So thank you so much and to support US and independent journalism. Head to patreon.com muellershirote we really appreciate it. We have a lot of news today, but here's a couple of quick hits. First up, Jack Smith has filed his response to Trump's motion to stay his gag order in D.C. and as I expected, they included all the shit he's done to violate gag orders while they're stayed, including his post that intimidated a witness, namely Mark Meadows, where he called Jack Smith deranged, which was specific language he wasn't supposed to use. And the two New York gag order violations that resulted in fines totaling $15,000 that I talked to Glenn Kirschner yesterday. Trump's reply to the Department of Justice is due tomorrow. And Department of Justice filed a brief supplementing their motion for the court to require Donald Trump to notify them of his intent to use an advice of Counsel Defense by December 18th. Now, Trump's opposition to that request was simple and stupid. He basically said it's unconstitutional. You can't make me, but you should have done it sooner. Okay, I'll give it to you in January. My Department of justice says no, December 18th is proper. It's not a secret. You're not going to blow a secret defense. Your lawyers blabbed about it everywhere, all over television. And now you've got three attorneys in Fulton county that have admitted they lied and conspired with you. So your advice of counsel thing isn't going to go so well. Anyhow, I'll cover Both of these DOJ motions in depth with Andy McCabe on Sunday's episode of Jack. Next up. For two years, the media has been holding you on the edge of your seat, saying a recession is coming. Recession is coming. Well, today we learned the GDP grew at a staggering rate of 4.9% in the third quarter. Trump never got above 3%. He bragged about one day getting to 4% if we reelected him. Even Fox News hosts were like, Holy shit, skis. 4.9%. That's Bidenomics, y'. All. And the Ohio secretary of state has quietly removed 26,000 voters from the rolls. So please, please, if you're in Ohio, check to see if you're still registered and tell your family and friends to check their registration, too. Don't let them trick you out of voting on issue one and everything else that's coming up in the November election. Also, New York Republicans are moving forward with their resolution to expel George Santos from the House. That vote will take place next week. It's time to find out if the new fascist speaker traded accountability away for a vote, and the United Auto Workers union reached a tentative labor deal on Wednesday with Ford. The proposed accord, which UAW's leadership must still approve, provides a 25% wage hike over a four and a half year contract, starting with an initial increase of 11%. And finally, the Justice Department today announced charges against former executive at HealthSun Health Plans Incident. That's a Medicare Advantage organization that operates Medicare Advantage plans in South Florida. They charged her for her role in a multi million dollar Medicare fraud scheme. Kennea Vallebosa, 39, of Miami, formerly the director of Medicare Risk adjustment analytics at HealthSun, allegedly orchestrated a scheme to submit false and fraudulent information to increase the amount that HealthSun received for certain Medicare Advantage enrollees. Her and her co conspirators allegedly entered diagnostic codes for conditions that patients didn't actually have to pad their bottom line and compensate themselves. Health care should never be for profit all right, those are the quick hits. Let's hit the Hot notes Hot notes first stop At least 18 people are dead and 13 others injured after shootings at a bar and a bowling Alley in Lewiston, Maine. Police named Robert Card, 40 years old, as a suspect in the shootings, and an arrest warrant on murder charges has been issued. He remains at large as of the recording of this podcast. Seven people were found dead at the Just In Time Recreation bowling alley and eight were found dead at Sheming G's Bar and Grill. I'm probably mispronouncing that. I'm sorry if I am. And three were pronounced dead at area hospitals. Officials have urged residents of Lewiston, which is Maine's second largest city about 30 miles north of Portland and nearby Auburn, to shelter in place. Residents in other communities have also been asked to stay put, and many schools and businesses are closed now. A gun was found in a white Subaru linked to the suspect, according to two sources familiar and whether it's the same weapon used in the mass shooting is being investigated. It's an AR15 style rifle. The Subaru, which had been identified as belonging to the suspect, was found last night at a boat launch in Lisbon, Maine. That's according to state police. Now, at a press conference today, Congressman Jared golden had this to say.
