The CDC has just admitted that it made some mistakes in its handling of the Covid-19 Pandemic. At the same time, Dr. Anthony Fauci has announced that he will be leaving the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in December. It is certainly appropriate that we now evaluate their performances. Dr. Fauci and the CDC have been wrong on several important public health matters during the pandemic—those mistakes have devastated the national economy and have caused at least $2 – 3 Trillion in damages. The long shut-down of small businesses in America ruined many businesses, and it is now clear that the long shutdowns were not necessary. The closing of schools for long times was not warranted. Keeping little children out of school was a mistake. The vaccines do not prevent the spread of Covid-19; neither do they prevent one from getting Covid-19. There are some bad effects from the vaccines, and the natural immunity received by those who contracted Covid-19 is a superior protection than that of the vaccines. –Two-and-a-half years after the CDC began to give directions of how to deal with Covid-19, they have proven themselves most unreliable. And, as for Dr. Fauci—we all know now that he is NOT science, but he is quite arrogant. He certainly should not win a Nobel Prize for either medicine or science. Dr. Fauci knew about and instigated the US’s funding of gain of function research in the Wuhan lab. Dr. Fauci had a conflict of interest with regard to investigation of the origins of Covid-19; he tried to hide his own involvement with the US-backed research that was taking place in the Wuhan lab.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS In addition to all of this, Dr. Fauci and his CDC attempted to prevent any discussion or challenging of his public health assertions. Dr. Fauci and the Government tried to squelch and even punish some speech that challenged their views. Americans suffered and America was harmed by this whole experience. It is time for Dr. Fauci and the CDC to be exposed. We cannot afford this type of thing to ever happen again. One of the dilemmas caused by the desire to give respect to homosexual and transgender individual was illustrated when an 80-year-old woman in Washington State confronted a transgender employee in a YMCA who was looking at young girls getting out of their bathing suits. The transgender employee looked like a man, so Grandma told the man to get out. But it was ultimately Grandma who was ousted from the YMCA because she violated the new norms where an individual’s sex is determined by a person’s subjective feelings and not by his biological body.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS Most of America is still most comfortable in having biological men separated from biological women in public restrooms. But the 2020 Supreme Court case of Bostock v. Clayton County may change that. The wording of the opinion does seem to support the Washington State YMCA’s position. It will probably take another case going to the Supreme Court to decide whether the Bostock case requires the result dictated by the YMCA. Hopefully, the Supreme Court will somehow find that it’s okay for the government to continue to have separate restrooms for men and women. Clayton County (2020). appeared first on WebTalkRadio.net.

Rep. Liz Cheney was soundly repudiated by the Wyoming Republicans in the Primary election on August 8, 2022. Although Liz Cheney had voted for Trump initiatives over 90% of the time during his presidency, Cheney turned against Trump when his challenging of the 2020 election results was too strong for her liking. Cheney joined with the Democrats in claiming that Trump lied and that Trump’s efforts to have Congress investigate the election results in some states was an attempt to undermine American democracy. Cheney’s has become the Democrat’s pawn in leading the January 6th Committee, who’s overt goal is to get Trump convicted of some crime. But over 95 % of the other Republicans in the House believe that Trump neither wanted nor encouraged the January 6th riots, which actually undermined his efforts on January 6th to have Congress delay certifying election results until it could investigate election irregularities in four states. Consequently, Cheney’s obsession with attacking Trump led her to abandon the voters who put her in office two years ago. Republicans soundly rejected and repudiated Cheney on August 8th by overwhelmingly voting for Cheney’s opponent, Harriet Hageman and decisively rejecting Cheney by a 68% – 30% vote.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS Despite the voters’ rebuke, Cheney basically claimed a moral victory and vowed to do all that she can to prevent Trump from ever returning to the Oval Office. Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln and hinted that she would run for President in 2024. The only legitimate comparison Cheney can make to Lincoln would be to her support of the Lincoln Project, a group of wealthy people who spent millions of dollars in 2020 attacking and demonizing Trump. Raid on Trump’s Home. On August 18th, following a hearing before Florida Judge Bruce Reinhart, attempts to make public the affidavit submitted to justify the search warrant on the Trump home, Judge Reinhart ruled that parts of the affidavit could be released, subject to various redactions to protect witnesses and secret government information. The Government has a week to present proposed redactions to Judge Reinhart. Insufficient information was released to show whether or not the warrant was justified. Consequently, it continues to appear that the procuring of the warrant was a partisan political effort to punish President Biden’s political opponent. Further, the warrant, which was a general warrant, also appears to be a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment which prohibits warrants unless they “particularly” describe the things to be seized. The FBI raid on the Trump home in search of documents is an appalling, unprecedented act by the Administration of one President, attempting to find evidence of a crime so that it can try to imprison its opposition, a former President who is likely to again run against the current occupant of the White House.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS Although the Democrats are celebrating this raid, the Republicans are furious. This has every appearance of Biden’s politicizing the Justice Department in order to attempt to silence, and if possible imprison, his opposition. Never before has such a bold and excessive action ever been taken in America. We don’t yet know what specific pretext the Justice Department has given for this drastic measure. But if the raid does not uncover something really bad and atrocious done by Trump, then this will lead to either the resignation or impeachment of Attorney General Garland and FBI Director Wray. After the Supreme Court issued the last of its annual rulings in late June 2022, we are now in a position to evaluate how the Court is doing. Frankly, the Court has never been better during the last 60 years. A solid majority of the Supreme Court holds a conservative view about the role of the Court to exercise restraint in taking cases, in resolving issues, and in recognizing the rights of the states (federalism). The three Justices appointed by President Trump have had an important, positive effect in restoring a majority of the Court to a proper judicial view of how the courts, including the Supreme Court, should function in a democratic republic.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS This podcast discusses seven recent Supreme Court cases that establish proper views about the constitution and individual rights. These cases include: Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health (abortion/fetal rights); West Virginia v. EPA (climate change); Federal Election Commission v. Cruz (free speech and campaign finance law); Carson v. Makin (school vouchers for religious schools); Kennedy v. Bremerton (prayer by coach at school); New York State Rifle & Pistol Assn. v. Bruen (Second Amendment); and Biden v. Texas (immigration). This is an informative discussion of key 2022 Supreme Court cases. The post The State of the Supreme Court in 2022 appeared first on WebTalkRadio.net.

In June, 2022, the Supreme Court eventually did overturn Roe v. Wade, returning to the States the power to resolve the boundaries and limits of the fetal right to life and the woman’s right to control her body. The Dobbs case will become one of the most important Supreme Court decisions of our lifetime. Today’s Supreme Court reprimanded the 1973 Court for its egregious ruling in Roe v. Wade that usurped the right of the states to regulate abortion and fetal rights. Dobbs returned that power to the states and to elected legislators.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS Democrats have already effectively marshalled forces to decry Dobbs as the product of right-wing extremists on the Supreme Court who have taken away from women the right to an abortion. Republicans will take a beating in this public debate unless they figure out how to succinctly praise Dobbs by pointing out that Dobbs has restored democracy in America by returning to the states the power to identify the limits of competing rights, and to take this power away from unelected judges. The Dobbs case corrected the egregious error made by the Supreme Court in Roe. Those who oppose Dobbs implicitly repudiate democratic principles. The woman’s right to control her body is not eliminated by Dobbs, but states now must determine its boundaries, balanced against the fetal right to life. Different states may resolve this balancing differently, but determining the balance will be done by legislators, and not by judges. Proposed congressional legislation seeks to codify Roe so that prior to viability of the fetus, the woman’s right to an abortion is absolute. However, if such legislation were to pass, it would likely be unconstitutional. In this podcast we discuss these and other issues. On July 20, 2022, President Joe Biden announced that the climate change problem was getting worse, and that we now have an emergency. He said that human kind was now in a “Code Red,” and that because Congress would not act to protect the climate, then he would soon issue Executive Orders to do so. President Biden is wrong. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about; he just repeats what he’s been told by his handlers.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS While President Biden is crying that “the sky is falling,” the U. S. Supreme Court recently dealt the greenies a major defeat in the case of West Virginia v. EPA, in which the Court prevented the Government from using Section 111 of the Clean Air Act to shut down coal-burning power plants. This is a great victory for true science, which disputes that the human burning of fossil fuels is leading to catastrophe for the planet. Still lacking from the media’s treatment of climate change is any discussion of the science. This omission is baffling and annoying. Let’s have a legitimate debate about the issues that scientists debate: Is the small amount of warming leading to serious problems? Are human-caused CO2 emissions endangering the planet? Are we experiencing more extreme weather events? The fact that the media will not debate these issues is an indication that they do not want to be bothered by the facts and the science. Let the debate begin! The green extremists will be exposed. The post Update on the Climate Change Hoax appeared first on WebTalkRadio.net.

Beginning in June of 2022, the House January 6th Committee began to hold public hearings on their findings. The Committee has now held 7 publicly broadcast hearings, the stated purpose of which is to show that Donald Trump lied about his election loss, and that he incited an insurrection on January 6th at the U. S. Capitol Building. The result of these hearings has been a dud, for several reasons. The net effect of these hearings will certainly be to make Donald Trump look bad, but so far, the Commission has failed to make the case that Trump incited an insurrection on January 6, 2020. The effect of these hearings will be to show how the Trump’s opponents have dispensed with all notions of fairness and due process as they show their unbridled hatred of Trump and their unquenchable desire to find some crime to pin on him.Subscribe with your favorite podcast playerAndroidRSS This partisan witch hunt is backfiring because the proceeding is a sham and because (1) almost half of the nation support Trump; and (2) most of the Independents and some Democrats recognize that the purposes, processes and productions of the January 6th Committee are blatant violations of American values of fairness and due process. In July of 2022, America is experiencing serious economic problems. Inflation is at a 40-year high, interest rates are similarly much higher. The price of gas has almost doubled—to $5.00 a gallon during the Biden Administration. Prices of almost all goods are increasing. And the stock market has been dropping sharply for several months. We are facing another recession. One of the major causes of this economic problem is the extreme climate-change policies enacted by the Biden Administration.
