Ebro Darden
Just don't call it a podcast. The Ebro Laura Rosenberg show. Let's go, let's go. Ebro Laura Rosenberg show, Show, show, show. Listen, Laura, back, we got LeBron James talk. We got Ryan Clark, Nolan Wells update. Hunter Biden doing more talking.
Rahsaan
Hunter.
Laura Rosenberg
Hunter's really outside.
Ebro Darden
He's moving around. And then for it this weekend was mired with a lot of Trump. Was that on your algo, Laura?
Louis
Yeah, unfortunately, it was fortunate. No, I said unfortunately.
Ebro Darden
I was like, wow, Unfortunately. So it was. What was it? What was the correspondence?
Laura Rosenberg
Well, it was the makeup. White House correspondent.
Ebro Darden
So this was the make good from the last shooting thing.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. That no one even remembered. Remember when, like, there was another assassination attempt and it's like no one even remembers that it happened.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. Because everybody was like, is this really real?
Laura Rosenberg
Right, it's that. That's the makeup from that.
Ebro Darden
Got it. So Trump's there Friday night. So we got to get into a lot of that stuff this week from this weekend. What else should we be focused on from this weekend other than the Trump of it all?
Louis
Well, in the rundown, we'll discuss the verses.
Ebro Darden
All right.
Louis
Big west coast verses.
Ebro Darden
Yes.
Louis
It was front and center.
Laura Rosenberg
So that almost didn't happen. It felt like it almost didn't happen.
Ebro Darden
I mean, that's what the news said.
Louis
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I, I got a media. I got the scoop on what happened to yg, and then, yo, this Chris Brown story is kind of crazy.
Ebro Darden
Well, this is an old story. The Chris Brown story.
Louis
Yeah. But, like, he was recently in court. And I'll give you the scoop and the rundown, but he could possibly go to jail.
Ebro Darden
Did you see any other outlet other than World Star report on that? Cause I know Rashawn sent it over from worldstar.
Laura Rosenberg
You're already dubious.
Ebro Darden
And I was already like, wait, Chris Brown might miss half of his tour. That was the head.
Ibrahim
I saw it last.
Ebro Darden
And I was like, I don't know if that's valid.
Louis
No, I saw. I saw a lot of outlets reporting on it because he was in court. So it was a real thing. But we'll talk about it later on.
Ebro Darden
Let's, let's go to clip seven. This is Wolf Blitzer giving a. A cor. What are these awards called?
Laura Rosenberg
I guess they have some awards at the correspondence dinner. And this was a journalism award that was given at the White House correspondence dinner.
Theo Von
Okay.
Rahsaan
This year's award goes to the Wall Street Journal. The Journal's courageous reporting on President Trump's past relationship with financier Jeffrey Epstein. Triggered the release of the so called Epstein files, thousands of documents that might otherwise have remained hidden from the public.
Laura Rosenberg
Keep that in mind.
Rahsaan
Despite the president's threat of a lawsuit, the Journal published a story about a provocative letter to Epstein bearing President Trump's signature. Trump quickly filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the Journal, revealing reporter Khadija Safdar's home address. Her family had to be relocated. The Journal was kicked off of Air Force One. But the reporters continue to file revelatory stories. Please welcome the winners of the Katherine Graham award from the Wall Street Journal. Khadija Safdar, Sadie German, Annie Linsky, Josh Dawson again, Alex Leary, Rebecca.
Ebro Darden
It cuts off, but Trump actually stood up and starts shaking all the journalist hands.
Louis
I didn't see that part.
Laura Rosenberg
That's crazy.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, I saw a video of that. Now, could it be AI I guess it could have, but Rahsaan says he's getting it now. But nonetheless, now, Rosenberg, do you believe that this now reported Donald Trump goes on mental health social media rants has anything to do with him being embarrassed like this at the White House correspondence?
Laura Rosenberg
Well, that. I don't even know if that's the most embarrassing. That part probably wasn't the embarrassing part for Trump. Trump, him being called those things in front of people. While it's awkward and impressive of Wolf to like, you know, and these reporters to all be there, I don't think that really embarrasses him. It's all stuff he knows. What was embarrassing is he spoke for over an hour and was cracking jokes and just, I mean, bombing bro. And remember, this isn't a room full of his sycophants. Yes, some of them, you have your handful of losers there, but most of the people are just people who work at news organizations.
Louis
Right.
Laura Rosenberg
So he's trying to drop these jokes, these awkward going after Kaitlan Collins and comparing her to Dylan Mulvaney.
Ebro Darden
I don't know who Dylan.
Laura Rosenberg
Dylan Mulvaney was the trans person they put on the Bud Light. They did in the Bud Light ad with.
Louis
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
Laura Rosenberg
Yo, bro. No, you would shake your head because you don't remember that story because it was three, four years ago.
Ebro Darden
I remember Bud Light being an issue with Maggie, but I didn't really understand
Laura Rosenberg
why it might have been. Trump won. He's that old and he's talking about the TR like and comparing Kaitlan Collins. And the joke is just Katelyn Collins is sitting there just showing the side of her head. No one's laughing. So I think that was the bigger embarrassment. Is he Bombed.
Ebro Darden
He bombed. Now, Rahsaan, which clip do you have? Ready? Shake.
Myron Gaines
Oh, here it is.
Rahsaan
Sadie German, Annie Linsky, Josh Dawsey again, Alex Leary, Rebecca Ballhaus and Ryan Barber. Their colleague Joe Palazzolo could not attend tonight.
Louis
Look at her face. Look at her face.
Laura Rosenberg
You talk about a tough spot.
Ebro Darden
What would you. What would your. What would you do there?
Louis
My stank face would be on like, the first lady.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, I think that guy. That guy was good. They're fine. That guy's fine.
Ebro Darden
Goofy. Acting like a goofy. So after. After this and them. And them just sitting up there smiling, remind you they're talking about the Epstein files. Okay. Which has effectively become some sort of, like, joke to. Clearly to them, they don't take it. There's a. Like, what are we doing? Do we know what's in the Epstein files? Or do. Are we. Do we remember that this is about underage girls being sexually trafficked and abused? Yeah, it's about rape of underage girls.
Louis
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
He's up there shrugging his shoulders, laughing. The audience is applauding. He's shaking hands. People are laughing. So effectively, they have made this such a circus that they can go up in front of the world and joke about it. Now, we know he has no shame, Right. So he can't. You can't embarrass somebody who has no shame. No, you can't do it.
Ibrahim
It's.
Ebro Darden
They have no shame, so they don't care. But I just wanted to kind of reiterate the kind of backdrop of what we just saw, because we're acting like that was just some journalism award and they had some negative stuff to say about Trump. No, they forced those journalists, forced the release of the Epstein files that we have all seen so far, what we've seen. And he was so upset about it that he sued the Wall street journal for $20 billion, which didn't go anywhere. But nonetheless, we're forgetting the backdrop.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, and they included. And ended up outing a victim. Was it outing a victim's address?
Ebro Darden
Yes.
Louis
Yes.
Ebro Darden
No, he did.
Laura Rosenberg
No, I'm saying he did.
Ebro Darden
No, no. The first lady that shook his head, that was her. Not a victim, a journalist. Her family had to move.
Louis
That's a relocate.
Ebro Darden
Because he and his cronies doxed her.
Laura Rosenberg
That was the First Lady.
Ebro Darden
The first lady that shook the hand that walked over and kind of had to stank face and still shook his hand. At least that's what I've read on the Internet.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
But no, I don't think I'm embarrassed. I mean, that's not the embarrassing part.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, I just wanted us to remember what we're actually looking at. Yeah, right. Because we've get. We get so inundated with things that I think we forget how disgusting we are currently. Well, if you know what I'm saying. Like, that's talking about it.
Louis
People just don't think past the headline anymore. It's normal. It's dismissed as like, oh, yeah, Epstein files. They forget how deep and dark and cruel and disgusting it is.
Ebro Darden
I'll take you somewhere else, Laura. We're sitting here talking about it right now. That's all we can do is talk about it. We can't do anything else. There's no one doing anything.
Laura Rosenberg
And one of the things they talked about, those writers found, was the proof that Trump. Like the Trump letter to him.
Nick Fuentes
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
Which was really damning. I mean, that Trump Wolf just talked
Ebro Darden
about it in the presentation of the award.
Laura Rosenberg
I know, but like that, that's a really. That's the part with his signature. That's the part that really connects them and shows that they were good, good friends. Not just like acquaintances who knew each other a little bit.
Ebro Darden
When he tries to act like, yeah, but then I'd stop being his friend. But not during the prime era, of course.
Louis
And mind you, this is the party who's always pointing the fingers at perverts and everyone's a pedophile. Like, that's why they target the LGBTQ community. That's why they come for authors. Everything is sexualization of this. They're coming after the kids that.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, I mean, what about exactly what's happening? What about Comet Pizza in Washington? They made up a whole pizza gate and put Hillary Clinton as, like, the face of sexual predators. And again, like Eber always says, it's every, every accusation is an admission. That whole thing about the Clintons, I'm not. I mean, listen, Bill Clinton obviously had his own things. Hillary Clinton being the face of child trafficking and they were showing up at the pizza place putting people in danger. It was a made up, crazed Internet conspiracy. This whole thing has tentacles everywhere. The President's sitting there and kind of just like, yeah, we were really good friends. What else can you say? I drew a picture for him. Trump drew a weird sexual picture.
Ebro Darden
And by the way, I love our secrets. Well, and by the way, nobody's going to do anything.
Louis
That's the sad part.
Ebro Darden
It's like, nothing's going to happen.
Louis
How many proof do you need?
Laura Rosenberg
People have tried to do lots of things. There are people still actively working I mean, we can't pretend like there aren't people whose whole life mission is to try to do more with this.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
There's only so much I guess they can do.
Ebro Darden
And maybe, and maybe, maybe everybody's waiting for the midterms. Maybe that's what they're waiting to, to have the House of Representatives and the Senate have some turnover so maybe they can push some things forward.
Laura Rosenberg
But I maintain this is not gonna be the thing that beats them anyway. So even if you get everything you want, it's not gonna be enough to change. You have to get these people out of office. Like, they're not gonna get them arrested. Trump's not going to jail.
Louis
Absolutely not.
Ebro Darden
And that, by the way, I just wanna make sure I point out and been saying this for almost what, 10 years.
Laura Rosenberg
I'm getting there.
Ebro Darden
Getting it played yourself. Like, congratulations, you played yourself. You're gonna have, in your, in our society, you're gonna have continued and repeat behavior of politicians being this corrupt if you don't. This whole handshake, you know, gentlemen, gentlemen's political agreement that we uphold certain, you know, truths to be self evident and all this other. Shut up. If ain't nobody going to jail. If the Senate and, and the House of Representatives don't actually have an arm that can, that can actually enforce the law.
Louis
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Do you have. You don't. You're not sorry. You have nothing. I know you have nothing.
Myron Gaines
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
This is not one where there should be handshakes and everything's okay, but remember, whenever the Democrats try to go after him, it's always seen as this witch hunt. And remember, when it goes the other way and people literally break into the Capitol, harm people, people die. Dudu gets smeared on the walls that pursuing those people is seen as a witch hunt.
Ebro Darden
Well, it's because the disingenuous, disgusting, you know, delinquents that run social media, right, it's. Social media is full of shitheads that make $500 a month to just spew nonsense and get the algorithm going in a certain direction. And you know, people who are trying to do good, they don't move like that, bro. They're not just out here paying scumbags to clip up and act like. I mean, hell, speaking of scumbags, Hunter Biden sitting with Nick Fuentes, man, like, Hunter Biden.
Ibrahim
Yes.
Ebro Darden
Crackhead addict, all of that, trying to like, you know, have honest convo. Feels the need to go sit with a. Oh, man, I'm cursing a lot.
Laura Rosenberg
They sat together because I don't even
Ebro Darden
know I don't even know how to express.
Louis
He's a white supremacist.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, they, he. So they went on someone else's show. Both of them together at the same time.
Louis
Okay.
Laura Rosenberg
He wasn't on, if that makes a difference. I don't believe it was Fuentes's platform, but when I saw it, I was just like, why you're going to try to. And it's. Don't get me wrong, you watch them trying to say things and you appreciate like saying it to their face. But you're still. Even though it's crazy that Hunter Biden can legitimize anyone because of all the things you just mentioned, he's still the son of a president from a few years ago.
Ebro Darden
Well, he's also legitimized, also from what we know of him other than crack and prostitutes. Been a good guy.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, we don't know that. He's like.
Ebro Darden
I know some. I've known some nice crackheads.
Laura Rosenberg
Facts, of course.
Ebro Darden
And. And I've known some nice people who get prostitutes 1000%.
Laura Rosenberg
Some of the greats of all time have done both. It's. Do you want to watch the.
Ebro Darden
I mean, let's watch.
Laura Rosenberg
All right, this is one. What do you think about somebody like Mamdani?
Nick Fuentes
Personally, I don't like him. I don't like some of the things that he said. Like for example, on 4th of July when he takes the opportunity to sit there with, let's be honest, not a single white person in the room and says, you know, the founding fathers would look down on us, the working people with their dirt streaked hands against the billionaires. A little too divisive. I like his energy. I like that he's young. It's ironic.
Ibrahim
Fair enough.
Laura Rosenberg
That's rich, buddy.
Ibrahim
But.
Ebro Darden
No, but it seems pointed at me.
Laura Rosenberg
I know, but I. Yeah, but, but the, the thing.
Interviewer
He was dissing you in that video.
Nick Fuentes
Yeah, a little bit.
Laura Rosenberg
Staring down the camera like just for you, Nick.
Ebro Darden
You son of a.
Nick Fuentes
People like me. Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
Speaking of prostitutes, it's. You know what Hunter Biden could fix Nick Fuentes.
Ebro Darden
Well, if you get him some prostitutes.
Laura Rosenberg
Listen to that man's voice. That is a man who has never touched a vagina.
Ebro Darden
Testicles haven't dropped yet.
Laura Rosenberg
Something I'm telling. And I think he's talked about that
Ebro Darden
like he's never had a.
Laura Rosenberg
He's not into. Like he's not gay if. God forbid, of course, but he's not into women.
Ebro Darden
Like, you know, a lot of people don't know what their sexuality.
Laura Rosenberg
But he will Out. You've seen the clip of him talking about it, right? Where he talks about, like, oh, wow, women make you to want weak.
Ebro Darden
I'm not.
Laura Rosenberg
I'm chasing women. Blah, blah, blah. It's like, bro, that's why you sound like that.
Ebro Darden
But you can see there him even using words like divisive and then laughing at himself. He knows he's divisive, of course. So he knows he's full of. Right. You see what I'm saying? So now we're having real conversations with people who know they're just algo hustling. That's. You're not a serious person, Joe Rogan. You're not a serious person, Theo von. You're not. These aren't serious people. You're just algo hustlers, right? And so now legitimate conversations, right? Whether or not you think Hunter's legitimate or not, legitimate conversations have to go through these people who have just hustled individuals into subscribing and being a part of a platform. You see? Does that make. Is it making sense what I'm saying?
Laura Rosenberg
Of course it is. But you did. You did something interesting there, which is. But it speaks to something that I think is a major problem. You brought up two people who are wildly different in Nick Fuentes and Theo Vaughn. Right? Like, there's seemingly a ton of space between them. Except Theo Vaughn did, at some point say he thought Nick Fuentes was. I like how honest he is. And he is still Will. Like, even though Theo Vaughn may not be that person all the time, he's okay with it at times.
Louis
Correct.
Laura Rosenberg
Which is all part. It's all part of putting it in our algorithm and making it normal.
Ebro Darden
Well, and the normalization of it. Back to the Epstein thing we just watched. The Epstein convo is so normal that there's no shock left.
Laura Rosenberg
And people like Nick Fuentes, who are straight up Hitler lovers. I mean, he.
Theo Von
He.
Laura Rosenberg
These people.
Ebro Darden
Him.
Laura Rosenberg
What's your man's name? I always forget his name. Bask him.
Ebro Darden
Who's Big?
Laura Rosenberg
The fake. The fake black Charlie Kirk. We did this last time. And everyone you know, he goes and sits in campuses. He was one of the idiots who talked to the girls on the podcast. Guys, why are you having me do this again?
Theo Von
Do it again.
Ebro Darden
I know. Same thing.
Laura Rosenberg
Doing what?
Ebro Darden
What are you doing?
Louis
Myron Gaines.
Laura Rosenberg
Yes, Myron Gaines. And people like that.
Ebro Darden
Yo, I learned who Myron was on this show.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, exactly. We did the exact same skit, and only this time. I lost Baskin. Last time, I at least had him. This time, I Looked at me like this. You knew last time. Anyways, these people, like that guy are wearing the, you know, have worn these shirts.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
About cookies in the oven that are based on what's cookies in the oven. T's comparing Jews in ovens to cookies. And Hunter Biden brings Hunter. That's another clip I saw of Hunter Biden being like, I got to explain to you. I got to ask you about this shirt that you wear. And he's like, oh. And he's like, you understand that's not funny. Like, you're, You're. He's like, it's a joke. He's like, no, you, you don't joke about comparing human beings to cookies in an oven. He's like, literally trying to explain it to someone. If you have to explain that to these people, there's no conversation to be had. I. I can't. That's where I really think about you. I'm like, I'm sorry. I appreciate you trying, like, to look at someone and say, like, cuz Tunder says that. He's like, I'm looking you in the eyes. My wife and my children are Jewish. How can you think that's funny? There's nothing funny. That's their real family trauma. And he says all the things. This is what makes him good. He's like, take out everything else. I don't want to talk about Israel, Netanyahu, nothing. Those are just people. And you're comparing cookies in an oven to their real experience. And like, Nick's like, are you just going to lecture me?
Nick Fuentes
Or.
Laura Rosenberg
I'm like, bro, we can't have a conversation.
Ebro Darden
That's what I'm saying.
Laura Rosenberg
This is why we never sat down with the Tommy Lorenz and the Candace Owens and all. Because they're not serious people.
Ebro Darden
Well. And they're also just not. They're just not good people.
Laura Rosenberg
Not good. Not. Not as smart as they pretend to sound.
Ebro Darden
No.
Laura Rosenberg
Because everything they say is essentially rooted in hate. It's the same basic, not intelligent hatred that people have been espousing in this country since it started. It's the people we've been fighting the whole. That good people have been fighting the
Louis
entire time, but smart enough to have a fan base, which is the sickening part. People who digest this and love it and consume it because they think they're brave. You know what I mean? Or they're like, look at them. Not scared to say how they feel, whether. And they probably do agree with them.
Laura Rosenberg
There's something about them that connects with people. Like, I, I was had this thought.
Ebro Darden
They're entertainers, man.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, but I was watching a clip that we were looking for. I don't know if Louie found it. I was trying to find one of the clips of Mehdi Hassan and Hasan Piker. You got it. All right, let's watch this clip and then remind me to tell you what the thought that I had.
Interviewer
All right, a Democrat. Who would you pick between Gavin Newsom and Rahm Emanuel?
Ibrahim
Oh, God. Oh, shoot me. Oh, I have no idea.
Interviewer
You have to pick one. It's the game.
Ibrahim
You know what's crazy? Rahm Emanuel is better on foreign policy than Gavin Newsom criticizing Israel recently.
Interviewer
You buy that?
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ibrahim
I mean, I don't buy it, but
Ebro Darden
at least he's doing it.
Ibrahim
His dad was in Irun, I think, which is wild.
Interviewer
All right, so Rahm Emanuel, Gavin Newsom is Ram.
Ibrahim
I don't know. But because.
Laura Rosenberg
Because Gavin.
Ibrahim
Because Gavin is an empty suit. So are we capable of pushing him? But he's also an empty game.
Interviewer
You are.
Ibrahim
Yeah, I know.
Interviewer
This is Rahm Emanuel or Gavin Newsome?
Ibrahim
I don't know.
Interviewer
Gavin Newsome, probably Gavin Newsome or Pete Buttigieg.
Ibrahim
Pete Buttigieg. This game sucks.
Interviewer
Pete Buttigieg or Kabla Harris?
Ibrahim
I don't know, because I'm like. I'm now thinking, like, who's more malleable, who's more susceptible?
Interviewer
Whatever reasoning you have, I'm just asking
Ibrahim
you to give it to influence. I don't know. I mean, Kamala Harris, I guess she has more name recognition.
Interviewer
Kamala Harris or Jonas Off?
Ibrahim
Oh, Jon Ossoff.
Interviewer
Jon Ossoff or J.B. pritzker.
Ibrahim
J.B. pritzker.
Interviewer
Why?
Ibrahim
I think J.B. prisker, despite being a billionaire, is, again, more responsive, whereas Jon Ossoff, as Jon Ossoff, has a more interesting background and is, like, I think, secretly closer to, you know, my worldview than J.B. pritzker is. Even push Pritzker more. But I think Pritzker has this, like this. This ability to read the room, the left side of the room, whereas John Ossif is always reading the right side.
Interviewer
Okay.
Ibrahim
If you know what I mean.
Interviewer
I do.
Ibrahim
Like, one is posturing to the left, the other is posturing to the. More than they should prefer the posturing
Interviewer
of the billionaire to the left. J.B. pritzker or Chris Van Hollen.
Ibrahim
Chris Van Hollen.
Interviewer
Chris Van Hollen or Ro Khanna.
Ibrahim
Ro Kana.
Interviewer
Ro Khanna or AOC aoc.
Ibrahim
It's not even a question. AOC is out of all of the people that you mentioned, like AOC is. Is the only one that I would like.
Interviewer
And you think she could win general election.
Ibrahim
Yeah.
Interviewer
Misogynistic racist country.
Ebro Darden
Yes, people are.
Ibrahim
Yes.
Interviewer
A lot of misogynist and races in this country.
Laura Rosenberg
100%.
Ibrahim
Absolutely. America was built on the foundations of white supremacy and elected a black man whose middle name was Hussein.
Interviewer
But you know that the position of Barack Obama.
Ebro Darden
So do you want us to remind you now of what you want to talk about or do you want to comment about that?
Laura Rosenberg
No, let me. I remember it and I'll say it right now.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
What is it about them two very smart, progressive guys. To me, watching them talk is not. And I like them both. And yet they're not particularly appealing to me. And just sitting there and watching them talk, I don't think they're ever appealing or entertaining. Both. They're never gonna reach people who don't already agree with them. Whereas a lot of the people who we talk about in the algorithm and we don't like and we think. And Laura, you just pointed out, but like they're smart enough to do blank. They're able to capture sort of empty minds and pull them over and make them believe what they believe. Those guys are not catching anyone. I don't know why Hasan Piker, who I love. I mean, he's great. He's dressed like Fidel Castro. What is going on, my man? Like, and the level of serious.
Ebro Darden
I don't think that's a Fidel outfit.
Laura Rosenberg
I don't even know what the comp is. Ebro. I'm sorry, I'm reaching. Pardon me. I've never seen anyone dressed like that in real life.
Ebro Darden
I think. I think he was trolling. I think Hassan dressed like that too. Troll, by the way.
Laura Rosenberg
He. He dresses. But he's been doing a whole thing.
Ebro Darden
No, no, no. I think he does it. It's a troll. But we get our show.
Laura Rosenberg
He was normal.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
After ev. Everything I saw him do after us was like, big suit, big time.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
But I'm not trying to. So they're great and they have a
Ebro Darden
value and they have a big following
Laura Rosenberg
and they have a big following. But do you see what I'm saying? They're not grabbing anyone intellect.
Ebro Darden
All you're talking about is smart. Well, you're just talking. So you're basically saying, and we know this and we can relate this to music and lyrics and lyricism and rap for sure. The more. The more simple. Lowest common denominator. Sex, raunchy, you know, mindless. The music is Generally, the more popular it is.
Laura Rosenberg
I could even compare it. Wait for it. To morning shows.
Ebro Darden
There you go.
Laura Rosenberg
Yes, I could. I sure could. Like. And it's frustrating because everyone's going to. Who's going to be the left? Joe Rogan or. But you ain't going to find it because the conversations are not simple enough for people to grab it or maybe.
Ebro Darden
I mean, look, we had success in New York City being sensible and trying to be somewhat intelligent.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, we did.
Ebro Darden
Right.
Laura Rosenberg
So it's impossible in a specific place.
Ebro Darden
In a specific place where we knew
Laura Rosenberg
how to also do.
Ebro Darden
But I also. I also don't think. I also don't think. Think that the people who finance and market and push things forward
Nick Fuentes
are. Are. Are.
Ebro Darden
Are helping finance things that are encouraging intelligent conversations. I don't think that that's an investment. That they don't have money to invest in that.
Laura Rosenberg
Right. No, they have money, though.
Ebro Darden
But not to invest in that.
Laura Rosenberg
Not in that.
Ebro Darden
Not in that. But Hassan and. And Mehdi. And I'm trying to think. There's definitely people out there who are trying to have intelligent conversations for sure.
Laura Rosenberg
Even. And more than before. They're reaching.
Ebro Darden
Even our other friend Hassan. Hassan Minaj, for sure.
Louis
Yes, yes.
Nick Fuentes
Is.
Ebro Darden
Is out here moving around the podcast world doing.
Laura Rosenberg
Wait, is that our issue? Do we don't have anyone named Hassan or Hasan?
Ebro Darden
Should I start using my government? Ibrahim?
Laura Rosenberg
It might help because they got Mehdi Hassan, Hassan Piker and Hassan Minaj.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. And you guys are watching Ibrahim, Laura and Rosenberg.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, that might. That might.
Louis
But you know what? One thing that I will say. What's his brother's name? Isaiah Martin. The one who's always frying up magas.
Myron Gaines
Yeah.
Louis
I feel like part of his popularity is for the simplicity of him checking people.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Louis
That's why people like him. It's not always the meat and potatoes of the conversation. They just love to see him crush someone which has.
Laura Rosenberg
Which has a value if you're trying to cut through.
Ebro Darden
I think also, too, it takes time to build your platform. Like they're, you know, jumping up today and trying to have a platform that reaches a certain audience and have credibility with that audience by November. It's not gonna happen for you, bro. Snot. It's not how it works. Joe Rogan's been around how long doing
Laura Rosenberg
what he's doing like 20.
Louis
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Joe Button's been around how long on the Internet, don't. Making content like 20. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. Nick Fuentes, his whole timeline, but it's
Laura Rosenberg
still a while at this point.
Ebro Darden
Even academics. How long has he been doing what he's doing?
Theo Von
15.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, a long time.
Ebro Darden
Like, these guys have built an audience and have connection to community that they've built. And so if you don't have that and you haven't put that time and you just don't have deep enough relationships. And so, you know, and then now you have traditional media, which is, you know, really not wanting to be about anything because it's dangerous to the advertiser, which is dangerous to the bottom line because you might get in the fray with the President, etc. Etc. And so you don't have people on mainstream platforms doing it because it's too dangerous. Yeah, pretty much. You know, they're playing middle of the road, at least for the. At least until the mid. It's gonna be interesting after the midterm to see if something actually shifts in this country in the. In the Congress, and. And people actually start to really open up about how they feel. Because right now, I can guarantee you, people are definitely sitting quiet, not wanting to lose whatever.
Theo Von
Of course.
Louis
Of course. Yo, bro. Even as simple as me coming back into the country and they randomly select me again, I'm like, oh, boy, here we go.
Ibrahim
It.
Louis
Don't you think it crosses my mind? Like, wait. I was like, is my phone okay? Like, you know, I didn't get the burner phone that people were telling me to get. Like, things like that really crossed my mind.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, is that a thing?
Theo Von
I didn't.
Laura Rosenberg
I didn't realize.
Louis
Yes.
Laura Rosenberg
People say they have, like an extra phone you bring with you that just has nothing on it.
Louis
Yes, yes. Just in case they want to search your phone for whatever reason. Because now.
Ebro Darden
Well, now they got your face saying it. So if you have a burner phone, they're gonna ask you for it.
Laura Rosenberg
Someone made a good point in our chat.
Ibrahim
They said.
Laura Rosenberg
Said disagree with Rosenberg. It's easier to reach people when you're being hateful or bigoted. Totally agree. Yeah, that's in there too, of course.
Louis
Yes. Yes.
Laura Rosenberg
They're not coming up with some easy. Blame it on another group talk. That's always very popular.
Ebro Darden
Go to clip number 11. Look at this story. It was done by. I guess this is a UK news outlet.
Myron Gaines
I was an unapologetic MAGA activist. The opposition Democratic Party is an amalgam of all of the worst mass suffering ideologies in the history of mankind. The way I looked at it is I was embroiled in this good versus evil battle between everyone in MAGA and everyone who was against us. In maga, I was addicted to rage. Interesting. I was always enraged and angry at somebody or something. And there is a dopamine infused reaction that happens from being addicted to rage. I had allowed myself to believe lies. I had believed that they were coming for our guns and trying to indoctrinate our children in the public schools. They were trying to replace white people with brown people and foreigners. I started to realize, no, the this is not true. I had crafted an entire Persona and identity based on lies.
Laura Rosenberg
Rich formed Leaving maga, a group designed to help others make the difficult transition he himself made. What's the uptake been like for this?
Myron Gaines
We have never been busier, really. And I am hopeful and optimistic for the future because when we leave Maga, we have to reintegrate ourselves back into our democracy rather than tear it down. And one of the ways that we build up our democracy is by recognizing that we agree more than we disagree, bro.
Louis
It's a cult, bro. It's a cult.
Ebro Darden
My brain, my brain's ability to be empathetic is. I like, I glitch. I glitch. Like, I'm like, how, like when he's like, leaving maga, you have to reintegrate into society.
Ibrahim
What?
Ebro Darden
Who are.
Laura Rosenberg
This has been 10 years. We're 10 years in.
Ebro Darden
Well, not even that, but like, you were that far gone.
Louis
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
And earlier in the clip, the main thing, the, the, the interviewer asked him, he said, so what was the thing that like helped you realize that you were just like, you know, down a bad path or whatever words he used. And the guy, the Leaving MAGA guy said, I started to look at different news outlets. Simple as that. I started to read other articles and was just kind of like, oh, this is what other people are saying.
Louis
Let me look into it a little deeper. Oh, wait.
Ebro Darden
Or let me just hear a different view. Like, it blows my mind that people are.
Ibrahim
And.
Ebro Darden
But so I bring that up because you. We were talking, the super chatter said, you know, racist bigotry really helps. You know, it deals with the rage. And people, you know, in this society have talked about the anger of the flyover states. Remember that conversation? The flyover states, that was like a 2016 thing. The middle America where they were so ready to remember Drain the swamp.
Ibrahim
Yeah, yeah.
Ebro Darden
They got played into thinking that voting for Donald Trump and getting in this movement. Right. Because they wanted to be a part of something that felt like they were taking back a country that left them. So we all have to remember that, don't Forget how we got here. Trump is an empty suit. Also, as Hasan Piker said about Gavin Newsom, remember, you would always say Trump doesn't believe anything. All he cares about is being popular and making money.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
And whoever's going to be his followers, that's who he's going to. And that's why they chose him, though, because they knew he stood for nothing.
Theo Von
Yeah.
Nick Fuentes
Yeah.
Louis
It's easier to manipulate.
Laura Rosenberg
Right.
Ebro Darden
Oh, this guy's great. He's going to, he's going to do for the, for the people who funded him. Right. And financed his. This last 10 years, they benefited tremendously from his corporate tax breaks, deregulation of things. They have made money hand over fist. Generational.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, yeah.
Ebro Darden
Multigenerational wealth forever wealth forever money. And so this paid off for them. For the rest of us, though, right. We're left with the scraps, the fallout, the cleanup. We got to clean it up again, because that's what this is going to be about. And so. But you have to remember that there is a large group of people, mostly white white men and women, who, who voted for this because they felt like they were losing their country.
Louis
Yes.
Ebro Darden
Now they were. Why were they made to believe this? Because it's the only way the Republicans can get voters. Because they don't have an. They don't have enough people.
Laura Rosenberg
But that goes back to what the person said Seehorn said in the chat about the bigotry selling.
Ebro Darden
Right.
Laura Rosenberg
It's the only thing that, you know, will really galvanize people who otherwise, especially
Ebro Darden
against black and brown people.
Laura Rosenberg
Right.
Louis
Yeah. And veiled under religion, you know, the Christian nationalist movement. When was the last time I had such a spike in popularity? I know it's always been there, but let's keep it real. It's. It's playing Donald Trump like a puppet.
Laura Rosenberg
And, and they. And it's always easy, like, hey, let's pick another group. Whoever the other group is that you could say is beneath you.
Ebro Darden
The fight. You have to look at the people who financially benefited from the last 10 years. They had money to invest in this. This was. Money was spent. Remember that? Money was spent on these podcasts to be bigger advertising rolled into these podcasts to be bigger money was spent. I mean, we talk about it now for this program, right. To gain popularity, right. In the. On the Internet, you have to spend money.
Laura Rosenberg
Yes.
Ebro Darden
Every. You think what you're seeing in your algorithm is like organic. It is not. It is not. It is put in front of you by paid platforms to market their content. There is nothing Going on. On the Internet that is not paid for.
Laura Rosenberg
It feels that way, yeah.
Ebro Darden
How do you think they make money? They don't make money just because you scroll and post. Right.
Laura Rosenberg
And why do I get shown things I've said I'm not interested in before?
Ebro Darden
Because somebody paid for you to see it. Because you fit a demographic they're trying to reach.
Laura Rosenberg
Yo, they show me all the people I don't mess with. They show me all the time. And I will say, I'm not interested. I don't want this. And then somehow it comes back later. You sure
Louis
you don't want a little taste?
Laura Rosenberg
You know, this person we.
Theo Von
You.
Laura Rosenberg
You've publicly stated you hate this person. You sure you don't want to see what they have to say?
Ebro Darden
So keep that in mind as we. As we get deeper into the midterms this year, and, you know, the 2028 elections, too. Laura Styles, you ready for the rundown?
Louis
Let's go.
Ebro Darden
Laura got the rundown.
Laura Rosenberg
Turn that up. Screens on glow when she pull up.
Ebro Darden
Headlines heavy, but we still caught up. Light still flashing. We don't slow.
Louis
All right, the big versus went down. The game versus yg. April, you were front and center. I was in the building. I saw clips of the celebration. First of all, after a while, it just felt like one big party.
Ebro Darden
It was. It was one big party.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. Versus has become a different. It's a different thing.
Ebro Darden
It depends. You know, the last one, Rosenberg, you and Tony Baker were saying it didn't come across your algorithm at all because you weren't in the demo.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Which was Pretty Ricky and B2K.
Laura Rosenberg
Too old, too white. It wasn't for me.
Ebro Darden
Not female.
Laura Rosenberg
Wasn't Not a woman. It wasn't sent to me.
Ebro Darden
And so. But that was, like, one of the biggest verses of most recent times. They actually were battling the entire time. Or Tyrese and Tank, they were, like, talking to each other and, you know, boom, boom, boom. I think the Game and YG were more. More focused on celebrating their city, you know, because their neighborhoods are literally across the street from each other. And so I think this was really important to them. Had a conversation with them. You can check it out on Internet Rap Life Review, look it up on Apple music's you know, YouTube channel. Or, you know, if you want to look, you can actually still go watch the verses on Apple Music, too. But, you know, I think, look, when you're from where they're from and doing a performance in la, when you're from those neighborhoods and celebrating like that, it's not Going to happen often. You know what I mean? Like those event. Nobody throws those events for them. So it was a. It was really cool that verses and Apple music was able to do that. Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
And you want it to be a celebration of love. Like, that's not something where you want it to be about them.
Ebro Darden
Nah. And there was a. There was a. There was a listen. Their affiliations make it tense enough.
Laura Rosenberg
There's enough.
Ebro Darden
Everybody just calm down.
Laura Rosenberg
Was security intense?
Ebro Darden
We had our regular security. It wasn't like anything else. It wasn't, you know, everything was good. Like, I mean, the Game's mom was there. Like, it was still. It was very much like.
Louis
And I'm sure people knew what they were showing up for.
Ebro Darden
People brought their kids. The Game Son was there, you know what I mean? Like, and people I had known for a long time were there, like, youngest. The baby, not the baby. Like, I think that was his son.
Laura Rosenberg
Game has a bunch of kids, bro.
Ebro Darden
Rahsaan.
Rahsaan
Yes.
Laura Rosenberg
We saw a big boy come out.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, big boy popped up.
Laura Rosenberg
We also heard them look for you.
Ebro Darden
They said, yeah, I was in the back getting the radio studio radio ready for Rap Life review. And then when I came back, they had moved on.
Louis
Okay, okay, okay.
Laura Rosenberg
What were they looking for Ebro for now they just said, your Ebro's in town. And then I think Game of the. Oh, he was back on the West Coast. He bro come out.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, but he knew I was there. Like I had already saw. So they just put guys. It was just entertainment.
Louis
A story that was moving around though, is that YG almost missed the verses because he was detained hours before while law enforcement executed a search warrant tied to a murder investigation, which I guess he addressed on stage. But cops were basically executing this search warrant connected to Drakeo the Ruler's murder investigation. And the property that was searched was connected to yg. But of course he denied any involvement in it and he was released and he made it.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, it wasn't even close. Like, it wasn't even like he had. He was there at like noon, relaxing, chilling.
Laura Rosenberg
But the.
Ebro Darden
This happened. I think this happened at like 6 or 7 o' clock in the morning.
Laura Rosenberg
It did feel weird that it was like day of the event. It felt random when I saw it that day, knowing the event was happening.
Ebro Darden
I've always told rappers, you know, you know, whatever your extracurriculars are and you're from especially like in New York and LA and your affiliations, et cetera, when you have a big event, the police love to get their own marketing out of these rappers. True.
Louis
Sure, sure.
Ebro Darden
So if you got something going on and you getting big promo police and you're from a certain neighborhood, the police love being able to look like, you know, we're shutting down these bad guys, these rappers, you see us, and they get a little press out of it. Like this.
Louis
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
So they got a little press off yg. Now the. The. The Draco murder. Draco murder is how old? Five years.
Laura Rosenberg
No, Draco's like. Yeah, three, four years already.
Ebro Darden
Three, four years. YG has a song on his album about it, about the whole. About his version of the goings on. He's like, guys, I didn't have nothing to do with this. Like, why would I want to be a part of this? And I'm out here making money. I think at the event where it took place.
Laura Rosenberg
Damn, it is five years, December 20th,
Ebro Darden
I think at the event where it took place, YG was performing that day. He's like, why would I be involved in this? But once again, when you're affiliated with this thing or that thing or this neighborhood, this stuff happens. We see this all the time.
Louis
So in other news, Chris Brown was in court after pleading guilty to attacking a music producer in a London nightclub. Now, this happened three years ago, so he pleaded guilty to a criminal charge of AT in London. So I guess an afraid charge under British law is defined as using threatening physical violence in a public setting that will cause a person to fear for their life. So by changing his plea deal to guilty for the charge, I guess now British prosecutors dropped several more serious charges that were against him. They dropped charges that included assault, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm intent. So now the offense carries a maximum penalty up to three years in prison. So he's free on $6 million bail agreement right now, but he has to go back for a formal sentencing October 26th.
Ebro Darden
And so what. What do we. The headline I saw was this had something to do with him about to miss some shows.
Louis
Well, because people were saying, like, oh, my God, he's going to miss some shows if. You know, if he actually goes to.
Laura Rosenberg
If he were sentenced. Right. But, Louis, that is that.
Rahsaan
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
How realistic is that?
Ebro Darden
Right?
Laura Rosenberg
Everyone doesn't know it's realistic.
Ebro Darden
It sounds like a great. Cool. A cool story, bro.
Laura Rosenberg
Why do. Why are you so sure? It's just nothing.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, I'm not. I just don't think he's going to jail, and I don't think he's going to miss shows. I don't know what else is going to happen. After that, I just don't think he's going to jail and I don't think he's missing.
Louis
You think they're just going to hit him with a hefty fine?
Ebro Darden
A hefty fine or whatever, some sort of deal, but I don't think he's going to jail.
Laura Rosenberg
You know, can you imagine how. How much more peaceful Chris Brown's life would be if he didn't have, like some sort of something every couple years?
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
Like whether it's a fight or a breakup with someone and he just feels like he hasn't ever been able to fully, fully be removed from. Nonsense.
Ebro Darden
Not yet. Not yet.
Louis
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
It's stressful. That's stressful.
Louis
Did you guys talk about the new Black Panther?
Laura Rosenberg
I did not know because it happened over the weekend.
Ebro Darden
Comic Con.
Louis
So David Johnson is officially entering the Marvel Universe as t' Challa's son.
Laura Rosenberg
I like this.
Ebro Darden
We have some. We have some still. Here we go, look. Now, where do I know David Johnson from?
Louis
I was trying to figure out too. I don't know.
Laura Rosenberg
Is he brand new?
Ebro Darden
I've seen his face. For sure.
Louis
So the sequel is set to arrive in theaters December 15, 2028. Well, they're calling it a sequel.
Ebro Darden
It's a third. Is this third a sequel?
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, it's another sequel. What do you mean?
Ebro Darden
I wasn't sure. I always thought sequel was two. I didn't know what three was called. What sequence?
Louis
20, 28.
Ebro Darden
No, I hear you. I hear you. I just didn't know I was really asking.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, it's now a trilogy, but it's still sequel.
Ebro Darden
Well, a trilogy would just mean. Yeah, like it was the third.
Myron Gaines
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Shout to David Johnson, though. He's. He's. Let's see.
Laura Rosenberg
Do you see what else he's known for?
Ebro Darden
Yeah, let's see. Alien Romulus. The Long Walk.
Nick Fuentes
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
He's been doing his thing, though.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. Yo, Comic Con was like on fire this weekend. It was as active at Comic Con. No, but this one.
Louis
Crazy.
Ebro Darden
Every year I'll just say you're out.
Laura Rosenberg
Go for me this year. I guess the combo of different. The wrestling stuff always hits my algorithm. Yeah, but they. Between this being big news, the Black Panther. I know. Griff is psyched because the Rock announced another Black Adam. So the Rock is. The Rock is back. There was just like so many. One thing after another kept hitting my algorithm.
Ebro Darden
I never saw the first Black Adam. Ghost Rider.
Laura Rosenberg
Ghost Rider. That was a big thing too.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, that was.
Laura Rosenberg
Ryan Gosling is Ghost Rider. Oh, that was the Ryan Gosling.
Ebro Darden
All right, all right.
Laura Rosenberg
It was a lot. What up, Ryan Reynolds? Do you have anything see Ryan Reynolds? I knew it. Big Ryan Coogler. Ryan Reynolds.
Ebro Darden
The Ryan.
Laura Rosenberg
Ryan Gosling, Saving Private Ryan. They were all there. Now, Laura, are you covering my latest beef in your.
Ebro Darden
Wait, you have beef?
Laura Rosenberg
Just looked on Twitter. Popping off right now. I didn't even know.
Ebro Darden
You want to restart the rundown or you want to do a different starting
Laura Rosenberg
from the top Hebrew? It's big. Gotta catch up, Laura.
Ebro Darden
Well, you know, we haven't hit in a while though. It sounds like it's some.
Louis
Hold on to your speakers,
Ibrahim
Laura.
Ebro Darden
Laura never goes low.
Laura Rosenberg
When they go low, she goes high.
Ebro Darden
No, she never go. Yeah, she never goes low.
Louis
So what's happening in these Internet streets?
Laura Rosenberg
So. So yesterday I saw a post from the NBA's Kyle Kuzma. And I say the NBA because I truthfully, until just the second when I checked on Wikipedia, thought he was a wizard, but apparently he was. Now a buck. He's a charger now he's a ram. I don't know, but he's a buck now. Okay, anyways, pull that clip up again. Ebro, you want to read it?
Ebro Darden
Let's see here. This is 2025, people, cos you're already
Laura Rosenberg
off to a bedster.
Ebro Darden
This is 2026. It's small. Let's see here. People cosplay as things. They don't have the authority, the talent or the track record to actually be just for content. A mayor playing president, A founder playing operator. A content creator playing one on one, thinking he's a pro. A 25 year old with a ring light playing economist.
Laura Rosenberg
Ebro, struggling to read everyone auditioning his site.
Ebro Darden
I can't. My site.
Laura Rosenberg
No, the site is bananas.
Louis
We're all blind.
Ebro Darden
And then this light is not helping me.
Laura Rosenberg
Everybody auditioning, nobody building. We're raising a generation. That learning. The reward isn't doing the thing. It's in looking like you did the thing. The clip is the career. The pose is the product. The sound bite is the substitute for a life's work. Don't fall for distractions. And then he posts Mamdani's Netanyahu speech.
Ebro Darden
Okay, so he doesn't agree with the speech.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, apparently he doesn't agree with the speech and decided to give an entire spiel saying that Mamdani is a complete fraud. Where anyone who lives here knows that the mayor is absolutely mayoring. So I. I don't know why this annoyed me, but it did because who is Kyle? Who are you? Random NBA Joe Blow. Who at the time I thought was still on the Wizards.
Ebro Darden
Well, I mean, he's an NBA champion in 2020. He's an NBA All Star, All Rookie, First Team, 2018.
Laura Rosenberg
None of this. None of those things lead to. I should listen to you about New York mayoral politics. So I. I said, do you have my thing, bro? Bro, you are truly beyond your depth. Just go be 16 and 21 and call it a day. Now, I should note, I thought he was on the Wizards when I said, just go be 21 and 61 on the.
Ebro Darden
On the Bucks.
Laura Rosenberg
I think he should be like, 35 and 37. So let's have a different kind of conversation. And then. So I just went on today. I forgot that this happened.
Louis
Okay.
Laura Rosenberg
And then I just went on. I saw I had a lot of mentions, and he said the following to me.
Louis
Okay. What do you say?
Ebro Darden
That one.
Laura Rosenberg
I don't know. What the fuck are we doing?
Ebro Darden
Oh, man. Fail.
Louis
All right, we'll just pull it up.
Nick Fuentes
Read it.
Louis
Read it. What did he say to you? What's that?
Laura Rosenberg
This was the home run he said to me. Huh? This is not polite, by the way. I just want everybody to know he
Ebro Darden
was mean to you.
Laura Rosenberg
I think he was mean. Damn.
Ebro Darden
You were mean first. It should be noted. It's like when you called me a bitch first.
Laura Rosenberg
No, you were. That's not. That's a bad comp. You were being mean first. I just use mean words.
Ebro Darden
I wasn't being mean first.
Myron Gaines
Lies.
Ebro Darden
I wasn't.
Rahsaan
You.
Ebro Darden
You still think I was being mean first when I said you didn't have money to invest.
Laura Rosenberg
Can we not do this again?
Louis
Did you find the reply?
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. Yeah. He said, I speak on my own platform. You speak when Ebro let you speak.
Ebro Darden
Oh, wow.
Laura Rosenberg
To which. To which I just want to say congratulations to Kyle Kuzma. Didn't know he owned Twitter. This is big. I didn't know Kuz and Elon Musk, they might be cahoots linked up to own Twitter. So, yes, now there you have it. I'm in it with Kyle Kuzma.
Ebro Darden
Yo, are you excited?
Laura Rosenberg
Not really. I like that Kyle Kuzma cares about things in the world. You're just completely wrong. Like, why ask you with money Got to Kyle Kuzma and are like, he's a bad guy, cuz. Why are you coming after him? On the Netanyahu statement, he. He actually admitted, I don't have the authority to do this. But I'm telling you because my voters had wanted me to do this. I'm telling You. I can't. But I looked into it and he's not welcome here.
Ebro Darden
But maybe he doesn't like Mom Donnie because Mom Donnie's. Like you said, Mom Donnie's anti, you know, Israel's government and anti Netanyahu and anti.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, that's what it jumps out to me. So I just wonder why is coup. Why is Kyle Kuzma. Why. What's his issue with those?
Ebro Darden
Maybe somebody's. Maybe somebody close to him is close to Israel's important.
Laura Rosenberg
Maybe. I don't know. I don't know.
Ebro Darden
Well, let me ask you this.
Laura Rosenberg
Either way, you sound like.
Ebro Darden
Let me ask you this.
Laura Rosenberg
You don't sound like you're informed, but
Ebro Darden
let me ask you this. Why? Just like me saying to you you don't have money to invest and you being like, you're being a dick.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
When he made his comment right. Why didn't you say you're not informed? I live in New York City. He's doing a great job.
Laura Rosenberg
You're right. That would have been a better statement.
Ebro Darden
You insulted first.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, you're right. You're right. You're right. Now I don't like the comps of yours because you were still being an a hole.
Ebro Darden
I wasn't.
Laura Rosenberg
No, stop. Again. We're not doing this again, everybody.
Louis
And that's why you're.
Laura Rosenberg
The world has. The world spoke and they were like, I don't.
Ebro Darden
Can I tell you something about the world speaking on money to invest? They don't have it either.
Laura Rosenberg
No, because they don't know that if you're intentionally using a phrase that the person who's talking to you doesn't understand and you continue to repeat it because you know it's bothering them.
Ebro Darden
But that's only once you. It started bothering you. That was for entertainment.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, but that's still pre. That was pre.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, but. But it shouldn't have. But it shouldn't have bothered.
Laura Rosenberg
I didn't know the phrase and you did. And so.
Ebro Darden
But if you had money to invest, you wouldn't. That's the whole point.
Laura Rosenberg
That's the crux of the whole thing. That was all. And that was the point. You're right, though. You're not wrong that me saying that. But I'm like, why are you talk. It's not my business.
Ebro Darden
Because he has an opinion. No, it's not.
Laura Rosenberg
Because I'm not my business. But he's talking down to someone who I admire and think is doing a great job. My city. You're right. It's not the most effective form of Communicating. But back to the world that we're living in. Would he have paid attention even if I hadn't said, he may have.
Ebro Darden
Maybe he may have because you're you and he knows you, which is why he responded because he wants to smoke. He only trust me. He's.
Laura Rosenberg
That's fair.
Ebro Darden
He's popular enough to know. Oh, I know this guy. He knew me.
Laura Rosenberg
Right. So he knows.
Ebro Darden
So he knows the show.
Laura Rosenberg
Correct.
Ebro Darden
No.
Laura Rosenberg
So maybe you're right. So that it wasn't a good. It wasn't a good way to go.
Ebro Darden
I like what you said, and I would have done something similar, but just ask.
Laura Rosenberg
No, no, but your. Your point is accepted, by the way. My dad. My dad and I had a really good conversation about mom donning the Netanyahu thing this weekend. My parents were in town for a little. Little birthday hanging, and I said to my dad, I was like, was the Netanyahu thing really smart? Like, it just feels like now all he's gonna be is talking about this further.
Ebro Darden
But I think he wants to.
Laura Rosenberg
So I asked him. I said I was just asking the question. I said, was it really, like, a good idea? Now, full disclosure. My dad is so. I mean, the man has three different color momdani shirts. Okay?
Ebro Darden
He's biased.
Laura Rosenberg
We can't say he's completely unbiased on Mamdani. But my dad is also much smarter politically than I am. So he was like. He said it made all the sense in the world for him to do it because it shows his base that he is gonna stick by the things he wants to do, and he needs to do that on this one, where there's really no negative ramifications. The people who hate him will continue to hate him and hate him more, and the people who love him will love him more. But he also has a lot of work and negotiating to do in other places. And this gives him cachet in one area where he has to play ball. There's other things like New York real estate and other places. He's going to play ball and do things that people in his base are like, oh, no, why are you doing that? You have to do some of the things you really said you were going to stick by. Because you can't be successful as mayor and not negotiate.
Louis
You have to.
Laura Rosenberg
On other things.
Louis
Yeah, you got to do it.
Laura Rosenberg
But this is a smart one for him to stick on because it's who he is and it's what he's always been.
Ebro Darden
I don't. I don't think Mom Donnie has ever said that he is like, against business or businesses or real estate doing business in New York. Matter of fact, I've heard him say he wanted to make it easier.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, but he's still gonna have to shake hands with people that people in his base are like, how could you do that? Because they don't get the big picture of what he's trying to do. Just like people come after AOC now every time she does something that is remotely meeting someone somewhere.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
Anyways, and then I saw a clip of Sid Rosenberg. I need to disavow this man. Sid Rosenberg. We are not related. The name Rosenberg is the 600th most popular last name in America. Okay, if that's why when you guys were bringing up last names.
Ebro Darden
Oh, right.
Laura Rosenberg
My dad had just brought this up to me. So there are a lot of Rosenberg. 600 is not that high on the list, but it's not that low on the list either. I'm not related to this man. He is an Islamophobe of the highest order. He went on Fox News yesterday calling Mamdani a terrorist.
Louis
Yeah, he's disgusting.
Laura Rosenberg
He's a disgusting red faced freak who just happens to have my name. Now, listen, he's jacked to the gills. He could beat me to a pulp. He won't catch me. But he would. But he is a bigoted, disgusting person who does not represent the ideals of the Jewish faith at all. He's a buddy of Netanyahu. And he has the nerve to call mom Donnie a terrorist. Mamdani a terrorist. A nerd politician who has only seemed to want to include people and be a good person while he buddies up with war criminals. So maybe his standard is not up to snuff. But I just, I can't see someone with mind. Someone came up to me recently, was like, sid Rosenberg.
Louis
Oh, no, no.
Laura Rosenberg
Swear to God. I was there with Keith McPherson at Fanatics. And he was like, you know, you look familiar. I was like, I looked at Keith, he's like, nah, bro, that's insane. I was like, you're just seeing people and you're associating the name Rosenberg, but you don't quite know.
Theo Von
So.
Laura Rosenberg
No, that is a bad Rosenberg.
Louis
Oh, you're like, hit me with Paul Rosenberg.
Laura Rosenberg
It's my guy.
Ebro Darden
That's the guy.
Louis
I just will say, like your response to. Because Rosenberg had left an emoji, a clapping emoji for mom Danny's speech.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, boy.
Louis
And I just, you know, I feel spicy.
Ebro Darden
When we talked about you going at people.
Louis
Oh, yeah, no.
Laura Rosenberg
Andy texting me and dragging me into it when I didn't know it was
Louis
happening, Laura, I got mad.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, we were wondering why, if you were really having a great time, why were you on Instagram? That was the convo.
Laura Rosenberg
It was early in the morning.
Louis
Yeah, Yeah, I was. You know, jet lag. I was up. You know, I had nothing to do. But you know what it is? It's like when people come at Rosa Brains. You betrayed your people. Like, those things. I'm like, how so?
Ebro Darden
Well, we've talked. We talked about it in the context.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. Laura was like, do tell me.
Ebro Darden
These. These individuals who feel like there's this universal. Of any group, like, where. Where you speak, an individual speaks on behalf of everyone. Or the. Or the. Or this particular group is all aligned on a specific topic. Like, it's just not a thing. It doesn't exist. It's actually pretty stupid. And anybody who thinks it's a thing, hit him. Oh, it's not working. Damn it. Congratulations. You played yourself. 8, 4, 4, ELR. ELR. 3. We got to get to the guru. We also got to shout out Cozy Earth today.
Laura Rosenberg
Can we shout out cozier?
Ebro Darden
Listen, I got my beach blankets from Cozy Earth over the weekend. We took them to the pool. We didn't make it to the beach.
Laura Rosenberg
We went to the pool, though. All right.
Ebro Darden
And let me tell you about these Cozy Earth beach towels. Excuse me.
Laura Rosenberg
Talk to me.
Ebro Darden
Beach towels.
Laura Rosenberg
Talk clean.
Ebro Darden
Listen, just like everything else I've gotten from Cozy Earth, ordering more. Getting rid of towels that we used to use for the pool and getting these Cozy Earth towels.
Louis
Fire.
Ebro Darden
Super fire. And you know that purchase code is still popping@cozy earth.com. the code is El are for an exclusive, 20% off. Was just talking to Jazz because when the towels came in, the beach towels came in. She was like, is the code still work? I'm going to. I need to tell my trainer about the code.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, but also make sure that she tells the trainer about the all. All day tea and rib knit pajama set.
Louis
Thank you for bringing that up. Because let me tell you something.
Laura Rosenberg
Go ahead.
Louis
You know how some people sleep cold, sleep hot? Yo, they're official. Like, for me, it's ultimate comfort. Like, it's like, I don't feel like I'm sweaty. I don't feel like.
Laura Rosenberg
And no one wants the sweaty styles.
Louis
Nobody wants to be. Nobody wants to be sweaty. No, honestly, they're super comfortable. They're a great gift. I got. I think I'm gonna apply that coat and get a second.
Laura Rosenberg
They're breathable soft, and built for the season. You're actually living in summer lives here. And honestly, so does the Cool and. Com. Head to cozyearth.com use our code ELR for an exclusive 20% off. That's code ELR for 20% off. And if you see a post purchase survey, make sure that you tell them you heard about Cozy Earth from us.
Ebro Darden
So I did you guys know I
Laura Rosenberg
have a T shirt addiction worse than me and Laura's.
Ebro Darden
Well, like a white tea.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, yeah.
Ebro Darden
Where if I see a company selling like a good white.
Laura Rosenberg
You see, Let me give this a shot.
Ebro Darden
I have to buy it because I feel like. Like I'm a white tea kind of aficionado.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, you are. It's been a brown.
Louis
You like, you. You buy like a dozen.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
And then I'll, you know, I'll get rid of older ones and, you know, because sometimes brands, they roll out like a T shirt and then it gets popular and then to, like, make money, they start changing little things about the T shirt and the shirt gets cheaper. You're like, yeah, y' all effed it up now. So I'm going into this Cozy Earth. Was it called the all day tea? Yeah, here it is. All day T. First thing that popped up. There we go. It looks. It's got a good neckline. Ooh, hold up. Let me see the silhouettes. Mean, mean silhouette. I'm big on a silhouette.
Louis
You always need a good basic.
Ebro Darden
Oh, look, look, look, look, look. It even has the seam on the side. That's how you know it's a real good one. You see that, Laura? The side seam where it's not just like a. Like they actually contoured it to the body to fit as good Ebro.
Laura Rosenberg
Are you more. Do you think you're more hooked on the white tee than I'm currently hooked on the summer knit, man, You.
Ebro Darden
The summer knit you're in.
Laura Rosenberg
No. Natalie went crazy the other day for my birthday. She went to the same spot that we always go.
Ibrahim
Okay.
Laura Rosenberg
It's an outlet, by the way, so everything's pretty cheap. And she just. I swear to God, she bought every last knit I hadn't already bought everyone. She was like, yeah, I looked at that, considered it, looked at it, considered it. I'm really all the way in with the summer.
Ebro Darden
Well, because I also think you're feeling like I could rock these in the fall.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, that's. That to me is the angle. It's like, yeah, I'm taking these definitely up till I need at least. Yeah, at least. October I like it. The summer knit energy's happening. Shouts to Cozy Earth, though. Head over to cozy Earth.
Ebro Darden
I'm buying. I'm buying. You guys, I'm gonna buy.
Louis
He's really buying it right now.
Laura Rosenberg
Bro, you're really extreme.
Ebro Darden
Why? They got an all men's all day tee.
Laura Rosenberg
I love what you're doing.
Ebro Darden
I'm gonna get a black and I'm gonna get a white.
Laura Rosenberg
All right, try them both out right
Ebro Darden
now because, you know. Oh, wow. What out of. Yo, the blacks are out of style. What's really good?
Louis
Someone beat you to it. Someone copped all of them.
Ebro Darden
Wait a minute. Stone heather. That's a nice color with stone heather.
Louis
All right, all right, all right.
Ebro Darden
Hang on.
Louis
Use our code, man. 20 off is clean.
Ebro Darden
Let's get to the gurus. Hey, yo, it's time for the Gurus. Rosenberg.
Laura Rosenberg
Laura, you know, you are a beautiful queen.
Ebro Darden
Ebro. Don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru. No, that's how I know these shirts is John Blaze. You know how I know? Right now I'm buying a Cozy Earth white. It says only 8 left. That means they make a specific amount because they know they're giants. Super eaters.
Louis
All right, why are you laughing?
Laura Rosenberg
Because all I have is a quick congrats right now. Send your emails right now to The Guru TheOriginal GuruSmail.com TheOriginalGurus Gmail.com Peter Rosenberg, please hit yourself with the button.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, talk to us. You played yourself.
Laura Rosenberg
Go back and read the first line of my email. It reads, hi, my name is Bob Do. But if you are to pick this email, please make up a name or don't use it because I want to stay anonymous. But since you decided to use that. AI bull ish. To summarize my email, you outed me, son. My real name is Bob Doe.
Ebro Darden
Oh no. You thought it was a fake?
Laura Rosenberg
I thought it was a play on John Doe. Me too. It sounded like a made up name. We all thought that was the made up name. My guy, poor Bob. So he said, my real name is Bob Doe, he said, or at least that's my artist name. I make music in Denver. Luckily, my identity being in the story wasn't important. I was actually trying to save theirs. Haha. Anyways, thank you for reading my email. And check out my latest song. At least for playing yourself. So we have to check out Bob Doe from Denver's music.
Ebro Darden
Bob Doe. All right, here we go.
Louis
Sorry.
Laura Rosenberg
Damn, my bad. Hit me with the button too.
Ebro Darden
How do you spell in Doe Doe?
Laura Rosenberg
I think it's D O E. Okay, okay, okay.
Louis
We're looking at Bob Doe.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, you're actually.
Ebro Darden
There's a Bob Doe here. Okay, I found it. Is the song single no Time.
Laura Rosenberg
Let me see what he sent me. The one. The one that he sent me is called no Time. Yep.
Ebro Darden
All right, here we go.
Laura Rosenberg
Bob Doe.
Louis
Man shouts to Bob Doe.
Ebro Darden
Sorry, Bob doe.
Laura Rosenberg
My bad, Bob. That's AI's fault. That's why you shouldn't trust AI.
Theo Von
Empathy gone, can't drink hardcore lost his whole team Wake up.
Laura Rosenberg
Wake up.
Rahsaan
Okay.
Laura Rosenberg
Wake up, Wake up.
Theo Von
I don't know what you've been on but we been getting paid I ain't tripping Cause I really like the A But I can't let you throw no sweat up on my name Things change Ain't a stranger to the game Hate
Ebro Darden
Bob and throw shame they hate Bob.
Theo Von
Feels great Tell a nigga eating Cause a nigga gained weight what can I say? I like K. You look comfy being broke we not the same Hell nah, real life Tell me what it feels like Stuck on the Internet it feels like we can't see the lies what it feel like? What a time to be alive what it feels like? Almost trying to pick a side what it feels like I can't let it slide what it feels like that's what it feels like I can't let it slide what it feels like right? I can't let it slide Tell me how you feel don't make me wait I don't have no time for the fake all right.
Laura Rosenberg
What do you think, bro?
Ebro Darden
I'm waiting for it to go somewhere I don't go nowhere it's cool.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, hit you with it it's cool, it's cool. You got the. Sweetie.
Ebro Darden
I'll give you this I give him this. I give him this. I give him. I. I hear like there's some good hooks in there. That might be his strength. His strength might be hooks.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah. I don't hate the hook.
Ebro Darden
The hooks. The hooks might be something.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
But I don't feel like the song actually, once the.
Laura Rosenberg
Once it starts, it basically just stays alone.
Ebro Darden
I also really.
Louis
Denver rap.
Ebro Darden
Okay, wait, don't do that.
Laura Rosenberg
And by the way, Denver's a great rap town. I can't name any rappers from Denver.
Ebro Darden
No, they gotta. They got a dope hip, but they
Laura Rosenberg
have a dope scene, though, for sure.
Ebro Darden
And I say this Bob, though, too. Work on your voice. Like, you sound like you could be a lot of different artists, and that's one of the Things like, look, everybody, look. You can. You can have a tremendous success. Bob Doe. Being you and moving around Denver and doing shows and building your fan base, you could have tremendous success, but over time. And by the way, when I say voice, I don't just mean perspective. I mean the actual texture of your sound.
Louis
Some people like it in the chat.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah, that wasn't bad. Stop, stop, stop. It's like. It's like money to invest when you keep saying it's cool, it's cool over and over again. We know what you mean. We've seen the videos.
Ebro Darden
No, no, but I thought Saweetie that day. It was cool. It was cool. It wasn't great. It wasn't. It wasn't good, right?
Laura Rosenberg
It was cool. It was cool.
Ebro Darden
I'm not. When I say it's cool, I'm not. If I thought it was bad, I would say that ain't it.
Laura Rosenberg
That's fair. That's fair. That's fair.
Ebro Darden
Cool is like not school. It's cool school.
Laura Rosenberg
That was really good feedback. That's the music guru. He ended up getting feedback whether he asked for it or not. Thank you, Bob Doe.
Ebro Darden
Bob. Do appreciate you, my G. Let's go. Get out of here. Outro time. That was a Show. Monday show. LeBron James is going to the Philadelphia 76.
Laura Rosenberg
Can you believe it Ain't that bad A.
Ebro Darden
He really wants to send the Eastern Conference into a tailspin, doesn't it?
Laura Rosenberg
Well, I. I think. Think he wanted a place where he could win a championship. I think he wanted someplace where it would be exciting because him going to Miami or Cleveland, let's be honest, wouldn't have gotten nearly the talk. This got. Well, this got way more chatter.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a bigger market and they haven't
Laura Rosenberg
won in almost as long as the Knicks 83. It's still a long time.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Laura Rosenberg
So. And they could win. And. And they already put pieces in play. I mean, that's why he went. He's not going to Philly. Respectfully, if. Jesus. Jalen Brown, isn't it Phil?
Ebro Darden
We took a minimum. Took league.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, he wants to go now.
Theo Von
What?
Ebro Darden
Wait, time out. We'll do the intro again. Outro or outro again? Why do you think LeBron is still playing in your mind? Somebody with as much as he's achieved. What do you think the real motivation right now?
Laura Rosenberg
Because what are. What are. Why are you still on?
Ebro Darden
I haven't figured that out. And once I figure it out, it
Laura Rosenberg
may change, but I think it's similar. I think It's. This is what I do. It's what I've done since I was a baby.
Ebro Darden
Right.
Laura Rosenberg
And what am I doing after this? Yeah, I like doing the other stuff. LeBron is no longer a top five player, but he's absolutely a top 25 player. So why would you not want to contribute? If you could be among the 25 best players in the world still and maybe be the piece that leads a team to a championship, why would you rush retirement?
Ebro Darden
And there is a piece, too. I could say this for the old heads. There is a piece where you want to get up every morning and do something.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Right. Just going to sit down and do nothing is not an option.
Ibrahim
Right.
Ebro Darden
Like, because that's how you literally start to, like, lose your mind. Like, both. Like, dementia. Like, your body stops working when you stop being active. Like, when you stop having goals to achieve and things you want to work on your body.
Laura Rosenberg
Other things. The. The. The. You know, producing the film, the telling. I'm sure it's all cool. It's. It's like that song for you.
Ebro Darden
It's cool.
Laura Rosenberg
It's cool. But he sat there. LeBron went to the Jay Z shows and was there, like, super into it and be like, damn, it's so cool. Hov gets to go do this. And, yo, in basketball, once you're done, there's no. Like, you come back five years later.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, you become a coach, maybe, or you become.
Laura Rosenberg
Maybe.
Ebro Darden
But you can't.
Laura Rosenberg
You can't even do what Serena's doing, where you just come back, like, hey, I'm gonna give it a shot. I get to go be in the tournament. I might lose. I might win one. You don't get to do that. So why would you rush out the door?
Ebro Darden
Especially if you're healthy.
Laura Rosenberg
He's healthy, and he's still good, and,
Ebro Darden
you know, this season, he'll be a lot of us. So I went and looked at the assist leaders. He can become number two assist leader this year. He could beat Chris Paul.
Laura Rosenberg
That's crazy.
Ebro Darden
I think he's like. Like, was it 300 assists from Chris Paul?
Laura Rosenberg
That's. That's. That's.
Ebro Darden
I think it was the number I saw. I got to go, because I doubt
Laura Rosenberg
it's that, but it's. No, it's something.
Ebro Darden
But he is. He loves. He loves a marker on a stat sheet.
Laura Rosenberg
Sure. And he has a lot of them, so to.
Ebro Darden
To. To.
Laura Rosenberg
500 behind.
Ebro Darden
500 behind Chris Paul.
Laura Rosenberg
He has to jump Jason Kid and
Ebro Darden
Chris Paul, and he'll be number two, catching John Stockton is like 1500, right. It's crazy.
Nick Fuentes
15,000. Yeah.
Ebro Darden
No, no, no. Behind. He's behind them by. He's behind 3,000, 3,000. Behind John Stockton. Not getting that. But he could be the number one all time scoring leader.
Laura Rosenberg
Y.
Ebro Darden
Number two all time assists.
Laura Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
When this is done, potentially get a another championship run. He doesn't have to be the leading scorer on this team. He could get assists all night.
Laura Rosenberg
He truly gets to sit back on this team and just be what he needs to be and help bring them like their identity has completely changed. They're a brand new team and he gets to help now be a part of what that identity is how we practice how. And this is a team. They haven't been able to take that
Ebro Darden
step and he gets to live in New York City if he wants.
Laura Rosenberg
Well, I think he's going. The word is he's going to.
Ebro Darden
I don't love LeBron's gonna take a helicopter to work. I don't love that headline for obvious reasons which.
Laura Rosenberg
Oh, I hear you. But by the way, also he doesn't have to do.
Ebro Darden
No, he doesn't. But that was one of the headlines I saw.
Laura Rosenberg
But like you know how easily though that you just have a driver drives. It's not that big a deal. Couple hours you stretch out and you get on your phone and you do some stuff and you could do back and forth. Not a big deal. So it's. Honestly, it's exciting like as. As a Celtics fan who hates the Jalen Brown.
Ebro Darden
Maybe he'll. Maybe he'll get like a big. A big like ranch. Yo, LeBron. You could buy mad land in like central Jersey on a lake somewhere, you know, I mean and have like a big.
Laura Rosenberg
I think that defeats the purpose though. He wants to be in Manhattan.
Ebro Darden
Got it to be, you know, it's
Laura Rosenberg
nice, you know, a guy if he's interested.
Ebro Darden
Nice.
Laura Rosenberg
No, it's nice you have an option even just the other side of the bridge or tunnel makes it a little
Ebro Darden
easier, you know, I mean.
Laura Rosenberg
All right. Yeah. Maybe we should get Kyle Kuzma on the show if he wants to talk politics. So much chit chat.
Ebro Darden
You want to have Kyle Kuzma?
Laura Rosenberg
Why not? I didn't know he was so into things. I don't.
Ebro Darden
From what he wrote, it doesn't seem like he's that into it.
Laura Rosenberg
But I went looked at his page. Oh, he's got. He's got. He's got thoughts on everything.
Ebro Darden
Really? Like what?
Laura Rosenberg
Just saw more different, you know, political, cultural, socio. Economic, you know.
Ebro Darden
Well, I'LL leave this with Kyle Kuzma. You're critiquing Mom. Donnie, While the president of the United States is currently who we have, are you critiquing that individual the same way? Because that person is truly, truly, truly.
Laura Rosenberg
Everything you wrote about cosplaying not really qualified. Everything. Everything you said, the actual president, United States. But you're just focused on the mayor
Ebro Darden
of New York, so I'll leave that with you. Coos.
Laura Rosenberg
You were mean, though.
Ebro Darden
First it should be known.
Laura Rosenberg
You know what? I take it back.
Nick Fuentes
I'm sorry.
Ebro Darden
Just don't call it a podcast.
Rosenberg vs Kyle Kuzma + WHO Will Be The Next Dem Candidate

The hosts, Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg, also address online hate-mongers, the challenges of social media algorithms, and the struggle for substance in modern media. The episode’s through-line is the tension between substance and spectacle—in politics, pop culture, and personal feuds.

“If ain't nobody going to jail… you have nothing.” (Ebro, 12:43)

This episode is a quintessential slice of The Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg Show: mixing real talk about politics, media, race, and pop culture, with insider knowledge and irreverent humor. The show’s value lies in its honest, sometimes messy, engagement with current events—and its ongoing effort to cut through the noise of the algorithmic age.
