Allison Gill
Stop it.
Dana Goldberg
Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
Allison Gill
And what's on the other side? Rainbows but only illusions Rainbows have nothing to hide. All right, here we go.
Dana Goldberg
Oh, you don't think we're keeping that? We're keeping that.
Allison Gill
Hey, Everybody. It's Monday, June 8th, 2026. I'm Allison Gill.
Dana Goldberg
Are you. And I'm Dana Goldberg, and this is Beans Talk.
Allison Gill
Okay, thank you to the listener who made these hats and sent them to us. Very much appreciated. So I'm going to wear this today. It's a Portland resistance frog.
Dana Goldberg
I love it.
Allison Gill
I love it, I love it. Also, something that's kind of nice. Trump hasn't posted anything on Truth Social in the last 26, almost 27 hours now by my count, at least at the time of this recording. And while that doesn't seem like a big deal for, like, a regular person, that's, like, unprecedented for him. And maybe it's because, Dana, he is maybe fuming, you know, throwing ketchup at the walls because of what happened with Kristen Welker on NBC's Meet the Press. Did you see this?
Dana Goldberg
Oh, yes, I did. And I want all of our viewers to see it as well.
Allison Gill
Yeah, apparently, she flew all the way out to Wisconsin to interview him, and he threw a fit and got up and walked out. When pressed on whether he had any shred of evidence about election rigging. Watch.
Donald Trump
Stupid Biden. He's not smart enough to know what's going on. But people that surrounded him, surrounded his beautiful Resolute desk in the Oval Office. What they did to the lives of people. They destroyed people. They sent people to jail who did nothing wrong.
Kristen Welker
Just to be very clear, there's no evidence of what you're saying. But this is about Todd. Blanche, listen to me.
Donald Trump
Listen to me. Let's talk about this tremendous evidence. There's nothing but evidence. The election was rigged. It was a dirty election, and it's happening again right now in California. Right now in California. Right now. It's looking, look at what's happening in California. It's four days are doing well in California. It's. No, they're not. They're dropping fast because it's a rigged election. Let me tell you, it's four days and they aren't even close to coming up. You know why they're doing that? Because they're cheating on the election.
Kristen Welker
There's what do you have evidence to support?
Donald Trump
All I have to do is look. All I have to do is look and I listen and I listen to people and let's see what happens.
Kristen Welker
But sir, that's not evidence.
Donald Trump
You think it's appropriate.
Kristen Welker
That's how they count the votes.
Donald Trump
You think it's appropriate that they have an election and five days later they're nowhere close to picking.
Kristen Welker
State and local officials acknowledge they are slow. They're urging.
Donald Trump
No, they're crooked.
Kristen Welker
They're urging the votes to be counted quickly. That's how they vote.
Donald Trump
Crooked. Just like you're crooked. Your press is crooked and Meet the press is crooked.
Kristen Welker
To be fair, I'm not crooked.
Donald Trump
But let's really. When you play right into their hands.
Kristen Welker
Let's continue.
Donald Trump
You're either crooked or you're stupid. You play right into their hands with this. You know that these elections are rigged. Your network knows that they're rigged. You know that I won an election in a landslide And I got 94% bad press.
Kristen Welker
But Mr. President, you know why I got that present?
Donald Trump
Because you have no credibility.
Kristen Welker
But you've never presented evidence that it was rigged. Let's keep talking about. I want to talk about Todd.
Donald Trump
You have more evidence. There's more evidence than ever presented. Let's talk your elections in this country. We're like a third world country. Your elections are crooked and you're crooked and Meet the Press is crooked and so is ABC and CBS and CNN. Mr. One sided crooked network. So let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time.
Kristen Welker
Mr. President, let's please. I traveled all the way to Wisconsin.
Donald Trump
I've sat in the rain with you.
Kristen Welker
I know. I sat in the rain with you
Donald Trump
for an hour on and off in the rain and I've given you enough time. You ought to straighten out your press because you know what? A country can never be great with a dishonest.
Kristen Welker
Listen, we traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview.
Dana Goldberg
What a baby. First of all. Second of all, I am sort of shocked that he didn't stroke out. His blood pressure was getting so high during that interview. And good for Kristen Welker for pushing back. I mean, pushing back over and over. I want to see more of that. That's the kind of, that I want to see in these press briefings. Like, I love Caitlyn Collins. She does a really good job of just listening and what she calls. Because I, I watched her on, watch what happens live. Respecting the person you're interviewing as best you can, even if it's Trump. But this is the kind of. I want to see. I want to see more Kristen Welker. People just be like, that's not true. That you have no evidence. That's not true.
Allison Gill
You've never provided any evidence ever. Like, not even, even in 2020. You failed to provide a single shred of evidence of the fact that that election. And she kept actually trying to move on and be like, let's talk about Todd Blanche. And he's like, no, you. Then the darling and the shoulder pat. Like, what a.
Dana Goldberg
He's so, he's so rapey. He's just disgusting. He is.
Allison Gill
Men are too emotional to have jobs in politics.
Dana Goldberg
This is how California voting has always worked. Listen, I've been in the States in 2009, we talked about this on Long beans. We want there to be actual, proper, protected elections. We count every vote. We compare the signatures. That's what we do. This has always happened. And by the way, them being like, oh, they're cheating in California. Do you think you have any chance of winning a governorship on a free and fair election? It's like a 2 to 1 vote in the state.
Allison Gill
We, we pass Prop 50 by like 65 to 35. Yeah. And the we have 2 to 1 Democrats to Republicans ratio, like, it's, it's bizarre. But you know, to answer his questions about 4, 5 days, we accept mail in ballots till 7 days after the election. So we still don't even have all the ballots that we have to count. And it's not weird for, for California ballots to break blue because we're a deep blue state. Like, I don't know what to tell you, but the misogyny is discussion. Discussing the treatment of the press. Now, first of all, the fact that the White House Correspondents association is still kissing this guy's ass after he treats the press like this and having a dinner that he gets to go to in July at, by the way, a different hotel ballroom, not his ballroom. So I guess it can't be that important to have a ballroom but we're still having the White House correspondence dinner. It blows my mind that they allow this to go on.
Dana Goldberg
Yeah, it. It does to me, too. I mean, he's fuming over all kinds of stuff right now, and I honestly love to see it, because if he's not upset over this Kristen Welker interview, he's definitely going to be mad about the Public Integrity Law Project that is suing to stop this UFC fight on the White House lawn on June 14th. And thank God, I love someone's doing this, even if they have to delay. This is on his birthday. I'm pretty sure it is Flag Day, his birthday. And the. Oh, we need security and all of this. This monstrosity that they bu on the White House lawn is disgusting. And according to CBS News, they're suing on behalf. And I love this. An Air Force veteran who says that the event did not go through an environmental impact review. It actually lacks the congressional approval for such a large event on federal land. I love that people know the law.
Allison Gill
Yeah, it's. It's. I'm. I'm glad that they're suing. I know a lot of people had asked the question, well, don't lawsuits take a really long time? And isn't the event in a week? Yes, but let me say that there can always be temporary preliminary injunctions or temporary restraining orders put in place while the merits of a lawsuit play out. This happens all the time where someone will say, no. You know, a judge will be like, you have to stop immediately to maintain the status quo while we figure out whether or not this person has standing and the merits of the case, and if our environmental review was skipped and all that other stuff. So an injunction can actually be put into place to stop this before it happens. But we'll see. As we know, Dana, you and I reported, I think, from the Times or the Post, that they have, like, a waist height ratio for making junior enlisted and junior officer folks from the Department of Defense from the armed forces come to this event, and they have to be wearing short sleeve shirts, um, which is really weird.
Dana Goldberg
It's the gayest thing I've had I've seen during Pride Month so far. And we're what, seven, eight days in?
Allison Gill
Yeah. So I'm just kind of surprised that he hasn't. After that whole Welker interview, that he didn't just go and unload, you know, how he. How he likes to do on Truth Social, I'm wondering, gosh, I hope he's. Boy, I hope he's all right.
Dana Goldberg
I I hope. Gosh, me too. I hope he's all right, too. The other thing is, and I will say this, and I know that everyone listening, and if the judge puts an injunction, they're going to do it anyway. They will absolutely go through with the event. What are they going to. Because they're going to be like, what are you going to do, arrest us all?
Allison Gill
Yeah. And I guess Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida got iced out, right? Because Trump is uninviting all of the musicians. They were the two that were remaining on their 255 now we don't want to hate rally. And now it's just him doing his double hand job dance to the gayest song on the planet. Ymca.
Dana Goldberg
I mean, if that's not dope. Come on, what porn were you watching that this became your YMCA dance? You know, you gotta move your fist to the outside. It's this. It's literally a double jack off in the air. There you go. It's just. I mean, I'm assuming that's what it looks like. Oh, my God.
Allison Gill
I forgot it was this way.
Dana Goldberg
Yeah, it's worse. It's this way.
Allison Gill
Oh, boy, that'll be fun. All right, everybody, I'm gonna. We're gonna stop this recording. I'm gonna go watch game three of the NBA Finals. Knicks versus Spurs. I'm rooting for the Knicks, and I'm also waiting to see how loud the booze for Donald Trump, provided he shows up.
Dana Goldberg
I. I mean, I'm really hoping he doesn't. Like I said, it's just going to cause such a. A downer for the city, disrupting the whole first two games. It's just unnecessary. It's unnecessary. Let watch and enjoy everything that they built without you being a distraction. It's so selfish. It's so selfish.
Allison Gill
It is.
Dana Goldberg
Take your little double jack off and stay in Washington, D.C. or Florida.
Allison Gill
Wherever you're doing, keep your double jack off in Florida, would you?
Dana Goldberg
Yeah.
Allison Gill
All right, everybody, thanks so much. And I appreciate you letting me wear my frog hat today.
Dana Goldberg
You are? Absolutely.
Allison Gill
And we'll see you tomorrow. I'm Allison Gill.
Dana Goldberg
And I'm Dana Goldberg. And that was Beans Talk.
Allison Gill
Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
Dana Goldberg
What's on the other side?
Allison Gill
