Mike Golick, God bless football in the draft and Aaron Rodgers. To Gods.
Mikey A
Oh God. You know what, Mike? I am so far removed from school sports that I have no idea what Aaron Rodgers said. I know the draft is coming up next week. I know it's time for Jet fans to hope. It's the only time of the year we have to hope, but I have no idea earthly idea with Aaron Rogers said. I know he said he has not decided on whether or not he's coming back. Did he take some shots at the Jets?
Mike Golick
Yes.
Host
In particular, in particular, Aaron Glenn. He said that what he thought was going to be a lengthy meeting, that he flew cross country, quote on his dime, was a 15 minute meeting and 20 seconds in, Aaron Glenn ran out of the room, got Darren Mugie, came back, interrupted Aaron Rogers mid sentence and said we're going in a different direction of quarterback.
Guest
Wow.
Host
And the part that stood out to me was he said, well why? And he said, because when I'm talking at the front of the room, I don't want to have guys looking at the back of the room to see what you're doing.
Mike Golick
Yeah, he said that. And he said Aaron was like, you don't know me. And Aaron Glenn said, well, you don't know me. And Aaron Rodgers said, well, that's exactly right. That's why I'm here, you know, to try and. To try and get to know you. Yeah. Supposedly Aaron was talking to the GM and then Aaron Glenn interrupted him 20 seconds in and said, do you want to play football? And Aaron Rodgers said, yeah, you know, I'm interested. And then Aaron Glenn said, well, we're going in a different direction. 20 seconds in.
Mikey A
I love Glenn. Yes.
Mike Golick
Yeah. To what Aaron Rodgers thought was going to be a long meeting. It turned out to be 15 minutes, and, yeah, they were going to move on. That's old news. I mean, the new news is what's Aaron Rodgers going to do? Is he waiting to see if Minnesota will want him if. If you know, their quarterback is not back from his knee injury, JJ McCarthy and how he's looking, though. JJ McCarthy hurt his knee in preseason last year, so he's had a long time to recover. He should be fine. And they're going to want to go with him. And it doesn't. It sounds like he just wants to be with a. With a team that's going to compete for the championship. And I don't know if he thinks Pittsburgh is going to be that team, but being in the same division with Baltimore, Cincinnati, to an extent, though, Cincinnati has to really work on their defense. Cleveland is really out of the equation. So, I mean, he probably has, I would imagine, Aaron. Aaron Rodgers until the draft, unless Pittsburgh takes a quarterback in the draft. But they don't want to start him right away. If it's a Jackson dart from Ole Miss, if it's a shooter Sanders, if he drops that far, if they don't want to start him, do they bring, you know, do they still sign Aaron Rodgers if he wants to sign?
Mikey A
Mikey, why'd you shake your head when I said I love Aaron Glenn? You're upset with Aaron Glenn.
Host
I thought it was a really bad look to say you want to get rid of somebody because the. The team might be looking to him for some guidance. I thought that's a really. It sounds like you were scared. You were scared that there was another leader in the locker room who might undermine your. Who and mind, you might undermine your message. Now, think about the message that it would send if all the guys turned to look at Aaron Rodgers and he was intently listening to Aaron Glenn. What message does that send?
Mikey A
That's a good message. But what Aaron Glenn. Mike, correct me if I'm wrong here. Aaron. Aaron Glenn is simply trying to stamp this team. He's the new head coach, and he wants to get rid of as much of what was happening over the last two years as possible. And what was happening over the last two years was Aaron Rodgers, whether he was playing or not. That was the story around the Jets. And Aaron Glenn said, no, you're the story no longer. It's Justin Fields.
Mike Golick
He, he said, he said the, the thing out loud is what Aaron Glenn did correct that worrying about not really on the field with Aaron Rodgers, but off the field with Aaron Rodgers. And Aaron Glenn is a first time head coach. The last thing in the world he wants is the team looking at someone else or a player having, supposedly, even though Aaron Rodgers dismisses it, having as much power or influence as Aaron Rodgers can exert if he wants or can just make a situation bad. So I think this was the right move. Listen, Aaron Rodgers could probably have a good year this year. The jets aren't going to the championship. They're not. So you have a young quarterback in Justin Fields you can bring along and see how he does. If not, you go into the draft next year. But they're not going to win the championship this year. So why, why have the, the, the, the potential of new head coach, 21 year vet, walk in, hall of Famer who, you know, carries some weight on the roster. So this doesn't surprise me at all. We can talk about the process, you know, and say the process wasn't the greatest in the world, but it's not surprising that Aaron Rodgers is not on the Jets.
Host
It's, it's. The reason that you do it is because your other option is a quarterback who has never won a game when his defense gave up 21 points. And I'm talking about Justin Fields. And the, the other part about it that is, is bothersome to me is it sounds like Glenn is trying to be Bill Parcells. And Bill Parcells would come in and Bill Parcells had the cachet and the, and the respect to come in and say I don't need you on my team because it's, it's what I do. We're going to do it my way. Aaron Glenn hasn't earned that. He hasn't, he hasn't developed that. And, and frankly, I think he's probably lost part of the locker room because Rogers was very well respected and very well regarded in that locker room. And to hear that this is how it went down. There's guys that are going to be now looking at Glenn in a different, in a different way.
Mikey A
Yeah, but I understand a new head coach not wanting a quarterback with that kind of stature in his locker room just at the start, at the beginning of his head coaching career. I actually get that you might spot it as a weakness in Aaron Glenn. He should Be strong enough to be able to tell the locker room, hey, I'm the boss. I don't care if Aaron Rodgers is here. But Mike, I actually like it because imagine this. If Aaron Glenn could turn Justin Fields into someone that no one's been able to turn Justin Fields into, then Aaron Glenn comes off looking really, really good. You have Aaron Rodgers, you have expectations. Now you might say, hey, my coach is afraid of expectations. Well, yeah, he's the Jet head coach. I mean, that's what we have.
Host
Yeah.
Mike Golick
And if you miss with Justin Fields, it's not the biggest miss in the world. It doesn't cost you a lot of money.
Mikey A
But if you hit with Justin Fields, forget it, Mike.
Mike Golick
Exactly. Again, maybe it's the process we didn't like. Maybe Aaron Glenn could have called him and said, listen, I'm a new head coach. We're starting fresh here. I'm just going to start over, you know, at the position. But, you know, it happened, so we move on.
Mikey A
I can't believe Mikey wanted another season of Aaron Rodgers. I just, I cannot, I can't fathom that, to be honest.
Host
I didn't want a season of Justin Fields, as I think really what I wanted. I would, I would have been very okay with a season of Tyrod Taylor. I would have been very okay with a season of Tyrod Taylor.
Mike Golick
I'm still, I'm still in a Justin Fields bandwagon. I, I still think he can become a good quarterback. So we'll see, you know, we'll see. He's on. Is that his third team?
Host
Mike, I hope you're right. I hope you're right, Mike. I would love to be wrong about this. It would make me happy to be wrong.
Mike Golick
There's a lot of first round reclamation projects out there that are floating around the league that some are hitting and some are not.
Mikey A
Mike, can I ask you a question? If you're the Vikings, I understand you're committed to J.J. mcCarthy. You drafted him in the first round two years ago. He got hurt. He didn't play last year. But if you're the Vikings and you're in this little super bowl window, because I believe that they are right and you have these great wide receivers, wouldn't you just try Aaron Rodgers out for a year? Like, can't you talk to J.J. mcCarthy and say, we're going for it right now, this year with this team? That's why we're bringing in Aaron?
Mike Golick
Yeah, I mean, I could see the thought process. You know, Detroit lost all the, all the players and coaches that they Lost. Chicago got better, but they're still not going to be a threat to the playoffs. Green Bay quietly could be the best team in that division, quite honestly. Yeah, but, yeah, when you're as close as you are, because the NFC is not as deep as the afc, it's basically Philadelphia, and then where do you go? It used to be San Francisco, but it's really not that anymore. So, yeah, there is part of me, you know, that that says I know, because I do think Aaron could have a pretty good year, especially with the, with the weapons that they have. And they, they really help bolster that offensive line in the off season. And again, may, what Aaron's waiting on, may maybe they're, they're. Again, you're not, you can't see much with J.J. mcCarthy right now. You know, it's the offseason. Nobody's got pads on. Everybody's throwing in T shirts and, and shorts. So, you know, you really haven't even started the OTAs yet. So I, I, I, it's just going to be. If his knee is structurally sound, it seems like they're making him the starter when I could definitely see Aaron waiting because he doesn't have to play. But normally, if you want to play, you want to play, right? It's, it's not like I only want to play for a certain team, and if not I want to retire, then you're just sitting there, you know, still wanting to play, you know, waiting for an injury. You know, maybe that's one of the next things he'll do, is wait for an injury to a contending team and then come in and sign. He may, he may put his eggs in that basket as well.

This episode of God Bless Football is brought to you by. DraftKings. DraftKings. The Crown is yours.
Mikey A
Mikey A. Has a question for Golic here about the draft. I'm just thinking, though, if you're the Vikings, like, you have to, and the fan base, you know, they want Aaron Rodgers. I don't care what anyone tells me. Aaron Rodgers for this season and this season alone might be different two seasons from now, three seasons from now, but right now, the last 10 games I saw Aaron play, he gives the Vikings the best chance of winning a Super bowl this year. Not saying they're gonna win a Super bowl, but he'd give them a better chance than J.J. mcCarthy. The draft is coming up next week. We're gonna be in. Where are we going, Mikey? Nashville.
Host
Nashville. We're going to be there for, for the number one pick, and we have no Idea who it could be at this point.
Mikey A
Right? Okay. We got no idea. Okay. You have draft questions for go?
Host
Well, my first question is how does Mike go expend the draft like, Mike, are you watching all seven rounds? Are you watching all the picks or are you like first ten? I'm out. Well, first round and I'm out. What is it?
Mike Golick
Well, well, this will be the first year in a couple of decades I'm actually not physically working the draft. So I'll, I'll keep an eye on it. Basically, the first round, really, which is Thursday, Friday, you know, the second and third round, and then finishes up Saturday. I'll keep an eye on it because I'll, I'll have to talk about it, you know, within the job after the draft. But, you know, I will, I will basically pay attention to the first round. And those are, those are all the names that just keep getting recycled, right? And those are the ones you need to hit on. But it's really the guys in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh round where you find the gems. You know there's going to be an all pro in that group by some team, and that's just going to be good scouting, you know, predicting what somebody will do from the college level to the next level. That's where you hit the draft. Your number one, your first round pick supposed to hit. We know they don't always hit, but it's the later part of the draft. It's amazing you get the first rounder when you can get them. But second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, if a guy is a second round talent, you try and get him as late as you can, maybe in the third round. If a guy's a third round talent, you try and get him in the fourth round. That's when the games kind of start to happen with the teams.
Guest
Right.
Mikey A
So will you be gorging yourself? Because this is the first draft, you know, just for the first round. I understand what you're saying and I'm the same way, by the way. Like the middle rounds, it's just on the scroll underneath my television. If I see a name, perhaps I'll get excited about it. Right, but what are you going to do at home? Like, how is this going to work for Michael? If Michael is watching, I want to go to go to watch the first round of the draft. Mike. This would be fun.
Mike Golick
Well, I mean, the first thing is I'll be in Arizona, so it'll be earlier.
Mikey A
Oh, you're so lucky. Yeah, that's so I'll be.
Mike Golick
It'll be around dinner time, snacks on the, snacks on the couch, you know, hanging out. Maybe my all the grandkids are here right now but by then just the one granddaughter will be here. Alex. Maybe I'll have her by. Maybe I'll be playing reading her books while I'm watching the draft. That's probably what will happen.
Guest
So nice.
Mikey A
So nice. I am telling you, there's a producer who is on this zoom call right now who's going to be peppering you after every pick to get some analysis because he's going to be in Nashville, Tennessee. See what the Titans are going to do and that person is Mikey A.
Mike Golick
Well, I mean listen, they're going Cam Ward obviously, I think, you know, as far as the first round and the first couple of picks, the interesting part is going to be Cleveland and New York because that's where the expectation of Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter are going to be. You know, you look at Cleveland, you look at new so Cleveland as a second pick, they have their choice of Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter. And would you want Abdul Carter to put on the other side of Miles Garrett or do you want the two way player and Travis Hunter? If, if they take Travis Hunter, do the Giants take Abdul Card? Remember they have Thibodeau and they have Brian Burns as edge rushers. Yeah, but he may just be someone you can't pass up. Just too, too much of a talent to pass up, you know, and then you go the Patriots, you know, they're going to probably go O line. Jacksonville is probably going to go D line. Vegas. I everybody says Ashton Genty for Vegas, but what's the sense in having Ashton Genti if you don't have an O line, you know, and this is a pretty quarter a running back deep draft. I think they go, they should go O line and solidify that O line. Obviously the name in the first round is going to be Shador Sanders. Does he drop and if he drops, how far does he drop? Does he go in the top three? If not, does he go to the Raiders at six they just signed Geno Smith to an extension. Does he go to the Saints at nine where Derek Carr has a shoulder issue and may be out for the year if he doesn't from nine on. None of those teams need a quarterback until 21 in Pittsburgh and then does Pittsburgh, you know, take Shador Sanders? Shador Sanders, there's always one in every draft that fall that that is kind of the wild card and this year Shador Sanders is that wild card.
Mikey A
Where do you think he's going to go, Mike, I think the Giants are probably going to take Shador Sanders. That would be my guess.
Mike Golick
I, I at three, man, I don't know. I don't know. I mean, they, they brought in what, Russell Wilson. I know Russell Wilson is not going to be there, obviously, forever. It all. I keep saying this when I do the show with Mike. I say this all the way back because I'll never forget Ron Jaworski. When Ryan Tannehill got drafted, I think six or seven by Miami.
Guest
Yeah, right.
Mike Golick
And everybody was like. And when Daniel Jones got picked, I think, what, six by the Giants?
Guest
Yes.
Mike Golick
We were all like, what the hell? And I remember Ron Jaworski saying, doesn't matter what we think, doesn't matter what the world thinks. It only matters what the grade of the team that's picking has on that quarterback. If they have a franchise grade, then you take them. You do whatever you have to do to get that quarterback. Now, they were wrong on Ryan Tannehill and they were wrong on Daniel Jones. But I get the thought process. Then it comes down to your scouts, your, you know, whoever is making the selection are making the mistakes. But if you have a franchise grade on Shador Sanders, then, yeah, you take him third with the Giants, you know, because they'll, they'll need it. They'll need a franchise quarterback at some point. So all this talk about where he's going to go, I don't know what grade the Giants have on him. I don't know what grade. Again, I don't think the Raiders and signing Geno to the extension are going to do it. It's, it seems like if it's not the Giants, it's going to be New Orleans or Pittsburgh.
Mikey A
I will say that Joe Shane, the general manager, who's a friend of the show, who has been on this show several times, the GM of the New York Giants, he is the guy who moved up to get Josh Allen. Like he had a franchise grade. Josh Allen. And he went and got that guy. And it's why in large part, he got the job with the New York Giants. And I'm only saying that to say, Mike, if they take your dur. Sanders, Joe Shane thinks he's a franchise quarterback.
Mike Golick
Well, without question.
Guest
Yes.
Mike Golick
You, you don't take. I mean, look, look at the. We talk about the mistakes made or Daniel Jones go back to Trey lance when the 49ers traded up for it. And the only reason they just didn't get. Get stoned to death is because Brock Purdy worked out for him in the seventh round.
Mikey A
Right.
Mike Golick
But that was a horrible trade to go up and get Trey Lance, so. But again, that was their grade on him. And if you're right, if Shane and the Giants staff, whoever puts the grades together, have a franchise grade for Shador Sanders, you take them. If you don't, then you don't take them. You don't take, you know, now the quarterback position is the most overreached position. But what you don't want to get into a position of taking someone and hoping they, they become a franchise quarterback. Not that we have a franchise quarterback. Great, great on this guy. We're taking him.
Mikey A
Right.
Host
Mike, you mentioned the quarterbacks. And this draft is so much different than I think we've seen in the past few years, where after Cam Ward at one, it seems like there's any number of guys that can go anywhere from middle of the first round to the fourth and fifth round. You know, guys like Jackson Dart, Jalen. I mean, there's people arguing Jalen Milroe is a fourth rounder and people arguing he's a first rounder.
Mike Golick
Yeah.
Host
And I don't think we've seen such a dichotomy of quarterbacks. How many do you think are going to go early?
Mike Golick
Well, I think, I think the top five quarterbacks, in whatever order you want are Cam Ward, Shador Sanders, Jackson Dart, Tyler Schuck, who has transferred everywhere and ended up at Louisville, and Jalen Milro. So it's. Now there are some teams that like to trade into the back half of the first round and grab a quarterback. Why? Because they get a fifth year option. Right. You score into the second round, it's four years. No, no club option. That fifth year is a club option. So you have a guy for an extra year, especially if he pans out for you. So I, I think that at least three quarterbacks will go in the first round. And it all depends on, on where Shadour goes. If Shador goes to the Giants, I think Jackson Dart has a good chance of going. Or if Shedeur goes to New Orleans, I don't think the Giants are going to take them. If Shedeur goes to New Orleans, then I think Jackson Dart has a good chance to go into Pittsburgh. After that, teams don't really need a quarterback unless they jump into the back half, the back part of that round. Even though Pittsburgh's 21, that's in the 20s. But I think it's then a choice of Tyler Schuck and Jalen Milroe, then it goes to what Offense you run. Do you. Do you install or that you have that. That has a quarterback running. Involved in running plays, which Jalen Milro can do. Guys, an unbelievable athlete, but he has throwing issues. He has all the confidence that we had him on the show, Mike and I, down at the Super Bowl. Has all the confidence the world. I loved his answer about, you know, about this and hand size, this and that. He's like, I can throw the football. I mean, he's got, he's got confidence in himself, which, which all these guys should have confidence in himself in themselves. But those are the five. I think three at the most. Three at the most would go in the first round if, if at all. If three go.
Mikey A
Mike, I want to ask you about Travis Hunter. We'll get you out of here in just a second. But I think this giant decision is so fascinating because you have a coach at a GM whose jobs are on the line, right? And you ask yourself, are they going to reach and take Shador Sanders? Because they want to show the fan base and they want to show management if he works out, hey, look, we have our quarterback. He's here. He's here for the future and we took them. Or do you go ahead, move forward without him with Russell Wilson and put all your eggs in a Russell Wilson basket?
Mike Golick
The problem with drafting Shador is you're going to start Russell Wilson.
Mikey A
I know, right?
Mike Golick
You're going to start Russell Wilson. So why would you draft Shador if you're Shane or day ball? I mean, if you lose with, with, with, you know, Russell Wilson, you're going to be gone. Somebody else is going to be coaching Shador. How many times have we seen a team take a quarterback and then staff is gone the next year and someone else is coaching the quarterback, right? So I think they're going to. Unless. Unless they draft Shador and say, we're playing him, we're playing him, we're getting through his growing pains. Then if he starts to look good, then Day ball and Shane can say, look, we're building something here. But if he doesn't and Russell Wilson doesn't and they're not winning, which the expectation is they're not going to, and not just because of the quarterback, but the surrounding pieces as well, then that staff, unfortunately, is going to have a tough time hanging around. I definitely think Cleveland and the Giants go Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter depending on. On the order again, because Travis Hunter, I mean, is just, Just an incredible. Both are just incredible athletes.
Mikey A
No one would ever accuse you of nepotism. But what is Deion Sanders doing with Shador Sanders in his jersey? Like, what is he doing? I mean, I understand trying to do good by your son, but are you kidding me? He was 13 and 11 as the Colorado quarterback. Get out of here.
Mike Golick
Yeah, yeah. I think it's based more off that he's going to be a first round pick. Travis Hunter was the Heisman Trophy winner.
Guest
Right.
Mike Golick
Does seem a little odd. But you know what? The end of the day, I don't care. It doesn't affect me. You know what? It's not like I'll ever walk through the Colorado hall of Fame to look at their jersey.
Mikey A
So upset about it.
Guest
Right?
Mike Golick
Yeah. I mean, listen, they were an incredible spark. They were in position this year to be in position to win the Big 12. It obviously didn't happen. It does seem odd, but what do I care? Enjoy, Joel.
Mikey A
Clyde had a better record. Joel Clatt. I mean, come on.
Mike Golick
And his jersey's not in the rafters.
Mikey A
No, you're right. That's my point. Mikey, A. Hold on. If Golick was the head coach, in some weird, strange world, if Golic was the head coach of Notre Dame when Junior was playing, do you think Junior's number would be in the rafters right now?
Host
Not a chance.
Mikey A
Go. Would make him earn it right now.
Host
Don't get me wrong, he's probably the offensive coordinator his first year out because that's, you know. Right, right. You know, Right, right.
Mikey A
But he's not.
Host
He's not retiring the jersey.
Mike Golick
Yeah.
Host
Not.
Mike Golick
Not hanging the jersey from the rafter. Probably not. And. And I think the person that would understand that the most would be Mike.
Mikey A
Right, right. He wouldn't want it. Right, Exactly.
Mike Golick
Exactly.
Mikey A
Would he be the O.C. though? Is Mikey right? Would he be your O.C.
Mike Golick
Well, I don't think he'd start right out as the OC But I definitely put him on the staff. If you wanted to go into coaching, you on the staff for someone starting out and then build up. Absolutely.
Mikey A
Oh, that's so good. Are you going to make him work his way up the ladder?
Guest
Huh?
Mikey A
Teach us some lessons?
Mike Golick
Oh, hell yeah. I gotta. I gotta. I gotta continue to try and have power over him while I can. Because now that we're working together in the media, I don't have power over him anymore.
Mikey A
He's got the power over you.
Mike Golick
Yeah, exactly.
Mikey A
Quickly, Travis Hunter, what do you do with the fact that he wants to play both ways? He's threatening not to play football if he doesn't.
Mike Golick
Well, that's ridiculous. He's not going to not play football. I mean, some of the comments by, by some of the draftees, potential draftees, just, just blow my mind. I don't understand why you have to talk such a tough game. You're going to be a high pick. You're going to let your play do the talking. Everybody knows he's going to play both ways. But playing both ways is. Means the playing both ways in the NFL means the majority of the time is on defense. You know, they're not going to make them a one way player, but you're going to play, you're going to play the majority of time a corner at slot, corner, probably a corner. And then you're going to supplement on the offensive side of the ball where you can fit in and out. But I have no doubt, listen, the guy played 100, 120, 130 plays in college. It seems incomprehensible that he can do that in the NFL with the step up in talent and pressure and everything. But he's proven he could go a long way. So obviously you have the risk of injury as well when you have him on the field that long. But man, I mean, I play him on defense and supplement him on offense and let him use his talent.
Mikey A
Mike, if you were drafting and you had the number one pick, you didn't need a position, you didn't need a quarterback. Who's the best player in this draft?
Mike Golick
The best player is either Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter. Now, Travis Hunter can offer you more by playing both ways. Abdul Carter, obviously, you know, was his first year down as an edge guy. He's just an unbelievable athlete. Unbelievable. Chasing from the backside. His moves, his quickness off the ball, his drop, his shoulder and his dip move is incredible. They're the two best players in this draft. Without question. A guy that kind of jumped up a little bit on the O line is Armand Member out of Missouri. And I don't mean that just because of the combine, because you know how I feel about the combine, but what it did is it made play. Teams go back and watch him on tape and just what an incredibly fluid athlete that he is. So I think he's going to be the first old lineman taken. But as far as best player in the draft, it's Travis Hunter. Hunter, Abdul Carter, pick the order and then everybody else.
Mikey A
All right, Mike, we appreciate it. Mike's going to run to the dentist here. I hate going to the dentist. I can't. You have to drag me to the dentist.
Mike Golick
Who, who, you know, the dentist I had in Connecticut, when I was at espn, the nicest guy in the world. He had soft hands. It never. Nothing really ever hurt. But I hated him.
Mikey A
I. I hate.
Mike Golick
I hate the thought of going to the dentist.
Mikey A
I hate it.
Mike Golick
Never. I'll never enjoy it.
Mikey A
But he had soft hands. Really?
Mike Golick
Oh, yeah. He had very, very soft hands.
Mikey A
Very soft. Yeah. I prefer soft hands with my dentist as well.
Mike Golick
Oh, yeah. You don't want them in there rough, you know?
Mikey A
So does your wife have to throw you in the car right now and force you to the dentist like you're a kid? Like, what is happening here?
Host
Trick you. Like you're a dog. We're going to the dog park and.
Mikey A
You go to the vet.
Mike Golick
Are you now? Are you someone. Are you someone who, in the last week, knowing you had this appointment, started to floss? You know, to try to make yourself look better?
Mikey A
And here's the other thing. There's always the big brush right before you go to the dentist. Yes, the big brush. You brush your teeth in a way you've never brushed your teeth before, and it does nothing for you.
Mike Golick
And you go into the cleaning, and the. And the person cleaning your teeth sees you bleeding at the gums already knowing you just scraped them.
Host
You know what? Nothing's ever good enough for that person that cleans your teeth before. Now you can floss every day, brush three times.
Mikey A
Oh, yeah.
Host
Nothing is ever good enough for.
Mike Golick
That's right.
Host
They're like, your teeth are filthy.
Mikey A
Right, Sorry.
Mike Golick
Or they'll give you a comment with a but. Yeah. And how you can improve. Right.
Mikey A
And I'll see you in two weeks. And they're trying to hurt you, Those oral hygienists are trying to hurt you. Yes.
Mike Golick
My wife actually loves getting her teeth clean. She loves getting them scraped in the feeling of that.
Mikey A
But she.
Mike Golick
She's an alien. I don't know how she enjoys it. Unbelievable.
Mikey A
No one enjoys that.
Mike Golick
No, she does for some reason.
Mikey A
I don't know why I don't enjoy the sound of that.
Mike Golick
No.
Mikey A
No. Oh, good. No. All right, well, have fun at the dentist, Mike.
Mike Golick
Yeah.
Mikey A
You have a ball for Chris. It's like anything to get away from going.
Host
Yeah.
Mike Golick
Yeah. How about it?
Mikey A
All right, we'll talk to you soon, Mike. Thank you. We'll talk after every pick.
Guest
And.
Mike Golick
Yeah, there you go.

Mikey A
All right, thanks to Mike Golic for joining us in the first couple of segments there. We appreciate his time. He is kicking and screaming on his way to the dentist right now. I can't believe Mike Yay wanted Aaron Rodgers to come back as the jets quarterback. I am still reeling from that. This is crazy. We'll be in Nashville next week. God bless football. The Titans have the first pick. They'll take Cam Ward, and we'll be there to get the live instant reaction from the Nashville fans. Right, Mikey?
Mike Golick
Yep.
Host
We're gonna. We're gonna play a little anonymous sources. We're gonna have a little couple of giveaways. Gonna be a good time in Nashville. Come join us.
Mikey A
All right, we're gonna have M. Kuiper on the show. We're gonna have Todd McShay. We're gonna have Field Yates all these guys gonna be on the. On the show next week. Fuentes has a strange new game. He tried to explain it to me during a commercial break. I still don't understand it. So, Fuentes, take it away here. What the hell are we doing? What have you guys been doing for the five or six weeks I haven't been here?
Fuentes
Jeez, it's been. It's having fun. Yeah, it's been. It's been. It's been an interesting few weeks. I. I gotta say, like a bunch of new games. Mikey had some new games. Billy had some new games. This is my first new game, Stu. Guys, I waited for you to come back for this one specifically because you would appreciate this game has a little bit of a twist because there's one thing I know. Yeah, well, there's one thing I know about Stu is he likes talking quarterbacks and ranking quarterbacks.
Guest
I did.
Fuentes
He loves.
Mikey A
I love it.
Guest
Yeah.
Mikey A
So, I mean, who does it? Let's be honest.
Fuentes
Exactly.
Mikey A
Sure.
Fuentes
We're doing a little bit of a twist on this one. It's going to call blind rankings and we're going to blind rank some quarterbacks coming up. And this game is presented by Smirnoff, the world's number one. Vodka. Please drink responsibly. Now, how it's going to work, Stu, is we're going to do 34 quarterbacks, all the starting quarterbacks in the league, plus Cam Ward, plus Aaron Rodgers. But you're only going to rank 10 of them. And you don't know who's coming back. I mean, who's coming next? And here's the thing. I'm going to cover this real quick so you don't see it. I've already randomized the quarterback, so that way I'm not pulling any tricks on you. I'm not, you know, just saying good guys after you already ranked, trying to catch you in something.
Host
Okay, he's going to try and catch us. No, he's going to try and catch us to make us rank Mahomes 10.
Mikey A
Right. If you don't mind, let us determine after the game is played whether or not you were up to some tr.
Fuentes
Okay, there you go.
Mikey A
I mean, please.
Fuentes
So that's how it starts. So I'm gonna name a quarterback. You rank them 1 through 10 without knowing the next quarterback in the sequence.
Mikey A
So you're naming a quarterback. I have to rank them 1 through 10. I don't know the other quarterbacks that are going to come out of your mouth. I just have to write these quarterbacks exactly And. And I cannot adjust the rankings.
Host
You cannot adjust the rankings.
Mikey A
Okay. And Mike.
Guest
Yeah.
Mikey A
You're playing this game with me, right?
Host
I'm gonna play with you.
Mike Golick
Yes.
Guest
Okay.
Mikey A
All right. This is gonna be bad.
Guest
All right, go ahead.
Fuentes
So remember, It's a starting 32 starting quarterbacks, plus Cam Ward, because obviously after next week, he'll be in the league. And Aaron Rodgers, because we don't know where he is, but he might be in the league.
Guest
Okay.
EBGLIS Representative
Yeah.
Guest
Yeah.
Fuentes
Okay. So we're going to start. Totally.
Mikey A
All these games, by the way, again, are brought to you by Smirnoff, and they're also brought to you by the off season. Yeah, exactly.
Fuentes
Brought to you by. By. By April. Football talk. Okay, ready, quarterback? Number one.
Guest
Okay.
Fuentes
Funny it came up this way. Cam Ward. The Heisman finalists from the University of Miami, Cam Ward, where do you rank them, 1 through 10? Blindly.
Mikey A
Cam Ward, 1 through 10. I'm gonna put him 10th. How about that?
Fuentes
That's fine.
Host
I'm gonna give myself a little bit of wiggle room because there's some bad quarterbacks that we already know are bad. I'm gonna put them ninth.
Guest
Okay. Nice.
Mikey A
All right. I like this game already.
Fuentes
Yeah.
Guest
Good.
Fuentes
Yeah, I do. It's right up. Right up your alley. I knew you'd love it.
Mikey A
Well, right until I start yelling at you because you started playing games. All right.
Fuentes
Okay.
Host
You can drop a Will Levis in.
Fuentes
There at any moment and I have.
Host
That 10 spot just waiting.
Fuentes
Number two.
Mikey A
Yes.
Fuentes
Mikey's favorite quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Guest
Oh.
Fuentes
Where do you rank Aaron Rodgers in the blind ranking top 10?
Mike Golick
8Th.
Fuentes
Mikey's jumping with 8th a little bit above Cam Ward. Interesting.
Mikey A
I am gonna go right. Never played a game before.
Fuentes
The super bowl champion, multiple time MVP that he.
Mikey A
And he's just a slot behind in front of.
Host
No.
Fuentes
Aaron Rodgers in front. You put him. You put him at eight. Right, Mikey? Aaron Rodgers.
Host
I. I also know that there are some names still out there.
Guest
Okay.
Host
I would feel really bad about having Aaron Rodgers ranked above them.
Mikey A
I mean, technically, Aaron Rodgers is not an NFL quarterback right now.
Fuentes
Currently not. He's in the league, does not sign.
Guest
Okay.
Mikey A
Well, he also said retirement stolen.
Fuentes
That's what I'm saying. That's why. Interesting.
Mikey A
I'm Gonna put him eighth as well. So I have Cam Ward at 10. I have Aaron Rodgers at eight. There has to be someone who's worse than Rogers.
Fuentes
I don't know. So this is a godless football favorite. Washington Commanders quarterback, Jaden Daniels.
Guest
Oh, wow.
Fuentes
I'm guessing he's cracking the Top five for both of you.
Guest
I don't know.
Fuentes
I don't know, because I know it's coming.
Mikey A
Sophomore slump, Maybe a little bit. I am going to put Jaden Daniels at.
Guest
I don't know who's coming.
Fuentes
Well, technically, he's. It's going to be a sophomore slump either way, Right? Unless he wins a Super Bowl.
Guest
Yeah, right. You're right.
Mikey A
Yeah. It'd be hard to replicate. Hard to do any better than he did last year. I'm still. I'm gonna put him at number four. Number four, Jada Daniels.
Fuentes
Jaden.
Mike Golick
I'm gonna put him at five.
Guest
Really?
Fuentes
Okay.
Host
Gonna put him at five.
Guest
All right.
Host
There's a couple of names. I. I have mine written down. Yes.
Mikey A
I. I don't have mine right now.
Mike Golick
I got.
Mikey A
I got you.
Fuentes
Don't worry.
Mikey A
Okay. Okay.
Fuentes
Number five.
Guest
Very exciting.
Fuentes
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
Mikey A
Mikey, you made a face there. Did you think it was number four? Number five? What was going on?
Host
It's. It's the fourth name.
Fuentes
Yeah. It's the fifth name off the board. But where do you rank them?
Host
No, it's the fourth name off the board.
Mike Golick
That's.
Guest
Fourth name. Yes.
Mikey A
It's your game.
Guest
Yes. That's why. Yeah, yeah.
Mikey A
You said the fifth. Right. We've only ranked three quarterbacks. Listen, I keep track when I'm ranking quarterbacks. I know how many quarterbacks I've ranked.
Host
Okay, so this is Jared Goff, number six.
Fuentes
Jared Goff, number six for Mikey A.
Mikey A
So I put Jaden Daniels at. What number did I put Daniels?
Fuentes
Four.
Mikey A
I'll put in Gary Goff at number five.
Fuentes
Okay.
Host
We have this. We're very similar.
Mikey A
We're thinking the same way, but this is where he starts tricking us. I know it like it's coming, and then we're gonna punch him. Go ahead.
Fuentes
Okay. The next one up is newly acquired Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold.
Host
I gotta put him at 7 because I can't put him at 10, but I can't put him at 4, so I'm putting Sam Darnold at number 7.
Guest
What'd you make of that, Mikey, by the way? Darnold to the Seahawks.
Host
I. I hated it for Sam Darnold, but I love that he was in demand. And. And. But I. I mean, there's. There's no offensive line there. There's no Kevin O'Connell there. Who's gonna. Who's gonna make him shine? And he's got one wide receiver right now in jsn, so I. I didn't like the move. For him, I think we're gonna go back to dust, and I think it's more because of where he is, not what he is.
Mikey A
All right, Fuentes, give me swag. Cam ward at 10.
Guest
Right.
Mikey A
Where did I put Jaden Daniels?
Fuentes
You have Jaden Daniels at 4, Jared Goff at 5, Aaron Rodgers is 8, Cam Ward at 10. So you have 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9 available.
Guest
1, 2, 3, 6,. 7, and 9.
Mikey A
I'm gonna put Sam Darnold. I don't like this game, man. I'm starting not to like it. I'm gonna put Sam Darnold. That at seven.
Fuentes
Seven for Sam Darnold at seven.
Guest
Yes.
Mikey A
So I've came more to 10. I have Darnold at seven.
Mike Golick
Yes.
Fuentes
Aaron Rodgers.
Guest
If he hit.
Host
If he hit me with a bunch of MVPs, right now, I'm gonna have to put one of them at 10.
Fuentes
Well, here you go. Next one on the list, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Where do you rank Josh Allen?
Guest
Wow.
Fuentes
On our blind quarterbacks ranking list?
Host
Number two.
Fuentes
Number two for Mikey. A. Josh Allen.
Mikey A
Allen. I mean, who else does he have that's better than Josh Allen?
Host
Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar. Those are the names that you could put above him.
Mikey A
I think Josh Allen's the best quarterback in football. I'm gonna put Josh Allen number one.
Fuentes
Number one, Josh.
Mike Golick
Yes.
Mikey A
There is no name that you could give me that's gonna outrage me because I have to put them.
Host
Say it, Fuentes.
Fuentes
No, I.
Host
Say it, Fuentes.
Mikey A
They'll be randomized in.
Fuentes
Yeah, I'm being true to the game. Like I, I, I like Mr. Steinfeld at number one. I do like him. Because you can make an argument, Stu can that. That's the right pick, no matter who comes after.
Mikey A
But Mikey is saying, stay true to the audience of the content. That's what he's trying to tell you to do.
Fuentes
No, no, I'm staying true to the list, but I like Josh Allen.
Host
I see Stu's point that Josh Allen could be argued number one easily. And I gave you a couple of names that I could easily argue is above Josh Allen. And that's, that's just different. Different ways of playing the game.
Fuentes
Correct.
Mikey A
Okay, okay, I got it.
Fuentes
The next name on our list, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. Do you believe 10, 10.
Mikey A
10.
Guest
Wow.
Fuentes
Without hesitation.
Mikey A
Down on Caleb, huh?
Host
Yes. But not only that, he can't go four.
Mikey A
That's a good point. You only have a certain amount of slots left. Exactly what slots do I have left?
Fuentes
You have two, three, six, and nine.
Mikey A
Nine For Caleb.
Fuentes
Caleb Williams.
Mikey A
Yes. I have two, three and six left. Okay.
Guest
Okay, so nine for Caleb Williams.
Fuentes
Next on the list, another young, struggling quarterback, small in stature, but showed some signs last year.
Mike Golick
No.
Fuentes
Bryce Young. Bryce Young.
Guest
Wow.
Mikey A
4. I mean, you have no choice.
Host
I have no choice.
Mikey A
I still have the 6 slot left, so I'm. Okay.
Host
Yep.
Mikey A
I'll put him at 6.
Fuentes
6 rough. Bryce Young, currently better than Jaden Daniels. And Jared Goff.
Host
And Jared Goff. Yeah.
Mikey A
And Aaron Rodgers. I'm winning the game. Stu.
Fuentes
Oddly. Stu is oddly. Stuart.
Mikey A
We'll see.
Fuentes
Okay, next up on our list, newly acquired overpaid quarterback Russell Wilson.
Mikey A
Oh, I have to put him second or third. I mean, what are you doing here?
Host
Third.
Mikey A
This is where the game falls apart. This is where I start to get angry.
Mike Golick
Third.
Mikey A
Oh, God.
Host
I only have one left. And you only have two left.
Mikey A
Wait, who's number four on my list?
Fuentes
Jaden Daniels.
Mikey A
Who's number five on my list?
Fuentes
Jared Goff.
Mikey A
Who's number six?
Fuentes
Bryce Young.
Mikey A
Who's number seven on my list?
Fuentes
Sam Darnold.
Mikey A
I have to put.
Fuentes
Russell Wilson is your number two.
Host
You don't have a choice.
Guest
All right.
Mikey A
Russell Wilson's third on my.
Fuentes
Russell Wilson.
Host
I thought he was gonna hit us with a bunch of good ones. He hit us with a bunch of bad ones. Who's my number one quarterback?
Fuentes
So Mikey's number one quarterback. Stu's number two quarterback in the league. It's really funny this worked out that way. Justin Fields, starting quarterback for your New York Jets. And look, I'm gonna finish writing this in real quick, okay? Just to prove.
Host
Apologize.
Fuentes
Just to prove. I'm gonna put the.
Mikey A
Imagine the guy who's just. Just behind. Josh Allen's been sitting there for the. Any team could add him and Mike. We were lucky enough to get him. I mean.
Fuentes
Yeah, as you can see here, the list was printed out. I made. I did make one mistake. I said. I said Jared Goff before Sam Darnold, so I had to switch those. Either way, irrelevant. Justin Fields, Mikey A's number one quarterback.
Host
Funny how I might have put Jared Goff as my number two quarterback if I knew. If I knew the names coming.
Mikey A
I love that you wanted Rogers. You wanted Rogers back for another season. Yeah. You have Fields, right?
Mike Golick
Number one. Yeah.
Fuentes
That's great.
Mikey A
Ahead of Rogers.
Fuentes
That's great. It's perfect. Exactly what I wanted.
Host
Fuentes was up to some stuff. We said we were gonna find out at the end of the segment. Fuentes was.
Fuentes
Oh, another thing I did that I. I see here that if you could see, Deshaun Watson made it on this list by accident. So I crossed him out because he's not going to be a starting quarterback next season.
Guest
He's not.
Fuentes
Right.
Mikey A
But you should do it with, I mean, so if we put it back up at number two. We put it back up.
Fuentes
If you put him back.
Mike Golick
Yeah.
Fuentes
Well, if he would have been the sixth guy, so who would you. So he would have been right for Josh Allen. He would have been for Josh Allen. So he would have, he would have been Mikey Ace 10 because he would have been before Caleb Williams. So that would have worked out for Mikey and it would have been year nine, so that would have worked out.
Mikey A
I nailed Josh Allen.
Fuentes
I mean, he did, he really did.
Mikey A
In terms of slotting.
Fuentes
Well, you know what it was. Mikey was so scared of Patrick Mahomes coming up that he was like, no.
Host
Honestly, I was, I was hoping for a Joe Burrow. I was hoping for now, but Fuentes.
Mikey A
Is hosting the game. If Billy was hosting the game, then Patrick Mahomes and Burrow would have come up automatically.
Host
Well, Tua would have come up.
Fuentes
Yeah, Tua would have come up or, or, or there. So, so let me give you the next three quarterb would have came if I would have just extended the list three more people number. The next person on my list was Dak Prescott.
Guest
Okay.
Fuentes
Okay. Then you would have had Patrick Mahomes, Matt Stafford and then, and that would have been Drake May and Lamar Jackson after that, Right? Yeah.
Mike Golick
Oh, man.
Mikey A
So you were very quick to.
Guest
I was Caleb there, Mikey.
Host
I was, I was trying to hold on to that 10 spot for Tua just to, just to be that guy.
Fuentes
But do you, do you really have no faith in Caleb Williams though?
Host
I would have put him lower if you gave me more spots.
Mikey A
Really?
Mike Golick
Why?
Mikey A
What's your issue with Caleb?
Host
I, I, I don't think he's. I have a problem with quarterbacks who were told their entire life that they're the best ever because they never get tested. And then when they are tested it, they don't know how to handle it.
Guest
Right.
Host
And Caleb Williams is one of those guys. I think, I think it happens a lot more often.
Mikey A
It's all happened. Right.
Host
The only quarterback I know that ever succeeded coming from that is Peyton Manning.
Mikey A
Sure.
Host
Peyton Manning is the only quarterback I know that was told from day one how great he is and then outworked everybody.
Guest
Right.
Host
That's my problem with Caleb Williams.
Mikey A
They anointed Peyton early and he lived up to all the.
Host
Yes. All the very rarely Happens.
Mikey A
And this has all come very easily to Caleb Williams. And he has not lived up to the hype. And there's Jaden. Daniel Daniels, who's transferring, you know, he's playing different.
Host
Exactly.
Mikey A
Transfers to LSU with burrow leaves. Then he lights up the college football world and he's got a chip on his shoulder and he wants to show everyone I'm better than that guy.
Fuentes
I remember talking about the draft. I remember working up to the draft last year. He was like a projected third rounder. And then all of a sudden he shot up the boards. And luckily for the commanders, they believe the hype took him. And then NFC Championship.
Guest
Right.
Mikey A
I'm trying to think of other athletes, though, who were anointed so early, who actually not. Not specifically a quarterback. But you're right about Peyton. Like, LeBron James was anointed early, lived up.
Fuentes
That was the only guy I was going to say that. That was the only guy I was going to say that. You're, you know, LeBron James. 100%.
Host
Yeah.
Fuentes
Maybe Kevin Durant.
Host
I was staying in football. Yeah.
Mikey A
I'm trying to think of quarterbacks, though, who were like, and I think you're right, it might just be Peyton Manning.
Host
Unless maybe John Elway did Andrew Luck. I mean, those are the guys where.
Mikey A
You go, elway was not anointed. I don't recall being like, you know, the guy. The way. The way they were making Peyton Manning to be the guy number one pick. No doubt he's the guy going to be a Hall of Famer. They were saying some of those things about la, but Elboy also had a baseball career to consider. Like, he was sure thinking about a lot of different stuff there. That's interesting, Peyton. I think you're right. I think it's only Peyton Manning.
Host
Yeah. Usually the quarterbacks that really explode in the NFL are guys that have a chip on their shoulder, whether it's, you know, manufactured in their mind or actually there.
Mikey A
Right.
Guest
Yeah.
Mikey A
All right, so we'll wrap up the show coming up after this. I love that game. Keep that game. Let's keep it going. Let's play it when Billy comes back. Has Billy played that game yet? No.
Fuentes
No. Today was the debut.
Guest
Okay.
Mikey A
Let Billy host it next time so he can mess with us.
Fuentes
Okay.
Mikey A
You stay too true to the game. We're back after this.

This episode of God Bless Football is presented by Smirnoff. We do game days. Please drink responsibly. The Smirnoff Company New York, New York.
Guest
All right, Mike.
Mikey A
Ye still reeling because he has Justin Fields as his number one quarterback in the NFL in the group of 10 that we just presented his last segment.
Host
I'm actually, I'm actually mad at Fuentes for making me have Justin Fields as the number one ranked quarterback.
Mikey A
Be mad at yourself, man. He gave you Josh Allen.
Fuentes
You knew the rules. Number one, you knew the rules. Like, you know, if you want to protect against Justin Fields. Coming up, you got to know, you.
Host
Know what you did.
Mikey A
Listen, when he gives you a Josh Allen of a homes, a burrow or Lamar Jackson, just put them at one. Because it doesn't matter if he gives you another one of that set. You can just put him at 2 or 3. No one's gonna argue with you. You know, I think, I think Stuart.
Fuentes
Justin Fields, I think Stu has just figured out the game.
Mikey A
Like, yes, yes. Whenever he gives you a top guy, put him at number one. So you don't have Justin Fields ahead of Josh Allen. Okay, I don't have Justin Fields ahead of Josh Allen. I haven't been here in six weeks. I got the game. Anyway, sorry, I hate you guys. More likely. Are we gonna do that?
Host
Sure, let's do it more. You want to do more? Mike Lee, I gotta tell you, when.
Mikey A
I was on my travels to Australia and I was going to California and I was going to the sphere and I was going to see Denning Co. In Vegas. And the thing I was thinking to myself, what do I miss the most about God Bless football besides Billy? And it was more likely.
Host
Well, you missed some. You missed some new games.
Guest
Really?
Host
Oh, yeah, yeah, you missed, you missed, you missed a couple of doozies, really. Like, will it pass?
Mikey A
Oh, wow.
Host
Will it pass? That was a big one.
Guest
Wow.
Host
Will it pass? Anonymous sources.
Mikey A
Can you explain that one to me?
Host
Yeah. Where it was the proposed rule changes and the question was, will it pass?
Fuentes
Very, very short lived game.
Host
It was a one game, but we'll play it again next year, same week.
Fuentes
Short lived, but, you know, impactful.
Mikey A
Oh, my God. All right, let's get to Some more. Mike Lee's left here, by the way. Again, we will be in Nashville next week for the NFL draft, courtesy of our friends over at Smirnoff. Smirnoff. Excuse me.
Guest
Go ahead, Mikey.
Host
More likely to have a better season this year, Justin Fields or Aaron Rodgers?
Mikey A
My point. That says something very funny during the break. Is it possible if Rogers doesn't play, he still has a better season than Justin Fields?
Fuentes
Can't throw an interception when you're retired, you know.
Mikey A
Yeah, right. He will finish the year with no interceptions. Good breakdown, Puertas. What was the question again? More, Mike.
Host
More likely to have a better season. Rogers or Fields?
Mikey A
I'm gonna say Justin Fields.
Mike Golick
All right.
Fuentes
Yeah. Just a reminder. Just a reminder, Mikey. A ranked Justin Fields number one on his quarterbacks. That's why I'm saying Aaron Rodgers number eight. Yeah, just. Just remind you.
Guest
Sorry.
Host
More likely to live up to his contract. Jamar Chase or Juan Soto?
Guest
Wow.
Host
And saving that one for you, Stu.
Mikey A
I don't think it's. What was the Chase deal, by the way?
Host
A lot of money for a lot of. A lot of money.
Mikey A
Okay, so whatever Soto signed for. Thank you for that explanation. Whatever.
Host
I don't have the numbers in front of me.
Mikey A
It's okay. Whatever Soto signed for. It's impossible to live up to whatever Soto signed for unless you went like. I. I think. Yeah, I think Met fans would say one World Series, but it's still.
Guest
It's.
Mikey A
It's so much money that it's. He. He set the bar at such a ridiculous level. I don't think you can live up to that contract unless you win the World Series every single year you're playing for the New York Met. So I'll say. I'll say Jamar Chase.
Host
Fuentes.
Fuentes
I'm gonna say Jamar Chase because he has a guy named Joe Burrow helping him do stuff.
Mike Golick
So.
Guest
Juan.
Fuentes
So let's do it on his own, so.
Mikey A
Right. That's a good point. He has Joe Burrow to help him get to those. Get to those levels. Juan Soto.
Mike Golick
It's.
Mikey A
Listen, baseball is an individual sport wrapped up in a team sport, so there you go.
Host
Been saving this one for you too, Stu. More likely to be at the super bowl next year. The Chiefs, the Eagles, or me?
Mikey A
Do I have to write those?
Host
No, just who's more likely.
Mikey A
Who is the most. Who is the most likely to be at the super bowl next year? The Chiefs. The Chiefs are not making it to the Super Bowl. Your. Your bags.
Guest
Oh, spags, I forgot about.
Fuentes
Wait, did you Say, did you say the Chiefs aren't making it to the Super Bowl?
Mikey A
I say that every year.
Guest
Yeah.
Fuentes
Oh, that's.
Mike Golick
Okay.
Fuentes
Never mind. Yeah, that's fine. You're right.
Host
Jets, Bears, last year. Remember that?
Mikey A
Listen, I got caught up. I was in the moment. All right, I'm gonna say, who is more likely, the Eagles or you? I'm gonna say you. I'm gonna say you. I'm telling you right now, you're going to the Super Bowl.
Mike Golick
Next.
Fuentes
Yeah, I'm gonna say Mike. I'm gonna say Mike. Yay, too.
Mikey A
I think, Mike, I tell you, you are more Mikely to be at the super bowl than the Eagles or the Chiefs.
Guest
Okay.
Host
All right, last one. More likely to have more players drafted this year in the first round from the SEC or the rest of college football.
Guest
Wow.
Mikey A
More mly first round picks. SEC or everyone else? Like Tiger versus the field back in the day.
Host
Yep.
Mikey A
I'm gonna say the sec. I'm gonna say they're gonna have more first round picks than all the other conferences combined.
Host
I think it's close. I think it's gonna be close.
Fuentes
That's a big ask, right? Because you're asking 17 guys from the SEC to be picked.
Guest
Yep.
Host
Yeah.
Fuentes
Yeah, that's.
Host
Well, when we're picking offensive linemen from Missouri in the first, you know, seven, eight picks. Yeah, that's what happens.
Guest
Yeah.
Fuentes
SEC very.
Mikey A
He. Very tort on this one.
Fuentes
Sec. I'm gonna say I feel like it's a safer bet.
Guest
Okay. Sec.
Mikey A
All right. The highlight of this show was Mike Yang ranking Dustin Fields in the best quarter that could have approved. He's never been ranked number one in anything.
Host
God bless.

Dan Le Batard (48:09): Voiced frustration with Fuentes's ranking choices, leading to humorous exchanges and playful banter among the hosts.
