Just don't call it a podcast. The Eberg. Let's go, man. Let's get it cracking. As we get closer to the weekend. It's Ebro and Laura and Rosenberg. And we are La Ro. Yo, do you guys think yo chat. Do we need like an intro where I go, that's Laura. And then she goes, that's Peter. And then you go, that's Ebro. And I go, we're the Ebro Laura Rosenberg show. We do it all in unison.
Peter Rosenberg
I'm here to respond on behalf of the chat. I know we're not always in lockstep chat, but I think we're in lockstep on this.
Ebro Darden
I think they might want it. It feels very K popish.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, no, I think it would be like. It would just be this though. It would be. You go, I'm Ebro. And I'm Laura. And I'm Rosenberg. And then together we go and we're the ELR show. That's it.
Ebro Darden
But not all the names.
Peter Rosenberg
No, but like, I'm Beyonce. I'm latavia. I'm latoya. I'm Kelly. And we're Destiny's Child. Oh, my God, that's right. Playing the hits with our boy pmd.
Ebro Darden
But Kelly don't like you, so don't play.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, I have the drop though. But Beyonce was the main voice on the drop that I have.
Ebro Darden
And what it said.
Peter Rosenberg
They didn't say all their names. They just went what's up? In unison. What's up? We're Destiny's Child. And then Beyonce jumps in and goes, paying the bills with our boy. PMD from Dusk Till Dawn.
Ebro Darden
Peter from Maryland. Pmd.
Peter Rosenberg
Or maybe Kelly says that part. Then Beyonce's like, keep it locked.
Ebro Darden
Yup. What's going on with your relationship with Kelly Rowland?
Peter Rosenberg
We have not spoken.
Ebro Darden
Okay. Have you reached out?
Peter Rosenberg
I did at the time. I sent multiple apologies through the angles I had, which was nothing. DM or whatever. And that's it. Then I moved on my life.
Ebro Darden
Do you maintain in the Kelly Rowland debacle with Rosenberg.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. That this is really a throwback?
Ebro Darden
No, it is. Oh, yeah. It caused people maybe to go do some research. Do you maintain that.
Peter Rosenberg
You don't have to do that.
Ebro Darden
Do you maintain that the question was asked badly, but the premise was fine, and then it was exacerbated by social media?
Peter Rosenberg
Yes. It was a clumsy question that I'm embarrassed to say. I think I probably even asked previously. Like, I probably had asked her a version of it before. That's the part I realized. I think I probably had said something similar before. And she might have already found it annoying once. And then it's like, years pass, I forget. And I know you've done this too.
Ebro Darden
Do it all the time.
Peter Rosenberg
Seven years later, you're doing an interview again. You know, it's like, you know, it'll be interesting. Yeah. Like, well, I've already asked you this. And they remember, like, mother, you've asked me.
Ebro Darden
I'm sure it happens every interview I do.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. No, you're Ebro. Just hoping to get the person's name right. But.
Ebro Darden
Yep.
Peter Rosenberg
So it was a clumsy, bad question by me. We were totally cool after it happened. Totally cool. Like, chatty.
Ebro Darden
Well. Cause she's a professional. But deep down inside, she could have
Peter Rosenberg
been simmering chatty and friendly. Because, listen, I'm not an idiot. A lot of the comments were like, yo, Kelly Rowland was reading Rosenberg and he didn't even know. I'm like, no, I knew. I was kind of like, oh. And then we were really cool. And then when social media made it a thing, I think she just, you know, obviously accepted the praise that people were giving her. And it ended up just being like a dump on Rosenberg Fest. But those happen. And all you can do is say sorry and keep it moving.
Laura Stylez
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Now there's gonna be a lot on Rosenberg today.
Peter Rosenberg
What? Why?
Ebro Darden
Because, Laura, he feels vindicated, this guy.
Laura Stylez
This is dumb.
Peter Rosenberg
I didn't say I feel vindicated.
Laura Stylez
I'm even Annoyed that we're still talking about this, but go ahead.
Ebro Darden
It's only been a week still.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. Laura, we gotta have our new also. I want a little bit of credit. I want a little bit of credit. I actually had a WWEDD W. Wait, hang on.
Ebro Darden
W, E, D, W. Say it again. WW EDD what would. Ebro
Laura Stylez
do?
Ebro Darden
Didn't do. I don't know.
Peter Rosenberg
What's your last name?
Ebro Darden
Oh. What would Ebro Darden do?
Laura Stylez
I didn't think of the Darden.
Peter Rosenberg
You are a word I'm not allowed to use.
Ebro Darden
No, go ahead.
Peter Rosenberg
I'm not allowed.
Ebro Darden
An idiot. No.
Peter Rosenberg
Okay, there you go. I don't wanna say moron. And send Doc.
Ebro Darden
Wait, wait, wait. You don't wanna do name calling?
Peter Rosenberg
I don't wanna do name calling.
Laura Stylez
Go ahead.
Peter Rosenberg
And by that, I mean I wasn't really ever that upset by the whole thing. I thought it was a good conversation as we're building a new thing.
Ebro Darden
That's my guy, right? Listen, that's why he makes the big bucks right there. Nobody really gave up.
Peter Rosenberg
No, but I made it a whole day, and I didn't even want to make it about anyone else. I switched the conversation for me. Anything about over there to about me and being a New Yorker. And that conversation, so. But the Rosenthals, the great. It's the real guys. Eric and Jeff was popping two Jews, three black dudes. They asked, by the way, they're from New York. They are from New York. They have a live show coming up soon. They're like, yo, can we come by?
Ebro Darden
Absolutely.
Peter Rosenberg
I was like, 100%. You're going to have to bring chairs and microphones for you guys. And the locks.
Ebro Darden
Wait, how many people?
Peter Rosenberg
There's five people.
Laura Stylez
That's a lot.
Ebro Darden
Oh, we can't host five.
Peter Rosenberg
I said, not yet, but soon we'll figure out. We got plans.
Ebro Darden
No, no, no, no. You. So chat subscribers, everybody. What we'll do is we'll have all of them on two microphones, five people on one side of the room, and then we're over here.
Peter Rosenberg
It's not a great look, but let's try it anyway.
Ebro Darden
Let's see what was, you know, I mean, push the studio to the limit.
Peter Rosenberg
We could also do, like, a couple of them in person. A couple people on tv.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
Anyways, they hit me up. Shouts to those guys. The podcast is great. And they said, oh, Joe Budden and Mark Lamont Hill were defending you today in your conversation.
Ebro Darden
Defending you, Rosenberg.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, let's hear it.
Ebro Darden
Just got exiled from here and now you just Took the slot over, and now you're sitting here saying, oh, it feels good to hear New York again. So what you're trying to say was, in New York when I was here, you've been in New York. There's no way for that to not look like that. It's still a dig. Yo. Sorry. It's still a dig. No matter how you look at it. Even if it wasn't intended, that's a dig. It's not your first time in New York in 15 years. So you're speaking to the Times. You've been in New York, and it ain't sound like New York. Go ahead. Does this conversation happen if Rosenberg still at high? Like, if. No, and I don't, obviously, in the sense of, like, if he had said, like, I wish New York radio sounded like new. In other words, does Rosemary ignore this if they're not repositioning for the new. With the new gig and, you know, with the new platform and all this stuff they're doing, which I like, you know, is this also, like, seize this moment. Was it overreaction for them? I don't think so. I think. I think he took it as a dig and was rightful. What did we say when they.
Peter Rosenberg
No, Mark is correct. I was doing it because of the new gig I was doing. Mark knows me well. It was promo. Appeared to be hiring a bunch of people from out of town to replace Rosenberg and them on the radio show. What was the general consensus? Fight.
Ebro Darden
We ain't seen them two Atlanta comedians, where they was from. We ain't seen them. Atlanta, they all like Saturdays. Do y' all notice real quick that there's a lot of. Now that Ebro numbers off the radio, a lot of people are, like, on them a little bit. Yeah, it was. It wasn't on them before when it was. I mean, I've seen it, but it's a lot more now that's quiet. They were gatekeepers and stuff. They call EO gatekeeper and stuff like that. I don't know. You guys know the logistics and ins and outs of the radio.
Peter Rosenberg
I just.
Ebro Darden
It's kind of.
Peter Rosenberg
They're all doing great, so I, I, I.
Ebro Darden
It's corny to try to on them while EO E. I like the changes you making to your show in real time. I like the set. I like the graphics. I like the topics. I like what you got going on over there.
Peter Rosenberg
It's a great show.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to Ebro, Peter and. And. And. And Lore.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. So look. Told you guys, never have. You never Doubted me. I knew you never doubted me. N Shouts to. Shouts to Joe and Squad.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, it was good stuff.
Laura Stylez
Especially Mark Lamont Hill.
Peter Rosenberg
He always holds it down for us.
Laura Stylez
Supportive of us.
Ebro Darden
Well, and I gotta say, for Queen's Flip too. Yeah, no, People was tight. Listen, man, everybody wants their song to get play. People never liked me in that position from the day I walked in the door.
Peter Rosenberg
It from md you mean from music
Ebro Darden
director to program director to VP of programming, there was always a he ain't from New York.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, and then. And then you're on the.
Ebro Darden
And by the way, this is how ridiculous it is. As if it didn't behoove me to do what's best for the audience tuned in so the ratings could be great.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, but you know, that's not how people view those things.
Ebro Darden
But that's because they're idiots.
Peter Rosenberg
No, well, that's not.
Ebro Darden
They're moron.
Peter Rosenberg
No, no, no. It's because historically, radio does annoying stuff sometimes. Plays one record a million times.
Ebro Darden
No, no, no, no. For sure. All those things. But no, but I'm just talking about making sure that the listeners tune in. If what we were doing at HOT wasn't great for all those years, I would have been out the door way faster, bro.
Laura Stylez
Anytime anybody asks me that, I always say this. Let's picture this, right? You're in your car, you listen to your favorite song, you're jamming, and then something comes on that you don't know. What are you going to do?
Peter Rosenberg
Change the station?
Laura Stylez
Hello.
Peter Rosenberg
So it's always hard.
Laura Stylez
That's why it's a gamble.
Peter Rosenberg
But. But the funny part is this.
Ebro Darden
And you're just speaking of new music. I'm talking about just embracing the city and doing all those things and playing the records that the city is out in the clubs partying to see. Because the music community, right, rappers actually think that radio stations and DJs are in business to support them and their interests, right?
Peter Rosenberg
You're supposed. They will say that like, yo, you're in. Yo, but you're Hot 97. You're supposed to blah, blah. It's like, no, they're supposed to make money sales, is supposed to deliver, to advertise.
Ebro Darden
Hello, we're in business to get ratings and sell advertising.
Laura Stylez
And then you have Rosenberg, who dedicated a complete show to it that none
Ebro Darden
of y' all supported.
Peter Rosenberg
Not really. That was. The crazy thing is like, I kind of get you guys hating Ebro because he was the boss and seen as the gatekeeper. Yeah, the me part, it's just people saying they don't like how I look and sound in my name because I never or I had an opinion. You heard one day that you're white.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, you're white. And you shouldn't even have an opinion on black music or black artists or in black spaces. Well.
Peter Rosenberg
And a lot of people don't remember this, and I'll give Ebro credit for it, too, for discovering me in Washington. Before me, respectfully, there wasn't another me. There wasn't another, like. In fact, even to this day, there's not a lot of super, like, white guy who does hip hop stuff and not only plays the records quietly, but is like, no, I have really strong opinions about it. And sometimes they're gonna annoy people, but sometimes they're really informed and kind of useful. That didn't exist.
Ebro Darden
There was a Stretch Armstrong as a dj.
Peter Rosenberg
He didn't talk like that.
Ebro Darden
Not a talker. Bobby Condors. Not a talker. Not opinionated. And then the guys.
Peter Rosenberg
Legends.
Ebro Darden
Absolutely legends. But by the way. By the way. And I want to. This is a challenge to all of y' all out there. The white guys that y' all watch the most, spend the most time with and talk about the most, they embraced the most lowest common denominator garbage of the culture.
Peter Rosenberg
Correct.
Ebro Darden
But y' all cool with them. But the guy who wants to embrace intelligence, lyricism, craftsmanship, artistry, you got a problem with him?
Peter Rosenberg
The guy who's most known for championing Kendrick Lamar from the very beginning. The first champion of Kendrick Lamar on a big stage.
Ebro Darden
See, but this is where you go too far. I had already bigged you up. Now you're a big ass.
Peter Rosenberg
No, you're right.
Ebro Darden
This is why.
Peter Rosenberg
No, you did good. That was good. That's enough. But it's true. They all.
Laura Stylez
Yeah, but the majority.
Peter Rosenberg
No.
Laura Stylez
And they love to regurgitate talking points that the Internet does like. The same ish with Ebro program director, mind you, he hasn't been there in a decade. In those seats.
Peter Rosenberg
Right.
Laura Stylez
The same thing. You don't. What pisses me off the most. You guys have never done anything for our community.
Ebro Darden
What?
Peter Rosenberg
We're vultures. All we're doing is what? Eating? We're eating.
Ebro Darden
We're just.
Laura Stylez
Ebro brought acs, bought ACS with his own money for New York City listeners when our own damn station wouldn't.
Peter Rosenberg
And God forbid you win one now. You might not get it. And when I say might, I mean definitely.
Ebro Darden
Well, I think the other piece is more an indictment of who. And by the way, this is all of us, who we are culturally, that we are always consumed. The music we like, the stuff we like to watch, a lot of it is garbage. The food we eat, we consume. A lot of garbage. We do.
Peter Rosenberg
And when you try to force feed people some vegetables, you're not the most popular person.
Ebro Darden
You're not.
Peter Rosenberg
Aiden Ross is the most popular. Aiden Ross is like the most influential white dude to ever sort of quote, unquote, be near hip hop. Because he's not a hip hop head, but who uses hip hop for his game, is as hot as can be. No knowledge, no love, no care, no interest in any of it. Just a means to an end, to get rich. And y' all want to talk about it all day long. Shouts to Rory, by the way, who I didn't mention this conversation, but Rory, of course, who I love, who has respect for the culture and treats me like an og, like he understands. So I came along the nuances of it.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, shout out to Rory and Ma.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, Rory and Ma. We're talking about you this week too.
Ebro Darden
Well, yeah, because I.
Peter Rosenberg
What'd you do?
Laura Stylez
What happened?
Ebro Darden
So I get fed up sometimes.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, we see that. And piece of paper on the wall. You don't mind?
Ebro Darden
You know what? Let's just watch the clip. Here's one of you, Ebro. This might be one of the wildest clips I've seen this month. Some of y' all don't deserve a opinion because you haven't been doing this professionally. What are you doing consuming, playing and critiquing hip hop as your life? You're just a fan. I think that people talk with a certain level of certainty. They don't have no idea what the fuck they talking about. And in that regard, I gotta agree with him. Because I'm a rapper, I've been on the road, I'm a songwriter, I'm friends with these artists. I know what happened in the studio, why this song didn't come out, et cetera. You have people that, respectfully, you work at FedEx, you go get your hair cut in the barbershop and you talk with this level of certainty about things you have no idea about. Most people are driving their kids to school, going to and from work, and are there to just listen to the music and have every right to critique the entire thing. For sure. I'm not saying Ebro was wrong. It was just in the way he said it was such entitlement where he doesn't realize we are the least important part of this entire process. We as in who? The critiquers? The Media people, the commenters that are on these microphones, we are the least important out of this whole process. Matter of fact, Ebro was more important when he was a program director and was able to play certain records for artists. The two most important people in this group is the artist number one and then the consumer that's listening to it and buying it. Right. Because a lot of times people in front of microphones will start listening to records they'd never listen to. They're only doing it to critique. Right. They're not a consumer. Well, and shout to Rory on that. Because the fans are important and the artists are important.
Peter Rosenberg
I agree with them that they're the most important.
Ebro Darden
They are the most important in a world. And I'm just put this out there in a world where there are one hundred and something thousand songs coming out every day.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. Uploaded every day to the streamers.
Ebro Darden
Those of us who are talking about music are helping the people who don't have time to find it. Find it. But on that point, if all I was doing was critiquing songs and talking about it, there is a part of that conversation, for better or for worse, that is helping the audience watching right now. Go, let me go listen for myself. I never even heard that was out. Oh, hey, what are they talking about? So not as important as the artist.
Peter Rosenberg
Nah. But you're just. You're just fine. More than you even need to, though, because your point remains regardless. The main point you made was, was that people speak with a matter of certainty that they need to hear my voice. And they never played records. They never showed any more involvement than being kind of a casual. Y' all are. You just used a mean word. You were like.
Ebro Darden
Would you say, oh, I said, you're cut. Well, they the real full clip. I was like, yo, fucking customer.
Peter Rosenberg
By the way, that was hard for Apple.
Ebro Darden
You were kind of.
Peter Rosenberg
That was kind of hard for Apple fan.
Ebro Darden
I kind of go, you guys should watch rap live for.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, I watched my Listen.
Laura Stylez
You definitely gotten spicier, though.
Ebro Darden
Cause it was, you know, I have my days. I have my days.
Laura Stylez
I just like to say it was mild.
Peter Rosenberg
I just like to say what my wife and manager say to me in this era that I'm currently living in. Chill, bro.
Ebro Darden
Well, keep everything copacetic right now. I got news for you.
Peter Rosenberg
Keep it clean.
Ebro Darden
If I'm doing that on music, we're in a good space.
Peter Rosenberg
Facts.
Ebro Darden
That's just about music, right?
Peter Rosenberg
That's all you talk about. There's music. But your point is still correct. I Don't. And I think Rory knows that it was a good, provocative conversation. But the fact is everyone has a right to an opinion. But. But, like, listen, we're not different than any other people who love music, except for the fact that we worked our asses off and made music our life in order to get to a point where we could have an opportunity to speak into a microphone and share our opinions that required work and commitment and love. And now you could literally be like, hey, have you heard this new album? Oh, that's pretty cool. Let me tell the whole world about my opinion. That's not the same thing. Not all voices are the exact same.
Ebro Darden
I think also, and you guys notice, most people also don't know that some of my lifelong friends are some of the most, well, you know, well regarded, highly regarded, and well renowned songwriters and producers in the hip hop and R B space of all time.
Laura Stylez
Yeah, I don't think people know that.
Ebro Darden
People don't know that. So I've been in these rooms. I know how the records get made. I know what sound, what vibrations, what frequencies go with what. It's just not my profession. I. I don't. That's not what I pursued, but I know how it happens. Some of the greatest. Right. And that's why I have relationships with these people, because they know. I speak from a place of really knowing not just what the charts are. Right. But how the actual record got made, from the musicians to the songwriting to the mixing to the engineering. Right. Like, they know. And I've had these conversations privately with them, but those conversations aren't what I have in public. So most of my conversations are critiquing, gossipy, arguing about today's topics.
Peter Rosenberg
Right. Well, because that's not what your show is. You could host a show.
Ebro Darden
Absolutely.
Peter Rosenberg
If you wanted to. Is really nerdy about, like, music making with artists.
Ebro Darden
But. But also I. That another piece of that convo that I want to make sure people understand is that was about hip hop classic albums. So that was extrapolated from a larger convo about hip hop classic albums because of the Drake combo. Right. And the reason that was happening, and I said that in the Drake convo, was specifically for a lot of fans out there. Once again, we've been covering this for multiple weeks who are just fans of an artist. You're not fans of the culture. You haven't really been studying hip hop. You haven't really been listening to it that long. You don't have a macro view or kind of like a historical understanding of the ins and Outs of why certain things happen or whatever. By the way, fine, as a fan, but when we start talking about classic hip hop albums, those things were determined by journalists, DJs, producers, other MCs, executives at labels. There wasn't social media. When we all said Illmatic was a classic album, that wasn't like a collective decision amongst people commenting on. That was done by people who are actually in this.
Laura Stylez
And. And what got the conversation going was Ms. Info's five mic ratings.
Ebro Darden
A journalist.
Laura Stylez
A journalist.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, who worked hard to get that opportunity to write about it. And back to that, to put a bow on it. The Drake music conversation is where this started.
Ebro Darden
Yes.
Peter Rosenberg
And that was one thing I saw in the comments is they were like, you guys just don't know Drake's classic is blank. And then the next person said, drake's classic is blank. I'm like, no, y' all are still missing it. You don't.
Ebro Darden
Y' all don't even know what. What is y' all saying?
Peter Rosenberg
There's no way it's in the lexicon as a certified classic. If his fan base can't agree for sure what that classic is. These records we're talking about, they're not all my favorite albums, but the culture decided overall these are considered, then there are other ones. Right? Like, for example, I could. Me and Ebro might agree. I might tell you, yo, Diamond D's Stunts, Blunts and hip hop is a classic.
Ebro Darden
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
And it is to me.
Ebro Darden
It's to me also.
Peter Rosenberg
But I don't.
Ebro Darden
I wish I could play Day in the Life of Three black Men.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, man. But I don't know that it's in the lexicon as agreed upon by everyone because it was a niche album for a certain kind of fan. But there are some records that just go beyond that. Your low end theories, your Midnight Marauders, your equimanized, they're just there.
Ebro Darden
So now you understand why I was talking greasy.
Peter Rosenberg
Yes, it knows. Well deserved. I supported the greasiness because if you
Ebro Darden
just look at that clip, you think I'm just lambasting fans of hip hop. No, this was about deciding what hip hop classics were.
Peter Rosenberg
Is it. I think it's lamb based. And I always say lambast. I'm pretty sure it's lamb based. It is lamb based.
Ebro Darden
Cause you baste the lamb. You baste the lamb.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't know, but like basting like a. I think it could be. But Laura, I remind real quick.
Ebro Darden
Congratulations. I played.
Peter Rosenberg
I forgot to mention this to you guys. It's gonna mess you guys up when you do the rundown. I have a lowdown. I have a lowdown story. A story of criminality related to my own.
Ebro Darden
Whoa, world.
Peter Rosenberg
That's when I read y' all this story.
Ebro Darden
Is it breaking news? Because, you know, I have a new breaking news thing I'm really excited to play.
Peter Rosenberg
Let's hear it.
Ebro Darden
Here we go.
Laura Stylez
But don't do it yet.
Ebro Darden
Groovy old school tv. You don't like that?
Peter Rosenberg
Well, I've got breaking news, folks.
Ebro Darden
How's it going?
Laura Stylez
I like it.
Peter Rosenberg
It's like a little bit of a bop. It's like I kind of am. Like, who has breaking news? Do you?
Ebro Darden
Well, do your tease again. Do your tease again. Tell us what?
Peter Rosenberg
Coming up in the lowdown, Peter Rosenberg gets into a story of criminality, mischief and outright negligence that harmed many. A price is being paid. You'll find out by who and for how long in the lowdown. I don't know if that's what you.
Ebro Darden
I was looking for an out. I was trying to figure out. I saw a hat.
Laura Stylez
That damn harp.
Ebro Darden
No, those chimes come through on clothes. Don't play with those chimes. You know what I mean? Ladies and gentlemen, we need the El army to activate. Today, Just Thrive has landed on the Ebro Laura Rosenberg show. Just Thrive probiotics. Most products never make it to your gut alive. And that's why they don't work now, Laura.
Laura Stylez
Yes.
Ebro Darden
Talk to them about these probiotics.
Laura Stylez
Let me tell you, change my life. You know, my stomach's always been all over the place. The girl makes fun of me constantly. Rosenberg, you're a bit nicer.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, but it is annoying.
Laura Stylez
But it's a thing. And when I started taking probiotics, boom. I felt like everything was balanced in there. So.
Ebro Darden
So I got some questions.
Laura Stylez
Okay.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. Bubble guts often. No.
Laura Stylez
Yes, sometimes.
Peter Rosenberg
Bubble guts. Bubble, bubble, bubble guts.
Laura Stylez
Sometimes.
Ebro Darden
All right. Our indigestion, like burping and this business,
Peter Rosenberg
like acid reflux, general queasiness, everything is a.
Laura Stylez

Ebro Darden
No.
Laura Stylez
There's a lot of people who can't take pills, so they have gummies.
Ebro Darden

Laura Stylez
Boom.
Peter Rosenberg

Ebro Darden
So I already do gummies in the morning, so I'm add this to my rotation. And my wife at home, she's like, Laura. Where everything. Literally every day, everything. My stomach. Maybe I shouldn't have. It's. I don't even know how they live like that.
Peter Rosenberg

Ebro Darden
Let's get to the rundown. Laura got the rundown. Turn that up. Screens on glow when she pulls up. Headlines heavy, but we still caught up. Light still flashing. We don't slow up.
Laura Stylez
All right, well, this got a little messy, guys. So a couple days ago, you know, in the it is what it is podcast with Cameron and Mace, okay, there was an episode where Shine was a guest, and they started talking about a love triangle that they once had back in the day. Mace and Shine.
Ebro Darden
Oh, that.
Laura Stylez
They didn't know they were dating the same person. All right, check this out.
Ebro Darden
Set off. Yeah. What happened with Brandy and everything? Let's just do it. Listen. Let's do it. Who's dealing with Brandi? Okay, let me switch my glasses. You know what happened? There was this. You was dating Brandy at one time or y' all was just. How'd it go? I was special. You know, he came in and wanted to be special, so, yo, I had to let him be special. I mean, no lies told. He was Shaq, okay? He was the champion. He was the mvp. I was Kobe. No pun intended. Cause they said Kobe was a special friend of Brandy's as well. But no pun intended, but I was coming out of high school on the championship team, and he was the superstar of the team. But I definitely did want to be special. I definitely. But I had no idea. So what happened is we had a mutual friend who was a snitch, okay? So I think he know who it is. I'm not gonna expose him, but. So I was so excited because this is my dream person, right? Talk about Brandi. Brandi. Poor kid. Brooklyn watching mtv, watching Moesha, watching her on bet. And, you know, as a dream, I'm like, man, if I Ever. If she. If she was the no shot. I got that right. So when I came up, she was in the crosshairs. Like, you know, I was sniping, right? And. Yeah, I had no idea, though, because he was. He was special, right? So he was running that. That playbook so discreetly, so quietly. I had no idea. Yeah, he's sneaky. He was an ultra sniper. But I was so excited. So I kept telling one of our mutual friends, and he was snitching me out, and then. So Brandy was like, yo, who you told you hit?
Laura Stylez
Oh, man.
Ebro Darden
Good old story.
Peter Rosenberg
Chat chat, chatty chat. Brandy was sitting around minding her business yesterday, and all of a sudden, chitty chat, chat, chat, chat. But that was interesting.
Laura Stylez
All this chitty chat from 1998, all of a sudden.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, listen, Mace was sitting on top of the world. You know what I'm saying?
Ebro Darden
Don't ever forget. He was. Mace was popping. Sean had his moment. He didn't know. Listen, that's. But by the way, that story right there, it's interesting because it's a music business, right? It's entertainment. There's a thousand people watching right now that have, like, you know, met a girl or something and found out that they was dating the homie or used to date the homie or whatever. That's like.
Peter Rosenberg
You didn't even catch my reference, though, did you?
Ebro Darden
Well, what was it again? Tell me.
Peter Rosenberg
Mace was sitting on top of the world. He was.
Ebro Darden
We got it. You did get it. On top of the world.
Peter Rosenberg
And Mace, he was on the record.
Ebro Darden
He was on the song.
Peter Rosenberg
And I'm guessing that's where they. You know.
Ebro Darden
Anyway, maybe that was why he was on the song.
Peter Rosenberg
Possible because she was saying, I hit you with the sound that the world can't. You know, Mace was in his bag back then. Late. Everyone loved it. Yo, look, Mace had a moment.
Laura Stylez
I have more. Oh, I have more.
Ebro Darden
Wow.
Laura Stylez
Yeah. And this. It's getting low down. Ish. I'm thinking we should go there and then you can.
Ebro Darden
Yo, is this a rare double lowdown? Hey, now. Yeah.
Laura Stylez
Because things got messy with that. Yes.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh.
Ebro Darden
Oh, wow.
Laura Stylez
There's a response.
Ebro Darden
Oh, no. I was about to. To shout out Brandi, too. That's the homie.
Laura Stylez
Just wait, my friend.
Ebro Darden
Like, yo, people chat. Things happen, man. Everybody got pads.
Laura Stylez
Just wait, my friend. Because there was a response from her brother.
Ebro Darden
Oh, of course there was. All three of y' all is like the Three Stooges, and y' all looking real attractive. So when I see y', all, y' all Better not have that skirt on. Wait, what? Y' all better pull y' all panties up. You know what I'm saying? For real. I don't know what you're saying. I see y'. All. I know where y' all at. Three Stooges. I know where y' all at. Y' all be slipping too. In Vegas, walking around the wind, acting like y' all winning. Get some money and have to do 5,000 shows.
Laura Stylez
It was more, but I think. Yeah, we just. It just.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't.
Ebro Darden
Wait, hang on. Why the three don't even spend time on it? So Ray J. Yo, Ray J. We need to have Ray J on the show.
Peter Rosenberg
What? You sure?
Ebro Darden
Chat. Should we have Ray J on the show? Because I gotta ask him about the eyes bleeding. We don't talked about it multiple times. Trolling. Now he's doing this whole skit. We might have to just have motion.
Peter Rosenberg
I just want to know how you went from. Y' all look like the Three Stooges, so you need to pull your skirts up.
Ebro Darden
Well, I don't know why you're spending time on that. It doesn't make any sense. And I don't know why he's grabbing.
Peter Rosenberg
He knows the Three Stooges or I
Ebro Darden
don't know why he's grabbing himself on camera like that as if he's gonna sexually assault someone.
Peter Rosenberg
That's the whole thing was a set up for sexual assault.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. And I don't even know why he was doing that. I don't know. That's why I said I need to have more. I don't know what is happening, by the way.
Peter Rosenberg
Ray J needs to chill. He just. I would show.
Ebro Darden
I really don't know what is happening.
Peter Rosenberg
No, no.
Ebro Darden
Chill or not chill. Why?
Peter Rosenberg
I would say chill.
Ebro Darden
Why are you threatening sexual assault and on.
Peter Rosenberg
On Camp and. And Maze. I don't want to do it. Their names are Killa and Murder. Folks don't do it. I know, but I would want to
Ebro Darden
know why I got to sexual assault and pulling up skirts.
Laura Stylez
So, yeah, that's where we're at right now, guys.
Peter Rosenberg
I. By the way, I can't describe what Shines vibe is to me like, I love aging Shine. Like politician, Jewish, older Shine. He like. I love the vibe. I can't quite pinpoint what it is.
Ebro Darden
It's like, well, he's gonna come on the show.
Peter Rosenberg
We're having Shine on soon.
Ebro Darden
Shine's on the show he's doing because he's doing an anniversary show. Is it 20 years? 20 years. First album at King's theater.
Laura Stylez
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
All right, great. I look forward to it.
Ebro Darden
So he'll be on the show, so you can ask him.
Peter Rosenberg
I look forward to this.
Ebro Darden
Now, Rosenberg, you got a low down also.
Peter Rosenberg
I got a low down, folks, I hadn't mentioned this to you, but it's
Ebro Darden
time for the low down with Laura Sty.
Peter Rosenberg
This came out earlier this week. Owners and CEO of Wholesale Pharmaceutical Company sentenced for distributing more than $92 million of black market HIV drugs. I just want you guys to think about how bad this is.
Ebro Darden
Say that again. Say that.
Laura Stylez
Okay, say it again.
Peter Rosenberg
You're two owners of a pharmaceutical wholesale company were sentenced Friday to a total of three 38 years in prison for orchestrating a complex nationwide drug diversion scheme that harmed vulnerable HIV positive patients, placed countless others at risk and corrupted the supply chain for prescription drugs in the United States. Patrick and Charles Boyd. Charlie did not just commit fraud and cost taxpayers millions of dollars. They preyed upon some of the most vulnerable members of our society. HIV patients who depend on life saving treatments to manage their disease. That's assistant attorney general A. Tyson Duva of the justice department's criminal division. Fraud schemes like this undermine the integrity of our supply chain for necessary prescription drugs. Guys, they were taking fake drugs, wrong drugs and expired drugs, repurposing them as HIV drugs and selling them to pharmacies to the tune of $92 million. And I went to high school with both these mfers partied at their house. It says Patrick and Charles of Easton, Maryland. They ain't from Easton, Maryland. They are from Montgomery County.
Laura Stylez
Disgusting. You know, this affects babies to full adults.
Peter Rosenberg
They are yo. And here's it gave me insight.
Ebro Darden
So you went to school with some criminal now?
Peter Rosenberg
So it gave me insight about who becomes this kind of person.
Ebro Darden
Because Pat, you know them from young.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah. And Pat and Charlie were both. It's very. I want to see if I can get you guys to understand this, but I'm not sure I can convey it. Well, you ever have anyone you partied with in high school that you had like good moments with them? And because they were popular and because they're on the football team and they party with everybody. A lot of people knew them. You go to a party at their house. But on like a. On like a deeper level, you just didn't f. With them. Like they were in. They were around. There was no tons of people they were around. And I've been to their house on multiple occasions and they now they've been to my. Well, not Charlie, but Pat's definitely been to my house a couple of times.
Ebro Darden
And we had twins as well.
Peter Rosenberg
No, they were three years apart, actually, because Charlie was two years younger than me and Pat's a year older than me. Pat dated one of my close friends when she broke up with my best friend, one of my best best friends. And we were all like, oh, God, you're dating him. Like, he's fine, but he's a douche. Like, what are you doing? He's like, they were always. They weren't rich, but they were those white boys who had like, you know, black friends on the football team. But then I'd hear them being racist around other people, but the black kids come to their house and party or. But then I'd see them being racist with their white boyfriends. You know what I mean? Like, they were that kind of people. Neither of them the sharpest tool in the shed ever. Neither of them got good grades. Neither of them were particularly smart. It's just fascinating that they would go on to be this level of criminal. Like, this is some of the worst criminal ish. I've ever heard of. What's more immoral than this?
Ebro Darden
I mean, immoral maybe, but not the worst criminal issue you ever heard of. I mean, it's on the level.
Peter Rosenberg
They're on the level, though. These kind of people end up in the current administration, right? Like, this is on the level.
Laura Stylez
This got a lot of people killed. I'm sure.
Peter Rosenberg
I'm sure people died, if not like at that moment where they couldn't be charged with murder, but it could have led to other health complications. One person alleged in the article. One person testified, I should say that because of being on the wrong drug, they were trying to get HIV medicine. And instead they were on some sort of psycho tropic drug.
Ebro Darden
Oh, no.
Peter Rosenberg
And ended up completely unconscious for 24 hours. Like they were giving people the wrong drugs who were sick, man.
Laura Stylez
Yes.
Peter Rosenberg
Like HIV is now a drug. An illness that thank God you people you can live with if you're on the right medicine. And they were mess.
Ebro Darden
Well, also too. You got a fat. Yeah, it's low. It's. It's. It's. It's degenerate behavior and it's terrible. It's very bad. You know anyone who committed worse crime, like murder, rape? I don't know anybody committed rape, but
Peter Rosenberg
murder, you know murder. You know a murder?
Ebro Darden
Yes, for sure.
Peter Rosenberg
I don't know this. I need to know the murder story. This could be worse because this is discriminate. I'm just gonna let people maybe die.
Laura Stylez
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Is this Worse than selling personal beef.
Laura Stylez
I'm with you.
Ebro Darden
No, but is this worse than selling drugs that you know is killing a whole community?
Peter Rosenberg
It's similar.
Laura Stylez
It's up there, but this is very specific to people who are already suffering.
Ebro Darden
My family, people in my family were some of America's biggest drug kingpins.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, listen, that's. That's a big drug kingpin. Yes, we're in the same conversation. Not like a random dude, street hand to hand, you know what I'm saying? But this.
Ebro Darden
Yeah. And if you don't believe me, shout out to my family. I love my family, everybody. But we had a lot of drug dealers. Rudolph Henderson.
Laura Stylez
Too much.
Ebro Darden
You can look them up. Oakland.
Peter Rosenberg
Like bad stuff.
Ebro Darden
I mean, he was selling crack in the 80s.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
You know.
Peter Rosenberg
No, listen, listen. All bad. It's all really bad. I just. I couldn't. I couldn't believe. And I also recently found out there's another kid who I went to middle school with, he didn't go to our high school, who ended up 20 years after the fact. This guy, Eugene Glegor, they ended up convicting him 20 years after the fact for killing his ex girlfriend's mother.
Ebro Darden
His ex girlfriend.
Peter Rosenberg
So in his 20s, when I already didn't know him, but in his 20s, he murdered his girlfriend's mother. No one knew how the lady was killed. And then 20 years later, evidence came out and they found. It's just crazy when you found out
Ebro Darden
the people you knew, you were kids with guys. Everybody knows criminals. I don't care what your tax bracket is. I don't care what neighborhood you live in. I don't care if you think you're living in some elegant suburbia, wherever the hell you are. There's some criminality taking place for sure at some level somewhere that's like the guy, you know, the, the. Remember the guy that killed the seven women in Long Island. You know that story about the beat? What is it? Those trials are about to start here in New York.
Peter Rosenberg
That's just starting.
Ebro Darden
That's. The trials are just starting. Right.
Laura Stylez
That's how long it takes.
Ebro Darden
That's how long it takes to get going. And you know, everybody. You know when that happened, remember? Oh, it just looked like a normal family. Everybody runs. I can't believe now your man was murdering people and burying them in the beach. So I'm not. You're shocked because you know, people who did something crazy.
Peter Rosenberg
It's the level of evil that is.
Ebro Darden
Well, I think it's.
Peter Rosenberg
It's like if they were. You know what I'm saying it's the level of people who are already sick. You mess with their medicine.
Ebro Darden
That wasn't what they were thinking about. That's not what they were thinking.
Laura Stylez
But that's the problem.
Ebro Darden
That's the problem they weren't thinking about. So what do you think?
Peter Rosenberg
The logic? They were thinking we were mixing around some drugs.
Ebro Darden
No, no, no. We're selling things that aren't being sold so that we can make money.
Peter Rosenberg
Right. Not thinking at the end it's gonna end up in someone's medicine cabinet.
Ebro Darden
Well, they probably at some point knew that, but at the end of the day, they were like, yo, we got a scam going, yo. There's these expired drugs and things that are just not being used. We repackage them, bottle them, and sell them to the pharmacy.
Peter Rosenberg
You have a button over there.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, this one. Congratulations.
Peter Rosenberg
My friend was telling me, because it's fed time, it's minimal. It's guaranteed 75%. They're in jail until their 60s, guaranteed. There's no. No getting out.
Ebro Darden
And whatever money they made, they got to pay it back.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, you're not keeping the money from the.
Ebro Darden
No. Some people try to stack. I mean, that's the play, right? They're gonna try to stash some money with somebody. Couple million over here, a couple million over there gifted to somebody. Somebody stashes somewhere in wherever and just wait. Invested by an asset. Do something.
Laura Stylez
When they start really investigating anyone who took the drug from that pharmacy that received it from this person who potentially got affected by. You know what I mean? All of that's going to start coming out crazy.
Ebro Darden
Super chat was popping, you know what I'm saying? And also to everybody out there watching this, make sure you hit the hype button after the show's over. If you're watching this later on, whenever you're tuned in, hit the hype button. King Louie says it does nothing, but I know we were on some sort of chart because y' all hit the hype button so much. So that's something.
Peter Rosenberg
Now, Ebro, we. I want to make sure we don't get through today without you playing some of the Trump clips we haven't gotten to this week.
Ebro Darden
Do we have those? Rah. Trump talking Cuba and Trump talking about some dude who had some turmo, some senator who was about to die.
Peter Rosenberg
Let's see. You want to do Cuba first?
Ebro Darden
Do. I don't. I don't know if Rasan has him.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, I thought you had it on the sheet.
Ebro Darden
No, I don't know if it's on the sheet. I said I would like to do it, but nobody, Nothing happened after that. That's why I wasn't going to go.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you, I thought you meant it, that it was already there and we hadn't got to it yet, got
Ebro Darden
sent over or put on the sheet. So he may not have it. I know it was put in the chats. Lou put it in the chat. I'll go back and re rehash it for you.
Peter Rosenberg
But we don't have that there. Oh, you have, you have. All right, we have this. How about just Trump being an a hole? Let's go to 14.
Ebro Darden
Gavin Newscom has admitted that he is a. That he has learning disabilities. Honestly, I'm all for people with learning disabilities, but not for my president. I don't want, I think a president should, should not have learning disabilities. Okay. And I know it's highly controversial to say such a horrible thing. The President of the United States, Gavin Newscomb, admitted that he has learning disabilities, dyslexia. Everything about him is dumb.
Peter Rosenberg
You couldn't even hold it. You couldn't even hold it.
Ebro Darden
Everything about him is dumb. Yo, I can't, I, I can't just watch Trump clips all the time and actually take him serious. No, and I know you enjoy it because it still triggers you sometimes. You, you want some things. I'm only watching for comedy now. Like, I, I. The people who are out on him and know that he's a bad guy, I think most of them are out. There's some people still working on that with their parents and all of the stupid. I see some podcasters calling their moms, their older moms wearing MAGA hats, and they're, like, telling them the actual news versus what their mom believes and having, like, these debates. Fine. Work on it with your family.
Peter Rosenberg
Cool.
Ebro Darden
We'll see. We'll see when you get here. But other than that, it's all just comedy and unseriousness. Right. Even the the Proof of life videos with Netanyahu. They're joking about mass murder, bro.
Peter Rosenberg
Yep. Goofing off about who's getting picked off on the list, who's getting blown up, what's getting blown up. But I just think this is interesting, too. Just like Trump, in an effort to distract and talk about things that don't matter and attack a political opponent, decided to take a dump on everyone with dyslexia and people with learning disabilities.
Laura Stylez
Of course.
Peter Rosenberg
Yo, you realize what kind of.
Ebro Darden
No. He said he's all for people with learning disabilities, but you should not for
Peter Rosenberg
president, but dyslexia should prevent you from being president.
Laura Stylez
What about dementia?
Peter Rosenberg
Yo, my man.
Ebro Darden
What about doo dooing on yourself? Incontinence.
Peter Rosenberg
Because dementia. Even people with dementia would say, yeah, if you have severe dementia, you probably shouldn't be President of the United States. It's probably not a good idea because you can't keep track of what's going on. Dyslexia would have no impact on how you're able to govern people. Here's my question. Did he get Gavin Newscomb from Nikki?
Laura Stylez
Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
So, like, that's.
Ebro Darden
Well, that's his peoples.
Laura Stylez
At least. At least I. She was the one that I first saw in her tweets. Right?
Peter Rosenberg
Yo, the name calling. I'll tell you one thing about the right and name calling.
Ebro Darden
You have no room to talk about name calling. You, sir, have zero space.
Peter Rosenberg
I call Don legreco a moron. Yo, they love to come up with a name for the people they hate, though, bro. That's all they do.
Laura Stylez
It's funny and they know people.
Ebro Darden
It's entertaining.
Peter Rosenberg
It's newsome. But we call him New Scum. Get it? Because of Scum. But his name's Newsome. News Scum.
Ebro Darden
I thought it was pretty good.
Peter Rosenberg
Did you?
Ebro Darden
New Scum.
Peter Rosenberg
It doesn't even sound like scum.
Ebro Darden
New Scum.
Peter Rosenberg
It doesn't even. It just changes his name to Newscom. I started back. Oh, is his name Gabby?
Ebro Darden
Bascom Newscomb? Yo, I don't.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, I don't feel any way about it, yo. Baskin shook his head.
Ebro Darden
No, no, don't do that. Don't do that.
Peter Rosenberg
I think we got one Bascom Newscup.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, I'm saying. But not like scum. I'm saying scum. Scum like scum. Like your last name is Bascom. It's not Bas. Scum. You're not a scum.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, hold on, hold on, hold on. You literally used to call him Boscumbag.
Laura Stylez
You forgot about that?
Ebro Darden
No, no, I didn't. I didn't know anybody was gonna bring it up. I thought. I thought I had up.
Peter Rosenberg
When he was outside, we would call him Boscumbag for sure.
Ebro Darden
He's not that person anymore.
Peter Rosenberg
No, he's changed. He's converted.
Ebro Darden
This was before four children and before Islam.
Peter Rosenberg
Way before.
Ebro Darden
That's how long we known him.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, was years ago.
Ebro Darden
And by the way, that was last week.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it was not. It was like. How many years? How many years ago, bastard?
Ebro Darden
10 years.
Peter Rosenberg
Over 10.
Ebro Darden
No, he had four kids in a week and became Muslim. No, it was no, but real talk. Sidebar. Everybody watching. There was a day where Rahsaan walked in and was Muslim.
Peter Rosenberg
No.
Ebro Darden
We were like, what? You're what? He's like, yeah, I converted up. We were like, wait, you was wasted last week?
Peter Rosenberg
No, we had never seen it.
Ebro Darden
I just saw you winding it up, smoking a blunt. And he found the way.
Laura Stylez
He found the way.
Ebro Darden
Oh, he found a way. Oh, yeah. And he cut his hair. That's right. Came in with a koofie on and hitting his prayers.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it was. We never seen anything like it before.
Ebro Darden
We were shot. It took us a good six months to get a grasp.
Peter Rosenberg
And yet he's still. And. And, you know, he's hanging on because he still loves boss scumbag tv.
Ebro Darden
Oh, he loves scumbag tv.
Laura Stylez
Ratchet TV show.
Peter Rosenberg
What. What ratchet show you watching right now?
Ebro Darden
Bad Girls, Phoenix.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, he's too busy with the baby.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, they got a new baby in the house. Congrats again on that. Rahsaan on the new baby. Yay.
Laura Stylez
Rah.
Ebro Darden
Now, listen, I better not be cooking. I don't want anybody watching this wondering why Rahsaan's already back at work and hasn't taken paternity leave. I ain't got nothing to do with it.
Peter Rosenberg
No, we never seen anything like we trained someone else to do it.
Ebro Darden
Trained someone? Bro still showed up because y' all in the chat was bigging up Joe for his camera editing.
Peter Rosenberg
Is that true?
Ebro Darden
Yeah, absolutely. They were.
Peter Rosenberg
Nah, Lou, they tried to come for Bascom.
Ebro Darden
No, they were just bigging up Joe.
Peter Rosenberg
I've been. I've been. I know what it feels like, Bascom,
Ebro Darden
but he's a New Yorker.
Peter Rosenberg
Facts.
Ebro Darden
Yo, let's get to the gurus. Hey, yo. It's time for the gurus. Rosenberg. Laura, you know, you are a beautiful queen. Ebro. Don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru.
Laura Stylez
Hey, the original gurusmail.com. the original gurusmail.guru. where the gurus unite, shine the light, burn the sage.
Ebro Darden
Ebro, Zen, Zen.
Laura Stylez
All right, Rosenmore. Who's writing to us? Who needs our help?
Peter Rosenberg
So many people are in need of the gurus. Helps. Help. That is not helps. You send your message to us at the original gurus at gmail dot com.
Ebro Darden
When you said helps, I couldn't help but think of Eric Adams and all he's had Ebros. And then I couldn't help but giggle that Eric Adams was actually mayor.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it happened. It was crazy.
Ebro Darden
It happened. That was crazy, Tom.
Peter Rosenberg
And I still haven't Heard back from
Ebro Darden
mom and I can't. I. In fact he was in the back of barber shops string Hennessy and going to hookah. Like we stopped and processed it.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it's crazy. If he had just been. If he just hadn't done like the making the rich richer and like doing all the trap basically being just a Republican in sheep's clothing. If he hadn't done that, I really would have enjoyed laughing at how funny he was. He had a shorty out in Rockaway.
Ebro Darden
His side piece. Put out a book.
Peter Rosenberg
Nah, he had a lot, man. He ruined it though. Could have been fun. But now we haven't heard from mom Donnie this week.
Ebro Darden
But it's just like Trump Mom, Dadams. Trump could be fun if he wasn't out here just committing mass murder and getting us in wars.
Peter Rosenberg
Making the.
Ebro Darden
And being ridiculous and having a whole COVID 19 site. That's a complete propaganda. Did you see that? The lab leak? Did I send that? We'll get to that.
Peter Rosenberg
It's crazy.
Laura Stylez
All right.
Ebro Darden
All right, back to the positivity. All right.
Peter Rosenberg
The original gurusmail.com ebro don't ever play yourself. Calid voice I have a question. My wife and I have been married for over 10 years and have gone through a million ups and downs. We have three children and through prayer, patience, therapy and friendship, we have found a great understanding. We are finally on the street. Same page for the most part. She's still the boss, I guess. My question is we have found villages in the past that help us and provided counsel and we found it important to do so for others. But honestly, I am kind of done as there is no magic pill to fix issues. And although we have stress therapy, there is always a reason why they don't or haven't yet. Peter's the only one married legally, I believe, but it doesn't matter. As Lauren Ebro have long term relationships. Do you all have help to. Do you all provide help to friends during tough times or stay the f out of it? Wedlocked and loaded. So is he saying he's sick of helping other people?
Ebro Darden
That's what it sounds like.
Peter Rosenberg
That's what it sounds like.
Ebro Darden
I'm actually doing it to multiple individuals right now that I've been friends with.
Peter Rosenberg
Really? I'm not.
Ebro Darden
I'm one's a. One's a husband and wife scenario and they both text me about how much problem.
Peter Rosenberg
You got a button over there.
Ebro Darden
Congratulations. You played yourself. Yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
You don't need that. No one needs that.
Ebro Darden
Congratulations.
Peter Rosenberg
So you do. So you counsel People.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, but I'm telling them to get therapy.
Peter Rosenberg
Your counseling is you should go to someone who can help you with this.
Ebro Darden
Yeah, you should. Guys need to see a professional. But then also, just, like, on some. Being honest with them, like, you're holding on the baggage. And why you bringing up old ish? And if you haven't gotten over the old ish, you should go see a professional about getting over the O ish. And, like, managing those triggers. And, like, why are you doing that? And you know, you're doing this because of that type stuff.
Peter Rosenberg
Laura, are you in the.
Laura Stylez
I'm kind of like, it's 50. 50. There's some people who I just don't want to get involved with because I know that they're not gonna listen. So I choose to separate myself. And then there's people that, yeah, if they hit me, I will. I will talk to them. But I just try to have, like, a healthy space between us. Do you understand what I'm saying? Because I don't want to be blamed for things. I've been blamed before. I do not want to get blamed. So I'll just say how I feel. But a lot of times I say, you should probably see a professional.
Ebro Darden
So one of my friends screwed up a long time ago. Cheating scandal.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
I got the phone call from. From the wife about the cheating.
Peter Rosenberg
Hit the button.
Ebro Darden
I didn't know about the scandal. Congratulations. But I got to call on, like, yo, do you know this lady? I was like, I've never seen that lady before in my life. This is years ago, though.
Peter Rosenberg
Okay?
Ebro Darden
My buddy who screwed up, they have two daughters. And I told him, I was like, yo, you're gonna have to keep showing up for these daughters, whether you like it or not. Just keep getting dirt kicked in your face. Your lady moved. You gotta fly there. You gotta do things. You're gonna have to take the L, bro. That's what it is.
Peter Rosenberg
Just one last time. I just want to.
Ebro Darden
Congratulations. And so that was my advice. Now that's coming to kind of an end now because the kids are getting older and, you know.
Peter Rosenberg
Or do they stay together?
Ebro Darden
I don't know what they did, but he kept showing up. Okay. I don't know. Whatever y' all call it, if you live together, if you don't, you're staying over there. Sometimes he's staying. I don't know what was going. I wasn't in the weeds, and to Laura's point, wasn't getting in the weeds, because I know both of y', all, but you screwed up. For whatever reasons you screwed up. Go get therapy for whatever those reasons were.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah.
Ebro Darden
Validate me coming soon nonetheless. Y' all got two kids. You as the dad, you gotta keep doing this here.
Peter Rosenberg
Yep.
Ebro Darden
With the other one. I done told them to break up multiple times. I'm tired of y' all texting me. You know what y' all need to do? Break up. Y' all kids is older anyway. Break up. Stop texting me.
Peter Rosenberg
I've had enough.
Ebro Darden
Stop. Break up then.
Laura Stylez
Yeah, because, like, when me. When you continue doing the same thing. Stop bringing up the same. Stop texting me. Stop calling me about the same thing if you're not gonna listen.
Ebro Darden
Multiple times I've told him, you know, people break up all the time. It happens all the time.
Peter Rosenberg
No, it's.
Ebro Darden
Why are y' all acting like y' all break up? Y' all are in different rooms. Why is your breakup special?
Peter Rosenberg
Also, this isn't interesting anymore. Just from. Just realistically. You can't keep bringing people the same problem repeating.
Laura Stylez
It's boring after a while.
Peter Rosenberg
That's what your family. Your immediate family's there to hear you, like, complain about the same thing forever. And that's what you're literally. That is a rare thing where family's different than friends.
Ebro Darden
Well, no, I'm not that family.
Peter Rosenberg
Because you're. No, no, that's what I'm saying. No, you're a friend, your mom.
Ebro Darden
You're not that family for my family.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, no, no, I see what you're saying.
Laura Stylez
I'm kind of waiting. Ebro.
Peter Rosenberg
No, I hear you, but, like, with your. With your. With your sibling who's going through something, they may repeat the same bull issue over and over again, but you're literally their sibling. And you hear them. You're like, damn, that's tough, man. But even at a certain point, then you're gonna go, see.
Ebro Darden
But you're a great sibling. You're a great sibling. I think you're different.
Laura Stylez
Didn't you go through this last year or six months?
Peter Rosenberg
Well, I've never had that, though, where it's literally just the repeat of the same of the same of the same. Like, at some point. I don't know. Yeah, maybe I would say, hey, bro, you're gonna keep telling me the same thing over and over again. It's time to move on. So, yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe even family is not good. The point is, you're right. You can't keep boring people with the same issue over and over. Life's too short. And what's the point of Ebro or this person doing the work in their own relationship to have a good time if they have to be dragged into someone else's ballway show.
Ebro Darden
Oh, by the way, by the way. Had to cut somebody out about that. Showed up to a thing. We having vibes. Me and my lady having a good time. They want to talk about. I don't. And y' all listen. If you guys think I am abrasive on the program, I talk crazy in real life to my friends. Will be on the phone with friends. Like, nobody want to hear this. I'm getting off the phone. You sound ridiculous. Oh, by the way, you're in my house. I don't want to talk to you about this. Shut up.
Peter Rosenberg
You make a choice. It's my house. This is truly your or.
Ebro Darden
Or. I'm having a good time. Not interested in your problems. These are people I love and care about. I'm very, very honest with them. I respect it, and I encourage everybody else to do the same.
Peter Rosenberg
So we feel you. So, yeah, you could tap out, buddy. You don't have to keep doing this. So say the Goobers. How about that Fire?
Ebro Darden
I just want to say, man. Joe Button, you know, Mark Lamont, Hill, Ice Queens flip, the whole team. Rory and Maul. What other shows are covering? Academics. Big coverage from academics this week. Big, big promo.
Peter Rosenberg
Did he go back at you after you entered him?
Ebro Darden
I didn't look.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh. Because that line you had on him was crazy.
Ebro Darden
What? Evidence. We're doing evidence.
Peter Rosenberg
No, when you hit him with seems drunk and sad and crashing out and pathetic. And we were like, whoa. And you're like, what? What? Was that a thing, people?
Ebro Darden
No, because that's what people say. I was just.
Laura Stylez

Ebro Darden
Yo, did we ever get the clip of Trump putting that dead dude or about to die? Senator's business.
Peter Rosenberg
Out here we have it.
Ebro Darden
I just need to watch it on the way out, guys. I just need. On the way out.
Peter Rosenberg
All right?
Ebro Darden
Please, please, you guys be patient with me. You got it. I'll bring the. The outro back up. Let me see. He would be dead by June. Okay, that wasn't public, but yeah.
Peter Rosenberg
Okay.
Ebro Darden
Looked like he wasn't going to make it. I don't know. I don't. I won't mention his name.
Peter Rosenberg
That's really it, though.
Ebro Darden
Do other people know his name? Do you want to mention it? He'll be proud. Go ahead, tell them the story. Okay.
Peter Rosenberg
Well, thank you, Mr. President.
Ebro Darden
Congressman Neil Dunn of Florida had had some real health challenges and it was very serious and had had a pretty grim diagnosis. And I mentioned it to the president and I said, congressman Dunn is a real champion and a patriot because he's still coming to work. And if others got this diagnosis, they would be apt to go home and retire. What was the diagnosis? Putting all his business out. It won't stop. Terminal diagnosis. He would be dead by June.
Peter Rosenberg
Yo, stop.
Ebro Darden
It was great.
Laura Stylez
And just laughing.
Peter Rosenberg
Outro.
Ebro Darden
Yo, yo, listen. That's good stuff. He'd be dead by June.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, you can see the levels of psychosis. There's just levels for this. Like Mike Johnson, bad guy. Capable, though, of being like my man. You can't.
Laura Stylez
I know.
Ebro Darden
Pam Bondi, cracking up, thinks it's hilarious sitting next to Mike Johnson. That's the attorney general. They are putting someone's health information, private health information, just out to the world.
Peter Rosenberg
He'd be dead by June. Crazy.
Ebro Darden
But by the way, it was all too big up himself.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, yeah, because, well, he would vote for him. And I got him a doctor. Yeah, he. He kept voting for me, so I like him.
Ebro Darden
King.
Peter Rosenberg
Oh, yeah.
Ebro Darden
They made him stay because he was dying.
Peter Rosenberg
Yeah, he was worried about losing the seat, so they.
Ebro Darden
But they also got him a doctor. And he's not dead by June.
Peter Rosenberg
We saved him. So I can get the votes.
Ebro Darden
Yo, we got another show tomorrow. The Friday show. Family Friday. Fat Friday.
Peter Rosenberg
That's right.
Ebro Darden
Next week I'm gonna press Laura for these new T shirts.
Laura Stylez
Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Ebro Darden
So get ready.
Peter Rosenberg
