Between them, John Kinsel and Dusty Turner lost 59 years. John went in on a child's testimony that the child herself recanted under oath in open court ...and still sat in that Louisiana prison for 19 more years while the system looked the other way. Dusty went in because his swim buddy committed a murder, blamed him for it, and then confessed on tape in 2002. A judge declared Dusty innocent in 2008. The state appealed two days later. Tonight, for the first time, Dr. Phil talks directly to John... the prison never allowed it before. And he follows up with Dusty, who walked out in March and was back behind bars six weeks later on a parole violation he says was an honest mistake. These two men missed 9/11, iPhones, social media, streaming ...nearly everything that defines modern life. What they're finding out now is that surviving the system was only half the battle. Jason Flom is back, too because this fight doesn't end at the prison gate. This episode is brought to you by; The You Can Do It Foundation supports meaningful media that reflects faith, family, personal responsibility, and freedom. Dr. Phil and Jason Flom have been talking about wrongful convictions for years. Tonight they look at where things stand because some of these cases have moved, and not all of them in the right direction. Richard Glossip spent 27 years on death row and finally walked out. Tiana Broadnax joins from London. She met James as a law student researching capital punishment, married him through glass with 16 days to go, and watched Texas execute him on April 30th, 2026... while DNA evidence pointed elsewhere and a co-defendant's confession sat unread. She says the fight isn't over. Tonight, you'll believe her. This episode is brought to you by TempraMed: If you or someone you know is taking at-home injections for insulin, GLP-1s, or any other medication requiring a self-injection — this is something you need to know. The New York Times just printed a claim that Israeli prison guards trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners. The byline read that Nicholas Kristof was "reporting." As in: these are facts. They aren't. No evidence. No credible sources. Just allegations from a Hamas-linked organization and a George Soros-funded group with a documented history of false claims against Israel. Now Prime Minister Netanyahu is suing the Times for libel. The American Jewish Committee calls it modern blood libel. And one Palestinian writer says even Kristof's own sources can't be trusted. This is what antisemitism looks like in 2026. Thank you to our sponsor: Get up to $20,000 in FREE Gold & Silver with a qualified purchase. After first making national headlines for exposing alleged secret gender-transition procedures on minors at Texas Children’s Hospital, whistleblower Dr. Eithan Haim is sitting down with Dr. Phil McGraw to discuss the hospital’s stunning new reversal. Texas Children’s Hospital has now agreed to a major settlement with the state of Texas, reportedly paying $10 million and moving forward with plans to open what is being described as the nation’s first pediatric de-transition clinic. The move comes after years of controversy, political scrutiny, legal battles, and growing national debate over gender-related medical care for minors. Dr. Haim discusses why he says he risked everything to speak out, the fallout he faced after becoming a public whistleblower, and what he believes this latest development means for families, doctors, and the future of pediatric gender medicine. This episode is brought to you by: Get up to $20,000 in FREE Gold & Silver with a qualified purchase. Dr. Phil sits down with Jim Griffin, attorney for disgraced South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh, after a shocking court decision overturned Murdaugh’s double murder conviction in the killings of his wife Maggie and son Paul. The South Carolina Supreme Court ruled Murdaugh did not receive a fair trial, citing improper jury influence and misconduct involving former court clerk Becky Hill — a dramatic development that has reignited national debate over one of America’s most notorious murder cases. Now, Griffin joins Dr. Phil to break down the stunning reversal, the allegations of jury tampering, and why the defense believes the original verdict was deeply flawed. Dr. Phil presses Griffin on the evidence against Murdaugh, the public outrage surrounding the case, and what comes next as prosecutors prepare for a possible retrial. Could Alex Murdaugh really get another chance in court? And after everything the public has heard, is a fair trial even possible anymore? This episode is brought to you by TempraMed: Dr. Phil uncovers the hidden dangers tied to today’s explosion of at-home injections — from insulin and GLP-1s to life-saving emergency medications. She built the business. Now she’s fighting to stop it from taking over her life. Jillian is one of only five female master plumbers in Texas, a working master plumber, business owner, wife, and mother who grew her plumbing company from a single-desk operation into a multi-truck, full-service business. Gas, sewer, water, emergencies, her team can handle it all. But growth came with a cost. Missed calls. Delayed responses. Too many tabs open. Too many fires to put out. Customers were slipping through the cracks, and the pressure was following her home. The truth? Jillian didn’t have a demand problem, she had a systems problem. And like so many small business owners, the more successful the company became, the more trapped she felt inside it. In this episode of Dr. Phil’s Small Business Playbook, Dr. Phil helps Jillian move from reactive manager to strategic operator, showing how speed-to-response, centralized communication, AI tools, smart scheduling, and better boundaries can help a small business scale without burning out the person who built it. If you’re a contractor, plumber, entrepreneur, service-based business owner, or side hustler trying to grow without losing your life in the process, this episode is for you.Learn how to build a business that serves your life, not one that consumes it.Sponsored by HighLevel: If you own a small business, don’t skip this. The conversation continues. In part two, Dr. Phil goes deeper with Roblox survivor Michael aka “Schlep”... who says he was groomed on Roblox as a child by a platform-promoted developer, his attorney Steven Vanderporten, and trial attorney Mark Lanier, who last week won a landmark $6 million verdict after a Los Angeles jury found Meta and YouTube liable for allegedly engineering their platforms to addict children. According to the jury's findings, the companies acted with malice, fraud, and oppression. Today the question gets answered: was this an accident or was it by design? According to internal documents introduced at trial, Meta executives were aware their platforms were allegedly harming children and continued operating anyway. Dr. Phil breaks down what parents need to know right now and what they need to do tonight before their child logs on again.Sponsored by: Dr. Phil uncovers the hidden dangers tied to today’s explosion of at-home injections — from insulin and GLP-1s to life-saving emergency medications. He was eight years old the first time he logged onto Roblox. He was fifteen when his mother called the platform to ask why her son was in the hospital. They say the company sent her a copy-paste email with a suicide hotline number. Nothing else. Now 22, Michael ... known online as "Schlep” ... says he was groomed on Roblox as a child by a developer the platform promoted and profited from. He says he spent two years running sting operations on the platform that hurt him, getting six predators arrested and protecting children across the country. Michael says the social media’s response was to ban him, sent a cease-and-desist, and accused him of acting like a predator himself. Dr. Phil sits down with Michael and his attorney Steven Vanderporten ...who represents over 3000+ survivors who say they were exploited on on this platform, alongside Mark Lanier, the trial attorney who recently made history when a Los Angeles jury found Meta and YouTube liable for deliberately designing their platforms to addict children, with malice, fraud, and oppression. With over 100 federal Roblox cases now consolidated in court and 2,300 more pending against Meta, the question is no longer whether these platforms are dangerous. A jury already answered that. The question now is: what are you going to do about it?Contact your representatives: https://protectkidsnotplatforms.org/https://www.lanierlawfirm.com/https://www.lanierlawfirm.com/product-liability/social-media-addiction-lawsuit/https://www.lanierlawfirm.com/product-liability/roblox-lawsuit-lawyer/This episode is brought to you by: Get up to $20,000 in FREE Gold & Silver with a qualified purchase.
