Mikey A
God bless football. Stugots.
Stugots
Thank you. It's just the two of us. How about that?
Mikey A
Yeah, how about that?
Stugots
Where's Billy?
Host
Billy's.
Mikey A
Billy's got to go drop kids off at school.
Stugots
Really?
Mikey A
I guess.
Stugots
All right. James Franklin is 1 in 18 in his career versus AP top five teams. You're not even gonna.
Mikey A
You're not even gonna build up to it. You're just gonna come dunk on James Franklin bright and early in the morning.
Stugots
And you know What?
Mikey A
He deserves it.
Stugots
1 18. Yes 1 in 18. Let me say that again, okay? Because suddenly, after two playoff wins, he became the greatest postseason coach in the history of college football because he was undefeated in the postseason against teams that had no business being in the postseason. How about that? Okay? And then all of a sudden, he became Big game James. And they get out to a lead last night. The rare game, by the way, that starts as a complete clunker and turns into a classic by the end. I mean, unbelievable. But James Franklin jumps out to the lead. And then he does. James Franklin types things and Drew Hour throws a terrible pass middle of the field late in the game. And Notre Dame wins and Penn State loses. And again, 1 and 18 versus the AP top five ranked teams throughout his career.
Mikey A
As someone who sprinkled some shekels in his draftking account on Notre Dame, I never doubted you for a second. James Franklin. I never doubted you for a second that you were going to make sure that you went back to your. Your standard of losing big games.
Stugots
Speaking of dumping some shekels into draft gigs, you can join us for our listener league presented by Smirnoff, the world's number one vodka. Please drink responsibly. How'd you do last week, Mikey?
Mikey A
Not. Not. Not great. Not. Not great. Nope. I had. I had big plans for certain guys, and they just did not know. Wasn't a good week for me.
Stugots
Didn't pan out, huh? Didn't. Didn't.
Mikey A
Mike Evans was supposed to dominate that game, and he kind of just inched over his 86 yards or whatever he needed line. So that was bad. None of my running backs. Yeah, it was just a bad week. I. I probably finished in the four hundreds.
Stugots
All right, well, I was going to say do better, but it's impossible to do worse, so.
Mikey A
Yeah. And yet I have.
Host
And yet I have.
Stugots
Yeah, we have a. We have another college football semifinal tonight. Wild card weekend is coming up. We're going to discuss all of it, of course, with the guys who secured josh allen.com. i was going to say Chris Sims, and then at the last second, I realized, oh, we have the guys who secure the domain name, which we discussed on the Levitard show earlier this week. We have the guys who have secured the domain name for Josh Allen. It's Josh Allen.com. we're going to try to pry it away from him, but Chris Sims is going to join us as well. Today's episode of God Bless Football is presented by DraftKings. DraftKings. The Crown is yours. So, Mikey, Notre Dame, do you feel like they have based on what you saw last night, again started off as a lousy game, turned into a classic. Do you think Notre Dame has a realistic chance against the two teams we're going to see play tonight, which is Ohio State and Texas? Ohio State has suddenly become the greatest team in the country.
Mikey A
I think both Ohio State and Texas have a little bit of roller coaster to them. And the problem is if. I will say that if either of those teams, Ohio State or Texas plays one of their good to perfect games, Notre Dame doesn't stand a chance.
Stugots
But if they catch him on one.
Mikey A
Of those off days, Notre Dame is, is physical enough and they're good enough, hopefully they get a little healthier by then to. To. To actually win that game.
Stugots
Yes. So you're saying Ohio State's best is better than Notre Dame's best? If they both came out and played their best games, their A games, their absolute best games, Ohio State is going to beat Notre Dame.
Mikey A
I think if Ohio State plays their A game, nobody's beating them in that slot. Texas isn't beating an Ohio State A game and Notre Dame certainly isn't beating an Ohio State A game.
Stugots
The Golix have to be happy this morning, huh?
Mikey A
Well, I, I imagine that it was a late night for the. Well, for Junior. Mike probably watched that game recorded at 3am this morning when he got.
Stugots
I would say if go like if Senior merely made it up for the game, like he stayed up for the entire game. That's the latest he's been up in a long time, man. Yeah, it was a great game.
Mikey A
He probably. He watches it at 3am when he gets up for his. For his morning coffee.
Stugots
Yeah, well, listen in j. Listen in James Franklin's defense and it's, it's tough to defend a guy who's 1 in 18 versus the AP top five since he started coaching at Penn State. But in his defense, what Penn State at least proved to me is that they belonged in college football's final four. They did. They played very, very well. That's an athletic team. Played very, very well and had every chance to win that game, especially at the end. They had chances, Mike.
Mikey A
Listen, James Franklin didn't fall down and let Notre Dame score a big touchdown at the one point of the game. You can't fall down and let Notre Dame score a touchdown. And James Franklin didn't throw that awful pass in the middle of the field when it was just no reason to do that right then.
Stugots
Right. Did you feel bad for Aller?
Mikey A
No. You make a bad decision, you live with it. It happens.
Stugots
Yeah, but he's going to think about that decision every day for the remainder of his life.
Mikey A
I felt worse for the kid that fell down because your feet got tripped up and you gave up the touchdown. Aller made a football play and he messed up.
Stugots
Yeah, I felt great for the rest of the country because for one more week we get to see Marcus Freeman, Chris Sims are the guys who own the domain for Josh Allen.com next.

We are talking to the owners of JoshAllen.com because we were discussing on the show. Todd better get back here because I have questions. Okay. All right, Todd, good. You could stay, you can stay off to the side. It's fine. As long as you can hear me.
Host
And we could hear you.
Stugots
We were discussing on the show how disappointed we were in ourselves for not securing certain domains that have been sold since for many, many, many millions of dollars, including stuff like birds.com or cars.com. how did I not grab that domain? Why did you guys grab the domain? Josh Allen.com I just, you know, I'm.
Todd
A super fan and obviously I study the market, I watch domains and I own a lot of dot coms and so I just knew I fought for this one for several years and finally got the, the owner to sell to me. And I've just obviously with Josh, I mean in Buffalo, Josh Allen is our messiah, right? And with his lucrative contracts, his endorsements, it's just a great investment for me to have and hold and wait for the right opportunity to present itself.
Stugots
How much did you buy it for, if you don't mind me asking?
Todd
It's five figure range. In the five figures.
Stugots
Okay, and what are you selling it? Because I'm going to try to Buy it from you, just so you know. But what are you. What are you trying to sell it for now?
Todd
Yes. So if you work for Nike at $1 million, if you work for Pepsi, a million dollars. If you're, you know, trying to monetize and doing an endorsement and doing a deal, I'm at 300k.
Stugots
300. That. Wow. Josh Allen, right?
Todd
Yeah. So we're, we're, we do get hits, Right. I do get interest. And so I'm just waiting for the right fit. Josh Allen's camp, maybe his agent, Pepsi or Nike, they're all his major endorsements. So it's.
Stugots
Yeah, go ahead, finish up. I want to hear this.
Host
Yeah.
Todd
So it's plausible that, you know, I'll get the call or do a deal with one of these giants, Right. That are already sponsoring him.
Stugots
Right. Well, since you're good at this and you do this and you study this, I'm assuming you have all kind of the Josh Allen. Josh Allen12.com. Do you have all those? You have everything secured so Josh can't. So Josh is forced to buy it from you if indeed he wants to.
Todd
100%. Yeah. So I also own. So we call him the Alien. Josh Alien.
Stugots
Right.
Todd
So I own Josh Alien dot com.
Stugots
You're smart.
Todd
Yeah, I own Josh Allen. Madden Football. Right. Because he's the face of Madden Football now.
Stugots
Right.
Todd
So I own that as well. Right. So maybe, you know, the Madden people call me. Hey, they. They want to monetize it and promote the Josh domain. So if you go, you segue over to Patrick Mahomes. It's Adidas. It's an Adidas platform. So if we go to patrickmohomes.com, he's selling millions of dollars in Adidas merchandise. Right. Tom Brady. Right. TB12. He's selling all of his merch in his endorsements, his speaking engagements. So these guys monetize these at a very high level. So I knew after I fought for this for several years.
Stugots
Genius.
Todd
I never give up. I never give up. Right. If I want something and I know it's going to have a good payoff, I'll. I'll be white on rice till I get it.
Mikey A
So I have two questions. The first one is for Stu Gotz. Did you think that Josh Allen's number was 12 and that's why you said Josh Allen?
Stugots
It's 17. I made a mistake. For those of you we're being so polite.
Mikey A
I appreciate that. I'm not gonna be as polite.
Stugots
There's a cardboard cutout of Josh Allen right behind Todd's business partner. But Todd was standing in the way of it. I was thinking TB12, to be honest with you. Go ahead.
Mikey A
All right, here's my next question. What would Josh Allen. Suppose.
Host
Josh.
Mikey A
You're welcome. Suppose Josh Allen calls me be like, Listen, I'm not going to give you the 300K, but I got two Super bowl tickets, I got a flight out there, I got a hotel. Are we. Is there any kind of trade we're talking about here? Sign Jersey with it and the whole bit.
Todd
Yeah. We'll give you 10,000 off in a check for 299.
Stugots
I like them.
Host
I like them a lot. It's not worth it.
Stugots
Oh, my. So you listen. You have ensured that if Josh Allen wants a domain that he has to go through you guys to get said domain.
Todd
Yeah.
Stugots
Yeah. Wow.
Todd
100.
Stugots
Yeah.
Todd
So if you go to GoDaddy, you can go to the GoDaddy platform and you punch in joshalan.com, you'll see the evaluation on GoDaddy. It's like a million 90,000.
Stugots
Wow.
Todd
That's the price on go day, right?
Stugots
Ron, how you feeling about all this?
Gordy Gronkowski
Love it.
Stugots
I mean, you know, but what we're.
Host
Looking to sell this for is to kind of use some seed funding for a new company product that we're putting out spent all testing ships.
Producer
We want to make them readily available.
Host
At, you know, your corner stores, bodega. So it's not like, you know, Todd's selling this. He's going to buy a Lamborghini tomorrow with it. You know, we're going to put this to really good work. Save a lot of lives with harm reduction tools.
Stugots
That's a good job by you guys. I am. Well, I'm happy to hear you're doing something productive other than securing domain names. Okay. You guys are helping people objective.
Todd
Yeah.
Stugots
What if I offered you 250k today? What would you say to me with.
Todd
Super bowl tickets in a signed autograph jersey from Josh Allen?
Stugots
Yeah.
Todd
Okay. Then we got a deal.
Stugots
Really? Okay. What if they put you in a.
Mikey A
Room with Josh Allen?
Stugots
That's all I do is I just put you in a room with Josh Allen. What do you think?
Todd
I'm good.
Stugots
What other domains do you own?
Todd
I. I've got some. This is just us talking, right?
Stugots
Yes. Yeah. No one's listening.
Todd
Okay. Yeah. I've got some VIPs, I've got some high level people. I have a list. I have a big list. But at the end of the day, the highest value one that I have is Josh Right there. There's nothing that's going to beat his evaluation then out of my entire portfolio.
Host
I, I think you guys find this funny too. This is, I started working with Todd with this summer and he's made a substantial amount of money selling phone numbers.
Todd
Yeah, they sell phone numbers too.
Stugots
What?
Host
Yeah, dude, I, I got a lesson in this and I'm like, dude, I.
Stugots
Gotta start doing this.
Todd
So I have hundreds of phone numbers, vanity numbers, right. You know, I sell them to attorneys, high level companies. So I've been brokering phone numbers and domains for a long time. And you know, again, you have to buy, right? And you got to find who's the, the best partner and, or good match, right? So all the ubiquitous advertising with lawyers, right? Lawyers are lawyers, right. The really good ones are good marketers. They're not any better lawyer than others, but they know how to catch the fish, right? And that's where a good domain and or a good phone number comes into play. So I can get like 7, 1, 6 or you know, all eight. We call those repeaters. 444-4444. I get 100K for those, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. 100%. 100%. So this is, I've been doing this for, you know, 20 years, right? And I've got a lot of networking partners. So we know how to dig, we know how to break legs, we know how to twist arms and we know how to make deals happen. But my biggest baby is Josh, right? So, and that's where we're just looking for a good partner and, or a good relationship. We want it to go into the right hands.
Producer
It seems like you're looking to extort him if we're going to be honest. It seems like you're looking just to get money from him, not a partnership.
Stugots
And some super bowl tickets. That's all plausible.
Todd
So here on the other end, I can monetize the out of this site just by selling merchandise, right? So that's, that's option B. Wow. And I don't have to. I can either a, pay the NFL their licensing and, and sell millions off of this mark every month. Right. And. Or I can go plan B and sell generic football stuff and still do super well in Buffalo. Anything that has Josh Yellen, it flies off the shelves, right? The, the amount of merchandise that they sell in this market is astronomical. Astronomical. Every store you go to, every car you see something has either Buffalo Bills or Josh Allen on it.
Stugots
Wow. I can't believe like, how's the guy? Do you speak to the guy that you bought it from. Because he. I mean, he. He gave it up for a cheap price.
Todd
Yeah. So the. This was. You know, I've had it for a few years now, but I do get hits, right. I've had lots of different brokers call me. I even had Josh Allen. He's not the Josh Allen, but another Josh Allen that wanted to buy it. And, you know, we were just too far apart.
Stugots
You had to be like, was he pretending to be Josh Allen? What was he doing?
Todd
Just a guy named Josh Allen who's in media marketing. And he goes, yeah, that was my domain. And I'm like, yeah, that's. It's my domain. And, you know, you're a badass. Yeah, it is. It's real estate, man.
Stugots
It's.
Todd
It's. It's real estate. Right. So digital real estate. And. But yeah, the right deal comes along, I'll do business.
Producer
How do you get around cyber squatting laws?
Todd
You'll have to check with your attorney on that. But at the end of the day, it's just. It's real estate I can do. I own it. That's not really. It's just an item that I own. Right. So I'm not infringing on Josh Allen or I don't have his picture. I'm not monetizing it. As I am Josh Allen's representative or agent, I just, at this point, possess it for the deal.
Stugots
Now, if Josh just won a Super bowl, like he won a Super bowl, you guys are big Bills fans. You love Josh Allen. He is God up there. If he won his super bowl and called you the next day and said, hey, listen, I won your Super bowl, it's miserable in Buffalo. I want the domain name josh allen.com. i made you happy, the happiest you've ever been as a sports fan. I want that thing for free. Would you give it to him?
Todd
No. Now the price goes up to 2 million because the valuation is now doubled.
Producer
I don't. I don't know two guys. If you noticed. It went from 200,000 yesterday to. I reached out. I was like, hey, you guys want to talk? And this morning was 300,000. So the price fluctuates depending on activity.
Stugots
I think these guys are businessmen. They don't care. They're assassins, man.
Todd
It's. It's the buzz, right? So the stock rises every single day the more the MVP is knocking on the door, right? So as. As the buzz continues to grow, so does the price. But that's still a fire sale and a discounted price compared to the million dollar listing on GoDaddy.
Mikey A
How much did the evaluation get hurt when Josh Allen of the Jaguars started By going, going by Josh Allen, did you lose like half your market there?
Producer
Yeah.
Todd
No, you mean the other Josh Allen?
Mikey A
The other Josh Allen.
Producer
Well, you lost one of the two big ones. Yeah, yeah.
Todd
He changed his name, right? He added.
Stugots
Yes.
Todd
Yeah.
Mikey A
Could you get Josh Hines Allen? Is it up? Is it available?
Todd
No, I, I, it's, yeah. Nothing.
Mikey A
Maybe Josh Heinz Allen 12st gots.
Stugots
Oh, maybe. Todd, are you looking for a business partner?
Todd
I mean, it's, we're, we're open to discussions.
Producer
Yes.
Stugots
Wow. I mean, I can help you. You help me, I'll help you. You know what I'm saying?
Producer
Can I make a suggestion for you guys? So.
Stugots
Sure.
Producer
Josh, we've seen. Yeah. You choose to. Guys. Because I'm part of their company. Is engaged. Congratulations to Josh And Haley. Now Josh Allen.com is seemingly unavailable. So what if as a result, Josh Allen decides to change his last name to Josh Steinfeld? Have you decided to lock that one up just in case?
Todd
Seconds.
Host
I'll be right back. I mean, I don't know, man.
Stugots
We already have it.
Host
I guess you didn't take through that. Yeah, I don't know.
Mikey A
This is why you need a billion of stots in your business idea, man.
Host
Right?
Stugots
Yes. This is why you need us one too.
Todd
I got that one too.
Stugots
Oh, you did? Like, Ron, are you guys constantly scouting out, like, what's going to be next, what hasn't been taken, what's going to be next, what you think is going to be popular? Just grabbing domain.
Host
When, when Todd told me that this is what he did and he was making awesome. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna start going to like high school football games in like Texas and just start getting like all these domains for these kids.
Stugots
What's the domain that you bought and then eventually sold? Like what, what deal made you the most money in terms of, of a domain?
Todd
Probably the attorneys that I've helped over the years.
Stugots
So explain that. Like, so you go, you see, you see a law firm, you grab their domain name and then they come calling eventually to buy it from you.
Todd
Yeah, typically it'll happen like they'll research or search it out and then they'll come to me and then we'll broker and negotiate a deal, right?
Stugots
Yeah.
Todd
And then also I'll do the cold calling as well. Right. With the inventory. I'll see what's a good deal, acquire it, and then, you know, offer my assistance.
Stugots
Do you Guys have super wildcard weekend dot com. Have you?
Todd
Well, I got to go to the bathroom.
Stugots
I love Todd. I mean, he's my new business partner. What's the most money you've made on a single deal? Is that an insensitive question? Can you share that with us?
Todd
Six figures. They're all six figures.
Stugots
Every deal is you're making six figures.
Todd
I do them for nickels and dimes and twenties and thirties, right. I have several. 75, 100.
Stugots
Are you surprised that Josh, Are you surprised Josh Allen hasn't sold yet?
Todd
I'm not, I could have sold it, just the, the numbers aren't there yet, right. So I have a minimum, right. And, and basically if you look on the site, that's where I want to be. I'm hopeful. Mike or one of the other big guys come in and pay the seven figures. That's the one and the wish. But at the end, at the end of the day, we have a very impactful product and startup that we're, we're doing. And that's where I'm looking to liquidate, to take this funding for the startup and then do something super impactful with the, the epidemic, with the, the harmful opioid crisis, right? So I've been working on that for about 15 months. I developed a product, market it and now we're just doing, we Want to go Q1 was with our first launch and I believe wholeheartedly this is going to be massive, right? It's going to be a massive endeavor. The good news about this product is it's a win win, right? I think all of us have been touched by life of loss or the struggles of opioid addiction. And me, myself, my personal story, I'm a recovered addict. And you know, 20 years ago, right? I also have six kids, right. My friends have lost their sons, right? We've all known or know the epidemic of over a hundred thousand people, Americans dying on an annual basis, right? So back when I was a kid, the AIDS epidemic came in, right? And there were two things you did or didn't do. It was a abstain from sex or use a condom, right? So now today we can't just use drugs recreationally. Our kids can't use drugs. Nobody should use drugs. So either a abstain from drugs or use responsibly, right? And this is what I want to do is bring the testing mainstream into the retail markets. Your convenience stores, your gas stations, right? A cup of coffee is $3. Here's a test strip, it's 3 bucks, right? Test it before you ingest it, fan exit or forget it. Right. This is the product that I believe I've been called to do, and this is why I do all these maniacal things to get to my main objective and. But yeah, Fenex is the product that I've developed, and that's what my biggest energy is, is targeting.
Stugots
I like it, guys. So essentially, the domain money, it's really money to fund something that's way more important.
Todd
Absolutely. 100%. 100%.
Producer
Who do you like, Chargers or Texans?
Stugots
Yeah, good question. Chargers, Texans. Guys, who you like in that game? You like the Chargers, Ronnie?
Host
Texans for sure.
Stugots
Okay. Bill, you're gonna ask them all the games, aren't you?
Producer
Any domains on the Chargers that we should be aware of or the text?
Stugots
I think I have her.
Producer
Justinherbert.com CJ Stroud.com Anything like that?
Todd
Yes. Yes.
Host
Dude, just made new competition here, man.
Producer
Yeah. Did you. Well, hold on. Did you swipe up when he was in town?
Todd
One deal at a time. One deal at a time.
Stugots
Yeah. Listen, there's no competition. You can either bring us in or we're gonna end your company. So it's up to you. Whatever you want to do. Like, you know, what do you think?
Todd
I love it.
Producer
How many transactions. How many transactions do you guys make? Like, on an average? Like, what's a work week like for you guys? You're just like looking up numbers and domains or you. You making sales because, like, you just have to wait around for. For the right sales, more or less, right?
Todd
Yeah, yeah, the. Like I said, I have a wide, wide inventory. Right. It's. It's more than just sports and with, with the phone numbers and. Or the digital assets. So. But, you know, I also do other. I have other investments and other. Other things that I'm involved with.
Stugots
Interesting.
Producer
Ravens. Yeah, yeah.
Stugots
Steelers. Ravens. Who do you like there, guys?
Producer
AFC Football.
Stugots
I want that spirit to win.
Producer
Really?
Stugots
I mean, you want the Steelers to win, right? Because you want.
Producer
Because you don't want to see. Yeah, you don't want to see Lamar Jackson.
Stugots
Right. So if the Steelers won, they would go to Kansas City and then you would get the. You would get the Chargers in that scenario.
Host
Yeah. Well, like I said, man, last people wanted. I don't want to see Baltimore again. I don't want to see Derek Henry again.
Stugots
I mean, listen, you just have to beat Lamar Jackson and then once you've done that, go to Kansas City and be Patrick Mahomes. You guys got this. I mean, yeah, that's.
Todd
We're on the Same page.
Stugots
How much do you guys dislike Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs?
Todd
Not at all. I. I admire him.
Stugots
He's.
Host
He's.
Todd
He's amazing. He's. God dang Patrick Mahomes. But it's. It's Josh's time, right? It's. It's time for Josh to. To wear the crown.
Stugots
Yeah. What happens to the value of the domain if Josh Allen gets bounced out in the second round of the playoffs this year?
Todd
Well, then we give a 5% discount.
Producer
Okay.
Stugots
Really? Is that right? What's the number? If someone called you right now and gave you a number, what's the number?
Todd
As in a cash deal.
Host
Yeah.
Stugots
That you can't say no to. Right.
Producer
Yeah. Non traceable yet.
Stugots
No tickets, no nothing. No meetings with Josh. Nothing. Just straight. Here's the cash. Give me that domain.
Todd
Yeah, it's 250.
Producer
250. What if it was in a briefcase, though?
Stugots
Yeah, but it was just.225 in a briefcase, Coach.
Todd
What type of briefcase would it be?
Mikey A
You get the.
Stugots
You pick. Yeah, it's on us.
Todd
All right.
Stugots
What if we just said, listen, 240.
Todd
In a duffel bag.
Stugots
240 and a duffel. I like your style. A duffel bag is much better. What if we just said, hey, you guys, both of you. Okay. Ronnie, Todd, both of you co hosting the show with us every week. Promote your product, promote your company all you want.
Producer
Wait, hold on. With. With one of the Gronkowski brothers. But not Rob.
Stugots
But not Rob. Yes. Yeah, yeah.
Producer
We're down to Gordy this year.
Stugots
Yeah, but Gordy, just so we're clear, we host a show, it's called God Bless Football. Chris Sims is part of it. Mike Golick is a part of it. We have a lot of big celebrities, big names. We are offering you guys a chance to be a weekly part of our show in exchange for. And we appreciate it, but you get to promote your company. The important stuff. The stuff you're doing with Fentanyl.
Producer
Exactly.
Stugots
And what we get in return for that is the domain. Josh Allen. Joshallen.com. what do you think? Yeah.
Todd
Love the offer, but I still need the seed funding. Right. I still need the money to, to do the purchase orders and, and to fund the project.
Producer
But consider it like advertise, like an advertising expenditure, you know what I mean? Like, we're really just giving you the opportunity to get the message out.
Stugots
You know, this, this podcast has won best football podcast in America three out of the last four years. It's a massive podcast with A massive audience.
Producer
Yeah. And we're primed to do so again next year.
Stugots
Yep.
Todd
Yeah. So that's awesome.
Producer
And think of it. Think of it this way. Think of it this way.
Stugots
Todd doesn't care. It's.
Producer
It's just one measly. You've got a good read on me.
Stugots
It's just one measly.
Producer
It's just one URL where you have told us you have so many different ones. You have so many domain names, so many different phone numbers. You're just giving one away. So. And in exchange, we're giving you this great platform and you get to hang out with Gordy Gronkowski and I don't know. I don't know if you're familiar with Carl Douglas. You ever heard of Carl Douglas?
Stugots
Have you? Dream team attorney for OJ.
Producer
He was on. He was one of OJ's attorney. He makes pics with us every week. Surely. And I'm not going to be. I'm not going to presume anything here, but surely you've got something going on that Carl Douglas can help you out with or will at some point.
Todd
And Gordy Gronkowski is a good friend of mine. I. I can go say.
Producer
Is he within the hour?
Todd
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
Mikey A
Now, is he a friend?
Host
Like.
Mikey A
Like, Josh Allen is a friend.
Host
Where.
Mikey A
You've been to his house?
Stugots
Yeah.
Producer
Gordy know he's your friend.
Todd
We're actually friends.
Stugots
Yeah.
Todd
We've done business together for years.
Stugots
Really?
Producer
Fitness.com. you guys hoop that one up right.
Todd
Down the street from me.
Stugots
Oh, my God, Billy, I'm telling you.
Producer
The Bobby Goons also.
Stugots
You know Bobby Goons? No, he's the guy who travels around with Rob. Okay. Yeah. You know Papa G? Do you know Big G?
Producer
You have to.
Todd
No, it doesn't ring about.
Producer
No.
Stugots
Yeah.
Producer
Chris Krakowski.
Todd
Mr. Brock.
Host
That.
Todd
That's. That's who I. I deal with, Mr. Mr. G. Wow.
Stugots
There you go, Billy. I think we have to have them on for a pick segment, it seems like.
Producer
It seems like that's where this is headed.
Stugots
Would you guys like to join us for a pick segment with. With Gordy Gronkowski and crew and the group?
Host
I love it.
Todd
I love it.
Stugots
You're in.
Todd
We'll. We'll see.
Stugots
I'll.
Todd
I'll have to talk to my advisors.
Stugots
Right? We're not. We're not asking for anything. We're just offering you another opportunity to come on. I don't want the domain. Just. I want you to come on with Gordy, that's all. Tom, come on. Gord.
Host
Yeah.
Todd
Yeah.
Stugots
Okay. All right. Something tells me, like, Ronnie's always wanted to be a sports radio host. I think Ronnie would take the deal. Am I wrong? Ro?
Todd
Yeah.
Stugots
I love what you guys are doing, dude.
Producer
It's.
Stugots
Well, I like what you're doing. Okay. I like what you guys are doing. I mean, you're making money off phone numbers.
Todd
Yeah. Yeah.
Stugots
It's genius. All right, guys, this is. I'll get back to you on the 250. What if I offer 200 right now, cash wired right to your account?
Todd
You serious?
Producer
No, he's not.
Stugots
No, no, we're gonna take it. Ever.
Producer
Well, hold on a second. I don't know if you know this. Dugatz has been hot this year and making picks. What if he gave you $200,000 worth of gambling advice and it's. And it's really could be worth more depending on how much you you gamble. It could be a million dollars worth of gambling advice just for a website.
Stugots
I heard some sarcasm in that. Where do I sign? Todd?
Todd
That's not a great idea.
Host
Generational wealth of some parlay picks.
Stugots
I don't know, man. It sounds enticing. I think if we just had Ron on, this deal would be done already. We would have Josh Allen.com in exchange for Ron.
Todd
Yeah.
Host
I was like, no deals. No deals. Talk to me.
Stugots
I'm like, all right, yeah, well, listen, now I know the guy. If I'm serious about this, I know who I gotta call. And it's Ron. It's not Todd. Okay, you got it over, man. So he's a pushover.
Host
Yes.
Stugots
Yes. Guys, I look forward to getting into business with you and being partners with you. I'm going to make this happen. I'm intrigued by what it is you're doing. We're going to be partners soon. I'm telling you, I'm going to be in touch with you.
Host
Okay, well, send us some parlays for this weekend and we'll see how it goes. Man.
Stugots
It is time for this week's edition of Studio gats, presented by DraftKings Sportsbook. DraftKings. The Crown is yours. NFL Super Wild Card Weekend it is here. One five and one a week ago. I'm limping into the playoffs. What a regular season, though. 79, 48 and 3. I know what you're saying. Do it in the postseason. I'm gonna do my best. Here we go. Chargers -3 at the Texas Chargers. Really good. Texans have no idea if they're any good. Buy it down to two and a half, take the Chargers. They win. They cover the Chargers by 10 points on on the road. Ravens. Lamar Jackson, speaking of doing it in the playoffs, minus nine and a half. Take the Ravens. They win. They cover the Ravens by 14 points at home over the Steelers. Bills at home, minus eight and a half taken on the Broncos. Buy it down to eight. Take Buffalo. They win. They cover Buffalo by 17 points at home. Packers plus four and a half. They're at Philadelphia, taking on the Eagles. The Eagles win. The packers cover. I wanted to say the packers win. Sirianni gets fired, which might very well happen. But the Eagles win. And they win by a point. Last second field goal. How about that? But the pack, they get the COVID I'm thinking the packers plus four and a half. Commanders plus three on the road. They're taking on Tampa. Buy it up to three and a half. Take the Commanders. They win the game outright. They beat Tampa by six points. Sorry, Baker Mayfield. And finally, Rams. Vikings, in a game that will likely be moved to Arizona. I am taking the Rams here to win the game outright. They cover the spread. They win the game. The Rams by seven points. Super wild Card weekend It is here. Good luck, everyone.
Producer

Gordy Gronkowski
I don't know.
Mikey A
I would prefer him to go to the Raiders than to the Patriots.
Producer
Hey, he's Mike Rabel.
Stugots
Like Billy, he's 11 and like seven.
Producer
Acts like Vince Lombardi is out there.
Mikey A
Like Billy, when you see what else is out there. When you see what else is out there, you, you kill for variable.
Stugots
Well, hold on. Let's get, let's get Sims involved here. Sims is saying that we're treating Mike Vrabel like Vince Lombardi. What are your thoughts?
Host
Well, I, I, I'm a big fan of, like, Mike Vrabel. I mean, I'm not ready to compare him to Vince Lombardi quite yet, but I think Mike Vrabel is a phenomenal head coach. I do. I mean, one, I think he's about as close as you're going to get in football to, like, Parcells and Belichick with that type of attitude. And I think he's actually got a little more parcels in him in a lot of ways where he can be, like, snarky and like, charming to the media at the same time. A little bit that way. He's very hands on with his coaching and what he does on the football field during practice. He's a really good motivator. He's cutting edge with things he does like training in the off season. And yeah, I mean, look at what there was there in Tennessee. I mean, he, he went as a number one seed in the AFC playoffs with a team that set the record for the most injuries in a season and, like, had to sign all these people. All they went to the AFC championship game with, like, let's, with the Ryan Tannehill who couldn't play. Right. Remember now everybody told me he couldn't play until they saw him playing and then they went, oh, he can play. And then, but we, we don't want to give Mike Vrabel the, like, credit for bringing him along a little bit. So. Yeah, I'm a big fan of Rabel. I think he is the best candidate. No doubt for me.
Producer
But he's not Vince Lombardi.
Host
No, he's not Vince Lombardi. Not Vince Lombardi. He's not Bill Belichick. Not exactly.
Stugots
Sims, you headed to Texas? What's going on here? I got the whole family.
Host
Yup, whole family. Got a, like a 3:30 flight today. Pumped about it. I mean, I really am. I got the, the kids are excited. My wife was like, kind of poo, pooing it there for a little bit, giving me this whole spiel like, you're the only one that wants to go, why are we going to this? And my kids, like, walked in the room in the middle of that and they were like, no, no, we want to go. My son was like, oh, my pumped. And my daughter was like, yeah, I'm excited, Mom. I don't know what you're talking about. So, you know, she finally came to her senses. Because I. I mean, we. If she said it again last night, I was gonna go stay the hell home. We. We got plenty other people. I want to come.
Stugots
I'm wondering why she isn't staying home.
Host
If she pulls that bull today, she's staying home. We got plenty of other people want to come to the game right here.
Producer
Where are we meeting up? Extra room.
Host
I could deal with you and Mikey.
Producer
Yeah, I won't take up more than half our bed.
Host
You can sleep outside the. On the floor, like, where a dog's on, like the mat outside the door. That sounds good.
Stugots
Why. So why is your wife going? Is she going to. Like, she wants to be with the family. What is the deal?
Host
I. I guess I. I guess she feels guilted into it now, but. Yeah, now I don't even know. I don't know why she's going now, but we got her going, you know, like, she was like giving me this whole spiel, like, when they won, you just said, let's make. Like, I want to go, let's go. Like, and she's a loud mouth North Jersey woman who never, like, doesn't share her opinion. And I was like, why didn't you tell me when I said that that you really don't want to go? Like, just tell me then why are you telling me two nights before we're going that you don't want to do this? So we'll see. Yesterday she said, sorry, my kids, I think in a lot of ways were a little bit like, wow, hey, hey, dad, we're your. This is a quote from my son. Hey, dad, we're your buddies. We'll have fun without her. Don't worry. And I think my daughter wants me to bring her boyfriend and I think my son likes that, too. So they're willing to ditch and leave her ass at home.
Stugots
Ditch, mom for the boyfriend? Of course.
Host
Yeah.
Stugots
Did you.
Producer
Did you throw out the idea of Uncle Billy going?
Host
No, I did not. I did not. Nope. I did not.
Stugots
Do you have Sims's kids calling you Uncle Billy? Is that.
Producer
They're probably close to my age, honestly.
Host
What's this cool hat you got on today?
Producer
This hat? You like this hat? You want me to send you anything?
Stugots
He's talking to Mikey A.
Producer
Well, it depends on Mikey.
Host
I'm talking to. No, I'm talking About yours, Billy. What is it?
Mikey A
Talking about Billy's hat. Billy's hat is cool.
Stugots
It is cool.
Producer
It's a hat that I got. This is a, you know, food influencer. It's an M. Yeah, like this.
Host
Oh, that's an M. Okay.
Producer
Okay.
Stugots
Yeah.
Host
All right, so it's a Marlins. All right, cool.
Producer
No, it's not. It's not more. It's this guy, Mr. Eats. He goes around, he reviews some food, sent me a hat. I said, hey, cool. Nice. Thanks.
Host
Okay, cool. All right. Yeah. You're such a.
Producer
You want one? I'll send you one.
Host
You're easy, you know, you just make it easy.
Producer
You just send me. Send me something, Chris. I'll put it on. Whatever it is.
Host
You're kind of a. It sounds like you just do anything for merchandise or anything that you can get.
Producer
It's not if the price is right. Yeah.
Stugots
Yeah.
Mikey A
He did call it our bed.
Producer
Exactly right.
Host
Sleep with me just to go to the game. I mean, geez. It just tells you how easy he is.
Producer
What I'm saying. I think send me whatever you want me to wear. We'll wear it.
Stugots
Yes. I think if you decided to do this for a living, you decided on being a Chris. We are.
Host
Yeah. Yeah, you're right.
Stugots
How do you feel about your chances against Ohio State? Because it's funny. Ohio State, everyone. The fire, riot day, and now they're the most talented team in the country. The favorite to win the national championship.
Host
Right. Is it not kind of funny how quickly it, like, turned in? Three weeks, like, literally, like, oh, they're the most overrated, over hyped team ever to literally, like. I want to be like Spongebob 14, 14 days later. They're the best team we've ever seen. I don't know if anybody can beat them. I mean, they're dangerous. They're talented as hell. I know that they're the most talented team in college football, but not by so much that they can just, like, waltz through this game against Texas RD is real. I think our D will pose problems for them. And their defense is very good, but they play a style, and then I think that it'll fit us. Being able to throw the football down the field. They're pretty aggressive. They'll play man to man on the outside. They'll do stuff like that. And if we have, you know, number seven, Bond, totally healthy, you better be careful about playing us totally man to man like that. We got guys in a system and a quarterback that certainly can make some big plays down the field. So, yeah, of course, I give us our, give ourselves a chance to win this game.
Stugots
Chris, is Steve Sarkeesian a coach you could see coaching in the NFL?
Host
I think, yes. I think he's one of the few that could probably make that crossover one. I mean, he's, he's a quarterback guy, he's an offensive guy. He's had a little history in the NFL. Of course, he worked for Nick Saban, which is as close as you're going to get in the college football level to NFL game planning and detail and preparation. I look at it and go, he's always got a few little new wrinkles and game plan ideas. So I do think he has that capability. Yes. I mean, it's, it's not easy as you know, but yeah, offensive game plan designer who's creative and knows how to kind of coexist and bring a quarterback along. I think that's always going to be fancied in the NFL. And yeah, I think he is on a short list of guys that could actually get that done.
Stugots
What do you make of these reports that Quinn Ewers might stay in college for a fifth year? Not at Texas, somewhere else. It's somewhere in the neighborhood of six to $10 million as opposed to going to the NFL.
Host
Yeah, it's crazy. I would actually, I would do that if I was him.
Stugots
Right.
Host
I, I had this conversation a little bit with, I think, Dan Patrick about two weeks ago and that that's what I expected. They're going to Arch Manning next year. That is not, that is not an option. They are super excited about what Arch Manning could be. And I, you know, and they're giving you the signals that they think they can be way greater than they are. Even now with Arch Manning at quarterback, if he gets time to play and gets the reps and all that yours. Right. I think if he was like, oh, wait, the NFL views me as a fringe first rounder or maybe a second rounder, I'd go, go, see you later. But the NFL doesn't view him like that. He's got to, he's got to make a few more people believers, just like you said. Again, like you saw in the Arizona State game, there's just a few throws and a few plays every game where you just go, wait, you're too good to miss that throw or lob the ball up to let somebody knock it down. I think he needs to go one more year and kind of work on some things to improve himself, which will then improve him, his stock, you know, in the NFL. Eyes or the people that are important in the NFL eyes.
Stugots
Chris, There are reports that I think five or six teams have reached out to Bill Belichick. Now Belichick is at North Carolina. Diana Rossini reported that he's staying at North Carolina, at least for now. You know Belichick very well. Is Belichick going to give Carolina at least one season?
Host
I think so. I would expect that, But I would still be. If I'm like, you know, the dean at North Carolina or whatever, I'd be a little worried right now. I would be. You know, I think Bill Belichick first off was, I think he panicked. That would be the first thing I think he wanted to know or have a deal kind of in place, right? Like, wink, wink, we're going to hire you. We're going to go through the interview process and do all the things that we need to do. But when it's all said and done, we'll be wink, wink, back to you, and we're going to hire Bill Belichick. He never got that. So I think because of that, he panicked a little bit and went to college football. But within that, anybody that knows him or has ever been around him, we all question whether he fits college football.
Stugots
Right.
Host
For a lot of reasons. I know you and I, we've all discussed this a little bit, but the recruiting, dealing with Jimmy and John, Johnny's mom, dealing with the fact that he's going to have to game plan way more simple than he ever has in his life. Is he going to be mentally intrigued by that? Like, Right. Is that going to keep him going when he has to play? Like, oh, I got to play cover 4 for 9 out of the 10 next snaps here because I got young kids who didn't get enough reps and I can't even do some of the crazy, awesome stuff that I can really do. So there's that aspect and all of that and let alone relating to young kids and a kid that's different than back in the old days when he grew up or anything like that. You hear Brady and Gronk, none of them thought he would do this or be able to coexist in a college environment. So that would scare me. And yeah, if you made me bet, I would say it's one and done. And then he hands it over to Stephen Belichick to become the head coach, and then he tries to find a spot. But I still would be scared right now because $10 million is chump change to any owner who wants to buy him out. $10 million. This chump change to Bill Belichick. I mean, Bill Belichick is swimming in it. He's got more money than he knows what to do with, so that means nothing. I think, in the long run, other than his reputation will take a big hit if he leaves right now.
Stugots
I think the job he wants, if there's an NFL job he wants to punctuate his career with, it would be the New York Giants, right?
Host
I mean, I think that would be his spot for sure, but I don't know if the Giants would be the place I'd want to go to right now, if I'm Bill Belichick, just because the Giants, I think, is a project, right? And I mean, and we know they're keeping their coach and their GM anyways. But, like, if you heard anything Michael Lombardi, who's close to Belichick, say, right? There's. The jobs this year are not viewed as that great. Right. Usually when you have seven or eight job openings, there's one or two that you look at and go, that team's pretty damn good. The coach was just horrible there and was messing it up. I'd like to take over that team. I think Chicago was that team in this hiring cycle. I think Bill was trying to get to Chicago because of that. Chicago's really ready. You just need another offensive lineman or two, maybe one more defensive playmaker, and you go, okay, we're pretty good. And now let's just bring this rookie quarterback along. I also think that's why Tampa was on his radar in a big way, because there was top balls, maybe retires and gets out. And he's looking at Tampa going, they got a lot of stuff that works down there. Everything else is a little bit of a project or unknown. But I feel like, to your point, though, I. If all was equal, yeah. I still think the Giants are a very special place to him in his heart.
Stugots
The only thing I'll say about that Chicago job is you have to deal with Jordan Love, the Vikings, and Dan Campbell and Jared goff the next 10 years, you know, I know.
Host
I know you're right. And that that's a tough thing to do. It's like, you know, I was kind of saying those same things with, like, Sean Payton and Jim Harbaugh. Like, wait, are you sure you want to go to the AFC west and deal with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes? Right. But sometimes you just got to take the best situation available and go, okay, this is. This allows me to be my best. And now, let's see If I can compete and beat the best at my best. And you know, that's sometimes all it all it boils down to Chris looking.
Producer
At the playoffs this weekend. Obviously, you know, every matchup is, is difficult, but is there a team you want to see more than the Texans at this moment that seems like the team that if you get your choice in the first round, especially if you're going on the road, Houston seems like a winnable game for the Chargers.
Host
Yes, agreed. I mean Houston, if they're not in the NFC South, AFC south, are they even in the playoffs? I, I mean, I don't know. They haven't played like a playoff football team the last 10 or 11 weeks. I mean, got off to a hearts hot start and what are they over the last 11 games I might be off by or so like they're 5 and 6, right? Something like that.
Stugots
Something like that, yes.
Host
It's nothing special. We got offensive concerns. Right. Everybody wants to blame CJ Stroud, which is stupid. When I watch CJ Stroud, he still hits every open throw. He still plays at a high level. There just ain't much there for him to do. They can't protect. They have long developing pass plays down the field and that doesn't make sense when you can't protect. Right? I mean, that makes no sense. You know, their running game is iffy. It's average at best. The defense has got some talent. It does. But you worry about it where, okay, they don't do a ton on defense. Two of their greatest assets are their pass rushers. And I think that gets wiped out a little bit in this game because Rashawn Slater and Joe Walt are damn good tackles. So they're not going to be like, oh, we gotta help with a tight end or a back in these situations. They're going to feel good about those matchups and because they're a little predictable on defense. Houston. Yeah, I think Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman will have some plays that'll screw them for, you know, lack of a better way to say it. I took the chargers to win 24 to 17. I don't have faith in Houston. Yeah, they've been going the wrong way for a long time here.
Stugots
PFT with Mike Florio every day on Peacock, the unbuttoned podcast. Football Night in America. Chris Simms is with us here on God Bless Football. What's the game you're most excited for this weekend?
Host
Oh, I, I think it's the Packers Eagles game has I think the biggest potential to be special just because I think the packers are one of the few teams in football that will never be physically outclassed by a team like the Eagles, the Lions, the Chiefs, the Ravens, they can hang right in there with them, right. The big question is, is Jordan love his health, the fact that he hasn't played that well, the fact that they're going into the playoffs after losing to Chicago and they were trying to win that game last week and the Eagles are going to be a fresh football team, you know, other than Jalen hurts like he hasn't played and he's just about to get out of concussion protocol. That's your only concern there. But that game has a chance. I'm taking the Eagles, right. But I still think there's a lot of heavy hitters on the field. Bothers me in Green Bay. They have no Christian Watson, right. Romeo Dobbs has been going through some stuff. Jordan Love, of course not at his best. That worries me a little bit. As far as Green Bay is concerned.
Stugots
If the Eagles happen to lose this game, is there a chance Nick Sirianni gets fired afterwards?
Host
I think that it could be a real possibility. Like my workmate Mike Florio who you just talked about in pft. I think he thinks there's a chance they write a team that talented, if they go out one and done right, there could be trouble. He also thinks there's a chance Baltimore Ravens, like if they go one and done with this team, Harbaugh could be in trouble if it looks bad against in the and let's say vice versa. The Baltimore dominates Pittsburgh. I, he has a thought and usually Mike, when he has a thought, he's getting inklings from somewhere that he thinks that Tomlin could be in trouble too. So you know, we got some playoff teams here certainly that could have some drama if things don't go the right way this weekend.
Stugots
You know, the Harbaugh one is interesting because he kind of skates by. He's won two playoff games in the last decade and he's had the two time MVP on his roster.
Host
And that's, that's what I think where it might come to a head if they disappoint here, right? I don't expect them to. I'm taking them to beat the Steelers. I think the Steelers are going like this and the Ravens are going like this right now I expect them to control the game. I picked Ravens 35 to 20. So if it goes as expected, he'll, he'll be okay. But yeah, I think that what you're saying the Ravens fans know that. And that's why, you know, every few years you kind of hear like a rumbling of, I don't know, is John Harbaugh still going to be the head coach of the Ravens? And I think it's kind of the things you're alluding to that, you know, rub some people the wrong way in that fan base.
Mikey A
Chris, what's wrong with the Steelers? They're on this giant skid, and there. There's no big injury or something where you could point to and go, oh, well, they lost that guy and that's why they're not doing it.
Host
Yeah, I think that people figured out how Russell Wilson led Pittsburgh Steelers want to play football a little bit. The one thing you see with Russell Wilson and watching back, even the Ravens game, the last one they played, which was 34, 17 Ravens, and it was closer than that. It was a misleading score. But, you know, Wilson's made some mistakes lately. Wilson's definitely turned down some completions. Middle of the field is still an issue with Russell Wilson. It's an issue. And if there's an advantage to have in this matchup. Fryer moved down the middle against Roquan Smith. There was people open down the middle in the last matchup against the Ravens. He's reluctant to throw the ball into those windows. I don't know if it's because he's shorter and he can't see or if he's just very protective of the ball. But he's going to have to be a little more aggressive in this one, I think, too. The other thing you start to realize is that when they don't have George Pickens and he's not focused on your. He's dropping the ball or talking too much, you can see that they're just not the same offense. There's nobody that scares you. So I think it's a little bit of all of that. And then the defense is good, but it's not great. I think that's probably the big thing. I look there. I'm expecting Baltimore to kind of control this game, Mikey. A like, jump off to a big lead and then kind of take the foot off the gas pedal and, you know, Pittsburgh kind of comes back to make it look respectable, but I don't think they're in the same class as the Baltimore Ravens right now.
Mikey A
Chris, how. How big a loss was it for the Vikings to lose in week 18 the way they did? Not not just losing the one seed in home field, but to be dominated by the team that you're ultimately going to have to go through to get to the Super Bowl.
Host
Yeah, I get you there right now. Where I. Where I think I'll fight back on you a little bit. Is the word dominate. Right. Because the score looks dominant. I understand that it does. But let's not forget Sam Darnold missed.
Mikey A
A lot of throws.
Host
A lot of throws, a lot of reads. Right.
Stugots
You might cost him a lot of money.
Host
Right. There was guys where you go, he's the first read, he's wide open, but he's already like, he was jittery and he was already moving to somebody else and it's like, wait, wait, the second guy's not even where he needs to be yet because you got off the first guy who's wide open for a touchdown. Just throw it. So yeah, he didn't play good, but Kevin O'Connell will be able to say it that way now. You know, they had four consecutive drives where three of them they were like inside the five yard line and one of them they were at the eight yard line and they got two field goals out of those four drives. That was it. That was it. The other two drives inside the five and came away with zero points. He's going to be able to sell to his team. Look, if Sam makes this thrower, hey, we've seen Sam make this ready if we play them again. This game ain't 31 to 9. Their defense played well for the better part of the football game. So like O'Connell said this on Monday, he said, we can't forget that we won nine in a row and we were really good. We didn't play our best last night and we messed up and that's what he's going to have to kind of sell and beat into the brain of his football team. 31 to 9 was misleading. I think that game was closer than that. And they certainly blew some opportunities to put some pressure on Detroit early in the football game and make it be a little bit of a different football game in general.
Stugots
Chris, after Lamar Jackson, who has the most amount of pressure on them headed into the postseason?
Host
Oh, I think, I think it's Josh Allen.
Stugots
So do I. I think they're kind.
Host
Of in the same boat when I look at it that way. Right. Like Lamar Jackson is for as great as he is. What is, what is it so far? Is it two playoff wins or. We had two.
Stugots
Yeah, right. Yeah.
Host
So, I mean, that's kind of remarkable for a guy that's the two time league mvp. Maybe about to be the third one. Like Mike EA was just talking about or you were talking about with the hardball stuff. And we've only won two games, so there's a lot of pressure on him. But Josh Allen has the same amount of pressure and it might not just be about win the big, it might not be winning playoff games, but it's like, can you get to the, can you get to the championship? Can you get to the Super Bowl? Can you get there that way? But I think those two are the two that are under the most pressure. They're so talented. They're as talented as we've ever seen in football. They're all time greats. They're just missing this part of, you know, their resume to say payoff, big wins and all that type of stuff. And that's why there's, there's a lot of pressure on him.
Stugots
So he has an opportunity here, Sims, because you know this, he has an opportunity to erase all the demons. He could beat Tomlin in the first round, he can go to Buffalo, take out Josh Allen in the second round, you can go to Kansas City and take out Mahomes in the AFC Championship game just to get to the Super Bowl.
Host
That's right. And that's what, well, and that's what Josh Allen's saying. He's going, I just gotta beat Sean Payton this week. And then if I beat Lamar Jackson and then I go on the road and we beat Kansas City, damn, all the demons will be off my back. So it's like, it's funny. They're in the same boat, right? It really is. It's crazy that way. And yeah, then to go to the super bowl like you said, and then have to deal with, you know, who knows what team, the Lions, the Eagles, and go, oh, well, they're pretty good. I, we, we gotta beat them. Does that count? Does this one count? I don't know what's gonna happen. Right? But these, these are, these are the things that we know. Greatness in the NFL pantheon, the hall of Famers, all that they're judged on these moments. And it's unfortunate that three greats like this are all on the same side of the bracket and gotta deal with each other. But that's just the way it is and that's what's going to make this playoffs. Awesome. Awesome.
Producer
If you, Chris, were just switching over now to the NFL coaching search right now, if you were an NFL head coaching candidate, which is the job that Chris Sims would want the most, because a lot of people now are saying, hey, the Patriots are a good landing spot because they have A quarterback, they're going to have some cap room. The idea of getting Trevor Lawrence, which we know you're never going to turn down, but the idea of getting Trevor Lawrence is something a lot of people are salivating over. Chicago is one that intrigues a lot of people. You now have Las Vegas that became available this week, where you have Tom Brady calling the shots, which might not be the best thing there, but which is one that if you were a head coaching candidate, you would desire the most.
Host
Well, Brady will know the right coaches. Right? You know, I know you guys released some shit on social media about me and all the damn Brady stuff last week.
Stugots
That was.
Host
Billy, I'm a believer in Brady. I am as far as a football mind. I like Tom Brady a lot. And in fact, it hurts me that that goes out on social media just because I like him. But I still stand by what I said. But either way, like, cut out all.
Producer
The, like, him stuff before this, then just play all this negative. He's going to say, now shut up.
Host
I don't like you, so shut that up.
Stugots
All right. Yes. This is why you're not invited to the Texas game. And me and Mikey. Oh, I'll be there.
Host
I think I, I think you hit the teams and the points there, Billy. I think you, you're. You're right in what you're saying, right? I mean, I know you don't like Trevor Lawrence and there might be other people in football that feel the same way. I get that. But it's still not a bad one to have. And the Jaguars a little bit, like you said, like I say with the Bears. Wait, we got receivers. We got a running back. We got two of them, actually. We got some pass rushers, we got some guys in the secondary. We just need to kind of improve the old line a little bit and get a. Maybe a better defensive tackle in there. So they're not far off the Bears. I already explained that. Right. Not far off. And you got the quarterback there and the Pat. The Patriots, you know, they're a little more work than the Jaguars and, And the Bears as far as the full team. But you do have Drake May, certainly. Right. But, you know, there's a lot more to do there. And that's where, you know, I feel bad for Gerard Mayo. Is that, like, they finished exactly where I think everybody thought they would finish? Like, nobody looked at the Patriots and went, oh, they're an under the radar, sleeping giant this year. Watch out for them. I mean, there's not a lot of bright spots on their football team. They got a few good secondary players, right. They got Drake May, they got Ramon Dre Stevenson. After that, everybody's going to be looking evaluated to see whether they should be the guys going forward. So, you know, there's a little more work there in New England, those other two.
Stugots
Chris, I want to explore just how far out I could push this. So if I told you I think the Rams are going to make it to the super bowl, would you be surprised?
Host
I think I would be. Right now I would, yeah. I, I Pain in the ass certainly. Right. I'm going to pick, I'm picking Minnesota to win that game this weekend, but only by a field goal. But I, I, yeah, I worry about what I've seen from the Rams offense and even though the Rams defense has been better as of late, I don't know if it's good enough to hold down the fort if the offense can't be explosive and put up some points. So I look at them to be team that could maybe, you know, they can win this weekend, maybe could upset one of the teams in the next round. I certainly don't think that's crazy, but I would, I would think it kind of ends there right around that, that story. That's, that's about it.
Stugots
If I told you the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were going to make it to the super bowl, you would say what?
Host
I would say the kind of, the same type of stuff. More though, I really worry about the Tampa Bay past defense. Their offense is capable of going to the Super Bowl. They can do it all. It's the defensive side and the past defense especially. I know I've made fun of them a little bit here on the show before, but I mean, Todd Bowles, the Bucks, they play defense every week like they're playing the 92 Cowboys. And I want to go, why? I mean, there was plays last week while I'm watching the game in the viewing room here at NBC and I'm going, alvin Camara's not playing and the Saints can't run the ball and there's six guys at the line of scrimmage. Look at this. I, I and I'm literally calling out, I guarantee they throw it over the middle where nobody is. I guarantee they do this. It's just way too aggressive in the run defense, way too aggressive, let alone they have injuries all over their secondary. It makes no sense. So that's why I don't have faith in that. They're just a little too much of a roller coaster team right now.
Stugots
So it seems like you'd be surprised by any team other than Philadelphia or the Lions to make it out of the nfc. Is that fair?
Host
I. I would say that's fair. I would have, like maybe about four, three weeks ago, I would have put Green Bay in that conversation, but they've lost me. I don't trust the offense right now. And Jordan Love and all that's gone down there. Christian Watson hurt now. So, yeah, I feel like if it's not Lions or Philadelphia, I'm going to be jaw dropped. Like, holy, I can't believe it.
Stugots
And in the afc, if it's any team other than the three teams, Baltimore, Buffalo, Kansas City, are you going to be surprised? Let's say the Chargers make it.
Host
Yes, I would. Same thing. I mean, like, jaw on the ground, like, what the. No way. Right? Yeah. I think it's the three heavy hitters. I'll be shocked. I will be absolutely shocked if it's not one of those three teams. 100% stugots.
Stugots
Now, here's the interesting one. If Cincinnati made the playoffs and then went on to make the super bowl, would you have been shocked?
Host
Probably not. No. Less than the other ones. Less than the other ones. I know, I know. That's what's crazy and that's what stinks. And that's what stinks about when a team that's good blows games early in the year or loses games they're not supposed to lose, then we. We get cheated out of the best possible playoff scenarios. So, yeah, they're not in it, but Denver's not a bad consolation. Denver with Sean Payton and Bo Nixon, they've already won the year. They're playing with house money. They'll be dangerous this weekend. I think that'll be a fun game, kind of one where it's a shootout and the Bills pull away late. That's kind of what I'm expecting.
Stugots
All right, we'll get you out of here in just a second. PFT with Mike Florio every day on Peacock, the unbuttoned podcast. Football night in America. He's off to Texas. He's going to the Cotton Ball. But hear me out on this, okay? Because I believe that the Chiefs have a different kind of pressure on them headed into the postseason. Last year, the story was Patrick Mahomes woke up one day, they had three road games to win. He called his wife. He said, I decided the Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl. Okay. This year, though, Chris, he has one of the most coveted thing in the sports. It reminds me of the Patriots, where they have A bi week. They have two home games. To get to a Super bowl, you have to take advantage of those opportunities. And if you're chasing Tom Brady to be the all time great, you need to be the all time best quarterback in NFL history. You need to do things that Tom has never done and no quarterback has ever done. And winning three straight is one of those things. There is some pressure here on the Chiefs to get it done right now.
Host
Definitely. I mean, that's why what they've done this year is remarkable. That's why Andy Reid should be more in the coach of the year candidate conversation. I don't get that. I don't get it. I mean, it's just, oh, hey, here's another challenge. They can't do that. Oh, they do it easily. Oh, okay. Oh, it's a. They. They can't be, you know, a top team in the AFC for a third year in a row and make a Super Bowl. Oh, they're the best record of football. Oh, okay. And they can do it. I mean. Yeah, they just. They don't. They've slayed so many dragons at this point, though. St. Gotts, they don't look at anything as pressure. They look at it all as like, yeah, bring it on. Bring it on. We're going to show you how great we are that I've been around them enough to know and seen them at practice and playoff games and all that. They don't back down from anything. Right. Just like the Patriots. They were the same way. Except the Chiefs are a little bit more of like, yeah, we want it. Bring it. Taylor Swift haters. Come on, bring it all. We love it. All right. That's where I don't think they feel the pressure. They. They like are. Instead of feeling the pressure, it's just a worse drive. The greatest thing ever, and we're going to just pedal to the metal and not even think twice about it and go for it. That's what's cool about the Chiefs, and that's where they've handled so many pressure moments that I don't even know if they feel pressure anymore.
Stugots
St. All right, but knowing Patrick, the way you know Patrick, you know, like, he knows that, right? He knows. He's. He's. Yes.
Host
He knows all the things you said. He knows. Exactly. To me, what you said is one of the big reasons they have stayed the course and done what they've done this year. Because they got a guy in Mahomes who then has a backup man in Kelsey who they could go, hey, they can every Day and Chris Jones is the same way in the defensive side. Not something special we can do this year. Nobody can do this. Nobody's done this. Those great Cowboy teams, the great steeler teams, the 49ers, Tom Brady and the Patriots, we can set aside. I might not be able to get to seven, but I can maybe get five or six ago. You never won three in a row, Tom. Right, all of that. And I think that's why they're a motivated team, because their motivators are motivated by what you're talking about.
Stugots
All right, Chris, Enjoy the weekend. Get off to Texas. Listen, the plane takes off when you get there. We all know that. Okay.
Host
I mean, well, no, no, what's. What's even worse is I. My wife just texted me and said they've canceled our flight. So I'm like, oh, my God. Because Dallas is having this weather issue, right? And I went to School of Texas, and if they get flurries, the state shuts down. They don't know how to handle cold or ice or snow, and we're having issues. So I'm already concerned about my ability to get there.
Mikey A
Road trip.
Stugots
Right now. I'm looking.
Todd
Car.
Stugots
I'm looking. Yeah, yeah. Just you and the kids.
Producer
Yeah, I see it right here, Chris. 23 hours, seven minute drive from New Jersey to Dallas.
Host
I got this, right? I'll drive.
Mikey A
I'll drive.
Producer
We'll do shifts.
Stugots
Mikey will drive, and you and I will sit in the back seat and smoke weed. Sims, let's go.
Producer
Whoa.
Host
I can't even believe it.
Mikey A
Gummies only in the car.
Stugots
Yeah. He's so upset. Look at him. He's crushed right now. He wants to go to tag. He wants to go to the Cotton Ball.
Producer
Well, where's the problem? Dallas. Why don't you fly into somewhere else and then just drive from there? In Texas, you have a private plane. You just tell them wherever to land.
Host
Who do you think I am that I have a private plane or can fly?
Stugots
You're. You're Sims. The plane's called.
Host
I mean, yeah, I wish, but, you know, big played in the 80s. He Ain't that rich. All right, Let me just tell you, okay?
Stugots
He'd be killing it today, though, man.
Host
No, he. I, for the first time ever in the last year, was the first time I ever heard my dad hit the point of his life where he was jealous of the new contracts, right? It was the first time ever. My dad's always been like, hey, I'm happy. The players are awesome. And then one day, he was. I can't believe this money some of these guys are getting. Holy. Can you believe blah blah blah's about to get 40 million or whatever. You know, it's just crazy. It really is.
Stugots
It was Danny Dimes, wasn't it? It was. No, it was.
Host
You believe in Danny Dimes in the Sims household? So it wouldn't be.
Stugots
Oh my God. I love you guys.
Producer
All right.
Stugots
Good luck at the Texas, man. Sorry about that. Yeah.
Host
All right.
Stugots
I know.
Host
I'll see you guys.
Stugots
See ya. Enjoy Super Wild Card weekend. You'll figure out a way so you're sick.
Host
Wild Card Weekend. They canceled the super. Finally.
Stugots
No, I call it Super Wild Card Weekend. I don't give a shit what they cancel. I'm calling it Super Wild Card.
Host
I'm gonna call it Super Wild Card.
Stugots
I like it.

Okay, so Gordy, we, we, we were talking about cyber squatting. Somehow we were looking up websites that we could own that people that would then pay us millions of dollars for. And we stumbled across JoshAllen.com and found out that someone in Buffalo owns JoshAllen.com and it is a man named Ron and his associate Todd. And Ron and Todd both live in Buffalo and they both buy up a bunch of websites and phone numbers. And then we're like, would you like to meet Gordy Gronkowski? And like, we know Gordy. We're like, okay, perfect.
Stugots
People.
Producer
I don't know how many rods and Todd's you hang out with, but they, they claim to know you. Okay, perfect.
Gordy Gronkowski
I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. I mean, if they could give us a good discount on it, that would be good.
Stugots
Gordy, I tried. Listen, I was negotiating, okay? And your name came up because we said, listen, if you give us the JoshAllen.com domain for a hundred thousand dollars less, perhaps we could get you in a room or a suite with Gordy Gronkowski.
Gordy Gronkowski
Yep, there you go. Maybe, maybe we'll even bring Papa Gronk.
Stugots
Yeah, well, they claim to know him, too.
Producer
Yeah, yeah, they claim to know him, too.
Gordy Gronkowski
Last time I was on the show, we had Papa Gronk sitting on the bed doing his thing.
Stugots
Right.
Gordy Gronkowski
In his underwear.
Stugots
I think he went to and out.
Gordy Gronkowski
Oh, did he really? Oh, my gosh.
Carl Douglas
Hey, Billy, check and see if they have Carl douglas.com available. I want to talk about that one.
Producer
All right, hold on. But here's the thing. Don't say that too loud, Carl, because then. Then someone will buy it. And. And I will tell you. I'll tell you this. He said that most of his business was lawyers, that he would buy up law firms. So.
Carl Douglas
Yeah, I get it, I get it, I get it.
Producer
It's possible that he's done that.
Carl Douglas
I think it's already taken from the OJ Years. I tried to get one way back then, and I think it was already taken.
Producer
Well, it could have expired. Let's see here.
Stugots
I think it is taken, but they're not doing much with it.
Carl Douglas
I get it. During my life. Straight my life.
Producer
All right, well, Carl's got a ghost you got. So if you want, we can start getting picks done because we have a little bit of controversy and I don't know where K. Funk is. He's doing one of his disappearing actions, apparently.
Stugots
Oh, no.
Gordy Gronkowski
I have too much smearing off.
Stugots
Yeah. Did he lose?
Producer
Well, that's what is up for debate and dispute. Here is the last time. If you remember, we had a situation where we were discussing the playoff games in college, and they were only going to count if he did well. Now, I don't really care about whether he did well or not. I want you guys to do well. It's really the truth. So I was really kind of banking on if you guys did well, we would maybe count them, and if you guys did poorly, we wouldn't. Carl had a very rough NFL week. If you did not include the playoff games, he. He was 2 and 3. But if you included the playoff games, Carl was 6 and 3 because he won all of the playoff games. Correct now.
Carl Douglas
Correct.
Producer
More impressive was Mike Rollace. Mike Rollace had a very good four in one week. Now, if you include the playoff games, he had an eight in one week. And here's. Here's where we really need to kind of pay attention is mojo was.05 in NFL games with his 6 and 9 theory that he was trying to pull off his college. His college games didn't help him much. I think he went 1 in 6 at the end because he was just saying, I don't care about that game and he wasn't really making picks. K Funk had a two and three week, which isn't great, but from what I have, and I need to go back and check a little more thoroughly, he ended up being three and four and Share Bear was one and four, but he won three of the four. So what do we want to rule here? Do we want to count the college games or not this week?
Carl Douglas
Yes, absolutely. We said we were gonna count them. It doesn't matter how good he did. We said we're gonna count him. We gotta count him.
Producer
Okay, fine.
Stugots
This is a man of integrity, Billy.
Producer
Gordy, I don't think you said in your picks, but I'm gonna assume I.
Gordy Gronkowski
Do everything opposite of K. Funk if I'm not on the show.
Producer
Okay, well, I'm just gonna assume that you went 40 in the playoffs and we won't bother you. So we'll say that you were 4 0.
Stugots
What I heard last week was Gordy say for the first time he'll go opposite Mojo. That's what I heard.
Producer
So. So by my records, you're six and one, Gordy. So we'll just wrote that right there.
Gordy Gronkowski
I had a tough start and I was coming on high and, you know, I was probably going to be right around that record anyways.
Producer
Okay, perfect.
Carl Douglas
He needs the help. I love Gordy. He needs the help.
Host
He needs help.
Carl Douglas
Give him the help.
Producer
Okay, perfect.
Stugots
Yeah. I need a lot of help.
Host
Right.
Stugots
It's official. Yeah.
Gordy Gronkowski
All right.
Stugots
So we're just gonna do this because we have. We Share Bear's not here. We don't have Mike Rollis, we don't have Mojo, we don't have King Funk. So you ready?
Producer
Well, I have picks for Mike Rolls and I have picks for Share Bear at the moment.
Stugots
Okay.
Mikey A
I have picks for Mojo and K. Funk. Mojo got them right and K. Funk got them wrong.
Producer
Okay, well, there you go, Easy peasy.
Stugots
We're picking six games. Are you telling me before the games are played that K Funk has already got Owen 6?
Mikey A
I'll let you know in the fourth quarter what K Punk picked.
Carl Douglas
Are we picking college games this week? No college this week.
Producer
No colleges.
Stugots
We have one game we could do. We have the game tomorrow, Billy.
Producer
Yeah, fair enough.
Stugots
I get it.
Producer
Well, whatever you want, Carl. You want to do college, let's do college. Whatever.
Stugots
Let's just agree on this that K. Funk is owing seven next.
Producer
Yeah.
Stugots
Okay. Okay.
Carl Douglas
He's gonna have a heart attack. He's gonna have a heart attack. I love K. He's have a Heart attack, guys.
Producer
He does seem to take it more personally than everyone else.
Carl Douglas
Yeah, he does. He's a competitive guy, and he thinks it's personal.
Stugots
I love him. All right, so you ready? You guys ready to do this?
Producer
Yeah.
Stugots
All right. Because Carl's got to get out of here. He's in his car. He's on his way to work, so we got to get him out of here. Let's go to the first game. Wild card weekend. Chargers at Texans. Texans are three point underdogs at home. They haven't been playing well. Chargers playing very, very well. So I'll go to you first, Gordy. Gordy. Chargers are minus three at Houston. Who you taking here?
Gordy Gronkowski
You know what? I. I like the home team and the points. I know they're kind of beat up Houston, but I think it's still going to be a tight game. I don't really ever see the charges blowing people out, so I'm going with Houston.
Stugots
All right, Billy, you have Share Bears picks.
Producer
Yeah. Share Bear took the Chargers. Mike Rollis took the Texans.
Stugots
Okay. And K Funk is. Oh. And one. And Mojo was one zero. Carl, Chargers at Texas. Chargers are minus three. Mikey A. Thank you for that joke. I'm not gonna stop saying it. Chargers are minus three at the Texans. Who you got, Carl?
Carl Douglas
I'm a lifelong Angelino. We hate the Chargers, but in this game, I'm gonna go with them because they're playing well. Give me the Chargers. I'll give them the point, though.
Stugots
All right, Carl is taking the Chargers. Next game is Steelers at Ravens. Ravens -9 and a half points at home. Carl, I'll start with you. Who you take it here.
Carl Douglas
My wife's entire family is from Pittsburgh. She's gonna hate me, but I'm gonna take the Ravens. I don't think they can score for Pittsburgh, so I'm taking the Ravens. Give it the points.
Stugots
All right, Billy, who does Rollace and Share Bear have?
Producer
Share Bear and Mike Rollace both have the Steelers.
Stugots
All right, Gordy, who you taking here?
Gordy Gronkowski
We have four G and G fitness retail stores in the heart of Pittsburgh. We help supply the Steelers with their fitness equipment. You know, I just think they're. They're gonna, you know, last longer on the field because we beat these guys up. So I'm going with Steelers, baby.
Stugots
You're going with the Steelers. And you're giving your own company credit for the Steelers. I love that. What if the Ravens were a client, you would have taken them?
Gordy Gronkowski
I would have. Then I wouldn't have brought that situation.
Mikey A
Up with how Hot he's been. Maybe the Ravens want to give him a call. Just saying.
Stugots
Right, right.
Producer
Just saying.
Stugots
All right.
Mojo
We have to be quick and we.
Stugots
Have to be efficient here. By the way, Mojo, if you want to drop back off, we already gave you an undefeated needed weight.
Host
Oh, sweet.
Mikey A
Well, really, what I did was I gave K. Funk a winless week and I gave you opposite funk, so.
Mojo
Yeah, you didn't have to give him that. He was gonna produce that on his own. That's what he does. We have a whole season's worth of results to back that up. Mathematical factual statement, Carl Douglas. That would be an open shut case if he was in law.
Carl Douglas
There you go, man. There you go. There you go.
Producer
Well, here's how, here's how it would have happened is that K. Fung never showed up and he never sent his picks. So by our rules, that's a forfeit. So you do opposite forfeit. You'd get all the wins, I think.
Stugots
Yeah, yeah. Don't pick a thing, Mojo. Don't. You're good. Wait, just, Just hang around here.
Carl Douglas
I mean, he's gonna have a heart attack next week. You're gonna kill my guy KFOK next week when he hits him.
Producer
Yeah, I mean, you can, you can pick game for funsies, but I feel like we're locked in at that ruling notebook.
Mojo
Gonna say is my question.
Producer
It's a great question.
Stugots
It's gonna say he didn't show up and we gave him an O and 6. That's what he's gonna say.
Producer
Forfeit.
Stugots
Yeah.
Mojo
Considering he's the one that individually texts us every single hour of every single day leading into this show every week.
Producer
It's odd.
Mojo
You have perfect attendance.
Producer
Yeah.
Stugots
So, Mojo, what would you like to do? Do you want to pick the games or.
Mojo
No, I'll pick the games. I, I.
Stugots
All right, you're. Listen, no pressure. You're undefeated, okay? Chargers attacks and Texans plus three at home. What are you taking there?
Mojo
Chargers at Texans. Give me Sean Merriman and the Chargers, baby.
Producer
All right.
Stugots
When's the last time he's playing?
Mojo
He's playing this weekend, right?
Producer
I think he's day to day, but it's, it's trending that way.
Mikey A
Been questionable since 04.
Stugots
All right, Mojo. Steelers at Ravens.
Carl Douglas
Raven.
Mojo
That's a big ass spread, too, but the Spruce master ain't scared. Baltimore all day. Steelers are having a really, really good run right now.
Stugots
Okay, yeah, we're back. We're back on track here. So next game, Broncos at Bills. Bills minus eight and a half Billy, who did Rawls and Share Bear take here?
Producer
Mike Rawles has the Bills. Share Bear has the Broncos.
Stugots
Okay, let's go to Gordy first here. Gordy, Bills. I know Gordy's taking Bills minus.
Gordy Gronkowski
Right over me. Just skip right over me.
Stugots
You know, I'm going to. I think you're taking the Bills, Gordy.
Producer
Yeah, absolutely.
Gordy Gronkowski
We have a fitness store right in Buffalo that, you know, that's our hometown. I supply the fitness equipment to the Bills. So, yes, I gotta go with Jay Allen. Let's go. Let's go, baby.
Stugots
All right, Carl Douglas, are you taking here? Bills minus eight and a half at home, taking off Bo Nicks and the Broncos.
Carl Douglas
I think the Bills are going to win, but I'm taking the Broncos because I think they're going to cover. Give me the Broncos.
Stugots
All right, Bills win. Broncos cover. Mojo. Who you take it.
Mojo
I'm gonna take the Bills because they're gonna have to make a statement win here this week to kick off the players playoffs. But I'm mostly going to take the Bills because the first time. You might have to censor me on this afterwards, depending on what Gord says is best. But the first time I went over to the Gronkowski family household, they had a massive, massive party going on. Go figure. And they introduced me to the game of slip and flip. If you're not familiar with this game, you do a sprint, you dive, you slide down. A slip and slide. Theirs was literally 40 yards long. It was for. It's the longest one I've ever seen. Then you get up, you have to do a flip cup at the end of the line, then baton style, you have to sprint all the way back to the beginning, tag in the next guy, and it's a relay race of who's gonna win. That's slip and flip. So I'm watching this, and I'm like, this is awesome. I can't wait to play this. There's an athletic component. There's a party component. I'm in. I decided not to because someone decided that everyone was going to go in for a round of their. A round of shots, and one of their buddies, who will remain nameless, stayed out at the slip and slide and use the bathroom at the top of the slip and slide. So that way when they resume the game, they would be sliding right through it, which I thought was very funny. So because of that, Gordy's face looks.
Mikey A
Like he hasn't heard this yet.
Stugots
And he slid through a bunch of things.
Carl Douglas
Looked like he did not know this.
Gordy Gronkowski
I Slid through it.
Stugots
That's what you're telling me?
Producer
Yeah.
Mojo
Well, unless Gord was the one that did it.
Gordy Gronkowski
Well, I did.
Host
We don't know.
Gordy Gronkowski
We don't know because I want to know now.
Mojo
Yeah, I thought that was pretty awesome, so I'll take that now.
Gordy Gronkowski
I don't think it is.
Stugots
Yeah, but I'll go with it.
Mojo
All right, Lord, I'm texting you right now who it was, and I'm gonna.
Gordy Gronkowski
Say, yeah, I knew it wasn't me.
Stugots
Wait, so, Gordy, he's gonna text you who it was, and then feel free to. To share it with us. It's okay.
Producer
Yeah, I don't want to get you two guys. Carl. Carl's got to go. He's writing things down. He's got a case coming. I got an eye on Carl.
Stugots
Thank you, Billy.
Host
Thank you, Billy.
Stugots
Appreciate it. Appreciate it.
Mikey A
Hey, these are bills, Carl. These are billable hours.
Stugots
Yeah. I'm sorry, Carl. Our apologies.
Carl Douglas
No problem. No problem, guys. No problem.
Producer
Maybe speed picks for Carl, and then he can enjoy as much as he wants. And when he's got to go, he can go.
Stugots
All right, packers and Eagles. Eagles minus four and a half. Who you taking, Carl?
Carl Douglas
Give me the Eagles. I'm. I'm worried about Love's arm, and I'm worried about Christian Watson being gone. Give me the Eagles.
Stugots
All right, taking the Eagles. I'm gonna get you out of here. Call commanders at Bucks. Bucks minus three. Who you taking?
Carl Douglas
I'm going with my head. My heart, not my head. Give me the Commanders. I know the Bucks may win, but give me the Commanders.
Stugots
All right, Carl, promote that law firm before you get out of here.
Carl Douglas
Hey, guys. Douglas X Law, we're in trial right now in Compton on a wrongful death case seeking justice for the family of Fred Williams iii. Wish me luck.
Stugots
All right? And, Carl, we wish you luck. With all the fires and everything going on out there, you'll be in our thoughts and our prayers the entire weekend. You, your friends, your family, everyone. Good luck to you, and hopefully you guys get through it.
Carl Douglas
Thank you, brother. May God bless. See you guys next week.
Host
Love you.
Stugots
All right.
Gordy Gronkowski
Thank you, buddy.
Stugots
He is fantastic. I love that man. All right, so where we leave off? So, Gordy, packers at Eagles. Eagles minus four and a half. Who you take it.
Gordy Gronkowski
I'm going with the packers. Taking the points.
Stugots
Okay. Did Mojo send you the name yet?
Gordy Gronkowski
Yeah, he did, but if I click on it on my cell phone, I'm worried I might not be able to get back.
Mojo
Okay, that is a good line.
Host
Dude.
Stugots
Wow.
Mojo
That was incredible. And it's true too.
Stugots
Mojo, you take it here. Eagles minus four and a half.
Mojo
Here's what Mojo's gonna do. Mojo's gonna flip the script. Today the packers broke an 11 game win streak against the Chicago Bears. Who suck all the asses. Our arch rival. Very much upsetting Mojo. Now, you would think that that would beat the message into their head to flip this thing around for the playoffs, but I'm not sure it's enough right now. So I'm going to take the Eagles against the packers for the first time all season, knowing that every single member of the packers football team listens to God bless football to hear the spread master call their name every week. And when they hear that I took the other guys, they're going to be so pissed off to prove me wrong that they're absolutely going to smash the Eagle's face in. So that's what I'm doing.
Mikey A
All right.
Stugots
I love it. Billy, who did Share Bear at raw estate?
Producer
Share Bear took the Eagles. Rawles took the Packers.
Stugots
All right, Gordy, I'm tempted to tell you just to go check the text and then come back to the zoom.
Gordy Gronkowski
Maybe I already did check it.
Producer
Oh.
Mojo
Maybe that's why he's not sharing who it is. But we'll try next week.
Stugots
Commanders at Bucks. Gordy, do I need to to skip you here? Do we know?
Gordy Gronkowski
I actually. What's the spread on it?
Stugots
Bucks are minus three at home against the Commanders.
Gordy Gronkowski
I think Bucks pull it off. I'm going to the game. I am tailgating, so I will be a little emotional, but I think it's going to be a close game. I'm going to take Washington.
Stugots
All right, you're taking Washington. Billy, who did Share Bear Raw state for this game?
Producer
Share Bear took the Bucks. Raw. Let us take the Bucks.
Stugots
All right, Mojo, who you going with? Commanders at Bucks. Bucks minus three at home.
Mojo
You know, Mojo's name used to be Dean.
Gordy Gronkowski
Way less exciting middle name, if you're wondering.
Mojo
That's true. That's true. And Dean, he didn't party. Dean studied late. Dean went to bed early. Dean did all the right things.
Producer
Dean has kids.
Mojo
Once Dean met Gordon Gronkowski. Gordon Dean Gronkowski Jr. In Washington D.C. that's when the journey to Mojo be began. And because of that reason, I'm taking Washington.
Gordy Gronkowski
It all began same exactly right, yeah.
Stugots
Are you saying that. Are you saying Dean's a dad but Mojo is not? Is that what you're saying?
Mojo
Yeah. Well, no, because Mojo is probably more times over. A dad than. Than Dean actually is.
Stugots
Okay. All right. But they're different people, right?
Mojo
I mean, well, we don't know this.
Stugots
Yeah.
Mojo
Mojo parties. Dean does. Dean does not party. Dean hasn't left.
Mikey A
Dean is a father. Mojo is a dad.com available, by the way.
Stugots
Do we know if mojo.com I don't know. All right, so, Gordy, promote. Promote your great company on the way out here. We appreciate you guys taking the time to do this again.
Gordy Gronkowski
New Year's resolution. Everyone needs to get back into great shape. It starts with one step at a time. Make sure you hit us up@ggfitness.com Gronk Fitness. From Design to delivery, we have all the fitness solutions and fitness equipment for you, love. God bless football. Thank you, guys, as always. It was so good to be back today.
Stugots
Ah, we love you, Gordy. You are fantastic. You're certain you don't know these guys in Buffalo? I mean. Yeah, yeah.
Gordy Gronkowski
I'll send it to you guys on the side, too, on that. Who pissed on the.
Stugots
Oh, on the side. Wow. I can't wait. All right, Mojo, on the way out here, promote whatever it is you want to promote, only the way you get.
Mojo
All right, guys. Well, it's New Year's. Everybody's got to get back in shape. We got to do this thing one step at a time. And to do that, you're gonna have to go out there and get the best fitness equipment on the planet. G and G Fitness. Gronk Fitness. You just got to go out there if you want the gear that the champions used. And that's what you gotta do. So check us out. G and G Fitness. Let's go, baby. Let's go.
Producer
All right, boys.
Stugots
Mojo, congratulations on being undefeated this weekend.
Producer
Yeah.
Mikey A
Once again, 4K funk.
Producer
Yeah. Nah.
Stugots
Well, he didn't show up.
Mojo
Rock on. God bless.

Hosts:
The episode kicks off amidst the excitement of the playoff season, blending sports analysis with unconventional discussions about domain trading and entrepreneurial ventures. The hosts set the stage for an engaging mix of football insights, pop culture commentary, and surprising business discussions.
Stugotz initiates a deep dive into college football coaching, focusing on James Franklin and his perplexing record against top-ranked teams.
Stugotz (02:29): "James Franklin is 1 in 18 in his career versus AP top five teams. You're not even gonna build up to it. You're just gonna come dunk on James Franklin bright and early in the morning."
Mikey A (03:38): "As someone who sprinkled some shekels in his draftking account on Notre Dame, I never doubted you for a second... that you were going to make sure that you went back to your standard of losing big games."
The hosts critique Franklin's postseason success, deeming it less legitimate and contrasting it with his overall challenging record. They express skepticism about Franklin's rise to becoming a "Big game James," emphasizing the inconsistency in his coaching outcomes.
A significant portion of the episode transitions into a discussion about domain trading, specifically focusing on JoshAllen.com.
Stugotz (09:34): "We were discussing on the show how disappointed we were in ourselves for not securing certain domains... Josh Allen.com."
Todd (10:11): "I fought for this one for several years and finally got the owner to sell to me... Josh Allen is our messiah, right? ... it's just a great investment for me to have and hold and wait for the right opportunity to present itself."
Stugotz (11:14): "How much did you buy it for, if you don't mind me asking?"
Todd (10:49): "It's five figure range. In the five figures."
The discussion reveals how Todd and his associate Ron have been acquiring high-value domains, particularly those related to prominent sports figures. They strategize on leveraging these domains for substantial financial gains, highlighting the intersection of sports fandom and digital real estate.
Todd introduces his entrepreneurial venture aimed at combating the opioid crisis through a product named Fenex.
He elaborates on the societal impact of the opioid epidemic and his mission to make testing accessible and affordable. The startup seeks seed funding to scale production and distribution, underscoring the importance of responsible drug use and harm reduction.
The conversation between Stugotz, Todd, and guest Gordy Gronkowski becomes a dynamic negotiation scenario centered around acquiring the JoshAllen.com domain.
Stugotz (10:57): "What are you selling it for now?"
Todd (11:14): "If you work for Nike at $1 million... I'm at 300k."
Stugotz (30:10): "What if we just said... we just put you in a room with Josh Allen. What do you think?"
Todd (11:36): "Yeah. We'll give you 10,000 off in a check for 299."
The hosts propose creative incentives, such as exclusive experiences with Gordy Gronkowski, to negotiate the purchase of premium domains. This segment blends humor with business acumen, showcasing the hosts' knack for unconventional deal-making.
