B
why are we still talking about Michael Jordan? I told you guys yesterday I don't want to hear about him anymore.
A
We have breaking news.
C
Huge NFL news. And I'm not underselling this. And this actually requires juju. Instant reaction. Big acquisition in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills. The Chicago Bears are presently working to finalize a trade that would send wide receiver D.J. moore to the Bills. Compensation is still being discussed, but Schefter's reporting on this, so this seems like it's gonna happen.
D
Juju, we are back. John. John. Holy moly, brother. Oh my goodness gracious alive. I don't want to overreact right now, but that is big news in the household over here. I can't believe I wore this lion's gear today. What am I doing? Salute to everybody involved. One more. Now we need one more. Justin Jefferson.
B
Tough day to be a Lions backer. Juju, that was just really? Why did you do it on today of all days?
C
Lions?
D
Oh, no, no, no. I love my my Detroit brothers and my Detroit players. That's I'm a key respect on their name. I'm glad I show support to him. I just wish I would have capitalized and wore my Buffalo Bills gear today. Fresh off the plane too, by the way. Perfect timing. Just like Shadow right now. Perfect timing.
C
Ju not to play devil's advocate. Do you think DJ Moore's best years are behind him?
D
I. I do think that. But fortunately for us, you give us best years behind us him Mari Cooper and we make him do what he do. You give us Josh Palmer to go to him. We still almost did big things this year, so I think that he's enough to get us to where we need to be.
B
So do you need Justin Jefferson? Do you need Justin Jefferson?
D
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We need one more like this. This isn't it. Don't get me wrong because my boy injury prone just like the rest of our receivers. So we need something else. But this is a great start.
C
DJ Moore is 28 years old, but Stefon Diggs was 26 when he moved over to Buffalo. Had plenty of good years left in the tank. And while, you know, he had a good quarterback this year in Chicago, he wasn't putting up the same numbers in part because he was a part of that, you know, growing pain experience in Chicago. I think this presents an upgrade.
D
I think, I think if he were still in Chicago next season, he would be the number three there.
C
No, when you include the tight ends.
D
No, no, if you include the tight ends.
C
4.
D
Like Roma Dunes in front of him. And Luther Burden.
C
Yes, I like Luther Burden, but I'm saying DJ Moore, they paid him. You know, he's good. But this is exactly why I think it's a, It's a good move for Buffalo in that. Yeah. Chicago's invested a lot of draft capital and in building out that wide receiver room, they've, they've made some good moves. They put some good weapons around Caleb Williams and it's found DJ Moore in the position where he's expendable, but he can certainly help Buffalo. That is not a great room at all. And I think by going into that room, all of a sudden you feel better about your playing time, your abilities to make plays and to help the quarterback. I think this is. Look. Look at what Brandon Cooks brought to the table for Buffalo. Yeah. At that stage in his career, I think he needs a downfield threat. 28 isn't too old in that sport. I like the move.
D
Right. Imagine Josh Allen with the receiver that isn't the troublesome Stefan Diggs as we see as he bounces from organization to organization. That was Josh Allen's welcome to the NFL wide receiver. So he still hasn't even experienced a high level receiver. That he can just be like, you know what? So and so down there some way somewhere, you dig? He's been so and so somewhere down there to Dawson Knox, to Dalton Kincaid and dare I say we can upgrade that.
C
Yeah.
B
Khalil Shakir as well. Gabe Davis had some big years, juju. He was awesome. I am just a little bit concerned about DJ Moore kind of having a little bit of a tantrum. Not running his routes, completely giving up on that. It feels like he almost pushed his way out based on the way that that last postseason game went. It felt like it was in the cards. No.
D
Yeah. But I'm a brother of second chances. I believe in second chances. Yes. I will not judge that brother by his, his, his worst moment. He could do better in that moment. But you know what? I forgive you, brother. Don't do it again.
A
Juju. Let's do Thursday Thunder.
D
Oh, yes,
A
that's right. It's Thursday Thunder, and I'm gonna push through this. And it's presented by DraftKings. DraftKings. The Crown is yours.
D
Look, that Bills news almost had me forget. We got money to make tonight in the NBA.
C
You dig?
D
First leg, we going with my brother, rookie of the week Dylan Harper, man, over 10.5 points tonight against the Pistons. I think they gonna handle them boys, too. Neither here nor there. Second leg, here and there. I'm taking the spurs money line. You got to know, man, Cade Cunningham can't do it by itself. They let the man down by not having anything to say for the trade.
C
Huh? Who?
B
Kate who?
D
Cunningham, Trista. Leave that for dls hoops. But we got. We got the spurs money line. We taking them for sure tonight. Third leg, I'm going with Jaden Mac Daniels. I'm going with him over 13.5 points tonight against the Raptors. They need him lately. He been stepping up lately. Are the Timberwolves a threat in the West? Find out. Same bad time, same bad channel. Tonight and last leg, I'm going with the Denver Nuggets money line against the Lakers. The Lakers stink with a capital H after the S between the T. Go with the Joker tonight. I know I am
C
stink.
B
Is that in the dictionary? Stink?
D
Yeah, it's in there right next to Boy Stop, which you can find on DLS Hoops at the Alley Oop. Lock in right now on YouTube, man, as well. A little personal plug Tuesday. New music coming from the kid. Come on, you got to know. Check us out, man. And a little hint. It's about my favorite establishment in Atlanta. It is.
C
Hey, the aquarium, but yeah, the varsity.
D
There we go. But let's get to some of these polls, man. Y' all had a great.
C
What rhymes with whale? Sharks?
D
Zaz, who you supposed to be again today, brother? Yo, obviously Pitbull Dale. Oh, yeah. You got more than Vin Diesel going on to me because you got. You buff, you. You know, I mean, you look the part, bro. Have you ever dialed a telephone number that ends in four zeros? 87% of the audience says, no, they have not. Are you surprised that BYU is paying AJ the best to $7 million for one season of basketball? 59% of the audience says, yes, they are surprised, but getting a Bank roll. Is Concordnipple the best name in basketball right now? 67% of the audience says, yes, it is.
C
I don't know. I don't even know if he's got the best name on his own team. Moussa Diabate Moose.
D
But nipple, right? Salute to moose and salute to Domino and everybody. For 305. I've been. I really wanted to be a part of that, but I had to rush back because I got a special edition alley oop interview today. Holy Mo will be dropping tomorrow. I got, actually one of my homegirls. I'm in the streets. I'm showing my hand at journalism. One of my homegirls work at Magic City. So I'm gonna ask her what she think about all of this, her opinions, how she feel. Is this the case? We gonna get into all of that on DLS, hoops on YouTube, man. Like I said, man. But last poll is con canipple the best name in NBA history. 70, 72% of the audience says, no, it is not. And those are your thanks, Juju. Thank you.
C
Thanks, Julie.
