Zazlow
They were given a little bit of extra effort. Word got to them what was on the line tonight. Not the playoffs. Real ballers. No, this was a Zazlow game.
Dan
Tyler hero put up 30 points and he two threes in overtime. Makes me forget just how bad we suck this year and all the Jimmy Butler shit. Cause now Dan's gotta buy him tickets. Yeah, who cares if the Heat gets wet by the Cavs? Zaz gets to see Pro Jam. He lies and says they've got a chance to win. Zaz gets to the Sheepro Jam. The heat already gains below.500, but Zaz gets the Seafro Jam. Who knows if they'll ever be good again. Zaz gets the CPRO Jam.
Roy
My favorite part of that ridiculous three hour live stream that introduced us to too much Zaz over the next three months. Could have been working for free. Instead we're going to pay him to be a plague around everything we're doing. My favorite part of the three hours of analysis is there was only one player in that game in which we were asking the question, is he a good player? And it was Davion Mitchell, the person who won that game at the end. Because the only person who we were questioning out there is, is that person a good player somehow Zaslo is still confident about tonight. He should not be tomorrow. Tomorrow night he should not be. And Mike and Roy head into right now. Tonight, the hockey playoffs. Already we've got Chris with the heavy tongue. Billy, are you going to be dragged into this mess?
Chris
Because I'm watching. I told you I'm watching. I mean, I know the outcome already, but I'll be there to support you.
Roy
What is the outcome? Lightning. Lightning ain't shit.
Chris
Your word's not mine.
Roy
They.
Chris
They are your words that came out of your mouth.
Roy
They were, but they were your words verbatim. I was quoting you.
Chris
Plenty of us own words. Really. I mean, we just say things.
Zazlow
But Pat Riley owns three feet.
Chris
That's true. Wish you could bring one here.
Roy
But that's. You guys aren't scared at all. You guys are not. Roy, you do. You've done this every postseason. You're one. You're one for two. Okay.
Billy
Yeah, but that was a big one, wasn't it?
Roy
Well, you're one for 30. Really like you. You've been very hopeful about the Panthers. Many, many times in my lifetime. Many like this. This is rarefied air for you. I don't know where, as a sports fan, I think Roy is living right now. As a sports fan, the top end of what sports can feel like. And this is a first round matchup. Don't like it for my feelings. Don't like it from my heart. Don't like it for my history. Would like something easier in the first round as the defending champions.
Zazlow
Oh, I love it right now. There is an element to it where, okay, let's get the super hard series out of the way first. When? The longer you go in the Stanley cup playoffs, the more beat up physically you're going to be. Let's get it on right now, baby. Come on. And you know what? Who knows what happens at Washington and Montreal. It took overtime for Washington to beat Montreal. You may wind up playing. Maybe it's Montreal in the conference finals, maybe it's Ottawa in the conference finals. Whatever. Let's face a hard team right now when we're fully healthy.
Mike Ryan
I'm nervous because the Panthers haven't played really well over the last month and a half. And also it kind of felt like as the season went on, wow. Florida definitely shut that Rangers window. Florida definitely shut that Bruins window. We thought that we kind of shut that lightning window.
Billy
We did.
Chris
It's closed.
Mike Ryan
And they revamped their roster. They made a lot of ballsy moves. Said goodbye to Sam coast, but they brought. They made an aggressive move, got Jake Gensel on their team. They reshaped their roster a little bit and they're ascending. Florida hasn't Been really great on form lately. But Florida's getting guys back and you wonder if they'll subscribe to this championship mentality that teams that have gone on cup runs subscribe to, which is, yeah, we can turn it on when we want.
Tyler
You're talking about. Oh, go ahead, Roy.
Roy
Yeah.
Billy
The subtraction of Steven Stamkos hasn't really affected the Lightning's power play at all. And I expect this, this series to be overly physical. Like if it's going to go seven, then we might lose some players in, in this series unfortunately. But yeah, I believe it's going to go six myself, but it's probably going to end up going seven.
Chris
Well, hold on. If you know you're the Panthers and you know that there's a strength in the Lightning's power play, right, Just follow the rules, throw them off, don't make any penalties, don't give them that advantage at any point in time. But the Panthers strength is playing aggressively. So it's a fine line. Don't cross it.
Mike Ryan
It's a double edged sword.
Chris
Fine blue line.
Tyler
You guys are talking about owning words. Do you think Carson Beck trademarked the U is Beck.
Mike Ryan
If he didn't, we should. Do you guys have to be here next year?
Roy
Do you guys have the video of the. Of the latest cavender twin drama and Carson Beck? Is that something. Isn't that something we were going to try to get to today that we never got to?
Mike Ryan
Mike, I. I don't understand how we're post you asking me the question.
Roy
I'm asking.
Chris
We have the video if you want.
Roy
To play us asking everybody are we.
Mike Ryan
Asking aren't we like the voice kept getting going higher. I'm like if you want to pal.
Tyler
I think we're tiptoeing around your feelings to be honest.
Mike Ryan
My feelings is we're playing a clip of someone's ex girlfriend talking bad about them. So let's go.
Tyler
An athlete at the University of Miami this past season, two of them actually, including a current student that's the granddaughter of Donald Trump.
Chris
That's two athletes actually in the video.
Tyler
And two of them are public figures. So I think it's kind of fair game.
Mike Ryan
Look, he definitely has it. He moves a needle. Carson Beck play the clip.
Cavender Twin
So basically we were supposed to like we go to Nashville, right? And they want to come to Nashville. Breakout. All the stress on his phone like this type of whole time like do you get.
Roy
But.
Cavender Twin
But like does he have like friends? No, no.
Roy
Like all.
Cavender Twin
Nobody likes it. And he wouldn't talk. He like an ego. He's like, he wanted people to stop him. Like take a picture. He would like people in the bar and I'd be embarrassed, like I'm sorry. Like I'd be like very embarrassed. And I was like, oh my God, how are you any. So like I broke up with him then I broke up with him and.
Chris
Like all these cheating came out.
Cavender Twin
I had no idea. I didn't break up with him cuz I broke up with him cuz they're like.
