I decided to put my AI coaching chatbot to the test in a deeply personal way: navigating the crossroads of my business while freshly postpartum. Running a business in this season feels like juggling a dozen moving pieces of energy, clients, content, and community and I found myself asking the question that keeps me awake at night: what direction should I take now? I’ve set up coaching masterclasses, harvested content clips, and begun to grow my audience, but I still feel a bit aimless. Is it Circle, YouTube memberships, new programs, or something else entirely? More than strategy, this episode is about exploring what surfaces when you pause, tune in, and consider how to create a business that honors your life, your energy, and this season—while still generating sustainable revenue. In this episode, I explore:How to balance immediate revenue needs with long-term business growth.Designing a business model that honors energy, time, and postpartum realities.Turning coaching sessions into content that fuels both community and growth. The tension between “doing more” and staying aligned with your standards.Approaching your business as a living ecosystem rather than chasing multiple models.Listeners will gain insights on:How to structure offerings that protect your energy while sustaining income.Ways to leverage existing clients, alumni, and content for growth.Cultivating clarity and trust in a business that’s still unfolding.Reflecting on this season, several key insights emerged:✔ Immediate Revenue vs. Long-Term Growth1:1 clients bring accessible income now.Community and masterclasses are the seeds of a future scalable business.Energy constraints are real especially with unpredictable family needs.✔ Energy-Aligned Business ModelsChose models that felt spacious, human-centered, and simple:Intimate 1:1 + waitlistLive coaching room membershipOngoing community in CircleAudience-first, monetize later approachFocused on models that allow growth without overextension.✔ Trusting the Ecosystem Already EmergingRecognized that I already have the “bones” of my business: 1:1 clients, alumni community, masterclasses, and Circle as a home base.Every content piece, alumni invitation, or class is a doorway into the same space—not a need for multiple offers.Reframed visibility as inviting rather than “hounding,” honoring both energy and integrity.✔ Host vs. Builder MindsetLeading as a host focuses on opening doors for others to enter, rather than constantly building new structures.Simplifies the business without sacrificing impact or revenue.Free Guide, Growth Without Burnout: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/b51104bb4dCEO Capacity Creator: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/ceocapacitycreatorTry the chatbot for yourself: ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/elleninmypocket

I decided to explore boundaries in marriage through a deeply personal lens. Setting limits can feel both protective and uncomfortable, especially when they touch on deeply held values or differences. My husband and I are generally good at creating boundaries, but some like “no-go zones” around politics still stir subtle tension for me. I tend to be an open book, while he’s more private, and “agreeing to disagree” has sometimes felt like a barrier to connection. In this episode, I reflect on what it means to hold boundaries as healthy and loving, without shrinking my sense of safety or closeness, and how to stay open even in moments of difference. This conversation surfaces:✔ The tension between openness and protective boundaries in relationships✔ How old survival patterns and fears of conditional love show up in marriage✔ The subtle difference between feeling like you are shrinking vs. your love shrinking✔ Practices to keep your heart open 5% more than instinct wants✔ How staying connected in difference fosters deeper intimacy and resilienceUnderstanding the Tension: I realized my discomfort with “agree to disagree” isn’t about the topics themselves, it’s about safety, being seen, and love. Disagreement triggers old fears of conditional love, shame, and relational failure.Mapping the Pattern: I noticed the signal moments like body activation, racing thoughts, tension, defensiveness before my love begins to retract. Recognizing these early gives me the opportunity to choose differently.Designing Real-Time Practices: I outlined concrete ways to keep my love present: vocalizing awareness of withdrawal impulses, grounding through breath and touch, and holding a tangible reminder (like a squishy heart) to reconnect with safety and presence.Reframing the Boundary: Boundaries aren’t threats, they’re agreements that protect the relationship. Staying open within them allows love to coexist with difference, rather than shrinking in response to it.Healing Through Marriage: By approaching these moments as opportunities for inner healing, rather than conflict resolution alone, my marriage becomes a space where old patterns of conditional love can soften and transform.Love can remain present even when agreement disappears.Awareness of early bodily and emotional signals is key to interrupting automatic patterns.Boundaries can expand intimacy when we see them as protective, not restrictive.Free Guide, Growth Without Burnout: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/b51104bb4dCEO Capacity Creator: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/ceocapacitycreatorTry the chatbot for yourself: ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/elleninmypocket👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more reflections on marriage, boundaries, and cultivating resilient, connected love.

I decided to turn my attention inward and notice a pattern in how I share updates about my kids. My husband’s updates tend to skew positive, while mine include both joys and struggles but the struggles often take center stage. This isn’t about fake positivity; it’s about the ways our brains naturally prioritize challenges over beauty. In this episode, I explore why I focus on the “negative,” how that shapes my story as a parent, and what shifts when I pause to truly linger in joy.In our conversation, we unpacked:✔ How negativity bias shapes what we remember and share✔ Why struggles get more airtime than joyful moments✔ The role of processing challenges in growth and connection✔ How joy asks for presence rather than explanation✔ Practical ways to let simple, precious moments linger without feeling forcedHighlights:Noticing the Pattern: I realized my tendency to highlight struggles isn’t about pessimism, it’s about survival and meaning-making. Challenges are the “puzzles” my mind wants to work through, while joy often just “is.”Sharing vs. Experiencing: While my updates focus on difficulty, the playful, tender moments with my kids actually make up the majority of our days. Those moments are simple, word-light, and often pass by without being claimed or shared. The Role of Silence: I noticed that I rush past joy when there are fewer words to describe it, partly out of discomfort with silence. The invitation is to linger 1% longer in these moments, allowing them to be witnessed, felt, and integrated.Joy Coexisting with Survival: Experiencing joy doesn’t require leaving survival mode. It’s about widening presence and gently recognizing sweetness even amidst challenges and letting it coexist with the harder parts of parenting.✔ Struggles invite connection through processing; joy invites connection through presence.✔ Lingering in word-light, joyful moments deepens awareness and appreciation for life’s texture.✔ Permission, presence, and small breaths can be more transformative than adding words or positivity.Free Guide, Growth Without Burnout: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/b51104bb4dCEO Capacity Creator: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/ceocapacitycreatorTry the chatbot for yourself: ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/elleninmypocket👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more reflective conversations about parenting, presence, and the small, meaningful moments that shape our lives.

I decided to put my custom AI coaching chatbot to the test in a deeply personal way: regulating my own nervous system in real time. As a certified life coach, I know how hard it is to pause, tune in, and truly meet yourself where you are but what happens when a tool you built meets you exactly where you are, without judgment or expectation? This episode isn’t about technology; it’s about what surfaces when you stop performing, stop fixing, and actually go inward. In this session, my AI guided me through five simple prompts to reconnect with my body, notice what’s really happening, and respond gently to my needs. Along the way, we explored:✔ How tension in your body carries messages about unmet needs✔ What real nervous system regulation feels like, moment by moment✔ The difference between obligation and permission in self-care✔ How small, tangible actions like a hug or snuggle can create deep shifts✔ Moving from pressure to agency: allowing, granting permission, and making choiceDeep Dive / Highlights:Here’s what happened in the session:Slowing Down: The AI led me through breathing and sensory awareness exercises, helping me identify five things I could see, four things I could feel, and three things I could hear. This wasn’t about distraction, it was about grounding.Listening to the Body: Tension in my shoulders surfaced, and the AI invited me to explore its message. “Rest and connection,” I realized, were the answers I already carried within me.Tiny, Doable Actions: The AI helped me pinpoint a small, immediate source of comfort is snuggling with my dog, Moxie reminds me that real care is rarely abstract; it’s tangible, human, accessible. From Obligation to Agency: The session emphasized a shift from doing because you should, to allowing, giving permission, and choosing. This subtle shift softened my nervous system and created space for presence and comfort.✔ Nervous system regulation is less about “fixing” yourself and more about noticing, acknowledging, and responding gently.✔ Small, human gestures of care can anchor your nervous system faster than any strategy or framework.✔ Permission, allowing, and choice are not abstract concepts, they are practical levers for emotional and physical regulation.Free Guide, Growth Without Burnout: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/b51104bb4dCEO Capacity Creator: https://ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/ceocapacitycreatorTry the chatbot for yourself: ellenbroencoaching.kit.com/elleninmypocket👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more reflections on creativity, alignment, and building a life that actually feels like yours.
