Stugach. I want to tell you a story. I'm serious here. My wife and my two daughters, they begged me to buy a peloton. So I bought a peloton. And then I watched that peloton sit in my office and stare at me. So you know what I did one day I looked at it and so I decided to get off my ass and I jumped on the peloton because no one else was using it and I paid for it. I mean, so why not? Then I realized eventually that they bought it for me. And I got to tell you, way more challenging than I could have ever imagined. Peloton coaches are walking the walk. I love the coaches. I do the Grateful Dead one. It's fantastic. They have a sub 3 hour marathon runner, military trained athlete, a former college basketball player, and so many other well rounded coaches on their team. All this experience really shows in their classes, which are never short of challenging, especially for me. So I jumped on it that first time. It was challenging, more challenging than I thought. And then I wanted to beat the bike and so I kept jumping on it. And I absolutely love it. I mean, I'm the only one who uses it, but again, they got it for me. I mean, I had no idea. That's a little passive aggressive that you think. Find your push, find your power. With peloton@1peloton.com.
Mike Ryan
Do you guys go through phases where you get really into one snack for a while and then you just like eating that snack a lot and buying it a lot and then you kind of get sick, sick of it over a span of time and then you're like onto a new snack, something that you're just like munching on. I am really into something right now and it is very expensive and it is very random and I can't stop eating it.
Chris Cote
Cocaine.
Dan Le Batard
Give more details without saying what it is.
Mike Ryan
Macadamia nuts.
Stugotz
Okay.
Chris Cote
The exact opposite.
Jeremy
Are they so hard to find? Like there was like a Mac nut shortage?
Mike Ryan
There was, yeah. That's terrible.
Jeremy
Like the price went up like crazy.
Mike Ryan
They're not cheap. They're like slightly more expensive than almonds, which was my previous snack. But they're very, you know, almonds are very filling, lots of protein. So I was like waking up in the morning, I eat some almonds, go out, get some lunch, then have some almonds after. It was like my little like palate cleanser. After I.
Jeremy
You eat like a squirrel.
Dan Le Batard
What's the unhealthiest nut?
Mike Ryan
Probably Macadamia nuts.
Dan Le Batard
I think I've heard pistachios. I've heard.
Mike Ryan
I think all nuts are healthy, though.
Jeremy
Have you ever had an Iranian pistachio?
Chris Cote
Okay.
Mike Ryan
I've heard they're amazing.
Juju
They're not.
Jeremy
Do the Iranian pistachio. Like, I don't. I don't know how much I can reveal because I don't even think that it's legal to eat them here. I found I was given them by an Iranian Iran, and it was incredible. It doesn't even taste like a pistachio. It's the greatest pistachio I've ever guys ever see.
Mike Ryan
Best in show. Because I feel like, what a movie.
Dan Le Batard
I'm just two left feet all time.
Mike Ryan
It was a Harlan Crow. Christopher Guest. I'm just naming nuts. Pistachio nut, pine nut.
Dan Le Batard
Christopher Guest, one of the most awkward interviews in our show's history.
Chris Cote
Oh, for real awkward.
Dan Le Batard
Guest.
Mike Ryan
He was on the show.
Dan Le Batard
He was on for about three minutes.
Jeremy
It was bad. I don't think Dan got. No Dan. Like, Dan did one of those collapse and, like, when he puts two claps over his. All right, we're done here.
Mike Ryan
Oh, no. But Christopher Guest is a comedian.
Jeremy
Yeah. He was deadpan.
Dan Le Batard
I was gonna say Guest didn't bring a lot of energy, and Dan checked out on it.
Jeremy
We just kind of. It was just two left feet. It was essentially two left feet.
Chris Cote
Those are the days. REM Dan would just, like, show also, right. Dan would just unplug an interview like.
Dan Le Batard
The clap and done with an interview. Like. We haven't seen that in a while, dude.
Chris Cote
That was. Those are the.
Mike Ryan
Well, now we just, you know, grit our teeth through it. We haven't had one in a while, though.
Jeremy
No, it's been. It's been pretty good there.
Mike Ryan
Maybe we're due.
Jeremy
Yeah.
Juju
Bad news, Jess. Macadamia nuts. Most unhealthy nut.
Mike Ryan
I thought so. They taste like butter. They're so good.
Dan Le Batard
I thought pistachio.
Juju
I've got on this list almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pecans, pistachios.
Dan Le Batard
Just naming all the.
Chris Cote
That's all the nuts in the middle.
Juju
You guys named other nuts.
Dan Le Batard
Was that a ranking? Like, these are the ones that are there.
Juju
Calories and total fat.
Jeremy
Look up the corn nut.
Mike Ryan
But fat. I think calories and fat are good for you.
Juju
I mean, I'm just going based off the main.
Mike Ryan
Obviously, it's a moderation game.
Dan Le Batard
Thanks for helping, Jeremy.
Jeremy
Yeah, it's amazing that I haven't broken my teeth on a corn Nut.
Chris Cote
You like corn nuts like that?
Mike Ryan
I used to really like corn. I would, like, eat them in class all the time. It was so loud.
Dan Le Batard
I've never corn nutted.
Jeremy
The ranch.
Mike Ryan
Oh, the flavored ones, dude.
Jeremy
The ranch.
Chris Cote
Ew.
Jeremy
I know. I understand why ill. I get it. Look, I'm not actively eating corn nuts right now. I haven't had a corn in a couple years. Sometimes you're like, man, I could go for a corn.
Mike Ryan
Whereas macadamia nuts right now, to me, it's the opposite. I'm like, I feel like I'm eating a nice buttery piece of chocolate.
Dan Le Batard
I don't know if I've ever had a corn nut.
Mike Ryan
I love it.
Chris Cote
Really?
Jeremy
Aren't you a baseball guy? Yeah. Isn't that, like, one of the baseball snacks?
Juju
Sunflower seeds.
Jeremy
I understand. That's why I'm classifying it as one.
Chris Cote
One of.
Dan Le Batard
I've never seen the.
Juju
I've never seen corn nuts on a baseball field, but maybe it happens.
Jeremy
I kind of. I think it kind of plays. And you don't have to spit this one out. Yeah. Like, it's crunchy. Gives you.
Mike Ryan
Mike Ryan. You have some, like, occasional midwestern tendencies.
Jeremy
Yeah.
Mike Ryan
And I think corn nuts is one of them.
Jeremy
What are my other midwestern tendencies?
Mike Ryan
Rooting for the Browns. Yeah, that's like, those are the only two.
Jeremy
But real city slicker type of view, though, by saying, no, I'm sorry, I can't go on with this.
Mike Ryan
Cornuts.
Jeremy
No. Well, both the Browns and corn nuts.
Chris Cote
Although he might come back to the Browns. Will you go back to.
Jeremy
I'm in a. Look, everyone says this guy's going to be the number one pick, and the Browns are presently slotted at two. But we haven't measured his hands. And I never know. Those hands are small. They're kind of small.
Stugotz
They're small.
Mike Ryan
Well, they were right about. Can you pick it with the hands?
Jeremy
It's a thing. So I know once he goes through the process, you're going to see a whole bunch of his hands are small.
Mike Ryan
I am rooting for Tommy Reese, though. I want him to be successful.
Chris Cote
I asked you this.
Mike Ryan
I want the Browns defense to suck.
Jeremy
Did I deflect enough? I think I did.
Chris Cote
I asked you this question last week. All fair, though, like, given how incredible he was at playing the position. So what if his hands are small? Like, he's not catching? Why? Why is that an issue?
Jeremy
Fumbling, I mean. Yeah. Like, when he was at wazoo, he fumbled once a game. Not fumbles loss, but, like, fumbled the ball and Then I actually like watch the film on like Those fumbles all 22. And his protect, his protection was so bad at Wazoo that he would literally be at the line and he did this a lot in Miami we didn't have like that super fast of a pacey offense. He would really just try to read the defense to the very last second. A lot of the fumbles were just like him doing that, not looking. The snap comes at him and he picks it right up and he goes. But the small hands, it is a thing. He had a couple of like high profile fumbles this season with Miami that you can maybe attribute a bigger hand.
Mike Ryan
Going in the Georgia Tech game. If I recall at the end I. I was drunk. Speaking of, my grandma just texted me. I'm still laughing at him sitting on a pool table. Holy.
Chris Cote
Thursday Thunder.
Dan Le Batard
That's right, it's Thursday thunder.
Jeremy
It's a good song.
Chris Cote
It's a great song.
Dan Le Batard
And it's sponsored by DraftKings. DraftKings the C. Wow. The crown is yours.
Chris Cote
Oh yeah.
Dan Le Batard
Jeremy, what do we got?
Juju
Something I love about the way juju does Thursday Thunder is that he's always picking overs and that makes it more entertaining. So in the Rams at the Eagles he has Dallas Goddard over three and a half receptions. Then Commanders at Lions we have Amon Ra St Brown over six and a half receptions in that game. The Lions are gonna need them.
Jeremy
Yeah, I like that.
Juju
And then finally, and this is to me may be the most controversial, Travis Kelce over five and a half receptions.
Jeremy
I like what juju's head's at because there was a lot of people talking about Travis Kelce last season and then he entered the postseason and he had an all time postseason. So it's another opportunity for Travis Kelce to put some of those criticisms.
Juju
Let that body heal for a week as well.
Jeremy
And you know Patrick Mahomes is going to go to the well.
