In past one month, Facebook is hot again in news and it’s not for something related to data misuse, like in 2018, this time it’s much worse. Facebook has been hit by three whistle-blowers since September this year, claiming the platform has put gaining profits before stopping the spread of misinformation, hates speech and harmful content. The wall street journal got an opportunity to review lot of Facebook internal research documents, about how Facebook works, how its executives think and how it’s trying to fix some of the problems, they knows that their systems cause. This is the most significant stuff, that the journal had ever seen. I will go through some these leaked internal documents of Facebook and give you insight on, how Facebook knew they are causing harm and in the most cases, and has not taken significant steps to stop it.
