. From the Bronx, who's been on an intentional healing journey since around your age, weekly therapy and all, I just wanted to gently and lovingly remind you of a few things. One, the fact that you're even self aware enough to recognize that you've been feeling down lately is already a win. A lot of people suppress their feelings, gaslight themselves out of them, distract themselves, or pretend everything's fine, but not you. You acknowledged it and that's proof of your inner healing work. And girl, yes, that is. It's taken a lot of therapy still in therapy, you know, and she's right about that. Like, it does take a lot of work to get there because I used to be someone who would suppress the out of my emotions and my feelings, but okay. And then she goes too. Feelings are emotional messengers, not life sentences. That's a word she said. And for real, I think you already touched on the root of it when you mentioned fear, which is another because I was basically saying how I feel. Like sometimes fear gets the best of me. Like when it comes to doing things or like stepping outside of, you know, the box that I feel like I'm in sometimes. Like, fear really pulls me back on doing things a lot of the time. And she said that puta will keep us stuck small, playing fake safe and scared to move beyond our comfort zones. Trust me, I'm dealing with her too. At my big age, she's real disrespectful. And then she said, three, please keep investing in little pockets of joy throughout your day. Today's starbies matcha. Tiny moments of comfort and grounding really do matter when life starts feeling heavy. Four, other things that genuinely help consume media that makes you laugh, FaceTime or call your favorite family member, friend, or one you haven't spoken to in a while, throw on a lo fi playlist. And then she actually sent me a chill playlist and it's actually really good. Like, I love it. Or visual soundscape on YouTube while you work, clean, cook, take a hot girl, walk around the neighborhood, let the sun hit your face, feel the wind on your skin, smell flowers, walk barefoot in the grass, which I do. I do that a lot. I love walking. I There's something about having your feet just barefoot as in the grass. It makes you feel so grounded and so good. Sip your favorite drink outside for a few minutes. All those little things help regulate your system, your nervous system, and slowly pull you out of that funk. And then she said 5 Mamita, you've come such a long way from that teenage girl. We all met on Teen Mom 2 all those years ago. Like hello, oh I'm gonna cry. She says you're a bad wife, mom, stepmom, sister, daughter, friend, boss and creator. You built a whole community where people, especially women and fellow Latinas, feel safe, seen, understood and less alone. Why do you think we're all here? That alone just like made me cry. And then she said six if you're leaning into faith right now, keep leaning. God hears you even when the prayers aren't eloquent. Sometimes all we got is tears, exhaustion, confusion, or yo help me Lord. And he still understands. One thing I've learned is that faith is really about trusting while you wait. And waiting is hard as, but sometimes we're being redef, sometimes we're being refined during that waiting period so we can properly handle what's next. And then she said seven Let me put you onto this app that's genuinely helped me. It's called Finch. She said it's basically a self care mental awareness app where you take care of this cute little finch by taking care of yourself. You set daily goals like drinking water, showering, stretching, breathing exercises, journaling, cleaning, going outside, etc and as you complete them your bird grows, goes on adventures, gets outfits, furniture and sends you encouraging little check ins. It sounds small but it honestly helps a lot when life is lifing and your brain feels overloaded. Plus the free version is actually good and she said anyway, sorry for the novella. I just generally genuinely felt called to speak life into you a little bit and finesse it with some psychology and faith mixed together. Life is definitely life and like a right now. Trust me, I'm in the trenches too. But we bad and we gonna through it even if right now it's one minute at a time. Do your best with the mental, emotional and physical capacity you currently have because that is enough. Remember this too shall pass. Amit Linda Bezos oh my God I love you. I love you so much. I'm not going to put like her name out there or anything but she is literally like I talk to her a lot on dms. Like she's just literally one of those supporters that I'm Just like, I don't know what I would do without her. And to me, that was like, the fact that she took her time out to write that whole novella to me, like, I was just like, girl, like, that is so sweet, you know? Like, you really took your time out to just help little old me. And I really want to try out that app Finch, because it sounds so cute. I never downloaded it, but I did listen to the playlist she sent me and it really helps, like, even just in the car, because I feel like sometimes I get so sick of like, the that's on the radio and like, I don't know, things are so overplayed and I'm just Bad Bunny need to come out with a new album because I'm so tired of listening to this album. Mama repeat already. Like, I. I can't do it anymore. Like, I need new music, but this one is like, it's just chill. Like, it's just so laid back and chill and it puts me, like, in a good mood. It kind of like resets me. But yeah, I feel like if any of y' all needed to hear that, like, now is the time. So I hope you guys can resonate with that and it helps you in any way. Okay, but going on a totally different tangent here. Have y' all seen the Roast of Kevin Hart on Netflix? Because first of all, what the was that? Like, listen, we've all seen roasts. We've seen roast before. Like, I know what to expect when I see a roast, right? Like, I get it. I know what they are. I know they're supposed to be offensive and like that. But this roast, like, and I saw someone talk about it on Tick Tock. Like, people have been making videos about this and, like, putting so much together. So I don't know, maybe I'm just consuming too, too much of it and looking too deep into it. But honestly, I was feeling a lot of those things before. So I'm like, I feel like it's just confirmin what I'm feeling and like everyone's seeing the same as me and I'm not going crazy. It felt like a humiliation ritual more than anything. And it was a bunch of people, I think, getting a pass to be racist as getting a pass to read black women for filth embarrass people. And it was disgusting. Like, I. It was, it was bad. It was bad. And I'm someone who, like, I. I'm not like a full blown fan of Kevin Hart, but I don't mind him. Like, I watch his movies. I Watch his. Whenever he has a comedy special on Netflix, I watch it, you know, Like, I do. I like him. Like, I find him funny, corny sometimes, but overall, like, I don't mind him, you know, but this was. It just felt so weird. Like, have. You guys have to let me know if you watched it and if you felt the same way, because I just. I felt this weird feeling the whole time watching it. And I almost felt embarrassed, too. Like, for. For him and even the people there. Like, Regina hall was there, and girl, her face said it all. Her face said what we all were, like, feeling and thinking. I feel like it. And usually I feel like when you see her with Kevin Hart and you see her around all of, like, them as a. Around their friends and stuff, it did not look like the Regina hall that we normally see. Like, she wasn't funny and, like, bubbly and, like, laughing. Like, she was like. Like this the whole time, bitch. Like, she. This was her face.

You know when you see a woman do that face, she ain't with it. She was not with it. And what's her name was there. Tiffany Haddish. Tiffany Haddish was there. And I just. I. It was weird to me because I. I thought we were gonna see her either roast him because she's, like, pretty close to Kevin Hart and all of them, right? I thought she was gonna get up and roast or, like, be acknowledged. No one acknowledged her, like, at all. It was so weird. And it's like Kevin Hart was sitting on one side with a bunch of people, and then there was the other side with all the comics, too. Pete Davidson was there. Lizzo was there, which was mad random, actually. That fucking bigot. What's his name? That comedian was there. I don't even. I don't care to know his name, Honestly. There was a ton of bigots there. Like, it was so gross. Like, I was so grossed. I was like. I didn't. Like, why is Kevin Hart hanging out with these people? Number one. Like, they're known to be, like, racist bigots, but, you know, Holly weird and money talks. So I guess I can't be that surprised. But, yeah, she was sitting on that side and, like, nobody acknowledged her. It was almost like she was just given a seat there. Like, here. Like, just to make her happy. Like, here you can sit there, but, like, ain't nobody gonna acknowledge you. It was just weird. And just the vibes were off. Everything felt weird. Everything was racist. Everything was. Like, there were making jokes about literal pedophiles being there. Like, why are we joking about this? Like, it was just gross. It was so nasty. I felt. I literally felt so uneasy the whole time watching it. Like, I watched it in two days because it's three hours. So I had watched, like, an hour and a half, and then I turned it off. And then I was like, I don't know. I was just feeling weird. And then I was like, I watched it. I finished it the next day. Because I was like, maybe I'm just having an off day. I don't know. Like, I'm just not feeling it. But then I really watched the rest of it, and I was like, no, this is the vibe. Like, this is. This is what it is, and it sucks. The only thing that I really liked was Chelsea when she fucking read these white men for filth. Like, that's. That was. That was the main thing that I liked, because they fudgeing deserved it. They are bigots. It was just. Yeah, it was very, very, very weird. And I just feel like I was like, we got to do better. Like, we have to do better. And, like, if this. If of these. The people that Kevin Hart is hanging out with, like, Cat Williams was there, and we all know, like, they even spoke about, like, their rivalry and, like, their beef. And I don't even know. I don't think Kevin even knew that Kevin Hart was supposed to be there. I don't know, because people are saying, like, all this is scripted. Like, obviously, like, there's a Teleprompter there. Like, everything is planned out. Like, the jokes are planned out. People know. They even said it, like, oh, I had to. You know, I told her about this joke, whatever. Like, one of the female comedians there, she's a black woman. She. I lost her husband, like, by suicide. And they were, like, joking about that so much. And, like, the. The tough skin that you have to. Have to just sit there and laugh about that. It couldn't be me. Like, it just couldn't be me. I would be fighting with all those men. Like, I don't care who the you think you are. I don't think how. However funny you think you are. Like, that's just not. I don't know. It's just the way they just kept talking about her dead husband. I was like, girl, like. Like, are you really okay with this? Like, I don't know. It was just really weird and racist. Like, that's how I felt about the whole thing. Like, it was just. It gave me such a bad taste in my mouth, and I just didn't like it at all. I really, truly feel like it was a humiliation ritual to Kevin Hart. But, yeah, what's his name? Cat Williams was there and everything he was saying, like, it was not a joke. He was not joking. He literally was basically like, I'm the only one in here with a soul. And I. I, cat 100 met every word that he said up there about Kevin Hart. Y' all have to. It was. It was wild. It was wild. And then at the end, Kevin Hart goes up to him and he's like, you know, let's. In front of everybody right here, like, let's squash the beef. And it's just like, they did end up, like, hugging and shaking hands. But you could tell. You could tell in Cat Williams face that he was just like, all right, But I still don't. I still ain't with you. Like, we could squash this beef, but I ain't with you ever. Like, it was so obvious. It was painful. It was so painful to watch and. But, you know, he had Meek Mill come out at the end. I don't know. I don't know if that didn't save it much either, but it was just weird. It was weird. It was three hours of just. Just public humiliation and racism. Like, it was just bad. And I was like, boy, they are bold as to put something out like this, especially in this climate right now. And, no, this is not. This is not people being sensitive or anything. Like, this was straight up, like, up, like, it was Bad vibes all around. Like, I'm not being sensitive or anything. Like, this was literally giving white people a free chance to be racist as and like say the N word and like do like, it was just. That's what it was giving. And I'm like, where. Like, why we gotta. We gotta do better than this. Like, this is not. It wasn't entertaining for me at all. It was. I was like watching it like this the whole time. Like, I was just. It was very gross. Like, I don't know how else to explain it. It just felt really gross. I wish I could take my watch back. Like, I'm like, I just wanna. I just want to grab and take my watch back. Like, you can't. You can't have my watch, my view. And then, I don't know. You guys know I'm like a Love island fan and I've been watching the new season of beyond the Villa. What a mess. Mess. What a mess it is. That show is such a mess. And you know, I'm someone obviously, like, I have a background in reality tv. I came out in a TV show. Like people. I know what it's like to have people think they know you based off of editing and like that. So I literally take everything with a grain of salt. I really do. But I got such bad. I got her also. I also got a bad taste in my mouth watching that show because I feel like a lot of the characters that I really liked before, I kind of like was side eyeing them now and I was just like, oh. Like, I don't know if it's bad editing or if this is just who you are. Like, I don't know, it's just so bad. But Amaya, Iris and what's her name, Hannah, are getting such a bad rap right now, especially on Tick Tock. Like people are going in on them because Bella, if you guys remember, like, I feel Bella started with the original, original cast. Like she was the og, one of the OG people on Love Island. Like, she was a. She's not a casa girl, you know, like, she came in with all the other. The villagers, so. And she was there for a few days. Like, they act like Bella was only there for like a day. Like she was there for a pretty good amount of time. Yes, she got kicked off pretty early, but she was there forming friendships and you know, she wasn't. She didn't come in later on as a casa girl. Like, I feel like you can tell the divide sometimes between the casa girls and the village, but yeah, so Bella and Grayson And Coco are like Grayson and Coco are from Casa. Like they're Casa girls. They came in as casa girls. So they're all really cool. And Bella was just constantly talking about how there's a divide, which is obvious. Like, you know, like. And I feel like that can be natural sometimes. Like sometimes you just gravitate more towards other people when you go through an experience with them and stuff. And even though Bella was on was like an original like islander, the other girls just had I think just like a longer, more extent experience together, you know. So they're all really cool. Like Amaya Clark, even Andrena, Iris, Hannah, they're all really close. Hannah I like. Hannah and Iris seem to be like besties. And even Jeremiah, Jeremiah be hanging out with the girlies. Like he, Jeremiah is like he be getting trashed on Tik Tok. But I don't know, I. I just, he makes me laugh like cuz he's just there. Like he's just, he wants to be one of the girlies so bad. So it's just like let that man be. Like it is what it is. But the girlies were like, yeah. Like it just became this whole thing about like Bella being like, you know, we just get looked at like it's like high school, you know, like when you look at girls and you're like, you can't sit with us. Like that's what she was getting from like Iris and Hannah and. And I could definitely see that. Like I could definitely see that. I don't feel like they were even trying to include these girls in like anything, any conversations, nothing. Like it was like these three were on their own, you know, you would think like they didn't even know these people. Like it was just weird. Like you don't have to be besties, best friends telling each other every secret, but like acknowledge each other, you know, like acknowledge these women. It felt very high school, very childish, very mean girl. Like you clearly just like peaked in high school. That's what it was giving and I just, I don't like it. I just felt really icky. And I love Bella. Like I feel like Bella is just such a cutie. She's just a cutie patootie and she's just genuinely a kind person. Like when she was talking to Iris, like that whole thing with TJ and Iris and Pepe, like they got into it and like Pepe really redeemed himself number one. Pepe really redeemed himself and I feel like TJ and Iris were trying to like gaslight him a Little bit. And they try to gaslight a lot of people into thinking that he was the problem. And he came with, like, his receipts and his phone. And Iris is sitting there like, my phone is dead. And then they caught a screenshot of her phone being on. But these are the things that you have to take with a grain of salt because she could have went and, like, had her phone charged or that could have been before she said her phone was dead. You know, it's all about editing, which is why sometimes I'm like, I don't focus so much on little things like that because there's been times where I have filmed something and they'll put it in before or after other. A mix in words from another scene into this scene. And it's like, I didn't say that in that conversation. Like, it's so weird. So it's like a. I don't know. It's just so weird for me to watch reality because I know how it works. So I was just like, I don't know. I'm trying to give everybody grace, but right now I'm very much like, I think Iris and Hannah, they really need to check themselves. They need to, like, come back down to reality. And, yeah, I just feel like I. I feel for the girls. Like, the other girls. And then they all went on this, like, ski trip and stuff. And first of all, I love Taylor and Clark. I love them, which is funny because I wasn't so much of a fit. Like, I like them, but I wasn't, like, so much of a fan of them. I always liked Clark. Like, I think she's that girl, and she's just so. I just love her. But you see. You see more of her personality and her and Taylor's relationship in this show. And I love them. Like, I just love them. And I hope they make it. And I hope, like, they do everything that they're set out to do together because they're just so cute together. And you can tell that they really love each other and that they. They go about their relationship with intention. With intention of actually being together for the long run. And I love that about them. So I really liked getting to know them and, like, really watching them. And there was a point where Taylor, like, he's at. He's in school to be a vet, and he had, like, all these finals. Yeah, like, three or four finals. And he ended up coming and, like. Like surprising Clark at the ski trip event. And it was so cute. Like, it was just so genuine. Like, I was just like, oh, like, I love that for them. They've grown on me. They've grown on me so much. And then I'm trying to think of all the big stuff. Like, okay, so the girlies, like, Iris and Hannah ended up getting into it with Bella, Coco, and Grayson. Well, not getting into it, but they ended up having a conversation because they were playing, like, charades or whatever. They had to, like, imitate another islander or whatever. And of course, Hannah's ass goes up, and she imitates Grayson, and she's doing, like, this country accent. And she was just like. I don't know. It was just so weird. Like, you could tell she was being very mean girl when it came to her. Like, I don't know what she got against Grayson. Like, she's just. You could tell she don't like the girl, and it's like, girl, like, what? Grayson was just looking at her. Like, everyone was just looking at her. Like, okay, so then when it was Grayson's turn, she was up there with Charlie, which I love Charlie. Charlie is so funny, and he's just. We need to protect Charlie at all costs. I love Charlie. He's one of my favorites, honestly. Like, I feel like the boys have become some of my favorites. Like, I really like. I like Brandon. I like. Well, not Brandon. What's his name? Brian. Yeah. I was just like, I. It was just so funny because they got up there and they started, like, trying to do, you know, their. Their charade, whatever. They're trying to play the game. And then Hannah looks at Grayson, and she's like, grayson, you good? Like, mad weird. Like, who are you talking to? Like, to me. I don't know if she knows, but, like, where I. Where I'm from and, like, where. I feel like most people that hear you good, like, that's you trying to check me. Like, that's not you genuinely asking me, like, are you okay? Like, that's different. Like, are you okay? Are you feeling okay? She could have, like, said something like that, but she said, you good. Like, she kept asking her that. She was like, are you good? Like, you good? You good? Grayson, like, trying to check her, and everyone's so confused. Like, Charlie was. His face was so funny. He was like, like, what? He was like, what the. Like, and they didn't even do what they went up there to do anymore because she ruined the whole thing. So then after that, Grayson's like, yo, I gotta call a meeting. Like, where's my girls at? So they go down and they go to talk, and then here come Iris and Hannah. So then they all start talking and they finally told them like, yeah, it feels very like high schoolish, basically. Like, y' all don't pay us no mind, we don't have to be best friends. But like, and it's just weird because Bella and Iris had a friendship. But then I guess I think I, I think Iris is just mad because Bella still hangs out with Pepe. Like she, I mean she even said she's like, I don't have like a friendship with, like I don't hang out with him all the time. Like they film together. Like she even, I think she turned down like a, an a twenty thousand dollar deal for Amaya at one point or something. Or I don't know if it was Iris. I don't know, it was just weird. But I'm like, girl, she turning down deals and like that is crazy to me. But Iris was just basically telling her like, no, like you, you don't know girl code. Like she kept throwing around this girl code. And to me I'm just like, why does she owe you loyalty and why are you expecting girl code from her? So heavy when you can't even reciprocate. Like you don't reach out. Like Bella was made it very clear, she doesn't reach out to me, she doesn't try and hang out with me. Like we all live in la. We all live, I live literally right next to all of them. She doesn't hit me up to hang out, nothing. Like I would be the one to like hit her up in hand. But obviously someone get, people get tired of that. Like if you're, if it's not going to be reciprocated, I get it. Like I'm not going to be pushy to be your friend, you know. So she kind of just fell back and she was like, yeah, and we just stopped talk, like kind of just stopped talking and she's, you know, that's just what it was. But in Iris's eyes, like the way she was talking about it is like, girl, you still not. Like, we still friends. Like, how are we not friends? And it's like, girl, if, if we don't hang out and we don't talk, we're not friends. Like that's not, that's not a friendship, you know. So Bella was like, really? She was making valid as points. Like I remember just listening and I was just like, like, get a Bella, let her know, like, you're not a friend, you're not a friend. So you just expect this blind loyalty from me when you treat Me? Like. Like, you treat me like I'm not even there. You, like, you know, and she was basically like, you know, there's two sides to every story. Like, there's your side and there's Pepe sign. She's like, whoa. Like, what do you mean, two sides? Like, it's like Iris is. She was just being. I think she's very delusional in the fact that she just feels like people owe her disloyalty. And, like, you can't believe anything Pepe says, and you can't believe his story, and you can't. How dare you want to get his side of the story? And it's like, well, there's always two sides of the story, and then somewhere in between, there lies the truth. Like, I'm gonna make my own decisions based off of that, you know? And I think that's just what Bella was trying to say, you know? Like, I wanted to. I heard your side. I wanted to get Pepe's side. And she right away was just like, no. Like, I'm not with that. You don't need his side. And it's like she forgets that Bella is also part of this experience, and she has these. She has relationships with all these other people, too. Like, and if you're not going to be a friend to me, I'm not going to just give you blind loyalty and cut everybody off because you want me to. Because then she'll be friendless. Friendless as. Because it's not like Iris is reaching out to her to have, like, to. To hang out. And then Amaya, I don't know, she's just. I feel like she's so different than what we saw on. When she was in the villa. Like, it's just. It's like night and day kind of. And I was just like. I don't know. I honestly start. I'm starting to think, like, she really just got sympathy votes, and it sucks, but I feel like that's what it was. Like, I really do feel like she got a lot of sympathy votes, and now everyone's kind of just coming around to, like, who she's. Who she is, because she was being really weird girl. Like, her and Brian squashed the beef. They talked about. And from what I'm seeing, I was just like, okay, we all saw the same thing. Like, they went on this. This one trip together. The first time they all got together, you know, they were cool. Like, they even. They went up to each other. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and was like, oh, hey, love this was after they squashed everything and had a talk. And we're like, okay, we can be. We'll be cordial, like, in rooms together. Like, I know we had a relationship. We didn't work out, whatever, but we all have the same friends. We all have to learn how to be around each other. Basically. She. She goes. And, like, they show a clip. And I remember she goes up to him, says hi to him, give him a kiss on the cheek. Because that's what we do. We're Latinos. Like, we. That's how we greet each other. We give a. A kiss on the cheek or a, hey, what's up? You know, like, that's just how we are. She goes, hey, love. Kisses him on the cheek. And mind you, she still has a boyfriend. This is. She's still with her man. Now all of a sudden, they're on this ski trip, right? And he's the worst thing to walk this earth. Like, it's just such a 360. Even. He. Like, we all caught whiplash watching that because it was just so weird in. And so him and Chris walk in, which is like, I. I can't stand Chris. I'm not even going to talk about Chris. I. I never could stand him, honestly. But Brian goes in, he says he's saying hi to everybody. He goes in to just kiss him on the cheek. And she's, like. She's, like, throwing herself around, like. Like. Like, if he's trying to go kiss her or something. And she makes this whole big deal, like, boundaries, like. So, yeah, Brian's looking around like, what the just happened? Because we were just good. I even think I. Iris was, like, trying to make it seem like something it wasn't, like, telling tj, like, in. To, like, kiss her and, like, he don't need to be. And TJ's literally checking her, his own girl, which good on him because she. I feel like she. I get it when that's your girl and that's your friend. Like, you know, you want to. Like, you want to hold your friend down. Like, my girl. I'm going to support her rights and her wrongs. I get it. I get it. But it really was not like that. Like, and TJ's like, he was like. They literally just said hi to each other in Palm Springs. Like, what's the difference? Like, he just went in to say hi to her. Like, she was making this big deal. So then when they're, like, going down the slopes, Brian's like, hey, can I pull you for a chat? Which I think Is so funny that they still use that outside of the villa. Like, oh, my God, can we retire that phrase? It's just too much. But he was like, can we have a chat? And, like, y' all let me know what y' all thought about this, because I just feel like the whole time, Maya was being so condescending and, like, just rude and. And I was just like, where did this come from? Like, who is this little Maya? Who is this person? Because, like, I don't know. The energy she was giving him was really off and weird. And I'm like, did something happen in between then? But every. People are asking. He's like, nothing. Like, I haven't even seen her or spoke to her, like, since then. Like, nothing has happened. Like, we squashed it, and that was supposed to be it. So he's just as confused as we are. And she's just like, you're the one here pulling me for a chat. Like, I just feel like I need to. We need to have some boundaries. Like, you don't need to be kissing me on my cheek. And, I mean, he's like. Like, okay. Like, he's like, that's just like, a culture thing. Like, that's how we say hi. Like, I didn't think it was that deep, you know? And I don't know. My theory is that her man probably maybe heard about it or saw. Like, I don't know. I don't know, because I don't know how he would see that before they filmed all of this. But maybe he just was really like, no, I don't want you hugging him, kissing him, saying hi to him, nothing. Like, I'm thinking maybe that's. That. That happens. And then after that, she was just like, okay, no, I need to put up these boundaries now because I need to make my man happy. I need to make him feel more comfortable, which is like, all right, that's valid. But, like, you don't have to be rude as hell about it. And, like, just being weird. And then you got Jeremiah, of course. Love bombing. Andreina, he is love. He's a love bomber. Like, Ace was so right about him. And everyone was always trying to. Everyone was always trying to act like Ace was the bad guy, but he was right. Jeremiah definitely, like. Like, he. I. You could tell he was definitely like, a love bomber a little bit. And then Andre's like, you either want me or you don't. You know? Like, she's right. Like, don't be sending me all these mixed signals and flirting with me. And apparently, they even Kissed and. But you're not into me. Like, you don't want to date me. Like, out of here. Don't waste my time. That's basically what Adrienne. I was saying. And I, Andrina, I think she's been showing a lot more her personality and I like love her now. I follow her on social media and at first she was one of the girls that I thought was, was so boring and I was just like, oh my God. Like I. She's such a breath of fresh air and she's just so cute. She's just funny as hell. Like she was talking to Clark and she's just like telling her the situation and she's like, she's like, you know, like, like I don't need you to check up on me. Like, why are you checking up on me? Like you're not my man. Basically, like, why are you checking up on me? Like that? Whatever. And then, I don't know, she says something and then she looks at Taylor and she's like, oh, you can check up on me. It was so funny. Like, she's basically like, I, like, you're my friend, you could check up on me. The way she said it was so funny and that like really got me. Like, that was the one thing I bust out laughing when she said that. But yeah, I really, I'm really liking Andrea like a lot. But I don't know, I feel like I was more into this, this season than the last season they had of beyond the Villa. Like I think the last season like they were good in the villa. Like I like their season more in the villa. But the after the Villa show, like I like this season more. Like there was just, there was a lot of drama. It was really juicy so I was really pulled in. But you just got to see a lot of their characters a lot more. I love Coco. I think she's a queen and she needs to stop fucking with these corny ass dudes. It's go time. And at aaa, we're here for it. Liberty. Liberty. That's the. She needs to get her a man who is actually playing ball overseas. Like, that's. That's what she needs. Chris plays too much. Like, he plays too much, and I just don't like him. I don't take him seriously. I think he's not. The way he was going on about how Coco, like, she's raised by, you know, her dad raised her a certain way, and, like, she expects princess treatment. And, like, obviously, that's how I'm gonna raise my daughter, but basically, like, I don't want to date someone like that. Like, make it make sense. Like, I don't. He's like, oh, I wanna. I wanna be with a queen. Not someone who's, like, chasing princess treatment. Like, boy, shut the up. You can. He wants to be the princess. That's what it is. He wants to be the prize. He's one of those. He thinks he's the prize in the relationship, and Coco's not. Think. Don't fall for the propaganda, Coco. Go, like, let him do what the he needs to do. I hear, I hear, and I hope it's true that she's dating Charlie now or, like, they have something, and I just feel like they would be so cute together. I, like, I love Charlie. Like, Charlie's, like, one of my favorites, honestly. I love him, and he deserves better justice for Charlie, honestly. But I think they would be such a cute couple, so I'm hoping that they are. But yeah, I was just, like, also, like, do. Does everyone just date each other in. In these circles? Like, I feel like they all live. They're all, like, in la and, like, it's like, y' all can't find, like, other people to date. Like, they're always dating inside the circle. It's crazy. I think it's just very interesting overall to see, like, how you could be on one show and be portrayed a certain way. And then obviously they're on this show now, which is, like, obviously a follow up of Love island, but so different. Like, everybody is so different, and you still start to see people in a different way or, like, see. You know, actually the people who maybe you didn't really see more of. And in the villa, you see more of them now, and you're like, oh, my God, Like, I wish we saw more of that. You know? I wonder if they're gonna do another season, because the way, like, Hannah, Iris, and TJ are getting so much hate right now. Like, it is so bad. So I'm wondering if they will sign up. They probably will, because I don't. I really, genuinely don't even think they care. And I feel like sometimes Hannah plays, like, the mental health card a lot. Like, when she was getting into it with the girls, like, she was like, my talking about her anxiety and that she, you know, lost herself as a person. And it's like, girl, like, I get it. We all have. We. We go through mental health issues, right? But that doesn't give. That's not a pass for me. That's not a pass for you to treat someone like. Or Grayson's literally sitting there crying, like, she's bawling her eyes out, and they're just looking at her like. Like, they just had the most mean girl stank faces on. And it's like, bro, like, just listen to her understand where she's coming from. You know? Like, you go, you guys all share this experience. You all have these. You know, these friendships. Like, why are these girls any different? But I just felt really bad for her because she's, like, telling she wasn't doing anything wrong. She just, you know, she was very. Being very emotional, and Hannah's just looking at her like ill. Like, I don't have time for this. She's like, I have a flight in the morning. And then proceeds to go to her room and kick this. Like, talk to Jeremiah and, like, kick with him. Like, it's just. It's like, girl, you're clearly using the mental health card to, like, avoid accountability. And I just. I don't respect people like that. Like, I just feel like, obviously, protect your peace. I'm all about it. But, like, don't be over here acting like you got anxiety and you don't want to deal with a problem because you got anxiety, but then you have no problem going and, you know, sitting and talking to Jeremiah and, like, talking about it. But I just feel like Bella and them are better off. Like, I don't feel like they're gonna even have genuine friendships with the other girls, even if they tried. Like, I think I love them as a trio. I'm like, y' all need to just focus on your friendship. Like, Coco, Grayson, Bella, like, I'm like, you guys are gems on your own, you know, like, be. You don't need to, like, be celebrated in spaces where you're celebrated. Don't try and, like, force it, you know, like, you don't need to be in these spaces where people don't appreciate you or they look at you like you're a bother or anything. Like, trust me, I've been there. And like, like, I don't put myself in places like that. Never, never, never, never. And I think us as women, that's just, we have to start realizing, like, not everywhere we're going to be celebrating, not every. Some places we're just going to be tolerated. And that's when you have to decide if that's worth your. Your time, your space, your. Your attention, your love, like, your friendship, you know, and it's most of the time, them, nine times out of 10, it's not. It is not worth it. And those are not. Those simply just aren't your people. So I think Bella and them really got a lesson in that. So this might have been overall a good experience for them. The others, not so much. Then these are like 20 something year old. And I just kept thinking, like, yo, like, you have female friendships and issues till you're like, so you're old. Because there's people that, like, I speak to in their 50s, 60s even, and they still like, I, I just went through this. I just went through a friendship breakup, or I just went through this and it's like, it's never ending and it sucks. But as you get older, like, the logical part starts to kick in and you just start to realize, okay, this is. This is not worth my energy. This is not worth my time. Whereas when you're younger, like, you put so much time into a lot of things that really just are not worth it. And like, you fight for things and you're just like, it's wasted energy. But you do that because that's how you learn and that's how you get experience, you know? So then, yeah, when you're in your 30s and when you're in your 40s, you learn not to tolerate that. And then you look at situations like this and you're like, girl, are you fighting for your friendship? Like, are you crazy? Rather than, I think in your 20s, you, like, fight for. You want the friendships and you want to be included. And, you know, you kind of just want that, like, validation, like, hey, am I your friend? The way I think that you're my friend, friend, you know? But as you get older, you just don't give a anymore. Like, you're like, listen, if we ain't cool like that. Like, I feel like the friendship that I have now, I don't. I don't need validation. Like, we know, like, we're here. Like, we. We get it. We get each other. We know we've been through the friendship breakups. We've been through the betrayals. We've been. Been through all of the. The wrongs, the. The being done dirty. We know that that's not what we're going to tolerate Great at all. So, yeah, very interesting seeing friendships and, you know, friendship issues with people in their 20s, because I just be like, girl, don't take it. Like, I was at the screen. I was literally just screaming at my screen. Like, girl, you don't got to take that. Like, go. They are not your friends. You know, like, you don't need them. Like, you're so much bigger than that. Like, them. Honestly, them, like, they want to sit there and be mean girls. Them. Oh. Oh, my God. Okay, so you guys know, like, the whole. I did touch a little bit on the secret lives of Mormon wives and stuff. Remember how they weren't gonna air the Bachelorette with Taylor Frankie Paul? By the way, Taylor Frankie Paul followed me on Instagram, and it was the randomest thing. Like, I was just like, what? Like, why. Why are you just randomly following me? Like, it was just so weird. I. I saw this post, and it says the Bachelorette is coming in the summer, and it says the rumors of Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelorette season returning are true, but it's a little different than it's being reported. Most of the season will be released only on Hulu between July and August, but the live finale will air on ABC at the end of August. This will also be where the new Bachelor. The new Bachelor is revealed. ABC is hoping to finalize a deal with Robert Irwin to lead the show this fall. But if not, the next choice is Taylor's runner up from her season. Season should be an exciting next few months for the Bachelor franchise. And I'm just like, girl, I said it before and I'll say it again. Like, just. Just put the season out. We don't seen everything. We don't seen all the. Like, we know. We know. We know. We all knew what we were dealing with. You know, like, y' all knew what y' all dealing with when you casted her. Like, I want to see the show. I really do. I want to see, you know, if she falls for a guy Like I want to see, I want to see it. I do. I'm sorry to say it, but I want to see it. So if they do end up, I'm gonna be the first on Hulu and we going to talk about it because I just, I just want to see, I just want to see what happens. I, I, I want to see it. You guys filmed it, you've, you spent all this money on it. Might as well just put it out there. Let us watch the, let us form our own opinion. You know, I'm trying to think if there's anything else that I wanted to, I did want to talk about. I don't think I'm going to have enough time. I really did want to touch on. Do y' all know that I think he's like a rapper? His name is David. He was charged with first degree murder in the killing of, for that 14 year old girl. Oh my God, that is crazy. And like when I tell you social media is literally like people are like the FBI on there. Like people are so good at finding things out because we all had it figured out way before they even arrested his ass and took him into custody. Because everyone was kept, everybody kept saying this man killed this girl. Like there were some even in his songs. There were so many things leading to his confession. Basically like, basically like he did it. Like he done did it. And I've been like following this. Well, I wouldn't say I'm following him. I haven't been following it closely but I see it pop up all the time. So obviously I read stuff about it and stuff but it's just really sad. Like this girl was like cut up into pieces and like this whole case is just so eerie and just so sad and scary. So you know what, I want to get like all the facts and like everything together on a Google Doc because I really want to touch on it next week because someone actually DM me was like we have to like you have to talk about this on the pod. And I was like yo, for real, like I'm glad you said that because I have been, I have been like watching all of this unfold and I want to talk about it. So next week we will touch on that and I will, if you guys aren't aware of it, I will let you know like what's been going on. Like, like the whole situation. Cuz it is crazy. It's so crazy. But yeah guys, that's a wrap on today's cheese. But don't let the conversation stop here. Make sure you subscribe on our YouTube where I will be posting the videos for the podcast on there. Episode: "You Good?!"
Date: May 15, 2026
Host: Vee Rivera (Sonoro)
Theme: Mental health, motherhood, Latina identity, friendship, and juicy pop culture chisme—with Vee’s signature blend of raw honesty, humor, and openhearted storytelling.
In this candid episode, Vee returns after a short mental health break and updates listeners on her life, her family, and her journey through recent ups and downs. She opens up about the importance of checking in on your own mental health, the value of intentional friendships, and dives deep into the latest chisme from pop culture—including reality TV drama and a critical look at a recent controversial Netflix roast special. Listeners are treated to a mix of vulnerability, lighthearted family anecdotes, heartfelt listener messages, and unapologetic takes on trending shows.
[01:00 - 05:00]
Vee apologizes for missing episodes: She explains needing “a little mental health break from podcasting,” feeling overwhelmed (but in a good way), and juggling motherhood and work-life balance.
Highlights from Mother's Day: Vee describes being “absolutely spoiled” and feeling grateful for her partner Joe’s emotional attentiveness. The standout gift is a Ninja Slushie machine, which becomes a whole family (and friend group) event.
[06:00 - 12:30]
Vee’s love of hosting: Asserts being “a host, a hostess, and I just love to have people come into my home and feel, you know, feel like they’re at home.”
Prepping for Memorial Day: Vee shares her menu ideas—including a much-loved watermelon salad with red onion, cucumbers, feta cheese, lemon juice and salt.
Shifting party invites: She chooses to focus on close, intentional relationships after realizing some people simply don’t reciprocate energy.
[13:30 - 16:00]
[16:30 - 24:00]
Vee opens up about recent emotional struggles: She acknowledges “life can sometimes just be overwhelming and get to you,” and discusses recognizing negative self-talk.
Uplifting listener DM read on air: Vee shares a moving message from a long-time listener (“as your older, 43-year-old prima from the Bronx…") reminding her to trust growth, acknowledge feelings, and lean into faith.
Advice shared: Invest in little pockets of joy, consume comforting media, and take chill, grounding moments outside.
[24:00 - 30:00]
Strong reaction: Vee criticizes the roast as feeling like a “humiliation ritual” and “a bunch of people getting a pass to be racist as hell… it was disgusting.” (24:45)
Calls for accountability in entertainment: “We got to do better. Why are we letting people be this bold—especially in this climate right now?”
[30:00 - 48:00]
Breakdown of cast dynamics: Vee discusses the “high school, mean girl” vibes between cast members, notably calling out Hannah, Iris, and issues with the ‘you good?’ confrontation.
Latina identity and cultural differences: Addressed how misunderstandings play out when it comes to greetings (e.g., cheek kisses) and setting boundaries.
Reality TV and ‘editing receipts’: Vee offers an insider perspective on how editing manipulates public perception and how "there's always two sides to the story and somewhere in between there lies the truth." (44:40)
Friendship lessons:
