Dr. Ted explains why there hasn't been a Podcast in over a year, and speculates about his Podcasting future. He tries to keep things upbeat but fails miserably.

Just in time for Halloween, Shayne and I discuss the intersections between Horror and Sci-Fi and the common origins of the two sub-genres. We talk about both fictional and real-life boogeymen, including the incredibly terrifying Curse of the Technical Difficulties that caused us to lose 30 minutes worth of Podcast.

Shayne and I discuss fan expectations in movies and video games. What obligations do creators have to their fans/customers, and conversely, when do fan expectations become unreasonable? Dr. Ted also reviews the creative and bizarre anti-adventure game Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor (SundaeMonth).

Ted goes on a rambly rant-o-thon today, throwing caution (and the script) to the wind. In the absence of any sort of preparation, good sense, or editing, he revisits No Man's Sky (Hello Games) and discusses the recent discovery of an Earth-like planet orbiting Proxima Centauri.

Shayne is back once again to give a post-mortem on the summer blockbusters and not-so-blockbusters. In video games, I rant about Pokemon Go (Niantic) and review the much-anticipated No Man's Sky (Hello Games). And we say our farewells to, and reminisce about, The Tragically Hip and their final performance in Kingston, Ontario.

In today's episode, I welcome Shayne Kempton back on the program to talk about good and bad comic book movies. We discuss what went wrong with Batman vs. Superman, and get excited about the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. We also discuss the toxicity of certain internet denizens directed at a certain upcoming movie with an all-woman main cast, and Shayne has a favour to ask.

In today's episode, I welcome our new robot overlords and talk with Mike Vertolli (http://www.theworldmatrix.ca) about Automation, the Future of Employment, and Basic Income.

In today's episode, I interview local film reviewer Shayne Kempton. We talk about the Oscars, diversity in film, and Shayne's top picks for the best films of 2015, aka The Shaynie Awards. Check out Shayne's blog, The Ottawa Edge at http://ottawaedge.wordpress.com.

Gorkem Guduk returns for a post-Force Awakens discussion, and we talk about some of the games, movies, and TV shows that we've been enjoying lately.

It's the first episode of 2016! Dr. Ted talks about Tabletop Simulator, Nidhogg, vacuum airships, and the end of the universe, and rants about music streaming and bad driving habits in movies.
