What's up? Liz Wilcox here. This is episode 117. Three reasons I'm hosting is the word I'm looking for. Three reasons I'm hosting Ask Me Anything April. So this one is for the nosy Nellies out there. It is April 2025 and I am hosting Ask Me Anything April where every Wednesday at 1pm Eastern except for the third Wednesday. I still haven't figured out that time. But anyway, pretty much every Wednesday this month I am going live over on YouTube. I will link to those and I'm you can ask me anything. So we are doing themes. So the first week we've already done that. If you're an email marketing membership, you have access to the replay in your video library. That was all about list building. So it was two hours of questioning about list building. The second week we are doing email marketing. So any general questions about email at all? Come one, come all, we'll have a ball talking about email marketing. Third week we're going to talk about memberships, how I've grown my membership. Any questions you have about growing yours. I've been in this membership game for four years and two months now. So I still, I still don't consider myself an expert in memberships, but I've been doing it longer than some people who sell how to do memberships anyway. So third week we'll talk about memberships. Fourth week we'll talk about podcasting, you YouTube and content creation. And then the fifth week of April, yes, there are five Wednesdays in April we're gonna do just a general Ask me anything. You could ask me about Survivor, you could ask me about my personal life. You could come back and ask me about any one of those four topics if you just missed them. Right. I'm gonna leave that one as like an open mic type of thing. So I'm really excited about Ask Me Anything April. And why, why the heck am I hosting something like this anyway? Well, number one, I love interacting with my community. If you don't know, I was on that show Survivor, which every time I say that it feels so self serving. But I was and it really did a number on me emotionally and physically and all the thingies. And I felt like the more, you know, like I went on Survivor, didn't tell anyone right Then I had to come home and recover in private. Then the show aired, then I had to recover from that. I just feel disconnected lately. I feel like what why the membership grew so fast? Why email marketing membership went from zero to 3,000 people in two years. Was because I was connecting and interacting with the community. And then in the next two years, it grew from 3,000 to anywhere between 4,000 and 4,500, depending on the month. That's a much slower rate of growth. Right. And I. I miss interacting with my community. I love interacting with my community. I. I freaking love helping people. Like, this is other than my child. Right? This is my life. This is my life's work, and it freaking lights me up, baby. So I wanted a way to just connect with people every single week. And for new people to come in and say, oh, wow, Liz really gives a crap. Right? Which is my number two reason. Like, I want to show people that aren't in email marketing membership that aren't, you know, behind that $9 paywall. It's a really low payoff. Paywall. Get in. I wanted to show those people what the level of service, the level of commitment, the level that I bring to the table. Right. It's not enough to tell you. I want to show you. I want to show up and show out for my people this year. I. It freaking lights me up. If you're not watching on YouTube, you can't see me smiling, but hopefully you can hear me when I say that. It lights me up. You. Hopefully you can hear my smile. I want to show non members of my community, like, hey, I'm here for you. I'm here for you even if you can't pay me or won't pay me $9 a month. But also, if you do join, like, this is the level of service you're getting. I don't take clients. Yeah. I have free time on Wednesday afternoons. I can literally just go live for two hours answering your questions. Like, that's what Liz Wilcox and Liz Wilcox.com are all about. Community. Okay. Community. I don't know why I just went into a weird Southern thing, but that's what we're all all about around here, I reckon. Okay, so the last reason I really wanted to host Ask Me Anything April is because I get hundreds of questions every single month. And, you know, sometimes Patricia or Amy will answer these questions, sometimes I answer them, but I know they're the same questions over and over. And I wanted to give a. To host a public forum in case you have the same questions, but you are. You're just not asking them. Right. You don't know that. You can just email me or, you know, you feel like maybe it's a dumb question. Right? No such thing as a stupid question, by the way. Not round here. There's not no ma'am. No sir. Okay, so those are the three reasons I really wanted to host Ask Me Anything. I love interacting with my community. I felt disjointed. I want to get back into the practice of a high level of service and I want to show my members and non members of EMM that level of service. I want to show up and show out for my people. Yes. And we get hundreds of the same questions over and over. So I figured putting them in a public forum and then after 48 hours they get put into the membership for all time and eternity. So you can hang out, you can watch them all. That I'm so excited about. Ask me anything. April, if you are too and you've got lots of questions for me, please, please, please attend live or submit your questions. We'll send you the replay. The replay will be available again for 48 hours and then Patricia's putting them inside email marketing membership. Remember emm, it's nine bucks a month. So if you don't get a chance to watch the replay over on YouTube, they're going to be available inside the membership for all time and eternity. Okay, so check the show notes for the links to those individual sessions. It's going to be awesome. I can't wait for you to ask me anything. I can't wait to help you in this way. It feels, it just feels right. We had a great first session talking about list building again. That replay is already up in the membership. So I can't wait to do email marketing, membership talk, content creation, podcast, YouTube talk, and anything else you have to ask me. We're gonna, we're gonna cover it all this month. I really, really can't wait. And I will see you live over on YouTube again. This is open. You don't have to be inside the membership to ask your question, get your question answered. But the replays won't be around forever, just like 48 hours. But you can just join for nine bucks if you, you miss the window there. All right, I'll see you on the next episode. As always, I'm Liz Wilcox. You are awesome. Get inside the membership. If that feels good to you, it's nine bucks a month. In the meantime, I'll see you at the Ask Me anything Wednesday at 1:00.
