I did a couple years ago, I remember going to, like, I don't know, I got invited to somebody's barbecue at, like, a park, and we're all, like, sitting by the water, ready to watch the fireworks. And, like, right next to me, there was, like, a family. And I look at them, and I see that they're all wearing Trump shirts, even the kids. I was like, what the.

A couple years ago, I think. First term. It was first term. But I just remember being like, oh. And it makes me. You know what? I feel really weird when. When, like, the kids have it on, I'm like, leave them alone.

Like, I would never put anybody, like, any president of my kid. I just. I don't know. I just. I think it's a little much, but.

So, ladies and gentlemen, if the holiday weekend is almost here, Ebro is gone. But we're going to hear from him, I think, momentarily, because I think he's going to clear up the stuff that was said yesterday on the show. We got some headlines because Ebro goes off. Ebro Go. You know, they love that headline. Ebro goes off on 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, ja Rule, and Timbaland. And Timbaland for appearing at Donald Trump Jr's Maga Club. Yeah, I think Ebro got some clarity, by the way. I will say it was a notch. Those places are so thirsty. It was a. Not short of. Goes off. He was. I think it's whack. I think it's whack that you would do that.

But it was unclear over our text, kind of exactly what level of clarity. Louis, were you able. Did you glean from what he was saying, what actually info he got?

Well, I guess when it comes to, like, Busta Rhymes. Right. And I guess he talked to some of his people or people around the circle in which they said that he had never performed there, you know, other than the headline that was from the Daily Beast, which said that he had performed there before.

Right.

Because people. But this is. This is how. You know how people don't even read. They just go by the headline. Right. Because I saw so many blogs and reporting that 50 Busta Devlin and Ja Rule were going to be performing together.

Oh, see that. And that was what Ebro said made him start questioning it when he saw 50 and Ja Rule.

Because when we talked about it yesterday, I said, I mentioned those names, but I saw that they had already performed.

And that's why I said, you know, they've performed there in the past. And listen, it's a private club. I don't know, maybe they did, maybe they didn't. But the Daily Beast was reporting it. Right? So, yeah, we're gonna check in with. Because obviously whoever was watching our show clipped it right away and it moved all over the place. But he got some clarity, so we'll talk to him about it.

So, yeah, Ebro will hopefully give us some information when he goes through security. Security.

I knew Laura was going to say security. I said security. However, there are other things happening in the world. Birthright citizenship is still on.

They were not able to. They were not able to kill that Donald Trump. Not happy about it. The Supreme Court upholding birthright citizenship. Not shocking. The Trumpster, not thrilled. Number 19, Bascom, if you have it. Donald Trump responded on his FACA app that nobody has that then gets taken and people repost it. But he did go on. I don't even like calling it what he calls it, because, let's be honest, it's not truth.

The Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship, which is too bad for our country, but we can easily make it up in Congress through legislation with the support of the president. That has now been determined during this process. What are you talking about? That's now been determined during the process.

This has been a sticking point for me, but go.

Okay, we'll finish. No long and unwieldy constitutional amendment is necessary. Congress should start today to work on ending expensive and unfair to our country birthright citizenship. They will have my complete and total support. President Donald J. Trump. What's your sticking point, Lloyd?

Well, I think my sticking point is everybody's reacting as if this birthright citizenship thing is new, right? As if we haven't had this for

years, forever, for a long, long time.

But everybody's reacting is like, oh, this country is over. We can't do this now. We're going to have all these babies. Have we had this problem for the

past 20, 30 years that they keep going. They keep going back to that. That's been a conversation they keep repeating, is how Bad immigration was during Biden. And I. I do not know of that to be true. I think it's one of the reasons that they use Minnesota so often.

Is because the Somali immigrants, like, culturally, oftentimes keep their culture. So you can show these images of people wearing their cultural garb and all those things.

And they can scare people like, they're losing. Look at Minnesota.

Yes, yes. But have you noticed, like, every time you hear a Fox News host go off, they're like, they don't assimilate.

And you're right. That is always in there.

They don't assimilate. And it just reminds me of, like, the conversations I've had with other people. Like, I've had friends that, like, lived in Texas or from certain parts of Texas, specifically border towns, who explained to me, like, hey, a lot of, like, MAGA Latinos, like, they completely disregard their culture. They're just like, no, I'm American now. And that's what they want. They want you to forget, you know, who you are and just turn into this, like, patriot.

Well, I got news for you folks. My Israeli family, they. They ain't assimilating. I mean, listen, on July 4th, they throw a great. They use lots of red, white, and blue decoration in the barbecue. But that food that comes out is all Israeli and all their cultural food and the language that being spoken is all their home. What are you expecting people to do? Assimilating should mean participating, whether that, you know, if you're able to vote and do things like that, it should mean participating however you can, paying your taxes. That is it.

I mean, as best as you can communicate with everybody else. Sure. Give it your best shot. What do you mean? No, you want them to take off what they wear. You want them to not recognize where they're from, not speak their own language. You know, just because we're dumb and can't speak other languages doesn't mean other people can't come here, speak their native language, and speak the language here.

I think we're the only country where they try to make it look like a bad thing when you speak multiple languages.

Well, this is real time.

I need to read the opinion. Okay. But obviously that's, I mean, you could say that's a textualist, originalist view. However, I do think that this has been grossly abused in recent years. Okay. And that is the case that was being made by the plaintiffs in the case.

Has it been grossly abused?

We are very sympathetic to that because it is a serious problem we have. We have, you know, it's become a tourism, birthing tourism. They call it, you know, a trend where people will just come and you just come onto the soil and have your child and then they're, they're able to avail themselves of the welfare state and everything else. It's, it's been abused. It's one of those things that was intended to serve a noble, important purpose and has been thwarted and, and overused and abused. And so I'm sure that we'll continue to look at that. I mean, they, I'm sure the conclusion from this opinion is going to be that you got to have a, you got to amend the Constitution to fix that. As we all know, it's a, it's a big challenge to amend the Constitution. It's only happened 27 times in our whole nation's history. And the reason is because you got to have two thirds of the both chambers of Congress and 3/4 of the states to ratify. It's usually, you know, at least a many years long process and very complicated, but we'll see. I'm sure there's going to be lots of discussion about. I'm very disappointed in that outcome. I think it's.

I don't believe it's been abused. There has long time been a thing where people would. Yes. Do people come here specifically to have a baby? Potentially if they live in a place where they feel like giving their child the citizenship here would be really beneficial. And yes, that is a thing that happens. Being widely abused is just a lie and misrepresentation being based in xenophobia, as everything is with this administration.

I very often, you know, nothing, Nothing surprises me anymore from this administration. But I could easily see us moving into, like, forcing women to get pregnancy tests before coming here. I can see that.

Oh, don't put that in the universe, because it does sound very.

Yeah. Because remember, Louis, you sent me that clip where they were like, we're going to. We're going to pay close attention to what does that mean to women that are traveling here and if they're pregnant.

This is. This is not, not surprising. But hey, let's. Let's not focus on the worst part of it. Let's focus on the positive moments when the Supreme Court actually does what it's supposed to do and uphold stuff, because it is. I believe I've said this many times that I do think the Constitution is managing to hang on. Not all the way, but at least it's staying strong in certain spots. That would have been a bad one. I mean, and they'll keep fighting it and they'll keep coming. But again, we see all kinds of headlines about what the Trump administration is trying to do. We don't always see as many headlines about how they fail and come up short.

A new parasite that causes explosive diarrhea has now infected more than 100 people in 17 different states, according to the Centers for Disease Control. The parasite's name is Cyclospora chaetinesis, and I may very well be butchering it. It has not caused any deaths, but it has caused a lot of stomach problems for a lot of people. The CDC has confirmed over 100 infections across 17 different states across America, with New York having the most infections. And according to the Independent, there are no deaths. And it's not really clear exactly what caused this, as people have been infected from May 1st all the way through mid June, and likely more infections coming soon from this parasite. Now, there is no general threat in terms of deaths to the American public, but it is a nasty stomach bug, if you get it, so just be aware. Symptoms can start about a week after being infected or contracting with the parasite. Officials believe it could be related to some food issues. We'll see what happens. And when he's outside, he's skittish and worried and always watching his back. And after we had this incident a couple years ago, he was fine in the immediate, but now that he's getting older, it's like the trauma is kicking in. Fortunately, the other day when I saw this guy, he saw me and he saw me kind of like look and he gave me a little wave and crossed the street. I truly appreciate that because for me, I can't even rush to get him away. Well, sorry, because those clips mostly sucked and didn't exist. They were few and far between. But I appreciated them. Really happy for you guys in the new show. Anyways, here's my situation. I've been with my girlfriend of almost three years. She's truly amazing. Monogamous relationship. I most definitely see us getting married and having kids and recently moved in together. We are happy, we fight sometimes, but I truly believe our dynamic is healthy and we handle conflict issues well. Honestly though, I made a big mistake and I've been struggling with it for a while now now. About a year ago at a previous job, a co worker of mine and I caught a romantic vibe and at one point even ended up kissing.

It never went past that. I went back to my relationship and I don't communicate with this person at all. They aren't in my life. However, the guilt from this still bothers me deeply from time to time. I know it'd be catastrophic to the relationship and to my partner to tell her at this point, and I'd likely only be doing it for the sake of transparency and to relieve guilt. But man, we have this life together and it feels kind of crazy to traumatize her over something so small that happened over a year ago. I don't wish to remove her autonomy or choice, but it seems crazy to traumatize her and blow it all up. We get it. You don't want to do it. The only reason I'm bringing this up is because I had a friend with whom we recently had a falling out over a separate issue and one of their final messages brought up that I cheated as a condemnation slash definition of my character. I do not believe I'm a bad person or that I'm defined by my lowest moment. I haven't had any slip up since then and I never will again. I wish it never happened, but it did. Gurus. How can I proceed? Is the only right way to tell her? Or can I just be a better man? Partner doing moving forward. Thanks so much in advance.

But when he said, damn, where'd it go? I just lost the email. But when he said that they lost a friend or whatever. Laura. Did he mean that that person said it? He didn't say it to both of them. He said the friend said it to him. Like, oh, you're a cheater too, right? Do you think it scared him? Like, oh, ish. There's someone out there who we're no longer friends with who considers me a cheater because they know that I kissed this person.

Yes, because he was ready to just. Just keep it locked away forever. He was never gonna tell. Now that he's being threatened with that possibility of somebody else exposing him, now it's bothering him.

So he's. I don't think he's actually felt guilty about it now. He's just worried that somebody else is gonna blow up the spot.

So. All right, I want to give a conclusion.

So here, here's the. Here's the issue. You take a major risk by telling her. You do, but you also have some level of risk by not telling.

Now, if they were married and you did something stupid like that, I would probably say you have to tell, like, because I don't think you would want your entire marriage to be like, under false pretenses of like, we took vows and I effed it to me. That's such a secret at that point that I might say, you need to say something. Now. I would argue also, let me say this. If this is not a pattern, if this is literally a one time thing, you don't flirt with this happening at other times. You're not texting with people, you're not flirting to the point of where it could happen. But this one crossed the line. If this was literally, there was one person, you ended up like, oh, my God, are we like, kind of like flirting and then something happened and then it was done? And you're like, if you truly believe it was one and done. Laura, I kind of Tend to go towards bury it and move on with your life and never ever consider doing it again.

But what, okay, so now you put yourself in the position of possibly getting blown up by somebody else.

And that is going to be so much worse because there's that layer of humiliation that's also going to be there. Partner.

That some people can never shake that off.

Correct. However, depending on what the person's like, if you come up to your partner and out of the blue tell them, there's a chance that'll also happen.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because she, she's gonna be like, wow, you lied to me and all this. And what she's gonna ask what made you tell me now? And what are you gonna say? Make up another lie?

Well, he did say that the guilt has been a problem. You're choosing to say it's just because the friend said that. And that may be part of it, but my guess is he's legitimately felt guiltless.

Yeah, yeah, of course. I don't doubt that.

So you could say I've been wrestling with this and like, I knew it was a one time thing, so I thought maybe I could bury it, but I thought, no, I just want. Here's the hard.

No. He said she's completely out of his life. Like, she doesn't see it. He doesn't see her.

Yeah, yeah, I know that's a problem when you do dumb things at work and then you're waiting for the person to not work there anymore.
