Well, I'm happy to announce it's a mostly good news Friday, everyone.
B (1:11)
I love that. I love that.
A (1:14)
Yeah, me too. We needed this day. It's a good way to start the weekend so we can rest and recharge later in the show. I'll be talking to John Fugalang for Fugal Sang Fridays here on the Daily Beans. But I'm just very happy that there's. I've got justice envy for other countries.
B (1:30)
Me, too.

It must be nice to have a functioning Supreme Court. But I'm glad that other people around the world get to experience justice that we don't get to experience here in the United States because of the current regime. But we'll talk about that and much more. Let's hit the hot notes. Hot notes. First up, from the Associated Press. The former Prince Andrew was arrested and held for hours by British police Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office that's related to his links to Jeffrey Epstein. This is an extraordinary move in a country where authorities once sought to shield the royal family from embarrassment. It was the first time in nearly four centuries that a senior British royal was placed under arrest. And it underscored how deference to the monarchy has eroded in recent years. King Charles iii, who whose late mother lived by the motto never complain, never explain, took the unusual step of issuing a statement on the arrest of his brother, now known as Andrew Mountbatten. Windsor police previously said they were assessing reports that Windsor sent trade information to Epstein, a wealthy investor and convicted sex offender, back in 2010, when the former prince was Britain's special envoy for international trade. Correspondence between the two men was released by the U.S. justice Department late last month along with millions of pages of documents from the American investigation into Epstein. Quote, following a thorough assessment, we've now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office. That's what Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said in a statement. And while I wish he had been arrested for rape and sex trafficking and not giving trade secrets to Epstein, I'm happy to see he's been arrested.
