the first pick of last year's draft, Zachary Recesse, had 15 points over the last week. The 55th pick of last year's draft, Bronnie James, had 21 points last week. Back to you guys.
Al Michaels
Boy, that's a low bar,
Sports Analyst
But good way to compare. Get a little brownie in there.
Al Michaels
Juju, how you doing today? Good to see you.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Pretty good, man. Good to see y' all as well, man. Great show.
Al Michaels
How you feeling? I know we brought it up to you for a moment yesterday right after we got the news, but you're an Atlanta guy, you're there. How excited is everybody for Angel Reese?
Juju Smith-Schuster
Man, ticket prices are through the roof. Excitement is around. A lot of my homeboys from the hood who never talk about basketball, no sports, nothing they like, Bro, I gotta come with you to the. The dream game this year. You got my baby on the team, that type of stuff, she got the whole city excited, man. But in my opinion, I was this excited last year when we landed Brittney Griner, so I think now it's just time to get to work. Yes, it's amazing to have her in the city, but it's time to get to work and actually get some. Some compet with the likes of Minnesota, the likes of New York, because those powerhouses are still there.
Al Michaels
Now, you obviously saw earlier today, Shams Charania dropped a. I don't know that I call it a bombshell, but. But a story. A story. Giannis, and just detailing what a dysfunctional year it's been for him in Milwaukee. And obviously, you know, you've seen that. Part of what apparently Giannis is upset about right now, juju, is the Bucks aren't letting him back on the court. You. He wants to play with his brothers. All right, that's The Nasus and Alex. So you have a top 10 for us here today, right?
Juju Smith-Schuster
Yes, sir, man. I also think with that Giannis. Come on, brother. The Bucks done bend over backwards to try to make you happy. You got all the answer Kumpos Juniors on the team, man. Come on. But yes, it made me think of a top 10 brothers of the NBA history list.
Al Michaels
All right, all right.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Oli, man, I gotta name these brothers. It's a two for Oli because it's always gonna be running these brothers somewhere. The Zellers and the Plumlies, just great guys, man. Number 10. This is tough, but I'm gonna go Brooke and Robin Lopez.
Sports Analyst
No, no bonus for being twins.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Exactly. I like that as well. But him playing with the mascots is always great for the kids. And it's just like salute. Number nine, LaMelo and Lonzo Ball. They made a lot of noise and so I don't know any other brothers that made that much noise that fast in the league. Salute. Number eight. Am I on Drew, Justin and the other holiday, Aaron.
Al Michaels
That's a good one.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Hell yeah. NBA champion in that mix as well, you dig? Number seven. Come on, man. Miami, stand up. Zoron and Goron. Come on, man. Gotta love those brothers. Number five or number six, Dominique and Gerald Wilkins.
Al Michaels
Oh, yes.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Dunk on your head top right now. Number five. Tis the season, man. Heinz and Mog Wagner. Franz and Mo Wagner. They had a big night last night, celebrating. They gonna get it together on the magic. But salute to my boys. Number four. Come on, man. Jeff and Mook. Marcus Teague. NBA champion, man. Love those brothers. And NCAA champion for sure. I never know whether to talk back to you guys in these situations.
Co-Host
I was gonna get it and say when you said Jeff there, I thought Jeff and Stan Van Gundy, I thought that's where you're headed.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Oh, I miss my boys. I missed out on my boys. He number three.
Sports Analyst
He stepped back on it because we're like, you may actually be spoiling the number one for juju.
Co-Host
So I got scared.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Okay, Number three, Horace and Harvey Grant, man.
Al Michaels
That's right.
Sports Analyst
Harvey Grant twins.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Number two, Pow and Mark Gasol.
Al Michaels
Legends traded for each other, too.
Juju Smith-Schuster
And the number one duo of all time, man. Brothers, one side is doing a lot more work than the other with this being number one, but Seth and Steph Curry.
Sports Analyst
Seth Curry was a good spot up shooter for a couple of different franchises, so you know he's got a little bit of weight there.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Absolutely, man.
Al Michaels
Good job, juju. All right, well, since we're talking NBA Here, I think I got something for you.
Juju Smith-Schuster
The be of the day,
Al Michaels
great game last night took place in a town the Hawks did come up short. The knicks were a 108, 105 winner at the Atlanta Hawks. The rare loss these days for the Hawks. They never lose. Except last night they lost. The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson. If we're gonna have a conversation about MVP, Jalen Brunson had 30 points and 13 assists making all the clutch plays last night. All I'm saying is if we're going to talk about MVP, we better start mentioning Jalen Brunson.
Sports Analyst
That's the first appearance for Jalen Brunson. Joining other one time appearances by Aaron Gordon, Jaime Hawkez Jr. Norman Powell, Stefan Castle, Donovan Mitchell, Anthony Edwards and of course, Sally Antutas.
Al Michaels
Awesome. That's how it's done, son.
Juju Smith-Schuster
That thing hit every time, bruh.
Al Michaels
Juju, you got some polls for us today. What do you got?
Juju Smith-Schuster
You yes, sir. With Mike Jordan have been better than Michael.
Co-Host
It's big.
Juju Smith-Schuster
85% of the audience says no, he would not have and last poll are mascots unhappy people. 59% of the audience says yes. And those are your post.
Al Michaels
Surprised? All right, Good job, juju.
Juju Smith-Schuster
Thank you, Al.
Co-Host
Now, with those salaries, I wouldn't be upset, man. I'd be really happy.
Sports Analyst
They all make more than usual.
