As expected this finale weekend, many folks walk away from Phoenix with a little less wind in their sails. It was finale weekend for the top 3 NASCAR national series, and while the racing was exciting, we can’t help but notice that nasty taste in our mouths. Corey Heim forces his way into making the Truck championship appear normal, but on Saturday Jesse Love brought home the hardware over a season-dominating Connor Zilisch. On Sunday the heartbreak continued, with Denny Hamlin dominating the race and losing on a late-race pit call; was this the most fitting way for the Playoff Format era to end? Fake Racers follows NASCAR to the paperclip in Martinsville, where we set the Final 4 for all three national series! Trucks saw more Heim time, and Xfinity saw justice for Taylor Gray who finally got his Martinsville win after getting rooted from the lead in his last attempts! In Cup, Larson hangs on to make the transfer over CBell while Byron walks off with a win to lock into the title race at Phoenix!
