Okay, so Melania just gets the keys to the fuck jet and then, holy shit. For no reason whatsoever, she went out and put the Epstein files back in the news. It's trending all over social media now. And this is in response to nothing. It's not like somebody released something today that caused her to have to go out and say, stop with the lies about Epstein and me. There's just nobody, absolutely nobody, Melania Trump.
C
The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean spirited attempts to defame my reputation. I never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell. My email reply to Maxwell cannot be categorized as anything more than casual correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't amount to anything more than a tribal note. I am not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance at the New York city party in 1998. This initial encounter with my husband is documented in detail in my book. Man. Melania.
B
Okay, what? The first thing I heard, though, that I really stuck out to me. I don't know if you caught this. She calls Gailene Maxwell an accomplice. Gaylee Maxwell has been trying to say that she's been innocent and that she has done nothing wrong. And she never saw Jeffrey Epstein do or anyone do anything illegal or Trump do anything illegal and she calls her an accomplice. Now, if Trump decides to either pardon her or commute her her sentence, he is now doing that to someone his wife called an accomplice.
A
Yes, that is fascinating that she, you know, admitted that. So it's going to make it impossible. So maybe this isn't about Trump pardoning Gillian Maxwell.
B
I don't think so.
A
Perhaps it's because something's about to come out. Now, folks who are Kitchen Table Days listeners of Mueller, she wrote, will remember we had a phrase called lubing the truth and what it meant. It all started when Don Jr. Was on a plane back in 2016, and the new York Times called him up and said, we have an explosive story that you were at a Trump Tower meeting with Russia discussing dropping sanctions in June, June 16, I believe, of 2016, and we're going to publish this story. Do you care to comment? And immediately, Junior hung up the phone and then released his communications with his dad about that Trump Tower meeting. To get out ahead of it. Yeah, right. To put it out into the news themselves. So as to what they say in court draw the sting, right? Because in court, like, if you have a witness that's got some shitty shit going on in their past and it's your witness, you're gonna wanna say, hey, you know, Michael Cohen, isn't it true that you did this and that you're this bad guy and that you went to jail and all this other stuff so that your opponent doesn't get the chance to do that? Right. You do it yourself. And this is what this feels like, short of a hostage video.
B
Well, what's bizarre to me, though, is there are so many photos and emails between everyone that mentioned Melania. Some are from her, some are to her. There's photos that are just go back to. To dated way back to them on the jets to parties. We just. Donald and I just went to some. Some of the same parties that Epstein was at. Epstein didn't introduce me to Donald. I met him. It is bizarre to me that. That she's doing a press conference and then asking the victims to come in and testify in front of Congress.
A
While selling her book.
B
While selling.
A
Yes. And she said that one email between her and Ghislaine was. She said tribal. I think she meant trivial, probably. But it says like that email exchange is Ghislaine Maxwell emailing Melania saying, hey, sweet pea, what are you doing this weekend? She's like, oh, you must be traveling all over the world. Call me when I'm back In New York. Like that's not a trip anyway. Yeah, that's not tribal, To quote our great first lady. But I have some thoughts about this. I have some thoughts about this, particularly because in that clip we showed you and a couple other times, she specifically mentions Ghislaine Maxwell. And like you said, that's a really good point that she pointed out that Ghislaine Maxwell is Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice as if to discredit her. And the reason I say that here, there we go. The reason I say that is because if you think about back at the time when Todd Blanche was meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell.
B
Yeah.
A
Right around that time, a couple of Wall Street Journal stories came out that Donald Trump SU sued for $10 billion over. And they were about the birthday book. Right. Stuff that came from not only the Epstein estate, but that Ghislaine Maxwell had. And we had wondered like, oh, was Ghislaine Maxwell releasing stories to the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch trying to get moved to a low security prison or trying to get a pardon maybe? And then you remember when DOJ in like December, they released a second batch of Epstein files and they're like, that's it, we're done with the Epstein files.
B
Yeah.
A
But then the next month they released a handful more.
B
Yeah.
A
And they were very damning to Donald Trump. Those were the ones with the tips to the FBI tip line, the one where one of the tipsters actually reached out to me.
B
I did a raping. A 13 year old.
A
She up the raping 13. The. The modeling agency contacts through, through Donald Trump's modeling agency. And what was interesting about that particular trove of documents is that they all had batestamps numbers from Ghislaine Maxwell's trial.
B
Oh, interesting.
A
They were all stuff that Ghislaine Maxwell had. And so I was wondering, did Ghislaine Maxwell call up Donald Trump and say, I'm going to release these 302s and this damning information about you from the files that I have that I got in discovery in my criminal case. Now all of a sudden Melania's up there again. In response to nothing. We had stopped that. Well, the media had stopped talking about the Epstein files. Yeah.
B
It is really interesting that you're right that they'd have her go out and do this just to bring it back into the news cycle. Unless they're about to do so. This is the only thing I can think is, are they about to commit a giant war crime and hope that no one's Paying att, because this is what they're doing. Let's look over at this hand. This hand stealing your wallet. Oh, this hand's back doing something. This hand's going to do something worse. Like it, it really is the flooding of the zone. And hey, look over here. Media. So maybe you won't focus on the fact that, you know, we just botched a, a, a ceasefire with Iran, that they got everything that they asked for, a 10 point plan, that apparently Iran's doing just fine and we got fucked over it.
A
Yes. And is Melania, is Ghislaine Maxwell threatening to release the stuff she has on Melania in order to get a pardon?
B
And then maybe this is just coming out and them saying none of this happens. So when this stuff does come out, they can go, well, that's not true. The first lady said that. That's not true.
A
Lubing the truth. Exactly. Well, if it was that bad, she wouldn't have brought it up ahead of time in the first place. Yeah.
B
So I don't know.
A
And they always kind of release that stuff on the weekends, so it could be Iran has something. You know, they've been sort of releasing things here and there.
B
It's going to be a little Lego video of like Melania getting sex trafficked. I mean, I don't make mean to make light of it, but at the same time, everything that they have done in these videos, these Lego videos attacking the United States, it's things that the United States has actually done or Trump has done, like whoever's doing the propaganda out of Iran on the, on their behalf is.
A
They're doing it. They're doing a really good job.
B
Really good job. Like, I wish we were doing as good a job. Like maybe the Democrats should hire whoever's doing the propaganda for Iran.
A
Probably would be a bad idea, but I totally get your, I totally. Yeah, I could see the Republicans running with that one. So keep an eye out this weekend for some sort of drop.
B
Yep.
A
Of photos, videos, everything that Melania mentioned was a smear or a lie against her and how it has to stop. I do agree with her that there needs to be a congressional hearing in which we could hear what the survivors have to say. And, you know, that's a little bit of a propaganda trick to get the good guys on your side before some bad shit's about to hit the fan.
B
Right.
A
Yeah. So again, this is tinfoil hat time. But I think that there could be something coming because it was in response to nothing. And Dana, like you said to put the Epstein files right back in the spotlight after having them go quiet for a while. And granted, the reason they went quiet is because we have a tyrannical madman calling for genocide and needs to be removed by the 25th amendment. So I don't know if it's as simple as now they're using the Epstein files to distract from the war. I think that she's lubing the truth. I think she's drawing the sting for something that might drop this weekend. But I could be totally wrong.
B
Yeah, we'll find out. We will definitely find out. And you know, when it happens, we're going to be talking to you about it on Monday.
