Just don't call it a podcast.
B
Hey, good morning, everyone. Happy Monday. Welcome back.
A
How you doing? Hi, how are you?
B
I'm okay. I'm not gonna front. I'm a little tired this Monday. I don't know, just, you know, Mondays. The Mondays.
A
Got a case of the Mondays. Yeah, I got tremendous sleep last night. My best sleep of the weekend. That's wonderful. Yeah. Don't know why. Knocked out like easily and then didn't wake up until like 6am for the first time.
B
Wow. Congrats.
A
Now listen, it's hard being old and washed. We wake up at random times. You know, the baby makes a noise, bear start. Starts tick, tick, tick, tick around the room, whatever it is. Last night, home free. We're still battling the sickness in the house. That has been annoying because after I was sick again last week, Natalie and the baby got it from me and then they kind of both surpassed me. And so Natalie had like more than I had and then she kind of gave it back to me. That's what's weird about this year's sickness. Is it this winter? It feels like it goes back around in the same house. I'm like, I already had it. Why am I getting this from you again?
B
I know it's a ping pong thing, but just wait till your kid starts going to like. No, I don't want to daycare classes. Oh, man. It's just like a big stew of germs.
A
Everyone keeps talking about it. I will say I had the experience this weekend. Maybe, maybe this will make it for family Friday this week. I brought Maya to the park on Saturday.
B
Okay.
A
And we. We have not done. Done a ton of like Maya at the park yet. You know, she's a year and she'll be a year and three months, but we haven't done a lot of that. I know some people probably do it sooner. I don't know. I don't actually. I don't know what the hell people do.
B
Yeah, it's fine.
A
So I brought her and it was a busy day Saturday. It was like, pretty nice. Yeah, It's Riverside Park. Good crowd out there. I don't know the decorum of the park. Like, I don't know. And my baby so little and I'm so nervous about it still that I just hover. I walked with her the entire time.
B
I never supposed to do. Yeah, yeah.
A
At that age you're supposed to.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
At 1 years old. I'm not letting her go play with people on her own.
B
You. You can let her play, but you'll be right there watching. You never know what she's going to pick up and put in her mouth.
A
No, she's that little, like.
B
Yeah.
A
Now the second I put this kid down, Laura, though, and this is the part that's so crazy and gets me emotional. It's. It's Sprint City. Like I put her down and she's gone. She just wants to go to the park and be gone. And so I'm like chasing after her. She fell once, she spilled once on the concrete. Thank God she caught herself with her hands or it would have been busted nose. But yeah, I think it went fine. I just don't like, know what to do. Cuz, like, she's so little that like her even playing with three year olds, they're way too big for her. Like everybody's kind of too big for her.
B
You're doing the right thing.
A
So I just hover. I was just a helicopter dad. I was just running with her.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're doing the right thing. That's what you're supposed to do at this point.
A
We survived though.
B
So you're good.
A
You're good. Yeah. Now, Laura, I heard through the rumor mill, I didn't know this was happening. You had a big TV appearance on Friday. So let's. I want to see what's going. By the way, Ebro, as you can tell, is off today. Ebro is in. Well, as you know, things have not gone well for Ebro, so he is staying at a shelter and the shelter he's at does not have wifi. So he will not be with us today. No, Ebro's and I think la. Yeah, I think he's in la back in la. He's gonna be on this week in different capacities, but not this morning live. So we do have though is Laura and Sharifah from Envision Fest on Good Day New York. This past Friday, its prom season and a special community program is making dreams come true for hundreds of young ladies.
B
And Vision's third annual prom drive is
A
designed to provide girls across New York City with access to prom essentials. The event takes place April 26th at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. And this morning we are joined by Envision's co founders, Sharifa Murdoch and Laura Stacy.
B
So last year we dressed over 200 young women, we work with after school programs, NYC Homeless Youth. We do open calls for public school teachers who know that they have students in need. And our dream is to just continue pushing it forward. I came from these programs. My prom dress was donated.
A
So if people at home Want to
B
help out right now?
A
What can we do?
B
So you could follow us at Envision Fest, envsn Fest on Instagram, and link on the bio where you can donate. We have a local donation drop off at the Brooklyn Circus on Canal Street. Okay. And then you could also, like, drop a little 5, 10, $15 in our gift butter link.
A
Why not?
B
Yes. We're a 501C3, so it's all going to a great cause. I will say a big shout out to Aerie and the Aerie Foundation. They're providing not only intimates, a photo booth. So the girls, when they're trying on the dresses out of our bed, they can have. They can just take pictures of their best self. So they've been an incredible partner. And Elf Cosmetics donated makeup this year, so the girls can walk away with little cute bags of makeup for their special day. Or.
A
Sharifa, thank you so much.
B
Thank you.
A
Oh, now, I presume Sharifah got a chance to talk.
B
Yes. It's a way longer clip. The whole thing was like maybe, I want to say like 10, 15 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes, because we had a whole little Runway show, so. Yes, yes. That's just like a short clip where we got right to the point. But I'm very proud of it. Yes. The Envision Foundation, Envision Festival.
A
It's feeling up for Envision Fest. It's feeling up to me.
B
I listen. The festival itself is going down later on in the year, so you could just go to the website to get all the information. But right now, our. Our big focus is our prom drive. So last year, we dressed 200 girls. Rosenberg.
A
It's pretty awesome.
B
Yeah. You know, prom is expensive. Every girl deserves to feel great on their special day.
A
And that's right.
B
And I. I don't even know if you've seen the price tags on some of these dresses.
A
I can guess, Bruh.
B
They're like 500 and up.
A
Yeah, I would imagine that.
B
So this helps a lot. So I'm very proud of the work that we do. And we work with NYC homeless youth. So if you're a public school teacher and you have students that need, please shoot me a dm. Laurastiles, I will do my best to connect you, but that's for people who wonder what else does Laura does? This is what I do.
A
That's. This takes up a lot of Laura's time. Now, do you. Would it be helpful in any way if maybe they're. Maybe there are kids who don't have a father in their life and they need someone when Prom night comes to. Just come down the stairs, see what they're saying and say, oh, hell no. Cause I. Even though I only have a one year old, I'm already feeling. I'm already feeling I could give the oh, hell no vibes.
B
Listen, God bless. Cause you'll get there one day and it's gonna be one of those.
A
Well, anyways, that is awesome, Laura.
B
Thank you. Thank you.
A
So I'm excited for our vision. Now a lot happened this week. There's a lot of political stuff to get to. We're get to some of that in a bit.
B
Yeah.
A
Some of the more important stuff, however, Ebro did send us something funny yesterday in the chat that I had not seen. This would be number eight. Bascom. This is Drizzy Drake. This is the boy.
B
Oh my God.
A
Apparently the boy.
B
I can't.
A
That's what they call him. Some people out there, I don't know who, but there are people out there who call him the boy. Saw our clip from the show. I guess it was the day that I was moving, if you recall that.
B
Yes, of course.
A
And him and his friend academics had a good laugh at just how down bad I am. Let's take a look. Yo, yo, this is crazy. No, no. Now Drake got jokes. He says the kitchen is in the living room and the office. Oh, nah, he got it. Nah, Drake got it. Nah. He says the kitchen is in the living room and the office. Oh, no. Okay, first of all, nah, that is actually funny. Okay. Because yes. If you pull that one video from that day when I was moving, I. I was literally in my kitchen with the fridge behind me and that is where the living room is. It is a New York apartment. So that is not wrong. But that's not the funniest part of the video. Yo. The level of open giddiness that this guy academics has to be friends with. Drake. Yo, my man, he's. Yo, Drake, you got it. Drake. Yo, his level of high. The validation that this guy feels because Drake reaches out.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh man, let's keep going. Ah, nah. Drake. Now, Drake got. Now Drake got jokes. Drake got jokes. Rose and dweeb. He's. I peeped that. He said, hey, I'm. I'm watching the. Got the fridge. The fridge right there. He's in his office, but I see the fridge and that. He's in the living room the same time. It's a three in one. It's a studio. It's a studio. Studio. Yes, it's a studio. Four bedroom apartment. It's a studio. All in one.
B
Yo, yo, this, this is so ridiculous. All of it. It just reminds me of like high school. I can't, I can't. You know, that's why I don't get involved. I'll be like, you guys, you guys do what you want to do.
A
Well, listen, I, I want to personally invite academics and Drake to be guests on Validate Me, which is launching this May because these are both guys who are constantly trying to like, scratch the icks, the itch and feel like they're enough. Like it never ends with, with academics. He's always. And the truth is there's another video where academics talked about, you know, us apologizing. Ebro and I should apologize to him because we said he wasn't ish and blah, blah, blah. I really do feel that some of the criticism we gave him led to him being like some of the validation issues that he has. The one thing that he always mistakes about it though, he always makes it. We talked trash about the medium of YouTube. Like we were like, no, we're on the real microphones. You're not. That was never the content of the criticism. It was specifically about the kind of content that he was making and not having respect for the kind of work that he was doing. It was never a looking down our nose from.
B
I don't think people realize we've always been on YouTube.
A
You know, why would we have been anti YouTube? That doesn't even make sense. But I will say this. Drake, Drake hitting up academics to laugh at me is so rich given like Drake's probably forgotten because Drake probably knows, has known a lot of people over the years and so have I. But like, I remember my relationship with Drake very well. He.
B
So does he.
A
I don't know that he remembers how cool we were. I don't know that he remembers the conversations. Like I have memories of the conversation. You can hit up academics or whichever new, you know, Internet personalities that come along that he always befriends because again, trying to fill that void, he's always befriending the next one so they can fluff him up. Always some next 19 year old vlogger who he can be buddies with. I understand that, but that's not going to erase the, the Drake calling me and nearly in tears because I didn't like the God's Plan video. Literally screaming at the top of his lungs. Nearly in tears. Like, my mom called me. Why? Why scream? I was like. To the point where like I held up the phone and looked at my ex wife. Like, I don't know what is going. This man is screaming at me on the phone about my criticism of the God's Plan video.
B
And that's the video that I said I like because I was defending Drake at that point.
A
And by the way, and in retrospect, I did think I was a little harsh about it, but I thought my criticism was fair. I thought it was corny. But that was also years into our relationship. We had many years where it was like, you know, we were very, very friendly. But the one thing. Because academics has a lot of money. There's no question about it. And, you know, you can see I'm living in just a sad, sad little
B
studio there in the kitchen.
A
I'm living in the kitchen. It's going bad for me. But academics has a lot of money. Drake has a lot of money. But I have something that neither of them have, and that is called real friends. Neither of those people have friends. If Drake had real friends, the whole battle never would have happened the way it happened. And the lawsuit wouldn't have happened, and all of these terrible decisions that the whole world had their head in their hands about wouldn't have happened. Because real friends, real friends, not people on, not staff, not people who live because of you, would have said, my man, don't do that. And academics, we know doesn't have friends because look how my man dresses every time he goes on camera.
B
Peter, no, I. Peter, come on, stop.
A
I know he offered to pay our paycheck. My man. Pay a stylist. What is the. What is the jersey? What is the jersey? And the whole Rosen dweeb thing. Yo, bro, you have to come up with insults that might actually, like, offend me. Don't. You can't make something. You know how Eber always says. They say the thing that's true about them, like, AK we know what your life was. You have to understand. My life isn't in comments. I live in the real world. I have been this person since I was in high school. I have been outside my whole life. You can call me dweeb all you want. You are talking about yourself. And I would love for you to come on validate me. And I'm dead serious about that. Let's have a conversation about why you don't think you're enough. My man makes academics, makes probably 30 million a year. He really might. He probably makes a couple million a month streaming, right? Like, that's. That's my guess, My man.
B
I would hope so.
A
You're making millions and millions of dollars. Yes. We said we didn't like your content. So what? Like you're doing your thing. If you're proud of what you do and you're. And you're doing as well as you say you are. And I think you are. I'm not one of these people who says he's streaming in his basement and has no money. No act does well. He does very, very well. Well enough to pay a stylist, my man. It looks like you walked out of the back of the source. Like, is that it? I know your name's academics. Do you have to wear academics? What? My man. Yo. You are the worst dressed man in media. And I am a 46 year old white dad. And I am stunning on you fashion wise. Get. And by the way, Drake, you too, Peter. No. Am I wrong again? Drake, you've got a. You got a plane and you can't put together an outfit, my man, you can't put together one outfit with nearly a billion dollars.
B
Anyway. Can we move on? It's enough. It's enough.
A
Laura said. I said I wasn't gonna go long and then I kept going long.
B
I'm like.
A
But I may take AK up on giving us the last paycheck if he can get that handled for me. I don't care if it comes from Mediaco or DJ Academics llc. I'll take it.
B
I just think the funniest thing about the Internet, right? Because that video is like from January, I think, right from Jan. Before we. Yeah. Cause we got into our studio at the. We finished building out.
A
No, no, no. This last one that he showed. Yeah, that was the move. That was my move day a couple weeks ago. Ebro was on the road.
B
No, no, no, not this one. The one that was moving around.
A
Oh, from last week about.
B
Yes. When we were saying, hey, they owe us money.
A
That was mad old.
B
Yeah, that's from like January, I think, and people thought it was like recent. But you know, I just, I laugh because people are like, wow, is this really happening? I'm like, yes. The only reason we haven't been able to really go into detail is because we're in the middle of the whole thing of a legal battle and we have our union lawyers telling us, but don't worry.
A
But guess what? I have my arbitration.
B
Yeah, you do.
A
You have yours?
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I told you I did.
A
You have your date. Your dates ahead of ours, right?
B
Yeah, yeah, I think so. Yeah.
A
So we have our dates. So it's. But that. I know that part came out last week. That guy, he watched our show every Day. Why is he pulling stuff that's so old? You got to pull the new stuff?
B
My guy, he, you know. Oh, he's watching now.
A
I'm sure he is. Yo, my man, you got to pull the current stuff that was so old now. I know. Laura, we have a guest we're gonna get to in a minute. Yes.
B
And I'm very excited about him because I am a big fan.
A
Do you want to tease who it is?
B
Yeah. We can say on Instagram. He goes by here's why Kevin.
A
Okay.
B
And I enjoy his content because to me, he just gives you really good breakdowns of the political climate and like, any breaking news. So I've always enjoyed him and I think we Eber follows him too. Like, he's dope. He's dope. So I'm excited for him to come and just bless us with a little bit of knowledge of what's going on. So he's super cool.
A
All right, so we're gonna get to Kevin in just a second. In the meantime, should we. Let's. Can we all have a laugh together? Yesterday I was sent. Apparently this was cut for time from snl. Oh, yeah. They didn't get to it.
B
Okay.
A
And I can see why, because it is long. We won't play the whole thing, but it's still funny. Can you give me 14, please? This is fantastic. If you have not seen it cut from snl. Yeah. How you doing, Jack? Spectacular to meet your acquaintance. That me up, my brother. All right, all right. Hey. Oh, no, no. That's not how you do it. That can never get that one right. No. All right, man. Well, you're here to tell us about your new album. So what was the songwriting process? Yeah, basically, man, I was at home for the holidays with my fam asking myself, like, what's my new sound? What's my new sound? It was stressing me out, man. Damn near ruined my Kwanzaa. Uh huh. Short Jack. Yeah. So I went to sit outside the liquor store with my OGs o like I do every day when the UV isn't too high, you know, so they can learn me some game. Learn you some game? Yeah, let's just move on. I don't know if you've seen, but some people have been clowning you online. All right, all right. I've seen it. I've seen all the clever little nicknames, you know. Most definitely not. LL Cool Whip, they had some new ones. D Anglo Tesco. That one's good. That one is good. So the genre of your new album is listed as Neo Soul. What made you want to go in that direction? Cause on this new album, I wanted to challenge myself, man. I thought, what's blacker than rap? R and B. And to me, R and B stands for rhyming and bopping. No. Rural and blessed. No. Yeah. Real nice, boys. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Raised near, but not with black people. That sounds about right, my nigga. Thank you. We gotta stick together. So funny. I know, because it went on. It's like a good full three and a half minutes. And I think the Jack Harlow joke is a little bit niche. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, man, I don't even know who was playing Jack. That was so funny. Also, apparently people in the chat are saying, my regular winter hat is giving Jack Harlow. Sorry, doesn't have a haircut. I'm wearing the winter hat today till the haircut happens. Okay? And this is a winter hat. This is a regular winner hat. Laura, I think our guest is here.
B
Okay, let's go.
A
You know it was very good, right?
B
Yes, yes, yes.
A
Is Kevin here? There he is. Kevin, what's up, man?
C
Yes, I am here.
B
Hi, Kevin.
C
What up, y'?
A
All?
C
How are you?
B
We're good. We're good. We're so happy that you're here with us. I was. We were telling our audience before you came on how I'm such a big fan of your work. We've been following you for a while, and we really enjoy your content, and we're just happy to have you.
C
Thank you. I appreciate it.
B
All right, Kevin, hit us with some breaking news. Let us know what's happening in the political world. I always enjoy your content because you break it down. What are the top stories? What are you passionate about today?
C
All right, so first, because we're all over here on the East Coast, I think it's important to remind people that this week there is a election to fill a vacant seat in the House. So Ana Lilia Mejia is a Democratic candidate in New Jersey's 11th congressional district, and right now, she's in the lead. She's about 17 points ahead of Joe Hathaway, who is a MAGA Republican. And this used to be a red district that Mikey Sherrill, who now is the governor of New Jersey, flipped blue. But it looks pretty safe. She's 17 points ahead. So that means that if she wins the election, which they made on a Thursday for some reason, if she wins the election, though, she'll be the first Dominican woman as well as the first Colombian woman to ever be elected to Congress. And she'll fill a very necessary and vacant seats in Congress because we've had a lot of vacancies this year so far.
B
Oh, wow. Okay. Okay, that's interesting. Let's go.
A
And very important, these elections. Each one is going to be incredibly important. So when you have an opportunity, especially if you're up against these MAGA Republicans, people have to get out there and vote every time.
B
I know. I think that one of the things that I am, at least I am seeing more people care about local politics more.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's a blessing because, man, how many times have we been begging people like when it comes to everything from the census and on just care, show up, get informed, tell a friend. You know what I mean? So this is all super important.
A
Kevin, are you. What's the latest on the Eric Swalwell situation? Eric Swalwell was running for governor. Congressman running for governor of California seemingly had a pathway to victory. And then the other day, accusations from staffers about horrible sexual misconduct happened. It looked like at first he wasn't going to bail, that now he is. What do you have? What's the latest on the Eric Swalwell of it all?
C
So I just want to say that this story for a lot of people may be new, but this story has been bubbling for months. The first accusation actually came back in November. There have been rumblings. I made a post this weekend. I did a little off topic, but I made a post this weekend just because I want people to get an idea of how often these misconduct allegations happen in Congress. Congress has paid more than $18 million in misconduct settlements. People who work on the Hill who work for the government are being paid out because members of Congress are mistreating them. And those are different kinds of misconduct allegations, but a lot of them are sexual misconduct allegations. So this isn't rare and it isn't new. And Eric Swalwell is actually being accused by more than a dozen women. But so far, four of those women have had their stories published in the media, in the San Francisco Chronicle as well as in cnn. And so those are the allegations that he was responding to. But I do want people to know Eric Swalwell has said that these allegations are. He said these allegations are anonymous and false. But Eric Swalwell somehow knew who the accusers were and was able to text them cease and desist over the weekend before the story dropped. And so a lot of people have been waiting for the story to drop. A lot of journalists like my have had this story on embargo, but we knew it was coming. So I knew that he was going to drop out. I knew that this wasn't going to be the way forward for him. So he dropped out of the race last night and he has not resigned from Congress yet. But I don't see him lasting past this week.
B
You know, I wasn't following this story as closely as obviously Kevin and everybody else, but now that he's breaking it down, I didn't realize how many accusations he had.
A
Yeah. And varying degrees of really bad, horrible stories. People being drunk and half asleep and unsolicited nude photos. But like, this is not. And I've seen there are some people on the left who are like sort of turning a blind eye to this. I don't give a damn what your party is. Like, accusations this bad need to be heard. And the fact that there are so many from people who worked with him, like, listen, this is just not. Cause sometimes we say the Democrats go too far to eat their own. Like Kevin, for example, I sometimes talk about looking back at Al Franken, which there was sort of this one unfortunate thing, and they got rid of Al Franken. This is not that. This is a. This appears to be, Kevin, a series of really horrible behavior. And I know many Democrats have spoken out, but I hope that people on the left will be as consistent with it being a Democrat as we would be with it being a Republican.
B
Absolutely. Absolutely. Now, Kevin is there's. Now that he's dropped out, is there any other candidate that you're passionate about?
C
I know that a lot of folks are getting behind Javier Picara. So he is a Latino candidate and he has gone against the Trump administration in court and won. He has stood up for the people of California already. But I'll be honest and say I haven't been paying attention to each candidate because there are still so many candidates in California's gubernatorial race, which I think is an issue because California is not. It's not party based. So the top two candidates are the candidates who are going to make it to the general election. So come. I think it's something like 47 days when that primary happens. If there are still a bunch of Democrats splitting the Democratic vote, we could end up with a California general. General election between two Republicans. So it's a little confusing right now.
B
Okay. Okay. So I guess we'll just wait and see. Now, before, before we let you go, can you just break down what's happening? The House is expelling four members. Break it down for us. Tell us what's going on.
C
Yeah. So right now, you know, there have only ever been six members of the House of Representatives to be expelled in its history. But this week, we could see four members expelled all at the same time. And this is again happening because of the allegations against Corey. Sorry, Eric Swalwell. Pardon me. And so Eric Swalwell's allegations have angered a lot of Republicans. And so Representative Anna Paulina Luna from Florida is set to introduce tomorrow a vote to expel Eric Swalwell from Congress. And then in response to that, Democrats are planning to introduce a motion to expel Tony Gonzalez of Texas, who also has had sexual misconduct allegations against him. And he has had sexual relationships with his staffers, one of whom committed suicide last year and another whose story was just uncovered recently. And so Democrats are going to force a vote to expel Tony Gonzalez. And then in response to that, Republicans are going to force a vote to. To expel sheila Sheriff Elizabeth McCormick of Florida, a Democrat who is being accused of misappropriating government funds and fraud. And so in the House, they already did an investigation and found her guilty, but she is still facing federal charges. She has not been found guilty in court. Her trial actually starts this week. And then the fourth member who Democrats are going to target is Corey Mills, a Republican who is last year actually faced charges put forward by an ex girlfriend who accused him of assault and then also accused him of blackmailing her with revenge porn. And so there was actually a restraining order set against him, and a judge found that she had credible evidence. So it looks like we could lose four members in one week.
A
We are an absolute mess. Kevin, thank you so much for making time for us, man. I just gave you. I'm sorry that I'm the last one on the crew. I'm late, but I am now following. Here's why. Kevin on Instagram, thank you for making some time for us, man.
B
Yes. And thank you for all the work that you do keeping us informed.
A
Thank y'. All.
C
I appreciate it. Thank you so much.
A
Peace. Dude, that's Kevin. Here's why. Kevin on Instagram now, before Laura. We have a big rundown coming up in March.
B
Yes, we do. We do.
A
But let's. Let's finish up. You want to finish up the politics real quick before we go to the rundown?
B
All right, what else you got?
A
Well, Trump is beefing with the Pope. Okay. Trump is beefing with the Pope. He thinks this is a good idea. The Pope has, of course, been critical of the Trump administration, particularly of the war in Iran and several other things. Pope Leo, you know, I'VE called him my Pope. That's my pope. Pope Leo from Chicago. We love Pope Leo. We love Pope Leo. He does not fear Trump and he is going to stand by peace. Like, this is a Pope who was on the right side of history and has really been on point. Listen, I know people went through his entire life as they do with Popes. And there were other times when he's evolved over time, as people do, but in this moment in time, he is a very of the moment. Pope Trump doesn't like that.
B
Sorry. I just wonder. I'm wondering right now what the religious crazies are feeling as they're watching the President of the United States attack a Pope. I wonder what that conversation at dinner time is gonna be like.
A
You mean, like, we love Trump. We treat Trump like our God, but now he's actually playing God and beefing with the Pope. Now, remember, the Pope, though, like, has a is. If you're Catholic, the Pope is likely very meaningful to you.
B
Yeah.
A
Let's also be realistic about the world that we live in right now. There are probably a lot of people out there who, who, when they found out the Pope wasn't aligned with their stuff, were kind of like, oh, we don't know about this guy. Like that probably is. I'm sure that already exists.
B
Yes. I saw a lot of those comments floating around, at least online.
A
And he's from Chicago. It's not like he's Italian. So they don't feel. They probably think of him as like an American guy who can't be trusted. Cause he was corrupted by the corrupt left. Anyways, here is your President of the United States, Donald Trump, going at the Pope and they're going to go back filled up with oil.
B
Why did you attack Pope Leo on Truth Social?
A
I don't think he's doing a very good job. He likes crime. I guess. He hit us. Think of it. He's worried about fear. What about the fear when the ministers and the priests and all of those great people that were arrested during COVID and in many cases, they're outside, 10ft apart, and they were arrested. So we don't like it. We don't like a Pope that's going to say that it's okay to have a nuclear weapon. We don't want a Pope that says crime is okay in our cities. I don't like it. I'm not a big fan of Pope Leo. He's a very liberal person and he's a man that doesn't believe in stopping crime. He's a man that doesn't think that we should be toying with a country that wants a nuclear weapon so they can blow up the world. I'm not a fan of Pope Leo. I will just say this. When I see that hat, I remember why academics and Drake are Trump guys, because that hat, again, need a stylist. Mr. President, that hat is hard. That font is horrible. So do you also. I don't know if you have Bascom. Do you put the picture in that he posted today, too? How about this? Trump posted after beefing with the Pope, Trump posted on Truth a picture of him as Christ. Do you.
B
I just. I. We are the laughing stock of the entire world.
A
Yo. I'm not Christian, and I am offended by that.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, as someone who just has love and admiration for Jesus Christ, the figure and what Christ stands for as a figure, like that is offensive. Nothing about Trump is Christlike. He is the most unchristlike person I could think. He is the antithesis. He is proud. He is rich and not generous. He is a cheater. He has every quality that goes against the teachings of Christ. And by the way, people know that. Like, everyone knows that. Like, if you're a religious person and you like Trump, you kind of admit he's a guilty pleasure. Let's be honest. I don't think. Laura, there are people out there, or not, many at least, who are devout Christians and love Trump and believe that he is like a Christ like figure. I believe they all know. Well, listen, I know he's not conventional and he may not be, you know, the most religious, but. But to have him just rub it in your face like that.
B
I would like to agree with you, but I really, truly feel that there's people who are convinced, like, they really are so caught up. That's why I call it a cult. I call it a cult. There's people who are brainwashed who really believe that this is it. This is their answer. Like, they truly believe in this man. Like, I saw this.
A
I know.
B
I saw this video not too long ago, and I've seen it before, and please, these are Cubans in Miami. But there was this one lady who was like, I'm not a Republican. And in Spanish, she's like, I'm a trompista.
A
Wow.
B
It's. Her devotion was to Trump. So to me, that is true. You know what I mean? There's some people who are really.
A
There are Trumpistas everywhere.
B
Yes, yes. So while I wish I could agree with you 100%, I just truly believe that there are people who are Brainwashed. And to them, this is it. They're like, yes, yes. They're clapping, they're happy, they're celebrating this.
A
We live in the stupidest of times. Yeah, I just. Every day. And it's not just. And I just wanna be clear. As a result, the Trump thing is so bad that it's essentially made everyone dumber. You know what I'm saying? Overall, now, the whole way we operate and the whole sort of conversation that exists is worse and dumber and more callous and more silly. And even if I'm on the right side with people, like, there are a lot of people who I kind of agree or maybe mostly agree with the content of what they say. And I still hate the way that they deliver it, and I still hate the way that they carry themselves because our entire way of interacting with each other is just worse.
B
Yeah, man.
A
As a result of it. There was this one thing that really bugged me this weekend, and I know this will probably make the chat mad at me, but I don't. I don't give an ish. There's this woman, and I got sent to her from wherever, whatever, and she seems pretty big. I saw Ebro follows her, although that doesn't say very much. The man follows everybody, but he, by the way, everyone who ever gets sent to me, Everyone who gets sent to me, when I go to their page, it says, followed by old man Ebro every single time. So it was this woman, this lady in New York whose brand on social media is, like, hating Israel. Right. And being anti Israel.
B
Okay?
A
And like, one of the main videos she had that made her go viral. And I watched it. I watched it in full to try to get an understanding of it, because I was like, this can't be as dumb as it appears to be. And made this woman lit. And people are praising this, but it was. Was that she saw who she determined to be in Times Square. These, like, three guys who she determined to be IDF soldiers. And I think she was right. I think it turned out that they were had been IDF soldiers. And she starts attacking them and calling them baby killers and screaming at them. And for the most part in the video, they're barely responding. And then at the end, they end up saying something dumb back of like, I do it again or whatever, like when she's like, walking away. But this is. Keep in mind, this is after being screamed at by a stranger for five minutes. It's not as big a flex and as dope as you think it is to go up to people decide who they are based on what they look like, sound like, and then immediately start attacking them and saying horrible things without knowing a thing about them. That's not as dope and progressive as you think it is. You know, everyone in Israel serves in the army.
B
Yeah, I was just gonna say that
A
everyone serves in the army. Now. Maybe those people were horrible people, I would say. I know that's gonna get some people upset. Most people who end up in the Israeli army are not rapist baby killers. They're people who had to enlist in the army.
B
Well, I think I agree with you. But once you're in, it does turn you into monsters.
A
But not everybody listen. Is that true of the US Military?
B
No, but.
A
And they did that when the US soldiers came back from Vietnam and spit on people.
B
Listen, I'm not. I'm just talking about the people who end up going into the west bank, who ended up going to Gaza. Like, all you see is like.
A
But that's all you see. But that's. I get it. And the mission is evil. Yeah, but you can't. You can't hate every foot soldier for a mission that's evil.
B
Well, it's hard.
A
Military that's. In a country where they require you to join the military.
B
Well, that's why it's hard, because nobody has a choice. They automatically have to enlist.
A
Well, but that's why the easiest thing to do is don't just go up on the street and because you hear someone speaking a language, start screaming at them. That's not okay. That's not what being like on. That's not what being on the left or being progressive supposed to be. The point of being on the left and being progressive is about having good dialogue and thought and wanting peace. Not like I'm so emotional about a subject that now I act like people who would go to abortion clinics and attack doctors.
B
Yeah, no, I hear you. I hear you.
A
But she's. No, she's got 500,000 followers. People think that's dope to walk up to people you don't know and start screaming at them without knowing their history.
B
But the thing is that we don't know. We don't know what happened before that.
A
But what do you mean?
B
Like, we don't know if she actually knew that they were soldiers.
A
The video that she shows.
B
Right. I haven't seen it. So I don't know.
A
It's from the very beginning. They're barely saying anything, and she's absolutely attacked now. Listen, maybe they were horrible people. I don't know. It doesn't really matter.
B
My point is you're saying blindly attacking someone without knowing it's what kind of.
A
This is not the way to make this thing better. Like hatred and vitriol and blindly attacking people is not the dope Instagram flex you think it is.
B
I think this.
A
But everyone wants views.
B
This goes back to what you said. None of this is going to make Israelis Jews safer.
A
No, it's not.
B
Because all the entire world is watching is seeing the IDF soldiers murdering. So it's very hard for people to have compassion when we've seen the most horrific things. The horrific things. So it goes back to your point.
A
Well, that's exactly. So there's no world in which an average person now who gets everything from Instagram is going to be able to have. And this is back to us being in a stupid time, though.
B
Mm.
A
What I'm saying shouldn't be controversial. It should not. And I haven't looked at the chat. I'm sure I'm getting roasted. But it should not be seen as controversial. That the way to express your point about being disgusted by a completely unjust, horrible war is to go screaming at people on the street when you don't know anything about them. That or being outright just hateful towards everybody. Although I did see an interesting quote this weekend from Ezra Klein, which was, this is an important thing for my fellow Jews out there. The more that people are critical of Israel, and when they're critical of Israel, the response is you're being anti Semitic. That is what's going to make people anti Semitic.
B
Yeah.
A
If when you say I'm not down with Israel and you go, that's anti Semitic, that is going to lead that person to then. And by the way, of course it is because of everything that I'm saying. We're not living in smart times. Nuanced thought is not rewarded on social media. The reason the woman I'm talking about had 500,000 followers and wants to keep going and now is gonna make it her brand. I call out baby killers. You know that. I just. I just wanna have given update. 50, 60 years have passed since the Vietnam War. It still didn't end up reflecting well on like the extreme hippies who literally, like spit on the soldiers returning. Yeah, that never aged well. Yeah, you know that didn't. That. That's Taking your vitriol out on the first person you see in uniform is never going to be the way to express yourself.
B
Yeah, listen, I hear you, but I also know that with everything that we're seeing, with everything that we're feeling it's going to be very hard for people to have any compassion for IDF soldiers.
A
I understand that. I just. My expectation of people is that you shouldn't do that. I'm sorry.
B
Yeah, yeah, I hear you.
A
Especially when the Military's required. At 18 years old required. Something that, like, we could not understand. Except, of course, if you're an orthodox Jew, they get to. Somehow the settler Orthodox in Israel skip their military obligations.
B
Oh, wow. Okay, okay.
A
But, like, what I'm saying is, is it's required. There's not. If you've ever been to Israel or know Israelis, you know people who served in the idf, like, there's no way not to. That's what it is. So you can say that they're all baby killers just because the mission itself is absolutely abhorrent and wrong and disgusting, just like we have done in America time and time again throughout history. That does not mean that every person who ends up putting on the uniform is that. Now, if I ran into someone who was in the IDF right now, would I probably be like, ooh, I want to sit down and have a chat? No, I probably would not be in the mood to be. But guess what I would do? I would go, all right, and walk the other direction. I would not go baby killer. Like, that's not. Again, not the dope IG flex you think it is. Laura, you ready?
B
Yes. Let's go to the rundown.
A
Hold on. Well, don't say that until I have the.
B
Let's go to the rundown.
A
Okay, fine. Laura got the rundown. Turn that up. Screens on glow when she pull up headlines. Heavy. But we still caught up. Life still flashing and we don't slow up.
B
Oh, my God, I got so many texts about this. Like, I have the plug. I have no plugs. As soon plug as the Usher Chris Brand tour was announced, I mean, this is gonna be one of them ones.
A
I'm glad people think so highly of us that we might have the plug.
B
I was like, I have no plug. What are you talking about? No, I do not. So they dropped the news on social media on Friday, and, you know, it was them, like, zipping through the streets in motorcycles. It was tight.
A
Usher, Usher's like, oh, you have something. All right, let's take a look.
B
Oh, my God,
A
It's time. Hell, yeah.
B
The R B tour.
A
Oh, I see how they got to R B. Yes, yes. Raymond and Brown. Little bit of a reach, but we got there.
B
Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah, it's gonna be. Listen, I'm excited About this.
A
And they're doing stadiums.
B
Yeah, man.
A
Everyone only does stadiums. They're like. It's like the only. Can I just say. Okay, a few separate thoughts. 1. Fire.
B
Fire.
A
That's a great tour.
B
Yeah.
A
Usher. Usher. What? Two weeks ago said the line about Diddy. That didn't come off great, right?
B
Yes.
A
And then two weeks later he's like, screw it. Now I'm going on tour with Chris Brown. I just, I don't. Let's just be mindful of the brand here. Usher. It's. I hope Chris Brown has appreciation for Usher doing this. I'm sure this is a. No one else of that ilk has stood next to Chris Brown. Like in a real way like this, like full on tour songs for sure. But like this level of branding. Stadium tour together. Yeah, that's pretty.
B
I mean, look, they have consistently been compared to each other. You know what I mean? Like everyone is always arguing about who's the favorite.
A
So.
B
So when I tell you people are going to run to Ticketmaster and snatch up all the tickets, they're going to put on one hell of a show.
A
No kids are going to not be able to go to college because of what their parents spend on the R and B tour.
B
We all saw Usher in Vegas.
A
Yeah.
B
And then listen, as controversial as Chris Brown is, bro, that man puts on a show.
A
That's what everyone said. Everyone said I got a little FOMO when I didn't see the stadium show. Yeah, I just. Okay. And then the third point I wanted to make was I know the stadium thing, you can make a ton of money and I think ego wise, it feels really good. As a fan, I don't really like it. Do you? Like, like if I had to choose between going out to. At least I can only speak for the Tri State. Going out to MetLife Stadium in Jersey to see a concert or going to one of the arenas, it's.
B
Cause you're washed.
A
Is that. No. But is that really. Is that really true or is that. Is it a better experience?
B
You're further away for certain artists. I want to be. I want to be in a stadium for certain things. I understand. I love an intimate show.
A
I'm not saying intimate, I just mean an arena.
B
But this one for them, I could see it. They're gonna go all out. They are going to go all out. They're gonna put on a show with the pyro and probably flying through the crowd.
A
You can do all of that in an arena that holds 19,000 with air conditioning without me dealing with the Parking lot. But listen, people seem to love it. And the bottom line is they're obviously making a grip of money because I'll tell you what, they're not doing it for. For. Because everyone loves it. That's not. The point is we can fit 80,000 people at one time, charge a huge amount of money, and you can do the biggest, craziest visuals possible.
B
Yeah.
A
So anyway, it's a dope tour. I'm hating a little bit just cause that's my nature. But I'm down.
B
No, I'm excited about it.
A
And when I say my nature, I mean my nature to see what's wrong with this. Because the Chris Brown piece is interesting to me. I'm a little surprised that Usher's doing it. I think it's kind of cool. Cause I think it's been a long time. And as I've said, Chris Brown. I don't know. I always go back and forth with Chris Brown. Every time I think I'm ready to be like, let's turn over a new leaf and fully let Chris Brown just be Chris Brown. Because he is one of the great RB singers of all time. He then has like a moment or someone reminds me of something from just like three years ago. And I'm like, why does he always do things that are annoying?
B
Yeah.
A
But I think just keep it clean between now and the end of the tour, Chris, because you're with Usher now. All right.
B
I don't know if you guys saw that Offset is back on stage.
A
Oh, I saw.
B
So yeah, just days after being shot. And we'll see him. He appeared on stage first. He came out in a wheelchair. Check this out.
A
It's giving. Murder was the case. Yeah. I'm happy for him, man.
B
Me too. Me too. But did you see the. I don't. I don't have the. The. The message that he posted on social media. But the end was like something along the lines, like, life is a gamble and I'm playing a win. I don't know if you saw that he was thanking his fans and everybody for checking on him, but that was his closing line.
A
I was like, offset with leaning into the gambling thing.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I peeped that. Now also over the weekend, Coachella went down. Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Carol G headlined. I saw Sexyy Red brought out Lizzo in Central C. Carol G killed it. Yeah. I was watching like all these clips at different points. She brought out. I saw she brought an all woman mariachi band. She leaned into some like old school reggaeton and Just put on an amazing show. But you know, what piece really, like, got to me? Did you see when Justin Bieber was performing and a video was playing in the background of, like, a kid Justin Bieber, like, the hair, the everything, and he's performing in front of it. Did you see that?
A
No, I didn't see that one. I saw the Tems. I saw the Tems video.
B
Oh, that was Fire, too.
A
Which one do we have? We have one, right? We have the Thames. Is this gonna get us struck?
B
All right, that's it.
A
Need you in the morning. Yeah, yeah.
B
That's a beautiful.
A
I give you all you needing I
B
know what you like all right, all right, all right. So good. That made me super happy. When I saw that, I was like, man, this is fire.
A
Yeah. I've never been to Coachella.
C
It's.
A
It's. And I've really. I've really. It's like, I already missed it. Like, it's over now.
B
It's over for you.
A
I'm washed. But more importantly, it's almost washed. But that looks pretty dope. His stage looked pretty dope for Coachella, too. It looks like that was a different look. Normally, Coachella is a pretty straightforward stage that was giving, like, a little something, something.
B
I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it. I don't know if you guys saw, though, on tv. Euphoria has returned.
A
Oh, it was back last night.
B
Yep. I haven't. I. Yesterday, I was like, should I start it? I was like, no, no, I'm going to wait. I'm going to wait. But, yeah, euphoria is back for all the big fans. You know, we didn't. We didn't talk about this Rosenberg, but, you know, Africa Bamboo passed away at the age of 68.
A
He did.
B
Yeah. But, you know, it just reminded me as I saw everybody sending, like, all the rest in peace, which. Yes, I hear you, but, man, all the accusations that have come out throughout the years, like, some people leaned into it and were very open about it. I saw some people who chose to ignore it, but with situations like this, I don't see how you could ever ignore something like that.
A
Well, I saw some people who ignored it, but, like, gave the caveat of, like. I know there's a lot of other things to say, but I'm gonna talk about the music part of it.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, all I could think about when I heard the news, the first thing I thought was just, man, the last 10 years of his life was just a. I mean, guys, it wasn't
B
just one, it was several.
A
Oh, no, no, no, no. It's. I mean, well, listen, there's a. Several known names.
B
Yes.
A
Then there's more of unknown names. And then it's alleged to have gone way beyond that. That basically he was grooming kids from all the way back in the 70s, right. That's what's said. And there's no real way to separate that, unfortunately, from his founding of the Zulu nation because it sounds like he was kind of using who he was, his fame and his cultural import to like abuse boys sexually. So it's a horrible, horrible story and end to his life. And it sounds like a lot of his life was horrible from a music standpoint. I mean, just a huge impact musically. Obviously people just think planet Rock, that's like the biggest record he ever had. But Bambaata as a DJ and a producer is much more than that. And also the Zulu nation, while he is this horribly flawed leader. The Zulu nation did so many other great things and spawned so many other great people. Right. Like so many other great artists, you know, claim Zulu Nation like as we have our tribe called quest low end theory thing sitting here like so many people rep Zulu nation. So you cannot ignore that history. But you also can't ignore the history that by all, by. By many accounts, he was a horrifying sexual abuser. But yeah.
B
So that's the rundown. That's my wrap up.
A
Oh, I gotta hit it again. Right?
B
Let's go. Intro for outro.
A
Intro for outro. Hold on, man. There we go. Screens on glow when she pull up headlines heavy but we still caught up Life still flashing we don't slow. All right, let me hit a couple of people before we get to the original gurus. Let me hit a couple of people in the super chat real quick. Let's see your man. The stop is in the super chat.
B
What did he say?
A
Salute to the gang. One big happy family. I don't know exactly what that means. The stop is that is the website that went out there and posted the video last week that made it look like we were. We had just like lost our salaries and were complaining or whatever, but I.
B
We were. I am complaining.
A
Well, no, we were. We were complaining about the fact that we were. The end of our time there was done wrong and we were screwed over financially. That's the main thing. Yeah, yeah, of course I want my money. Who wouldn't want the money that they're owed? That's why you're in a union. But thank you to the stop for posting all of our content and whatever stuff you get out there. Moreno. The man said, I just want to say happy birthday to my beautiful daughter. Oh.
B
Moreno.
A
Lucille. Lucille. L, U, C, I. Capital J. O. Lucy Jo.
B
Lucy Jo.
A
Lucy Jo. But there's no space between the Lucy
B
and the J. Hopefully, we get it right.
A
Lucy Joe.
B
Happy birthday.
A
I went, Lucy Ho. Well, his name is Moreoneo. I thought maybe Lucy Hall. I don't know. Lucy Jo. Okay, Happy birthday. She's turning three. Happy birthday.
B
Huh?
C
Aw.
B
Moreno.
A
DJ Shavi in the building and. Oh, hold on. Damn it. I just lost the main one. I wanted to read.
B
Oh, come on.
A
I know it's at the top, but then I. You push a button. All right, then. Andre Small said, Rosenberg, me and my fiance were invited to a box at WrestleMania in Vegas. I don't watch wrestling, and we don't know what to wear. If it helps, I'm a concierge physician and trying to impress. Any advice, Dre? First of all, Dre, let me get an appointment with that concierge physician when I'm. When I'm out in Vegas next week. You know what I mean? No, you don't have to wear anything. I mean, whatever. Whatever. Wear whatever you would wear to a suite for anything. I mean, if you're not a wrestling fan, you're not going to fake it and get, like, a vintage wrestling T shirt or, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I think you're going to a suite. You dress accordingly. But what I will tell you is you are going to have a great time. I have never met anyone who shows up to a WWE show for the first time and does not have an incredible time.
B
No. It is so much fun, Rosenberg. The first time I went, I didn't know what to expect, and I was like, am I going to be bored? Because I don't really know any of the storylines, bro. It was fire.
A
I had a great time, and WrestleMania is a different level altogether, so you're going to have a fantastic time. I'm trying to find the intro for. I'm going to learn all of these. Bottom. He says at the bottom. No, There it is. Hey, yo. It's time for the Gurus. Thank you, Rosenberg. Laura, you know, you are a beautiful queen. Ebro, don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru.
B
Breathe in. Breathe out. The original gurusmail.com. the original gurusmail.Com. where the gurus unite to fight for
A
what's right in the circle of love.
B
We burn the stage while Ebro's gone Zen, zen, Zen. All right. Rosenberg who's writing to us? Who needs us? Who's out there?
A
Theoriginalgurusmail.com the original gurusmail.com gurus the original gurusmail.com your destination for clarity send your email today folks, I need a few more. Come on, send them in.
B
Some people are shy. Don't be shy.
A
Ever since you guys left Hot I was struck on what to listen to in the morning. This is a guru message. That's what it says. All right, all right. I used to go back and forth between ESPN app Shout out to you Rosenberg and the morning show. Then went full sports but it got boring at times. I needed the morning heat that y' all bring. Fast forward later I saw a TikTok with a clip of your show and googled and found out YouTube I play via Bluetooth every day but a day later I don't catch you live because my morning commute is 6 to 7am I'm writing you this email because I'm stuck in a dilemma. I just recently bought a home in Brooklyn after the rent in New York then forced me to buy one. I wasn't going to make the trip across the tunnels because we don't have any family out there. My wife was pregnant at the time of the move and we need all the support that we can get. Fast forward three years later with my hard working wife and I. We both have six figure jobs but still find it hard in New York City to pay these bills and oh yeah, raised three children two eight and nine. Now you're wilding bro. My wife is a champ and my backbone. My middle child is adopted and has happens to also be my sister's kid. We took her in at seven months when she had just when my first who had just had just turned one. But that's for another guru.
B
All right.
A
My main thing now is the mother in law. She lives in Michigan and there's been pressure to move her in soon after we bought the house. As you know BK don't have ginormous homes and the one we got is a three bed two story house with basement. My mother in law is a cool woman and she doesn't button to our business but my main concern is that I smoke weed and she is very religious and old school. Every time she makes long visits I'm finding excuses to run out and hit a joint. If she moves in I lose one of my main things that make me comfortable in my own home. She'll be a great help to my wife and the kids. Would love to have her there. I know it sounds selfish and I don't know what, but I don't know what to do. Eventually she's probably gonna move in, but how should I handle the whole talk? I feel like I need a bit more time in the crib, but my wife is running on fumes when she has most of the pickup and drop off duties. My job hours don't allow for that. By the way. I don't want to make this email so long you have, but how should I handle this? Should she move in as soon as possible or do I have time to ride out in my own crib, comfy for another six months or more? My wife's not even pressed about it, but she throws out clues and her friends are starting to say things too. Haha. Let you guys know. Thank you for the help. Long time fought. Thank you, bro. We first of all appreciate all the love and that you found us on the YouTube. We love that. We love having you.
B
Yeah.
A
I gotta tell you, feels like you just gotta. Nothing that you said here was a real issue except you like to smoke weed in your house. So you're gonna have to find a new routine of going outside to smoke your weed or in your room out the window or like you're gonna have to figure out something new.
B
Yeah, but the only. I wonder if that's the only thing though, because if he feels uncomfortable after she's been there for long periods of time and I just, I'm not okay with being uncomfortable in my own home. So I just wonder if it's something more than just the weed.
A
Laura, he wrote 93 paragraphs, but he didn't say one other thing. He said, she's cool, she doesn't button our business. I'm not even really tripping off it. The kids will love having her here. We do have space. And like, he didn't say, to your point, if he had. If he had laid out other stuff, we could have a conversation. Yeah, all he laid out was, I'm gonna lose my weed spot. I don't think that's a good enough reason.
B
Okay, do you think that he should just be honest? Like his wife also should be honest with the mom? Look, he smokes weed. That's his thing.
A
Leave him alone.
B
Allow him to do whatever he. You know what I mean? Because I sometimes feel that. What the hell? People are laughing in the background. Distracted me.
A
I know, me too. You can't say on the air.
B
Okay, all right, all right, all right. But anyway, so I think you should have a long talk with Your wife about it. Just tell her how you feel and maybe you guys can come to some kind of agreement because it sounds like she really needs this help, man. You guys got three kids, right?
A
So that's what I'm saying. Like, Laura, it's a great point. You guys should have a chat about whether or not you want to tell her. And that's for you guys to decide. Like, hey, I'm a grown up. I know you don't approve of it, but I do smoke some pot. Yeah, if you smell it, you smell it. It's not a big deal or not.
B
I just thought if I smoke the devil's lettuce.
A
What's that from?
B
I think it was like this. I don't know. I don't remember where it's from, but I think it's just so funny.
A
It reminds me of. It reminds me of Robert De Niro in Meet the Parents, you know, Puff the Magic Dragon. So listen, that's up to you whether you guys think like, hey, maybe we'll tell her so I don't have to stress about it the same way. But either way, you're still losing your basement is what it sounds like to me. So you may have to come out with a new routine. Hey, listen, you already have three kids and grandma's moving in. Here's what you need to do. Throw into the mix an adorable little dog.
B
Oh, God.
A
No, listen, hear me out. Go rescue a little. I'm little. A little like 10 pound terrier mix of some sort. Go rescue yourself a little dog. And then at night, you always walk the dog.
B
There you go.
A
You go smoke your little joint. And now you got your new little homie. You save a life. Either way. You guys can decide whether you want to talk to a grandma about it. But you sound like a great guy. You guys sound like a great family. If this is a situation that makes sense, I don't think your weed habits enough. I think you should. You said should you wait six months. I think you should go to your wife and go, hey, just so you know, this is how you do it. I support whatever you want to do. If you want to do it now, let's do it now. If you want to wait, I got your back. Yeah, it's an opportunity for you to
B
just be a great guy and also voice your concerns. Make sure you're heard because I don't want you later on be like, man, I should have told her. Now it's a mess. Just make sure you put everything out on the table when you guys make your final decision. Good luck. So see the gurus.
A
All right. A couple super chats. Okay. Poppy shampoo.
B
All right, 50 bucks poppy shampoo. Oh my God.
A
That might be a drop. Shout out to my beautiful wife Tracy, an amazing mom to our child. We love your show. Happy birthday, love.
B
Oh, happy birthday.
A
BNA says Berg dressed like Tim Pool. Lmfao. Who's Tim Pool again? Oh God. Who's he? A streamer. A right leaning streamer. Yo guys, I just, I wear a winter hat when I'm outside in the cold. I'm bald. But yesterday Natalie took a picture of me from above and I was like, damn, my hair is growing out long enough. I'm not going. Like I got the full strap going. I can't do it today. I'm getting a haircut on my way home.
B
All right, I respect it. I respect it.
A
Eric motion said, I'm 50 and planet rock was my gateway into hip hop. I did not know about these allegations until five minutes after I found out he passed. How is that possible? And do I get the button? I mean, listen, if you weren't like paying a ton of attention, you're living your life. Nah, you might have missed it. It was big hip hop news.
B
Yeah.
A
When it, when it happened, when it came out. And lastly, Paul Couchie 601 says, Peter, I have your real aid on vinyl and I want to get it started signed by you. Any way that can happen. Absolutely. Where are you? Can you come to an event that we plan? If not, you want to try to send it? We could do that joint, but I'm happy to do it at an event for sure. It's probably my number one favorite thing is that when people come meet me and bring the vinyl to sign fire, it is pretty cool. I'm very proud of that album. Thank you. Great show, Laura.
B
Yes, thank you guys for checking in. Thank you for all the love in the super chats. All the love. We appreciate it and we'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget, hit that like button. Subscribe.
A

B
