God bless football. Mikey A.
Mikey A
God bless football. Stugots.
Stugatz
13 wins for Sam Darnold in his jets career. 13 this season alone for the Minnesota Vikings. I. I hate them.
Billy Gill
I'm starting to get.
Mikey A
Yeah, I'm not bitter about it.
Billy Gill
I'm starting to get why you guys hate them.
Stugatz
You get it now, right? Yeah.
Mikey A
Didn't give you a. Didn't give you a clue in there.
Stugatz
I did take some solace in Geno Smith throwing that late interception as another former jets quarterback, but happy holidays to you guys.
Billy Gill
Hey, happy holidays to you, Stugas. I got some good news, Mike. Yay. I got some good news. So we. We don't have any sponsor obligations today. We're kind of just doing this for funsies because we're in the middle of the college football playoffs. The NFL playoffs race is heating up. So I have some segments that I want to try out. And because we're not sponsored, I don't think there's anything stopping us from doing them. You want to hear what they are? So I have a couple things. I have one called product of the day, in which I'll show you a product of the day.
Stugatz
Okay, Billy, before you continue with your new segments here, you do have Billy's big board bets today, correct?
Billy Gill
I do.
Mikey A
We need that.
Stugatz
Yeah. People want to know about that, right?
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Stugatz
Yeah.
Billy Gill
Not after last week. Last week was a two and five week. We can get into what happened last week later on. Yeah, but this is a big bounce back week. A BBB as they call it. A big bounce back for the BBBB's.
Mikey A
Listen, if anybody has been following this podcast and watching and listening to us all season, you know this. That was a good loss week for you, Billy. That was a good loss. You needed that for the rest of the season.
Stugatz
Much like. Much like we said the Lions needed a loss. Look what happened yesterday. Boom.
Mikey A
Yep.
Stugatz
Reset.
Billy Gill
Here's the thing about that.
Mikey A
Reset.
Billy Gill
Lions. Lions pretending we're falling down to throw touchdowns. I don't like that. I don't like that.
Mikey A
Did you see, did you see somebody found the play from Green Bay when Green Bay played Chicago and they actually fell down and then the guy got up and threw a wide open touchdown and the OC was like, you know what, that might work for us too. Let's just fake the fall down though.
Billy Gill
Yeah, someone. Someone tweeted at us and. And they may be right too. Cute. We're upsetting the football gods. I don't know that this is what we want to be doing at this time of the year. I'm not positive, guys. Also, also I have a segment that I like to call Video Roulettes.
Stugatz
Wow. So video Roulette product of the day. We also have, I believe we have if the season ended today and we have winners and losers. So we have a lot to get to today. Billy. I don't want to be here too long. We're on vacation.
Billy Gill
Well, here's the thing about, about video Roulette is this is how video Roulette works. And we've played this game before. I just gave it a different name this time.
Stugatz
Okay.
Billy Gill
We're basically just going to send out the link to this conversation that we're on right now and see who joins that we send the link to. So video roulette is an ongoing throughout the recordings now. Okay, here's the thing. Because of the time of the year, I also don't really want to send it to like, I don't want to say this the wrong way, important people. So I feel like this is Billy Gill's C list video Roulette where we just kind of send it to people that we think might hop on. What do you think?
Stugatz
Okay, why?
Billy Gill
Just for funsies. Just because, you know, it's holiday time, you catch up with friends and family. What do you think? I have one person that I'm going to send it to and Honestly, I'm waiting on this person's response. I sent it a little while ago because I decided we're playing video roulette. Whether you said yes or no, I'm sending them to people. Okay, so this person works around here. I will just tell you what I sent them initially. I said, are you working today? And will you get in trouble if you join us on a podcast? All right, that's the only clue, and I haven't heard back. So I think the follow up is just going to be a link to this. To this Zoom. What do you think?
Stugatz
I'm fine with that. Who have you sent it to? Can you. Can you share some names?
Billy Gill
So far, no one. I haven't said this to anyone yet, but if you're in, I think we should all send the link to three to four people and then see who joins us. What do you think?
Mikey A
I think Stu froze again. That's what.
Billy Gill
Yeah, we're gonna play another game this episode. It's called CGOTS's Wi Fi Keeps Freezing and we're gonna get through it together.
Stugatz
Yeah, that wasn't my WI Fi, man. That. I'm fine. I'm still here. It was. No, it was not my WI fi. It wasn't my wifi.
Billy Gill
Okay, so this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna send. I'm gonna send my first. I'm gonna send my first video roulette invitation because this person may be joining us from an airplane.
Stugatz
Okay, so this is because the first of the invitations being sent to C list celebrities. Is that what you're saying?
Billy Gill
C is a bit of a stretch, Billy.
Mikey A
C list, perfect.
Billy Gill
If I see List. Yeah, Sees a bit of a stretch. So we have some football to talk about.
Stugatz
It should be his G list.
Billy Gill
No, the Commanders.
Stugatz
Yeah, what about him?
Billy Gill
Eagles 33. Commanders 36. We good? No, I'm kidding. That was. That was actually a good.
Mikey A
That was definitely not. We good.
Billy Gill
Yeah, that was a good game.
Stugatz
Yeah, it was interesting because the Eagles appeared to be running away with that game early on. Jalen Hurts, suffers a concussion. He's out. Kenny Pickett, we found out he's in Philadelphia together at the same exact time Kenny Pickett comes in. That was a great game. Jaden Daniels, man, I'm not certain. Just. Just considering how bad Washington has been over the last, I don't know, decade or so. That guy has saved their franchise. He might be. He might be the mvp. I'm not certain he shouldn't be the mvp, considering that Washington. What'd you say?
Billy Gill
Of the NFL.
Stugatz
I mean, Billy, he's been really good.
Billy Gill
He's not going to win the MVP of the NFL.
Stugatz
I'm not saying he's going to win it. He's likely not, but you can make an argument that he deserves it. If you're talking about true value. Jaden Daniels is certainly in that conversation. He has turned that franchise around, man.
Mikey A
Rookie of the year. Okay, wait, just. Let's just cap it right there. He's offensive rookie of the year, Brock Bowers. Thanks for coming out.
Stugatz
Hold on, both of you. Do me a favor. Can we just slow down for a second? So we have a lot to get to and I'm placating you guys in all your games. Go ahead and give me a guy who's more valuable to his team than Jaden Daniels is to Washington.
Billy Gill
Josh Allen.
Mikey A
Josh Allen.
Stugatz
Okay, good. You win.
Billy Gill
All right, so Jaden Daniels, five touchdowns yesterday, two interceptions. Here's a stat that I stole from the NFL Network. Jaden Daniels has four passing touchdowns in the final 30 seconds of the fourth quarter overtime. It is the most since the merger. So he is pretty clutch. He's keeping well. He's winning games for them. I'm a little bit worried about how much he's running, to be honest with you. He already has the rib injury situation. He's bit on the smaller side and he, he's putting himself out there going on these runs and he's taking hits, which I'm a little worried about long term.
Stugatz
Mikey, you worried about it?
Mikey A
I, I, I, It's a get down situation. It's a, It's a, Every time he runs, you're like, yes, yes, yes. Get down, get down.
Stugatz
That's all right. Right? He's, he's such a good p. I mean, but he has to run. It's part of his game. I'm okay with it. He seems to have that ability. I know he's a little bit banged up, Billy, but he's played for the most part and seems to have the ability to kind of run and not get injured, unlike RG3.
Billy Gill
So, like, I injured his ribs.
Stugatz
I, I understand. But for the most part, he is, he's been healthy and he's played this.
Mikey A
Year, but I think that came on a sack, which is.
Stugatz
Right.
Mikey A
Can happen to any quarterback.
Stugatz
Yes. Yeah, yeah.
Billy Gill
My product of the day. Real quick while we wait for, for the next game here.
Stugatz
No, I want to know who you sent the link out to. I want to know who's.
Billy Gill
Well, this person. This person. They were boarding an airplane. I Don't. I don't. I don't think that they're gonna join. I think that what's gonna happen with video roulette is no one's gonna join because it's two days before Christmas and everyone's on vacation and no one wants to be working today.
Stugatz
Boarding an airplane is. Is a pretty. It's a pretty safe excuse to use, is it not?
Billy Gill
Yeah, I was trying. Well, by the way, for all the Lucy fans out there, Lucy will not be joining us today. Today is a travel day for Lucy, which is fine, because here's another segment that I like to call what I learned this weekend. You know what I learned this weekend, Stugach?
Stugatz
What?
Billy Gill
Four teams. Playoff. Just fine. Just fine. We were good with four teams. 12 teams, not necessary. Eight teams, not sure that's going to be necessary either. Four teams.
Stugatz
More than enough, Mikey. It was the absolute worst case scenario for the College Football Playoff. The expanded playoff, the College Football bowl committee, everyone appears like they don't know what they're doing after.
Mikey A
It looks so bad. I mean, the one they had one game that they were trying to hype us up for, they're like, all right, but Tennessee, Ohio state, like, that's sec. Big 10, like, you're. You're gonna get a good end. No, it was over in the first quarter. It was. It was just so bad for everybody. Is just. This is exactly what the playoffs didn't want. This is exactly what the committee didn't want.
Stugatz
It's what I said earlier in the season. Billy. What the expanded playoff is going to do is give the appearance that guys like James Franklin are actually doing a good job. I mean, it's a nonsense. I mean, but don't worry.
Mikey A
Boise State and Arizona State are coming to save the day next week right now.
Stugatz
But James Franklin can say now, hey, I'm one. And oh, in the postseason. Well, you made it there once.
Billy Gill
I mean, so your. Your post or your comment that the college football playoffs are a bad idea because of that exact reason if James Franklin is winning college football playoffs games. Too many teams have made the college football playoffs. Catching a little bit of fire on Saturday. A lot of people in the college football community were. Were spreading that out, so. Good for you, Stu. Guys.
Stugatz
Yeah, they were upset with me.
Billy Gill
No, they were saying you were right. They thought that it was a very good take. I have. I have another game.
Stugatz
Wait, Billy, hold on one second, because I want to ask you guys something. Like, I want you to think about what we have coming up next. The teams that were Waiting to play Penn State and Arizona and Texas were Arizona State and Boise State. What the hell are we doing?
Billy Gill
Seriously, you gotta buy we're gonna see some upsets. In terms of the. The brackets, I think Alabama.
Stugatz
Does it give Penn State.
Billy Gill
All right.
Stugatz
Mississippi.
Billy Gill
Well, them too. Enough of them. I have another game.
Mikey A
One upset. Save it. Does one good upset. Save it. Yeah, like a close enough.
Stugatz
Anything.
Billy Gill
I mean, did. Did Ryan Day. Was his job saved by winning a game he was supposed to win?
Stugatz
No, he has to win two more.
Billy Gill
Oh, okay.
Stugatz
Well, he does. He has to win. Well, he has to win three more, right? Oh, you.
Billy Gill
You wanna. You want a quick winner and loser? Presented by smearing off the world's number one vodka. Please drink responsibly. Not sponsored, but I'm just throwing it in there for funsies.
Mikey A
We still love them.
Billy Gill
Yeah, we still love them. You want a winner and loser? Because I have a big loser from this weekend.
Stugatz
Sure.
Billy Gill
Kurt Signetti. Big loser this weekend. Oh, boy, this guy was flying way too close to the sun this season. He was the darling coach of the year everywhere. Going out there on college game day. We don't just beat top 25 teams, we beat that out of them. No, sir, you do not. You played no one this year. And honestly, if I were you, I would have opted out of the playoffs entirely to keep my stock high and go get a big job when Ryan Day gets fired. But no, no, no, not so fast, my friend. You're stuck in Indiana for the foreseeable future after this.
Stugatz
It is such a great point by Billy that Signetti would have been better off saying, no thanks to the playoffs.
Billy Gill
We're good.
Stugatz
We're not gonna beat my case.
Billy Gill
I would honestly, if I was him, and I'm sure that this has not happened. And Indiana. Indiana hates this show, and I apologize for that and anything that anyone said on this show to piss off Indiana. However, I feel like Kurt Signetti, you know, while teams are out there and they're, you know, petitioning, oh, we deserve to get in. We're a bubble team. We get in. Look at our strength of schedule. Look at her, this and that. Like, all the teams are fighting to get in. I feel like privately, Kurt Signetti should have been going around to, like, the members of the committee. Like, we're good, we're good. Leave us out. It's fine. Like, don't. Like, don't. Don't put us in. We don't. It's fine. Trust me. Like, I'll get you back for this one. And they're like, no, no, you're in, you're in Curry's like, no, no, no, no, no. We don't want to be like, what do you mean?
Stugatz
Back for this one.
Billy Gill
I'll pay you back down the road. Yeah, that's how it works. That's how favors work, you know what I mean? Like he, hey, do me a solid. Don't put us in. Like, don't, please, just don't, don't do it. Don't do it to us and I'll pay you back down the road.
Mikey A
The other worst thing that happened, happened to Signetti is that the hiring cycle didn't start before the playoffs. He might have been able to get out, get, get an LSU job or something before it started.
Billy Gill
Now he's there.
Mikey A
Sorry, Indiana.
Billy Gill
You're in Indiana. You're in Indiana.
Mikey A
And we'll be saying for years, do it in the playoffs.
Billy Gill
Right. I hope you didn't have a short term rental because you're going to be needing to find a longer term place to live there, friend.
Stugatz
So that is like the idea of.
Billy Gill
Signetti having a short term lease because he's not sure about like his special job situation. Yeah, he's staying at like one of those like the hotels that you pay like monthly because it's like you're working, you know, abroad.
Stugatz
Garden Inn or something.
Billy Gill
Yeah, yeah, but one that's like designed like an. A loft or whatever the hell they're called. That's like designed for work. Yeah, like residents in. Exactly right. Mikey.
Stugatz
Mikey A. Do you have a winner or a loser? That was Billy's loser. Do you have a winner or a loser?
Billy Gill
I don't.
Mikey A
We wasn't sponsored. I didn't do it.
Billy Gill
Yeah, yeah, I mean you could, you could have.
Stugatz
Literally, I mean, I have a winner. I have a winner.
Billy Gill
All right, so guys, we'll do your winner and then Mikey has a little bit time to think and we'll get back to him.
Stugatz
Okay? Okay, here's my winner.
Billy Gill
We had a surprise guest, but the guests left trats. Yeah, I know who it was because they only sent the link to one person so far. Boarding a plane probably.
Stugatz
Yeah, my winner, Michael Penix Jr. How about that? I mean he had the interception. They beat a bad Giants team, but he is the Falcons quarterback and he ain't going anywhere. That was that. And the Falcons now have a shot. But the Buccaneers lost last night to win that division. I love the move by the Falcons. Pennix had a good day. Not a great day yet.
Billy Gill
A good day.
Stugatz
It was a good start to An NFL career. But I love the move. That was a bold move because the Falcon, the upside of Michael Penix, to me, they were pretty stagnant with, with Kirk Cousins, but the upside to Michael Penix is a lot greater than playing Kirk Cousins. And so the Falcons, to me and Michael Penix Jr. Big winners yesterday.
Mikey A
All right, I have a winner.
Stugatz
All right, good.
Mikey A
Jonathan Taylor. And it wasn't because he went off in. In your fantasy playoffs, 200 yards and all that. It was because after last week when he dropped the ball before crossing the goal line this week. And I always like when people learn from their mistakes and they. And they don't take themselves so seriously. He runs past the end zone, holds the ball with two hands, runs into the tunnel, comes out, his teammates try and take the ball away, and he will not let it go until the referees literally have to put it down to kick the field goal.
Billy Gill
If. If we were still in high school or if he was still in high school, this would be one of those things where you see him walking around in the hallway holding the ball under his arm because he's not allowed to let go of the football. Exactly right. And he's like, no, I'm exactly right. Yeah. That thing's going nowhere. He's sleeping with that ball.
Stugatz
Why'd we make this the program? I mean, I don't know. It's an old movie.
Mikey A
Great. It is a seat at the table.
Stugatz
Yes. Billy, do you. Where do you want to go here? I will leave it up to you because we have. If the season ended today, you have product of the day. We have a lot of things.
Billy Gill
I had another game I wanted to play, but. Oh, oh, I have another game that I want to play. I forgot what it was, but I just remembered what's that? And this is. This is a tricky one. And maybe we can play it if anyone joins. So this game is a bit of a dangerous game around the holiday time, this game, but it's in the, you know, the spirit of giving and holiday merriment and cheer and all that. This game is called what's your favorite thing that you're going to give someone who's never gonna see this clip? So you're just telling us, like, this is your favorite gift that you've bought someone, that you shouldn't say that you bought someone because they haven't received it yet, but they're never gonna see this clip. So we, we need Thomas who's kind of doing this behind the scenes, and anyone out there who's access to this do not put this on social media where they could potentially see it. This is just us saying, I bought the skiffs for someone. I think it's really cool. But they're not going to watch this, so I can tell you about it. But before we get to that, here's my product of the day. Do you guys have any guesses as to what it is? Oh, someone's in chocolate milk. All right.
Stugatz
No, I'm guessing it's regular milk.
Billy Gill
No, it's not chocolate milk. It's not regular milk. It is a Grinch donut from Krispy Kreme. Check this bad boy. Look at that. It looks just like the Grinch. Isn't that cool?
Stugatz
Yeah. Well, that's why it's called the Grinch Donut. So.
Billy Gill
Yeah, that's it. That was the product of the day.
Stugatz
That's it. That's a big donut.
Billy Gill
It's. Yeah, it has. It has a filling inside of it, which is why it's so fat. It has. I think it's like a cookies and cream type situation. So that's why. Interesting day.
Stugatz
Hot takes.
Mikey A
I don't like filling in my donuts.
Billy Gill
You don't like filling in your donuts? Any type of filling. Oh, nope. All right.
Mikey A
Don't want them.
Stugatz
That's.
Billy Gill
I'm sorry.
Stugatz
Yes. Did you just ask me my product of the day?
Mikey A
He did.
Stugatz
I didn't ask for it. Why am I gonna bring a product to the day? I don't care about your product.
Mikey A
Hey, think on your feet.
Stugatz
Way to think on your feet. 2. Got his personal record book. How about that? The perfect Cris Christmas gift. Go out and buy it right now. Wherever books are sold, go to Amazon.com. buy it. It will be there by Christmas. Stu.
Billy Gill
Guys, it will not. No, it will not. Do not lie to the people.
Stugatz
Okay?
Billy Gill
It definitely will not be there by Christmas. No.
Stugatz
But that's my product. Huh, big guy?
Billy Gill
Hold on, hold on.
Mikey A
Oh, you want mine? Let me just get my copy of Stu Dots's record book that was sent to me.
Billy Gill
Really? I haven't had one sent to me. You had one sent to you?
Mikey A
I. I guess. Guess I. I guess it hasn't arrived yet.
Billy Gill
It'll arrive before Christmas, though, he alleges. Can I. Can I share. Can I share something with you? So we did an office White Elephant last week, and the gift that Stu guys contributed to the office White Elephant was a wrapped book. Not that one. There. There is. There is that one. That he. That. He's promoting it.
Stugatz
Billy, I know this is. We're not sending video out, but I'm.
Billy Gill
Just promoting my book. There's. Well, this is going to go out. There was two. There was two things that he had wr. One was his book that said to my co worker loves to gods. Or something along the lines that he personalized, which is very nice.
Mikey A
To my cherished co worker.
Billy Gill
No, just to my co worker.
Stugatz
My co worker. Yeah.
Billy Gill
And. And the other one was a book about Pete Rose, I believe it was called Charlie Hustle or something like that that a publisher sent to him. That on the inside actually had a, like, you know, a message said to stugats, I hope you enjoyed the book. And it was autographed by the. The author.
Stugatz
It was, yeah.
Billy Gill
Those were his contributions to White Elephant this year.
Stugatz
Yeah, yeah, that was it. Yeah. It's a big gift, though. I mean, everyone wanted it.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Stugatz
It's Charlie Hustle. Thomas. Thomas tells me via. Via text here that the first surprise guest was in the house, but not big enough. Can we bring Thomas on? Are we allowed to bring Thomas on?
Billy Gill
That's a Thomas question. I don't know if Thomas wants to come on.
Stugatz
I'm wondering who that guest was that Thomas did not. Did not allow inside. So.
Billy Gill
Well, I mean, not big enough is kind of. Kind of insulting. I think, Mikey, it might be time for you to send out the bat signal on your guest that you wanted and see if the person joins. I think that person will join with.
Mikey A
I'm just sending the link, right? That's.
Billy Gill
Yeah, just send the link. Well, you can. You can sit, you can. You can give a little background as to what we're doing. It. You. You can give them a heads up. I've given people a heads up as to what's going on. I sent one out to Taylor. Taylor said he was boarding a plane. He couldn't do it. Then he said, I don't have headphones. And I said, put it on speakerphone. And he. He's saying he's pushing back on that. So Taylor will not be joining us? Unfortunately. No.
Stugatz
He's headed home for the holidays.
Billy Gill
Holiday songs. Traveling on the. The 23rd is kind of crazy. Like, what was he doing? He was here all weekend. Why didn't you just get out of town, get out of Dodge last Wednesday like most other people in our office did.
Stugatz
Would you leave the weather we just had over this past weekend to go up to where Taylor's going up, which is the north. Get out of here, man.
Mikey A
I'm sorry. It was 12 degrees here. What's wrong with that?
Stugatz
72. Not a cloud in the sky every day, man. It's unbelievable, really. Dolphins still in the mix?
Billy Gill
I mean, not. They are, but they're. They're not. I. I have a lot of Dolphins, like, fan friends and family members that are like, I think they're gonna. I think they're gonna do it. I think they're gonna make the playoffs. I'm like, they are not going to make the playoffs. Please stop doing this to yourself. It was a nice win. It's a good win against the 49ers. A down year for the 49ers, but a good win against the 49ers. Tyree kill. Catch the ball. What are you doing? Friends? Like, what is it? Oh, well, I, you know, I'm not getting enough reps in with two. Like, dude, it's hitting you in the numbers. It's bouncing off your hands. Like, catch the ball. Catch the ball. Yes. You need wrist surgery. Let me ask you guys a question, and I'm repositioning for this question. Let me ask you guys a question.
Stugatz
Yeah.
Billy Gill
If it's advised to you that you need surgery and you opt out of said surgery, are you then allowed to just use that as an excuse forever? Because in my head, when you said, you know what? I'm not going to do the surgery, then that excuse is out the window. No more. I needed surgery. You decided not to have surgery, and you are costing this team games because of that decision. You can't throw in our faces. I needed surgery. Anytime something doesn't go wrong or anytime something goes wrong on a decision you made, right.
Stugatz
If you needed surgery, you could opted in.
Billy Gill
Have surgery. Go have surgery. Need surgery. Go have surgery. I come out here and be dropping touchdowns left and right.
Stugatz
Hold on a second.
Billy Gill
I needed surgery.
Stugatz
Slow down. Because Mikey, A. Who is. Who was a minute removed from saying that Tariq Hill is washed, is now disagreeing with your take. Go ahead, Mikey. Why do you disagree?
Mikey A
It's. It's the ultimate Stu Gotts thing to build yourself an excuse to then be bad at something.
Stugatz
Right.
Mikey A
It's to say. It's to say, I would have done that, but I care about the team more, right?
Stugatz
Yes, but he's been offered a solution. Like he's offered a solution here where he.
Mikey A
Because his solution would have taken him away from the team, right? Me being here.
Stugatz
So he's gotten it out. Yeah.
Billy Gill
Yeah, I think. I think he needs surgery. I think he needs surgery, but it's not the surgery he thinks he needs. He thinks he needs. He thinks he needs a wrist surgery. I think he needs hand replacement surgery because, God, it has been awful the past few weeks, dropping third downs left and right.
Stugatz
Yeah. How about your boy Sanders, though?
Billy Gill
I mean, this team is only where they are because of Jason Sanders. He is the MVP of this team. It's insane. He's the only reliable person on this team. Unless it's an extra point for some reason, which is. Was weird. And I had someone. I had someone reach out to me and make the suggestion, and I want to run it past you guys because he has been lights out on field goal attempts. The extra points are dicey for some reason. So this person was telling me and suggested and I'm gonna run it past you. Just take a bunch of penalties, like a bunch of false starts or whatever, and just keep moving that ball back until it's right in his sweet spot and the extra point becomes like a 50 yarder and then we're good.
Stugatz
I like it. 52 yard extra points or make the.
Mikey A
Easy ones either way.
Billy Gill
Well, but I mean, those are easy for him.
Stugatz
That's what Billy said.
Billy Gill
That's the thing. Those are the ones.
Stugatz
Yes, yes. He struggles with 25 yards. So. So you're saying Tariq Hill needs. Needs hand replacement surgery.
Billy Gill
Hand replacement surgery. New hands.
Stugatz
Who. Whose hands would you take and put on Tariq Hill's body? Because there was a movie, old school movie called Body Part where they took someone's. I believe it was their arm, I don't know. And they, they. They attached it onto someone who needed an arm and that person took. That took the other person's personality. So I like Chris Carter for me, would be the perfect hands for Tariq Hill. That guy admits dude, you know, but then he turns into Chris Carter. You get what I'm saying?
Billy Gill
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Mikey A
They did a Simpsons parody of it.
Billy Gill
No, in this situation, you. You take the person's hands, their hands are gone. They're still the same person, just with another person's hands.
Stugatz
Right. That's what they thought. Body parts, Billy. And I'm telling you, the guy turned into a murderer. I mean.
Billy Gill
No, no, no. Well, I.
Mikey A
No, no current player.
Billy Gill
That's a question. A current player, former player, or just anyone in the world.
Mikey A
I got the answer.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Mikey A
Adam Thielen.
Billy Gill
Wow. Okay.
Mikey A
Give Tyree kill Adam Thielen. And Adam Thielen doesn't need them anymore anymore because he's in Carolina.
Billy Gill
Okay?
Mikey A
Just wasting away.
Billy Gill
So I googled best hands in the first picture.
Stugatz
This is the oldest Adam Thielen need his hands Anymore.
Billy Gill
This is the research that I did. Well, hold on. Does Adam Thielen get Tyree kills hands?
Stugatz
Yeah.
Billy Gill
Okay, good. So hand swap?
Mikey A
Like a face off situation?
Billy Gill
Well, I just did it. I didn't want Adam Thielen walking around holiday time without hands, so I'm just glad he gets some.
Mikey A
I wouldn't do that to him.
Billy Gill
Okay, so how about Larry Fitzgerald?
Mikey A
Too old.
Stugatz
I take his ass.
Billy Gill
Okay, well, I mean, this is the hand replacement game.
Stugatz
Well, I'm talking about ass replacement now. Okay?
Billy Gill
Come on, it's Christmas.
Mikey A
It's surgery for that.
Billy Gill
What about.
Stugatz
You want me to reach out or send.
Billy Gill
Send them the link. Don't explain. Yeah, Big Dog.
Stugatz
Big Dog. Okay.
Billy Gill
Oh, you know what I played?
Stugatz
I played golf with them in Tahoe, Billy. Like, I really know I did.
Billy Gill
Okay, can I tell you something?
Stugatz
I'm gonna send them the link.
Billy Gill
This. This Tahoe trip.
Stugatz
Yeah.
Billy Gill
Really doesn't do anything for us because you make all these contacts, but you refuse to text any of them. Big Dog. You know, hop on, Big Dog or whatever.
Stugatz
I'll do better.
Billy Gill
I think. I think. Well, hold on a second. Send it to Josh. Tell Josh.
Stugatz
This is, I think, sending anything to Josh.
Billy Gill
Yeah, I think. I think this is what you do. Send it to Josh. I think this is what you do for Baker, for Josh, for Thielen. This is what you do when you sit. That's fine. It doesn't matter. This is what you do. No, it doesn't.
Mikey A
Did great.
Billy Gill
This is what you do, Baker. Josh Thielen, really? NFL. Any NFL player. And you can send it to Raheem Mostert. We haven't heard from him all season. I don't know what's going on there. This is. This is what you do. You just send them the link and be like, hey, here's the link for. For 9:15. And like, there's a chance that they think that they forgot that they had something to do, and then they just hop on the link. You know what I mean?
Stugatz
Yes. So, I mean, gonna know if I just send them a link. He's gonna be like, did we agree to do something? Because he knows what I do, but.
Mikey A
When in doubt, question it.
Billy Gill
When in doubt.
Mikey A
And then just hit it and be like, whatever.
Stugatz
So. No, and if he says that, I'll say, hey, don't you remember last week we. We talked. I sent you a link.
Billy Gill
You don't even.
Mikey A
Oh, sorry. I meant to send this to Adam Shine.
Billy Gill
No, just be like, oh, no, I.
Mikey A
Sent it to the wrong Adam.
Billy Gill
This is for video Roulette. Like, and then they'll know. Oh, video roulette. Yeah, of course. That's what we're doing. Yeah.
Stugatz
Okay.
Mikey A
Shine and feeling probably right next to.
Billy Gill
Each other, but you got to say, hey, big dog. Here's, here's the link for 915. Hit him with a big dog.
Stugatz
Okay, I'll hit him with a big dog.
Billy Gill
Not Chef.
Stugatz
No, no, I'm not asking shefter. It could be. I could say oh, instead of Adam.
Billy Gill
Shirley Shafter, though. If you send Shirley Shafter the link. Happy holidays to all of us.
Stugatz
Yes. Happy holidays to the chef. Stachier. I want to tell you a story. I'm serious here. My wife and my two daughters, they begged me to buy a peloton. So I bought a peloton. And then I watched that peloton sit in my office and stare at me. So you know what I did one day? I looked at it and so I decided to get off my ass and I jumped off the peloton because no one else was using it and I paid for it. I mean, so why not? Then I realized eventually that they bought it for me. And I got to tell you, way more challenging than I could have ever imagined. Peloton coaches are walking the walk. I love the coaches. I do the Grateful Dead one. It's fantastic. They have a sub 3 hour marathon runner, military trained athlete, a former college basketball player, and so many other well rounded coaches on their team. All this experience really shows in their classes, which are never short of challenging, especially for me. So I jumped on it that first time. It was challenging, more challenging than I thought. And then I wanted to beat the bike and so I kept jumping on it and I absolutely love it. I mean, I'm the only one who uses it, but again, they got it for me. I mean, I had no idea. That's a little passive aggressive, don't you think? Find your push, Find Your Power with peloton@1peloton.com this episode is brought to you by Honda. When you test drive the all electric.
Mikey A
Prologue suv, there's a lot that could.
Stugatz
Impress you about it.

Billy Gill
But out of everything, what you'll really.
Mikey A
Love most is that it's a Honda.
Stugatz
Visit honda.comev to see offers. Whether you're ordering wings for the game.
Billy Gill

Mikey A

Stugatz

Stugatz

Billy Gill
Yeah, that is a doorbell. All right, bring them in. Thomas. Who's our first surprise guest? Hey.
Dan Le Batard
Go Irish.
Billy Gill
Hello. How are you?
Dan Le Batard
I'm really excited. Thomas just texted me and told me you were doing this. And I was like, well, I'm waiting for my hit with golick in like 15 minutes, so this is perfect timing.
Billy Gill
You are, if I may say, in an oddly shaped room.
Dan Le Batard
Yeah, Billy, you're a hundred percent right.
Billy Gill
It looks like, like too many walls. Yeah, there's like they're closing in. Is it five sided? What? How many?
Mikey A
I can see all four walls of that room.
Billy Gill
There's a hexagon walls. Okay.
Dan Le Batard
This has been. This is the. The room that I grew up in. And this was my struggle my entire life.
Billy Gill
Where do I explain my bed?
Dan Le Batard
I don't understand.
Stugatz
I mean.
Billy Gill
Yeah, Starting to get it everywhere.
Dan Le Batard
It's so confusing. But we recently repainted because when I was. Was a child, this room was hot pink and bright yellow.
Stugatz
All.
Dan Le Batard
All six walls.
Billy Gill
Did you have posters on your wall growing up? Yes, are you kidding?
Dan Le Batard
Of course.
Billy Gill
Who the posters?
Dan Le Batard
Joe Theisman, Brady Quinn. I mean, name. Name your Notre Dame football player from 2005 to 2010. Tom Zabakowski? No. Jimmy Clausen. I had a bunch. I had like a. I had so many posters. Billy, there a bunch of soccer players. I was really into soccer.
Billy Gill
Yeah, same. Look at me.
Dan Le Batard
Yeah, a lot of Ronaldo.
Stugatz
You're not in the soccer.
Dan Le Batard
Troy Palomalu. I had newspaper clippings from the Steelers super bowl from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette from 2006 or 2005. The Seahawks one all over my bedroom wall.
Billy Gill
So, yeah, college football's dead, right?
Stugatz
Yep.
Dan Le Batard
It is never been more popular than it is right now. Like this weekend is just evidence that college football, like the amount of hot takes coming after these games that were like mostly duds. Everyone wants to talk about it. It has never been more alive than it is now.
Billy Gill
Are you going to the next one? Are you traveling with. With Notre Dame?
Dan Le Batard
I'm traveling with Lehman. We're going to New Orleans for New Year's Eve.
Billy Gill
Oh, wow.
Stugatz
Very nice. Well, hold on. Yes, put us. Because you went to the game with your family, right? You were at the game at Notre Dame.
Dan Le Batard
Yeah.
Stugatz
How'd that go with your dad? Because you guys, you know, you've told the stories about you and your dad yelling at each other even while winning.
Dan Le Batard
So actually like, Notre Dame kicked so much ass that there was not a single moment while I was sitting in that stadium that I was like, don't get me wrong, when Indiana recovered the onside kick, I was like, is this Indiana kicker the best onside kick kicker in all of college football? That was a beautiful onside kick. And then he almost nailed the second one. I was like, okay, what's going on here? Al golden like, put the defense back out on the field. Notre Dame kind of just let them score those two garbage time touchdowns. There's like a minute left. But I wasn't really concerned. There was never really a point in the game where I was concerned. Even after the first Riley Leonard, the only Riley Leonard interception, the tip pass, I was like, that was kind of a lucky play. There was an Indiana guy right there that caught it. And then the next play, Xavier Watts picks it off and then Jeremiah loves hits the 98 yard touchdown. So I mean, like from the 11 minute mark in the first quarter to the end of the game, I was like, this is great. We're winning. Everyone's so happy. Everyone was such a good mood. My, my parents were happy. I wasn't even cold. I was so happy. I wasn't cold.
Stugatz
Wow. Okay. Billy thinks Ignetti would have been better off not taking the playoff berth at all. Just saying, no, thanks, I'm good. I made my case. What do you think?
Dan Le Batard
I think I've never seen a coach's reputation get tanked so quickly than his did in that game. Like, he went from like the college football darling. He won so many coach of the year awards. He was finalist for about AP coach of the year. And then he punts on fourth and 11 in the fourth quarter, down three possessions in a playoff game with 10 minutes left, he punts. And then after the game he's like, well, my offense wasn't doing anything. And I'm like, so you put your defense back out on the field? Like that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But yeah, I mean, he, he kind of coached scared, conservative game. They fair caught every single kickoff. They didn't do anything that we haven't seen this season. And it was just a really conservative game plan against a team that everyone knew was a lot better than Indiana. And if you want to win a game like that in college football, sometimes you, you know, roll the dice a little bit, see if you can get lucky. And until the last minute and a half of the game when they actually tried to go for an onside kick, it just felt like they had given up.
Stugatz
You feel validated, Billy?
Billy Gill
I mean, I said he was my loser the weekend.
Dan Le Batard
Oh, 100. I mean, you guys heard him go on game day and talk about, like, we don't just beat top 25 teams. We beat the out of them. Like, don't what? What are you talking about?
Stugatz
Name one.
Dan Le Batard
You don't. I also, I, I don't know what happened in the post game handshake between him and Marcus Freeman, but he looked like he kept talking. And Marcus Freeman had already moved on to his interview with Molly McGrath. He was like, okay, buddy, I don't know. That was very smart. I mean, he should have done the, the Mac Brown and like, clutched Marcus's neck and pulled him in because y was kind of a weird handshake.
Billy Gill
What did you think of the awkward post game press conference where Marcus Froome was invited to the next round? I love it. I, I, I accept. We accept.
Dan Le Batard
Like, can I say we accept? Yeah. So, like, this was at all of the first round games. The reps from the New York six bowl games that are hosting the quarterfinals presented a game ball and, like, formally invited the head coach to their bowl games. This is such a vestige of like, like, old college football, and everyone is ripping college football for having this sort of, like, ridiculous. Like, this is not necessary. This formality is not necessary. But I love it. I love the bowl games. I love the guys in suits that go to games all season long and scout out who they want to invite to the bowl games. I love that there was randomly a guy there who's like, do you want to come to the Sugar Bowl? Marcus was like, yeah. I also, I saw like, a couple jokes about people that were like, like, Oregon should decline their invitation to the Rose bowl and just claim the national championship. And I totally agree with that. Like, if this were 2005 or two, I don't know, like 15 years ago, they could have just been like, well, we went undefeated. We won the Big Ten. We're in the Rose Bowl. We won the national championship. Thanks. We're all done here. Just claim it. Who cares?
Billy Gill
What, what if? Okay, what if they decline their invitation to the Rose bowl? And then the other Bulls are like, well, hold on a second. Sugar Bowl. We want him now. Like, we want, we want Oregon. And then they all start scrambling to grab the team that they awesome.
Dan Le Batard
That also, like, I don't Know what I'm talking about? UCF claimed a national title, like, what, seven years ago? Like, this is still a thing. People need to claim more national championships. Kurt Signetti should have just claimed one last week and not played in the ball game. He should have opted out because I'm with you, Billy. That was also with the fact that, like, a lot of the players on their team are transfers and they're not going to be around next year and, like, the schedule is going to get harder. Like, huge, Huge L for Kurt Signetti. And like, look, it brings me no joy to say this. He's a Ginzer. He's got Ginzers on his staff. Tino sincerely, is their offensive coordinator. Okay. This is like, we're multiple Ginzers deep on the scout here for Indiana, but, man, it was brutal.
Stugatz
We're ready to go back to four teams, Jess.
Dan Le Batard
I mean, yeah, I mean, I think, like, the biggest issue right now is why are the four highest ranked conference champions the four buy teams? Maybe things would have been bigger if you just ranked it outright. The top four teams get a buy. Yes, I'm. They're gonna expand it to 14 in 2016 and then do two highs. Oh, yes. But I don't know. I mean, I think the, you know, for as much, you know, bad football as there was this weekend, for lack of a better term, like, the four home sites brought it. I thought, like, even, you know, even like the first two minutes of the Penn State game when it was like, oh, this is fun. Like, it was cool to see college football postseason games on campus. And I hope that that's the bigger takeaway this weekend. Like, sure, the matchups could have been better. Texas, Clemson actually was like, almost a pretty good game. But the home sites I thought was. Was pretty awesome. And that was all along, I think, what sold it for a lot of people when they expanded it to 12.
Stugatz
No, that part of it was cool. But it was a colossal loss for the committee. College football, the expanded playoff just. They needed one game to be close. They needed an upset. They got nothing. None of these teams, the games are.
Dan Le Batard
Like, the games in general aren't close. Like, college football games tend to have big golfs between the winner and the loser. But when you're only playing field involved.
Stugatz
Yeah, especially true.
Dan Le Batard
Yeah. When you're only playing four on a weekend. Like, this is a point that I've, I've heard a lot of people make this weekend. Like, it's a little bit of selection bias. Like, yeah, these four were, were huge blowouts. A lot of the games on your average Saturday are huge blowouts. But you flip to the close game and watch it and then you're like, wow, what a crazy day this was. But yeah, I, I think that, like, I think that it's kind of a example of the committee getting it right because the higher seeds all won. And in a tournament like the higher siege should get rewarded a with the home team and the easier matchup. And I think that kind of was how it worked out. Right? Like, none of these teams needed to play a close game for you to know that they were the better four teams in the bracket. So that part I think did kind of work out.
Stugatz
The major. The major problem for me is at least for a week, James Franklin is the guy that can now win the big game. Like, get the hell out of here, Jess.
Dan Le Batard
I mean, I. That side of the bracket is looking pretty good if you're James Franklin. Because if you can beat Boise State, they are good. Yeah, they are good. They didn't have to do a lot to beat SMU because SMU beat themselves like very early on in the game. But if you beat Boise State in the Fiesta bowl, you're gonna end up playing against Notre Dame or Georgia. Georgia without its quarterback, obviously. Carson Beck's not playing. That is a really, really fierce Georgia team. But if you figure they can win, maybe, maybe you get one game with the backup quarterback. Like, I feel like the odds have got to be low that they can win two in a row. So that's a nice little bracket set up for Penn State. They might be playing in the Orange bowl in a couple weeks.
Stugatz
Billy and Mikey a just, you know, Mikey, you know Golick very well. You know Golik Jr. Billy, you've gotten to know them. Notre Dame fans, they tend to get very confident and very cocky. They play Georgia next week. If I asked Jess, do you think Notre Dame is going to win the national championship? I'm asking you first, Mikey, what do you think her response would be? Of course.
Mikey A
I mean, I don't think her mouth can form the words. No, they're not.
Stugatz
Billy, you agree?
Billy Gill
Hold on a second. I have a question. Jess, you said you're gonna do a go looking and gojo hit or go join goal. Like yeah, what. What is the best thing you're going to tell us and. Or tell them and tell us first.
Dan Le Batard
Oh, I. That's a really. That's a way harder question, Billy. Let me think about that, Mikey. A. You don't know how self loathing I am. Like, you're so wrong. Did I.
Stugatz
People.
Dan Le Batard
I went on so many podcasts last week where they're like, like, is Notre Dame going to beat Indiana? Like, they're favored by eight points. They should beat them. And I'm like, I can't say. I don't. I. I don't want to say. Yes, like, it. There's a generational divide among the Mike Golics of the world, who is the same age as my dad and the Jesus Matanas and the Michael Juniors of the world, who grew up in the 2000s when the Notre Dame football program was in a terrible spot. The administration made some bad hires, the culture was terrible, the football was bad. And so we are all very hurt people. We don't believe in nice things. And yes, like, I should believe that this team can win a national championship on. I mean, they are spectacular. They have amazing players. Xavier Watts is one of the best players in college football. Jeremiah, love that 98 yard touchdown run. He's unbelievable. He's gonna be an early Heisman favorite next year. They are a really good football team. I think Marcus Freeman has done an incredible job this season, but I am so, so, so deeply hurt by the 2005 team, the 2007 team, the 2016 team. All these times where you're like, man, this. This is gonna be great, and then something terrible happens. So, no, I. I don't take winning for granted as a Notre Dame football fan, which is the opposite of what anyone in their 60s will tell you, because my dad's been to national championship games. He's been to. You know, he was at the Miami game in 1988. He's seen Notre Dame win these games and win them again and win them again, and I just can't relate to that. So I'm happy for him. And they're the greedy ones. They're like, yeah, we're gonna win it all. And me. And. Me and Gojo are like, please, Lord, just let us. Let us do something that's not embarrassing.
Stugatz
We'll let you go here because we know you got it wrong. But. So you're telling me that dad is expecting Notre Dame to beat Georgia by 28 points?
Dan Le Batard
Every single Notre Dame grad over the age of like, 45, probably, or maybe 50 is. Yeah. They're like, oh, like, this is gonna be easy. I'm just excited for New Year's Eve in New Orleans. I've had this circled on my calendar for a few weeks now. I'm like, lehman, if Notre Dame wins against Indiana, which we're not allowed to talk about because we don't want to jinx it.
Stugatz
Just this is.
Dan Le Batard
This is what we're doing for New Year's Eve. And then, sure enough, game ended. I tailgate in the parking lot for like an hour. It was like 1:00 in the morning, Friday night or Saturday morning. And I was like, lehman, New Year's Eve in New Orleans. And he was like, chuck, your Delta app. And he booked us flights. And I was like, yes.
Stugatz
Wow, that's a good man right there. I like that.
Dan Le Batard
I still need tickets, though.
Stugatz
But that's another story you have playing.
Billy Gill
Game time. Game time. You listen, you're out there. Anyone?
Dan Le Batard
Game time on the Notre Dame side.
Stugatz
Listen, when you go on to go look and go Joe, ask them for tickets. I'm certain.
Billy Gill
Yeah, exactly. Right.
Dan Le Batard
That's actually. Okay. That's the best thing I'll say.
Billy Gill
You probably have to stand. You'll stand in the parking lot, not do a pregame power up hit or something, but after that, you're good.
Dan Le Batard
I'm fine with that. I. I had to sit on the Clemson side for the Cotton Bowl a few years ago. That was brutal.
Billy Gill
It was a brutal game.
Dan Le Batard
I don't want to do that.
Stugatz
Well, thank you for joining us. From your hexagon. It's the oddest room I've ever seen.
Dan Le Batard
Thank you for saying that.
Stugatz
Thank you, Smetty. Good luck to Notre Dame. Have fun. Have fun. New Year's Eve in New Orleans. And that sounds like a great time. Happy holidays to you and your family. Family.
Dan Le Batard
Yeah, you too. Bye, guys.
Stugatz
Thank you. Notre Dame. Jesus, kids. Dan. Notre Dame.
Billy Gill
So one person on video roulette. Was it a success?
Stugatz
Yes. Yes.
Billy Gill
She's.
Stugatz
She's bigger than a C list, Billy. I'm sorry you're gonna be offended by that.
Billy Gill
No, I didn't. Thomas invited her. So. Listen, Thomas is the one that deemed her C list, not me.
Stugatz
All right, do we. Do we want to do with the season ended today? I know we have Billy's big board bets. There's a Monday night game coming up. I think we discussed colle enough. It's terrible. It's a joke. It's absolutely ridiculous. They should be ashamed of themselves. And I am. With Billy. We should go back to four teams. And computers, by the way.
Billy Gill
Yeah, and computers.
Mikey A
Okay.
Stugatz
Yeah, yep. PCs and IT.
Billy Gill
Right. Okay.
Stugatz
This is ludicrous. So what are we doing? I mean, it's like watching the NCAA tour. It's like watching March Madness. I mean, you get an occasional upset. For the most part, it's Kansas beating Illinois State. By 50 points. It was a joke over the weekend. Who's watching these games?
Billy Gill
You want to know how I know that video roulette was not going to take off the way that I thought and was hoping that it would? And. And it's just because of the time of the day. It's because the was no heads up. And it's because of the time of the year, too, that we're a couple days away from the holidays. You know how I knew it wasn't going to take off, Stewart? Because the people that just no answered us were people that 100% would always join these situations. You want to know some of the names that just no answered us?
Stugatz
So these are the people that would normally join us but did not answer us today.
Billy Gill
These people got actual links sent to them and just never materialized.
Stugatz
Okay.
Billy Gill
Mikey C got an invite. Never answered, never materialized.
Dan Le Batard
Wow.
Stugatz
But I mean, he's probably seeking approval. He needs permission to come on.
Billy Gill
But here's. Here's the win win of the situation behind the scenes. Mikey C has been just hounding us for months and months and months to join and never has. But now the invite was set up or sent out and now we can just throw it back in his face. Like, buddy, we said you had your shot. What do you want me to do? That was it. But he did not join.
Stugatz
Mikey A is familiar with. With this creature's work, Billy. He will somehow spin it and turn it around on us.
Billy Gill
No, he like fault. No, no, no, no, no. Well, a bit of sabotage that was in the works in which Mikey C won. Mikey A or Mikey. All right, I'm getting confused with the Mikey's. Mikey A, when Mikey C. Joined, was going to tell Mikey C. That the reason he hasn't been on is because of me, because I've been blocking him from joining, which is going to really make my life miserable for years to come. But he didn't join. So what are you gonna do? Lorenzo was sent an invite. He did not join today.
Mikey A
Make it like me and you ask weekly to have Mikey C on.
Stugatz
And do you remember the episode. Do you remember the episode where I had Mikey A and Mikey A. Do you remember this? Mikey C was on. You were on. I had Mikey T on. It was Mikey T. Mikey C. Mikey A.
Mikey A
Yes.
Stugatz
Anyway, it was very confusing. Yeah. Lorenzo, happy holidays.
Billy Gill
Believe you, Mikey. Mikey had a big invite that was sent out. Shockingly, no response. Who did you send it to?
Mikey A
Well, if we were going to have Mikey C. On the. The matchup, we've all been dying to See Mikey C. And K. Funk. I sent it to K. Funk.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Mikey A
No answer.
Stugatz
No chance.
Billy Gill
All right, you want. You want my big board bets really quickly and then we can kind of head out of here because my wife's gonna kill me because this is supposed to. I told her it has a 20 minutes starting at 8:00 and it's almost 10 now.
Stugatz
Adam feeling didn't get back to me, by the way.
Billy Gill
Big dog, huh? Unfortunate. All right, my first one today, three wins. I mean, Josh Jacobs over ninety and a half rushing yards.
Stugatz
All right. Josh Jacobs tonight.
Billy Gill
Yeah. The reason is because the Saints have a bad rush defense and it is supposed to snow. So we'll see what happens. I'm not going to Green Bay.
Stugatz
It's Saints and Packers tonight. The packers might be the best team in the NFL. That division is loaded between the packers and. And the Vikings and of course the Lions. That's a ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous division.
Billy Gill
All right, my next one. Mvs. Over two and a half receiving yards.
Stugatz
Listen, it's either gonna be zero or a hundred. Okay.
Mikey A
Receiving yards or receptions or.
Billy Gill
Sorry, receptions. Receptions. Thank you. Receiving yards would have been quite the gift I was giving myself.
Mikey A
I was gonna say receiving yards.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Stugatz
So you're going mvs, over two. And a half. And a half.
Billy Gill
Yeah. Over two and a half receptions. We'll see what happens.
Stugatz
Okay. We'll see. Yes, we will. That's all we could do. Billy.
Billy Gill
You see what happened after. After a two and five week last week, I'm not feeling confident about anything. And here is one that is really, really out there. But I. I want to have fun with my friends today. So I'm gonna go. Spencer Rattler over 0.5 touchdowns. He just needs to throw one.
Stugatz
All right. All right.
Billy Gill
It's gonna be a snowy day. I don't know how much he's gonna be throwing. Hopefully he's throwing to MVS when he is throwing. But also, Aven Kamara does not appear to be.
Stugatz
He's not playing tonight. Yeah.
Billy Gill
So we're gonna have to. They're gonna have to have the offense come from somewhere, so I'm hoping that it's via the air into MVS if possible.
Stugatz
All right, Anything else, you guys? Anything else you want to get into.
Billy Gill
Today we haven't gotten to yet.
Stugatz
Let's do it real quickly, then we'll get out of here. Mikey, do you have. If the season ended today for us?
Mikey A
I sure do.
Stugatz
Cool.
Billy Gill
And do you have a gift that you got someone that you really like that you can tell us about? Because they're never going to see this. No, that's fine. Okay. Never mind.
Stugatz
I didn't send anyone gifts.
Billy Gill
I mean, really.
Stugatz
We know. Oh, yours is coming.
Mikey A
Billy and I are well aware.
Billy Gill
All right, well, I'm gonna give you options on gifts.
Stugatz
You want options? I'll give you options. You want some options? You can have the gift that I was gonna give you, or I'll send you the book.
Billy Gill
Now, the thing is that that's implying that there was a game.
Mikey A
I was just gonna say, either way, I think I'm winding up with nothing.
Stugatz
One plus one equals nothing.
Billy Gill
All right. If the season ended today.
Mikey A
If the season ended today, the Buffalo Bills would be playing host to the Denver Broncos.
Stugatz
Wow. So, Billy, I do believe the Broncos are going to lose their final two games here. I don't know if that means they're not going to make. Make the playoffs, but those games are difficult. Yeah. It's possible that they'll lose those two games. So maybe the Dolphins can sneak in. Maybe the Bengals could sneak in. Maybe the Colts could still sneak. Oh, I want the Bengals in so bad.
Mikey A
I want the Bengals in so bad.
Stugatz
I know.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Stugatz
So the Bills play who? The Broncos. Right. Now, if the season ended today. That's a blowout.
Mikey A
Yeah. Well, if the season ended today, the Pittsburgh Steelers would be playing host to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Stugatz
They played already, right? They did, yeah. Regular season Steelers won that game.
Billy Gill
How do you guys feel about the Christmas Day games?
Mikey A
It's funny you should mention that, Billy, because if the season ended today, the Houston Texans would be playing host to the Baltimore Ravens, which is actually a Christmas Day game.
Stugatz
The Ravens would win that game. I feel like.
Mikey A
There'S something wrong in Houston this year. Just. I mean, I know they have enough wins to, like, win that division, but that. That doesn't really matter. Like, there's something. There's something off in Houston this year. Right.
Stugatz
I. I agree with that. I'm looking up to see if the Steelers played the Chargers this year. I thought they did.
Mikey A
Well, while you look that up, let's go to the season ended today in the nfc.
Stugatz
Wait, Mikey, you think the Ravens would win that game, right? Ravens over the top.
Mikey A
I think the Ravens win that game.
Billy Gill
Game.
Mikey A
Although. Although the Ravens always lose that game. Ravens always lose that game in the playoffs. The one that you're like, oh, Ravens will win that game.
Stugatz
No.
Mikey A
No, they don't.
Stugatz
No, the Raven game that they lose. I could see them beating Houston. It's the home game that they lose. I feel like. Right. Maybe being on the road will be a good thing for Baltimore this year. All right, so season ended today. What do you have?
Mikey A
The season ended today. Remember that great game we saw yesterday between the Eagles and Commanders? Let's do it again this time and fill it up.
Stugatz
Wow. Wow.
Mikey A
Yeah.
Stugatz
But if the season ends today, Jalen Hurts will be out with a concussion, huh?
Mikey A
Yeah.
Billy Gill
You seem excited about that. That's an odd.
Stugatz
Well, it gives Washington a chance to pull off the upset, that's all.
Mikey A
I mean, Kenny Pickett, superstar.
Stugatz
Thankfully for the Eagles, the season doesn't end today. Billy. That's all.
Billy Gill
I would say it's looking bad. Kenny Pickett was. Kenny Pickett's up. Two touchdowns on you. It's not looking great, but no, Commanders figured it out. Out.
Stugatz
Guys, have we arrived at the. The Chiefs need a loss.
Billy Gill
They've needed one. They've needed a loss for a while now.
Mikey A
They've been. They've been.
Billy Gill
Yeah, they're well due for a loss, like. And they're. They're. Man, they're playing with fire. Not getting it. I don't know what.
Stugatz
I know. But now. So they don't really need to win these games. They have the one seed pretty much sewed up here. So, like, tanking a game and actually losing a game are two different things, you know?
Billy Gill
They're not gonna lose on Christmas. I shouldn't say that, but they're not gonna. They're not gonna tank on Christmas.
Stugatz
No, you're right. But they need to lose. That is what we're saying. That's the last chance they have to lose.
Billy Gill
I mean, look. Look, if. If I was Travis Kelsey or if I was Patrick Mahomes or. I mean, if I was even. I really. I think it comes down to Taylor. I think Taylor needs to call Andy and be like Andy. Why do we need to go to Pittsburgh? Pittsburgh for Christmas? We don't want that. I'm sure it's lovely there at this time of year. We don't want that. Let's not do that. And then, sure enough, boom, that's it. There's their loss. And they don't even travel to Pittsburgh. I mean, some people Travel, but, like, DeAndre Hopkins will be playing in that game, but.
Stugatz
And then you get Pittsburgh that false hope in the event that they have to, you know, travel to Kansas City in the playoffs and play that team. Right. Oh, yeah. Maybe we can beat this team.
Billy Gill
All right. If the segment ended now, what are we doing?
Mikey A
Well, if the season ended today.
Stugatz
Yeah.
Mikey A
The Rams would be hosting the Packers. Couple of lafleur is cutting it up.
Billy Gill
Wow.
Stugatz
Wow. I take the Rams in that game. They're hot, by the way.
Billy Gill
Yeah.
Stugatz
We'll finish on this, though. All right. Do you have more? If the season ended today. Do we have to get.
Mikey A
There's one more game if you wanted to get to all them.
Stugatz
All right, we'll get to all of them. Then. I'll say what I have to say.
Mikey A
Falcons hosting the Vikings.
Stugatz
I have the Falcons winning the Super Bowl.
Billy Gill
God bless football.
Stugatz
I didn't say the thing. I was going to say say the thing. No, I'll tease it for Friday.
Billy Gill
Friday.
Stugatz
We're not doing this again.
Billy Gill
We're doing this again.
Stugatz
